A SIGN? "Longest solar eclipse for 1,000 years turns Sun into a blazing ring of fire"

By Daily Mail Reporter, 16th January 2010
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1243436/Solar-Eclipse-January-2010-Sun-turns-blazing-ring-glory.html

The sun is reduced to a ring of gold against the black sky as the Moon slips between it and Earth.

This solar eclipse yesterday lasted for 11 minutes and eight seconds, setting a record that will not be beaten until December 23, 3043.

Such events, which only blot out the middle of the Sun, are known as annular eclipses. They occur about 66 times a century and can only be viewed in the narrow band on the Earth’s surface below their path.

Incoming e-mail, Re: I can show evidence of a pretrib rapture

I mean no disrespect, but I have to disagree with you on a few things.

I do believe in bible prophecy of course, but I don't think that the tribulation has started at all.

I can show evidence of a pretrib rapture.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-56) obviously explains the rapture, but then if you turn to Rev 3:10, it says that God will keep us from the hour of trial, hence a pretrib rapture!

1 Thessalonians 1:10, Jesus also says he will deliver us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9, God has not appointed us to wrath (this verse follows the strongest passage on the rapture in chapter 4)

If you also look at the original hebrew, "ek" is used multiple times which means out of.

One other Major point is that the church is absent in Revelation 4-18, however the church is mentioned 17 times in the first 3 chapters. After John, a member of the church, is called up to heaven in chapter 4, he looks down at the events of the tribulation.

So I'd like to hear what you think, and if you have any good arguments i'd like to hear from you. Thanks :)

My reply

It's ok to disagree. Maybe we can get farther by putting our thoughts together.

> > I can show evidence of a pretrib rapture.

I can too. How about Luke 21:36 and Rev. 3:10? I have believed in a Pre-Trib Rapture at least ever since 1960, until just lately, when I awoke to the realization that we seem to already be in the 2nd year of the Tribulation, and how could that sneak up on me? Doesn't a peace treaty kick off the Tribulation? I'd better review the pertinent scriptures.

Right now, this seems to be the layout of the 7-year Tribulation: (1) 5769, (2) 5770, this year, (3) 5771, (4) 5772, (5) 5773, (6) 5774 and (7) 5775, a Sabbatic Year. If Jesus is to return at the beginning of a Jubilee Year, and I think he will, the 7th year of the Tribulation would have to be a Sabbatic 49th year. The next year, 5776, would be the Jubilee Year. It looks like the Day of God's Wrath will be Tishri 1, 5776, the Feast of Trumpets, and the Second Advent will be Nisan 1, 5776, Saturday, the Sabbath, April 9, 2016, the first day of the Jubilee Year. It makes sense. Jesus said he is Lord of the Sabbath.

28 AD was a Jubilee Year. The Jubilee cycle is a 49-year cycle. The next year is both the Jubilee and the first year of the next cycle. That would make 1940, 1989 and 2038 Jubilee years. That seems impossible. Therefore, they must have started over either in 1948 or 1967. 1948 + 49 + 1 = 1998. That has passed. The Six-Day War in 1967 + 50 = 2017. That just might nail it.

Since Daniel is to stand in his lot in Israel on the 1335th day (Dan. 12:12,13), it seems that it would be in a Jubilee Year, when they would all return to their possession.

It looks like the Day of God's Wrath could be the next day after 5775 ends. That would be Tishri 1, 5776, the Feast of Trumpets (Joel 2:1-3), and the Second Advent would be 7 months later (Eze. 39:12,13), on the first day of the Jubilee Year, Nisan 1, 5776, having been announced on the previous Day of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015. That would make sense if the Day of God's Wrath was Sept. 14, 2015, the Feast of Trumpets (Joel 2:1-3).

What changed my mind? the Sabbatic and Jubilee Years seem to have pushed my figures for the Tribulation up against a brick wall. Right now, I can't see how they could be slid any further into the future. They were to count 50 years after they entered the land. Fifty years after they took the rest of Jerusalem and the Temple area in 1967 will be 5776. That seems perfect. 5 June 1967 = 26th of Iyyar, 5727. The year 5727 + 50 = 2017.

Maybe you can help me see this differently. I'm sure open for suggestions. All I want is to understand the timing correctly, and right now, there are a couple of possible glitches I can see. We have no Temple yet, and we have no finalized peace agreement. Since we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, maybe we have to be gone before the literal Temple can be built, but what about Dan. 9:27? Some kind of a covenant is to be strengthened in the 70th week of Daniel.

