This may be the most important week of all to keep watching

(2 Pet 3:3-4 KJV) "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

(Note: My sore arm will not hold up if I take out all the strange characters that show up on my Netscape 3.0 for the Mac. Someone said they did not know what I meant. That means that with other browsers, you will not see the strange characters. Good. I see them. Hope you don't.)

Hello it's me again. The one who likes to play on words. You know I use mnemonics to remember dates and names. If you use this technique for the term 'sixth of sivan' - the date of Enoch's birthdate and rapture date in English it sounds a lot like 'sixth of seven'. If the rapture is on the seventh day of the sixth month you have an interesting pun - 'sixth of sivan' -'SIXTH month on the SEVENTH day' (June 7th?)

Funny huh?

My reply

Thanks. You may be right on the money.

I expect the Rapture June 7, 1998. There is a calendar I did not know about. "The Calendar of the Orthodox Church" by Lewis Patsavos, says, "Jews originally celebrated Passover ON THE FIRST FULL MOON following the vernal equinox. Christians, therefore, celebrated Easter ON THE FIRST SUNDAY AFTER THE FIRST FULL MOON following the vernal equinox."

This year, since the full moon was Sat., April 11, that would have been the Jewish Passover. The Feast of Unleavened Bread would have been Sunday, April 12. The Feast of Firstfruits would not be the same day as Unleavened Bread. Thus, The Feast of Firstfruits would have been on the following Sunday, Apr. 19. In the countdown of the Omer, day one would have been Apr. 19. This places the 50th day, Pentecost, on June 7, and it is to be kept June 7 by the Orthodox Church.

The Rapture did not occur on May 31, 1998 as you said. It may occur on June 7 as you speculate. That would be great. I sent an email message a few days ago with Ezekial 13 as the subject. Perhaps that was too harsh. Sorry for that. I do feel, however, that your efforts are most likely in vain and that it would be more beneficial to you and others if you directed all this effort in a more direct approach to reach others for Christ. In this you could never be wrong.

My reply

Don't worry. I forgive all. I have and do pray for everyone that has sent me letters or email, good or filled with hatred. Lord, forgive them all, in Jesus' name, Amen. I have even prayed for mockers, like Bob Ross and Frank Lee Tulloch that certainly exude no love of God toward me, to make it in this Rapture. I don't want anyone left behind; what is coming is too terrible. I just want to be everyone's wake-up call; be ready and don't lose any rewards you could have had. The shepherd loves his sheep. We should love our neighbor as ourselves, no matter what they believe, but especially every one that believes the right things about Christ. The lambs should stand firm and stay with the flock now as never before. The lost one of the 99 should cry out so he will be found by the good shepherd. The Rapture can't be far away any way you look at it.

In Rev. 3:11, Jesus says, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."

I just got email from someone that mentioned the Sign of the End of the Age. Here is what he said: "The Sign of the End of the Age (S.E.A) occurred in June of 1967. In fact, it occurred somewhere from 6/5/67 thru 6/10/67. I believe Jerusalem was captured on 6/7/67 and the war ended on 6/10/67. Therefore, the generation that saw the capture of Jerusalem (either 6/7/67) or saw the successful completion of that war (6/10/67) is the generation which will see the return of Christ."

Something just about jumped off the page at me, something I had failed to see the significance of before. Look at when Israel took Jerusalem. That was the significant event. Psa. 122:3,4 (New Jerusalem Bible) says, "Jerusalem, built as a city, in ONE UNITED WHOLE, there the tribes go up, the tribes of Yahweh, A SIGN for Israel to give thanks to the name of Yahweh." The date was 6-7-67. The Orthodox Pentecost is this 6-7.

I added a separate file last night, "Rapture and Salvation," for those who do not know what this is all about. After the over 100-mile trip and reading incoming email, I was about to fall out of my chair and had to drink two cups of regular coffee to be able to do it, but uploaded it and then hit the bed for a nap. If you want to write something for unbelievers, send it to me, I will gladly put it on in a separate file. Give it a title that will grab their attention. Hurry, time is short. Let's redeem the time for the days are evil.

