PENTECOST, THE JUBILEE OF DAYS IN 66 AD, SEEMS TO HAVE PLAYED OUT
THE RAPTURE FOR US IN THE JUBILEE OF YEARS COMING IN 2016 AD

The Mid-Trib Rapture was played out for us when the Christians, including the disciples, fled to Pella,
meaning defensible citadel on a cliff, representing heaven, on Pentecost,
3.5 years before the Temple was burned in 70 AD.

JESUS WARNED THE DISCIPLES AHEAD OF TIME

Luk_21:20-22 says, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS; and let them which are in the midst of it DEPART OUT; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."

IN THE PREVIEW OF THE MIRACLE PLAY, "THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST", JOHN PLAYED OUT THE MID-TRIB RAPTURE ON "THE LORD'S DAY", SUNDAY

Rev 1:9-11 says, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion IN TRIBULATION, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos (i.e., meaning mortal), for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was (lit., became) in the Spirit ON THE LORD'S DAY (i.e., Sunday), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last".

TWO FEASTS ARE ON SUNDAY, FIRSTFRUITS AND PENTECOST

Lev 23:15-17 says, "And ye shall count unto you FROM THE MORROW AFTER THE SABBATH, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering (i.e., Firstfruits); seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto THE MORROW AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. 17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD."

The Lord took the Old Testament saints to heaven on Firstfruits Sunday in 30 AD, and will probably take the New Testament saints to heaven on Pentecost Sunday, June 12, 2016, Sivan 6 in the Jubilee Year 5776.

Pentecost, the feast of harvest when they all went up to Jerusalem, is the Jubilee of Days, and 5776 is the Jubilee of Years.

Col 2:16,17 says, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME; but the body is of Christ."

Pentecost is the only feast where there is the countdown of the omer, a measure for wheat, and the church is called wheat.

Enoch, the first to be caught up to heaven, was raptured on his birthday, Sivan 6, suggesting that the church will be raptured on its birthday, Sivan 6. He was caught up before Noah's Flood, just as we will be caught up before the world is destroyed by fire when Satan's asteroid Wormwood impacts Earth and destroys Babylon near the Euphrates River.

THE ENOCH/PENTECOST CONNECTION

"I have had a book for a long time called "The Lost Books of The Bible and The Forgotten Books of Eden". This book contains many books that were not considered scripture when the Canon of books of the Bible were put together....

"The book called "The Secrets of Enoch" in this collection is where I found the reference to Enoch being born on Sivan 6 and being taken into heaven alive on Sivan 6, which is the same day as Pentecost. It's in the 68th chapter of the Secrets of Enoch...

"Enoch was born on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, and lived three hundred and sixty-five years.
2. He was taken up to heaven on the first day of the month Tsivan and remained in heaven sixty days.
3. He wrote all these signs of all creation, which the Lord created, and wrote three hundred and sixty-six books, and handed them over to his sons and remained on earth thirty days, and was again taken up to heaven on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, on the very day and hour when he was born.

"There it is brothers and sisters. Pentecost could very well be the day we are redeemed by Jesus."

MOSES ASCENDED MT. SINAI ON SIVAN 6, PENTECOST, WHEN HE WAS GIVEN THE LAW

Heb 10:1 says that the law is "a shadow of good things to come". That Pentecost could have been a shadow of the First-Trump Rapture. The first trumpet of the Bible was sounded by the Lord at Mt. Sinai (from the Sanskrit Sani, Saturn).

RUTH AND BOAZ, HER KINSMAN REDEEMER, WERE PROBABLY ENGAGED ON PENTECOST

The night she lay at his feet he had been winnowing barley. It was the last of the barley harvest. The wheat harvest could have begun the next day.

OUR FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE MAY TURN OUT TO BE PENTECOST SUNDAY, JUNE 12, 2016, IN THE JUBILEE YEAR

That might be about 1040 days before the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ on April 18, 2019, Thursday, Nisan 13, 5779, the anniversary of the Crucifixion on April 6, 30 AD, Thursday, Nisan 13, 3790.

