Re: Enoch. Enoch was a mighty man of God.

The following are extracts from "The Secrets of the Book of Enoch," Chapters 1 and 68:

"Chapter 1

Enoch's encounter with the two angels of God

1There was a wise man, a great artificer, and the Lord conceived love for him and received him, that he should behold the uppermost dwellings and be an eye-witness of the wise and great and inconceivable and immutable realm of God Almighty, of the very wonderful and glorious and bright and many-eyed station of the Lord's servants, and of the inaccessible throne of the Lord, and of the degrees and manifestations of the incorporeal hosts, and of the ineffable ministration of the multitude of the elements, and of the various apparition and inexpressible singing of the host of Cherubim, and of the boundless light.

2At that time, he said, when my one hundred and sixty-fifth year was completed, I begat my son Mathusal.

3After this too I lived two hundred years and completed of all the years of my life three hundred and sixty-five years.

4On the first day of the month I was in my house alone and was resting on my bed and slept.

5And when I was asleep, great distress came up into my heart, and I was weeping with my eyes in sleep, and I could not understand what this distress was, or what would happen to me.

6And there appeared to me two men, exceeding big, so that I never saw such on earth; their faces were shining like the sun, their eyes too were like a burning light, and from their lips was fire coming forth with clothing and singing of various kinds in appearance purple, their wings were brighter than gold, their hands whiter than snow.

7They were standing at the head of my bed and began to call me by my name.

8And I arose from my sleep and saw clearly those two men standing in front of me.

9And I saluted them and was seized with fear and the appearance of my face was changed from terror, and those men said to me:

10Have courage, Enoch, do not fear; the eternal God sent us to you, and lo! You shalt to-day ascend with us into heaven, and you shall tell your sons and all your household all that they shall do without you on earth in your house, and let no one seek you till the Lord return you to them.

11And I made haste to obey them and went out from my house, and made to the doors, as it was ordered me, and summoned my sons Mathusal and Regim and Gaidad and made known to them all the marvels those men had told me.

Chapter 68

1Enoch was born on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, and lived three hundred and sixty-five years.

2He was taken up to heaven on the first day of the month Tsivan and remained in heaven sixty days.

3He wrote all these signs of all creation, which the Lord created, and wrote three hundred and sixty-six books, and handed them over to his sons and remained on earth thirty days, and was again taken up to heaven on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, on the very day and hour when he was born.

4As every man's nature in this life is dark, so are also his conception, birth, and departure from this life.

5At what hour he was conceived, at that hour he was born, and at that hour too he died.

6Methosalam and his brethren, all the sons of Enoch, made haste, and erected an altar at that place called Achuzan, whence and where Enoch had been taken up to heaven."

If you would like to look at "The Book of Enoch" and "The Book of The Secrets of Enoch" and read about what Enoch was shown in Heaven, go to

God Bless you Marilyn and I hope you find this as fascinating as I did.

My reply

Thanks very much. I was looking for more proof that Enoch was born and raptured on Sivan 6. I'm hoping to get time to read more.

I've just read somewhere that it's ok to engage in normal activity (i.e., sleep). But my family and I will try to stay up during the night.

I also feel better about us waiting patiently in case rapture does not occur on May 31.

Just wondering, if it does not happen at the end of May, when may it possibly happen?

My reply

It has to happen before the Tribulation begins, i.e., before Pentecost/Feast of Weeks, 2001.

If the Church is raptured before the Tribulation and the Tribulation Saints are raptured before the Wrath, who are the people who will be left in their carnal bodies to populate the earth during the Millenium?

My reply

Those who believe between Rapture II on the Feast of Trumpets in 2007 and the Judgment of the Nations in the following Nisan, about 7 1/2 months later.

Have you heard of the terrible famine and trouble presently happening in Sudan? The timing of this in light of Isaiah 18 :1-5 is very interesting:

1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:

2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!

3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

God Bless You

Just want to know your thoughts on the subject matter of Rapture. What would your next thought be if it didn't happen ? Would you think that you've left something out ? Would you review the whole thing again and find out where you missed out ? Or, would you just give up after 36 years of in-depth study of the prophecies in the Bible ?

My reply

I would just say that it has to happen before the Feast of Weeks in 2001. I have said that all along. There is no giving up after the Bible gets hold of you.

