ARE THESE 40 DAYS THAT STARTED
YESTERDAY OUR RAPTURE WINDOW?

"In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month (Cheshvan 17), the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN WERE OPENED" (Gen. 7:11).

"The fountains also of the deep and THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN WERE STOPPED (caker, shut up), and the rain from heaven was restrained" (Gen. 8:2).

Incoming email, Re: What about the 40 Years?

It has been quite a while since I have written. I have been faithfully following your web site as always. I like the new ti in with the constellations and scripture but a bell went off in my head about the fig tree generation being 40 years. Have you given this any thought. It seems to me that a generation must extend beyond 40 years for all things of the tribulation to come to pass from 1967.

Also you added ascension day to your list. Isn't this outside of the time when saturn is a morning star?

To me things are coming together but still troubling. The first few dates don't fall in the spring to match verses in the Song of Songs and the last date has a problem as I just stated. I don't have the answers but if anyone can solve this puzzle I'm betting on you.

My reply

> > It seems to me that a generation must extend beyond 40 years for all things of the tribulation to come to pass from 1967.

I expected a generation to be 40 years, because in 30 AD, Jesus told the Pharisees, "All these things shall come upon this generation" (Mt. 23:36). They did, in 70 AD, and that 40 years matched up with the Israelite's 40 years in the wilderness.

However, Mt. 1:17 says, "So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations." 2030 divided by 42 = 48.33 years. Adding that to 1967, it looks like the window of opportunity is from 2007 to 2015. In this window, we have four Jewish Leap Years, 5768 (2007/2008), 5771 (2010/2011), 5774 (2013/2014), and 5775 (2015/2016).

Since the time left for the Tribulation between 11-12-03 and 9-13-07 is just 1260 +141 days, I think that is too few days in the Great Tribulation for 5768 to be possible.

Therefore, I went to 5771 (2010/2011). I subtracted the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 and came to Sivan 3, 5764 (May 23, 2004) for the beginning of the Tribulation. That would knock out next Pentecost (Sivan 6, 5764). Ascension Day on May 16, 2004 (Iyar 25, 5764) would fit Song of Solomon 2:10-14, but, as you said, Saturn would not be a morning star. It will only be a morning star from now to March 8, 2004.

Does Saturn (Heaven) have to be a morning star?

Let's look at this more carefully. In Rev. 2:28, Jesus said of overcomers, "I will give him the MORNING (proinos, DAWN) STAR." That could be an important clue. A morning star could be up from midnight to sun up. A dawn star would just have to be up at sun up. That might narrow our possibilities.

In Rev. 22:16,17, Jesus said, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and THE BRIGHT AND MORNING (orthrinos, DAWN) STAR. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come."

II Peter 1:19 says, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until THE DAY DAWN (diaugazo, DAWN), and the DAY STAR (phosphoros, morning star, day star) arise in your hearts."

I went to YourSky, and started with March 7, 2004, Purim. Saturn was not up at dawn. I backed up until I got to Dec. 27, the 8th day of Hanukkah. At 4:50, there was the Sun rising and Saturn getting ready to set. Here is that chart. Mercury and the Sun are overlapping on the left. Saturn is in Gemini and about to set.

Backing up again to Dec. 19, 2003, the Eve of Hanukkah, here is that chart at 4:45 AM.

Isn't that beautiful? Saturn is still in the sky at dawn. Just maybe we can narrow our choices to Friday, Dec. 19, 2003. That day is Kislev 24, 5764.

Here is what Haggai 2 says about the 24th day of the 9th month.

Verse10 says, "In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month."
Verse 15 says, "And now, I pray you, CONSIDER from this day and UPWARD (gabah, TO CAUSE TO GO UP HIGH), from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD."
Verses 18 and 19 say, "CONSIDER now from this day and UPWARD (gabah, TO CAUSE TO GO UP HIGH), from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the FOUNDATION of the LORD's temple was laid, CONSIDER it. Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: FROM THIS DAY WILL I BLESS YOU."

The FOUNDATION of New Jerusalem has the apostles names on it. They are 12 of the elders that are caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture (Rev. 21:14). The other 12 elders are the 12 patriarchs of Israel. Their names are on the gates of New Jerusalem.

Rev. 3:10-12 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (hupomone, patient endurance, continuance), I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly (at the Rapture, Rev. 2:5; 22:20): hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I MAKE A PILLAR IN THE TEMPLE OF MY GOD, AND HE SHALL GO NO MORE OUT: AND I WILL WRITE UPON HIM THE NAME OF MY GOD, AND THE NAME OF THE CITY OF MY GOD, WHICH IS NEW JERUSALEM, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

I hope Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, the Eve of Hanukkah will be the day of the Pre-Trib Rapture.

What was the miracle of Hanukkah? the consecrated oil that was supposed to last one day lasted 8 days. That could tie in with the wise virgins of Mt. 25 having enough oil. The number 8 means new order. We will start a new order at the Rapture.

