A friend went to Israel and asked when the wheat was harvested. The answer was "in the summer." Just as Israel harvests wheat in the summer, it was harvested in summer in the fields near my house in Riverside, CA, in 1998.

In Mt. 13:27-30, speaking of the kingdom of heaven, Jesus said, "the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the WHEAT with them. LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, GATHER YE TOGETHER FIRST THE TARES, AND BIND THEM IN BUNDLES TO BURN THEM: BUT GATHER THE WHEAT INTO MY BARN" (Heaven).

It suggests the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Day of God's Wrath (the Feast of Trumpets), before the asteroids of Rev. 8:8 and 10 impact Earth at noon (Zeph. 2:3-5).

In Mt. 13:18-43, Jesus explained the parable of the kingdom of heaven. "The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; THE HARVEST IS THE END OF THE WORLD (AGE, i.e., the Feast of Trumpets); and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (age). The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

Mark 13:27 says of that day, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth (at the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of heaven" (to call those caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture to the general assembly in Heaven (Heb. 12:23).

There are two Raptures, Pre-Trib and Pre-Wrath, and two main grain harvests, BARLEY AND WHEAT. Barley was winnowed, thrown up in the air, where the chaff blew away. WHEAT WAS THRESHED WITH A TRIBULUM (i.e., THE TRIBULATION), therefore, I think the end of barley harvest (Ascension Day) is the Rapture of the Pre-Trib saints, and the end of the summer wheat harvest (the Feast of Trumpets) is the Rapture of the Tribulation saints.

Tribulation is from the Latin tribulum, a threshing instrument that separates the chaff from the wheat. The Tribulation will also perform this separation. In Luke 22:31, "the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you AS WHEAT."

Wheat harvest and threshing can go on all summer. De. 16:13 (LITV) shows how late they were still threshing. It says, "You shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles seven days after you have gathered in from your THRESHINGFLOOR, and from your winepress."
At:, we read, "Now, when we see the full barley crop ready to be harvested, we can better appreciate what Torah was pointing at. Yahushua is the first harvest, and we His qodeshim (saints) are part of a group of the first fruits; THE LARGER WHEAT HARVEST IN THE FALL are those who respond to our planting and watering work."
"What is Shavuot?"
"...the beginning of THE SUMMER WHEAT HARVEST".

After Pentecost, there is the long growing and maturing season of the SUMMERTIME. During this period, the bulk of Israelís widely diversified harvest, grows as it approaches the end of the season.

Along with the harvest, of course, grow the tares, which are weeds that look like wheat, but have no fruit. Ultimately the growing season comes to an end. This end of the season is pictured for us in the fall feasts of Israel with the sounding of the shofar blast on Rosh Ha-Shana.... (i.e., Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets).
Joel 2:15-16 says, "Blow the trumpet in Zion (on the Feast of Trumpets), declare a holy fast (the days of awe end with the Day of Atonement, a fast day), call a sacred assembly. GATHER THE PEOPLE, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, GATHER THE CHILDREN, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber." It's Coronation Day, the day of the Pre-Wrath Rapture, the day of the Marriage of the Lamb, and the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Jer. 8:20 says, "The harvest is past, the SUMMER IS ENDED, and we are not saved." We don't want to be in that spot.
What is Shavuot?

Shavuot, like so many other Jewish holidays, began as an ancient agricultural festival. In biblical times, it marked the end of the spring barley harvest and THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER WHEAT HARVEST.

Ex. 34:22 says, "thou shalt observe the feast of weeks (Pentecost), of the FIRSTFRUITS OF WHEAT HARVEST, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

Incoming e-mail, Re: Acension Day

Yes! I have always thought that "as the days of Noah" has a much stronger emphasis than just that people will be living like they were in his time. The emphasis may be on the days, because they are listed so specifically, like a road map or a time line. My daughter-in-law pointed that out to me, in 1997, about the same time that I started watching your website. And, even though God changed the calendar at the Exodus from Egypt, in commeration of the Passover and release from bondage, The Bible does say, specifically,"AS the DAYS of Noah", not as the way they lived. Although, I believe that this applies, too, but is less the issue, because the way they lived has been the case in every generation (eating, drinking, marrying).

