ANOTHER OF GOD'S ARTISTIC WONDERS, ORCHIDS

MY THOUGHTS CONCERNING AN INCOMING EMAIL

I just got a shocking email talking about SUDDEN DESTRUCTION. Among other things, it said, "BROKEN ARROW! BROKEN ARROW!" "These were the urgent code words...NAVY SEAL contact spoke..."

> > "the rogue nukes were planted across various locations in America, and were set to detonate May 5th 2013..."
> > Testimony of Navy SEAL sniper and explosives expert

If this is true, it makes a May 5th Rapture even more likely. Satan knows how long he has to try to win the Angelic Conflict. He won't waste any time trying to win.

> > This Navy SEAL recently helped intercept, with other military men, nukes that were planted by NWO forces and destined to go off around MAY 5-6, to trigger martial law nationwide...RIGHT HERE IN MONTANA. And there are MORE across this nation.

> > This is the fulfillment of...article written years ago, about "OPERATION RING OF FIRE", in which an insider admitted that one of the final tactics which the NWO forces will use to irrevocably trigger martial law in America, is a series of massive explosions across this nation, forming as it were a RING OF FIRE.

This sounds like something Satan would try to do to keep people left behind from realizing that the First-Trump Rapture had just taken place.

Get ready. Use 1 John 1:9, which says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Sins committed before we accepted Christ were wiped off the books. However, sins committed after accepting Christ as our Saviour need to be confessed.

> > Pray that all these other deadly nukes, planted to trigger martial law THIS YEAR, will be intercepted and neutralized across this nation by the "white hats" or good guys in the military who are against this wicked NWO agenda for our nation. God bless the Patriot military underground! Keep up the good work, guys!" > > "I am not one who thinks that SUDDEN DESTRUCTION WILL COME AT THE TIME OF THE RAPTURE, BUT WE DO NEED TO BE READY, JUST IN CASE. Jesus said, "Watch."

I do not think 1Th 5:1-11 says that sudden destruction will hit believers. What it says about "they" does not apply to "ye" believers.

1Th 5:1-3 says, "But of the times and the seasons, brethren (i.e., believers), ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the DAY OF THE LORD (which is also the day of God's Wrath at the end of the Tribulation) so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when THEY shall say, Peace and safety; then SUDDEN DESTRUCTION cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY SHALL NOT ESCAPE. (That sudden destruction will be when the asteroid Wormwood hits Earth. Then the dead will lay around the world.)

1Th 5:4-11 continues with "But YE, brethren (BELIEVERS), are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation (SOTERIA, rescue [physically or morally], deliverance, salvation (soteria), save, saving). 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 Wherefore COMFORT YOURSELVES together, and edify one another, even as also ye do."

A POST ON FIVE DOVES

"The Temple and Fort Antonia" is a very good and informative read. I am convinced, and have been for many years that what is currently called 'Temple Mount' is non-other than the home of the Roman legion stationed in Jerusalem 'Fort Antonia'. Herod's Temple would most certainly not be built in the middle of a Roman fort. Other Roman forts throughout the world are approximately the same size. The size is necessarily large because of the 10,000 troops who lived and trained there. The fort would not have been destroyed in 70AD by the troops who lived there. The oldest graves of the Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives were in front of the eastern gate of the Temple.

MY REPLY

I have read Ernest L. Martin’s books. They were given to me by a mutual friend. I have studied about the Temple deeply and disagree with his placing the Temple above the Gihon Spring. That spring is a siphon-type karst spring, a reciprocating spring. A karstic cave underground has to fill up with water before the spring runs. So it’s water is on again, off again. That would never do for the Temple waterworks. For the cisterns on the Temple Mount to keep the water pure, the water has to be kept running steadily.

Before I get into this more, take a look at this diagram. It was made by the architect Tuvia Sagiv. He did a tremendous amount of work to arrive at this position. He told the Temple Institute the Temple was between the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque. I made up a packet too and sent it to them agreeing that Tuvia Sagiv was right, and added my reasons.

