The only other son of perdition was Judas Iscariot. Satan entered into him, and will enter into the final son of perdition. Judas was a thief. The False Prophet will also be a thief.
In Isa. 10:13,14, "he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people (probably by putting them all under the World Government), and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are LEFT, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped." Since the Christians are forbidden to take the Mark of the Beast to be able to buy or sell, it looks like The Beast will confiscate what is left in their bank accounts.
Zech. 5:3,4 says, "This (the binary asteroid) is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it (symbolized by one stone tablet in the Ark); and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it (the other stone tablet with the commandments on it). I will bring it (the curse, the binary asteroid) forth (Rev. 8:8,10), saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the THIEF (the False Prophet), and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name (the Tribulation Pope): and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof."
Rev. 18:21 says, "And a mighty angel took up a STONE like a great millstone (one of a pair), and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."
The other stone will impact the Mediterranean Sea. Zeph. 2:1-5 says, "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired (Israel); Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid (i.e., be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture) in the day of the LORD's anger (the Feast of Trumpets). For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the NOON DAY, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast". Agape
I found the four quotes below on the Internet. The 1st two writers, like many others, are convinced that the first beast of Rev. 13 is the Antichrist. Since in Mt. 24:24, Jesus said, "there shall arise FALSE CHRISTS, and FALSE PROPHETS," they assume that the 1st beast of Rev. 13 is the Antichrist, and the 2nd beast of Rev. 13 is the False Prophet. I John 2:18 says, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that ANTICHRIST (lit., THE ANTICHRIST) shall come, even now are there MANY ANTICHRISTS; whereby we know that it is the last time. The plurals, "false Christs," "false prophets," and "many antichrists," don't pinpoint exactly which beast of Rev. 13 is THE ANTICHRIST. We need to keep an open mind and search further.
The 3rd quote below is from the Catholic Encyclopedia. I was just surprised to see how many early Protestants they listed as equating the Antichrist with the Pope.
The 4th quote below thinks the prince of Dan. 9:27 is the False Prophet, as I do. My comments follow it.
(1) "The Antichrist...the Two Beasts"
"Chapter 13 of Revelation describes the Two Beasts:
- THE FIRST BEAST IS THE ANTICHRIST.
- The Second Beast is called the False Prophet in Rev.16:13.
- Both of them, with the Dragon (Satan) of 16:13, form the Satanic Trinity"...
(2) "The Antichrist"
"...it is generally agreed among those students of prophecy who belong to the Futurist school, that THE RIDER UPON THE FOUR HORSES IN REVELATION 6 IS THE ANTICHRIST. If this be the case, then we have further proof that the Antichrist and the Head of the revived Roman Empire is one and the same person. This may be seen by comparing three scriptures. In Revelation 6:8, of the rider on "the pale horse," we read, "His name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him." In Isaiah 28:18, those who will be in Jerusalem during the Tribulation period are addressed by Jehovah as follows: "And your covenant with Death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with Hell shall not stand." What "covenant" can this be, except the one mentioned in Daniel 9:27, where we read of the Roman Prince (the Head of the revived Roman Empire) confirming the covenant with the many for seven years? Now reverse the order of these three passages, and what do we learn? In Daniel 9:27 we learn that the Head of the Roman Empire makes a covenant with the Jews. In Isaiah 28:18 this covenant is said to have been made with Death and Hell." While in Revelation 6:8 THE RIDER ON THE PALE HORSE (WHOM IT IS GENERALLY ADMITTED IS THE ANTICHRIST) IS NAMED "DEATH AND HELL." Hence, from whatever angle we approach the subject it is seen that the Antichrist is the Head of the fourth world-kingdom."
"What then is the true ecclesiastical concept of Antichrist? Suarez maintains that it is of faith that Antichrist is an individual person, a signal enemy of Christ. This excludes the contention of those who explain Antichrist either as the whole collection of those who oppose Jesus Christ, or as the Papacy. The Waldensian and Albigensian heretics, as well as Wyclif and Hus, called the Pope by the name of Antichrist; but the expression was only a metaphor in their case. It was only after the time of the Reformation that the name was applied to the Pope in its proper sense. It then passed practically into the creed of the Lutherans, and has been seriously defended by them as late as 1861 in the "Zeitschrift für lutherische Theologie"....
