ANOTHER OF GOD'S WONDERS. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT
A PAPER NAUTILUS OCTOPUS COULD LOOK LIKE THIS?

A POST ON FIVE DOVES, RE: RAPTURE

Randy (27 Jan 2014)
"For Brian Barker.......GOOD POST! Had not seen this Prophecy Before....."

Link: A good read!! http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/jan2014/brianb123.htm

I think, if no Rapture in the next year......2 years....3 years...then 2018, when Israel turns 70, will be important.

But that would mean:
1) The Blood Moons were a bust
2) The build up to war in the Middle East....either, did NOT happen, or it came and went simply and quietly. (Is that even possible??) (Let's face it.....Netenyahu wants to....NEEDS TO....STOP IRAN SOON!!!!! ?????) and
3) Obama left the presidency after 2 terms (Watch the internet for all the hoopla about him staying longer than 2 terms when that gets nearer....UGH!! ) I expect Hillary will be the next president..

But.......I know..... things cold go NUTS in the next 12 months....Israel/Iran/etc, etc...

But......if no Rapture this year.....then 2018 could become very meaningful......read Brian's post.

His post ties in the 400 year reign of the Muslims......1517 to 1917...... (8 Jubilee Years.......50x8-400 years) and then one more Jubilee from 1917 to 1967 and the 6 Day War when Israel took back the Temple Mount....and then....50 more years would take you to when???

2017.......2018 ??? Israel turns 70.

While I don't want to wait another 4 years......IT IS....WHAT IT IS........

IT IS....WHAT IT WILL BE!! Now matter HOW MUCH you/we want it THIS year...... HOPE won't make it come any earlier than God's plans.....(RATS!! lol)

Tick Tock???? YFIC, Randy

PS.......KEEP BRIAN'S POST in case we're all still posting on Five Doves in 12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going to "RATS!!" yet, or ever. I wouldn't change the Lord's schedule if I could. He knows best. It will come out right in the end.

However, I think this is our year. The first Total Lunar Eclipse of the last tetrad to fall on Jewish Feast days this century will be on April 15, the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Jews call this Passover, but Passover is the 14th, Unleavened Bread is on the 15th. The 15th starts at 6 PM on the 14th, and ends at 6 PM on the 15th.

Lev 23:4-6 says, "These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even (i.e., at 6 PM on the previous day) is the LORD'S passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread." Why 7 days? To me, the number 7 means completion and perfection. Why eat unleavened bread? to get ready for the Rapture?

"In the Hebrew, 7 is shevah. It is from the root savah, to be full or satisfied, have enough of. Hence the meaning of the word "seven" is dominated by this root, for on the seventh day God rested from the work of Creation. It was full and complete, and good and perfect. Nothing could be added to it or taken from it without marring it. Hence the word Shavath, to cease, desist, rest, and Shabbath, Sabbath, or day of rest.

"It is 7, therefore, that stamps with perfection and completeness that in connection with which it is used" http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/7.html

The lampstand has 7 lamps. Lighted, they look like the planets do in the night sky. According to Josephus (Ant. III. VI. 7), the lamps stand for 1. Sun, 2. Mercury, 3. Venus, 4. Earth, 5. Mars, 6. Jupiter, and 7. Saturn, our 3rd heaven.

2Co 12:2-4 says, "I (Paul) knew a man in Christ (Paul himself, he didn’t want to boast) above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the THIRD HEAVEN (i.e., Saturn).
2Co 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
2Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into PARADISE, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."

Passover - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover?
"And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD; ... The literal meaning of the Hebrew is 'between the two evenings'". The Feast of Unleavened Bread will start at 6 PM on Nisan 13, but not actually end on Nisan 14. It is to last 7 days, until the 21st. Why?

There is that number 21 several have seen. It is a multiple of 7, the number of completion. Number 21 is completion, completion, completion.

Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv (Nisan), for in that month you CAME OUT OF EGYPT (i.e., meaning black).

A SIGN "THE LORD BROUGHT THEE OUT OF EGYPT"

Exo 13:6-9 says, "Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. 8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt. 9 And it shall be for a SIGN unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD'S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath THE LORD BROUGHT THEE OUT OF EGYPT."

Will the Lord bring us out of this world on Ascension Day and take us to a high mountain apart?

"It is 7, therefore, that stamps with perfection and completeness that in connection with which it is used. Of time, it tells of the Sabbath, and marks off the week of seven days, which, artificial as it may seem to be, is universal and immemorial in its observance amongst all nations and in all times. It tells of that eternal Sabbath-keeping which remains for the people of God in all its everlasting perfection."