The red line back of the Holy of Holies is the Wailing Wall. See how the Temple lines up with it. The diagonal lines slanting down to the Temple on the left show where the aquaduct was. There is no way it could have supplied water to the Dome of the Rock from that position. There are no cisterns under the Dome of the Rock, but there are cisterns under the Temple and going east and downhill from there, and because they went downhill, they would have kept the water flowing downhill. A lively bubbling stream purifies itself every 30 feet.

I have explained some of this on my website:
http://prophecycorner.theforeverfamily.com/procon1690.html

The Temple was between the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque, where the Kas Fountain is now. The back of the Holy of Holies lined up with the Wailing Wall.

The sealed aquaduct that brought water from the Etiam spring and Solomon’s Pools had a 100 ft. sealed siphon built in a valley on the way to the Temple. That kept the water pressure up and the water running constantly at the Temple. The aquaduct entered just north of the Wailing Wall and turned southeast. The water cascaded down the hill into several cisterns on the southern part of the Temple Mount. That was a wonderful waterworks for the Temple.

The Temple courts were joined to Fort Antonia by a low wall just south of the rock that is now cut down and under the Dome of the Rock. When it was in Fort Antonia, it was 75 ft. high. To keep people from trying to climb it, they put tiles on the outside of it. There were stairs coming down from Fort Antonia to the Temple court on the north-west corner of the Temple compound. Paul spoke from those stairs.

Also, the Holy of Holies cannot be built with the rock inside the building. The rock diameter is wider than the Holy of Holies. The Temple was never over that rock.

Act 21:30-40 says, "And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut. 31 And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32 Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul. 33 Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done. 34 And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the CASTLE (Fort Antonia was built like a castle with a tower on each of its four corners. The south-east one was taller than the other three so they could see people at the Temple)35 And when he (Paul) came upon the STAIRS, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people. 36 For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him. 37 And as Paul was to be led into the castle Fort Antonia), he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek? 38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers? 39 But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people (i.e., in the court of the Temple). 40 And when he had given him licence, PAUL STOOD UPON THE STAIRS, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, HE SPAKE UNTO THEM IN THE HEBREW TONGUE".

After the Temple was burned in 70 AD, Fort Antonia took over the whole Temple mount. Up until that time, Fort Antonia occupied the northern half of the Temple Mount and the Temple and its courts occupied the southern half of the Temple Mount. Fort Antonia was not destroyed. A legion of soldiers was housed there.

Outside of the northern Fort Antonia wall, on the western corner, was Herod's palace. It too had towers at the four corners.

Martin said,
"Christians are aware of four prophecies given by Jesus in the New Testament that there would not be one stone left upon another either of the Temple and its walls"

Martin made a mistake. Scripture does not include the walls. The Temple itself had all the stones pried apart to get the gold the fire melted.

Mat 24:1,2 says, "And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

Mar 13:1,2 says, " And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. "

Luk 19:43,44 says, "For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. "

Luk 21:5,6 says, "And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

THE "HARAM ESH-SHARIF AND ITS WALLS IN TACT (AS WE SEE THEM TODAY)"

Martin quoted Josephus. The quoted 2nd Paragraph ends with this: "Because Antonia was the property of Rome, they had no reason to destroy those buildings that already belonged to the Romans. That is why Titus left Fort Antonia (the Haram esh-Sharif) and its walls in tact (as we see them today)." "War VII.8,7. Several words and phrases need emphasizing, and I hope I have done so: "And where is now that great city [Jerusalem], the metropolis of the Jewish nation, which was fortified by so many walls round about, which had so many fortresses and large towers to defend it, which could hardly contain the instruments prepared for the war, and which had so many ten thousands of men to fight for it? Where is this city that was believed to have God himself inhabiting therein? it is now demolished to the very foundations, and hath nothing left but THAT MONUMENT of it preserved, I mean THE CAMP OF THOSE [the Romans] that hath destroyed it, WHICH STILL DWELLS UPON ITS RUINS; some unfortunate old men also lie ashes upon the of the Temple [the Temple was then in total ruins — all of it had been burnt to ashes], and a few women are there preserved alive by the enemy, for our bitter shame and reproach.