As the days of Noah was then the 2nd month, 17th day, when Noah went into the ark, and God shut the door. Then, the 2nd month, 27th day of the following year (1 year, 10 days later), the earth was dry, and Noah came out of the protection of the ark, into a refreshed life. That is fitting that Noah and all the animals came out of the ark in the fall, at harvest, when food was plenty, as it had grown while the earth dried from the flood. Jesus is our ark of salvation, in a troubled, sinful world(abide in Me, and I will abide in you). We will "come out of the ark" on the day of the rapture, if we are "counted worthy to escape", like Noah was. Praise God! He wants to save us from the "hour of tribulation."

The "return of the son of man shall be as the days of Noah." And "we do not as yet, know what we shall be, but we know that we shall be like Him." He ascended to the Father on Ascension Day, which I also think was midnight. This Ascension Day, Midnight, Jerusalem time, about 3:41 p.m EST,(the day changes at 6:PM or around sunset in Israel), would be the anniversary of the day Noah came out of the ark, and a Sabbath day, until sunset. Then, at or after midnight is "early in the morning, toward the first day of the week," which is Sunday(like the morning Mary went to the tomb before daylight, and Jesus was already out of the tomb!). She was watching!

Reckoned inclusively, the 2nd month, 27th day(Acension Day, June 4/5, 2005) is also 10 days before Pentecost. Then perhaps, May 28/29, 2005, we could see a spectacular warning from God? He wants us to know. He wanted Noah to know. He told him plainly. He told Moses before the death angel came. The blood saved them then, and will save us now.

4And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 5And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 6And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. Exodus 11

"In the latter days, you shall consider it perfectly". Jeremiah 23:20

Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. (Proverbs 28:5)

And he changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings and raises up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: he revealeth the deep and secret things: Daniel 2:21-22

My reply

There are at any one time two days on Earth. Iyar 26 and 27 on the Hebrew Calendar. When Noah exited the Ark, it was Cheshvan 27. As the "days" of Noah may hint that the day of the month, the 27th, is a clue, not necessarily the month.

I just noticed something interesting in Exodus 19. In verse:1, the Israelites arrived at Mt. Sinai "In the third month." In Scripture, when the month is mentioned without a day number, the first day of the month is meant. This is because chodesh means both new Moon and month. The Israelites arrived at Mt. Sinai Sivan 1.

Verse 2 explains, "For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the DESERT OF SINAI". This shows that Mt. Sinai was in the desert, i.e., it was the volcanic Mt. Jebel Halal, along the Way to Shur near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, not at Jebel Musa in the mountainous tip of the Sinai Peninsula.

Ex. 19:3,4 says, "Moses went up unto God (on Nisan 1), and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE YOU ON EAGLES' WINGS, AND BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF."

I assume that eagles circle looking for prey as the hawks I see flying around here do. The Israelites circled Mt. Sinai. De. 2:3 says, "Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward." Mt. Sinai represented Heaven, which I think is Saturn and it's rings. That's why they circled Mt. Sinai.

"I BARE YOU ON EAGLES' WINGS, AND BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF" seems to represent the Pre-Trib Rapture. It is clearly symbolic, and it took place BEFORE SIVAN 1. It is past tense. IT COULD BE A CLUE THAT THE RAPTURE ASCENSION WILL BE ON ASCENSION DAY, IYAR 26 (SATURDAY, JUNE 4 IN 2005). That would be on the Sabbath day 38 years after the Six-Day War began on Iyar 26 (June 5, 1967). See John 4:35; 5:4-9, where Jesus told the man who had an infirmity 38 years to rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

Isa 40:31 says, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Psa 103:5 says, "Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that THY YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE'S."

At the second Rapture, in Luke 17:36,37, "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body (i.e., the Body of Christ) is (in Heaven), thither will the EAGLES (i.e., the Tribulation saints) be gathered together." Agape

"The Law of the Fruit Trees - a Rapture Clue?"

In his April 28, 2005 post, Jim Bramlett reported that Israeli rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri is saying that we are now in the FOURTH year of a Sabbatical cycle. Jim also quoted Vendyl Jones, the Hebrew archeologist and researcher, as stating that 2000-2001 was the seventh year of the past Sabbatical cycle. If this is so, we would now be in the FOURTH year of the current Sabbatical cycle. In her book "TIME and the Bible's Number Code", Bonnie Gaunt also agrees that the year 2001-2002 is the year that starts a new Sabbatical cycle for Israel. Again this would make 2004-2005 the FOURTH year of the present cycle.