The 21st takes us into the countdown of the Omer. Firstfruits, Resurrection Day, is day one. Day 40 was Ascension Day in 30 AD.

ASCENSION DAY, APPEARANCE OF MOSES AND ELIJAH

Act 1:9-11 says, "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men (probably Moses and Elijah) stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

RAPTURE WHEN MOSES AND ELIJAH APPEAR ON MID-TRIB ASCENSION DAY?

Rev 11:1-4 says, "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, RISE (i.e., the Mid-Trib Rapture), and measure the temple of God (we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit), and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses (i.e., Moses and Elijah), and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days (i.e., Great Tribulation), clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks STANDING BEFORE THE GOD OF THE EARTH."

Zec 4:2-14 says, "And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. 11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14 Then said he, THESE ARE THE TWO ANOINTED ONES, THAT STAND BY THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH."

MOSES AND ELIJAH STOOD BY THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH AT THE TRANSFIGURATION AND ON ASCENSION DAY.

Mat 17:1-3 says, "And after six days (i.e., after 6000 years?) Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and BRINGETH THEM UP INTO AN HIGH MOUNTAIN APART, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him."

It seems to me that Jesus acted the Rapture out for us on Ascension Day. As he went up, Moses and Elijah appeared. As for me, I am hoping for the Rapture on Thursday, May 2, 2014. That will be Ascension Day in both Eastern and Western Churches this year. Omer 40 will be on May 25. The reason for the difference is that the churches always celebrate Easter on Sunday, and start the countdown that day instead of Nisan 16. Nisan 14 is Passover. Nisan 15 is Unleavened Bread, and Nisan 16 is Firstfruits.

The Rapture will be when God planned it before the world began, and the Jubilee seems to have been given the Israelites to show us all something we can hang our hats on.

Lev 23:4 "These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Lev 23:5 "In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. Lev 23:6 "And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.".,

The Jubilee year has to follow a Sabbatic Year. The year 5775 is Sabbatic. It divides by 7 equally. Therefore, 5776 could be the Jubilee. It would be announced on the Day of Atonement, 5775, and start Nisan 1, 5776, Sat. April 9, 2016, the anniversary of Jesus' resurrection on April 9, 30 AD.

We will be elevated at the Rapture, as when Jesus took the apostles to a high mountain apart.

Ascension Day, May 29, is also our daughter's birthday. That day was the second day of Pentecost in 30 AD. Our son David's birthday was on Crucifixion Day, April 6 in 30 AD. Ascension Day seems perfect to me. How about you? Agape

INCOMING EMAIL, Re: Days?

How many days exactly was it from the time they arrested Jesus to the time of his death? Also, what was the date of his arrest?

Just curious. Thanks

MY REPLY

Jesus ate the Last Supper on Thursday, was betrayed and arrested on Thursday, crucified on Thursday, died on Thursday, and was buried on Thursday. He arose on Sunday night, which came before Sunday day. There are 12 hours of the night, then 12 hours of the day that we need to account for.

He was arrested on Thursday, April 6, 30 AD, which was Nisan 13, 3790.

I worked years on this. It isn't easy to keep our minds properly oriented. The enemy has done all he could do to keep us from understanding it correctly. There are stumbling blocks in our way. He managed to get the Jews mixed up at the beginning of exile in Babylon. Today, they still keep Nisan 15 as both Passover and Unleavened Bread. Passover is Nisan 14, and Nisan 15 is Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23:4,5).

He has also mixed up the Gentiles. Most of them think the Crucifixion was on Good Friday. It was on Thursday, Nisan 13, 3790, April 6, 30 AD (Julian). Our son was born on April 6, so I have a constant reminder to keep my head screwed on right.

We can't go by our Gregorian Calendar in 30 AD. They used the Julian Calendar then. Also, in the Hebrew Calendar, most of our calendar programs today are off by 2 days in 30 AD. This is because Hillel II put in "rules of postponement" to delay the observance of the Feast of Trumpets to a more convenient day, and they extrapolate the present calendar backwards. To use them, we can add 2 days to the Hebrew date. Or, we can use the correct Torah Calendar at: http://www.torahcalendar.com/

"The current definition of the Hebrew calendar is generally said to have been set down by the Sanhedrin president Hillel II in approximately AD 359."
http://www.tondering.dk/claus/cal/hebrew.php

When does the year begin? There are several types of years. The Civil Year starts Tishri 1. The Sacred Year starts Nisan 1. The Sabbatic Year starts Nisan 1. The Regnal Year starts Nisan 1. The Jubilee Year starts Nisan 1, and I believe that Jesus will return on Nisan 1, 5776, Sat., April 9, 2016, on the anniversary of his resurrection on April 9, 30 AD. The Jubilee year has to follow a Sabbatical Year, and 5775 is a Sabbatical Year. It divides by 7 equally.

