Just sending this bit along I saw posted on a newsgroup....Sounds interesting! :) Love in Christ

P.S. Even if the Rapture doesn't happen the 30th or 31st, I still know in my heart, SOMETHING is going to happen this year. So I give it until a week after your prediction as well.

LIVING WITH MOSHIACH, Weekly Digest About Moshiach

PARSHAT BAMIDBAR, Sivan 4, 5758, May 29, 1998

SPECIAL FEATURE: Your Shavuot Guide, Sivan 6-7, 5758 * May 30-June 1, 1998 *...

This Jewish year, is the year 5758 since Creation. The Hebrew letters are Hei-Taf-Shin-Nun-Ches. Over a decade ago, in the year 5742, the Rebbe stated that the Hebrew letters for that year were an acronym for "This should be the year of the coming of Moshiach."...

This year, Shavuot falls on Sunday. Thus, the first night Shavuot is Saturday night. One must be careful to light the holiday candles from a preexisting flame (a pilot light, gas or candle flame) that was burning BEFORE Shabbat.

(Note: This sounds very much like the parable of the ten virgins. Our lamps must be lit and burning brightly before the time comes.)

Now that I have found your website, please help. I know that people who are "Spiritual" are not the people who will be raptured. The only way to get to God is through His Son, Jesus. He is the only door. He is the only way. I have a family member who thinks that if you are "Good and Spiritual" then you will also go in the rapture, or be saved, but they are deceived. The are consumed with predicting the future and have been involved in the occult for many years. They read your books and believe you know what you are talking about when it comes to the end times. Please tell them that IN NO WAY can you be saved unless you are washed in the BLOOD OF JESUS!!! Hindu's , Buddists, and any other CULT that tries to enter the kingdom of God any other way is a thief and a lier! (John 10:7-8). They tell me I am judging when I tell them the truth, yet they are consistently reading your books and going to your web site. Please comment on this and let them know that I (and you) are telling the truth.

My reply

Acts 4:12 says, "neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

God is the Sovereign of this Universe. What he says goes. He planned the way man could be saved. He has said that there is no other way to be saved, and that cannot be changed under any circumstances. He has not given us any latitude here. We either do it his way or we will be lost.

In His abundant love, in that he gave his only begotten son that by believing in Him, we might receive the free gift of Salvation. All we have to do on our part is accept it. To make certain, what better way than to pray and tell God that you accept his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for this site. I stumbled on to it when my Pastor gave a sermon on the Mustard seed/tree. I was trying to find out more information about this amazing tree. Sadly there didn't seem to be any which I couldn't understand because it seemed to be the most miraculous thing I've ever heard. Still because I was actually seeking God's kingdom first I was rewarded with the knowlege that you worked so hard to discover.

I must admit it takes some getting used to and I still am not used to the idea that I have knowlege of such key future events. I pray I am ready but I can't seem to grasp the reality of what is about to happen. Thank you I would have been caught off guard had it not been for Jesus revealing your site to me.

You humbleness is astonging. I can understand why God has chosen to use you.

My reply

Thanks for your nice remarks. I would just like to be everyone's wake-up call. Wish I could get them to be ready no matter when it happens. So many seem to think that there will be plenty of time, and they may be caught napping. Jesus said, "Surely I come quickly." Scripture says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. If I can prevent some getting left behind, it will be worth all the hard work.

What the heck are you doing with people's lives?

My husband believes (from your book) that he and our daughter will be beamed up on May 31 at midnight Jerusalem time.

Needless to say, this has created chaos in our household.

What is your explanation? And please don't tell me to read your book.

My reply

First of all, it is important that we accept the free gift of Salvation that God has offered us. Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." To be certain, pray and tell Jesus you believe in him.

Since the soul that sinneth, it shall die, and we all have sinned, all mankind was lost without a Saviour.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to take the punishment due us for our sins. His perfect sacrifice took sin out of the way as an issue in Salvation. Now, the question is "What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?" (Mt. 22:42).

Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and most of the book of Revelation speak of a time that is coming soon that will be the worst seven years to hit this Earth since Adam was put upon it. "And there shall be...upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Man's hearts failing them for fear, and looking after those things which are coming on the earth."

Two pieces of an asteroid will impact Earth and wipe out civilization as we know it. The "great mountain burning with fire" of Rev. 8:8 will hit the Mediterranean Sea. "Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast" (Zeph. 2:4,5).

