Incoming email, Re: Low resources vs low Ram--PS

My gut feeling is that you are about to lose your video card. My experinece with pc's over the last 20 years has been that they usually last about 4 years trouble free, and then they start deterioating slowly. My last system I nursed for about 6 years before it finally gave up on me entirely. I started out with Windows 95, upgraded to 98, then to 2000, and finally went back to 98. The mother board finally died on it and I was force to buy a new one. Fortunately, prices on new systems are at an all time low. Just 2 years ago I bought the system I am now using at home, and paid about $500, but you can probably find a similar system today for under $400. I bought this one at Sam's (its a Compaq/HP - the 2 companies merged right after I bought this). Until He returns ..

My reply

Thanks...In System Information, I clicked on Tools and Dr. Watson. The diagnosis is "ATMSYS.DRV has altered Windows system files.

I clicked on IE Repair Tool. I can roll back to previous configuration. I'm using IE 6, and think I started with 5.0. That seems to be what I'm going to have to do. I backed up my web site and necessary programs in preparation, but will wait until I hear from you.

I'm not the only one that has this problem. At microsoft.com, I read that when a man updated, he lost access to 3 user/password places and that access to another one that did not require a password before now asks for one. He said that he was able to get back in by booting in Safe Mode and selecting last known good configuration. He tried to update again, but the same thing happened, and he had to remove the update.

I have trouble getting it in Safe Mode, both with the F8 key and with System Configuration. The Startup Menu never displayed after restart, so I couldn't select Safe Mode.

It looks like either the MS XHTML 4.0 parser update, or another MS update that did not install successfully, caused me problems too, even though I uninstalled and trashed the parser afterward, because I had 0% System Resources.. Not only am I having a password problem and can't UL to my main web site, David can't get on e-bay with his password.

I guess my 5-year-old computer isn't worth putting a lot of money into to fix, but I'm hoping the video card doesn't fail completely between now and Pentecost. Agape

Vatican to announce St. Paul's tomb found
Sarcophagus could contain remains of apostle, 2-18-05
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=42907

Vatican archeologists are preparing to announced they have positively identified the tomb of St. Paul the apostle....

The independent Catholic news service said the sarcophagus was discovered during excavations in 2002 and 2003 around the basilica in south Rome....

"The tomb that we discovered is the one that the popes and the Emperor Theodosius [A.D. 379- 395] saved and presented to the whole world as being the tomb of the apostle," Filippi said....

Under the altar, a marble plaque is visible, dating to the 4th century, bearing the inscription "Apostle Paul, martyr."

Surprisingly, said Filippi, "nobody ever thought to look behind that plaque," where the Vatican team found the sarcophagus.

On Five Doves site: "Hebrews possibly points to Pentecost as the rapture timing"

By Doug Henney (11 Feb 2005)
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/feb2005/dough211.htm

...I was reading in Hebrews 12 and began to observe, what I thought to be, a reference to the rapture of the believers with the feast of Pentecost interwoven into the verses.

Verses 18 through 21 point to Pentecost.

"You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai when God gave them his laws. For they heard an awesome trumpet blast and a voice with a message so terrible that they begged God to stop speaking. They staggered back under God's command; 'If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.' Moses himself was so frightened at the sight that he said, 'I am terrified and trembling.' NLT

The next verses then struck me as though the author is painting a picture of what it will be like for those who are raptured.

"No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to thousands of angels in joyful assembly. You have come to the assembly of God's firstborn children (as in firstfruits?), whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge of all people. And you have come to the spirits of the redeemed in heaven who have now been made perfect (see 11:39 and 40). You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenent between God and people..." NLT...

NLT...

The "firstborn children" does connect with Pentecost, which is the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Harvest. However, let's examine some other scriptures that could have a bearing on this, and see whether or not Pentecost is meant in Heb. 12:23.

Ex. 23:14-16,20 says, "Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And THE FEAST OF HARVEST, THE FIRSTFRUITS of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field (the field is the world, Mt. 13:38): and the feast of ingathering (Tabernacles), which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three items in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God....Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into THE PLACE WHICH I HAVE PREPARED" (Heaven, John 14:2).