"When does a Hebrew year begin?
http://www.tondering.dk/claus/cal/hebrew.php

The first day of the calendar year, Rosh HaShanah, on 1 Tishri is determined as follows:
1.The new year starts on the day of the new moon that occurs about 354 days (or 384 days if the previous year was a leap year) after 1 Tishri of the previous year
2.If the new moon occurs after noon on that day, delay the new year by one day. (Because in that case the new crescent moon will not be visible until the next day.)
3.If this would cause the new year to start on a Sunday, Wednesday, or Friday, delay it by one day. (Because we want to avoid that Yom Kippur (10 Tishri) falls on a Friday or Sunday, and that Hoshanah Rabba (21 Tishri) falls on a Sabbath (Saturday).
4.If two consecutive years start 356 days apart (an illegal year length), delay the start of the first year by two days.
5.If two consecutive years start 382 days apart (an illegal year length), delay the start of the second year by one day.

Note: Rule 4 can only come into play if the first year was supposed to start on a Tuesday. Therefore a two day delay is used rather than a one day delay, as the year must not start on a Wednesday as stated in rule 3.

I found out that astronomy programs are more reliable in Christ's day than the otherwise reliable Calendar Converter at http://www.fourmilab.ch/documents/calendar/

However, even there, when going back to BC years, we have to remember that there is no zero year. Astronomy programs have added a zero year. When I go to YourSky to see how the stars looked on Jesus' birthday, Tishri 1, Sept. 4, BC 5. I have to plug in BC 4 when I want BC 5. The Jews have a good phrase for all of this, "oy veh". It is enough to give us a headache, but we can keep our minds properly oriented if we think about the Hebrew calendar like Jews did in 30 AD, and about the Julian Calendar of 30 AD instead of the Gregorian.

In Calendar Converter, I put in April 6, 30 AD Julian, and clicked Calculate. It gives Nisan 15, 3790, a Common regular 354-day year. That is off by two days. I put in the Hebrew Calendar Nisan 13, 3790, and clicked Calculate. It gives me Tuesday, April 4, 30 AD Julian. It should be Thursday, April 6, 30 AD. To use it, I have to put in Nisan 15, 3790. Then I get the right Julian date for the Crucifixion, Thursday, April 6, 30 AD.

It is easier to use the Torah Calendar, but you still have to think.

Here is the information listed for Nisan 13, Yom Ham-i-shi (i.e., 5th day, Thursday), Wednesday sunset until Thursday sunset, Prepare for the Seder Meal (i.e., PREPARATION DAY FOR PASSOVER), Fast of The Firstborn, Soferim (i.e., Tractate) 21:3, Original Fast of Esther 4:16, 5 Apr 30 C.E. sunset to 6 Apr 30 C.E. sunset, (Julian) Day: 1,466,295.

Google brings this up: "Fast of the Firstborn (Hebrew: ????? ???????, Ta'anit B'khorot or ????? ??????, Ta'anit B'khorim ); is a unique fast day in Judaism which usually falls on Nisan 13, the day before Passover (i.e. the fourteenth day of Nisan)".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_of_the_Firstborn
"Fast of the Firstborn (Hebrew: ????? ???????, Ta'anit B'khorot[1] or ????? ??????, Ta'anit B'khorim[2]); is a unique fast day in Judaism which usually falls on the day BEFORE Passover (i.e.on the thirteenth day of Nisan, a month in the Jewish calendar. Passover always begins on the fifteenth of the Hebrew month). Usually, the fast is broken at a siyum celebration (typically made at the conclusion of the morning services), which, according to prevailing custom, creates an atmosphere of rejoicing that overrides the requirement to continue the fast...Unlike most Jewish fast days, only firstborns are required to fast on the Fast of the Firstborn."

"This fast commemorates the salvation of the Israelite firstborns during the Plague of the Firstborn (according to the Book of Exodus, the tenth of the ten plagues wrought upon Ancient Egypt prior to the Exodus of the Children of Israel), when, according to Exodus (12:29): "...God struck every firstborn in the Land of Mitzrayim (Ancient Egypt)...." The firstborn died unless they had killed a lamb and put its blood on the sides and top of the doorframe of the house.

