Gorgeous halo around the Moon
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars (lit., constellations)...And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" (Luke 21:25,28).
February 18, 2003: They hover on the edge of space. Thin, wispy clouds, glowing electric blue. Some scientists think they're seeded by space dust. Others suspect they're a telltale sign of global warming.
They're called noctilucent or "night-shining" clouds (NLCs for short). And whatever causes them, they're lovely.... The clouds consist of tiny ice crystals about the size of particles in cigarette smoke. Sunlight scattered by these crystals gives the clouds their characteristic blue color....
...After all, the Moon itself is a very old piece of Earth....
April 22, 2003: Three years ago, something weird happened to the Sun.
Normally, our star, like Earth itself, has a north and a south magnetic pole. But for nearly a month beginning in March 2000, the Sun's south magnetic pole faded, and a north pole emerged to take its place. The Sun had two north poles.
"It sounds impossible, but it's true," says space physicist Pete Riley of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in San Diego. "In fact, it's a fairly normal side-effect of the solar cycle." Every 11 years around solar maximum, the Sun's magnetic field goes haywire as the Sun's underlying magnetic dynamo reorganizes itself. The March 2000 event was simply a part of that upheaval....
"The south pole never really vanished," notes Riley. It migrated north and, for a while, became a band of south magnetic flux smeared around the Sun's equator. By May 2000 the south pole had returned to its usual spot near the Sun's southern spin axis--but not for long. In 2001 the solar magnetic field completely flipped; the south and north poles swapped positions, which is how they remain now....
...Using a supercomputer named Blue Horizon and data from spacecraft (especially NASA's ACE and ESA-NASA's Ulysses) Riley and colleagues are studying how these complex changes can affect our planet. "The Sun's magnetic field permeates the entire solar system," explains Riley. "It interacts with Earth and is the primary driver of space weather."
The vast region of space filled by the Sun's magnetic field is called the heliosphere. All nine planets orbit inside it. But the biggest thing in the heliosphere is not a planet, or even the Sun. It's the current sheet--a sprawling surface where the polarity of the Sun's magnetic field changes from plus (north) to minus (south). "We call it the 'current sheet,'" says Riley, "because an electrical current flows there, about 10-10 amps/m2." The filament of an ordinary light bulb carries sixteen orders of magnitude (1016x) more amps/m2. But what the current sheet lacks in local amperage, it makes up in sheer size. The sheet is 10,000 km thick and extends from the Sun past the orbit of Pluto. "The entire heliosphere is organized around this giant sheet."
25 One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: "Teacher, what must I do to receive eternal life?" 26 Jesus replied, "What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?" 27 The man answered, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" 28 "Right!" Jesus told him. "Do this and you will live!" 29 The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30 Jesus replied with an illustration: "A Jewish man was traveling on a trip from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes and money, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road. 31 "By chance a Jewish priest came along; but when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by. 32 A Temple assistant walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side. 33 "Then a despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt deep pity. 34 Kneeling beside him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with medicine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him. 35 The next day he handed the innkeeper two pieces of silver and told him to take care of the man. 'If his bill runs higher than that,' he said, 'I'll pay the difference the next time I am here.' 36 "Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?" Jesus asked. 37 The man replied, "The one who showed him mercy." Then Jesus said, "Yes, now go and do the same."
Jesus also said in Matthew 12:11, "If you had a sheep, and it fell into a well on the Sabbath, wouldn't you get to work and pull it out? Of course you would. And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, it is right to do good on the Sabbath." It is the Spirit of the Word, it is the 'WHOLE COUNSEL OF HIS WORD, and the application of His Word that we walk in the light and become the salt of the earth. It is God's love for the World that He would raise up a Nation's to yield His sword to free the oppression of the Iraqi people from the likes of Saddam's evil government.
What the Iraqi people's do with their new liberation is another matter of their choosing amid the counsel of the froward and perverse leadership of the Nations now waiting in the wings. What the world should realize is that Iraq and the Middle East 's problems cannot and will not be resolved politically or through religious tolerance. At the very heart of the matter, the conflict is spiritual...not religious nor political. There is a BIG difference between 'spiritual' and 'religious' as those with eyes and ears that see and hear know well. At the heart, it is a confrontation between the God of Heaven and the god of this world (Satan) whose confrontation is coming to a soon climatic ending.