I thought I might have accidentally turned them on, so I erased it, turned off the caps, and was careful to see that the caps were NOT on after the L. Still it came out in all caps again]! That's another confirmation to me that what you have written about the Rapture occurring this 5-31 is from the Lord.")

I've been thinking a lot about "the delay".... and the Church being 'born' in Heaven... Usually on a a woman's first visit to her obstetrician, she is given an"espected day of delivery". Let's assume the doctor says the baby will probably come about May 31. She's expeciting the baby the whole nine months, but probably doesn't put the final getting ready into 'high gear' until Apriil or May. Her (hopefully) final office visit is May 29. At this time the doctor tells her he confirms that everything seems ready and the baby will probablyarrive on the 31st. May 31 arrives. The clock ticks, and ticks, and ticks; midnight comes, still no baby. No one would dare suggest that she wasn't really pregnant (ready). Her doctor would probably reassure her that everything was still "go" but she must wait patiently for awhile longer. {As a former L & D RN, I remember 'way back when quite a few women delivered after their 'due date'. Most delivered within a week without medical intervention.} Maybe the Church will be "delivered" (birthed in Heaven) this next weekend. No matter, it won't be long.

Have you seen the latest from Bob Ware? According to him and many others, Pentecost was mis-calculated this year! It isn't May 31 at all - it is June 7th!!!!

THE WAITING BRIDE!!! MUST SEE! I checked out the website at: which shows a live picture of the Western Wall. Well as the attached jpeg file shows their is a Bride dressed in white watching the Jews praying! Also to my surprise the picture looks as if it is taken during daylight hours but the time clock shows that it is 11:19 PM! Amazing!

Also, I did some research on why the Eastern Orthodox church sees Pentecost as being June 7 and not May 31. The Eastern Orthodox Church bases their calendar on the old Julian Calendar, the calendar in use at the time of the early church, and uses the following formula for determining when Easter is:

"Jews originally celebrated Passover on the first full moon following the vernal equinox (March 21). Christians, therefore, celebrated Easter on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox... If the full moon happens to fall on a Sunday, Easter is observed the following Sunday." see website at:

According to the Jews, the first full moon after the vernal equinox was on: April 11, the Saturday after Good Friday -- a Passover Sabbath. The Interesting thing to note is that the Eastern Orthodox Church said that the full moon was seen on Sunday April 12th, which is why Easter for the Eastern Orthodox Church was one week later and therefore Pentecost was also one week later!

I am looking forward to the Rapture on June 7!!!

God Bless You...The expecting return of Christ gave me a reality of what I should be living like. I was aware of all my deeds, actions and words. I want to continue staying that way. I was sad that I hadn't read the Bible like I should have. How could I meet Abraham or Sarah or the other saints of God and not know much of them ' cause I was too busy with worldly matters. Well, THANK YOU, I'm reading and studying much more than ever, the hunger has come back, TV programs don't mean much anymore. "Should the Lord tarry" means so much more to me now. What a wake up-call!

My reply

Thanks for sharing this. The wake-up call may not precede the arising by much. Don't hit the snooze button.

I echo the many thank you's to you for your ministry. I have been so blessed. Just wanted to share a verse the Lord gave me concerning this wait. Luke 18:8 ..."when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Let us remain faithful to look for His SOON glorious appearing! Love

Incoming Email, Re: Faithful servant

Many of us have been blest by your books and site.  Your site has encouraged me to continue looking for His return and although disappointed a few times in the past, my question this time to Him is, "If not then,... then when?"  So much seemed so right. Your scholarship can not be faulted for there certainly was support from other avenues. So....

I am reminded of Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Although you may be understandably fatigued, I would like to encourage you to keep your site open and to continue communicating with your flock.

My reply

Yes. I am tired. Went to bed at 2:20 AM last night, up before 7:00. We drove about 100 miles today to take Ed's mother to the Doctor. Have to do it again Thursday. There are so many emails to read, HTML to put on so I can upload to Web site--BUT, I appreciate the emails, my Web friends, and I will always toil for the Lord, stand firm, and wait expectantly. I will keep my Web site up as long as I have money to do it. Maybe soon, we will be in New Jerusalem and not feeling tired at all. I have always subscribed to what David Hocking said when we attended his Calvary Chapel of Santa Ana church--"Work now, you can rest later."

