BARLEY AND WHEAT HARVEST

It looks like the barley harvest started on Firstfruits and will end on Ascension Day, May 29, 2011.

The wheat harvest starts on Pentecost, which is June 8, 2011. It's end is celebrated on the Feast of Trumpets.

Ex 34:22 (LITV) says, "And you shall observe a Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) for yourself, the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat; also the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year" (i.e., the New Year, the Feast of Trumpets)

Sister Marilyn, we do not agree on certain particulars of timelines, but I know for a moral certainty that the Ruach HaKodesh has given you great insight into God's desire for each member His Bride to live an unassailably holy life. It is written,
"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
"But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God....
"For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."

My reply

Thanks for your kind words. I do seem to quote I John 1:9 a lot. We want to be Philadelphians, for which the Lord had no words of condemnation, not Laodiceans.

The main thing that drives me is my intense desire to understand all that the Lord put in the Bible. There is so much information there, layer upon layer, clues here and there in such unexpected places. No man could have gotten all that into such a small book. It took the Lord to be able to do it, and we will never get to the end of it in this lifetime. It keeps me digging.

> > Will the wheat group still be considered bride?

At the second Rapture, it looks to me like only the 144,000 Israelites will be added to the Bride group. All of the Bride will sing the NEW SONG at the First-Trump Rapture, and of the group raptured last, only the 144,000 get to sing it.

It seems like the barley group that are caught up in the First-Trump Rapture will all be part of the Bride of Christ. Of the wheat group, only the 144,000 Israelites seem to be added to the Bride group at the time of the Last-Trump Rapture.

I think the wise-virgin Philadelphians are the barley harvest, which may be caught up as Jesus, the head of the Body of Christ, ascended on Ascension Day (May 29 this year).

That fits the type played out by Ruth and Boaz. He had been winnowing barley the night Ruth lay at his feet. The next morning, he gave Ruth, a gentile, 6 measures of barley. That ties in with the 6th church group, the Philadelphians, most of them Gentiles. All of that group sing the NEW SONG.

Naomi and Ruth "came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest" (Ruth 1:22). That could be the day after Firstfruits, when the second omer of barley is waved before the Lord.

Of the night Ruth lay at Boaz' feet, Ruth 3:15-17 says, "Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured SIX MEASURES OF BARLEY (maybe 6 omers of barley, type of the 6th church, the mainly gentile Philadelphian church), and laid it on her: and she went into the city. 16 And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her. 17 And she said, These SIX MEASURES OF BARLEY gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law."

At the First-Trump Rapture, the Philadelphian Church, for whom Jesus had no words of condemnation, will be caught up to Heaven. The foolish virgins, i.e., the Laodiceans (meaning just people), will be spewed out of Christ's mouth at that time.

It looks like none of those Laodiceans will end up being added to the Bride of Christ group. However, the 144,000 Israelites seem to be added to the Bride group. They are called virgins and sing the NEW SONG.

In Rev 5:9, the Philadelphian saints in Heaven sing the NEW SONG. It says, "And they (the saints) sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, and tongue, and people, and nation".

In Psa 149:5, they also sing the NEW SONG when they are in Heaven. Psa 149:1-9 says, "Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a NEW SONG, and his praise in the congregation of saints (i.e., the general assembly of Heb 12:23). 2 Let Israel (including the 144,000) rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. 4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory (i.e., in Heaven): let them sing aloud upon their beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have ALL his saints (including the Laodiceans). Praise ye the LORD."

Of the General Assembly in Heaven, Heb 12:22-24 says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the GENERAL ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant".

In Rev 14:1-5, only the 144,000 are called virgins without fault before the throne of God, and of the Second Rapture group, only the 144,000 can sing the NEW SONG.

It says, "I looked, and, lo, a Lamb (Jesus) stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they (probably the first Rapture saints plus the 144,000 Israelites) sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts (whose faces probably stand for the 4 cardinal points of the compass), and the elders (the 12 patriarchs and the 12 apostles of Israel): and NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, which were redeemed (in the Last-Trump Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets, probably Sept 14, 2015) from the earth. 4 These are they which were NOT DEFILED with women; for THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, BEING THE FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: FOR THEY ARE WITHOUT FAULT (like the Philadelphians are without condemnation) before the throne of God." Incoming e-mail, Re: "MORE ABOUT THE 'WHEAT'....."

Luke 3:16-18
"John answered, saying to all, I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. HE WILL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out his threshing floor, and GATHER (rapture) THE WHEAT (Bride/Church) INTO HIS BARN (heaven); but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire."

After we have been 'baptized with the Holy Spirit' (ie. re-born of Spirit) we become the 'Firstfruits of the Spirit' and are the Bride/Church and the 'wheat harvest' to be raptured to heaven.