"A third opinion admitted that the Antichrist must indeed appear in a concrete form, but it identified this concrete form with the system of the Papacy. Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Melanchthon, Bucer, Beza, Calixtus, Bengel, Michaelis, and almost all the Protestant writers of the Continent are cited as upholding this view; the same may be said of the English theologians Cranmer, Latimer, Ridley, Hooper, Hutchinson, Tyndale, Sandys, Philpot, Jewell, Rogers, Fulke, Bradford, King James, and Andrewes. Bramhall introduced qualifications into the theory, and after this its ascendancy began to wane among English writers. Nor must it be supposed that the Papal-Antichrist theory was upheld by all Protestants in the same form; the False Prophet or second Apocalyptic Beast is identified with Antichrist and the Papacy by Aretius, Foxe, Napier Mede, Jurieu, Cunninghame, Faber, Woodhouse, and Habershon; the first Apocalyptic Beast holds this position in the opinion of Marlorat, King James, Daubuz, and Galloway; both Beasts are thus identified by Brightman, Pareus, Vitringa, Gill, Bachmair, Fraser, Croly, Fysh, and Elliott."...
(4) The False Prophet: The Biblical Data
"Daniel 9:27 is a prophecy of a future Roman prince who will erect an image known as the "Abomination of Desolation,"
"He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
"The Abomination of Desolation is referred to by Jesus Christ as the high point of the Tribulation period in Matthew 24:15-21. The majority of scholars understand that the Abomination of Desolation is the same as the "image of the beast" that is erected in Revelation 13:14, which also indicates that the setting up of the image is the high point of the Tribulation. Revelation confirms that IT IS THE FALSE PROPHET WHO DIRECTLY ORDERS THAT THE ABOMINATION BE ERECTED, THEREFORE THE ROMAN PRINCE OF DANIEL 9:27, WHO IS SHOWN SETTING UP THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, IS THE FALSE PROPHET."...
This final seven year period will begin when the future Roman prince "confirms a covenant" that will involve the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. This researcher has been led to the belief that THIS FUTURE ROMAN PRINCE WILL BE THE FALSE PROPHET of bible prophecy, and that he may indeed be a leader of the post-rapture apostate Roman Catholic Church. It is clear from scripture that the False Prophet will be a powerful and well respected spiritual leader and there is none more powerful or more respected in religious matters than the Roman Catholic Pope.
The KJV, Scofield Study Bible, 1st edition, with C.I. Scofield's notes, says, "ANTICHRIST" in the margin when referring to the "FALSE PROPHET" in Rev. 16:13 and 19:20. (emphasis mine) I agree with Scofield that The Antichrist is the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18.
Rev. 16:13 says, "I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the DRAGON, and out of the mouth of the BEAST, and out of the mouth of the FALSE PROPHET." This is the so-called Satanic Trinity, but which is THE Antichrist is not revealed here."
Rev. 19:20 says, "the BEAST was taken, and with him the FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles (Rev. 13:14) before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." This doesn't tell us which is THE Antichrist either.
The second writer said, "THE RIDER UPON THE FOUR HORSES IN REVELATION 6 IS THE ANTICHRIST." I don't believe that the 4th rider is the same as the 1st rider. The 1st has a bow" (toxon, simple fabric, i.e., he is a a man of the cloth, a religious leader, the Tribulation Pope, the 1st beast of Rev. 13). A bow is not mentioned in connection with the 4th rider.
Matthew 7:15 says, "Beware of FALSE PROPHETS, WHICH COME TO YOU IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING (i.e., as men of the cloth, religious leaders), but inwardly they are ravening wolves." It looks like both beasts of Rev. 13 are religious leaders. They are also the 6th and 7th kings of Rev. 17:10.
Only the 4th rider, the one on the pale horse, is called "Death and has "Hell" (Satan) with him. To me, this is the "son of perdition," the Satan-possessed False Prophet, who sits in the Temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:3,4). Satan is the one that wants to be worshiped as God. The 1st beast, which I think is the Roman-Catholic Tribulation Pope, only claims to be the "Vicar of Christ," one serving as a substitute or agent of Christ.
Isa. 28:15-18 says, "Because ye have said, We have made a COVENANT with DEATH (i.e., the Satan-possessed False Prophet), and with HELL (Satan) are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood ('the prophet that teacheth lies,' Isa. 9:15) have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And YOUR COVENANT WITH DEATH (the Satan-possessed False Prophet) shall be disannulled, and YOUR AGREEMENT WITH HELL (Satan) shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it."
Isa. 9:15 says, "The ancient and honourable (i.e., the Tribulation Pope), he is the head (6th head of the great red dragon); and the prophet that teacheth lies (7th head of the great red dragon), he is the tail" (because he has Satan, the tail of the great red dragon, in him).
The agreement to strengthen the peace covenant of Dan. 9:27 is made with the False Prophet, for when he sits in the Temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4), "in the midst of the week (7-year Tribulation) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (Dan. 9:27). Others agreeing to the strengthening of the peace covenant are The Beast of Rev. 13:4-10 (i.e., the Tribulation Pope), plus maybe the EU and the UN.