Most people think this agreement is a final peace agreement between Israel and the PA. However, there were agreements between Israel and Arafat and between Israel and the Pope in 1993.

"In 1993...John Paul II agreed to the Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and Israel establishing relations between the two states and, in 1997, the Legal Personality Agreement recognizing church officials in Israel."

In 2005, "Pontiff (Benedict) said he was very 'eager' to see the 'fulfillment' of the 1993 Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel."

http://2010rapture.org/vilnagaon.html "If the 18th-century rabbinic authority the Vilna Gaon was right, on March 16, 2010, construction will begin on the third Temple. His projection states that the auspicious day will coincide with the third completion of the Hurva Synagogue in Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter." Time will tell on that.

Since I think the Rapture will be on Sunday (Rev. 1:9,10), it only fits Ascension Day this spring. That will be on May 9, 2010. If the Temple construction does begin on March 16, it would sure make May 9 look good for the Rapture.

Dan 9:27 says, "And he (i.e., the prince that shall come) shall confirm (or strengthen) the covenant with many for one week (of years, 7 years): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations (idols) he shall make it desolate (Mt. 24:15), even until the consummation, and that determined (i.e., the Wrath of God) shall be poured upon the desolate."

We know that when Israel came into the land, they were to keep the Sabbatic and Jubilee Years.

Lev 25:10 says, "And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year (starting on Nisan 1), and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a JUBILE unto you; and YE SHALL RETURN EVERY MAN UNTO HIS POSSESSION".

I'll try to think this through again. Maybe something I missed will pop out at me as I go. Daniel is one of those that will return to his possession in the Jubilee Year. According to Dan 12:12,13, Daniel is to stand in his lot in Israel on the 1335th day following Mid-Trib. That would be in the Jubilee Year that would start at the Second Advent.

Dan 12:12,13 says, "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till THE END be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."

Israel declared her Independence May 14, 1948 (Iyar 5, 5708). 1948 + 50 = 1998 (5708 + 50 = 5758). That year passed without event. Therefore, we must consider the Six-Day War the starting point.

In Mt. 24:32-34, we are shown that the generation born in 1967 will not pass away until the Tribulation has taken place. A generation in Mt. 1:17 is 48.33 years (2030 years divided by 42 generations). 1967 plus 48.33 years is 2015.33, or Tishri 1, 5776 (Sept. 14, 2015). I think that day will be the Day of God's Wrath, the day Gog's army will attack Israel. Christ will follow the type laid down when Solomon purged his kingdom at the outset.

It looks like Christ will receive his kingdom that day (Tishri 1, 5776) in Heaven, be crowned King of kings and sit as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. The saints will receive their rewards at the same time the unbelievers on Earth will receive the wrath of God (Rev. 11:15-18).

It does seem that the year of the Second Advent would be a Jubilee Year, because the Israelites will regain their inherited plot of land in Israel. Therefore, the preceeding year would have to be a Sabbatic Year. 5775 is Sabbatic, so 5776 could be the Jubilee Year, which would be announced on the Day of Atonement, Sept. 23, 5776 and begin the following Nisan 1, 5776.

There are 7 months between the Day of God's Wrath (Eze. 38:18-20) on Tishri 1, 5776 and the Second Advent (Eze. 39:12,13) on the following Nisan 1, 5776. That ties in beautifully, because the year 5776 is a LEAP YEAR with a 13th month.

THAT LOCKS EVERYTHING INTO PLACE

The year 5775 is Sabbatic, and 5776 is both a Leap Year and probably the Jubilee Year. How often would that happen?

Ron Reese found the type that fits the Tribulation years. Jacob and the rest of Joseph's family came to him in the 2nd year of the 7 years of famine, which represent the 7-year Tribulation.

In Gen. 45:6, Joseph said, "For these TWO YEARS hath the famine been in the land: and YET THERE ARE FIVE YEARS, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest."

I think the Rapture is likely to take place this year, on Ascension Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010, Iyar 25, 5770. None of the spring feasts will be on Sunday this year, but Ascension Day will fall on Sunday.

Why Sunday? The script of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" is written as if the first of the two Raptures (First Trump of God (I Thess. 4:16,17; Rev. 4:1) and Last Trump of God (I Cor. 15:51,52; Rev. 6:17; 7:9,14) is at hand. The First Rapture is near in both the 1st and last chapters.

Rev 1:3 says, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for THE TIME IS AT HAND."

Rev. 22:10 says, "And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for THE TIME IS AT HAND."