I want to tell you that because I was so excited about the May 31 rapture and so sure that it was going to happen, I mustered up enough courage to bring up the subject of prophecy to one of my siblings and met with an openess that has not been there in our adult lifetime. Only the Lord knows if a decision will be made soon and in time. I ask the prayers of all of you out there.

This coming weekend I will be as excited as last, if not, more. It's a wonderful way to live, so expectant that I look up into the sky periodically. Thank you for sharing your insights with us. I'm looking forward to meeting you this weekend!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that this sibling will not only accept Christ, but will be caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

I will state this as best I am able. Have you considered the Jews were scatered and lost practice of the feasts around 70 AD. Perhaps the calendar had been perverted in time. I don't know how much work has been done it this direction.

I still have faith that we will see Our Lord this year! Love always in Christ

My reply

It seems that the calendar is the problem. Keep watching for this weekend, the Greek Orthodox Pentecost....See you in New Jerusalem either this week or this year. The Jubilee is a whole year.

FWD: Biblical Pentecost Vs. Traditional Pentecost (, Mon 7:35 PM)

There are literally thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of Christians who were greatly disappointed this morning when the calendar date of Pentecost came and went with no Firstfruits Rapture. When I woke up in my bed this morning--instead of heaven--I was briefly devastated as I made my way to the shower to dress for work still under the curse. I asked the Lord how this could go on for another year, when it suddenly struck me that Passover was on a Saturday this year, which is a weekly Sabbath. I mentally went through the calculations for the first four feasts, and I was overwhelmed--to say the least--to realize that May 31st was not Pentecost. My depression turned into joy and then jubilance as I dressed for work and drove the 10 miles to my tentmaking job. At work I got my calendar out and carefully plotted the first four feasts. Yes, it was true. Pentecost is June 7th. I began calling the members of our church to explain the error, since I knew many of them would also be distraught. I was a little ashamed that I had not done a detailed calculation of this before this morning, but I had just gone along with the majority who were saying that it was May 31st. The calendar also showed May 31st. Anyway, it was ordained that we all go by the wrong date to fulfill the Scriptures. The following is the primary one that needed to be fulfilled:

(Mat 24:44 KJV) Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

There is another Scripture that bothered me as I did not understand it. It is as follows:

(Song 3:1 KJV) By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
(Song 3:2 KJV) I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
(Song 3:3 KJV) The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
(Song 3:4 KJV) It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
(Song 3:5 KJV) I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

Please note that the bride was expecting the Beloved, but He did not show and she was distraught for a little bit of time until she found Him. This little bit of time may be this week when so many faithful Christians expected Him but He did not show. Hopefully, this weekend, we will be with our Beloved Savior.

Will the Firstfruits Rapture take place this coming weekend on the true Biblical Pentecost? I do not know that for sure, but I do know that this coming Sunday on June 7th is Pentecost, and virtually all of the pieces are in place for it to happen. Also, the seven weeks of Daniels Seventy weeks are up, the early and the latter rains are over, spring is here, and summer is nigh. The Raiser of Taxes is on the verge of impeachment, and the Vile Person has revealed to us in his profile that he is ready to be Captain of the earth. The EU has announced its initial members in the EMU and the EURO is scheduled for January 1999. If you have fellow Christians who are not awake yet, it would be a good time to nudge them a little.

For those in doubt about the correct date of Pentecost, I provide the following information:

Saturday April 11th was Passover--the 1st Feastdate

Sunday April 12th was Unleavened Bread--the 2nd Feastdate (The Seven Days of Unleavened Bread was April 12th--18th, or Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat) Please note that the Sabbath Day was Saturday April 18th during the seven days of Unleavened Bread. This is important for the Feast of Firstfruits occurs on the day after the Sabbath day, which is April 19th. You may recall that Easter was April 12th. The year 1998 just happens to be one of those years when Easter and the Feast of Firstfruits are not on the same Sunday.