Hi my name is ---- and i have been through your webpage...still dont know if i believe it or not...I've been a believer all my life but just recently became a Christian..walking on that path with the Lord...what i dont understand is how do u know that Jesus is coming May 31-98? i've always believed that Jesus Himself never knew when He's gonna returned ..expect His father (Our father) can u please give me an email and explain more to me...?are u one of God's Prophet's?...

My reply

My Web page explains why Pentecost, May 31, 1998. Read home page and the file 30-40-50.html.

Briefly, in Six-Day War of 1967, Israel grew leaves fulfilling Mt. 24:32-34. They took rest of Jerusalem and the temple area. It was the Sign of the End of the Age (Mt. 24:3).

Psa. 122:3,4 (New Jerusalem Bible) says, "Jerusalem, built as a city, IN ONE UNITED WHOLE, there the tribes go up, the tribes of Yahweh, A SIGN for Israel to give thanks to the name of Yahweh."

The end of the age is in 2007, one generation (Mt. 24:32-34), 40 years from 1967. The Feast of Trumpets in 2007 is the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord, the Day of God's wrath (Joel 2:1,2). That is the end of the shortened Tribulation (Mt. 24:22). It lasts 2300 days (Dan. 8:14), so it starts on the Feast of Weeks in 2001.

According to the parable of the barren fig tree in Luke 13:6-9, there seem to be 4 Jewish years, counted by Jewish inclusive reckoning, between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation, 5758, 5759, 5760, and 5761 (our 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001).

Temple priests have to be at least 30 to officiate in the temple that will be rebuilt and sacrificing start in 2001. 1967 + 30 = 1997.

Israel's Jubilee Year is 1998. 1948 + 50 = 1998.

1998 is the 6000th year from when man began to be tested as mortal plus knowing both good and evil.

On the Biblical calendar, where the first of each month is determined only by the sighting of the first sliver of the new moon, May 14, 1948, when Israel was reborn, was Pentecost. Pentecost 1948 + 50 = Pentecost, 1998, which is May 31, 1998....

Thank you for your reply but you failed to answer from scritpure my questions.

You did say that 2 Peter 1:9 "at that time each is purges from his OLD sins" yet 2 Peter makes no mention of "old sins" my friend you are adding to Gods word! Which is a bad move on your part.

You also happend to bring up the parable of the ten virgins and stated that "the wise virgins had enough oil of the Holy Spirit to be caught up to heaven" Well actually the Holy Spirit is the "oil" being refered to and that passage states that some did not have oil (they didn't have the Spirit at all) vs 3 "The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take ANY OIL with them." it makes no reference to some of them having a little bit of the Spirit or an "amount" of the Spirit. Again you are adding to Gods word by your explination.. The wise virgins were the ones who had the Holy Spirit (they simply had the Holy Spirit).

As far as the rest of your letter.. Im looking forward to Christs return and Im trusting His words that no one knows the exact day except the Father.

Open a King James Bible, and you will find that 2 Peter 1:9 says, "But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins."

> that passage states that some did not have oil (they didn't have the Spirit at all)
> vs 3 "The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take ANY OIL with them."

The foolish had some oil in their lamps, but they did not take extra oil in their vessels too. Mt. 25:7 (NIV) says, "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are GOING OUT." They were about to go out, but were not yet out.

> Im looking forward to Christs return and

We do not have long to wait to see if the Lord comes for the Bride of Christ at Pentecost. It is May 31st. The word "knows" (NIV) is "oida," and means "recognizes." At that time, no one recognized the day or hour."

Today, we have a different situation. The Sign of the End of the Age has appeared. Now, we can recognize more than they could in 30 AD.

Psa. 122:3,4 (Jerusalem Bible) says, "Jerusalem, built as a city, in ONE UNITED WHOLE, there the tribes go up, the tribes of Yahweh, A SIGN for Israel to give thanks to the name of Yahweh." When Israel took the rest of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War of 1967, it was "A SIGN."

Luke 21:24 (NIV) says, "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." The year 1967 was a watershed of history.

In that year, Israel grew four leaves (Gaza Strip, Sinai, West Bank and Golan Heights) when she was 19 years old (still young and tender) fulfilling the fig tree parable of Mt. 24:32-34. The last 40-year generation began in 1967. This age will end in 2007 (1967 + 40 = 2007). We now only have nine years in which all the end-of-the-age events must take place, including building the temple so sacrificing can begin on the Feast of Weeks in 2001. (Sivan 6, 5761, the Feast of Weeks, to Tishri 1, 5768, the Feast of Trumpets, = the 2300 days of Dan. 8:14.)