Moses played it out for us on Pentecost. Ex. 24:16,18 says, "the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai (probably from the Sanskrit Sani, Saturn), and the cloud covered it six days (Sivan 1-6); and the SEVENTH DAY (Sivan 7, when Pentecost was fully come, Acts 2:1) HE CALLED UNTO MOSES out of the midst of the cloud....And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights" (reminding us of the 40 days and 40 nights it rained in Noah's day, and the Pre-Trib Rapture is as the days of Noah, Mt. 24:37).

Even the foolish virgins are represented at Pentecost. Lev. 23:17,22 says, "Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves (i.e., both Jews and Gentiles) of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven (baking kills leaven, a symbol of sin); they are THE FIRSTFRUITS UNTO THE LORD....And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt NOT MAKE CLEAN RIDDANCE of the corners of thy field".

"Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the FIRSTFRUITS of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD" (Jer. 2:3).

We are a kind of firstfruits. James 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be A KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS of his creatures." I figure we will probably be in the group called the FIRST of the firstfruits. Ex. 23:19 says, "The FIRST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God." To me, that sounds like the FIRST TRUMP, the Pre-Trib Rapture (I Thess. 4:13-18).

At the "last trump" (I Cor. 15:51-53), the Tribulation saints are caught up on the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of God's Wrath, but before the asteroids of Rev. 8:8 and 10 impact Earth at noon. Zeph 2:3-5 says, "Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be HID in the day of the LORD'S anger. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast". The asteroid of Rev. 8:8 will impact the Mediterranean Sea.

Rev. 6:17 says, "the great day of his wrath (the Feast of Trumpets, Joel 2:1-3) is come, and who shall be able to stand? In Rev. 7:1-14, we see that the 144,000 Israelites, plus a great multitude that no man can number are in Heaven. Why are the 144,000 numbered, and the great multitude are not? We find out in Rev. 14:2-5. The 144,000 are wise virgins. They "are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are WITHOUT FAULT BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD."

As I understand it, there are wise and foolish virgins on Earth at the time of both Raptures, the Pre-Trib and the Pre-Wrath. At the first Rapture, only the wise virgins are caught up. At the Pre-Wrath Rapture, even the foolish virgins are caught up. All the children are caught up too. Only unbelievers will be left on Earth to have the Wrath of God cast on them.

The wise virgins are part of the Bride of Christ group. On the Feast of Trumpets, the call goes out to gather those that were called up to Heaven at the first Rapture. Mt. 24:30 says, "he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other." These that are already in Heaven are called to "THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN, WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN, AND TO GOD THE JUDGE OF ALL, AND TO THE SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT" (Heb. 12.23).

At the same time, the Tribulation saints are called up from the Earth to the GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN. This is the Pre-Wrath Rapture. Mark 13:27 says, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."

Therefore, I think the GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN (Heb. 12:23) is on the Feast of Trumpets. It ties in with the FIRST OF THE FIRSTBORN (those wise virgins caught up to Heaven at the first trump, before the Tribulation), because the 144,000 are the last rank of the FIRSTFRUITS (I Cor. 15:23). They are called up to Heaven at the "last trump" (I Cor. 15:51-53).

Rev. 14:4 says of the 144,000, "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being THE FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb."

It looks like none but the 144,000 are THE FIRSTFRUITS at the 2nd Rapture. The firstfruits sing the new song. Rev. 14:3 says of the 144,000, "And they sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne (the NEW SONG is sung at the 1st Rapture, Rev. 5:9), and before the four beasts, and the elders (caught up in the 1st Rapture, Rev. 4:4): and NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, which were redeemed from the earth."

Ex. 34:22 says, "And thou shalt observe the FEAST OF WEEKS (PENTECOST), of the FIRSTFRUITS OF WHEAT HARVEST (in the spring), and the feast of ingathering at the year's end." The rest of the wheat is harvested in the summer, before Tabernacles on Tishri 15.

Tishri 1, 5771, the Feast of Trumpets, is Sept. 9, 2010. It is still summer until Sept. 21. I think that will be the day of the Pre-Wrath Rapture and the day of the GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN. All the firstfruits will be there, both the FIRST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS (caught up on Pentecost) AND THE LAST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS (caught up on the Feast of Trumpets). The "last trump" calls up the last rank in the First Resurrection.