Sunday April 19th was the Feast of Firstfruits--the 3rd Feastdate

Sunday June 7th is the Feast of Pentecost--the 4th Feastdate
(Pentecost is exactly seven weeks from the Feast of Firstfruits--NOT EASTER AS CHURCH TRADITION TEACHES. Please see Leviticus 23 for the Scriptures on the Seven Feasts.

Please write these dates on a calendar to be able to see them more clearly. If May 31st had been the correct Pentecost, then the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Firstfruits would have both been on April 12th. This violates the Scriptures.

I would be glad to clarify this further for anyone.

About the caps, as mentioned to you last year, my prior computer ALWAYS would change the work Lord to LORD when typing a scripture including that word published as LORD. I would type Lord then watch the typing change to LORD after finishing the word. Without fail. It raised the hair on the back of my neck every time it happened.

About the 7 day wait. This week I have had repeated reminders of past behavior that I have failed to get under the blood in the past and have felt urgently prompted to confess and receive forgiveness NOW, in this life, rather than to face God with them unconfessed. How awful to meet the LORD with unconfessed sin! I am grateful that the Holy Spirit is being kind enough to take advantage of this time to bring these matters to my attention, many long forgotten until now. I pray that He will continue to show me others in the remaining time. Had the rapture occurred on May 30 these would not have gone before me through the blood, but I'd have dragged those sins with me into His Holy presence, uncovered by the blood. Thank you, Jesus!!!!

PS dead in Christ

Another note about Sat-Sun night, May 30,31. I stayed up until a little after 3 A.M. Sun, working to get my affairs in order. After falling asleep I was awakened abruptly as it felt that my bed had been lifted then dropped with a "thud". I exclaimed out loud, "The dead in Christ are being raised."

I looked at the faintly-lit electric clock about 15 feet away and the hands were between 4:40 and 4:45 CDT. I couldn't tell exactly where. I was reminded of someone who had written on the 5 Doves' site that the number 4:44 keep coming up on his digital clock and that he was seeing 444's in different places. Another person wrote that she also had been seeing 444's. John Tng wrote that he had found significance in that number and would be publishing his findings soon. To date I have not seen those findings there.

I later concluded about my bed's being jolted that it must have been an earthquake (we are over a lesser fault line). Then I wondered why I had felt no small aftershocks, as usually occur.

--- called Sun. and said that she had been awakened at 2 AM EDT seeing a display of squares that darkened and lightened to form faces before they disappeared in a swirl. She then opened her Bible at random, asking the Lord to show her something. Matthew 27th chapter opened, vv. 51-53, "And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."

She pointed out that the saints were awakened at the time of Jesus' crucifixion and did not come out into the city until AFTER Jesus was resurrected. She said that there appeared to be a time span between the two events. It was interesting that she came upon that thought the same night that I thought that the resurrection of the dead in Christ had occurred. We are to join the resurrected in Christ, meeting them in the air. I am curious about all of this since we both had related experiences, unbeknownst to the other, at about the same time. We'll soon see. Much love

We're still waiting and hoping along with you. Something interesting to point out -- I'm reading a book called "Feasts of the Lord" by Kevin Howard and Marvin Rosenthal. It basically says that all the spring feasts of the Lord have been fulfilled and only the autumn feasts are yet to be. He said Shavuot was fulfilled by Jesus in Matthew 26:28-29. He also contends that the first autumn feast (Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Feast of the Trumpet) will be fulfilled by the rapture of the church. This year it occurs on Monday, September 21. What do you think about this? This seems to be at odds with the "Arise, my love..." from Songs but maybe that has to do with the resurrection of Jesus or maybe the second rapture? Please respond. Thank you.

My reply

Trumpets has to do with the second Rapture. It is the Day of God's Wrath. The Tribulation saints get out before the asteroid strikes at noon that first day of the millennial Day of the Lord.

Time is short. Be READY for the Rapture, whenever it is. We need to be pure in His sight, confess our sins and forgive others that have sinned against us.