"What could this Camp of the Romans have been? This is quite easy to discover when one reads the accounts of the war as recorded by Josephus. The main military establishment in Jerusalem prior to the war was Fort Antonia located to the north of the Temple (which is now the Haram esh-Sharif). In my new book "The Temples that Jerusalem Forgot," I will give an abundance of information to show that the Haram was considered Roman property even before the war. Because Antonia was the property of Rome, they had no reason to destroy those buildings that already belonged to the Romans. That is why Titus left Fort Antonia (the Haram esh-Sharif) and its walls in tact (as we see them today)."

Jesus didn't mention the walls, and Josephus said, "its walls in tact". Since Fort Antonia took over the whole Temple Mount, the Romans did not destroy the walls. Agape

INCOMING EMAIL, Re: Ascension Day

I'm confused. Easter Sunday was March 31st this year. Ascension day is 40 days after Easter Sunday. That would make Ascension DAY May 10th this year. In your Post of 4-4-13 you have Ascension Day as being on May 5, 2013. Am I missing something?

MY REPLY

Yes, the Western Protestant churches figure Easter using the Gregorian Calendar that had 10 days dropped when it changed from the Julian to the Gregorian. Their Easter was March 31. The Eastern Orthodox Church uses the Julian Calendar that was used in 30 AD.

In 1947, the Eastern Orthodox tried to update the Julian Calendar, and the Holy Fire did not come on Holy Saturday, the Eve of Easter, as it had for so many years, since the days of Constantine. They went back to using the Julian that was used in 30 AD and the Holy Fire has come every year since. God was in the burning bush, the fire above the Tabernacle and at Mt. Sinai. Therefore, I think Jesus might come from Jesus' grave in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem shortly after 2 PM on Holy Saturday, May 4. The Eastern Orthodox Easter will begin at 6 PM on May 4, Jewish time, and at midnight our time.

Ascension Day starts with Omer 1 on Nisan 16 and Omer 40 falls on Iyar 25. This is not counted from the Western Church's Easter, just on the Hebrew Calendar. It will not be on Sunday again until 2024. The reason it doesn't agree with the Western church's Easter is because they slide their Easter date forward until it falls on a Sunday. So does the Eastern Orthodox. It just happens that this Year Ascension Day falls on Sunday, so it coincides with the Eastern Orthodox Easter.

To the saints, waiting for the soon Return of our Lord Jesus!

1) 'Christian' Feast Days

Sometimes we do look to some 'Christian' Feast Days... hoping the Lord will do a Great Work...

For instance: 'Easter'... Pentcost...'Christmas' - But: do we 'realize' that those days are celebrated often at different 'Christian dates'???

...Remember: there is still a 'Eastern (Orthodox)' and 'Western Church'

2) Easter in the Western and Eastern (Orthodox) Churches

Since the 16th century, there have been differences in the calculation of Easter between the Western and Eastern Churches. The Roman Catholic Church since 1583 has been using 21 March under the Gregorian calendar to calculate the date of Easter, while the Eastern Orthodox continued and continue to use 21 March under the Julian Calendar. The Catholic and Protestant denominations thus use an ecclesiastical full moon that occurs four to five days earlier than the eastern one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computus

'Easter' 2013: Western Churches: March 31 | Eastern (Orthodox) Churches: May 5!

Would you please ponder this: Why should our Lord do a 'Great Work' just on March 31, when 'Easter' is celebrated ...for example in USA, parts of Europe, etc. ??? What about our 'brothers, sisters' in Christ in the Orthodox Church? This year on May 5 they do celebrate Easter - the Resurrection of Christ!