After the Introduction, in the Preview of the First-Trump Rapture, Rev. 1:9-11 says, "I John, who also am your brother, and COMPANION IN TRIBULATION, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos (meaning mortal), for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was (lit., became) in the Spirit (i.e., when raptured) on the Lord's day (Sunday), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet (i.e., the first trumpet of God, I Thess. 4:16,17 and Rev. 4:1), Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last" (YHWH king of Israel and YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer; Isa. 44:6).

Being one of the 24 elders (Rev. 4:4), John was caught up to Heaven (as in Rev. 4:1). When he turned to see who was speaking, he saw Christ with the star performers of the churches still in his hand. The churches, represented by their candlesticks (Rev. 1:20), were there with the Lord. At that point, the first Rapture had taken place, and there was a hint that the Tribulation had already started. John had said, "I John, who also am your brother, and COMPANION IN TRIBULATION".

To the church when the Rapture is near, Rev. 2:8-11 says, "And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna (meaning myrrh, bitterness, WHICH HAS TO BE CRUSHED TO BRING OUT ITS SWEET SCENT) write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; I know thy works, and TRIBULATION, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not (members of British Israelism?), but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which THOU SHALT SUFFER (future tense): behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION ten days (then the Rapture will probably take place): be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the CHURCHES"

The Tribulation seems to have started Tishri 1, 5769, when the Dow dropped to 777.68 on Elul 29, 5768, just 3 hours before the Feast of Trumpets began in New York. Because of the different time zone, Tishri 1, 5769 had already arrived in Israel.

SUMMARY

7 YEARS OF TRIBULATION - A SABBATIC CYCLE

(1) 5769, (2) 5770, (3) 5771, (4) 5772, (5) 5773, (6) 5774, and (7) 5775 (Sabbatic Year)

FIRST YEAR OF THE MILLENNIUM
5776

THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE IN THE SECOND YEAR OF THE TRIBULATION

The type: Nu 10:2-4 says, "Make thee TWO TRUMPETS (i.e., they stand for two Raptures) of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the ASSEMBLY, and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them (i.e., with both), ALL the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And if they blow but with ONE trumpet, then the princes (ELDERS), which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee."

The First-Trump Rapture (I Thess. 4:16,17) will probably take place on the Lord's Day (Sunday).

Ascension Day, the Lord's Day, Sunday, 40th day of the Omer, Iyar 25, 5770 = May 9, 2010.

DAY OF THE LORD, DAY OF GOD'S WRATH

Monday, Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5776 = Sept 14, 2015.

THE LAST-TRUMP RAPTURE

It will probably take place early on the Day of the Lord, Tishri 1, 5776.

First on the agenda that day, the Sign of the Son of Man is seen in the sky as the Last-Trump Rapture (I Cor. 15:51,52) takes place. All saints are gathered to the General Assembly in Heaven (Heb. 12:23) (Mt. 24:31; Mark 13:27).

Mt 24:30,31 says, "And then shall appear the SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect (that were Raptured in the 2nd year) from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."

Mark 13:26,27 says, "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds (i.e., the Sign of the Son of Man, Jesus sitting on his throne, is seen in the sky) with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (this is the 2nd Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."

Rev 6:16,17 says, "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from THE FACE OF HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Jesus is crowned King of kings and Lord of lords in Heaven. Then there is silence in Heaven (Rev. 8:1) and on Earth (Hab. 2:20) while Jesus is being seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

SEVEN MONTHS BETWEEN THE DAY OF GOD'S WRATH AND THE SECOND ADVENT

There are 7 months between Tishri 1 and Nisan 1 that year (Eze. 39:12,13), because 5776 is a Hebrew Leap Year with the 13th month, Adar II.

THE JUBILEE AND REGNAL YEAR

The Jubilee Year, Nisan 1, 5776 (Saturday, April 9, 2016) to Nisan 1, 5777 (Tue, March 28, 2017), would be announced on the previous Day of Atonement, Wed., Sept. 23, 2015.

THE SECOND ADVENT

It looks like the Second Advent will be Nisan 1, 5776 (the very appropriate Saturday Sabbath, April 9, 2016). "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day" (Mt. 12:8).

Oct 23, 2014 Partial: (Tishri 29, 5775)

DAY OF THE LAST-TRUMP RAPTURE, THE DAY OF GOD'S WRATH

Probably Tishri 1, 5776, which starts at 6 PM on Sept. 13, 2015

The last day of 5775, Elul 29, our Sept. 13, 2015, is marked by a Partial Solar eclipse at the dark of the Moon. To recheck, I went to Fred Espenak's Solar Eclipse list for NASA. It is not after 6 PM, as I had thought. I then went to YourSky. At 8 AM on Sept. 13, 2015, the Sun will be at 11h 24m 2s and the Moon will be at 11h 24m 45s Right Ascension. That's the eclipse. I think it marks the day preceeding the Day of God's Wrath.

