INCOMING EMAIL, RE: THIS PROPHECY IS FULFILLED !

Daniel 9:27 (King James Bible)
"He shall make it desolate."

The word "it" means 'land of Israel' , and the word "desolate" means 'deserted'. This prophecy was fulfilled 2,000 years ago by the dispersion of the Hebrew people, from out of the land of Israel, into the nations making "Israel desolate", or deserted, subsequent to their rejection and crucifixion of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The land of Israel remained "desolate", or deserted, for 2,000 years until May 14, 1948 when God restored the Jews, once again, to their covenant land as a nation.

Therefore the "he" in Daniel 9:27 is the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ, Himself . To say otherwise is blasphemy !

I just got home from the hospital yesterday. I had a small stroke, couldn't figure out how to turn the microwave on, couldn't even see the right panel, couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV, didn't remember that we had a remote control. Got my senses back the next morning after being on blood thinner during the wee hours. I was lucky. Thank you Lord. The one thing I still did when I left the hospital was calling Aleve Sweta. I got that straight in my head this morning after a good night's sleep. I slept very little in the noisy hospital.

> > the "he" in Daniel 9:27 is the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ, Himself .

No it isn't Jesus, it is the False Prophet. Nothing is to "be poured upon" Jesus at the end of the Tribulation. You should know that he has nothing to do with "the overspreading of abominations".

Dan 9:26,27 says, "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off (i.e., Jesus was crucified in 30 AD), but not for himself (i.e., for us): and the people (i.e., the Romans) of the prince that shall come (i.e., the False Prophet) shall destroy the city (i.e., Jerusalem) and the sanctuary (i.e., the Temple, in 70 AD); and the end thereof shall be with a flood (i.e., a tsunami, when an asteroid hits the Mediterranean Sea, Rev. 8:8), and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he (i.e., the Roman False Prophet) shall confirm the covenant (beriyth, league) with many for one week (i.e., one week of years): and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK (i.e., Mid-Trib) HE SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, AND FOR THE OVERSPREADING OF ABOMINATIONS HE SHALL MAKE IT DESOLATE, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Gabar, the word translated confirm, means to act insolently or strengthen. Jesus does not act insolently. He is not the one that will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. The False Prophet will do that. Also, Jesus will not cause the overspreading of abominations. Neither will Jesus have "that determined" poured upon him. He is not "the desolate".

Calling Jesus "the desolate" is sacrilegious.

Who is the desolate?

2Th 2:1-4 says, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ (i.e., should be day of the Lord, as in the Siniatic, Vaticanus, and Alexandrian Codices) is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (i.e., should be DEPARTING, as in all English Bibles before the KJV, i.e., the First-Trump Rapture) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (i.e., the FALSE PROPHET); 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; SO THAT HE AS GOD SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, shewing himself that he is God."

To me, the desolate is the False Prophet. Agape

P&C 1867 Question

I'm a big fan, been reading you for years, bought your books back in the day, and want to thank you for your tireless efforts in illuminating Scripture. You're a great blessing to me, particularly in my advancing years. Question:

In P&C1867 you quote Matt 24:20 and in parentheses after the word "flight" you suggest a number of synonyms for flight including "First Trump Rapture". The verse (and those around it) warns to pray that your flight doesn't come in the winter or on the sabbath. If, as you suggest, we use "First Trump Rapture" instead of "flight", the verse becomes a warning to pray that the First Trump Rapture not come in the winter or on the Sabbath. I don't understand this. Any help here would be much appreciated. Thanks again

MY REPLY

Thanks. I try hard. Talk about advancing years. I'll be 87 soon. Ed went to heaven when 87. So did my dad. I hope I will be raptured when 87.

I think the Rapture will turn out to be on Pentecost, which should always be kept on Sunday. Next Pentecost will be Sunday, June 12, 2016, Sivan 6, 2016. That is not in winter or on the Sabbath, but it will be in the Jubilee Year. I can't think of a better time for the Rapture.

Isa 18:3-6 mentions winter. It says, "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign (i.e., the UN flag) on the mountains (i.e., kingdoms); and when he bloweth a trumpet (i.e., on a feast day), hear ye. 4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. 5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and THE SOUR GRAPE IS RIPENING IN THE FLOWER (i.e., that fits June and spring, summer starts June 21) the shall both cut off the sprigs (i.e., with fruit) with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches (i.e., with no fruit). 6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall SUMMER upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall WINTER upon them."

