Incoming email, Re: a question

From: Paul - paul-net@excite.com

I was wondering if you'd like to engage in a friendly debate. I am Jewish and frequently discuss subjects ranging from the messiah to sin atonement to the nature of God etc.

If you're interested, here is a question I am proposing:

How do you reconcile the fact that Jesus was not conceived by Joseph thereby disqualifying him from being from the Davidic bloodline? Mary's lineage is irrelevant because tribal affiliation is only passed through the father. Jesus could not possibly claim messiahship through adoption, since only a physical "seed" of the Davidic line was entitled to the throne.

I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on this matter. Thank you, Paul

My reply

The Lord set up the decent of Yeshua haMachiach through the woman. All the lengthy arguments favored by some Jews that like to debate cannot change it. There is no use getting bogged down in details.

In Gen 3:15, the Lord said, "I will put enmity between thee (Satan) and the WOMAN, and between thy seed and HER SEED; it (HER SEED, YESHUA) shall bruise thy head (Satan's), and thou (Satan) shalt bruise his (YESHUA'S) heel" (i.e., when YESHUA was nailed to the cross).

Only the woman's genealogy in Luke 3:23-38 counts. The Mashiach must be THE SEED OF THE WOMAN.

In Zech 12:10, the LORD (YHWH, YAHWEH) says, "I will pour upon THE HOUSE OF DAVID, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME (YAHWEH) WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED (he was in Yeshua at the Crucifixion), and they shall mourn for him (YESHUA), as one mourneth for HIS (YAHWEH'S) ONLY SON (YESHUA, LORD OF HOSTS), and shall be in bitterness for him".

Prov 30:4 asks, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is HIS NAME (YAHWEH), and WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME (YESHUA, LORD OF HOSTS), if thou canst tell?"

Ex. 15:3 says, "The LORD is a man of war: the LORD (YHWH, YAHWEH) is HIS NAME ."

De. 6:13 says, "Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and SHALT SWEAR BY HIS NAME (YHWH, YAHWEH, not Adonai)." De. 10:20 says, "Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and SWEAR BY HIS NAME (YHWH, YAHWEH)." Psa 29:2 says, "Give unto the LORD (YHWH, YAHWEH) the glory due unto HIS NAME." Psa 34:3 says, "O magnify the LORD with me, and let us EXALT HIS NAME together." Psa 96:8 says, "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto HIS NAME: bring an offering, and come into his courts." Psa 105:1 says, "O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon HIS NAME: make known his deeds among the people." Psa 135:3 says, "Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto HIS NAME; for it is pleasant."

Isa 7:14 says, "the Lord himself shall give you A SIGN; Behold, A VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE, AND BEAR A SON, AND SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL."

Mt. 1:23 says, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL, WHICH BEING INTERPRETED IS, GOD WITH US."

Isa 9:6 says, "For unto us a child is born (inheriting his human nature from his mother), unto us a son is given (HIS DEITY): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and HIS NAME shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."

Isa 47:4 says, "As for our redeemer (SAVIOUR), the LORD (YAHWEH) OF HOSTS IS HIS NAME, the Holy One of Israel."

Isa 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, and his redeemer (SAVIOUR) the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I AM THE FIRST (YHWH THE KING OF ISRAEL), AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH OF HOSTS, YESHUA); AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD."

Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD (YAHWEH) OF HOSTS IS HIS NAME; and thy Redeemer (SAVIOUR) the Holy One of Israel; THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH SHALL HE BE CALLED." Agape

Re: authenticity of Matthew

Support for authenticity of book of Matthew comes from an unlikely place

6-7-03 - Buried in ancient texts of Jewish historical works are fragments of evidence that appear to show the first book of the New Testament actually was written by one of Jesus' apostles.

One of these texts also challenges a long-held assertion that no ancient text except the Bible mentions Jesus' birth.

Taken together, the information lends support to the claims of some Christian scholars that Matthew actually wrote the Gospel bearing his name, a Gospel that more than the three others emphasized Jesus' Jewish roots....

But as scholars of Judaism continue to research the history of early Christianity, they are uncovering evidence that appears to show the Gospels of the New Testament may be more reliable than some thought....

In an essay written for the book Passover and Easter: Origin and History to Modern Times, Israel J. Yuval of Jerusalem's Hebrew University reported a find in the Talmud that appears to show Matthew could have been written earlier than some scholars contend.

Yuval wrote that a leading rabbinical scholar of the time was "considered to have authored a sophisticated parody of the Gospel according to Matthew."

