...Saturn's rings are now, as seen from Earth, at maximum tilt, about 25 degrees....
I had a thought in the middle of the night. The thought just popped in my head and I don't remember anyone posting about this before so I thought I would share with you. May sound simple but that is how the Lord deals with me.
It is regarding Vincent Tan's 234 that he received from the Angel. 234 could it possibly be Feb. 3, 2004?, 2/3/04 Blessings to all you Doves, Lou Ann
He gave me 2 different site to help with scanning and cleaning the computer.
Here they are. I have not tried them yet, but he assured me they are the best.
I think you may have to download software. He told me to go to the middle of the page, click on 'scan now', then 'what country' is to be entered, then 'local/download software--click on ok, then click on scan C drive. It has an Auto clean and scan function.
He uses this every day and it is updated every day.
The other place that has Free virus protection is:
Happy new year
I used Grisoft's free antivirus program before I got Norton. In spite of it, I got a virus, so I think Norton is worth the money. Using Grisoft's program and housecall every day would probably work. I didn't know about housecall until Dec. 1, 2003. Agape and may we all have the best year ever in 2004.
Rev. 17:3,8 says, "he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness (desert): and I saw a woman (harlot church) sit upon a scarlet coloured beast...The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition (i.e., possess the False Prophet, the 'son of perdition', II Thess. 2:3): and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast (Satan) that was (i.e., in Judas Iscariot, the only other 'son of perdition,' Luke 17:12), and is not (in man now), and yet is" (exists).
An ancient Jewish parody that quotes the New Testament's Gospel of Matthew may refute a major argument by biblical scholars who challenge the credibility of the Bible....
But a literary tale dated by some scholars at 72 A.D. or earlier, which comes from an ancient collection of Jewish writings known as the Talmud, quotes brief passages that appear only in the Gospel of Matthew....
The Talmud, a text not often touched by New Testament scholars, also contains a number of obvious references to Jesus and his family.
Jesus is called a Nazarene, one of the names given him. Another dubs him YESHUA BEN PANDIRA, WHICH MEANS JESUS BORN-OF-A-VIRGIN in a combination of Hebrew and Greek. His father was a carpenter, his mother was a hairdresser and Jesus, the Talmud says, was a magician who "led astray Israel."
And, it says, he was "hanged" on the eve of Passover....
But if Gamaliel quoted the Gospel of Matthew, then Matthew "had to be before 70 A.D.," said Craig Blomberg, distinguished professor of New Testament at Denver Theological Seminary....
Gamaliel argues that the judge is wrong and loosely quotes a statement attributed to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew.
"Look further in the book, and it is written in it, `I have not come to take away from the Law of Moses nor add to the Law of Moses ... '" Gamaliel replies, and wins the case on the basis of that argument or the bribe he gave the judge ó a "Libyan ass."
The Libyan ass itself is a reference to Jesus and the mount he rode into Jerusalem....
"I have seen this many times from airplanes, but this was the first time I was able to see and photograph it from the ground!" he says. It's not really a ghost following Danielsen around. It's the Brocken Spectre--so named because of sightings on the Brocken, the highest peak of Germany's Harz Mountains.
MJA note: Strangely enough, the spectre is the shadow of the person photographing the glory.
Speaking of something that is not what it seems to be, I went out Jan. 1st with my computer glasses on to mail a letter. Before going in the house, I took those glasses off and looked at Saturn. The clouds had just formed a hole it could peek through. Normally steady and yellowish, Saturn appeared as a radiant brilliant white cross quite a bit larger than Saturn usually looks. The shorter cross piece was above the center too. It was thrilling to see even though I know it had to do with the focus of my eyes. I went out another night since to see how Saturn looked. With my driving glasses, it looked like the yellowish disk I knew it to be. Without those glasses, it looked like a cross.
1-2-04 BOULDER, Colorado (AP) -- In a phenomenon that has scientists puzzled, the Earth is right on schedule for a fifth straight year.
Experts agree that the rate at which the Earth travels through space has slowed ever so slightly for millennia. To make the world's official time agree with where the Earth actually is in space, scientists in 1972 started adding an extra "leap second" on the last day of the year.
For 28 years, scientists repeated the procedure. But in 1999, they discovered the Earth was no longer lagging behind.
Agape! May this new year be the one!
1-1-04 VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The world needs a "new international order" to solve its conflicts and ensure peace, Pope John Paul (news - web sites) said in his New Year's Day address Thursday.
Saturn will be closer to Earth on New Years Eve than at any time in the past three decades.
MJA note: Saturn will be extra bright like this for quite awhile. It moves slowly. When the sky is clear. Look for Castor and Pollux in Gemini. Facing east, they are on the left of Saturn. Orion is on the right. The two brightest stars in Orion point to Saturn, which is almost directly overhead at midnight. I like to look at it earlier though, so I don't have to bend my head back so far.
In a stroke of good timing, Saturn's rings are tilted favorably, so that in small telescopes they are as striking as they can be. The setup provides backyard skywatchers a fine opportunity to see the planet at its best.