Song 2:10-13 says, "My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. 11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; 12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (lit., turtledove, in Israel from April to October) is heard in our land; 13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the TENDER GRAPE give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away." Agape

Luke 19:42

> > " O, if thou hadst even known , in the least in this THY DAY (Nisan 10) those things which belong unto thy peace!"

Luke 19:42 is talking about Palm Sunday, Nisan 9, the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey.

Nisan 10, 3790 was Monday, the day Jesus cursed the fig tree and purified the Temple.

Luk 19:35-42 says, "And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. 36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. 37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. 41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes."

Sat. Nisan 8, 3790, April 1, 30 AD, Jesus arrived at Bethany
Sun. Nisan 9, April 2, Palm Sunday
Mon. Nisan 10, April 3, cursed fig tree and purified Temple
Tue. Nisan 11, April 4, fig tree dried up, Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse
Wed. Nisan 12, April 5, Jesus anointed for burial
Thu. Nisan 13, April 6, Jesus crucified on the Preparation of the Passover
(Mat 27:62; Mar 15:42; Luk 23:54, John 19:14,31,42)
Fri. Nisan 14, April 7, Passover, first day since
Sat. Nisan 15, April 8, Unleavened Bread, second day since
Sun. Nisan 16, April 9, Resurrection of Jesus

Luk 24:7 says, "The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."

Luk_24:21 says, "to day is the third day since these things were done."

I can't see a good reason that the Lord would have picked Nisan 10, when he cursed the fig tree, for the Rapture. To me, Pentecost, Sivan 6, the birthday of the Church, seems more likely.

Act 2:1-4 says, "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

That sounds like a better day to me. There came a sound from heaven, and the trump of God will sound on the day of the Rapture.

1Th 4:16-18 says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Nisan 10 is not a festival. Pentecost is a harvest festival.

According to Talmudic tradition, Enoch, which means teacher, was raptured on his birthday, Sivan 6.

H.L. Ginzberg, wrote in "The Legends of the Jews", that according to Israels's oral tradition, Enoch was raptured--taken to heaven on the very day of Pentecost."

Gen 5:24 says, "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

Boaz, the kinsman redeemer, married Ruth, the gentile bride, around the time of Pentecost too.

To me, it seems reasonable to think the church will be raptured on its birthday, Pentecost.

Since he Spirit began to dwell in the Church on Pentecost, it makes sense to me that he will quicken our mortal bodies by that Holy Spirit that dwells in us on Pentecost. Agape

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Nisan 10 which was four days before Passover on Nisan 14 to fulfill the prophecy of the Lamb of God which was selected four days before Passover.

MY REPLY

To me, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, not Palm Monday.

Let's count backward from Resurrection Day.

Jesus arose on Sunday, the first day of the week, the Feast of Firstfruits.

Mar_16:9 says, "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene."

1Co 15:20 says, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."

Therefore the Feast of Firstfruits, resurrection day, was on Sunday, Nisan 16.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread was on Saturday, Nisan 15.
The Feast of Passover was on Friday, Nisan 14.
The first day before Passover was on Thursday, Nisan 13.
The second day before Passover was on Wednesday, Nisan 12.
The third day before Passover was on Tuesday, Nisan 11.
The fourth day before Passover was on Monday, Nisan 10.

Therefore, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey on Palm Sunday, Nisan 9. Agape

Saturday, Nisan 8, was six days before Passover.

Joh 12:1,2 says, "Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany".

Palm Sunday, Nisan 9, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem, was five days before Passover.
Monday, Nisan 10, the lambs were selected four days before Passover.

Exo 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:"

Tuesday, Nisan 11, was three days before Passover.
Wednesday, Nisan 12, was two days before Passover.
Thursday, Nisan 13, was one day before Passover.
Friday, Nisan 14, was Passover.

Exo 12:6 says, "And ye shall keep it (i.e., the lamb) up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening."

Hebrew days start at 6 PM of the preceding date. Twelve hours of night precede twelve hours of day. When Israel was in Egypt, the lambs had to be roasted and eaten before midnight on Nisan 14 or their firstborn would have died. That was only 6 hours after Nisan 14 started.