The parody, written by a rabbi known as Gamaliel, is believed by some well-respected liberal Christian scholars to have been written about A.D. 73 or earlier.

The fact the parody exists and the date when it was believed to be written "would undercut badly (biblical critics') claims of a late date of A.D. 85-90 or later," said Bob Newman, professor of New Testament at Biblical Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania.

"That is very significant and very important," said Tim Skinner, associate professor of Bible and theology at Luther Rise Seminary in Georgia, because that validates the legitimacy of Matthew's Gospel...it confirms the truthfulness of the biblical account in Matthew and confirms the truth of what Jesus did."

Blomberg said a close study of the parody's wording indicates it was based on an existing text. If that text was Matthew, the Gospel existed much earlier than some scholars believe.

Similarly the earlier the Gospel was written, the more likely eyewitnesses to Jesus' life would still be alive.

"(Which) would mean that Matthew's Gospel would be seen by other eyewitnesses who could check and authenticate it," Blomberg said....

Among the challenges to Christianity was the charge that Jews had rejected Jesus and that no Jewish leaders or scholars ever accepted Jesus as the Messiah. But even one of the most revered Jewish texts, the Talmud, a collection of rabbinical writings from 100 B.C. to A.D. 500, suggests otherwise....

In his classic work, The History of the Talmud, Jewish Talmudic scholar Michael L. Rodkinson wrote: "There were passages in the Mishnayoth concerning Jesus and his teaching...the Messianists...(were) many and considerable persons and in close alliance with their colleagues the Pharisees during the (first) two centuries."

Those words from the Mishnah appear to correspond to New Testament accounts that many Jews, including Pharisees and "a great company of priests were obedient to the faith" (Acts 6:7).

The Talmud mentions that the Romans hanged Jesus from a tree, while in another text section the Talmud does something done nowhere else but the New Testament -- mentions Jesus' birth.

English scholar R. Travers Herford, in his book Christianity in Talmud and Midrash, wrote that rabbinical writings mention that Jesus' mother, Mary, was "descended from princes and rulers."

Despite the noble lineage, Herford noted, the Talmudic text referred to Jesus as "Ben Pandira," roughly translated as "son of a virgin," which was considered an epithet....

Marilyn, I see you are unable to see past your own bias when investigating other writings about G-d and man's relationship to Him. It's sad really because the Bible Codes (for example) have shown us just how deep and layered scripture is and since you insist on staying on the tip of the iceberg, you never get the joy of experience any deeper connections hidden in scripture.

Your definition of "astrology" and the ancients practice are two very different things. The stars were put in the sky as signs for us as it is written, "Let there be luminaries in the firmament of the heaven to separate between the day and the night; and they shall serve as signs, and for festivals, and for days and years..." The magi serve as another example of how the stars have guided those who are observant. Are you going to condemn the magi as being astrologers? Your double-standard is hypocritical at best. Rich

My reply

> > you never get the joy of experience any deeper connections hidden in scripture.

But I enjoy having the Holy Spirit of God in me. That beats any esoteric knowledge hands down.

Astrology (the divination of the supposed influences of the stars upon human affairs and terrestrial events by their positions and aspects) differs from astronomy (the science of the celestial bodies and of their magnitudes, motions, and constitution). Astrology is forbidden. Astronomy is not.

I see you haven't read my files on the real meaning of the Zodiac: "God's picture book, 'THE WAY,' written in the stars, part 1, part 2 and part 3."

http://www.prophecycorner.com/agee/stars.html
http://www.prophecycorner.com/agee/stars2.html
http://www.prophecycorner.com/agee/stars3.html

When God said, "Let there be luminaries in the firmament of the heaven to separate between the day and the night; and they shall serve as signs, and for festivals, and for days and years," the stars became bona fide signs.

Just as we give our children picture books before we give them the written word, God wrote his gospel story in the heavens and gave man a picture of it--before he gave Israel the Bible. When God rested the seventh day, "the heavens and the earth were FINISHED, and all the host of them" (Gen. 2:1). Psa. 96: 5 says, "all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens." He also named the stars. Psa. 147 says, "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names."

According to Josephus and others, Adam, Seth and Enoch drew the first pictorial gospel story. They were contemporaries 308 years.