The "great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp" of Rev. 8:10 will destroy Babylon on the Euphrates River. Rev. 18:21 says, "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."

Luke 21:36 says, "pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Before these things start to unfold, believers are offered a chance to escape. Each person has to exercise his/her will and accept Christ to have this chance.

Before ascending to Heaven, Jesus said, "LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions (dwelling places): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:1-3).

When he comes to take us to the place he has prepared, heavenly New Jerusalem, this is what will happen, the most exciting thing that could ever happen in your lifetime. I Thess. 4:14-17 describes the Rapture: "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus (believers that have died) will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (Old English for precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

The Greek word translated "caught up" is translated "rapiemir" in the Latin Bible. Therefore, we call this catching up the Rapture in English.

This is our big chance. By believing in Christ, we not only gain eternal life, we have a chance to be among those caught up to Heaven before the terrible seven years arrive.

We have to be ready before the moment arrives. In the parable of the ten virgins, five were wise and five were foolish. When the Lord, the Bridegroom, came to get his Bride, only five were ready. They went with the Lord. They are filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit and are counted worthy to be chosen as the Bride of Christ and escape all these things. The foolish have to endure the terrible Tribulation and be caught up just before the asteroid hits Earth. The reason they are left behind the first time is because they do not have enough of the oil of the Holy Spirit.

How do we get enough of the Holy Spirit? When we first believe in Christ, we get a fresh start. Every sin we have ever committed is wiped off the books. Christ baptizes us with the Holy Spirit and because there is no sin in the way, we are full of the Holy Spirit of God.

Then, if we sin after that, we must confess all known sins to God. According to I John 1:9, God will then cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. If we are again sin free, we are filled with the Holy Spirit. Sin quenches the Spirit. We cannot lose our salvation, but the level goes down somewhat. Another thing that we should do is forgive every person that has ever wronged us, so we can likewise be forgiven. Then we are as a wise virgin, ready to go with the Lord when he comes.

If there are any questions in your mind, please feel free to ask right away. Time is getting short now. We must be ready. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

In the love Christ has for us, so much that he died to set us free,

Thank you for responding to my note (which was rather blunt, and for that I apologize -- maybe!).

***From Marilyn: I don't mind your being blunt. You are troubled and need help. May the Lord help me know how to help you. May his great love for you flow through me and out to you. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

***The problem in Judaism is that most do not accept Yeshua as their Messiah. Messianic Jews do. Over 40 Rabbis in Israel do. Between 9,000 and 15,000 in Israel accept Yeshua too. But that is not enough to prevent the Tribulation from happening. Largely, Israel still has green figs, not ready for harvesting at this first Rapture that just may take place next weekend.

Oh, WOW! there is another of those automatic capitalizations. Neither the shift key nor caps lock key is down.

Now, the Gentiles along with the Jews are offered the opportunity to be part of a select group, the Bride of Christ. As before, some will make it and others will forfeit it because of unbelief. Mankind's test is will he or won't he believe in the Messiah/Yeshua/Jesus Christ.

Don't think that God is through with the Jews. He will fulfill every promise he made to them. However, In Leviticus 26, he told them that "If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season...peace in the land...your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you...I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people....BUT if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise my break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror...And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins....I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant...I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins....I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you....And ye shall perish among the heathen."

BUT, verse 40 starts the other side of the coin. "If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me...Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob...Isaac, and...Abraham...and I will remember the land."

It is sad that the majority of them have to go through the worst seven years ever to come upon this earth since Adam was put upon it, but it is because of the stubbornness of what the Lord calls their hearts of stone. This will all change in one day. Isa. 66:8 says, "shall a nation be born at once?" and they will all turn to him at once on the Day of God's Wrath, the Feast of Trumpets, the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord.

Proverbs 30:4 says, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name (YHVH king of Israel), and what is HIS SON'S NAME (YHVH of hosts, Yehovahshua, Yahshua, Y'shua, Yeshua, Iesous, Jesus), if thou canst tell?"

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) the King of Israel, AND his redeemer the LORD (YHVH) of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." You see, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself" (II Cor. 5:19).

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD YHVH) hath laid on him (YHVH of hosts, Yeshua, "HIS SON") the iniquity of us all" (Isa. 53:5,6).

By taking the punishment due us for sin, he took sin out of the way as an issue in Salvation. Now, it is "What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?" (Matthew 22:42).

And "what is his name, and what is HIS SON'S NAME, if thou canst tell?" (Proverbs 30:4).