Greetings in the name of Christ. I, like you, and so many others, was disappointed, heartbroken, when the rapture didn't occur May 31. But I began thinking... could that day have been the "Midnight Call"....the wakeup for the ten virgins...and that "as in the days of Noah...we will wait for seven days?" That perhaps this coming weekend...we indeed will see Him as He is? There were so many questions...and so much debate about time zones...and when it would happen. If May 31 was the wakeup call...then the rapture could happen at the exact time all over the world this weekend...couldn't it? I'm hoping to not appear as grasping for straws... I'm just longing for His return. Let me know what your thoughts are...I value your wisdom.

Incoming Email, Re: Fine Tuning!!!

Of course it's not all over yet!!! We've got to keep tuned in, and fine-tune everything as the Lord reveals and allows.

It takes a lot of courage and conviction to be as positive as you have been. Through it many people have been woken up to the fact of our Lord's soon return - otherwise they would have been asleep even now!

We don't see it all - and probably won't until the very last minute, but isn't it wonderful that we have had these "wake up" calls from the Lord which have certainly done marvellous things. Now let's encourage and support each other - all the more as we see the day approaching so rapidly.

It's not a case of IF .... but WHEN - and that's quite soon now.

Let's hope and pray that it is this Sunday - but if it is not, don't despair, take courage and keep searching!! The Lord is faithful, and all things are working together for good, to those who love Him (and His appearing). Maranatha!!! Very best regards.

... and many others in England who are eagerly watching and waiting.

About your "mouse" pain, Get a Logitec brand MARBLE trackball!!! Accept no substitute. It has a red ball with black dots on it priced at about $90. It uses an infra-red light beam reflected off of the ball to move the curser (no moving internal parts). It only needs cleaning when the ball gets hard to roll (about once a year for me). The curser NEVER fails to move exactly where your thumb commands it to go. If you set the "Mouseware" software driver (included) to a rapid acceleration rate then with just a slight twitch of your thumb you will send the curser all of the way off the screen. I can't say enough good things about it including the fact that you can operate it from your lap if you wish. I think it may reduce your "mouse" pain. If you have tried trackballs before be warned: THIS ONE REALLY WORKS!

Keep up the great work and please don't close up your website yet (prior to the rapture anyway) ;-) It has been a tremendious inspiration to me. Whether the first rapture comes seven miniutes or fully 700 years from now I could still die before that Mighty Trumpet sounds. I had never considered that this life is just a test. A test of our willingness to obey God and our willingness to accept the Salvation offered by his Son, Jesus Christ. At any moment the Great Test Proctor could call "time's up, turn in your work NOW!" on any one of us. Either by rapture or by death. You have shown me how this is an IMMEDIATE personal situation for each of us.

If the rapture comes soon I hope to go. Because I won't be the judge of that, (only He who is The Rightous and Just One can be the judge) I'll probably be over in the bon-fire line getting my wicked worldly works destroyed by fire if I make the first cut. I have foolishly allowed myself to be decieved since my salvation nearly twenty years ago. Until I found your website a few weeks back I was severely backslidden and struggling to get up. I should have known better and there is no excuse for my forsaking serving Christ. I have ask for forgivenes and have since sucessfuly repented- yet I still have little or no treasure stored in heaven and many souls may be lost to Hell forever because of my worldly wanderings and my past failure to serve our Lord. I now would rather be a crownless pauper in heaven instead of what would have certainly been my "wages" if I had not repented. I now see that I had the opportunity to be a mighty servant of God with nearly twenty years of service, but I threw it away by refusing to listen and obey Him.

If our Lord tarries a little longer then some reawakened fools like me may have a chance to work toward pleasing our Father and entering His Kingdom with at least a few good works to show.

To your detractors I ask: What have YOU done to save the lost and backslidden? Are YOU sure you are going to make the grade? If so, are you going to be in the bon-fire line or are you going to be richly rewarded for YOUR good works? Where are these good works and how can they help a fool like me?

Watching, waiting and working. thanks

My reply

Thanks very much for sharing. If I am here next week, I will do my best to get the trackball.