Mt. 25:6-10 says, "at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom (Christ) cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out (lit., going out). But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and THEY THAT WERE READY WENT IN WITH HIM TO THE MARRIAGE: AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT."

When Noah went into the Ark on Cheshvan 17, "the Lord shut him in" (Gen. 7:16). Then it rained 40 days, and the Ark was LIFTED UP. Adding 40 days to Cheshvan 17, 5764 (Nov. 12, 2003) will be 27 Kislev (Dec. 22, 2003). That is the 3rd day of Hanukkah and the 1st day of winter.

Maybe the Rapture will be in this 40-day window, from Nov. 12 to Dec. 22, the first day of winter. Remember Mt. 24:20? It says, "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day." Friday, Dec. 19 (24 Kislev, 5764) would not be in the winter, or on Saturday.

Dec. 19 fits pretty good. I'll be 75 on Dec. 13. That's 7 days before Hanukkah. Something might happen on the 13th that would warn us that the Rapture was near. Agape

Incoming email, Re: Noah's one week notice of flood

I have been a reader of yours for many years, and have been aware of the many troubles that you and Ed have endured for so long. You have been an inspiration for me as I read constantly, on the Doves and elsewhere, about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I almost never communicate with anyone, but just 'hover' around the sites.

I have just read something that grabs my attention, and rather than wait for someone else to bring it up, I would like to ask your opinion. This is a small part of Janet Fortune' post on Doves, on 11 Nov. 2003, about Pastor McCutchan's message.

"One of these days, in the near future, we're going to hear that an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians has been reached. Also the date for a formal public confirmation ceremony will be announced. I repeat, the confirmation of "the covenant with many" could be as simple as confirming the battered Road Map agreement?! It certainly needs it! Let's say for example, a confirmation ceremony, with much pomp and circumstance, would be convened on October 15.

Based on past performance, such as Israel's treaties with Egypt; Jordan; and the Oslo agreements, the announcement of the public ceremony always came several days in advance of the event. So, let's say that on October 8, we hear that a confirmation ceremony is set for October 15. We would then know that the Church would be caught up to meet Christ in the air on October 14. Remember, Jesus said to the Church, WATCH and know the hour of His coming (Rev. 3:3)!! "

This is referring to the week's notice given to Noah before the flood. How do you feel about this? It certainly makes sense to me. Thanking you in advance

My reply

Thanks for your kind words.

> > referring to the week's notice given to Noah before the flood. How do you feel about this? It certainly makes sense to me.

How would you like a 40-day notice?

A SIGN IN THE SUN. Tuesday, Nov. 4, the Sun sent out a huge flare. It came at the end of a 10-day bombardment, and was the biggest explosion in our Solar System on record. All this happened while the Sun was supposed to be in its quieter mode.

A SIGN IN THE MOON. The Lunar eclipse of Nov. 8 was a Blood Moon seen just about everywhere but Australia.

A SIGN IN THE CONSTELLATIONS. Saturn, which I think is Heaven is now in Gemini, as it was in Noah's day and at the time of the Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension.

A WEATHER SIGN. Yesterday, Wednesday, Nov. 12, was Cheshvan 17, the day Noah entered the Ark and the rain began to fall. I think we just might have entered a 40-day window of opportunity for the Rapture. See what you think.

It began to rain in Southern California, a deluge the likes of which had not been seen in many years. (Watts had 6" of hail.) Other places across the nation had rain, floods or wind.

Fox News 11-13-03: "Winds Head East After Sweeping Through Midwest".
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,102957,00.html

"Deadly windstorms gusting to more than 70 mph swept across the Midwest and the East, knocking out power to nearly a million customers and bringing flooding that flushed out buildings "like a toilet."

"In Los Angeles, hail up to 6 inches deep remained on the ground Thursday in the Watts, South Gate and Compton neighborhoods, a day after a freak storm. The storm dropped 5 inches of rain and hail in under two hours, leaving thousands without power.

"More than 980,000 customers lost power around the Midwest and East, including more than 330,000 in Michigan, where gusts up to 74 mph knocked down trees and power lines Wednesday....

"The fast-flowing water in Southern California turned some streets to rivers Wednesday night, and more than 100 motorists and pedestrians were rescued from waist-deep water.

"The last time more rain was recorded in a 24-hour period in downtown Los Angeles was in 1934, when more than 7 inches fell."

We lived in La Mirada, CA in 1969. I couldn't figure out how long Armageddon lasted. In desperation, I asked the Lord to show me. It rained 40 days and 40 nights, from Jan. 18, to Feb. 23, 1969. That "Savage Storm" hit the record books. Seven inches of rain fell in a very short time. (Ed couldn't get the car home from Norwalk.)