Dan 8:14 says, "Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed" (1260 + 1040 = 2300 days).

KEEP IN MIND THAT JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED ON THURSDAY, NISAN 13, THE "PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER" (Joh 19:14)

He died at 3 PM as the passover lambs were starting to be killed in the Temple so the people could have them roasted and eaten before midnight on the Passover, Nisan 14. If they ate them on the 15th, as some say, their firstborn would have died at the previous midnight.

Joh 19:14-19 says, "IT WAS THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where THEY CRUCIFIED HIM".

WHY WERE TWO LOAVES WAVED TO THE LORD ON PENTECOST? COULD THE TWO LOAVES INDICATE TWO FULFILLMENTS OF PENTECOST?

Maybe one loaf represented the beginning of the Philadelphian Church Age, when the Holy Spirit descended to indwell believers. Perhaps the other loaf represented its end, the First-Trump Rapture, when Christ will descend to take believers to Heaven.

Lev 23:15-17 says, "And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering (i.e., Firstfruits, Resurrection Day); seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days (i.e., a jubilee of days); and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. 17 Ye shall BRING OUT OF YOUR HABITATIONS (i.e., as in the Rapture) two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD."

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN AT THE TIME OF THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE ON PENTECOST

I think the betrothal takes place at Pentecost, but the Marriage of the Lamb, and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, must take place in Heaven after the Judgment Seat of Christ, which follows the Last-Trump Rapture.

Heb 12:18-27 says, "For ye are not come (i.e., on Pentecost) unto the mount that might be touched (i.e., Mt. Sinai), and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: 20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: 21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion (i.e., Heaven), and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and TO THE SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that SPEAKETH FROM HEAVEN: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, YET ONCE MORE I SHAKE NOT THE EARTH ONLY, BUT ALSO HEAVEN. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken (i.e., Satan and his angels), as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain."

SATAN IS CAST OUT OF HEAVEN MID-TRIB WHEN WE ARE CAUGHT UP TO HEAVEN

Rev 12:9-14 says, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time (i.e., during the Great Tribulation), from the face of the serpent."

Dan 12:1 says, "And at that time (i.e., Mid-Trib) shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble (i.e., the Great Tribulation), such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and AT THAT TIME THY PEOPLE SHALL BE DELIVERED, EVERY ONE THAT SHALL BE FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK."

There are two Raptures, one Mid-Trib (I Th 4:16,17), the other on the Day of God's Wrath at the end of the Great Tribulation (I Cor 15:51-54).

"THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD" JESUS ANNOUNCED WAS THE JUBILEE YEAR 28 AD

Near his 30th birthday, Tishri 1, in 27 AD, Jesus "came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place (i.e., Isa. 61:1) where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luk 4:16-19).

Today, the acceptable year of the Lord seems to be 2016, and the First-Trump Rapture on Pentecost a bit before Mid-Trib. The Hebrew 5775 (2014/2015) is a Sabbatical Year. It divides by 7 equally. The year 5776 (2015/2016) is the Jubilee.

The Church was born on Earth on Pentecost, and I think it will be born into Heaven on Pentecost, probably June 12, 2016. This agrees with Song of Solomon 2:10f and Isa 18:3f. It is the time of firstripe grapes.

Moses and Elijah will come on the day of the First-Trump Rapture. Their 1260-day reign will be cut short, because the Great Tribulation will be shortened or no flesh would be saved.

"COME UP HITHER" AND "RISE" REPRESENT THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE

Rev 10:10,11, John said, "And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

Therefore, the "RISE" in Rev. 11:1 is the same as the "COME UP HITHER" of Rev. 4:1. It is the First-Trump Rapture.

Rev 11:1-3 says, "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, RISE (the 'Come up hither' of Rev. 4:1), and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months (i.e., but the Great Tribulation is to be shortened). 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."

Moses and Elijah are caught up in Rev. 11:12-15. It says, "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

WE ARE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE WHEAT HARVEST

Jas_1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."