"Saturn's going to be really beautiful," said NASA (news - web sites) astronomer Mitzi Adams. "Sunlight reflected from Saturn's rings makes the planet extra bright."
The gas giant planet will be 748.3 million miles (1.2 billion kilometers) from Earth. It will not be closer until January of 2034.
The Palestinian Authority has adopted an official constitution based on Koranic "Sharia" Law, rendering all people living in the PA subject to Islamic Law. So writes independent investigative journalist David Bedein in FrontPageMagazine.com.
Don't you find this strange, considering that we must look for signs in the heavens. I am from eastern Pennsylvania and my moon has also moved, raising and setting several degree north that it usually does. I have watched this occurring at least over the last several months. Also, the sun is definitely setting much further south. I used to set right through my front door no longer. Some Animals that migrate are acting strange. Hundreds of whales and dolphins have beached themselves in Australia, Several weeks ago there was a story from Germany about birds flying south to Africa banging into buildings and dying by the hundreds. We have a friend who lives south of Boston along the coast. He went out for his usual morning hike with his wife and the beach was filled with scores of confused lobster, who were also probably migrating. I know that unfortunately the New Age people and survivalists are disseminating all the Planet X information but the more I study the more I am starting to believe in its existence. If not Planet X, than something else very large that caused all the sun storms last month and know on earth our magnetic field has changed because the animals follow this.
The Planet X people Claim that the Earth was pushed up from the South towards the North several degrees, thus the change in where the moon and sun usually position themselves in our sky. I feel if anyone could investigate this thoroughly it would be you. Love in Christ
The reason I don't think there is a planet X is because if it was at least as close as Neptune, it would be seen through telescopes. If it was as close as Saturn, it could be seen with the naked eye. It isn't a huge thing that can sneak up on us, it is the small asteroid that can do that. I can just imagine the astronomers wiping their brows in relief after finding a close pass just after it whizzed by.
It is strange that the whales, etc. have been beaching themselves. I could believe that the solar storms unleashed in our direction could disturb Earth's magnatism a whole lot quicker than that there is a planet X. Agape
Note: Here is a web page about Earth's magnetism changing:
"Earth loses its magnetism," By Molly Bentley , 12-31-03
Scientists have known for some time that the Earth's magnetic field is fading....
As for Iraq, I just figure it has to happen the way it does so the prophecies concerning Babylon will come true. I trust the Lord in everything. He is in complete control, no matter how it looks to us. He has a plan and is working his plan.
The US has a headquarters in Saddam's castle at Babylon now. I think Poland has headquarters in Babylon too. Before long, the towers will be built there. Isa. 30:25,26 says, "there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound." Do you have any other thoughts as to a revision? As a Watcher, I am very interested in what you think. Thanks for your time. His Blessings to you
It seems that we have gone too far for the Second Advent to be in 2008. I have gone to the next Jewish Leap Year, 5771 (2010/2011) instead of 5768 (2007/2008) for the Tishri 1 (9-9-2010) Day of God's Wrath and the Nisan 1 (Apr. 5, 2011) Second Advent.
Maybe the Rapture will be next Ascension Day, May 16, 2004. The things in Song of Solomon 2:10-14 will fit. Winter is past, the rain of Nisan over and gone. Grapes just coming on, turtledoves arrive in April, flowers, etc.
I subtracted the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 from Tishri 1, 5771 (Sept. 9, 2010) and got May 23 (Sivan 3) for the beginning of the Tribulation. That's why I went back to Ascension Day rather than Pentecost on Sivan 6.
Many Christians were upset when Israeli antiquities experts recently declared a 1st-century inscription bearing Jesus's name a fake, seemingly depriving them of the earliest archaeological proof of Jesus's existence....
"Archaeology isn't so much about proving the Bible," said Evans, an evangelical Christian who said he thinks the James inscription ultimately could be proved authentic. The importance of archaeology is that it "clarifies and contextualizes the story of the Bible."
What many people don't realize, Evans and other scholars said, is that archaeologists in recent years have been searching for -- and finding -- contextual clues to the world inhabited by Jesus and his followers....
Some of the most notable discoveries have been in the northern part of Israel known as the Galilee, an agriculturally rich area where Jesus grew up and spent most of his three-year ministry....
Foremost have been excavations at Sepphoris, a magnificent 1st-century city four miles from Nazareth; at Capernaum, a fishing village on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus's ministry was based; and at what may have been Bethsaida, home of three apostles and the third most-mentioned town in the Gospels.
12-13-03 - Bombshell memo written to Saddam Hussein in 2001 and recently uncovered by Iraq's new coalition government shows that lead 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta was trained in Baghdad to attack the U.S.
The memo, authored by Iraqi intelligence chief Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Tikriti, is dated July 1, 2001, and describes the "work program" undertaken by Atta at a base in Baghdad run by notorious Palestinian terrorist Abu Nidal, reports London's Sunday Telegraph, which obtained the document exclusively.
If authentic, the document would be the first explicit evidence implicating Iraq in the attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, since it makes a direct reference to what appears to be the 9/11 plot.
