I thought the Rapture would be May 31, 1998 (Pentecost) and the Day of the Lord Sept. 13, 2007 (Feast of Trumpets). What was wrong? probably taking a generation as the same as the 40 years in the wilderness, rather than 48.33, as determined from Mt. 1:17.
Adding 48 years to 1967 = 2015. The ending year must be a Hebrew Leap Year, because there are 7 months (Eze. 39:12,13) between the Day of God's Wrath on the Feast of Trumpets (Tishri 1) and the following Nisan 1 (Second Advent) on the first day of the Hebrew Regnal and Sacred Year.
Within this 48-year range, we have left only 2 Hebrew Leap Years, 5771 (2010/2011) and 5774 (2013/2014). I'm hoping Sept. 9, 2010 will be the year the Day of the Lord takes place on the Feast of Trumpets. That would make the Second Advent on Nisan 1, seven months later, on April 5, 2011.
I subtracted the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 from April 5, 2011 and got Dec. 17, 2004. I'm hoping for the Rapture that day. We don't have long to wait to see if Dec. 17 is the day we have been waiting for....
If not then, the other chance could be in 5774 (2013/2014). Subtracting 2300 days from Nisan 1, 5774 (April 1, 2014) is Thurs., Dec. 14, 2006....
On Dec. 16/17, 2004, Saturn (Heaven) will be in Gemini. I think that is the sign of the Rapture. It pictures the Bride and Bridegroom sitting together in heavenly places. Eph. 2:6 says that God "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." It would be very appropriate for the real Heaven to be in Gemini at the Rapture. Saturn will be in Gemini until about July 1, 2005. I'm hoping for the Rapture between now and then.
On Thur., Dec. 14, 2006, Saturn will be in Leo. To me, that does not paint as good a picture for the Rapture as Gemini.
In Gemini, the Bride is holding a lyre, a symbol of the redeemed. I think the pair is supposed to be seated on the ecliptic, the path Saturn orbits in. With Saturn in Gemini, it suggests to me that the Bride and Bridegroom are seated together in Heaven.
We voted for Bush and are very relieved that he won. To us, the alternative was unthinkable.

Amman: The ruins were first discovered during an archaeological survey at the south-east end of the Dead Sea in 1986, near a spring named Ain Abata. After further investigations it was evident that the site - near today's Ghor al-Safi, the biblical city of Zoara - was none other that the Sanctuary of Agios ("Saint") Lot. Biblical scholars and archaeologists have sought the site for decades.
Within a year of the discovery and identification of Deir Ain Abata ("Monastery of the Abbot's Spring") an international team of archaeologists was assembled to excavate and study the site. After more than 10 years of excavations and research, the final report is about to be published....
The site is located on a steep mountain slope 3 kilometers southeast of the Dead Sea. At its archaeological center (and historic religious focus) is a cave, discovered in the north aisle of the basilica later erected on the site. Early Christians - drawing on Genesis chapter 19 of the Old Testament - believed Lot and his two daughters lived here after their flight from sinful Sodom and their brief stop at Zoar....
A number of fine architectural pieces were also retrieved, among which was a block inscribed in Greek invoking Saint Lot to bless Sozomenou, Ulpious and a third indistinguishable name. The inscription, written by three monks who probably lived at the site, was the FIRST DECISIVE EVIDENCE of Lot's association with Deir Ain Abata. Other Greek inscriptions also invoked Lot's blessing....
I am confused about 2 things:
1. In you P&C 1156 I read again how the Magi saw the astronomical signs and concluded that a King was being born in Israel, and how that the star/comet stood above Bethlehem. Whether it was a conjunction, a comet or a nova, I am very unclear how any astronomical sign can be pinpointed to be over a particular place on Earth. How, and why, did the Magi, and you, arrive at the conclusion that this very distant (in earthly measurements) astronomical event was located over Bethlehem/Jerusalem?
2. As I watched the latest lunar eclipse on 10-27-2004, I was reminded of the Scripture in Joel,
Joel 2:30-32 says, "I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible Day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call."
I think it's possible that the "..moon (being turned) into blood, .." refers to a lunar eclipse, and the "..sun (being) turned into darkness, .." refers to the fact that it is nighttime from the vantage of the blood moon. The sequence in Joel is logical: First, the Sun goes down, i.e., the Earth has revolved so it is dark on the observer's side. Second, from the observer's vantage, the eclipse happens, which is only possible if it's dark. Also, " .. pillars of smoke .." are necessary for a blood moon to occur. The Moon gets its red/orange tint during and eclipse by the atmospheric conditions on Earth, e.g. pollution, dust, etc Maybe a lunar eclipse is somehow a sign, a benchmark, for the Day of the Lord.What do you think? You and me both. The part where the star reappears, leads them to Bethlehem, then stands over the house must be the Shekinah Glory. Therefore, I have decided that "HIS STAR in the east" was probably the Shekinah Glory too. It must have been spectacular, something out of the ordinary, to cause the Wise Men to make a four-month trip.