3) The Resurrection of Christ is the central event in the liturgical year of the Orthodox Church

This is amazing!!! :

The Resurrection of Christ is the central event in the liturgical year of the Orthodox Church and is understood in literal terms as a real historical event. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified and died, descended into Hades, rescued all the souls held there through sin; and then, because Hades could not restrain the infinite God, rose from the dead, thus saving the human race. Through these events, Christ released us from the bonds of Hades and then came back to the living as both man and God. According to Orthodox tradition, each human being may partake of this immortality, which would have been impossible without the Resurrection; it is the main promise held out by God in the New Testament.

Every holy day of the Orthodox liturgical year relates to the Resurrection directly or indirectly. Every Sunday is dedicated to celebrating the Resurrection and the triune God. In the liturgical commemorations of the Passion of Christ during Holy Week there are frequent allusions to the ultimate victory at its completion.

Thanks much for that URL. I haven't heard of "hot" water at the time of Noah's Flood before, but it seems reasonable that if the great bulk of the water came from the Asteroid Belt, i.e., Satan's planet that split apart, and rocks came with the water, the rocks would have heated up at our Roche Limit, and heated the water.

It says, "2.In Sanhedrin 108b, both Rebi Yoa?anan and Rav ?isda relate teachings that the Generation of the Flood were punished with scalding water. A baraita interpreted Job 12:5 to teach that the waters of the Flood were as hot and viscous as bodily fluids. And Rav ?isda taught that since it was with hot passion that they transgressed, it was with hot water that they were punished. For Genesis 8:1 says, "And the water cooled" (??????????, yashoku), and Esther 7:10 says, "Then the king's wrath cooled down" (????????, shachachah). (Talmud Bavli Sanhedrin 108b; see also Babylonian Talmud Rosh Hashanah 12a; Zevachim 113b.) cf. Bereishit Rabba 28:9"

6) May 5, 2013 ...5/5

Orthodox Easter - The Resurrection of Christ is the central event in the liturgical year of the Orthodox Church - this year is on May 5 !

May 5 ...5/5 ... 5 means Grace ...doesn't ...5/5 reminds me also to John 5,5 ...

Joh 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

According to some websites May 5 is the Omer Day 38... depending on starting the first biblical month ...when the new moon was sighted in Jerusalem March 13.

On Wednesday March 13, 2013 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was ...first sighted: *from Jerusalem...

7) Is ...John 5, 5 ...?
Joh 5:5
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

Joh 5:6
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Joh 5:7
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

Joh 5:8
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

Joh 5:9
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Is ...John 5, 5 ... a pattern of a "Resurrection" ...a pattern of the Healing of His Church... ???

Remember: Jesus prayed in John 17:

Joh 17:21
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Joh 17:22
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Joh 17:23
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

8) May 5, 2013 in Jerusalem !!!

The pattern: As the New Moon 'has to be sighted ...from Jerusalem ...Israel... the Holy Land'... this will mark the beginning of the Month...

Easter - The Resurrection of Jesus Christ this year ...in Jerusalem! Is celebrated on May 5! Starting on Saturday (Sabbath) May 4...

But ! This year is unique !!!!!

Not only The Orthodox Church...

Also - The Latin!!! Patriarchate of Jerusalem...(Catholics) !!!!!! ad experimentum ... simultaneously... together...

Easter 2013 in the Churches of the Holy Land

On Monday, October 15, 2012, the directive of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land (AOCTS) was published, in regard to the celebration of Easter, according to the Julian calendar. The documents states that in two years, all Latin and Eastern Rite Catholics of the diocese of the Holy Land will adopt the Julian calendar (followed by the Orthodox), after the preparation of the final decree and its approval by the Holy See. The directive leaves to the Bishops of the various Catholic Churches the freedom to choose whether to start the experience in 2013 or begin in 2015.