Thanks. Even my computer can see this view, and I found another woman's face, not as big.... It is to the right of where we saw the other woman. I can't see that one in this view. Bushes are at this woman's chin. She has a thin face and seems to have on glasses. Her hair is brown, parted in the middle, and piled high on top. Agape

Marilyn, I can see what you are saying. It seems to be a smaller face of another woman. I was looking at it a few days ago and wrote you at the time. I thought it was 2 small children sitting side by side.,,,probably no more than 4 or years old. .Guess everyone sees something different in their mind's eye . Your lady is a lot clearer than what I am seeing. lol! Blessings....In His Love

Jewish Calendar

http://www.abdicate.net/cal.aspx

...Jewish Calendar Stats:
The accuracy of the Hebrew calendar is fixed by the value of the mean lunation period coupled to the 19 year cycle of 235 lunar months. This is called a molad (new moon), which is exactly 29 days, 12 hours and 793 halakim (parts), or 3 1\3 seconds. One hour is broken into 1080 halakim. This means that the computations for a date are so accurate that any mean lunar conjunction can be found within 1 day in 14,000 years. That leads to an average Hebrew year length of 365.2468 days. The mean tropical solar year is about 365.2422 days. Hence, the average Hebrew year is slower than the average solar year by about one day in every 216 years. That means that today, we celebrate the holidays, on average about 8 days later than did our ancestors in 359 AD at the time that the fixed calendar rules were published. This makes the Hebrew calendar the most accurate in the world because it takes into account the lunar and solar cycles. Even NASA and the U.S. Naval Observatory has to throw in a leap second now and again to "fix" the solar calendar.

According to Jewish tradition, the year 1 of the Jewish calendar was the time of "waste and void" referred to in Genesis 1:1. Nothing was yet created, and only a virtual clock started to tick on the first day of that year, heard, as it were, only by the Creator, on the first day of the week (Sunday) the 24th of Elul, (22 August 3760 B.C. in the Gregorian calendar). He said "Let there be light", and He finished the following Sabbath (Saturday) which is the first day of Tishri, year 2. All Hebrew days begin at 18:00 hours which corresponds to hour zero of the Hebrew calendar's day. The first day of the Hebrew calendar is Sunday at 11:20:11 P.M. This would actually be Monday, because the Jewish day is considered to begin at sunset. Since sunset varies, the day is assumed to begin at 6:00 P.M. for calendar calculation purposes. So, the first molad was 5 hours 793 halakim after the start of Tishri 1, 0001 (which was Monday September 7, 3761 B.C. by the Gregorian calendar)....

Nisan 16 (Feast of Firstfruits, Jesus' resurrection day) should be on the first day of the week, Sunday, not Friday. Therefore, I think his days of the week for 30 AD are off by two days. From what I have found previously, I think Nisan 16, 3790 was April 9, Julian. If that is so, his Julian date is also off by two days.

"Re: Clarification: The Warnings In The Days Of Noah", from Five Doves site

F.M. Riley (12 Feb 2005)
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/feb2005/fmriley212-2.htm

Dear Mark and Doves,
Well I am as sure the Lord is coming this year as I think any child of God could be, in view of the fact that all of the time periods given in the Scriptures that even seem to be prophetic now appear to be in perfect harmony with the revealed prophetic Word. In the many years that I have been studying prophecy, such has never happened before. There have been times in the past that "such and such" seemed to harmonize with some other "such and such," making it appear that the Lord's coming might be "at hand." But in the past there has never been perfect harmony between the various time periods set forth and the actual revealed Word. But there is this year!

The resurrecting of Jairus daughter from the dead and the healing of the "menstrous woman," a twelve year period. 1993 to 2005 = 12 years.

The healing of the man who had laid by the pool totally helpless for 38 years. 1967 to 2005 = 38 years.

The 120 year warning plus the 7 day warning given in the days of Noah. 1878 thru 1997 = 120 years. 1998 thru 2004 = 7 years. We are now living in the year [day] after the 7 day [year] warning, the very time when Noah entered the Ark and the flood began; 2005.