Of Adam, Seth, and his descendants, Josephus said, "Adam...He had indeed many other children, but Seth in particular....Now this Seth, when he was brought up, and came to those years in which he could discern what was good, became a virtuous man; and as he was himself of an excellent character, so did he leave children behind him who imitated his virtues. All these proved to be of good dispositions. They also inhabited the same country without dissensions, and in a happy condition, without any misfortunes falling upon them, till they died. THEY ALSO WERE THE INVENTORS OF THAT PECULIAR SORT OF WISDOM WHICH IS CONCERNED WITH THE HEAVENLY BODIES, AND THEIR ORDER" (Ant. I. II. 3).

Enoch was a prophet. Jude 14,15 says, "Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, Prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all." He knew the whole plan of God right up to the Second Advent.

The Zodiac was originally drawn by the inspiration of God. Satan has tried to twist its meaning and turn man to astrology to keep mankind from understanding the real meaning of the Zodiac and other constellations.

The Constellations tell the story of Yeshua over and over, from his virgin birth (VIRGO) to his death (VICTIMA) to his resurrection (CAPRICORN) to his being the giver of the water of the Holy Spirit (AQUARIUS) to his ruling as the King of the tribe of Judah (LEO).

"THE WAY" illustrates many gospel stories. Christ's conflict with Satan (OPHIUCHUS vs SERPENS) for the crown (CORONA) is clear. His virgin birth (VIRGO) and his childhood (COMA) are there. COMA sits on a footstool with a human shaped foot on one leg to show that this actually takes place on the Earth. Isa. 66:1 says, "the earth is my footstool."

Yeshua's dual nature is depicted. CEN-, from the Greek "kain" means new. CENTAURUS is the NEW TAURUS (GOVERNOR, i.e., God in a human body). His death and resurrection are pictured (CAPRICORNUS). The cross (CRUX) is there. Both Raptures are indicated (THE LESSER AND GREATER SHEEPFOLDS). Christ's reaping with the SICKLE on the Day of God's Wrath is pictured. BOOTES (THE COMING ONE, from the Hebrew "bo," come), reaps THE GREATER SHEEPFOLD with his SICKLE.

The outpouring of God's wrath is depicted in ARA, the upside-down flaming altar and TAURUS, the charging two horned bull. The final triumph of the King of kings (CEPHEUS) and of the Wife of Christ (CASSIOPEIA), to whom he holds out his golden sceptre, is there. Cepheus holds aloft a bunch of fabric ribbons, showing that he is a religious leader, a man of the cloth.

The Christ vs. Satan conflict is there in other places. HERCULES (wearing a Lamb skin, representing Christ) has his foot on the head of DRACO (Satan). PERSEUS (Christ) has cut off the head of Satan (ROSH SATAN). SAGITTARIUS (the CENTAURUS shooting an arrow [SAGITTA] at SCORPIO's [Satan's] heart) has a hurt foot, reminding us of Gen. 3:15.

It says, "I will put enmity between thee (Satan) and the woman, and between thy seed and HER SEED (YESHUA); it shall bruise thy (Satan's) head, and thou (Satan) shalt bruise his (Yeshua's) heel." Yeshua's heel was bruised when he was nailed to the cross.

ORION (THE COMING OF THE BRANCH, i.e., Christ) has cut off the head of the "roaring lion," (Satan, I Peter 5:8) and is holding up his head and skin to depict his victory. The lion's tail is in ERIDANUS, the river of fire to show that both the False Prophet (Satan's seed) and Satan end up in the Lake of Fire.

Rev. 20:10 says, "And the devil (Satan) that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast (of Rev. 13:3-10) and the false prophet (of Rev. 13:11-18) are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

That Christ was able to lay down his own life and take it up again is even shown. CENTAURUS (Christ) slaying VICTIMA (Christ) depicts it. CAPRICORNUS, as a sacrificial goat, dies and is resurrected as a lively fish. AURIGA (Christ as the good shepherd) has one heel being pricked by one horn of TAURUS (Christ). There is much much more. In each constellation, the names that God gave the stars explain what the picture stands for.

If you would like to read more about this, Bullinger's "Witness of the Stars" is online at: http://philologos.org

> > Are you going to condemn the magi as being astrologers?

No, they were wise. They knew enough of Daniel's teachings to recognize that the King of kings was born in Israel in their days. That's more than you have been able to do so far.

Mt. 2:1-2 says, "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came WISE MEN from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, WHERE IS HE THAT IS BORN KING OF THE JEWS? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." I worship my Lord Jesus Christ too.

Herod "gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel" (Mt. 2:4-6).

Nu. 24:17 says, "I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel." Verse 19 says, "Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion."

The wise men recognized him, but you have not. Go ahead and let Kabbalah take up the precious little time we have left. It just might keep you from becoming as wise as the magi though.