And he said, "I will go and return to my place (Heaven), till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early" (Hosea 5:15).

Do we have to be stubborn and wait for the Day of Wrath to decide for Christ, or can we have tender hearts and accept him now, in time to be chosen as the Bride of Christ and be able to escape all the things that are to come upon this generation?

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by accepting God's free gift to you, eternal salvation. Exercise your will and make a decision.

Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Shalom in the great love of God for us

***That is true. He won't forsake us. Jesus said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5). He doesn't promise that everything will be good either, but he will see us through. We have to be tested. But, here is what he does promise: "all things WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to them that love God" (Romans 8:28). Jesus said for us to take up our cross and follow him.

I'd better clarify something here though. The Spirit of Christ is not in us until we accept Jesus as our Saviour. At that moment, Jesus baptizes us with his Holy Spirit. We are filled with this Spirit of God. From that moment, we are never alone. We get a fresh start. Every sin that we have ever committed up to that time is wiped off the books. We are then as a wise virgin ready to be caught up to Heaven when Christ comes for the Bride of Christ.

This baptism of the Spirit of God is very much as if we were a cup (vessel) and he dipped us in the living water that symbolizes the Spirit of God and brought us up full to the brim and overflowing.

Mankind is created with a longing for God. Until he receives His Spirit within him, he is lonely in the midst of a crowd, never knowing just what it is he is seeking. When he finds God, he has an inner peace that passes all understanding.

***You can go to Heaven in the Rapture. What an adventure, what a thrill that will be. It is a better place than here. Now that Abraham has seen it, he chooses Heaven when he could have returned to Earth (Heb. 11:15,16). God promises to wipe away every tear and that we will be happy. What more could we ask? yet he has promised much much more. He formed you in your mother's womb to be one of his adopted children. Yet, he will not force himself upon you. He loves you and wants your love, but it cannot be forced. You must come to him of your own free will. If you are not happy with life as it is, why not give him a try and see how things turn out? He is offering you a free gift of salvation, but you must accept it for it to apply to you. Will you give Him a chance?

In His abundant love

It is fitting! The first person to announce the gospel (good news- he is risen) was a woman, Mary Magdalene. Fitting that it may be another woman who gives maybe the last good news, (he is coming)!

I was saved in 1948 and my Baptist preacher then said that now that Israel became a nation (May 14, 1948), Chirst could return at any time. From my study, I can see no flaw, I had always thought it would be on the fifth feast day (#5=grace) Trumpets....but I hope you are right...if not, lets pull for Sept. 98!

Thanks again for your efforts.

My reply

I think the Rapture of the Tribulation saints is on the Feast of Trumpets. Read Song of Solomon 2:10-14. That shows the first Rapture has to be in the spring when there are green figs and the firstripe grapes. The time slot is so narrow that only Pentecost will fit. It has to be the end of May or early June.

Thanks! again for all the time and energy you have expended in your studying and for sharing with those of us who didn't use our time so wisely!

Re: Christ blood on the "Mercy Seat"

I heard the same story 15 years ago by a traveling Evangelist. Please consider the following: Hebrews 9:11-12 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. (12) He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

Hebrews 9:23-24 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (24) For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence.

I believe that a careful examination of Hebrews chapter 8, 9 and 10, will show that it was not necessary for Christ blood to be placed on the mercy seat of this replica made by man's hands but was placed on the real thing, in the throne room of heaven. It was not only not necessary but God's word says it didn't happen.

About the rapture, I hope your right, but I don't believe you are, but I'll be ready even if it is tonight. You have learned a great deal in your quest for knowledge, but you seem to attract sensationalist to your cause, sensationalist who use you to get their message out.

The young Evangelist who told the exact same story 15 years ago was a very talented, gifted speaker. He didn't need sensationalism to carry him. He told many stories that sounded wonderful, but that didn't hold up when compared to God's word. Sensationalist rise and fall very quickly. Be careful!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for putting this together so well. I will put it on the Pro and Cons for all to read.

The Lord says in His word that no man/woman knows the day nor the hour. You shouldn't say you know the date because God says no man does.

My reply

The word "knows" is present tense. No man knew on that particular day.

Mt. 24:36 (KJV) says, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

Knoweth is the Greek "oida" and means recognizes. No man recognized the day or hour on that day. Neither did the angels, but the Father knew.

Jesus was speaking as a man. As God, he knew. He had planned it before he created the world.

The Hebrew word translated "turtle" should have been translated "turtledove." It is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
