THE RED HEIFER BRIDGE,
APPROX. 1 K. (.62137 MI.) LONG

JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED EAST OF THE TEMPLE, "AT THE DESCENT
OF THE MOUNT OF OLIVES" NEAR THE MIPHKAD ALTAR

By Marilyn Agee

After writing this, I was delighted to find out that Dr. James Tabor (Prof. of Ancient Religions at the Univ. of NC) has the right idea. Jesus was crucified on the western slope of the Mt. of Olives. He walked the area, which I couldn't.

He said, "The Talmud and Mishnah are clear that this altar was located 2000 cubits, outside the Eastern Gate, on the slopes of the Mt. of Olives (bYoma 68a, mSanhedrin 6:1)." (http://jamestabor.com/2012/07/24/locating-golgotha/)

"Jesus and the other two victims were put on their crosses by 9am Thursday. I have argued that the place of crucifixion was none other than the western slope of the Mt. of Olives directly before the Eastern or "Golden" Gate". (http://jamestabor.com/2013/03/29/jesus-died-on-a-thursday-not-on-friday/)

To me, it looks like Jesus was crucified without the camp, just over 3000 ft. due east from the Temple and something less than 242 ft. below the top of the Mt. of Olives. The priest sacrificing the red heifer had to be able to look over the outer wall, through the Nicanor Gate, and though the front door of the Temple. When the vail in front of the Holy of Holies split, it was seen.

FOUR TYPES OF SIN OFFERINGS WERE BURNED TO ASHES OUTSIDE THE CAMP

"Three of these were killed or slaughtered at the slaughtering arenas within the temple proper, before the presence of the Lord. (Lev 4:4) All three had their blood sprinkled seven times before the Inner Vail before the Holy of Holiest. All three sin offerings had their bodies carried out of the camp to be burned to ashes on the altar outside the camp.

"The first sin offering was a young bullock which was slain for the sins of the high priest. (Lev. 4:3-12) and the final burning was in a clean place outside the camp. The second type of sin offering was also a young bullock which was slain for the corporate community of Israelites, the entire assembly (Lev. 3:13-21)...The third sin offering was on the Day of Atonement in which a young bullock and a goat were carried outside the camp and burned in the entire carcass of the animals. (Lev. 16:27)

"The holiest of all the sin offerings, was the fourth...the Red Heifer... Unlike the other sin offerings, the Red Heifer was walked over to the Altar on the Mount of Olives and there burnt in its entirety. The difference of the red heifer and the other sin offerings is that the other three were absolving sin, giving the recipient freedom from sin or in a sense, salvation. On the other hand, the ashes of the red heifer were to bring holiness....

"The High Priest was forbidden to offer the sacrifice of the Red Heifer. In the same manner and in the same location, only Y'shua, the son of God, and as our High Priest, could offer His life as a 'sin offering' for the entire planet would also be sacrificed 'outside the gate" or "outside the camp". This strongly suggests that the place where the red heifer was slain was also near the site where Jesus was crucified. This was the Holiest area surrounding the city of Jerusalem. (Berakoth 9:5)" (http://www.biblesearchers.com/temples/jeremiah3.shtml)

AT THE MIPHKAD ALTAR, WITHOUT THE SANCTUARY, WITHOUT THE GATE, WITHOUT THE CAMP

Eze 43:21 says, "Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place (miphqad) of the house, without the sanctuary."

Heb 13:10-13 says, "We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. 11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach."

THE ARCHED RED HEIFER BRIDGE, FIRST OF WOOD, LATER OF STONE

Talmud, Parah iii.6 says, "And they would make a causeway from the Temple mount to the Mount of Olives, arches upon arches, an arch directly above each pair, because of the grave in the depths, on which the priest who burns the cow, and the cow, and all those that assist it go forth to the Mount of Olives."

"The Jewish Encyclopedia says "During the administration of Simeon the Just the Red Heifer is said to have been burned twice, and he therefore built two wooden bridges from the Temple mount to the Mount of Olives" (Parah iii. 6; Yer. Shek. iv.2). It appears that Simeon the Just was probably Simeon I (310-21 or 300-270 B.C.)."

"A bridge of stone having two levels was built from the Temple Mount to the House of Immersion on the Mount of Olives, approximately a kilometer (i.e., .62137 mile) long. The first level had arches built upon the ground (arches forming the necessary height of a hollow to protect from a possible grave in the depth). The second level was also built with arches, where each arch was placed upon the arch of the first level." (http://www.golgotha.eu/RedHeifer.aspx)

THE SPACE TO BE KEPT BETWEEN THE PEOPLE AND THE ARK WAS 3000 FT.

When Israel was getting ready to pass over the Jordan into the Promised Land on Nisan 10 (Jos 4:19), Jos 3:4 said, "Yet there shall be a space between you and it (the Ark), about two thousand cubits (i.e., 3000 ft.) by measure: come not near unto it".