Keep watching and publishing while those with eyes and ears receive SIGHT and HEAR what the spirit tells us. Agape'
I stumbled across your website after doing a Google search for: SARS "beginning of sorrows"
Appreciate feedback on the following email.... Sincerely, a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Thursday, Mar. 27,2003 - I believe that the Scriptures not only support but require the current war in Iraq:
I believe you need to put yourself in the shoes of the Iraqi people suffering under that well-documented monster Saddam Hussein (murderer and liar (John8:44), among other things). As Jesus Christ says (Matthew 7:12): "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."
The so-called civilized world having allowed them to suffer for an additional 12 years since Saddam "promised" to disarm-that is the evil.
I thank The Lord Jesus Christ for who i believe are His leaders (especially President George W. Bush, his father,Vice President Dick Cheney,Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld,Attorney General John Ashcroft, Tony Blair, and many others). I am somewhat awed at their patience.
Have been taught that one needs to obey 2Timothy3:16-17: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." [i.e., for any given topic, go thru The Word of God from Genesis1:1 to Revelation 22:21]. As The Holy Spirit teaches.
Then, if called to speak up, obey James1:19: "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." Sincerely, a disciple of Jesus Christ, Ron Romanczuk
Gen 9:5,6: "surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."
Ecc 3:8, 8:11: A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace....Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Mat 7:12: Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Rom 13:1-5: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
Jam 2:13-17: For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
1Peter 2:13-14: Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
If there was no punishment of evildoers, evil would mushroom and overcome the world. What happens when police power is non-existant? Right away, people break in and steal. Nebuchadnezzar was Saddam's idol. He saw himself as destined to be king of the world. What would happen if he was not stopped?
Bible prophecy will be fulfilled, even if the streets of the world are filled with protesters. One shouldn't set himself against God. We are not in control, God is. Rev. 13:10 says, "he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." Agape
The last half of the 7 years is shortened. In Mat 24:22. Jesus said, "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Agape
My view: I know God has used war for his purposes but I am not God or like God or know his will in all things. I believe my guiding in these matters must also come from and be patterned after Jesus not just the God of the old testament. The instructions I read in the bible for my life are based on love not judgment [Mat 5:44, 7:1, 12:31]. The exception being sin. I see no mention that war is an exception for me. We are not advised to enter into any conflict unless it is with the spiritual powers of evil. My war is with the devils' spiritual forces and my own spirit not men, evil or good [Eph 6:12].
Even Jesus avoided conflict when Peter used his sword [Mat 26:52]. But how can this be our example in conflicts of war? I don't think it can be. I believe the will of the Father has priority over our own will and only Jesus knew with absolute surety what that will was at precisely the right time. I think we are like Peter(human), we defend God even when he can defend himself and us. God may be using our government to complete his plans but as a Christian I see no way I can personally participate in planning a war except to submit to our leaders as instructed in the bible [Tit 3:1]. Our leadership has a great responsibility to our country and it's citizens and must rule and judge by human standards. Our judgment must be righteous [Jon 7:24, 8:15]. I submit to God first. Even though I do not approve of war I also submit and support our leaders in LOVE not in hate or in extreme protesting. From A Heart of Love, Rod Sowers
Num 10:1-4 says, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly (Heb. 12:23), and for the journeying of the camps (i.e., at the two Raptures). And when they shall blow with them (both), all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes (elders), which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee." When the elder John is caught up to Heaven in Rev. 4:1, all the 24 elders and the Bride of Christ will be caught up. The 24 elders are the 12 patriarchs of Israel and the 12 apostles of Israel. All 24 are seen crowned and seated on their thrones in Heaven in Rev. 4:4.
Pentecost seems most likely for the first trump. I am convinced that the Pre-Wrath Rapture will be on the Feast of Trumpets that begins the 1000-year reign of Christ. That Rapture will take place before the asteroid of Rev. 8:8 impacts the Mediterranean Sea at noon (Zeph. 2:3-5) on the first day of the Millennium.