Tishri 1 should start when the New Crescent Moon is sighted in Virgo. That phase could take up to two days, but I am going by the Hebrew Calendar, which lists Sept. 14, 2015 as Tishri 1, 5776.

That date seems right because the 2300 days (Dan. 8:13,14) preceding it, counted by inclusive reckoning because it is a block of time, set May 29, 2009, Pentecost, as the beginning of the Shortened Tribulation.

Of the Day of the Lord, the Day of God's Wrath, Rev 6:12 says, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the SUN BECAME BLACK as sackcloth of hair, and THE MOON BECAME AS BLOOD".

Zeph 1:14,15 says of that day, "The great DAY OF THE LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the DAY OF THE LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of WRATH, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a DAY OF DARKNESS and gloominess, a day of clouds and THICK DARKNESS".

Isa 13:9,10 says, "Behold, the DAY OF THE LORD cometh, cruel both with WRATH and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: THE SUN SHALL BE DARKENED IN HIS GOING FORTH, AND THE MOON SHALL NOT CAUSE HER LIGHT TO SHINE."

INTERESTING CORRELATIONS
1897, when the first Zionist Congress met, plus 120 years equals 2017.

Gen 6:3 says, "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." That just might happen again in our days.

1917, when Gen. Allenby took Jerusalem, plus 100 years also equals 2017.

1967, when the Six-Day War took place, plus 50 years also equals 2017.

I expect the Jubilee Year to run from Nisan 1, 5776 (Sat, 9 April 2016) to Nisan 1, 5777 (Tue, 28 March 2017).

I hope this helps you understand why the passage of time has changed my mind about a Pre-Trib Rapture.

But, what we are to be kept out of?

Luke 21:25-36 says, "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars (we have had those; besides the pictures on my Home Page, think of Jupiter getting hit with 21 pieces of a comet that broke up and the tremedous Gamma Ray Bursts that got our attention); and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (think of the mammoth tsunamis that hit the Indian Ocean area and maybe killed 200,000); Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory (this is the Sign of the Son of Man, seen in the sky). And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (other nations); When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand (the Six-Day War started June 5; summer began June 21). So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation (i.e., 48.33 years) shall not pass away, till ALL be fulfilled. Heaven (ouranos, the heavens, the air) and earth shall pass away (parerchomai, perish): but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so THAT DAY (when the heavens and the earth shall pass away) come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT SHALL COME TO PASS, and to stand before the Son of man."

So far, we have just seen the signs and the terrific blow to the economy when the Dow went down to 777.68 and marked the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel 9:27. The worst is yet to come. I think we will get out of here soon, hopefully May 9.

About 10 days before the Rapture, in Rev 3:8-10, Jesus says, "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door (i.e., that will still be open at the Rapture), and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (hupomone, patient endurance), I also will KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try (peirazo, test, tempt) them that dwell upon the earth."

This hour of temptation does not have to be 7 years long. It could be when the False Prophet will require people all over the world to take the Mark of the Beast to be able to buy or sell. We should be caught up before that. This second year should end Tishri 1, 5771, Sept. 9, 2010.

Haiti's 7.0 earthquake

There shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:6-8)

According to Bonnie Gaunt’s “Jubilee Study” in her Aug. 10, 2006, letter on Five Doves, and several others, the autumn of 2015 begins not just a new Sabbatical year but also a JUBILEE YEAR!!!

John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have TRIBULATION; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

"Bruce W- Divisions of time in the book of Rev. according to Rev 1:19"
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/jan2010/laurieh113-2.htm

Bruce, ...let me get on to Rev. 1:19. Excerpts are from a radio programs by former A. E. Wilson

"In vs. 19 we have the division of the book of Revelation given unto us by the Lord God Almighty.....Here is the Lord's own outline of the division of the book; here is the Lord's own summary of the contents of this book. Accepting the Lord's summary, accepting the Lord's outline, it becomes comparatively easy to understand The Revelation.

There are three divisions in the book..three major divisions. Notice in this vs. 19; "write the things which thou hast seen," (that's division #1) "and the things which are,"(that's division #2) "and the things which shall be hereafter" (that's division #3). That there are these three divisions is evident by the fact that the word things occurs three times in this 19th vs. in the Greek text. Very few translators translate these three words. Here is on instance where the King James translation is superior to the majority of modern translations. "Write the thing (#1) which thou has seen, and the things (#2) which are, and the things (#3) which shall be hereafter.