The first four years of the current Israeli Sabbatical cycle run as follows:
Year 1 Sept. 18 2001 through Sept. 6, 2002
Year 2 Sept. 7, 2002 through Sept. 26, 2003
Year 3 Sept. 27, 2003 through Sept. 15, 2004
Year 4 Sept. 16, 2004 through Oct. 3, 2005
An understanding of the time frame of year FOUR of the current Sabbatical cycle is essential to grasp the points I will be making.

There is a law in Leviticus 19 pertaining to fruit trees. It says:
vs. 23 When you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. Three years it shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten.
vs. 24 But in the FOURTH year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD.
vs. 25 In the fifth year you are to eat of its fruit, that its yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

Simply stated, the Jews were not allowed to eat the fruit from their newly planted trees for three years. During this time, the fruit was purifying itself. In the FOURTH year, all the fruit was to be taken to the Tabernacle/Temple and offered to the Lord. This was a first fruits type of offering.
When the fruit appeared in the fifth year, the people were free to eat and market their crop.

So how does the law of the fruit trees relate to the Rapture? To begin with, James 1:18 says that Christians are "a kind of first fruits." Leviticus 23:17 says that the two loaves baked with leaven and waved before the Lord at the Feast of Pentecost are "Firstfruits unto the Lord." As I stated in a previous post, Pentecost is a harvest feast. Leaven represents sin, and the two loaves waved before the Lord represent two distinct categories of redeemed sinners: the resurrected dead in Christ and those who will be raptured while physically alive (I Thess. 4:16, 17). The harvest feast which precedes Pentecost is called the Feast of Firstfruits. However this feast is free of leaven, and a sheaf of barley called the "Sheaf of the Firstfruits" is waved before the Lord and pictures the sinless, resurrected Christ. First Corinthians 15:22,23 shows how the two feasts relate to each other:

vs. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all (who belong to Christ) will be made alive.
vs. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming.
Christ is THE Firstfruits, and those raised/translated at Pentecost are "Firstfruits unto the Lord."

Now why is it significant that we are in the FOURTH year of a Sabbatical cycle? According to the the Levitical law, THE FIRST FRUITS OF THE FRUIT TREES WERE TO BE TAKEN TO THE TEMPLE IN THE FOURTH YEAR and offered before the Lord, corresponding to the waving of the two leavened loafs (Lev. 23:17). If the first fruits of the fruit trees represent Christians (Christ told us to bear much fruit), that means we could very well appear before the Lord in the Heavenly Temple in the FOURTH year of a Sabattical cycle. I also find it quite interesting that the Feast of Pentecost just happens to be the FOURTH of the seven Feasts of the Lord.

If the Church leaves the planet in June, what about Israel? The FOURTH year in a Sabbatical cycle seems to be in her future as well. Luke 13:6-9 tells us:
vs. 6 And He began telling this parable: A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard: and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.
vs. 7 And he said to the vineyard-keeper, Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?
vs. 8 And he answered and said to him, Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;
vs. 9 and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.
This parable may very well apply to the year in which we live!
The past three years the Palestinians, along with the manifold terrorist groups affiliated with them, have relentlessly attacked Israel and have caused them great suffering and heartache. Yet there has been no national repentance, and Israel's leadership continues to look to man rather than their God for deliverance.

The fig tree represents Israel. Apostate Christianity is, as it were, crying for Israel to be cut down. Numerous church denominations are trying to strangle Israel with threats of divestiture if the Israelis do not cave in to every single Palestinian demand. Numerous countries, including Russia and the United States, are entertaining schemes to help arm the Palestinian police (it is assumed that the arms will not be used against Israel). Three years the vineyard-keeper (Jehovah God) has looked for fruit on Israel's fig tree, but has found none. He currently sees Israel preparing to give away its Covenant Land in Gaza and the West Bank, with more land also to be given away in Jerusalem in the near future.

In the parable, the long suffering vineyard-keeper refuses the Devil's request (Satan is an accuser) to cut down the fruitless fig tree. Luke 13:8 indicates the Lord's patience will extend one more year, which will be YEAR FOUR. Israel is currently in the FOURTH year of a Sabattical cycle which extends from September 16, 2004 through October 3, 2005. THERE ARE LESS THAN FIVE MONTHS LEFT IN YEAR NUMBER FOUR.