If the Day of the Lord was Sept. 8, 2010, there still wouldn't be a Lunar Eclipse. It's the day of the conjuction, but the Moon will pass below the Sun instead of in front of it. The Hebrew Calendar converters say that Tishri 1 will fall on Sept. 9 in 2010, but the Moon will not be under Virgo's feet until the 12th. Either Thursday Sept. 9 or Sunday the 12th could be the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of the Lord.
That passage in Joel parallels the breaking of the 6th seal. Rev. 6:12-17 says, "I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood (because of the smoke); And the stars (flaming stones cast down when the binary asteroid breaks apart) of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from THE FACE OF HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE (it's the day the Sign of the Son of Man is seen in the sky (Mt. 24:30), Coronation Day, the Day of the Lord, the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ, and the Day of God's Wrath), and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME (Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets); and who shall be able to stand?"
Now read that passage in Joel again. You will see the parallels. Joel 2:30-32 says, "I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before (i.e., on the Eve of Trumpets) the great and terrible Day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be DELIVERED (this is the Pre-Wrath Rapture): for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." How he could post this on 5 October 2004, I don't know (2004 + 7 = 2011). The Great Tribulation will be shortened, so the Hebrew 5771 (our 2010/2011) seems most likely to me now. Counting back 2300 days from April 5, 2011 (Nisan 1, 5771), would put the Rapture on Dec. 17, 2004. I sure hope it will turn out that way, but will not be discouraged if it doesn't happen then. I know it will happen at the very best time. That's the way the Lord works, and I wouldn't change his plans if I could.
According to the present mathematically calculated Hebrew Calendar, Tishri 1, 5771, will be Sept. 9, 2010. That could be the Day of the Lord and the Day of God's Wrath. The date shown for Nisan 1, 5771, is April 5, 2011. That could be the Second Advent. Agape
First, I'll tell you what I think Ezekiel's vision is talking about, so you can see the difference when you read the other accounts.
Ezekiel said, "THE HEAVENS WERE OPENED, AND I SAW VISIONS OF GOD." Therefore the vision is of the heavens. The visions of God are of the Lord Jesus Christ on his heavenly throne.
The "FIRE ENFOLDING ITSELF" in Eze. 1:4 is the Sun. The "brightness... about it" is sunshine. Ezekiel also mentioned "the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire." That fits the Sun. Understanding this verse gives us the right perspective to understand the rest of chapter 1. We are reading about things in our own Solar System, things that orbit the central Sun in concentric circles.
The part of the Solar System we are reading about first in Ezekiel 1 is the bright amber central Sun and the four inner orbits of the terrestrial planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars, around it. The Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter is represented by the whirling cloud.
The cheribim, literally called lively things because they fly, are the four terrestrial planets, and the wheels within wheels are their orbits. All four "had the likeness of a man (adam, meaning red clay). Therefore, we know that they are the terrestrial planets.
Each one is a sphere. Therefore it faced all four cardinal directions. Each sphere had 4 quarters portrayed as wings. Their outer borders, extremities, were smooth and their visual disk was round. "And they had the hands (extremities) of a man (adam, red clay) on all four sides. Therefore, they are the terrestrial planets.
These spheres fly along their orbits in orderly fashion, not turning away. Having four quarters, or faces, each sphere faces the four cardinal directions. It faces them in turn in its circular orbit also. The flags set around the Tabernacle at the cardinal points of the compass had on them these four faces, a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle.
To Ezekiel, the flying spheres in the sky looked like burning coals of fire or lamps. According to Josephus, the Sun and six planets were depicted on the lampstand in the Temple as lamps (Ant. III. VI. 7).
The western lamp that portrayed the Sun was to be kept burning. The other planets represented by the lamps were Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
In verse 13, an asteroid "went up and down among the living creatures (lively planets). It is the "flaming sword" set to the east of Eden along with the cherubim in Gen. 3:24. The planets (cherubim) always rise in the east.
Eze. 1:15 says, "as I beheld the living creatures (lively things, the planets), behold ONE WHEEL UPON THE EARTH." Then Earth is one of the four flying spheres. Its orbit is its wheel.
In verse 16, their "appearance and their work was as it were (symbolic language) A WHEEL IN THE MIDDLE OF A WHEEL." The orbits of the four terrestrial planets formed concentric circles around the central Sun. In verse 18 "their rings (orbits) were full of eyes (were full orbs, spheres)".
Above the heads of the terrestrial planets, i.e., farther out in the "firmament" (expanse of space), was "the likeness of a throne (i.e., the 7th lamp on the candlestick, Saturn), as the appearance of a sapphire stone (meaning dear to the planet Saturn, from the Sanskrit Sani, Saturn, and priya, dear): and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (Jesus Christ) above upon it" (1:26).
From the equator upward and downward was the color of amber, and Saturn has amber on it. We can see that in pictures taken by the Cassini mission that is now orbiting Saturn.
Then, verses 27 and 28 describe "the brightness round about" Saturn, i.e., its ring system. Verse 28 says, "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about (both the rainbow and Saturn's rings are made visible and colorful by the sunshine on ice crystals). This was the appearance of the glory of the LORD." Heaven has a halo, and I believe that Saturn is Christ's throne.
Eze. 1:26 ties in with Ex. 24:10, which says, "they saw the God of Israel (YHWH of hosts, i.e., the pre-incarnate Christ, Isa. 44:6); and there was UNDER HIS FEET as it were (symbolic language) A PAVED WORK OF A SAPPHIRE STONE, and as it were the body of heaven (THE HEAVENLY BODY, i.e., Saturn) in his clearness."
This interpretation agrees with Scripture.
THE LORD DWELLS BETWEEN TWO CHERUBIM, BETWEEN JUPITER AND URANUS, AS DEPICTED ON THE ARK
Exodus 25:22 says, "there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from BETWEEN THE TWO CHERUBIMS which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel”
Psalm 80:1 says, “Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel (Jesus Christ), thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that DWELLEST BETWEEN THE CHERUBIMS, shine forth”.
THE LORD IS ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, i.e., ON SATURN
2 Sam 6:2 And David arose and went with all the people who were with him to Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God which is called by the Name, the very name of THE LORD OF HOSTS (the Redeemer, Christ, Isa. 44:6) WHO IS ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM (on Saturn, above the terrestrial planets of Eze. 1).
2 Ki 19:15 says, "Hezekiah prayed before the LORD and said, "O LORD, the God of Israel (YHWH king of Israel, YAHshua, the Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Isa. 44:6), Who art ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, Thou art the God, Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. Thou hast made heaven and earth."
1 Chr 13:6 says, "David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath- jearim, which belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, the LORD (YHWH of hosts, YAHshua, Jesus Christ, Isa. 44:6) Who is ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, where His name is called." Ps 80:1 says, "Oh, give ear, Shepherd of Israel (YAHshua, Jesus Christ), Thou who dost lead Joseph like a flock; Thou Who art ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, shine forth!"
Ps 99:1 says, "The LORD reigns, let the peoples tremble; He is ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, let the earth shake!"
Isa 37:16 says, "O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel (Jesus Christ, Isa. 44:6, Who art ENTHRONED ABOVE THE CHERUBIM, THOU ART THE GOD, Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. Thou hast made heaven and earth."
Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I AM THE FIRST (YHWH King of Israel), AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, YAHshua, Jesus Christ); AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD."
Isa. 45:21,22 says, "who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else."
I was searching for Shekinah. The words Rapture and Trinity do not appear in the Bible. They are words we use to describe the catching up and the tri-unity of God. In the same way, the word Shekinah does not appear in the Bible. It is based on the Hebrew verb, shakan, which means to dwell. It is what the Jew's call the fire by night and cloud by day that was seen above the Tabernacle in the wilderness, also the presence of the Lord in the Temple.