Matthew 13:30
"Let both grow together until the harvest (rapture), and at the time of the harvest (rapture) I will say to the reapers, First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but GATHER (rapture) THE WHEAT (Bride/Church) INTO MY BARN."

At the time of the rapture the tares will be separated from the 'wheat who is the Bride/Church' which will be raptured to heaven.

Exodus 34:22-23 & 25
"And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of THE FIRSTFRUITS OF WHEAT HARVEST, and the Feast of Ingathering at years end. Three times in a year your men shall appear before the Lord, the Lord God of Israel. (25)"YOU SHALL NOT OFFER THE BLOOD OF MY SACRIFICE WITH LEAVEN, nor shall the sacrifice of the Feast of Passover be left until morning."

The 'single-loaf' of Barley Bread baked without leaven from the 'Firstfruits of the barley harvest' offered by the priest during the Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread/Firstfruits is representative of Jesus who is the 'Firstfruits of the Dead'.

The 'two-loaves' of wheat bread baked with leaven from the 'Firstfruits of the wheat harvest' offered by the priest during the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost are representative of the 'dead in Christ' and the 'living in Christ' who are the 'Firstfruits of the Holy Spirit' who we were given on the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost.

Jesus is the unleavened, barley 'Bread of Life' and the 'Firstfruits of the dead'. The Bride/Church is the leavened, wheat bread and the 'Firstfruits of the Spirit'.
According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!

Thank you for quoting a different version. Now I can see that Luke 3:16-18 is talking about the barley Rapture, the First-Trump Rapture, because it literally says, "His WINNOWING FAN is in His hand." I looked up the Greek, and "ptuon" actually means WINNOWING FORK. A winnowing fork is used in the barley harvest. A tribulum is used in the wheat harvest. Therefore, "sitos," grain, should, in this case, be understood as barley instead of wheat.

We must keep in mind that a winnowing fork is used to harvest barley, and a tribulum is used to thresh wheat.

The barley harvest stands for the Rapture of the Philadelphian Church, and the wheat harvest stands for the Rapture of the Laodicean Church, the 144,000 Israelites, and a vast number of other Tribulation saints (Rev 7).

The light dawns. I finally understand Luke 3:17. We are the barley harvest that follows Christ, the Firstfruit of barley. The counting of the omer refers to omers of barley that are waved each day of the countdown.

Ascension Day has to do with the barley harvest and maybe the First-Trump Rapture. Luke 3:17 is talking about the rapture of the barley (maybe on Ascension Day, May 29, 2011).

Luke 3:17 (ISV) says, "His WINNOWING FORK (for winnowing barley) is in his hand to clean up his threshing floor. He will gather (i.e., rapture) the GRAIN (BARLEY, the wise virgins) into his barn, but he will burn the chaff with inextinguishable fire" (in hell).

Mt 13:30 is talking about the wheat harvest, the rapture of the Tribulation saints. The tribulum is used to thresh wheat. Pentecost is the beginning of the wheat harvest that ends with the rapture of the Tribulation saints on the Feast of Trumpets, probably on Sept 14, 2015, the Day of God's Wrath). The tares will be burned the same day, after the Last-Trump Rapture takes place. Remember that when a winnowing fork is mentioned, it is talking about barley. Mt 3:12 (ISV) says, "His winnowing fork is in his hand. He will clean up his threshing floor and gather his grain (barley) into the barn, but he will burn the chaff with inextinguishable fire" (hell).

Luke 3:17 (ISV) says, "His winnowing fork is in his hand to clean up his threshing floor. He will gather the grain (barley) into his barn, but he will burn the chaff with inextinguishable fire" (hell).

THE FIRST DAY AND LAST DAY RAPTURES

John 6:37-40 (ISV) says, "Everything the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never turn away. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of the one who sent me. 39 And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I SHOULD NOT LOSE ANYTHING that he has given me, but should raise it to life on THE LAST DAY (i.e., the Last-Trump Rapture on the last day of this age). 40 For this is my Father's will, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him to life on the LAST DAY."

Since there is a "last day," there is a first day. To me, those two days represent the two Raptures. The Philadelphians (who had no condemnation mentioned) represent the church, the wise virgins that are raptured on the FIRST DAY (maybe May 29, 2011). The Laodiceans represent the church, the foolish virgins, that are raptured on the LAST DAY (maybe Sept 14, 2015) of this age.

ANOTHER THOUGHT WHILE I HAVE THE ISV OPEN, JESUS WAS RESURRECTED ON SUNDAY

Some people think JESUS AROSE ON SATURDAY, but Mark 16:9 (ISV) says, "After JESUS ROSE EARLY ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK (SUNDAY), he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had driven out seven demons." Agape