I think the False Prophet is "the prince that shall come" of Dan. 9:26. But, aren't the Romans his people that destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD?
Yes. Remember that The present Pope is the head of the Ecclesiastical Roman Empire. Therefore, he is classed as a Roman even though his native country is Poland.
By taking over "all the power of the first beast" (Rev. 13:12), the False Prophet will become the acting head of the Roman Ecclesiastical Empire. He will be classed as a Roman, just as the Polish John Paul II is now.
Rev. 13:1 says, "I stood upon the sand of the sea (nations and people, Rev. 17:15), and saw a beast (the great red dragon, 12:3) rise up out of the sea (i.e., the Holy See), having seven heads (7 kings) and ten horns (10 subordinate kings in the end time), and upon his horns ten crowns (i.e., the Tribulation is beginning), and upon his heads (all 7, including the 6th and 7th kings) the name of blasphemy" (Pontifex Maximus).
The 7-headed great red dragon himself is called the beast out of the sea . Therefore, it's not so strange to find out that the Pontifex Maximus, head of the Ecclesiastic Roman Empire, comes out of the Holy See.
The seven heads "are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is (the Tribulation Pope, the 6th king), and the other (the False Prophet, the 7th king) is not yet come; and when he cometh (i.e., to full power Mid-Trib), he must continue a SHORT SPACE" (i.e., the Great Tribulation) (Rev. 17:10)
The 7 kings:
1. Babel - Nimrod - the first Pontifex Maximus of the Mystery Religion
2. Babylon - Nebuchadnezzar - Pontifex Maximus
3. Media-Persia - Cyrus II - Pontifex Maximus
4. Greece - Alexander the Great - Pontifex Maximus
5. Rome - the Caesars - Pontifex Maximus
6. Ecclesiastic Rome - the Popes - Pontifex Maximus
The 1st Tribulation Pope, the 6th head of the great red dragon,
The BEAST of Rev. 13:4-10, rules the first half of the Tribulation.
7. Ecclesiastic Rome - Pontifex Maximus
The acting Great Tribulation Pope, the 7th head of the great red dragon,
The FALSE PROPHET of Rev. 13:11-18, rules during the Great Tribulation.
Rev. 13:12 says of the 2nd beast, "he exerciseth all the power of the first beast". We know that the 2nd beast is the False Prophet from Rev. 19:20, where he is said to be the "false prophet that wrought MIRACLES before him" (the Beast). Rev. 13:14 tells us about these "MIRACLES."
Rev. 20:10 calls the two beasts of Rev. 13 the beast and the false prophet. It says, "the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where THE BEAST and THE FALSE PROPHET are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
The Tribulation kingdom has 10 subordinate kings, probably over the 10 regions this world has been divided into. At the time of the Rapture, these "ten kings...have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast" (Rev. 17:12). "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed" (Dan. 2:44).
I John 2:22 says, "Who is a LIAR (the False Prophet) but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? HE IS ANTICHRIST, THAT DENIETH THE FATHER AND THE SON." The Tribulation Pope won't deny the Father and the Son, the False Prophet will deny them.
II John 7 says, "ONE WHO DENIES THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH IS A DECEIVER AND THE ANTICHRIST." "The" is there in the Greek. Then the lying False Prophet is THE ANTICHRIST.
Zech. 5:4 says, "I will bring it ('the curse,' the binary asteroid) forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief (like Judas Iscariot, the son of perdition, the Satan-possessed False Prophet, is a thief), and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name (that's the Tribulation Pope, who falsely claims infallibility): and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof."
In II Thess. 2:1-15 (World English Bible), Paul said, "Now, brothers (believers), concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him (i.e., at the Pre-Trib Rapture), we ask you not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ (major MSS have 'day of the Lord') had come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For it (the Day of the Lord) will not be, unless THE DEPARTURE (i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture) COMES FIRST, and the man of sin is revealed (SECOND, i.e., after the Rapture), the son of destruction (the son of perdition, the False Prophet, who like Judas Iscariot will be Satan-possessed), he who opposes and EXALTS HIMSELF AGAINST ALL THAT IS CALLED GOD (Antichrist denies the Father and Son, I John 2:22) or that is worshiped; so that he (the False Prophet) SITS AS GOD IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SETTING HIMSELF UP AS GOD. Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things? Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may BE REVEALED IN HIS OWN SEASON (i.e., in the Tribulation). For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only THERE IS ONE (i.e., the Holy Spirit) WHO RESTRAINS NOW, UNTIL HE IS TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY (i.e., the Holy Spirit will cease restraining the appearance of the False Prophet at the Pre-Trib Rapture). Then (i.e., in the Tribulation, following the Rapture) THE LAWLESS ONE WILL BE REVEALED, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nothing by the brightness of his coming; even he (the Satan-possessed False Prophet who speaks 'as a dragon,' Rev. 13:11) WHOSE COMING IS ACCORDING TO THE WORKING OF SATAN WITH ALL POWER AND SIGNS AND LYING WONDERS (Rev. 13:13-15), and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie (i.e., that the False Prophet is God); that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth (i.e., that Jesus is God), but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
Rev. 13:11 (KJV) says, “I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth (i.e., erets Israel); and he had two horns (two comings to power, in Judas Iscariot and the False Prophet) like a lamb (Christ), and he spake as a dragon” (i.e., he is Satan-possessed). This False Prophet is the one that has the image set up Mid-Trib.