Therefore, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Sunday, Nisan 9. The lambs were chosen on Monday, Nisan 10. Agape

Counting backwards :Jesus was in the tomb for three days and three nights before He resurrected on Sunday, which is the first day of the week. Sunday began after sunset on the Saturday Sabbath the evening before. . For Him to be in the tomb for the required three full days He entered the tomb on Wednesday Passover evening just before sunset which was the same day he was crucified. Wed sunset to Thu sunset = day #1, Thu sunset to Fri sunset = day #2. Fri sunset to Sat sunset = day #3 .Four days before He was crucified on Passover Wednesday Passover Nisan 14 He rode into Jerusalem on Saturday Nisan 10.

The Catholic church change the Day of Palms to Sunday for their services purposes. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath . He rode into Jerusalem on Saturday Sabbath Nisan 10 which was four days before He was crucified on the following Passover Wednesday Nisan 14 to fulfill the prophecy of the Lamb of God selected four days before it was sacrificed. The day of Passover is the preparation day for the Feast of Unleavened Bread which begins the next day on Nisan 15 which begins at sunset on Nisan 14. That is why they hurried to place Jesus in the tomb before sunset on Passover the 14th . Jesus began His three days in the tomb on the first three days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Capt. Bruce

Luk_24:21 says, "But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day (i.e., Sunday) is the third day since these things were done."

Third day since was Sunday.
Second day since was Saturday.
First day since was Friday.

The Crucifixion was on the "preparation of the passover", Thursday.

Joh_19:14-16 says, "And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away."

The Sanhedrin did not meet on Sabbaths or Feast Days.

The words "three full days" are not in the Bible. To the Jews, part of a day counted as one day.

"In Jewish communal life part of a day is at times reckoned as one day".

The Crucifixion was on the Preparation of the Passover.

Mat_26:5 says, "But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people."

Mar_14:2 says, "But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people."

Joh_18:28 says, "Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover."

Jesus was crucified on Nisan 13, 3790, April 6, 30 AD. Since our son David was born on April 6, I have studied the Crucifixion Day in depth for many, many years.

Mat 12:40 says, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

2nd day was Friday.
2nd night was Friday night.
3rd day was Saturday.
3rd night was Saturday night.

Mat 27:62-64 says, "Now the next day (i.e., Friday), that followed the day of the preparation (i.e., Thursday, Crucifixion Day), the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days (i.e., Thursday, Friday, Saturday) I will rise again (i.e., on Sunday). 64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first." SCRIPTURAL ANALYSIS OF DANIEL 12:7 (King James Bible)

Daniel 12:7
".................that it shall tarry for a time, times and a half; And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."

"that it" refers to Daniel's 70th week

"shall tarry" means it will be delayed

"a time, times, and a half" means three and one-half years remain in Daniel's 70th week

"when he" refers to Jesus Christ

"shall have accomplished" means to complete His mission

"to scatter the power of" means to dissipate the will of them to reject Him

"the holy people" means the Hebrew people through which Jesus was born into the world

"all these things" means the 'six things' listed in Daniel 9:24 that Jesus set out to accomplish at the beginning His 70th week ministry

"shall be finished." means Jesus will complete His mission during the future 3 1/2 year last-half of the 70th week of Daniel

> > "to scatter the power of" means to dissipate the will of them to reject Him

It is even stronger than that. The word "scatter" is in the original naphats. It is Strong's 5310, "A primitive root; to dash to pieces, or scatter: - be beaten in sunder, break (in pieces), broken, dash (in pieces), cause to be discharged, dispersed, be overspread, scatter."

Daniel 12 starts out Mid-Trib, when Michael stands up, as in Rev. 12. It ends 1335 days later, when Daniel will stand in his own lot in Israel.

> > "the holy people" means the Hebrew people through which Jesus was born into the world

The end of verse 7 says, "and when he shall have accomplishedH3615 to scatterH5310 the powerH3027 of the holyH6944 people,H5971 allH3605 theseH428 things shall be finished.H3615

Strong's H6944, qodesh, says, "From H6942; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstractly sanctity: - consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (X most) holy (X day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary."

To me, the so-called "holy people" just may suggest the people loyal to the False Prophet. It is their power that is to be broken at the end of the Great Tribulation.

Rev 19:2,3 says, "For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever."

Rev_19:20 says, "And the beast (i.e., Antichrist) was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image (eikon, statue). These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

Images are the signs of false religion.

Rev 2:18-29 says, "And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel (Iezabel, a synonym of a false teacher), which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery (i.e., join) with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
