11-5-03 The largest ever flare glares from the Sun's limb
The Sun has unleashed (on 11-4-03) its largest recorded solar flare, capping 10 days of unprecedented activity for the star.
The blast sent billions of tonnes of superhot gas into space - some of it directed towards our planet.
Scientists say the Sun's current spate of activity has produced the most dramatic events seen on the solar surface since regular monitoring began....
Huge energy
Powerful solar flares are given an "X" designation. There was an X8 and an X3 event on Sunday. And on Monday, there was an X3 flare followed by smaller ones....
Last week there were X7 and X10 events that took place back-to-back.
Tuesday's flare went off the scale; researchers say it was "well above X20"....
Note: Later, word came from the SEC that their best estimate was X28. Some think maybe as much as X40. I understand that the intensity of the flare itself caused a problem with measurements. I'm glad the whole thing wasn't aimed directly at Earth.
http://www.space.com/spacewatch/sun_cam_animated.html the sun has gone wild.
On top of Earth getting shot at by the Sun, there will be a total eclipse of the Moon Nov. 8/9. It should be a Blood Moon too, and will be seen from just about everywhere but Australia. Here in CA, I have to remember to look for it as the Moon rises. The eclipse will already be in progress.
Saturn, which I think is Heaven, is in Gemini, where the Bride and Bridegroom are sitting at rest in heavenly places on the ecliptic. Jupiter is in Leo. The Sun is in Virgo. Christ is the seed of the woman, the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Bridegroom. It seems like a good time for the Rapture.
I think Gemini portrays the Rapture, when God "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Eph. 2:6). The Rapture may be very close.

Psa. 33:2,3 says, "Praise the LORD with HARP: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a NEW SONG; play skilfully with a loud noise."
We sing the NEW SONG right after the Pre-Trib Rapture. Rev. 5:8,9 says, "And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them HARPS, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY kindred, and tongue, and people, and NATION".
The 144,000, "which were REDEEMED from the Earth" sing "as it were a NEW SONG before the throne" after the Pre-Wrath Rapture.
After the first Rapture, we read of the 24 elders falling down before the Lamb, "having every one of them HARPS." After the second Rapture, we read of the 144,000 being before the throne in Heaven. Rev. 14:2 says, "I heard the voice of HARPERS HARPING WITH THEIR HARPS." Rev. 15:2 says, "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the HARPS of God."
In Gemini, both figures are at rest. Saturn, Heb. Shabbatai, means rest, as does Shabbat, the Sabbath rest. Just as the Shabbat is the 7th day, Shabbatai is the 7th lamp on the candlestick (Josephus, Ant. III. VI. 7).
Notice that both the Bride and Bridegroom have weapons, but are not using them at the time. In Orion, Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, is the victor over Satan, the roaring lion. Then comes rest in Gemini.
The Bride also rests. There is a time to fight and a time to rest. In 1Tim. 6:12, Paul said, "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." In 2Tim. 4:7, Paul said, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Next comes his rest in Shabbatai, "the third heaven" (II Cor. 12:2, i.e., Mars, Jupiter and Saturn). We will join him there. Psa. 149:5 says, "Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds."
APOD has this beautiful picture of Mars, plus lightning in clouds that look like a flying swan.

11-3-3 MOSCOW (ANSA) -- An expedition organized by the Russian "Unknown Planet" association claimed having discovered Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat.
The news was broken by mission director Andrey Polyakov, a linguist and documentaryist, at the "Unknown Planet" website, which makes films on Earth mysteries, as well as in an interview with the Russian press.
In the past, specialists had claimed that the remains of Noah's Ark--an enormous petrified wood structure which corresponded to the measurements given in the Bible, had been photographed from space.
Polyakov claims having obtained authorization from Turkish authorities for ascending Ararat, which is closed due to security reasons. "The Ark is not on Ararat's summit, but rather some 30 kilometers away," he noted. "The Bible itself states that it wasn't on Ararat, but in the Mountains of Ararat."
"It's an enormous petrified wood structure, 150 meters long, 25 wide, and 15 tall, resembling a vessel as large as a football field," he added.
...According to Kurdish sources cited by Polyakov, after a tremendous earthquake in 1948, the ship was severed in two halves--one of which points upward with a height of 2 meters. The other remains buried....
Isa. 48:16-18 says, "Come ye near unto me (YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer, the pre-incarnate Christ, the Son of God), hear ye this; I (the Son of God) have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I (the Son of God): and now the Lord GOD (1, the Father), and his Spirit (2, the Holy Spirit), hath sent me (3, the Son of God, the Pre-incarnate Christ). Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer (YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer, Isa. 44:6), the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God (i.e., the Pre-incarnate Christ) WHICH TEACHETH THEE to profit, WHICH LEADETH THEE by the way that thou shouldest go (i.e., including through the wilderness after the Exodus). O that thou hadst hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS! (at Mt. Sinai) then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea". Agape
Did you happen to see a recent piece on 5 Doves of a link showing that even the New Age devotees see 11/11 as a date in which the heavens open and those who have been prepared for the opening will be taken from this planet? They somehow link that event to one of the "cleansings" to occur on the earth. Satan knows the Rapture windows as he watches for our departure.
