Pro and Con 1205

(April 6, 30 AD)

1Cor 5:7 says, "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ OUR PASSOVER is sacrificed for us".

The Thursday Crucifixion is locked in place from both sides. Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany. Three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth (Mt. 12:40). Rise again the third day (Luke 24:7), "when the sabbath was past" (Mk. 16:1) etc.

"Jesus six days (Sat., Sun., Mon., Tue., Wed., Thur.) BEFORE the passover (Friday), came to Bethany...On the next day (Palm Sunday) much people that were come to the feast...Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him" (John 12:1,12,13).

Saturday is a solid anchor. Mark 16:1 says, "when the sabbath (Saturday) was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him" (on Sunday).

Mt. 28:1 says, "In the end of the sabbath (Saturday), as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week (Sunday), came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre."

Luke 23:56 says, "they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day (Saturday) according to the commandment."

The chart is from my first book. I now know that Jesus was buried before 6 PM on Nisan 13. Luke 23:52-54 says, "This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and LAID IT IN A SEPULCHRE that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And THAT DAY WAS THE PREPARATION, and the sabbath drew on."

John 19:31 says, "The Jews therefore, because IT WAS THE PREPARATION, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (FOR THAT SABBATH DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY [PASSOVER],) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away."

Mt. 27:59-62 says, "when Joseph had taken the body, HE WRAPPED IT IN A CLEAN LINEN CLOTH, AND LAID IT IN HIS OWN NEW TOMB...Now the NEXT DAY, THAT FOLLOWED THE DAY OF THE PREPARATION, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate..."

Incoming e-mail, Re: The Law and the Commandments

Taking a fresh look at what did Jesus really mean when He said the following and how it corresponds with Psalm 119

[Matthew 5:17-19]
the Law. 17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law. or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law. till all is fulfilled.
19 "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments., and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

This scriptures is backed up by (Luke 16:16-17)

Now what I have done is rearranged the verses of Psalm 119 to make greater impact, so that it becomes easier to understand what Jesus really said.

So what about "The Sabbath" day which is the fourth commandment?
Makes one think does it not?

My reply

Yes. The first thought that hits me is, "I'm curious." Are you a Nazarene? Do you keep all the Law and accept Yahshua as your haMachiach too? Are you rolling the Tanach and B'rit Hadashah together and trying your best to keep it all?

That's commendable, the Law was to show us what sin is--unless you expect obeying the Law to help save you. Only Yahshua can do that.

> > [Matthew 5:17-19] 17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.19 "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

The Law shows us what sin is, and at the same time condemns us, for we all are guilty of breaking the Law. Because of the Law's condemnation, we need a Saviour. Gal 3:24-26 (KJV) tells us the main purpose of the Law. It says, "Wherefore THE LAW WAS OUR SCHOOLMASTER TO BRING US UNTO CHRIST, THAT WE MIGHT BE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH. But after that faith is come, WE ARE NO LONGER UNDER A SCHOOLMASTER. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" (Yahshua, Y'shua).

Acts 4:12 says,"Neither is there salvation in any other: for THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED."

Since he is the only Saviour, we should understand who Jesus (Yahshua, meaning Yah saves) really is. Isa. 44:6 (Stone edition Tanach) explains, "Thus said HASHEM (YHWH, Yahweh), king of Israel AND its Redeemer, HASHEM (YHWH), master of Legions (Lord of hosts): I AM THE FIRST (YHWH king of Israel) AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH its Redeemer, its Saviour, the Lord of hosts), and aside from Me (ONE PERSON THAT IS BOTH THE FIRST AND THE LAST) there is no God."

Isa. 41:4 says, "Who brought about and accomplished [this]? He Who proclaimed the generations from the beginning: I, HASHEM (YHWH), AM THE FIRST (YHWH the king of Israel), and I AM HE (YHWH) WHO WILL BE WITH THE LAST (YHWH THE REDEEMER)."

Isa. 48:12,13,16,17 says, "Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, as he was called by Me: I AM HE (YHWH of hosts); I am the first (YHWH king of Israel), ALSO I am the last (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, YAHSHUA). Also, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth (Yahshua, 'All things were made by him,' John 1:3, Heb. 1:2), and My right hand has measured out the heaven; I call to them and they stand together....Approach me, hear this: I did not speak in secrecy at first; from the time [the decree] was issued I was there. And now, My Lord, HASHEM/ELOHIM (#1, Yahweh, God), has sent ME (#2, Yahshua) with HIS SPIRIT" (#3, the Spirit of God ). Thus said HASHEM (YHWH), YOUR REDEEMER (YHWH of hosts, Yahshua), the Holy One of Israel: I am HASHEM (YHWH), your God, Who instructs you for [your] benefit, Who guides you in the way you should follow. If you had hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS (YHWH your Redeemer's, Yahshua's), your peace would [flow] like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea."

The "Spirit of God" is the "Spirit of Christ." Rom 8:9 (KJV) says, "ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

In Rev 1:11, Yahshua said, I am Alpha AND Omega, the FIRST (YHWH king of Israel) AND the LAST (YHWH the Redeemer)".
In Rev. 1:17, Yahshua said, "Fear not; I am the FIRST (YHWH king of Israel) AND the LAST(YHWH the Redeemer)".
Rev 2:8 says, "unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the FIRST AND the LAST, WHICH WAS DEAD (Crucified), AND IS ALIVE" (Resurrected).
Rev 22:13-16 says, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the end, the first AND the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus (Yahshua) have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the ROOT (YHWH) AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID" (YAHSHUA).

Prov. 30:4 (Stone) says, "Who established all the ends of the earth? WHAT IS HIS NAME (YHWH king of Israel), and WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME (YHWH the Redeemer, the Lord of hosts, Yahshua), if you know?"

2Co 5:19 is plain. It says, "GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

> > This scriptures is backed up by (Luke 16:16-17)

Luke 16:14-17 says, "the PHARISEES, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. And he (Yahshua/Y'shua/Jesus) said unto them (THE PHARISEES), YE ARE THEY WHICH JUSTIFY YOURSELVES BEFORE MEN; BUT GOD KNOWETH YOUR HEARTS : for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS WERE UNTIL JOHN (John the Baptist): since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." By the Law we are condemned. Both testaments agree.

Psa 53:3 (Stone): "Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no not one."
Rom 3:10 (KJV): "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one."

I thank the Lord that he is our Saviour. Without him, we would be lost. The just shall live by faith in Yahshua, Jesus, our Saviour.

Rom 1:17 says, "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."