Pentecost (Sivan 6,7) is the Jewish Feast that became the birthday of the Church. Since the Church/Bride of Christ was born into this world on Pentecost, I think the most likely time for the Bride of Christ to be born into a new world is Pentecost.
Israel was at Mt. Sinai on Pentecost. In Ex. 19:4, the Lord said, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself." The Israelites started out on Passover, Nisan 14, and arrived at Sinai in Sivan. Since they traveled on foot, "how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself" is symbolic. I think it looks forward to the Rapture.
Isa 40:31 ties in. It says, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Israel walked and didn't faint, but we will actually be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This shows that Pentecost could have a double fulfillment. The two wave loaves offered on Pentecost show double fulfillment too.
The first trumpet of the Bible was not sounded by man. It was caused to sound by God at Sinai. Ex. 19:16,17 says, "it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God."
That first trumpet portrays the first "trump of God" in I Thess. 4:16. The first trump sounds at the first Rapture. The "last trump" of I Cor. 15:51,52 sounds to call up the Tribulation saints just before the Wrath of God strikes Earth.
Ex. 19:19,20 says, "when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up." Moses means saved out of the water, reminding us of the days of Noah, which definitely tie in with the Rapture (Mt. 24;37).
I think going up Mt. Sinai represents going up to Sani (Sanskrit for Saturn). Ex. 24:10 says, "they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a SAPPHIRE STONE, and as it were the body of heaven (i.e., heavenly body) in his (its) clearness."
Eze. 1:26-28 ties in. It says, "above the firmament (expanse of space) that was over their heads (i.e., farther out in space than the terrestrial planets) was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a SAPPHIRE STONE: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (Christ) above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber (Saturn is golden with amber bands on it), as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins (the equator) even upward, and from the appearance of his loins (the equator) even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness (Saturn's rings) round about. As the appearance of the bow (rainbow, caused by sunlight on ice crystals) that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about."
Enoch (meaning teacher, dedicated, disciplined, well regulated) and the days of Noah (rest) are types of the Pre-Trib Rapture.
Enoch was a prophet (Jude 1:14). He was caught up because he walked with God. Gen. 5:14 says, "Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." There is a tradition that Enoch was caught up to God on his birthday, Sivan 6, which is now Pentecost.
Of the days of Noah, in Mt. 24:37-40, Jesus said, "as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man (Jesus Christ) be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
Noah (Gen. 7:17) was floated up by the water, which is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ (Rom. 8:9). In another type of the Rapture, the wise virgins (Mt. 25:10) had enough oil (also a symbol of the Spirit of Christ) to go with the Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) when he came.
Heb 11:5 says, "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." Since he pleased God, Enoch is like the wise virgins. They too please God.
The seas were troubled 40 days and nights in Noah's day, then they calmed. Isa. 57:20,21 says, "the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." The wicked of those days died before the waters calmed.
There is something else we should understand about the sea. In Noah's day the sea roared, and there was distress of nations. In Rev. 13:1, the Beast comes up out of the SEA. Rev. 17:15 explains that "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and NATIONS, and tongues." Luke 21:25 says, "there shall be signs (which we have had) in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars (lit., constellations); and upon the earth distress of NATIONS, with perplexity; the SEA and the waves roaring."
Here, the sea represents nations, i.e., the United Nations. The waves probably represent individual nations. At the present time, we certainly have distress of nations, perplexity, the UN and individual nations roaring.
Luke 21:28 says, "when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption (the Rapture) draweth nigh.
We have just had another sign in the constellations. On March 29, there was the tremendous gamma ray burst, GRB 030329. It outshone the entire universe in gamma rays. Two hours later, it still was over a trillion times as bright as our Sun. Significantly, the GRB was in Leo, which stands for Jesus Christ as king, the Lion of the Trib of Judah.
Ten days later, on April 8, a star exploded. Supernova 2003dh was in the same spot that the GRB had been. This was the first time astronomers have ever been able to predict a stellar explosion. This time, two astronomers thought the huge GRB would be followed by a supernova, and it was.
