MY IMMEDIATE THOUGHT
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Things are escalating fast. However, I hope Israel breaks down those tunnels.
A POST ON FIVE DOVES, RE: Daniel Matson (13 July 2014) "Jerusalem under attack"
Jerusalem is under attack and we should pray for them. One friend shared within the hour that she was heading to the bomb shelter and heard four thuds. Not surprisingly is the following coincidence:
Tonight in Jerusalem is...
Day 600 from Operation Pillar of Cloud. Day 1300 from the start of Arab Spring. Day 1500 from the Gaza Flotilla Incident. Day 2000 from the Cast Lead Cease-Fire. Day 17,200 from winning the Temple Mount on June 7, 1967 during the Six-Day-War. Count the days. Time is short!
"Only a short time remains, it would appear, before the Rapture of the Church at the Last Trump.

What about the first trump? The Laodiceans go up at the last trump, but the Philadelphians go up at the first trump.
Did you notice that there is a first trump and a last trump? I want to go up and become incorruptible at the first trump, and then become immortal at the last trump.
The first trump will probably sound Mid-Trib, when Satan and his fallen angels are cast out of heaven. The last trump will come on the Day of God's Wrath (Rev. 6:17; 7:9-14).
I Thess 4:13-18 is the first trump, when we will become incorruptible, but not yet immortal.
1Th 4:13-18 says, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (phthano, precede) them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
I Cor. 15:51-54 is the last trump, when the saints coming out of the Great Tribulation will become incorruptible, and both groups will become immortal.
1Co 15:51-54 says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
Why could the first trump sound Mid-Trib?
Rev 10:8-11 says, "And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."
Therefore, the "Rise" in Rev. 11:1 is the same as the "come up hither" of Rev. 4:1, when Moses and Elijah arrive Mid-Trib.
Rev 11:1-3 says, "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, RISE (egeiro, lift up), and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."
That 1260 days will be the Great Tribulation, but it will be shortened. Moses and Elijah will then be killed, resurrected, and raptured. That will be the last trump Rapture. The Laodiceans will have washed their robes in the blood of Christ and made them white.
Rev_7:14 says, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
How will they do that? 1Jn 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Rev 11:11-13 says, "And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."
Therefore, the 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 vials all take place in the Great Tribulation, after we are gone, during the time Moses and Elijah are on Earth. They come Mid-Trib, so it looks like we go up as they come down.
At the time of the First-Trump Rapture, the ten kings haven't received their kingdom yet.
Rev 17:12-14 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received NO KINGDOM AS YET; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL."
Rev 13:1 says, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns".Those ten crowns show that this takes place after we are with the Lord, i.e., after Mid-Trib.
Rev 13:5 says, "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months." That is the Great Tribulation. I don't think we will be here then.
Therefore, the beasts of Rev. 13 take their final office after we are gone.
Rev 13:6 says, "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and THEM THAT DWELL IN HEAVEN."
These that are in Heaven seem to have gotten there MID-TRIB.
There are saints, i.e., Laodiceans, left behind at the First-Trump Rapture.
Rev 13:7 says, "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Rev 13:14,15 says, "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should MAKE AN IMAGE (eikon, STATUE) TO THE BEAST, which had the wound by a sword (machaira, knife, dirk, sword), and did live. 15 And he had power to give life (pneuma, a current of air, an angel or demon) unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be KILLED."
That ties in with Mt. 24:15-22. It says, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation (i.e., a statue, an idol), spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place [topos, location, i.e., on the Temple Mount], (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea FLEE into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be SHORTENED, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." INCOMING EMAIL, RE: THE RIDER OF THE WHITE HORSE IDENTIFIED
"And I looked and behold a WHITE horse. He who sat on it had a BOW; and a CROWN was given to him, and he went out CONQUERING and to CONQUER."
This Scripture is describing a RELIGIOUS DECEPTION of a CROWNED rider on the deceptively WHITE horse having a BOW, which is a WEAPON OF WAR without arrows to kill the body, but rather to kill the mind with anti-Christian deception . He is CONQUERING MINDS with anti-Christian false doctrine. He is waging war, in the later years, against the doctrine of Jesus Christ as it is recorded in the Holy Scriptures.
The CROWNED RIDER'S name is C.I. Scofield. His BOW, without arrows, is the Scofield Bible. He has been CONQUERING the minds of ignorant Christians who are being deceived into believing the anti-Christian FALSE DOCTRINE OF THE PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE.
Jesus explicitly states, in His Olivet Discourse, that the rapture will occur as recorded in Matthew 24:31 "AFTER THE TRIBULATION" which He states will occur before the rapture as recorded in Matthew 24:29,
If your mind has been "conquered" by the rider on the white horse into believing the anti-Christian false doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture you had better wake up and repent because "Many are called, but FEW ARE CHOSEN."
2 John 1:9
"Whoever transgresses and does not abide IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST does not have God. He who abides IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST has both the Father and the Son."
Scripturalist for the Lord
How are we saved?
We have to be "born again."
Joh 3:3 says, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
How are we "born again"?
Joh 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Does it say believe in Jesus, and be sure you don't believe in a Pre-Trib Rapture?
Of course not. So we should not put some other condition in there that isn't in Scripture.
Joh 3:17,18 says, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Look up the original word for "BOW". It is toxon, the simplest fabric, cloth. He is a man of the cloth, a religious leader.
In the Gospel in the Stars, King Cepheus (standing for Jesus as King of kings) is holding up a piece of cloth to show that he is a religious leader.