In Rev. 3:3 (NIV), Jesus told the churches, "But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."

Time is short. Be READY for the Rapture. We need to be pure in His sight.

MJ, you are a very faithful servant for the cause of the Lord and the Body of Christ. Like so many that write you, I too have Christian brothers and sisters who do not accept the nearness of the rapture. They don't argue, because they know it could happen at any time, however, the fact that it's so final and a reality and finally here, is what they don't want to accept. The OT predicted over and over the coming of Jesus, the Messiah. Many knew about His coming. How is it that only shepherds and the Wise men were able to recognize the signs? I am thankful God has used you to be as a Wise Man (woman) or shepherd, so that others will follow and spread the news of His coming so soon. I thank God for the thief on the cross (Lk 23). He wasn't water baptized, didn't speak in tongues, didn't belong to a certain church, didn't fellowship with the Christian body, and had bad habits. MJ, this guy was accepted by Christ just as he was, because he spoke out for Christ and made a humble appeal to be remembered. It is never too late to repent! When repentance is real, it is accepted by the Lord. Keep looking up.

My reply

Well said, good and faithful servant.

I want to be everyone's wake-up call. Get ready now, just in case the Rapture happens this Pentecost. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We must repent, confess our sins and be filled with his Holy Spirit to be worthy to escape all these things that are to come (Luke 21:36). If it doesn't happen then, we will still be earning rewards in Heaven by the good works we do while filled with the Holy Spirit. It is a win-win situation.

I'm sure you've seen the material that shows that the Palestinians now control 38 percent of Israel, not 27 percent as everyone is stating. If they get the 13.1 percent demanded they then will control over 51 percent of the territory. For Israel to get recognition as the rightful "owners" of the territory with the right to rule, they must control over 50 percent of the territory for 50 years, which may or may not be May 14, 1998. This is the reason Israel is being pressured to sign away 13.1 percent more NOW, before May 14, 1998. alternately, since Israel was not recognized by the UN until 1949, the 50 years may not expire until May 1999. this may be why Arafat insists that they have the right to declare nationhood in May 1999. It will before the date the 50 years expire for statehood recognized by the UN and Arafat will claim the right to ALL the territory because they will control more than 51 percent of the land whicl Israel will have control of slightly less than 48 percent if the US and Europe continue to play into Arafat's hands, as they now are doing. God help us.

My reply

Thanks for putting it so clearly.

Thank you so much for your work and your reply to my last e-mail. I am anxiously awaiting the date to see if you are correct.

In reading your pages there seems to be an ongoing debate regarding the removing of the restraininer and the revealing of the antichrist. How can the Holy Spirit be removed so that the son of perdition is revealed and still comply with the statement that the Holy Spirit will never leave the earth? I have a few comments to add to the debate.

Several times in the Bible believers are referred to as the salt of the earth, and sin is referred to as leaven. I have a degree in culinary arts and think I may be able to clarify a few points.

When baking bread, salt is added to the mix to restrain the action of the yeast (leaven) in the mix. Too little salt and the dough will over proof. That is, the yeast will be very active and the bread will rise too quickly. Too much salt and the dough will not rise much, if at all. Here is how I think this relates.

In Matt. 5:13, when Christ spoke about Christians being the salt of the earth, He asked the question, "If salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden down by men." This sounds like the lukewarm believers who are left behind after the first rapture. They will be given their portion with the unrighteous. They will be heavily persecuted after the mark of the beast is implemented. They will certainly be trodden down by men.

If the true believers who are the salt of the earth are removed in the first rapture, there will not be enough good salt remaining on the earth to restrain the leaven. There will still be salt on the earth, but that salt will have lost its flavor and will be good for nothing. Therefore the Holy Spirit does not completely remove Himself from believers, there will just not be enough of Him left to serve as the restrainer. Both scriptures agree.

Two more peices that help fit it all together. I can't remember exactly where, but when Paul is scheduled to go before the court, he is told not to prepare his answers in advance, but to depend on the Holy Spirit to give him the words to speak. In Col 4:6 Paul says "Let your speach at all times be gracious, seasoned with salt , to know how you ought to answer anyone." Sounds pretty similar, huh?