...The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, in the person of the Patriarch His Beatitude Fouad Twal, has invited all priests of the Diocese of the Holy Land (i.e., Palestine, Jordan, Israel and Cyprus) to adopt the Orthodox calendar. Therefore, Easter will be celebrated May 5, 2013,

...As we read in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, "Because of different methods of calculating the 14th day of the month of Nisan, the date of Easter in the Western and Eastern Churches is not always the same. For this reason, the Churches are currently seeking an agreement in order once again to celebrate the day of the Lord's Resurrection on a common date(Cf. CCC 1170). http://www.custodia.org/default.asp?id=779&id_n=21978

http://en.lpj.org/2012/10/23/latin-patriarchate-will-celebrate-easter-2013-according-to-the-julian-calendar/

2013 Catholics and Orthodox Will in Holy Land Will Celebrate Easter Simultaneously -- Soon in the Whole World?

(Jerusalem) In 2013 Catholics of the Holy Land will celebrate Easter together with the Orthodox on May 5th and not on March 31st. as in the rest of the whole world. In Jerusalem and the other Holy places Easter will be celebrated according to the Julian calendar as the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem reveals.

The Holy See has allowed the various rites the freedom to celebrate with the Gregorian or the Julian calendar. The Catholics Bishops of the Holy Land have thus concluded, in order to strengthen the Christian unity in places, where the son of God was born on earth, lived and died on the cross, to follow the Julian Calendar which the Orthodox Christians also use.

...The Ruling is Valid for 2013 ad experimentum
The decree will be issued ad experimentum only for the year of 2013. In 2014 in any case, the dates for Easter fall on the 20th of April and without any help, together on the same day. Til the year 2015 the Latin Patriarchate and the Holy See will meet for a final ruling. The Catholic Bishops of the Holy Land are prepared to give their agreement to a lasting adoption of the Julian Calendar and have expressed the wish that Rome may grant canonical approval.

Greetings from California and thanks for your post. I love it when I learn something new.

May 5 is Ascension Day. Omer 1 was Nisan 16, Resurrection Day. It also is the Eastern Orthodox Easter Sunday.

Christ may come down to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday shortly after 4 PM. Then Easter will start at 6 PM Jewish time. Ascension Day will not fall on Sunday again until 2024. I think the First-Trump Rapture will be on Sunday.

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."

Rev 1:9-11 says, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion IN TRIBULATION, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was (lit., became) in the Spirit on the Lord's day (SUNDAY), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last"

The Last-Trump Rapture will be on the Day of the Lord (Rev 6:17; 7:14). I think this Rapture will be on Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, The Feast of Trumpets.

If I remember right, it was in 1947 that someone tried to update the Julian Calendar, and no Holy Fire came to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. They went back to using the Julian calendar in use in 30 AD, and the Holy Fire has come on Holy Saturday, the Eve of Easter, every year since.

God was in the burning bush, the fire at night over the Tabernacle, and at Mt. Sinai. I think we have a good chance that Jesus will come up in the Holy Fire that ascends out of the grave about 2 PM May 4, 2013. Easter begins at 6 PM, Jewish time. That timing seems perfect.

I wonder if that is Rainbow Day, because we will arrive then at the planet Saturn with its rings.

It said, "2.In Sanhedrin 108b, both Rebi Yoa?anan and Rav ?isda relate teachings that the Generation of the Flood were punished with scalding water. Gen 8:1 (KJV) says, "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged" (shakak, abate a flood, make to cease, pacify).

However, I am not sure Gen 8:1 says, "and the water cooled."

It said, "The omer count is made starting the evening of each day". Therefore, May 5 starts at 6 PM on May 4.

It said, "You are to count from the end of the rest day (i.e., May 4, Saturday, at 6 PM). From the day you brought the waived Omer-offering, they [the counting] shall be seven complete weeks. Until the end of of the seventh week you shall count fifty days".

It also said, "On the second night of Passover (i.e., Nisan 16, since the Jews call Nisan 15 Passover), the first night of the Omer is counted".

Psalm 67 is read. In the KJV, it says, "God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. 2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. 3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him."