Read what Fred P. Miller says below. It seems that he thought the whole vision in Eze. 1 was just describing the Shekinah Glory.

"Ezekiel's description of the "Shekinah" in chapter one of his prophecy is physically exciting just to read. Imagine actually seeing it! It is described as FIRE ENFOLDING ITSELF borne by cherubic creatures whose appearance pulsated with undulating light, themselves borne by gyroscopic double wheels. Lightning came out of the midst of the fire surrounded by clear sapphire where a man-like person on a throne sat in an electric eye. If electricity is anachronistic, the word is nonetheless "chashmal" which is the modern Hebrew word for electricity. The Septuagint has "electrum" and so does the Vulgate! Whatever "chashmal" and "electrum" meant to the ancients who used these words it can only be said that "eyn chashmal" in Hebrew and "opsin electrou" in Greek and "speciem electri" found in Latin in Eze. 1:27 is not "amber" as in the English translation. The word "color" does not appear in the text."

"SHEKINAH, a Hebrew word meaning that which dwells or the dwelling. It is one of the expressions used in the Targums in place of God.
"In the Targums.The word Shekinah is of constant occurrence in the Tar gums or Aramaic paraphrases of the Biblical lections that were read in the synagogue-service to the people. Great care was taken by the scribes in these renderings to mitigate the anthropomorphic expressions applied to God in the Scriptures, and by paraphrase, the use of abstract terms and indirect phraseology, to prevent such expressions from giving rise to erroneous views as to Gods personal manifestation in the popular mind. Whenever, e.g. any indication of local limitation or action was implied or expressed, in the Hebrew text, of God the Targumists were careful to substitite some expression involving the use of Shekinah. In these connections Shekinah thus becomes the equivalent of God or its synonyms. One or two examples will make the Targum-usage clear. Thus Ex. xxix. 45 (and I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God) is rendered in the Targum (Onkelos): And I will cause my Shekinak to dwell in the midst of the children of Israel, and I will be their God. I 7 ( thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty ) is rendered (Targum of Jonathan): Thine eyes shall see the Shekinah of the king of the worlds in His beauty. So too hiding the face when used of God is regularly paraphrased remove His Shekinah (Is. lvii. 17, viii. 17, lix. 2; Jer. xxxiii. 5; cf. Is. i. 15, &c.)."

"When God materializes on earth this is called the "Glory of the Lord" or "Shekinah Glory". This appearance is a very rare event. The following writer thinks the cherubim are strange angelic beings.