We should spend more time reading Scripture than books about Scripture. Man can be wrong. God knows what man isn't even smart enough to think to ask. Searching Scripture is like searching the mind of God. It doesn't come any better than that. Agape

Incoming email, Re: KNOWING YOU ARE SAVED - FOR SURE

.. I just discovered your website and find it very interesting. With all that is going on in the world today - I find it very depressing just to be alive. I see the end of the world coming and just want to quit everything in life. Why bother to go to work. raise a familyt, get an education, pay bills, etc. in today's world. There may not be a tomorrow. I have been treated for mental illness for about 20 years and am on medications. I use to have a great job and success -now I can't handle a job or the stress that comes with it. I am a prisoner in my own life. My children are plagued with mental illness, also. I never brough up my children in the Lord and he wanted me to do. I do know all of us are saved for his Return because we believe He died on the cross for our sins. My mother-inlaw speaks in tongues and I was told that because I do not I will not get into Heaven. Is this true? I know I still sin and it is very hard to be perfect. Does this mean that I have lost my salvation because I still sin. I try to ask God to forgive me, but with my memory I can't remember each time. I know my 15 year old has "been with a couple of boys". I have tried to tell her that she lost her salvation because of this. Am I telling her right? If the Bible says you cannot lose your salvation am I not teaching her contradictory statements. I don't want to give my children the wrong advice - especially where the lord is concerned. I want all of my children and husband to be with me i n Heaven. Why do I feel so empty and hopeless when it comes to being confirmed in my salvation so that I will know once and for all I have lost my salvation. Doesn't the Bible teach that we are in sin because of Adam , but by believing we are assured of our salvation. I try to teach my kids not to live in World, but to be different. I am so terrified that they, too, will sin and not make it in to Heaven. it's like a game each moment - did I do something wrong today - will I make it to Heaven should the Lord return today? Can I OR US EVER BE ASSURED THAT WE ARE SAVED - NO MATTER WHAT? Aren't we saved by Grace today. The verse that says "Believe in the Lord so that you will not periish, but have everlasting life. If we just believe - as simple as it sounds, do we really have everlasting life. Or, just until we screw up or do something human. then we have to start all over.

I live in constant emptiness over this. Why is it so hard to know for sure about our salvation. I mean to God, whether it is a simple little lie or adultery, or murder, in His eyes it all carries the same weight. We cannot be perfect because we are born into sin. But the verse mentioned above is so simple, like coming unto with the faith of a little child. Then why is it so hard. I am so terrified of not seeing my family in Heaven - if I even make it. I don't want to even get out of bed. I find myself sleeping 12+ hours a day. I don't even to face life anymore. I am tired of my depression and tired of struggling with these issues. I see God as a mean spirit sitting on top of the World ready to strike anyone down that does obey His rules. But, I am also told he is a loving and forgiving God. Which is it?/ Please answer my e=mail. Thank you

My reply

I'm glad you found my web site interesting.

> > With all that is going on in the world today - I find it very depressing just to be alive.

I can't relate to that. I think it is such an exciting time to be alive. I wouldn't trade it for any other time since the first century if I could. We can see prophecy being fulfilled in our times. We have a chance to be caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture without having to die.

I am 74 and realize that no generation before mine had even a slim chance of the Rapture coming before they died. Those born in 1967 are the last generation. They will see the things mentioned in the Fig Tree Parable of Mt. 24:32-34 fulfilled.

In that parable, the fig tree (Israel, Joel 2:6,7; Hos. 9:10; Eze. 36:8; Jer. 24:5,6;29:16,17) put forth leaves (grew) when summer was close. Israel grew leaves (Golan Heights, West Bank, Sinai and Gaza Strip) in the Six-Day War of 1967. The war began June 5 and summer began June 21. Jesus then said, "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (the Kingdom of God, Luke 21:31) is near, even at the doors (a symbol of the two Raptures, Pre-Trib and Pre-Wrath). Verily (lit., amen, so be it) I say unto thou, This generation (that saw Israel grow leaves) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

Since the Israelites were in the wilderness 40 years while one generation died off, one generation is probably 40, so 1967 + 40 = 2007. We are living in the latter years of this age. There are lots of prophecies that are to be fulfilled in the latter years. It's fun to search the Bible for them.

What will happen at the Pre-Trib Rapture? I Thess. 4:16-18 says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

> > My mother-inlaw speaks in tongues and I was told that because I do not I will not get into Heaven. Is this true?