As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall right above where the Supreme Court judges sit a display of the Ten Commandments! There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C. James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God." Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians ... not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".
Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher .....whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.
Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.
Thomas Jefferson worried about that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law ... an oligarchy ... the rule of few over many ...
The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said, "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers." How then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 200 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional
...Sharon has accepted a U.S. proposal for an interim Palestinian state in 2004 regardless of Palestinian Authority agreement to end the violence and dismantle Palestinian terrorists. The Israeli plan would be launched in April 2004....
ROMANS 1:19-20óAre those who have never heard the gospel lost?
MISINTERPRETATION: Jesus said, "I am the way the truth life, No one comes to the Father, except through Me" (John 14:6 NIV). Also, Acts 4:12 says of Christ, "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (NASB). Will someone who has never heard the gospel of Christ be eternally lost? Paul seems to answer this in the affirmative. But is it fair to condemn people who have never heard about Christ? Some New Agers point to this problem in support of the idea that all the world religions are paths to God.
CORRECTING THE MISINTERPRETATION: Paulís answer is clear. He said the heathen are "without excuse" (Rom. 1:20) because "what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made" (1:19-20 NIV). So, the heathen are justly condemned.
Romans 2:12 states, "For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law" (NKJV). This passage teaches that the Jew is judged by the law (the Hebrew Scriptures), but the Gentile is condemned by "the law written in their hearts" (v.15). "For when Gentiles who do not have the law by nature do the things contained in the law, these, although not having the Law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them" (Rom. 2:14, 15 NKJV, emphasis added).
The question of Godís fairness in judging the heathen assumes innocence on the part of the unsaved who havenít heard the gospel. But the Bible tells us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23). In addition, Romans 1:18-20 says that God clearly reveals himself through natural revelation "so that they are without excuse." Human beings are not innocent regarding Godís natural revelation.
If a person who has not heard the gospel and lives to the best of his or her ability, that person is simply doing works in an attempt to achieve salvation. But salvation is by grace, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" (Eph. 2:8 NKJV). No one can do anything to gain access into heaven. If there was such a way, then the work of Christ on the Cross was a futile act.
The Bible says in essence, "seek and you will find." That is, those who seek the light they have through nature, which is not sufficient for salvation, will get the light they need for salvation. Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Acts 10:35 adds, "But in every nation whoever fears God and works righteousness is accepted by Him" (NKJV). God has many ways to get the truth about salvation through Christ to those who seek him. He can send a missionary (Acts 10), a radio broadcast, or a Bible (Ps. 119:130). Theoretically God could send a vision (Dan. 2, 7) or an angel (Rev. 14) though he no longer gives new revelation. But those who turn their back on the light they have (through nature) and find themselves lost in darkness have no one to blame but themselves. For "men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil" (John 3:19 NKJV).
Romans 5:18-19óDoes Paul teach universalism when he affirms that "many [all] will be made righteous"?
MISINTERPRETATION: In Romans 5:18-19 Paul wrote:
Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. [NIV]
Many liberal and some neo-orthodox scholars, such as Karl Barth, insist that this passage teaches that everyone will eventually be saved. Is this a proper understanding of the text?
CORRECTING THE MISINTERPRETATION: From these verses universalists infer that Christís death "for all" guarantees salvation "for all." This conclusion, however, is contrary to the context here and in Romans as a whole as well as to the rest of Scripture.
Even in this context Paul speaks of being "justified by faith" (5:1), not automatically by what Christ did for us. He also refers to salvation as a "gift" (5:16) that has to be received; in 5:17 he declares that salvation comes only to those who receive the gift of righteousness.
The rest of the Book of Romans makes it unmistakably clear that not everyone will be saved. Romans 1-2 speaks of the heathen who are "without excuse" (Rom. 1:20) and upon whom the wrath of God falls (1:18). It declares that "as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law" (Rom. 2:12 NKJV).
In the very heart of his argument Paul concludes that apart from justification by faith, the world is accountable before God (Rom. 3:19). Later, speaking of the destiny of both saved and lost, Paul affirms that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 6:23 NIV). Likewise, Paul recognized that, despite his prayers, not all of his kinsmen would be saved (Rom. 11:1-10) but that many would be "accursed" (Rom. 9:3). Indeed, the whole point of Romans is to show that only those who believe will be justified (Rom. 1:17; cf. 3:21-26).
Romans 9 could not be clearer that only the elect, not everyone, will be saved (cf. 9:14-26). The rest God patiently endured, waiting for them to repent (2 Peter 3:9), so they would not be "vessels of wrath prepared for destruction" (Rom. 9:22 NKJV).
Numerous passages elsewhere in Scripture speak of the eternal destiny of lost people, including the vivid passage at the end of Revelation when John said:
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books... and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyoneís name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. [Rev. 20:11-15 NIV]
There simply is no evidence for universalism in Romans 5, and it is contrary to the clear teaching of other Scriptures. Since the Bible does not contradict itself, the verses that can be interpreted in more than one way must be understood in the light of those that cannot.