The Sanhedrin took a radius of 3000 ft. around the Temple as the camp. Jesus was crucified outside the camp. Therefore, he was crucified on the Mt. of Olives just outside the 3000 ft. mark.

A BULLOCK WAS BURNED AT "THE APPOINTED PLACE (MIPHQAD)" WITHOUT THE CAMP

Lev 4:12 says, "Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt."

Eze 43:21 says, "Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place (miphqad) of the house, without the sanctuary."

THE RED HEIFER WAS SACRIFICED AT THE MIPHKAD ALTAR WITHOUT THE CAMP

The Mishnah Parah 3:6,9 says, "And they would make a ramp from the temple mount to the mount of anointing [the mount of olives], arches on top of arches, and [hollow] domes over the foundations, because of graves of the deep, for on it the priest who would burn the heifer, and the heifer and all its helpers would leave to the mount of anointing....They would tie [the heifer] with a rope of rubber and place it upon the pyre, its head in the South and its face Westward. The priest would stand in the East and his face Westward. He would slaughter...He would immerse [his finger into the blood] and sprinkle seven times in the direction of the holy of holies." (http://www.sefaria.org/Mishnah_Parah.3.9?lang=en&layout=lines&sidebarLang=all)

THE PRIEST BURNING THE RED HEIFER "SAW THROUGH THE GATEWAY OF THE SANCTUARY"

The Mishnah, Middot 2:4 says, "All the walls which were there were high, except the wall in the east, so that the priest who burned the heifer...saw through the gateway of the sanctuary, at the time when he sprinkled the blood."

The gateway of the sanctuary was the bronze Nicanor Gate. Its Corinthian bronze shone like gold, and it was directly in front of the Temple Door between the Court of the Priests and the Court of the Women.

To be able to see through the gateway of the sanctuary when the priest sprinkled the blood, the Miphkad Altar had to be just high enough for the priest to see over the outer wall and through the Nicanor Gate into the Temple door.

That might have something to do with there being 15 semicircular steps just before the Nicanor Gate. They probably lined everything up perfectly. The Nicanor Gate was 50 cubits tall, with doors 40 cubits wide. The temple doorway was 70 cubits tall and 25 cubits wide. People differ on the size of the sacred cubit, but it was at least 18 inches. The huge temple door was at least 105 ft. tall, the Nicanor gate 75 ft. tall.

"The priest (kohen) who burned the heifer had to have the main Temple building clearly in his line of sight (Numbers 19, 4), therefore the bridges and gates between the Mount of Olives and the heichal had to be built so that his vision would not be obstructed. In fact, according to Rashi, the whole eastern wall of the Temple Mount was only six amos (i.e., cubits, or 9 ft.) high (as opposed to the three other walls which were as high as seventy amos) so the kohen could see over (Rashi to Ezekiel 40:5)." (http://www.torah.org/learning/basics/primer/temple/architecture.html)

The "priest was high enough on the Mount of Olives to look over the Eastern Gate." (http://www.lamblion.us/2011/02/biblical-archaeology-temple-mount.html)

THE ASHES OF THE RED HEIFER WERE MIXED WITH WATER AS A PURIFICATION FOR SIN

Num 19:5-9 says, "And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: 6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. 7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. 8 And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even. 9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin."

Water strained through wood ashes produces lye, a caustic cleaning agent that purifies and disinfects. We use it to make soap.

Hyssop has the antiseptic thymol in it. A mold that grows on hyssop produces penicillin. No wonder Psa 51:7 says, "Purge (chata, cleanse, purify) me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow."

Oil from cedar leaves is antimicrobial. Cedar wood oil extracted by steam distillation is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, astringent, insecticidal and fungicidal.

It looks like the Lord's recipe for purification produced an antibacterial soap.

WHAT THE SONGS OF ASCENTS (KJV HAS DEGREES) IN PSALMS 120-134 WERE USED FOR

"In the Holy Temple courtyard, there was an ultra wide stairway that consisted of fifteen large, semi-circular steps that "ascended" into the inner section of the courtyard. The Levites, whose job it was to accompany the Temple service with song and instrumental music, would stand on these steps and sing these fifteen psalms....when they would "ascend" to visit the Holy Temple three times annually for the festivals....

"Two priests stood at the upper gate [the Nicanor Gate] which leads down from the Court of Israel to the Court of Women, with two trumpets in their hands. At cock-crow they blew a sustained, a quavering and another sustained blast. When they reached the tenth step they again blew a sustained, a quavering and another sustained blast. When they reached the Court [of Women] they again blew a sustained, a quavering and another sustained blast".(http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/655450/jewish/What-is-a-Song-of-Ascents.htm)

JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED AND BURIED IN A GARDEN CALLED GOLGOTHA (SEMITIC FORM) AND CALVARY (LATIN FORM) WHERE THE SANHEDRIN COLLECTED THE HALF-SHEKEL POLL TAX NEAR THE MIPHKAD (NUMBERING) ALTAR, WHICH WAS NIGH THE CITY

Mat 27:33-35 says, "And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull (i.e., counting heads), 34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. 35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots."