The Fast of the Firstborn is on Nisan 14, Passover.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_of_the_Firstborn#Meaning_of_the_fast
"the Fast of the Firstborn, like the Fast of Esther (which occurs approximately a month prior), commemorates the salvation of the Jews from the plot of Haman (i.e., Satan). This is because Haman advanced his plot on the THIRTEENTH OF NISAN (Esther, 3:12), and Queen Esther reacted by instructing all Jews of Shushan to undertake a three-day fast beginning on the following day (the fourteenth of Nisan) (ibid, 4:16). For this reason, even some non-firstborns maintain the custom to fast on the fourteenth of Nisan."

The Crucifixion was on Thursday, Nisan 13, 3790 (April 6, 30 AD), when Jesus won the war with Satan. I don't think Satan saw that coming. Jesus is the Messiah. Now, the whole world can be saved.

Joh 3:15 says, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Rom 10:9,10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

It is so easy that everyone in the world could be saved, but I'm sorry to say that there are some who are too obstinate to do it. What do they have to lose? My brother said he couldn't believe in something that he couldn't see. For goodness sake, he believed in electricity, and he couldn't see it. Thank you Lord that he finally accepted you about 2 months before he died. Whew! that is too close for comfort. He could have been killed when he was in Viet Nam. My other brother was killed in Taiwan. He was a believer. My parents were too.

I wrote Pen Pal letters to a GI in Viet Nam, and gave him Bible studies. He just made it. I got his letter that let me know that he had accepted Christ just before we got the message that he had stepped on a mine and been killed. That was too close for comfort. I dreamed that Ed and I were walking up to the huge doorway of a big warehouse type building in Heaven. This boy ran up to me and hugged me, then got lost in the crowd. I saw him one more time when we were inside eating a meal.

My husband Ed died, and he was saved. He accepted Jesus when he was 14, and never went back on it. He died Dec. 27, 2011. On April 2, 2012, he came to see me in his celestial body. I asked him if he was 30 or 33. He said, "33". He was 87 when he died, and couldn't walk. I asked him if he had gotten with his family. He said, "Yes." Then I asked him if he had gotten with my family. He said, "Yes." I am the only one of my family left. I am a strong believer. I asked Ed if we could be together forever. Thank you Lord, he said "Yes."

I'm happy with the way my life is turning out. I said, "Yes" to Jesus and "Yes" to Ed when he asked me to marry him back in 1946. Now, I will get to be with both of them forever. I can't think of anything better.

Ed had prayed for a Christian wife when on a ship coming home from Japan after WW II. The Lord picked me, and had to pull some miracles to get this Indiana girl and Tennessee boy together.

Back to my subject.

Isaiah 53:5 says, "He was pierced for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed."

Joh 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The three-day fast in Esther's day was Nisan 14, 15 and 16, the very feasts that Jesus was in the earth, i.e., fasting. Nisan 14 is Passover, Nisan 15 is Unleavened Bread, and Nisan 16 is Firstfruits. He was resurrected the night that preceded the Feast of Firstfruits.

Lev 23:4-7 says, "These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. 7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein."

We have to think like a Jew IN THOSE DAYS or we will lose a day in our thinking. Twelve hours of night come before twelve hours of the day. Their days started at 6 PM, or sundown, on the previous evening. There were 12 hours of night, then 12 hours of day.

Also, keep in mind that in the original of Lev. 23:5, from 3 PM to 6 PM is called "ben ha arbayim," between the evenings, i.e., when the Sun is going down. Three PM is when the priests started to kill the Lambs at the Temple. Between the evenings was our 3-6 PM on the preceding day.

"The Timing of Passover"
"The Passover has been misconstrued since the time Judah and Benjamin were led away captive to Babylon. From that point in history the Passover has gone through various transformations. As Yahweh designed it, the Passover is a memorial (moed, appointed time) and separate from the Feast of Unleavened Bread, but Judaism later combined the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread into one Feast and this has caused much of the problem among Feast keepers today.

"Note what the Encyclopaedia Judaica says, "The feast of Passover consists of two parts: the Passover ceremony, and the feast of Unleavened Bread. Originally, both parts existed separately; but at the beginning of the [Babylonian] exile they were combined" (vol. 13, p. 169)."

Ex 12:18 (KJV) says, "In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even".