No. Your faith in Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour saves you. Nothing can be added to that, not even baptism, let alone speaking in tongues. It is a free gift from God to believers. Eph 2:8-10 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works." Good works are for rewards, not salvation.

> > I know I still sin and it is very hard to be perfect. Does this mean that I have lost my salvation because I still sin. I try to ask God to forgive me, but with my memory I can't remember each time.

We all sin. We remember some and forget some. That is why it is best to ask forgiveness the second we commit a sin. Don't wait until later, when we might forget. Even so, we can be forgiven all sins. I John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins (known ones), he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (including unknown sins).

> > I know my 15 year old has "been with a couple of boys". I have tried to tell her that she lost her salvation because of this. Am I telling her right?

No. We cannot lose our salvation, but if our sins that we have committed after we accepted Christ are not confessed to God, we are out of fellowship with our Holy God. That might put us in with the foolish virgin group that will be left behind at the 1st Rapture (Mt. 25:1-13).

All previous sins are wiped off the books when we first accept Christ, and we can't be lost. However, unconfessed sin can keep us out of the Bride of Christ group that will be caught up in the 1st Rapture. And, we haven't been told how much oil of the Holy Spirit we need to be part of the Bride of Christ. The foolish virgins will have to wait for the 2nd Rapture at the end of the shortened Great Tribulation. They will be caught up just before the wrath of God hits unbelievers on Earth.

> > Doesn't the Bible teach that we are in sin because of Adam, but by believing we are assured of our salvation.

Yes.

> > If we just believe - as simple as it sounds, do we really have everlasting life. Or, just until we screw up or do something human. then we have to start all over. I live in constant emptiness over this. Why is it so hard to know for sure about our salvation.

It is true that if we just believe, we really do have everlasting life, whether we screw up or not. However, we might be foolish virgin castaways at the 1st Rapture and have to wait until the 2nd Rapture to be caught up to Heaven.

In I Cor. 9:27, Paul said, "I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." Paul couldn't be lost. The only things he could lose were to be counted as a member of the Bride of Christ and be caught up in the 1st Rapture. A foolish virgin is a castaway.

Mt. 25:10-13 says, "And while they (the foolish virgins)went to buy (oil, symbol of the Holy Spirit), the bridegroom (Christ) came; and they that were ready (the wise virgins) went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

> > the verse mentioned above is so simple, like coming unto with the faith of a little child. Then why is it so hard.

It is so easy that it seems hard. We think surely we have to do more than accept Christ to merit Heaven and eternal life. We don't. In Luke 18:17, Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." The little child doesn't worry about what else she/he might have to do to merit Heaven and eternal life. She/he is quite willing to receive the kingdom of God when given it, without worrying about doing anything to deserve it.

> > I am so terrified of not seeing my family in Heaven - if I even make it. I don't want to even get out of bed. I find myself sleeping 12+ hours a day. I don't even to face life anymore. I am tired of my depression and tired of struggling with these issues.

You know something? If you have unresolved problems when you go to sleep, you still have them when you wake up, no matter how long you sleep. That escape is only temporary, and you are sleeping half your life away.

Take one problem at a time. Tackle it so you know you did your best to solve it so it won't bother you anymore.

As for "KNOWING YOU ARE SAVED - FOR SURE," you can always go by what Romans 10:9-11 says, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

> > I see God as a mean spirit sitting on top of the World ready to strike anyone down that does obey His rules. But, I am also told he is a loving and forgiving God. Which is it

He is both perfect love and perfect justice. He is perfectly fair too. He forgives those that accept Christ all their past sins in an instant when they are saved, giving them a new start. He forgives sins we commit afterward when we confess them to him. What more could we ask of a loving and forgiving God?

Besides that, when we are saved, he fills us with his Holy Spirit, Christ in us, our Comforter. In Mat 11:28, Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

We earn rewards in Heaven for good deeds we do when we are filled with his Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ. Rom 8:9 says, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

The ones in fellowship with God, i.e., with all their sins confessed, have a full measure of the Holy Spirit of Christ. If believers sin, the level of the Spirit of Christ in them recedes, but does not completely leave them. They retain their sealing until the day of redemption. If they confess their sin, they are filled again. It's like a fountain of living water within them wells up until they are full and running over. Remember when king David said his cup runneth over? It's like that.

Before Adam, God decided that the just shall walk by faith. They do not walk alone. The Holy Spirit of Christ is in them to guide and comfort them. Jesus said that he would never leave us. Cast your cares on him and let him comfort you. Agape