Luk_22:31 says, "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat".

Mat_13:30 says, "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

Luk_3:17 says, "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable."

JESUS WARNED THE DISCIPLES TO FLEE JERUSALEM AHEAD OF ITS DESTRUCTION IN 70 AD)

They fled on Pentecost in 66 AD.

In Luk 21:20-22, he said, "WHEN YE SHALL SEE JERUSALEM COMPASSED WITH ARMIES, THEN KNOW THAT THE DESOLATION THEREOF IS NIGH. 21 THEN LET THEM WHICH ARE IN JUDAEA FLEE to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it DEPART OUT; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."

THE DISCIPLES SETTLED IN PELLA

In "The Panarion of Epiphanius of Salamis" 29:7:8 (c 374 -376), The Bishop of Salamis wrote, "...all the disciples had settled in Pella after their remove from Jerusalem-Christ having told them to abandon Jerusalem and withdraw from it because of the siege it was about to undergo." A TREMENDOUS FIGURE WAS SEEN IN THE CLOUDS; ON PENTECOST A VOICE SHOUTED "WE CROSS OVER FROM HERE; AND THE SHEKINAH GLORY REMAINED OVER THE MT. OF OLIVES 3.5 YEARS"

"Pseudo-Hegesippus, in Chapter 44, wrote: "Also after many days ?a certain figure appeared of tremendous size, which many saw, just as the books of the Jews have disclosed, and before the setting of the sun there were suddenly ?seen in the clouds chariots and armed battle arrays, by which cities of all Judaea and its territories were invaded. Moreover in the celebration itself of the PENTECOST the priests entering the interior of the temple at night time, that they might celebrate the usual sacrifices, assered themselves at first to have a ?felt a certain movement and a sound given forth, afterwards even to have heard shouted in a sudden voice "WE CROSS OVER FROM HERE."?

Other "Jewish writings state that the Jews had come to recognize that the Shekinah glory of God left the Temple at this time [AD 66] and remained over the Mount of Olives for 3.5 years. During this period a voice was heard to come from the region of the Mount of Olives asking the Jews to repent of their doings (Midrash - Lam. 2:11). This has an interesting bearing on the history of Christianity because we know that Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected from the dead on the Mount of Olives -- the exact region the Jewish records say the Shekinah glory of God remained for the 3.5 years after its departure from the Temple on Pentecost, AD66. The Jewish reference states that the Jews failed to heed this warning from the Shekinah glory (which they called "Bet Kol", the voice of God), and that it left the earth and retreated back to heaven just before the final seige of Jerusalem by the Romans in AD70." "The Jewish people called the glory that filled Solomon's and Herod's Temple the Shekinah, whose root word means "to dwell" or "to tabernacle." This glory was manifested as a "supernatural light" that symbolized YEHOVAH God's presence among men! This Divine light became visible as it shone between the Cherubim over the Mercy Seat and the Ark of the Covenant. It was this "light" that the Jewish historian Josephus mentions in War VI, 290. He states that a great light shone over the altar in the Holy of Holies for thirty minutes at 3 o'clock in the morning (a week before Passover in 66 A.D.) and then departed."

"Just before the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D., a number of historians relate how YEHOVAH's Shekinah Glory (which dwelt inside the Holy of Holies in Herod's Temple) left the sanctuary, travelled through the East Gate and hovered over the Mount of Olives for three and a half years. Eusebius, early church historian of the third and fourth centuries, writes:

"Believers in Christ congregate from all parts of the world, not as of old time because of the glory of Jerusalem, nor that they may worship in the ancient Temple at Jerusalem, but...that they may worship at the Mount of Olives opposite to the city, whither the glory [the Shekinah Glory] of the LORD migrated when it left the former city (Proof of the Gospel, Bk. VI, Chap.18).

"Similarly Jerome (almost a hundred years after Eusebius) acknowledges that the Cherubim carried the Shekinah Glory from the Temple to a spot near the summit of the Mount of Olives -

"Here also [the Mount of Olives] ...the Cherubim after leaving the Temple founded the Church of the Lord (Letter CVIII.12).