Now notice: "Write the things which thou hast seen" up until this point John has seen nothing but the seven golden candlesticks and the Lord in the midst of them with the seven stars in His right hand. That's all that John has seen and that's all that is included in the first division and that's right here before us in chapter #1. Therefore, division #1 of the book of The Revelation is chapter #1--the things which John had seen up until the point tof the writing of vs. 19. Write the things which thou hast seen.

Now the third division begins with the expression "the things which shall be hereafter." Turn to chapter 4 of The Revelation. "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven." That is a distinct break, a distinct division in the book of The Revelation. John, seeing the door opened in heaven, "and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." Notice the expression "things which must be hereafter." Look again in the 19th vs. of the 1st chapter and the third division; "The things which shall be hereafter. "There can be no mistake, there can be no misunderstanding--"The things which shall be hereafter" begin in chapter 4 and continue on to the end of the book. That gives us two divisions, the first and the third.

The first division of the book is "the things which thou hast seen," and all that John had seen up until that moment was the vision or the revelation in chapter 1. The third division, "Write the things which shall be hereafter." In chapter 4 John sees the door opened into heaven and he hears the voice speaking which says, "Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

There is the first part of Revelation accounted for--division #1. Then chapter 4 to the end is the third division. That leaves only chapters 2 and 3; and in vs. 19 we have but one division left. That is the second or the middle division which is described in the 19th vs. of the 1st chapter, "The things which are." Now the things which shall be hereafter are the things which are going to come to pass swiftly or rapidly when put in motion. And that begins with chapter 4. Therefore, the things mentioned and described in chapters 2 and 3 constitute a study, a history, an account of the things pertaining to the church...the church of the living God, having come into existence the day of Pentecost and continues until the time in which it is caught up into the heaven, which synchronizes with chapter 4 of the Revelation; "Come up hither." The calling up of John into the heavens is symbolic or typical of the calling up of the church. So that chapters 1,2 and 3 of the Revelation cover the things transpiring from the time that John saw the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ in the midst of the seven candlesticks until the time that the church is caught up into the heavens--chapters 1,2 and 3. So that this is the division given us by God Almighty.

Hope you have enjoyed this study. It is written from a radio show in the 80's I believe so the language is as if he is speaking to you. A little different, but I'm sure you get the point.

Re: Divisions of time in the book of Rev. according to Rev 1:19

Here is my take on Rev 1:19. It says, "Write the things which thou hast seen (before the Rapture, Rev. 2 and 3), and the things which are (at the time of the Rapture, Rev. 4:1), and the things which shall be hereafter (after the Rapture, Rev. 4:2 on until the end, where Jesus signs off).

The setting of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" is when the Rapture is near. Jesus looks at things from that viewpoint. When he signs in and off, it is when the Rapture is near.

Rev. 1:3 says, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time (i.e., of the Rapture) is at hand."

Rev. 22:10 says, "And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time (i.e., of the Rapture) is at hand."

Jesus signs off with Rev 22:20, "Surely I come quickly. Amen." He comes quickly at the Rapture.

Addressing foolish virgin types in Rev. 2:5, he says, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."

I John 1:9 explains what to do when we repent. It says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

All OLD SINS are forgiven when we first accept Jesus Christ as our own personal Saviour. All sins after that need to be confessed to bring them under the blood of Christ.

2Peter 1:9 says, "But he that lacketh these things is blind (i.e., like the Laodiceans), and cannot see afar off (Heaven), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his OLD SINS."

This lesson is what the Tribulation saints have finally learned in Rev 7:14. It says, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

In Rev 22:7, Jesus says, "Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book."

In Rev 22:12, he says, "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

You can see the divisions of "The Revelatiobn of Jesus Christ" reflected in Rev 4:1. It says, "After this (things before the Rapture) I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (the Rapture), and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter" (after the Rapture).

When John announces the author of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" in Rev. 1:4, the divisions are a bit different. He says, "John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is (i.e., at the time of the Rapture), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent); and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne."

The divisions are a bit different in Rev 11:17 too. It says, "We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art (i.e., on the Day of the Lord, which is the Day of God's Wrath on Earth and Coronation Day in Heaven), and wast (at the First Advent), and art to come (at the Second Advent, 7 months later (Eze. 39:12,13); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned."