Rev. 13:14 says that the false prophet "deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those MIRACLES which he had power to do (because he is Satan-possessed) in the sight of the beast (the Tribulation Pope); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should MAKE AN IMAGE TO THE BEAST, which had the wound by a sword (the Tribulation Pope), and did live" (probably survived an assassination attempt).
It is the False Prophet that sits in the Temple "shewing himself that he is God" in II Thess. 2:4. "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women (i.e., Jesus), nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all" (Dan. 11:37).
I John 2:22 says, "Who is a liar (the False Prophet, Isa. 9:15) but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? HE IS ANTICHRIST, THAT DENIETH THE FATHER AND THE SON." I John 4:23 says, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of ANTICHRIST, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
The False Prophet is the one that has the idol, "the abomination of desolation" put in the "holy place" in the Temple (Mt. 24:15). He magnifies himself over all that is called God. He is the one that "shall confirm the covenant with many (probably the Palestinians, the US and the UN) for one week (7 years). He is the one that "in the midst of the week...shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (Dan. 9:27), because he will desecrate the Temple, not only by putting an idol in the holy place, but by sitting there pretending that he himself is God, thus denying "the Father and the Son."HE IS ANTICHRIST, that denieth the Father and the Son" (I John 2:22).
I think II Thessalonians 2:9 is talking about the Satan-possessed False Prophet, "even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders...." This is the same as the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18. Verses 11-14 say, "I beheld ANOTHER BEAST coming up out of the earth (i.e., erets Israel); and he had two horns (two comings to power, in Judas Iscariot and the False Prophet) like a lamb (Jesus), and he spake as a dragon (because he is Satan-possessed). And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast (the Tribulation Pope), whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those MIRACLES which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should MAKE AN IMAGE to the beast (the first one), which had the wound by a sword, and did live."
This is how we can recognize the Spirit of God. I John 4:2,3 says, "Little children (i.e., the last generation), it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time".
II John 1:7 says, "many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
Dan. 8:23-26 says, "when the transgressors are come to the full, a king (the 7th head, Rev. 17:9,10) of fierce countenance (the final Antichrist, the False Prophet), and understanding dark sentences (because he is Satan- possessed), shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (by Satan's): and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and HE SHALL MAGNIFY HIMSELF in his heart, AND BY PEACE SHALL DESTROY MANY: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (Christ); but he shall be broken without hand. And the vision of the evening and the morning (i.e., the 2300-day Tribulation, Dan. 8:13,14) which was told is true."
Dan. 11:36,37 says, "the king (the last one, the False Prophet) shall do according to his will; and HE SHALL EXALT HIMSELF, AND MAGNIFY HIMSELF ABOVE EVERY GOD, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished (on the Day of the Lord); for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God (YHWH) of his fathers (the Hebrews), nor the desire of women (to bear the Messiah), NOR REGARD ANY GOD: FOR HE SHALL MAGNIFY HIMSELF ABOVE ALL."
During the Tribulation, we see three and a half years repeating. The 7 years are divided into the first 3.5 and the last 3.5 years. Also, as the ministry of Jesus lasted for 3.5 years, the ministry of God's two witnesses will last 3.5 years, the first half of the Tribulation.
In the last half, called the Great Tribulation, Satan's ministry in the False Prophet will be for about 3.5 years. This final 3.5 years will be shortened or no flesh would be saved. In Mt. 24:21,22, Jesus said, "For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's (i.e., the Tribulation saint's) sake those days shall be shortened."
Each witness, two of God's and two of Satan's will each be allotted 3.5 years of the Tribulation for their special ministry.
Both of God's two witnesses prophesy during the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation (Rev. 11:3-12).