"A Jewish rabbi by the name of Jonathan, who was an eyewitness to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., said the Shekinah Glory left the Temple and for three and a half years --

"abode on the Mount of Olives hoping that Israel would repent, but they did not; while a Bet Kol [a supernatural voice from heaven] issued forth announcing, Return, O backsliding children [Jer. 3:14]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you [Mal. 3:7]. When they did not repent, it said, I will return to my place [in heaven] [Hosea 5:15] (Midrash, Rabbah Lamentations 2:11)." THE BLACK STONE AND THE SCARLET THREAD WARNINGS CONTINUED DURING THE 40 YEARS FOLLOWING THE CRUCIFIXION IN 30 AD

Lev 16:8 says, "And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat."

"The Babylonian Talmud shows that, for two hundred years before 30 A.D., the first stone to appear in the right hand of the high priest randomly fluctuated each year between the white and black stone....But, beginning with the Day of Atonement in 30 A.D. (the year of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ), the black stone appeared in the right hand of the high priest for the next 39 years....

"On the Day of Atonement, a scarlet wool thread was placed on the door of the sanctuary. It was said that this thread turned white when the live goat was set free. But, beginning on the Day of Atonement in 30 A.D., this thread never turned white again. See Yoma 39b, Babylonian Talmud and pages 166, 170 Mishnah, by Danby.

"Clearly, the failure of the scarlet thread to turn white was another sign of God's disapproval of Israel's worship of him and their impending punishment if they did not repent. See Isa.1:18." (http://www.bibleresearch.org/articles/a11pws.htm)

MIRACULOUS SIGNS THAT CAME TO THE PRIESTS IN 66 AD STARTED JUST BEFORE PASSOVER AND ENDED WHEN THE GREAT MULTITUDE LEFT THE TEMPLE ON PENTECOST

In Wars VI. V. 3, Josephus, a Pharisee priest, wrote, "Thus were the miserable people persuaded by these deceivers, and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend, nor give credit, to the signs that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation, but, like men infatuated, without either eyes to see or minds to consider, did not regard the denunciations that God made to them. Thus there was A STAR RESEMBLING A SWORD, WHICH STOOD OVER THE CITY, AND A COMET (i.e., Halley's Comet, closest in March), THAT CONTINUED A WHOLE YEAR. Thus also before the Jews' rebellion, and before those commotions which preceded the war, when the people were come in great crowds to the feast of unleavened bread, on the eighth day of the month Xanthicus, [NISAN,] and at the ninth hour of the night (i.e., 3 AM), SO GREAT A LIGHT SHONE ROUND THE ALTAR AND THE HOLY HOUSE, THAT IT APPEARED TO BE BRIGHT DAY TIME; WHICH LIGHT LASTED FOR HALF AN HOUR. This light seemed to be a good sign to the unskillful, but was so interpreted by the sacred scribes, as to portend those events that followed immediately upon it. At the same festival also, A HEIFER, AS SHE WAS LED BY THE HIGH PRIEST TO BE SACRIFICED, BROUGHT FORTH A LAMB IN THE MIDST OF THE TEMPLE.