Yesterday evening, our son Dave took Ed and I to pick up the car after having major work done on it to replace 3 main gaskets. It had been leaking oil from the intake manifold. On the way, our son saw lightning about 3 times, but I missed it. It was raining lightly as Ed and I walked to the cashier's office. I told him I was glad it wasn't pouring for he walks so slowly. We would have been drenched.

As I drove home later, it still wasn't raining much. We did see lightning as the sky lit up good a couple of times. Then we saw one big streak come to the ground somewhere ahead of us. I told Ed I wished my computer was unplugged, but when we got home, there was no lightning, and only a little bit of rain. I was able to use my computer into the wee hours.

We were shocked to see the TV news of the flash flood in Watts. Around 100 vehicles were stranded. Hail fell in abundance. Electric power was knocked out. It was announced as the worst storm in 20 years. All that, and it passed us by with very little rain and without any thunderclaps.

This freak storm hit on Nov. 12 (Cheshvan 17), the date when Noah entered the Ark and it began to rain. I think this huge downpour that suddenly dumped 5" of rain on Watts was a sign.

In today's Riverside Press Enterprise, Paul Chavez wrote, "SAVAGE STORM SOAKS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA... Rain triggers flooding, power outages...STALLED STORM: heaviest showers hover ominously over the same areas for extended periods of time....Thunder roared, lightning ripped through the skies and hail slammed into four counties..."

Four counties, and it skipped us? That's a miracle. We now seem to be running in parallel with the days of Noah.

My work at the computer last night was fruitful. I'm sure the Lord was helping me. I looked up the Greek words translated morning star or day star. They actually mean dawn star. Wow, I thought. That might narrow our chances.

Forty days from yesterday, Cheshvan 17, is Kislev 27 (Dec. 22), the 3rd day of Hanukkah. Will the Rapture take place within this time limit? I don't know, but I suspect that Dec. 19 (Kislev 24) could be the day.

Here is what Haggai 2 says about the 24th day of the 9th month (Kislev).

Verse10 says, "In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month." Verse 15 says, "And now, I pray you, CONSIDER from this day and UPWARD (gabah, TO CAUSE TO GO UP HIGH, i.e., like a Rapture), from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD."

Is the seed (i.e., wheat, believers, Mt. 13:30) yet in the barn? (i.e., the Lord's) yea, as yet the vine (He is the vine; we the branches, John 15:5), and the fig tree (Israel, Joel 1:6,7), and the pomegranate (the Bride, Song 4:3), and the olive tree (children, Psa. 128:3), hath not brought forth: FROM THIS DAY WILL I BLESS YOU."

The FOUNDATION of New Jerusalem has the apostles' names on it. They are 12 of the elders that are caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture (Rev. 21:14). The other 12 elders are the 12 patriarchs of Israel. Their names are on the gates of New Jerusalem.

Rev. 3:10-12 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (hupomone, patient endurance, continuance), I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation (peirasmos, trial), which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

19, 2003, the Eve of Hanukkah, will be the day of the Pre-Trib Rapture. Hanukkah will begin at 6 PM that evening.

What was the miracle of Hanukkah? the consecrated oil that was supposed to last one day lasted 8 days. That could tie in with the wise virgins of Mt. 25 having enough oil. The number 8 means new order. We will start a new order at the Rapture.

Incoming email, Re: Methuselah - Man of the Spear

By James R. Davis
http://home.att.net/~jrd/Methus.htm

The name, Methuselah, comes from the Hebrew, "Math" meaning "adult man" signifying "extent of time." This is combined with "shelach" meaning "missile of attack"- missile also meaning weapon, dart, arrow, javelin and spear, thus "man of the spear." There is also an indication of "appointment" or "bringing on the way " much as a tree branch shoots forth slowly but surely, as in some event that will eventually be brought to pass. (See Strong's Dictionary)

Matthew Henry says the name Methuselah means, "he dies, there is a dart." Hitchcock Bible Names Dictionary states that his name means, "he has sent his death."

His name indicates that at his death something cataclysmic and deadly would happen. Arthur W. Pink in his book, Gleanings From Genesis, explains the meaning of the name as signifying, "When he is dead it shall be sent."

Methuselah's father, Enoch, apparently received a revelation regarding his son. This is shown in the name he gave him, so that in effect, Methuselah was a living, walking testimony of God's coming judgment upon a sinful world. When people heard his name, they should have been stirred to repentance, but instead continued to rebel against God. Yet God allowed Methuselah to live 969 years, dying in the same year of the Flood.

It was appropriate that Methuselah was allowed to live longer than any man has ever lived, for he was a type of God's longsuffering and patience with mankind. God extended the time for mankind to repent for as long as Methuselah would live. God's Spirit strove with man in the earth, Genesis 6:3, "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."...

The spear thrown upon the earth was the judgment of the Great Flood.

Today we live in the Age of Grace. Just as Methuselah would have to die some day, so this period of grace in which we live will also come to an end. 2 Peter 3:9, tells us, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
