Incoming e-mail, Prayer request from Finland

I've been reading your website since pro & con 300, and I thank Yeshua for all the things i've learned through your website.

I have urgent prayer request. My friends mom and dad got killed by their own son. I ask you to pray for the salvation of their two daughters. It was just one or two days before the murders happened, i tried to explain my faith in Yeshua with the other daughter. I told her that she needs Him too, but she refused. Please pray for both daughters, that they understand the world and their need for Jesus. Thanks, looking up Finland

My reply

I prayed for them, and will post it on a Pro and Con. Agape

Incoming email, Re: rapture who?

I have followed your site for a while now, and can see that you are really keying in on June 4th as a possible day for a rapture. Could you tell me your thoughts on who would be included?

Would all children be raptured? All believers? All followers? Thanks

My reply

It does not seem possible that all believers, followers, would go in the Pre-Trib Rapture. There are wise and foolish servants. In Luke 12:46, it says of the foolish servant, "The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him HIS PORTION (i.e., the shortened Tribulation) WITH THE UNBELIEVERS." This cutting off is why Jesus is seen in the Preview of the Rapture with a two-edged sword coming out of his mouth (Rev. 1:16).

Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder (cut him off), and appoint him his portion (the shortened Tribulation) with the hypocrites (pretenders): there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH." Continuing on the same subject, Mt. 25:1-13 says, "Then (tote, at the same time, i.e., at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture) shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil (i.e., no extra oil of the Holy Spirit in their vessels, bodies) with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels (bodies) with their lamps. While the bridegroom (Christ) tarried (maybe 7 years, 1998 to 2005), they all slumbered and slept. And AT MIDNIGHT (maybe on Ascension Day) there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom (Christ) cometh; go ye (believers) out to meet him. Then all those virgins (believers) arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil (i.e., Holy Spirit); for our lamps are gone (lit., going) out (i.e., sputtering). But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and THEY THAT WERE READY WENT IN WITH HIM TO THE MARRIAGE (i.e., only the Bride of Christ is ready): and the door (Heaven's door, Rev. 4:1) was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins (foolish believers), saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore (believers), for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." No one knew on that day, which was two days before the Crucifixion, that the Head of the Bride of Christ would ascend on Ascension Day, 40 days after his resurrection.

We must be called, chosen and faithful. Of the wedding banquet, Mt. 22:11-14 says, "when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? (white robe of righteousness) And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness (i.e., outside the Rapture door darkness); there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN."

In Rev. 17, the 1st Rapture has just taken place. The 10 kings have no kingdom as yet. Verse 14 says, "they that are with him (the Lamb of God, i.e., Christ) are CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL."

The Bride wears white. Rev. 19:7,8 says, "the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (lit., righteousnesses of saints, i.e., Christ's righteousness imputed to them plus their own righteous acts while filled with the Holy Spirit).

I assume that the underage children of wise-virgin parents would be raptured.

The 1st Rapture is as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37). In Gen 7:1, "the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou AND ALL THY HOUSE into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation."

Act 16:31 says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, AND THY HIOUSE."

At the 1st Rapture, the Pre-Trib Rapture, the wise virgins have obviously used I John 1:8,9. It says, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

In John 7:23, Jesus said, "If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man EVERY WHIT WHOLE ON THE SABBATH DAY?" Ascension Day, June 4, 2005, is on the Sabbath.

John 13:6-10 is important. It says, "Then cometh he (Jesus) to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, IF I WASH THEE NOT, THOU HAST NO PART WITH ME. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is CLEAN EVERY WHIT: and ye are clean, but not all (not Judas Iscariot)."

We need to let Jesus wash our feet. That's why I John 1:9 is so important. Then we will be clean every whit. We will be wearing white.

By the time of the 2nd Rapture, The Pre-Wrath Rapture, the tribulum-threshed wheat will have "washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Rev. 7:14). The 144,000 Israelites will be added to the Bride group, because "they are virgins...without fault before the throne of God" (Rev. 14:4,5). It looks like none of the great multitude that cannot be numbered (Rev. 7:9) will be added to the Bride group. Obviously, the Bride group can be numbered.

Ruth was a type of the barley harvest, the first harvest, the harvest that only required winnowing, throwing it up in the air to let the chaff blow away. Boaz, type of Christ as our kinsman redeemer, gave Ruth 6 measures of barley. That would make 6/7ths, since 7 is the number of completion. The other 1/7th measure is probably the 144,000. Agape

Incoming email, Re: 864,000

I have trouble believing that only 864,000 people would ascend in the first rapture. That is only 432 believers per annum worldwide during the last 2000 years.... I sure hope that the criteria to make it to heaven during the first rapture (which is imminent) is not that tough!

May 28 is also a possibility. 28th Omer, 28 is a lunar cycle, 28(0) is a gestation cycle of the human. Tom Gaston's predictions for 5/28 sound interesting despite the fact that all his work with Bible codes did not materialize so far. Maybe he is right this time or your interpretation may very well turn out correct. Not long now to find out! YBIC

My reply

Ascension Day for the ascension sounds better to me. Jesus, the head of the Body of Christ ascended that day. How can you beat that? Also, how abour 864,000 LIVING believers in the generation that doesn't have to die? Agape

Incoming e-mail, Re: Knowing the day of the rapture

Having read much of your research and reading what the word of God states regarding the timing, I have 3 questions.

1. What makes you think that through any means of reason or calculation someone could know the day of the rapture?
2. Even if we knew of the day, what exactly would it mean?
3. Do you think God wants us to know the day? Sincerely

My reply

> > 1. What makes you think that through any means of reason or calculation someone could know the day of the rapture?