Since Resurrection Day, the Feast of Firstfruits, has already passed, the next feast is Pentecost. It always comes in the spring. The parable of the fig tree in Mt. 24:32-34 (also Mk. 13:28-33) hints that the "kingdom of God" (Luke 21:29-31) is nigh when "summer is nigh." This year, Pentecost is June 6 and 7 (Sivan 6 and 7). Summer will come June 21. It seems significant that Israel took the temple mount on June 7, 1967. We are the temple of the Spirit of Christ (Rom. 8:9). Will he take us up on June 7, 2003? I sure hope so.
Song of Solomon 2:10-14 seems to tell us that the Rapture will be on Pentecost in the spring. It says, "My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away (i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture). For, lo, the winter is past, the rain (the latter rain of Nisan) is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth (spring wild flowers are now blooming, even in the Negev); the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (turtledove, which arrives in April) is heard in our land; The fig tree (Israel) putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell (He is the vine; we are the branches, John 15:5). Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock (i.e., in Christ, I Cor. 10:4), in the secret places of the stairs."
Leave out the added words "of birds" and "places." This is the singing of the "new song" of Rev. 5:9 and the secret of the stairs. Like Jacob's ladder, these stairs reach from Earth to Heaven.
In John 15:5, Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." The branches with fruit represent the Bride of Christ.
Isa. 18:3-6 suggests Pentecost for the Rapture of the branches with fruit. It seems to shout, "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign (flag) on the mountains (nations, i.e., the UN flag); and when he (the LORD) bloweth a trumpet (the first 'trump of God,' I Thess. 4:16), hear ye. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider (nabat, see, look at with pleasure) in my dwelling place (Heaven) like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For afore (i.e., in the spring) the harvest (the vintage is in Elul and Tishri, in the summer), when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower (time of Pentecost, in the spring), he shall both cut off the sprigs (having fruit) with pruning hooks, and take away (i.e., catch the wise virgins up to Heaven in the Rapture) and cut down the branches (i.e., cut off the foolish virgins that have no fruit). They (the foolish virgins) shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains (nations), and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them (i.e., after the spring Rapture), and all the beasts of the earth (including the Beast and the False Prophet) shall winter upon them."
Jesus had no words of condemnation for the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. They will be among the overcomers that are to be raptured. In Rev. 2:10, Jesus said to Smyrna, "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." In 30 AD, Jesus ascended ten days before Pentecost. Is there a correlation between these ten-day periods?
The Holy Spirit returned on Pentecost. The Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God are the same as the Spirit of Christ. Rom 8:9 says, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."
Since the Spirit of Christ returned to the Church on Pentecost, Christ himself might return to rapture the Church on Pentecost.
The Smyrna and Philadelphia messages are alike in that Jesus mentioned the blasphemy of some that call themself Jews, and are not. In Rev. 2:9, he told Smyrna, "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan." In Rev. 3:9, he told Philadelphia, "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."
Why 2003? It seems to me that we are running out of time. One generation from the Sign of the End of the Age (when Israel grew leaves in the Six-Day War of 1967) is 2007. The Great Tribulation is to be shortened, but it can't be zero days. If the Rapture is June 7, 2003, the Great Tribulation would only be 300 days.
At Sinai, the people were to wash their clothes and be ready on the third day. Exo 19:10,11 says, "the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, And be ready against the third day: FOR THE THIRD DAY THE LORD WILL COME DOWN in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai." The word for day is yowm. It can mean a variety of times, even a year. If the third day represented the third year, 2003 is the third year of the new century.
The "wars and rumours of wars" of Mt. 24:6 sure fit these days. It says, "ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: SEE THAT YE BE NOT TROUBLED: FOR ALL THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS." Jesus said to "Watch." He didn't say to go out in the streets and demonstrate against war. These wars and rumours of wars "must come to pass." We should leave the driving to Him and just watch.
The Peace Covenant will be strengthened. The Roadmap shows the way. We've had another sign. It doesn't seem that we will be here very much longer. Agape