Mat_7:15 says, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
Why does it mention sheep's clothing?
I think it is because the Pope wears a woolen badge of office called a pallium. It used to be a sash, but today, it is circle that drops over the head with a strip of fabric hanging down in front and in the back. There are six embroidered black or red crosses on it.
Here is a picture of the pallium and the Pope's ring.
> > Jesus explicitly states, in His Olivet Discourse, that the rapture will occur as recorded in Matthew 24:31 "AFTER THE TRIBULATION" which He states will occur before the rapture as recorded in Matthew 24:29,
Mat 24:29-31 says, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then (tote, at that time) shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then (tote, at that time) shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
In that passage, the elect are gathered from one end of HEAVEN to the other. They have been raptured prior to this moment, probably in the First-Trump Rapture, MID-TRIB.
Mar 13:24-27 says, "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light (see Rev. 6:12), 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then (tote, at that time) shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then (tote, at that time) shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."
Two things happen. The previously raptured saints are gathered from one end of heaven to the other, and the EARTH is reaped.
This is the Last-Trump Rapture. It takes place on the Great and Terrible Day of God's Wrath.
Rev 6:12-17 says, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?"
THESE COME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION
Rev 7:9-15 says, " AFTER THIS I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God".
> > If your mind has been "conquered" by the rider on the white horse into believing the anti-Christian false doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture you had better wake up and repent because "Many are called, but FEW ARE CHOSEN."
What you believe about the timing of the First-Trump Rapture is not part of being saved.
Joh 3:18 says, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
1Jn 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
It now looks like the First-Trump Rapture of I Thess 4:13-18 will take place Mid-Trib, and the Last-Trump Rapture of I Cor 15:51-54 will take place on the Day of God's Wrath. On that day all saints will be in Heaven. Agape
A POST ON FIVE DOVES, RE: (LAW VS. GRACE
Jim Bramlett (27 July 2014)
"Law vs, Grace"
Probably the most important but least understood subject in the entire Bible is the matter of Law vs. grace.
You surely know about grace. Most churches give at least lip service to it. But most preach a "mixture" of Law and grace. They say, yes, we are saved by grace through faith, but we also must keep the Law, or at least the Ten Commandments, which are only a small part of the Law of Moses. Scholars count about 613 basic laws in the Old Testament. At least one entire Christian denomination is fixated on the Old Covenant.
But like oil and water, Law and grace do not mix. If any Law is involved, then it is not grace. Grace is defined as "unmerited favor." If you can earn even .0001 % of your salvation by law keeping, it is not grace. There is a great danger here. The Bible says, "You who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace" (Galatians 5:4, NKJV). Trusting in the law to save you can cost you your soul. Be careful.
A while back, a popular Christian magazine had a feature article on the grace revolution currently sweeping the world. They called it "hyper-grace." But there is no such thing as hyper-grace. By its very nature, all grace is hyper. This grace revolution is nothing less than God revealing His love in a special way in these end-times and bringing millions of souls into the Kingdom. How can true grace be anything but hyper?
So, because of "mixture," God's people are deprived of the total blessing and marvel of God's amazing grace.
Of those 613 basic laws in the Old Covenant, the Bible says that if you break one, you break them all. Therefore, a person living under the Old Covenant is constantly under condemnation. Yet for the New Covenant believer, "There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).
The key to understanding Law vs. grace is understanding the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. The Old Covenant was in effect until the crucifixion, or some say the Day of Pentecost, when the Spirit was given. I believe the former. Jesus lived under the Old Covenant and many of His teachings reflected the Old Covenant, and were in fact even tougher, such as hating someone being equal to murder, and lust being equal to adultery. He was showing the impossibility of keeping the Law and our need for grace.
The apostle Paul was selected by God to expound on grace and the New Covenant. He said, "I am an apostle to the Gentiles" (Romans 11:13).
The writer of the book of Hebrews said, "In that He says, 'A new covenant,' He has made the first obsolete" (Hebrews 8:13.) God Himself declared that the Old Covenant is obsolete. That is bad news for the legalists, but it was God's idea.
Why was the Law given? "The law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good" (Romans 7:12). Then what is the problem? God says, "The Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor" (Galatians 3: 22-25).
"Well then," Paul wrote, "should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more kindness and forgiveness? Of course not" he says. "Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we became Christians and were baptized to become one with Christ Jesus, we died with him? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." (Romans 6:1-4).
More thoughts on the Law:
"For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. (Romans 6:14).
"The letter (law) kills, but the Spirit gives life." (2 Corinthians 3:6).
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Some may say that emphasis on grace is a license to sin. Wrong, for two reasons. First, we don't need a license to sin! It just comes naturally. Second, grace helps us to overcome sin. Only by grace can we overcome.
The law condemns the best of us, and grace saves the worst of us.
The law demands. Grace supplies.
The Law depends on man and glorifies man. Grace depends on God and glorifies God.
The Old Covenant = Jesus concealed. The New Covenant = Jesus revealed.
The Old Covenant = the New Covenant concealed. The New Covenant = the Old Covenant revealed.
The Ten Commandments: "If the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious" (2 Corinthians 3:7), then….
The New Covenant, "the ministry of the Spirit… (is) more glorious" (2 Corinthians 3:8).
It seems God always does things "legally."
Paul wrote, "Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another— to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God" (Romans7:1-4)..
We have become dead to the law though the body of Christ, and we are married to another -- Jesus! Halleluyah!
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen" (Romans 16:20). Jim