"Moreover, THE EASTERN GATE of the inner [court of the] temple, which was of brass, and vastly heavy, and had been with difficulty shut by twenty men, and rested upon a basis armed with iron, and had bolts fastened very deep into the firm floor, which was there made of one entire stone, was seen to be OPENED OF ITS OWN ACCORD ABOUT THE SIXTH HOUR OF THE NIGHT (i.e., about midnight). Now, those that kept watch in the temple came hereupon running to the captain of the temple, and told him of it; who then came up thither, and not without great difficulty was able to shut the gate again. This also appeared to the vulgar to be a very happy prodigy, as if God did thereby open them the gate of happiness. But the men of learning understood it, that the security of their holy house was dissolved of its own accord, and that the gate was opened for the advantage of their enemies. SO THESE PUBLICLY DECLARED THAT THE SIGNAL FORESHOWED THE DESOLATION THAT WAS COMING UPON THEM. Besides these, a few days after that feast, on the one and twentieth day of the month Artemisius, [IYAR], a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared: I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sunsetting, CHARIOTS AND TROOPS OF SOLDIERS IN THEIR ARMOR WERE SEEN RUNNING ABOUT AMONG THE CLOUDS, AND SURROUNDING OF CITIES. Moreover, at that feast which we call PENTECOST, as the priests were going by night into the inner [court of the] temple, as their custom was, to perform their sacred ministrations, they said that, in the first place, THEY FELT A QUAKING, AND HEARD A GREAT NOISE, AND AFTER THAT THEY HEARD A SOUND AS OF A GREAT MULTITUDE, SAYING, "LET US REMOVE HENCE."

OTHER ANCIENT REPORTS

In Histories, Book 5, 3, Tacitus wrote, "There had been seen hosts joining battle in the skies, the fiery gleam of arms, the temple illuminated by a sudden radiance from the clouds. The doors of the inner shrine were suddenly thrown open, and a voice of more than mortal tone was heard to cry that the Gods were departing. At the same instant there was a mighty stir as of DEPARTURE."

In A Mediaeval History of Ancient Israel, Sepher Yosippon wrote, "For one year before Vespasian came, a single great star shining like unsheathed swords was seen over the Temple. And in those days when the sign was seen it was the holiday of Passover and during that entire night the Temple was lit up and illuminated like the light of day, and thus it was all seven days of the Passover (i.e., actually Unleavened Bread). All the sages of Jerusalem knew that it was a malevolent sign, but the rest of the ignorant people said that it was a benevolent sign....

"Now it happened after this that there was seen from above over the Holy of Holies for the whole night the outline of a man's face, the like of whose beauty had never been seen in all the land, and his appearance was quite awesome.

"Moreover, in those days were seen chariots of fire and horsemen, a great force flying across the sky near to the ground coming against Jerusalem and all the land of Judah, all of them horses of fire and riders of fire. When the holiday of Shavu'oth (i.e., PENTECOST) came in those days, during the night the priests heard within the Temple something like the sound of men going and the sound of men marching in a multitude going into the Temple, and a terrible and mighty voice was heard speaking: 'LET'S GO AND LEAVE THIS HOUSE.'"

"Pseudo-Hegesippus, in Chapter 44, wrote: "Also after many days a certain figure appeared of tremendous size, which many saw, just as the books of the Jews have disclosed, and before the setting of the sun there were suddenly seen in the clouds chariots and armed battle arrays, by which cities of all Judaea and its territories were invaded. Moreover in the celebration itself of the PENTECOST the priests entering the interior of the temple at night time, that they might celebrate the usual sacrifices, assered themselves at first to have a felt a certain movement and a sound given forth, afterwards even to have heard shouted in a sudden voice "we cross over from here."

"Jewish writings state that the Jews had come to recognize that the Shekinah glory of God left the Temple at this time [AD 66] and remained over the Mount of Olives for 3.5 years. During this period a voice was heard to come from the region of the Mount of Olives asking the Jews to repent of their doings(Midrash - Lam. 2:11). This has an interesting bearing on the history of Christianity because we know that Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected from the dead on the Mount of Olives -- the exact region the Jewish records say the Shekinah glory of God remained for the 3.5 years after its departure from the Temple on Pentecost, AD66. The Jewish reference states that the Jews failed to heed this warning from the Shekinah glory (which they called "Bet Kol", the voice of God), and that it left the earth and retreated back to heaven just before the final seige of Jerusalem by the Romans in AD70." WAS THIS "THE DEPARTURE OF THE SHEKINAH GLORY OF GOD"?

In "Josephus' history of Pentecost", by Lou Hodapp, he said, "After 30 minutes which had the brilliance of daylight, the light then removed itself from the site of the Temple! THIS WAS THE DEPARTURE OF THE SHEKINAH GLORY OF GOD - the light that had been present throughout the whole period of the wilderness journeys of Israel. But there was one problem with the situation of this Temple. It was no longer a portable Tabernacle! When God left, this meant that the Temple was being abandoned leaving behind an "empty dwelling place" of God....