Nisan 14 starts at 6 PM on NIsan 13. Nisan 15 starts at 6 PM on Nisan 14. There are 12 hours of night, then 12 hours of day. Each date has 24 hours.

The priests at the Temple began to kill a large number of lambs at 3 PM. They couldn't kill them all at 6 PM. Then the lambs had to be taken home, roasted and eaten between 6 PM and midnight on Nisan 14. If they waited until Nisan 15 for Passover, as Jews do today, they would have died at midnight on Nisan 14 when they were in Egypt. Midnight is only the 6th hour of Nisan 14, and there are 24 hours in one day."

Exo_12:29 says, "And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle."

Lev 23:4-7 says, "These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even (i.e., Nisan 14 starts at 6 PM on Nisan 13) is the LORD'S passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. 7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein."

They arrested Jesus after the Last Supper, i.e., after 6 PM on Thursday (Nisan 13), crucified him on Thursday, and buried him on Thursday.

IT WAS THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER, THE DAY BEFORE THE FRIDAY PASSOVER (NISAN 14)

Jesus died about 3 PM on the Preparation Day (Nisan 13) of Passover (Nisan 14, see Lev. 23:4,5).

Mat 27:57-62 says, "When the even (i.e., between 3:00 to 6:00 PM) was come (i.e., it arrived at 3 PM), there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: 58: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. 59: And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60: And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. 61: And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. 62: Now the NEXT DAY (PASSOVER, Nisan 14), that followed the DAY OF THE PREPARATION (Nisan 13), the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate"

Mar_15:42,43 says, "And now when the even (i.e., 3 to 6 PM Thursday) was come, because IT WAS THE PREPARATION, that is, the day BEFORE the sabbath (i.e., before Passover, an annual Sabbath, an high day). 43 Joseph of Arimathaea (meaning love; www.wordnik.com/words/Arimathaea?), an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus."

Luk_23:54 And THAT DAY WAS THE PREPARATION, and the sabbath (i.e., PASSOVER WAS A HIGH SABBATH) drew on."

Joh_19:14 says, "And IT WAS THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER, and about the sixth hour (9 AM, Roman time): and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!"

Joh_19:31 says, "The Jews therefore, because IT WAS THE PREPARATION, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an HIGH DAY [i.e., PASSOVER],) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away."

Joh_19:42 says, "There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' PREPARATION DAY; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand."

The date of his arrest was Nisan 13, 3790, Thursday, April 6, 30 AD. He died around 3 PM when the priests started killing the Passover lambs "between the evenings."

Mat_12:40 says, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Joh_11:9 says, "Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world."

Keep in mind that 12-hour nights come before 12-hour days, and that the Last Supper was on Thursday night. The Crucifixion and burial were on Thursday day. Then Jesus was three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Also, you need to know that the Jews counted part of a day as a "day."

"In Jewish communal life part of a day is at times reckoned as one day".

THE THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS

Thursday (day)
Friday (night then day)
Saturday (night then day)
Sunday (night)

TYING UP THE LOOSE ENDS

Mat 28:1 says, "In the end of the sabbath (Saturday), as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week (Sunday), came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre."

Mar 14:1,2 says, "After two days (after Wednesday and Thursday) was the feast of the passover (Friday), and of unleavened bread (Saturday): and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. 2 But they said, NOT ON THE FEAST DAY (i.e., not on Friday [Passover], Saturday [Unleavened Bread], or Sunday [Firstfruits]), lest there be an uproar of the people."

Luk 24:7 says, "The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified (Thursday), and the third day (1. Friday, 2. Saturday, and 3. Sunday) rise again."

Luk 24:20,21 says, "And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. 21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day (Sunday) is the third day since these things were done" (1. Friday, 2. Saturday, 3. Sunday).

Joh 12:1,2 says, "Then Jesus six days (i.e., on Saturday) before the passover (on the following Friday) came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him."

Joh 12:12-15 says, "On the next day (Sunday) much people that were come to the feast (Passover), when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. 14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, 15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt."

Joh 19:14,15 says, "And it was the preparation (Thursday) of the passover (Friday), and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him."

John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (because that Sabbath day was a high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

The Sanhedrin met on Thursday, but not on Feast days or Sabbaths. Thursday was the Preparation of the Passover, not a feast day or a Sabbath.

Nisan is also called Abib, Hebrew for light green. It refers to the colour of barley when it is first ripe and can be used in the offering on Firstfruits.

> > How many days exactly was it from the time they arrested Jesus to the time of his death? Also, what was the date of his arrest?