We pray for you and Ed and thank the Lord so much for your ongoing faithfulness. On a personal note, Marilyn, have you read Dr. Bernsteins Diabetic Solution? We just brought my husband's blood sugars down from 255 to 114 in ten days with exercise and Bernstein's careful approach, no medications. He has a narrow carb allowance of 6 carbs for breakfast, 12 for lunch, dinner and snacks which must be spaced 3 1/2 hrs. apart to allow the insulin from one meal to not affect the next. Prayerfully, we will be in new bodies soon!
Love to you! And hopefully, Jesus, an in person hug soon!
The Armistice was signed at 11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1917. Peace began then. There could be a correlation.
I don't think I read a post about the New Agers. It would be a switch if thy got something right, wouldn't it?...Love
I couldn't get that document. It may not be there now.
My advice I wrote on Pro and Con 795 still stands. I said, "If I were you, I'd forget this author's writing. During Jesus' ministry, the Septuagint (LXX), a Greek translation of the Old Testament, was in use. He didn't take it away from the Jews because it was in a different language. There are quotes from the LXX in the New Testament.
Read the Bible in any language you understand. God had the Old Testament written in Hebrew and a bit of Chaldean in Daniel. He had the New Testament written in Greek. He wants us to read his book, otherwise we wouldn't have a chance to pass his test. He doesn't require every person in the world to learn Hebrew, Chaldean and Greek to read his word. It's best to read a translation in your own language, for you will understand more of what is being said. That's what is important. Otherwise you may fail your test.
And what is our test? Will we or won't we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our own personal Saviour. Do we believe he is who he claimed to be?
In Mt. 22:42, Jesus said, "What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?" Our eternal destiny depends on the right answer. So, whose son is he? My answer is that he truly is the Son of God.
Isa. 9:6 explains, "For unto us a child is born (inheriting his human nature from his mother), unto us a son is given (inheriting his deity from his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
You see, he has more than one name here, and among them we find "The mighty God." I Cor. 5:19 says it plainly, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself", and that is pure truth.
In Rom. 10:9-13, Paul made the way of salvation simple. He said, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour? God has decreed that the just shall walk by faith. Do you have faith in Jesus? Do you believe that he died for you so that you wouldn't have to die for your sins that you have committed? The soul that sinneth, it shall die. We only have one out, and that comes to us by way of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
He lived a perfect life, without committing sin. Only his death could take sin out of the way as as issue in salvation. He paid for sin, my sins, your sins, the sins of every person in the world, for he had not committed any sin himself. His was the perfect sacrifice for sin. Now, it is "What think ye of Christ?" For his sacrifice for sin to wipe away your sins, you have to accept him, have faith in him, believe that he died for you. He offers salvation to us as a free gift. All we have to do is accept it by accepting Christ. Are you a believer? Agape
It seems like I remember one of you mentioning that you, several months ago, had received many virus' in just a few days. Does one of you remember that?
What did you do re deleting the virus'?
How do you know if you are deleting a good file with the virus or not? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. David
I got way over 400 viruses at one time. An e-mail friend told me that on this particular virus, I could click on the first one and Shift-click on the last one to delete them. Then I needed to empty the Deleted folder and compact folders twice to erase all traces where they had been.
Before that wave, I had gotten viruses that I could not click on. The moment they were clicked on, they dropped a virus.exe file. I worked out a method to delete those safely.
I clicked on an e-mail on one side of the virus, shift-clicked on the one on the other side of the virus, selecting all three (or a block of any size), then hit Delete. If I needed either of the outside e-mails, I could drag them out of the Deleted folder and put them back in my Inbox before emptying the Deleted folder. I could also hit Reply to those before deleting them. If the virus was the last e-mail in, I went to my web site and sent myself an e-mail. When that came in, I could delete the virus without clicking on it.
The virus that I get most often now is pretending to be a Microsoft anti-virus fix. Microsoft never sends out e-mail about such. People have to go to Microsoft's Web Site to download fixes.
How do I know what to save? I read the subjects and flag those I want to read. I just hope that the people that I want to get mail from will try to give me a subject specific enough for me to understand that it is one I want to keep and read.
Next, I look for attachments. The virus file is usually in an attachment, but not always. Anyway, an attachment is a dead givaway. If any e-mail has an attachment, I delete it. Because of the virus danger, people should Copy and Paste into the e-mail document instead of sending attachments.
If an e-mail also has no subject and I don't recognize the emailer, I toss it. I don't want to take any unnecessary chances.
In my sorting of incoming e-mail, I also have lots of spam to delete. I have gotten 51 e-mails and not had but 4 to read.
If I ever have an attachment that I want to see, and that's rare, I save it to disk and open it from my Desktop. I don't open it in my MSOutlook e-mail program. Agape