We are also told in verse 8 that the Lord is going to dig around the fig tree and fertilize it. If the Two Witnesses (Enoch/Moses and Elijah) along with the 144,000 Jewish evangelists are unleashed shortly after the Church is raptured (June 12/13?), spiritual life will begin to return to Israel in year number FOUR.

The FOURTH year of the Sabbatical cycle we are now in may well be the year in which the Firstfruits (believers) are taken to the Heavenly Temple, and the fig tree (Israel) begins to show signs of spiritual life. May it be so, Lord Jesus.

My reply

What if the four years in the Barren Fig Tree Parable of Luke 13:6-9 START at the Rapture? Christ would come at the Rapture and check on Israel. Won't he have to do that anyway at the Rapture?

If the Rapture is on Ascension day in 5765 (June 4, 2005), Christ would come to check for fruit in Israel in 5765 (2005), 5766 (2006) and 5767 (2007). That would take up the three full years of the first half of the Tribulation. At that time, if he finds none, Israel will head into the Great Tribulation six months later.

Luke 13:7-9 says, "Behold, these THREE YEARS (5765, 5766 and 5768) I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, LET IT ALONE THIS YEAR ALSO (5768, 2007/2008), till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then AFTER THAT thou shalt cut it down."

I think the Day of God's Wrath will be the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5771 (Sept. 9, 2010). It looks like that Feast of Trumpets will be the day Gog's army attacks Israel.

We know that Israel is the fig tree. Hosea 9:10 says, "I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness (the spies brought grapes from the Promised Land); I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the FIG TREE at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame".

Joel 1:6-15 says, "a nation is come up upon MY LAND (Israel), strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion (i.e., the Satan-possessed False Prophet of Babylon III). He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my FIG TREE (removed the protective bark to kill it): he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD (on the Feast of Trumpets); the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine (of Tishri's vintage) is dried up, the oil languisheth. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the WHEAT (Tribulation saints, caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture) and for the BARLEY (1st crop to ripen, i.e., the Pre-Trib saints); because the harvest of the field (the field is the world) is PERISHED (abad, wandered away, i.e., raptured). The vine is dried up, and the fig tree (Israel) languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God (on the Feast of Trumpets). Sanctify ye a fast (i.e., start the Days of Awe that end with fasting on the Day of Atonement), call a solemn assembly (on the Feast of Trumpets), GATHER THE ELDERS and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, ALAS FOR THE DAY! FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AT HAND, AND AS A DESTRUCTION FROM THE ALMIGHTY SHALL IT COME."

Continuing, Joel 2:1-3 says, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion (it's the Feast of Trumpets), and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for THE DAY OF THE LORD COMETH, for it is nigh at hand; A DAY OF DARKNESS and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong (Gog's army, Eze. 38); there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. ('a strong people set in battle array', v.5)"

Joel 2:10,11 says, "The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: THE SUN AND THE MOON SHALL BE DARK, AND THE STARS SHALL WITHDRAW THEIR SHINING: And THE LORD SHALL UTTER HIS VOICE BEFORE HIS ARMY: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for THE DAY OF THE LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"

Joel 2:15-18 says, "Blow the trumpet in Zion (on the Feast of Trumpets), sanctify a fast (Day of Atonement), call a solemn assembly (on the Feast of Trumpets): Gather the people (from one end to the other, both in Heaven and Earth, the Pre-Wrath Rapture), sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders (Rev. 19:4), gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom (Christ) go forth of his chamber, and the bride (Bride of Christ) out of her closet (chuppah, wedding canopy). Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and LET THEM SAY, SPARE THY PEOPLE, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people."

Heb. 12:22,23 says, "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are written IN HEAVEN, and to God (Christ) the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect" (i.e., made immortal, I Cor. 15:51f).

At the GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN ON THAT FEAST OF TRUMPETS, Jesus will be given his Golden Crown, the Marriage of the Lamb will take place, then Jesus will be seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Rev. 11:18,19 says, "the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED, and that thou shouldest give REWARD unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND SHOULDEST DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an EARTHQUAKE, and great hail."

It is as if the two stone tablets in the Ark of the Covenant are dumped on the unbelievers on Earth. The asteroids of Rev. 8:8 and 10 impact Earth. Gog's army is stopped. Only 1/6th survive (Eze. 39:2). The Israelis bury the dead during the next 7 months to clease the land for the Lord's return (Eze. 39:12,13).