Joh 19:17-20 says, "And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city".

Joh 19:41 says, "Now in the place where he (Jesus) was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid."

Since the crucifixion was on the preparation of the Passover, Thursday, Nisan 13, 3790, April 6, 30 AD, there would have been a lot of people traveling the road from Jericho to the Temple with their Passover lambs. They would have used the arched causeway.

BETHPHAGE, MEANING HOUSE OF UNRIPE FIGS, WHERE JESUS GOT THE ASS ON PALM SUNDAY, WAS ON OR NEAR THE JERUSALEM-JERICHO HIGHWAY

In the Old Testament, Zec_9:9 says, "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass."

In the New Testament, Mat 21:1-5 says, "And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass."

The exact location of Bethphage in those days is uncertain, but it was considered the outermost edge of the city of Jerusalem. It was also the outer edge of the area in which bread could be baked for use in the Temple.

"The two loaves" (daily offered by the chief priest) "and the show-bread are baked aright either in the court or in Bethphage." (http://biblehub.com/library/lightfoot/from_the_talmud_and_hebraica/chapter_37_bethphage.htm)

SHEWBREAD, MEANING BREAD OF THE FACE, PRESENCE

"The first of these functions, immediately on the commencement of the Sabbath, was the renewal of the 'shewbread.' It had been prepared by the incoming course before the Sabbath itself, and - might almost say, invariably - one of the chambers of the Temple, though, in theory, it was held lawful to prepare it also at Bethphage. For, although it was a principle that 'there is no Sabbath in the sanctuary,' yet no work was allowed which might have been done on any other day. Even circumcision, which, like the Temple services, according to the Rabbis, superseded the Sabbath, was deferred by some to the close of the festive day. Hence, also, if Friday, on the afternoon of which the shewbread was ordinarily prepared, fell on a feast day that required Sabbatical rest, the shewbread was prepared on the Thursday afternoon." (http://philologos.org/__eb-ttms/temple09.htm)

Jesus was crucified on Thursday, the Preparation of the Passover. The shewbread would have been prepared at Bethphage that day.

Joh_19:14 says, "And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!"

BREAD REPRESENTS THE BODY OF JESUS

Joh_6:51 says, "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

Joh_11:26 says, "And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"

Yes. This is true. My Christian husband died Dec. 27, 2011, and visited me in his celestial body April 2, 2012, to let me know we could be together forever.

"THE DESCENT OF THE MOUNT OF OLIVES" ON PALM SUNDAY

Luk 19:29-38 says, "And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, 30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. 31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. 32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. 33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him. 35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. 36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. 37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest."

The Crucifixion was also "at the descent of the mount of olives", not at the top.

Jesus rode the colt into Jerusalem over the Bridge of the Red Heifer. At that time, he would have ridden past the Miphkad Altar, the general area of his crucifixion. He didn't leave us clue less.

Joh 3:16-18 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Heb 1:1-5 says, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high".

Heb 9:11,12 says, "Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."

Heb 9:15-17 says, "And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead".

Heb 9:22-24 says, "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us".

Heb 9:28 says, "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

O daughter of Jerusalem, learn what all this means. Has any other ever done such an unusual thing to announce who he is? This is your king, your Messiah. He rode upon the colt on the first day of Crucifixion Week. Don't miss your signs. You only have one Saviour. His name is Joshua from the Hebrew. He is Y'shua. We call him Jesus. He is the only God/man. He died that you could live. Don't miss your one and only chance to be part of the Bride of Christ. Read what his apostles had to say.

There are two Raptures. One group is the Bride of Christ. The other is the friend of the Bridegroom. Make sure you get in one of those.

Joh_3:29 says, "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled."

No one was saved by obeying the commandments. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23). All are lost, except those that have accepted Jesus as their Saviour.

JESUS ASCENDED FROM BETHANY, SO HE WAS CRUCIFIED, BURIED, RESURRECTED AND ASCENDED FROM THE MT. OF OLIVES, WHICH ALONG WITH THE TEMPLE MOUNT WAS CALLED MOUNT MORIAH

Jesus ascended 40 days after his resurrection, in the presence of eleven apostles.

Luke 24:50,51 says, "And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven."

WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. JOSHUA'S LONG DAY WAS A FORERUNNER OF JESUS' LONG DAY, THE DAY OF GOD'S WRATH, WHICH IS COMING SOON

Jos 10:11-14 says, "And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that THE LORD CAST DOWN GREAT STONES FROM HEAVEN upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword. 12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, SUN, STAND THOU STILL UPON GIBEON; AND THOU, MOON, IN THE VALLEY OF AJALON. 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel."

On Jesus' Long Day, the Lord will not hearken to the voice of a man. On that day, he will become THE KING OF KINGS.

THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN WILL BE SEEN IN THE SKY THAT DAY

Eze 38:23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Mat_24:30 says, "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

144,000 ISRAELITE "SERVANTS OF OUR GOD" WILL BE CAUGHT UP TO HEAVEN THAT DAY

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Rev 7:4 says, "And...there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."

Rev 7:9-15 says, "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb (i.e., Jesus, who died to take the punishment due those that accept him as their own personal Saviour), clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands...These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them."

IT'S DECISION TIME, THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD IS APPROACHING

Joe 2:1,2 says, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations."

Zec 14:1-5 says, "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah".

THESE THINGS WE CAN BE SURE OF: BEASTS WERE "BURNED WITHOUT THE CAMP" FOR SIN OFFERINGS WHERE THE ASHES WERE POURED OUT, THE RED HEIFER WAS BURNED FOR PURIFICATION AT THE MIPHKAD ALTAR ON THE WESTERN SLOPE OF THE MT. OF OLIVES, AND JESUS "SUFFERED WITHOUT THE GATE" BUT "NIGH TO THE CITY"

Jesus was crucified near the Miphkad Altar. That area was chosen by the Lord, and was the holiest area facing Jerusalem. It was "nigh to the city", but "without the camp". It was facing and within view of the door of the Temple.

Miphkad means numbering (as in the census) and APPOINTED PLACE. The spiritual meaning of the Gate Miphkad means THE PLACE.

Eze 43:21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the APPOINTED PLACE (miphqad) of the house, without the sanctuary."

THE MIPHKAD ALTAR (APPROXIMATE PLACE OF THE CRUCIFIXION) WHERE THE RED HEIFER WAS BURNED, WAS OUTSIDE THE CAMP, SO IT WAS JUST OVER 3000 FT. FROM THE TEMPLE

Miphkad means an appointment, and this altar, appointed by the Lord himself, seems to be near the true location of the Crucifixion, and just as the head of the red heifer faced the Temple, it looks like Jesus faced the Temple.

There have been nine red heifers offered so far, and Israel looks for another. Maimonides said that "the tenth red heifer will be accomplished by the king, the Messiah." The Temple Institute also says that the tenth red heifer will be prepared by the Messiah.

However, those nine red heifers looked forward to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus. To me, no other red heifer is necessary. Jesus took the place of the tenth red heifer.

The general area where the red heifer was sacrificed was called Miphkad, because this seems to be the location where the Sanhedrin took the census for the Temple tax. Miphkad literally was the place of "counting heads". It was also where the Sanhedrin kept the genealogical records. The place of registry near the Miphkad Altar was also called "Golgotha".

Joh 19:16-20 says, "Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city".

There were lots of people present. They were on the road from Jericho heading for the Temple with their Passover lambs.

WHEN JESUS DIED EAST OF THE TEMPLE, JUST OUTSIDE THE CAMP, THE CENTURION AND ALL THE PEOPLE SEEM TO HAVE SEEN THE VEIL OF THE TEMPLE TEAR

Mat 27:50-54 says, "Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God."

Mar 15:37-39 says, "And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. 38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. 39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God."

Luk 23:45-47 says, "And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple (which was 80 ft. tall and 24 ft. wide) was rent in the midst. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. 47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man."

The only place outside the camp that the tearing of the veil could be seen from was on the west side of the Mt. of Olives, at the descent of the Mt. of Olives. It could not be seen from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which was west of the east-facing Temple.

It was dark, otherwise they would have been blinded by the setting sun as they looked west.

WHY WAS THE WATER CONTAINING THE ASHES OF THE RED HEIFER SPRINKLED ON THE UNCLEAN ON THE THIRD DAY AND THE SEVENTH DAY?

Num 19:19 says, "And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even."

The third day could tie in with the First-Trump Rapture (I Th 4:16,17) Mid-Trib, and the seventh day could tie in with the Last-Trump Rapture (I Cor 15:51-54) at the end of the shortened Great Tribulation.

In "The End of Days," Gershom Gorenberg wrote that "The last ashes of the last heifer ran out sometime after the Romans razed the Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70." http://www.eternalgod.org/q-a-9014/

That would make sense. We can turn to Jesus now. We don't need the ashes of the red heifer.

After the First-Trump Rapture, the temple of the Holy Spirit will be in heaven.

2Co_6:16 says, "ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

As long as we are here, we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. The literal Temple cannot be built.