My reply

Thanks for your input. I had put on the salt vs. leaven in breadmaking already, but you added a lot more important information. The Holy Spirit cannot completely leave the Earth at any time, but he will remove his restraining influence on the wicked one when the Rapture takes place.

Can't remember right now where to find more about Noah Troyer, but remember that he was sick and in a coma. He stood up 19 times during a period of several days and repeated the same thing. It made the local papers of that day. I'll post this and maybe someone can help on this. I think I have something on my Pro and Cons on this too, but don't know where now....

(Note: ...1878 is when Noah Troyer, while ill and in a coma stood up 19 times, I think spread over several different days, and said that man had but another 120 years. It made the newspaper that year. There are exactly 120 years from 1878 to 1998, when I expect the Rapture, which is as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37), when man was given 120 years (Gen. 6:3). That year, 1878, was also the year that the first two Jewish villages were established in Palestine. That alone could signal the countdown of the end times.)

Just read your news on the rapture date. Sobering stuff!! I couldn't fault it - even with my Bretheren Background!!!

I have't personally read the Bible Code Book, but have been told of many dates in there that have alternative dates running through them. Some have been and gone, suggesting that the rapture could happen on the 31st, but if certain events happen (through men's prayer or actions) then God will defer the date. What are your thoughts?

My reply

The Lord had a set plan before time began. He will come on time.

Dr. James Tabor, translating for the Original Bible Project, wrote:

> I am sure you have looked at Jeremiah 5:24 before...."and he keeps for
> us Shavuot, appointed for the harvest."

I love this. The Lord kept Pentecost in 30 AD, and I believe he will keep it at the Rapture, which is the wheat harvest.

We are Baptist, but have attended several non-denominational churches too. My testimony is on my web site. All that matters is that the church teach straight out of the Bible. Denominations were not set up by Scripture.

Just in case we are now a few days from the Rapture, please be ready. Use I John 1:9, confess all known sins so God can cleanse you of all unrighteousness. (Forive others as we want to be forgiven.) Do what you can to help friends and family be ready. We may only get one chance to be chosen as the Bride of Christ. We must not muff it.

...I am a 55 years old woman, who is so blessed by your website. Thank you so much for all your hard work and the blessings that you continually reveal to me through Christ Jesus.

For the past seven years, I have longed and listened for the Lord to shout, "Come up hither". I think about it all the time and can hardly contain my excitement.

I have e-mailed all three of my children, and ask them to check out your website. I believe only my youngest son (31 years old) appears to be interested. He and his family all love the Lord and wait anxiously for His return. I've just kept the other two families in my prayers. They stand on the "no one knows the day or the hour" verse, even though I stated that you address that. I fear they may not be ready!

My younger sister just passed away... She loved the Lord also, and could worship Him in total abandonment. She never concerned herself, with her surrounding when she would worship the Lord. She would lose herself in Jesus. I envied her and loved her so much!

My question; Is she in heaven with the Lord? I know the bible says, "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord".

I know your a very busy lady and have many e-mails to answer. If you could only say "yes" she is, or "no" she is on hold or something?

Thank you and God bless you and yours.

My reply

For those that think we can't know the day or hour, the word "knoweth" is present tense. It was true on the day it was stated. It did not say we would never know. In Mark 13:23, Jesus said, "take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you ALL THINGS." What can we exclude from "ALL THINGS"?

I John 2:18,20,27 addresses the last generation: "Little children, it is THE LAST TIME...But ye have an unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know ALL THINGS....the same anointing teacheth you of ALL THINGS." All clues are in Scripture. The Holy Spirit will teach you if you are receptive.

Knowing when is not what is important, but being ready just in case is terribly important. We may only have -- days left. What have we got to lose in getting ready? NOTHING. What have we got to lose if it happens and we are not ready? PLENTY. We have to face the Tribulation without being able to buy or sell. Ouch! It is Satan's big trap. He intends for people to have no money for food, medicine, rent, no way to even get their own money out of the bank without taking the deadly forbidden Mark. Not only that, but there may be only one chance to be chosen as the Bride of Christ. Eve was not taken out of Adam's body but one time. Only the wise virgins went with the Bridegroom when he came.

Absent from the body, present with the Lord means just that. It is instant cure and instant presence with the Lord.