"Within a week after the great light of the shekinah glory was illuminated and 'taken up', we now find the massive gate being opened up of its own accord. The Temple was thrown open for destruction.

"The final miraculous sign was even more to the point and occurred precisely on PENTECOST day. It was revealed to the combined body of 24 priests who represented the Aaronic priesthood. Here is Josephus' description of this event:

"Moreover, at the festival which is called PENTECOST, the priests on entering the inner court of the Temple at nightfall, as their custom was in the accomplishment of their ministrations, stated that they first became aware of a commotion and a roar, and after that the voice of a great multitude saying 'WE ARE DEPARTING HENCE" (War, VI,299).

"This was interpreted as the time that the Deity Himself was then leaving the Temple as the two previous signs had shown He would. (The fact that the supernatural voice said "We" rather than the singular "I" was no problem to the first century Jews. They were well aware of the uniplural "Elohim" used in Genesis for God.)

"Remarkably, JEWISH RECORDS SHOW THAT WHEN GOD'S SHEKINAH GLORY DEPARTED THE TEMPLE, IT REMAINED OVER THE MOUNT OF OLIVES FOR THREE AND A HALF YEARS. DURING THOSE YEARS, A VOICE WAS PERIODICALLY HEARD COMING FROM THE REGION OF THE MOUNT OF OLIVES PLEADING FOR THE JEWS TO REPENT OF THEIR WAYS. THE JEWS FAILED TO HEED THIS WARNING FROM THE VOICE, AND THE SHEKINAH GLORY LIGHT LEFT THE EARTH AND RETREATED BACK TO HEAVEN JUST BEFORE THE FINAL SIEGE OF JERUSALEM BY THE ROMANS IN A.D. 70." SOON AFTER THE WAR STARTED IN CAESAREA IN 66 AD, THE CHRISTIANS FLED JERUSALEM AND WENT TO PELLA

"The war between Rome and Judea broke out in Caesarea in 66 A.D., when Greeks sacrificed birds in front of the Jewish synagogue there, leading to a violent riot. The Jews in Jerusalem rebelled and staged a successful attack on the Roman garrison in Jerusalem. The Roman legate of Syria, Cestius Gallus, marched to Jerusalem to attack it, but after initial resistance, his nerve failed him and he ordered a retreat. Roman armor was not designed for fighting a retreating battle in difficult terrain, and Jewish pursuit turned the retreat into a rout, with nearly the entire Roman twelfth legion being destroyed....this defeat convinced the Romans of the seriousness of the Jewish revolt. Around this time, the Christian community in Jerusalem evacuated to Pella in Jordan. Eusebius states: "But the people of the church in Jerusalem had been commanded by a revelation, vouchsafed to approved men there before the war, to leave the city and to dwell in a certain town of Perea called Pella." In Wars XX. 1, Josephus wrote, "AFTER this calamity had befallen Cestius, many of the most eminent of the Jews swam away from the city, as from a ship when it was going to sink."

CONCLUSION

It looks like the Christian's flight to Pella on Pentecost 3.5 years before Jerusalem was destroyed prefigured the Mid-Trib Rapture before the destruction at the end of the shortened Great Tribulation.

Rev 12:9-14 (KJV) says of Mid-Trib, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now (arti, just now) is come salvation (soteria, rescue, deliverance, salvation, i.e., THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE), and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser (i.e., Satan) of our brethren (i.e., the wise-virgin group) is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they (i.e., the wise-virgins) overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, YE HEAVENS, AND YE THAT DWELL IN THEM (i.e., the Mid-Trib Rapture has just taken place). Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time (i.e., the shortened Great Tribulation). 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman (i.e., Israel) which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place (i.e., Petra, which means rock), where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time (i.e., 3.5 years, DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION), from the face of the serpent."