1. Moses, who still has the power to smite the earth with plagues
2. Elijah, who still has the power to shut heaven so that no rain falls
Referring to Zech. 4:2-14, we read in Rev. 11:4, "These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth."
Zech 4:11-14 says, "What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil (i.e., oil of the Holy Spirit) out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, THESE ARE THE TWO ANOINTED ONES, THAT STAND BY THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH."
"Those standing by Jesus, "the God of the earth" and "the LORD of the whole earth," at His Transfiguration were Moses and Elijah. Mt. 17:3 says, "behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias (Elijah) talking with him."
Satan's two witnesses each rule 3.5 years.
1. The Beast of Rev. 13:4-10 rules during the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation, the same time that Elijah and Moses prophesy.
2. The False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18 rules during the last 3.5 years, called the Great Tribulation, after killing Moses and Elijah Mid-Trib. This way, they can't tell people who he really is any more, the Satan-possessed 2nd "son of perdition."
Both of God's witnesses are saved. They are resurrected and caught up to God 3.5 days after the False Prophet kills them. Rev. 11:12 says, "they ascended up to heaven." The 3.5 days seem to echo the 3.5 days between the Crucifixion and Jesus' ascension to the Father to take those saints in "Abraham's bosom" to Heaven on Resurrection Day. John 20:17 says, "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God." The trip didn't seem to take long. Later, he could be touched.
Neither of Satan's witnesses are saved. Rev. 16:13 says, "I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet." Rev. 19:20 says of the "beast" and "false prophet", "These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Rev. 20:10 says, "the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the BEAST and the FALSE PROPHET are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
At the end of this age, the conflict will be between Satan's seed (the False Prophet) and the seed of the woman (Jesus Christ). In Gen. 3:15, the Lord told Satan, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between THY SEED (the Satan-possessed False Prophet, the final Antichrist) and HER SEED (Jesus Christ); it shall bruise thy head, and thou (i.e., the Satan-possessed Judas Iscariot) shalt bruise his heel" (accomplished at the Crucifixion).
It looks like "it shall bruise thy head" will be accomplished on the Day of the Lord, which is also the Day of God's Wrath. Zech. 11:17 says, "Woe to the IDOL SHEPHERD (the False Prophet, Rev. 13:14,15) that leaveth the flock (he moves his headquarters to Babylon)! the sword ("sword of the LORD," shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened."
Dan.7:25 says, "he shall speak great words against the MOST HIGH (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, i.e., Jesus Christ, Isa. 44:6), and shall wear out the saints of the MOST HIGH, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time" (3.5 years).
"ANOTHER" IS THE FALSE PROPHET
In John 5:43, Jesus says, "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if ANOTHER shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."
Rev. 13:11 says, "I beheld ANOTHER beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns (two comings to power) like a lamb (as Jesus has two comings), and he spake as a dragon" (because he is indwelt by Satan).
Dan. 7:8 says, "I considered the horns (10 horns), and, behold, there came up among them ANOTHER LITTLE HORN (the 2nd horn of Rev. 13:11, the False Prophet), before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and A MOUTH SPEAKING GREAT THINGS." Since the False Prophet will be Satan- possessed, he will have "a mouth speaking great things."
Dan. 7:20 says, "of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the OTHER which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn (2nd horn of Rev. 13:11) that had eyes, and A MOUTH THAT SPAKE VERY GREAT THINGS, whose look was more stout than his fellows."
Dan. 7:24 says, "the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise (at the beginning of the Tribulation): and ANOTHER shall rise after them (Mid-Trib); and he (the False Prophet) shall be diverse (different) from the first (Beast, Rev. 13:4-10), and he (the False Prophet, the deceiver and Antichrist) shall subdue three kings."
GO INTO PERDITION
Satan will enter into the son of perdition. Rev. 17:8-11 says, "The beast (the great red dragon, Satan) that thou sawest was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man now); and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and GO INTO PERDITION (the False Prophet): and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man now), and yet is (exists). And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman (harlot church) sitteth. And (at the time of the Rapture) there are seven kings: five are fallen, and ONE IS (the Tribulation Pope, the Beast of Rev. 13:4-10), and the OTHER (the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18) is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space (the shortened Great Tribulation). And the beast that was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man now), even he (Satan) is the eighth (i.e., the tail of the great red dragon), and is of the seven, and GOETH INTO PERDITION" (i.e., Satan enters into the False Prophet, the son of perdition, as he did Judas Iscariot).
Satan will "ascend out of the bottomless pit, and GO INTO PERDITION" (the False Prophet) Mid-Trib. Rev. 12:7-9 says, "there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: HE WAS CAST OUT INTO THE EARTH, and his angels were cast out with him."