The 70 + 10 years in Psalm 90:10. Beginning with 1918 [the first year after Jerusalem was freed from the Turks on December 9, 1917] + 70 + 10 = 1998. That then leaves the 7 "good years" mentioned in Genesis 41, or the 7 years of warning given in the days of Noah, both of which are followed by terrible judgment. 1998 + 7 = 2004. 2005 is then the time for the "evil years" to start, and the "flood" of God's judgment to begin. It is also the time for the rapture of God's people to occur, lifting them above the "flood" of God's judgment poured out during the Tribulation just as God lifted Noah and his family above the flood judgment long ago.

Brother, there are a whole lot more of these time periods set forth in the Scriptures, and every one of them is now indicating that this year, 2005, is the end of the dispensation of grace and the beginning of the Tribulation. But the ones mentioned are sufficient to make the point.

Thank you for writing. Keep looking up and listening for the shout! Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon!

Incoming email, Re: We're at 120 days

Thank you so much for your dedication over these years. It has been a long, long wait - but the anticipation of our Lord's calling has always kept me ready and watching. Hard to believe I have been watching and waiting for over 30 years, and I was really intrigued to find your P & C's on the internet - sometime shortly after they started in August of 1997! If we ever knew then we would have had to wait this long, how disappointed we would have been. But we keep our wicks trimmed and remain ever watchful in His service. The pieces to the puzzle appear to be coming more and more together - pointing to a 2005 Pentecost rapture. And here we are now at the "countdown": 120 days to Shavout. Just wondering if we'll have a 120-day warning as Noah got a 120-year warning? Anyway, just want to thank you again and again. May the Lord keep watch over you, Ed, and your family until that glorious day of His appearing. Maranatha. Deborah

My reply

> > we are now at the "countdown": 120 days to Shavout

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't figured it. Thanks too for all your kind words.

My accepting 40 years for one generation kept me from seeing, for a long time, that the end-time parallel to the 7 good and 7 bad years when Joseph was in Egypt started in 1998 (1998 + 7 = 2005) (2005 + 7 = 2012).

For many years, I figured that the year starting with God's Wrath on the Feast of Trumpets had to be a Hebrew Leap Year, because there were 7 months instead of the usual 6 between Tishri 1 and the following Nisan 1, date of the Second Advent.

After the Day of God's Wrath described in Eze. 38, Eze. 39:11-13 says, "it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. And SEVEN MONTHS shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown THE DAY THAT I SHALL BE GLORIFIED (the Second Advent), saith the Lord GOD" (Christ, Isa. 40:10; 44:6).

Therefore, it wasn't hard to skip from 5768 (2007/2008) to the next Leap Year, 5771 (2010-2011). Then the 7 good and 7 bad years dropped into place.

Of course, the 7 bad years will be shortened, but it is strange that the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012. It now seems likely that Satan knew from the beginning how long he had to try his best to win what Bob Thieme calls the Angelic Conflict. What other reason could there be for the Mayan Calendar ending in 2012? Satan may have used that calendar to plot his course during those years. Agape

Carbon dating backs Bible on Edom

FAITH
By RICHARD N. OSTLING, 2-17-05

The Mideast's latest archaeological sensation is all about Edom.

The Bible says Edom's kings interacted with ancient Israel, but some scholars have confidently declared that no Edomite state could have existed that early.

The latest archaeological work indicates the Bible got it right, those experts got it wrong and some write-ups need rewriting. The findings also could buttress disputed biblical reports about kings David and Solomon....

The 'Great Escape' Misunderstanding

In Defense of the Faith, 2-15-05
Jack Kinsella
http://www.omegaletter.com/articles.asp?ArticleID=4722

One of the principle misunderstandings concerning the Rapture revolves around its purpose. Critics of a pre-Tribulation Rapture deride it as some pie-in-the-sky 'Great Escape' for Christians living in the last days.

There is no such promise of 'escape' from tribulation, they argue, and (correctly) point out the Bible's promise that 'in this world ye shall have tribulation' so the pretribulational hope of a 'Great Escape' is not only delusional, it is unscriptural.

The fact is, if the pretribulational hope WAS for a 'Great Escape' from tribulation, they would be correct. There is NO promise that the Church will escape tribulation, but there is an iron-clad promise that the Church will not go through the seven years of tribulation described by Jeremiah as the 'Time of Jacob's Trouble' or outlined by Daniel as Israel's '70th Week.'