Why not? Do you know who Jesus, our Redeemer, really is? II Cor. 5:19 says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself."

In Isa 44:6, God said, "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) the King of Israel, AND his redeemer (Christ) the LORD (YHVH) of hosts; I am the first (YHVH King of Israel), AND I am the last (YHVH of hosts, the redeemer, Christ); and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD." Do you know what Christ said in Mark 13:23? He said, "But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things." Since he is YHWH King of Israel and YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, I just take him at his word. He is God in a human body. He knows everything. He's omniscient. The Old Testament was inspired by him. The New Testament was inspired by him. He is THE authority.

In his Olivet Discourse, Jesus said, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only" (Mat 24:36 ). That was two days before the Crucifixion. In the first place, it is present tense. On that day, no man knew. Why? My guess is that the Rapture will be on Ascension Day. Two days before the Crucifixion, no man knew there would even be an Ascension Day. It was a total surprise when it happened.on the 40th day after the Resurrection.

In Luke 8:17, Jesus said, "For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad."

In Luke 12:2, Jesus said, "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known."

In Mark 4:22, Jesus said, "For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad."

> > 2. Even if we knew of the day, what exactly would it mean?

Whether we know or not, the Pre-Trib Rapture will be the catching up to Heaven of the wise Philadelphian virgins that are the Bride of Christ. They are wearing white robes, because not only have they accepted Christ as their own personal Saviour so their "old sins" (II Peter 1:9) would be wiped off the books, they have confessed their new sins committed after the day of Salvation. This brings all their sins under the blood of Christ.

In Rev. 3:4-6, Jesus said, "Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. HE THAT OVERCOMETH, THE SAME SHALL BE CLOTHED IN WHITE RAIMENT; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

In Rev. 3:18,19, Jesus told the foolish Laodicean virgins, "I counsel thee to buy of me gold (symbol of deity, i.e., the Holy Spirit) tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and WHITE RAIMENT, THAT THOU MAYEST BE CLOTHED, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

The first group, the Bride of Christ, will be caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture. The second group, of whom only the 144,000 will be added to the Bride group (Rev. 14:4), will have come "out of great tribulation, AND HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB." They will be caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Wrath Rapture.

How do we make our robes white? Use I John 1:9. It says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

New Jerusalem is in Heaven. "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life" (Rev. 21:27).

Rev. 19:7,8 says, "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness (lit., righteousnesses, both Christ's and their own acts committed while they are filled with the Holy Spirit) of saints." The Bride wears white.

Judgment begins at the house of God. Those caught up in the first Rapture are symbolized by the barley harvest. Barley is not threshed with a Tribulum (i.e., the Tribulation). Barley is winnowed. All it takes is to throw it up in the air and let the wind blow the chaff away.

Those caught up in the last Rapture are symbolized by the wheat harvest. The wheat had to be beaten with a Tribulum, a threshing instrument, before the grain was fit to use.

> > 3. Do you think God wants us to know the day?

Of course. At the first Rapture, the foolish Laodicean virgins will be left behind. Luke 12:46 says, "The lord of that servant (the foolish one) WILL COME IN A DAY WHEN HE LOOKETH NOT FOR HIM, AND AT AN HOUR WHEN HE IS NOT AWARE, AND WILL CUT HIM IN SUNDER (lit., cut him off), AND WILL APPOINT HIM HIS PORTION (the shortened Tribulation) WITH THE UNBELIEVERS." Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders): there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

In Rev. 3:3, Jesus said, "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."

Turn it around. If we do watch, he will not come on us as a thief, and we shall "KNOW WHAT HOUR I WILL COME UPON THEE."

I Thess. 5:1-6 says, "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren (believers), are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT, NOR OF DARKNESS. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober." It looks like the Pre-Trib Rapture will be on the Sabbath day. John 7:23 says, "If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?" Ascension Day will be on Saturday this year.

The Sign of the End of the Age that we were watching for was the Six-Day War of 1967. Israel grew leaves (Sinai, Golen Heights, Gaza Strip) fulfilling the fig-tree parable of Mt. 24:32-34. It could not have been fulfilled any later, because Israel was 19 years old. At the Exodus, any 20 and over were no longer considered young. The parable says, "When his branch (i.e., Israel) is yet tender (apalos, young).

The War started June 5. That was Iyar 26. Thirty-eight years later, Ascension day is Saturday, Iyar 26, 5765 (June 4, 2005).

In John 4:35, Jesus said, "Say not ye, There are yet four months (Sivan, Tamuz, Av, and Elul), and then cometh harvest? (The 2nd Rapture is on Tishri 1). behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields (in Iyar); for they are white already to harvest." Barley shows white when ready to harvest.

Then, in John 5:5, "a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years." In verse 8, Jesus said to him, "RISE, take up thy bed, and walk." In verse 9, "on the same day was the sabbath."

June 5, 1967 was Iyar 26. Thirty-eight years later, June 4, 2005 is Iyar 26, and it is Ascension Day.

Deu 2:14 says, "And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them." After 38 years, only those that had been 19 or younger were still alive. They went into the Promised Land. It seems likely that we will cross over 38 years after the beginning of the Six-Day War--Ascension Day, Iyar 26, 5765 (June 4, 2005). Agape

Incoming e-mail, Re: Day of Ascension/Rapture

I was studying the time/date/day of Ascension and the verses in Act 1:9-11:

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Given that the crucifixion was on a Thursday (April 6, 30AD) and ascension was on a Thursday (May 18, 30AD) why would not the rapture also occur on a Thursday and in this case, perhaps, June 9th, 2005, a Thursday. I calculate an interesting timeline from April 6, 30 AD to June 9th, 2005 of 720,000 days (2000 yrs.) plus 1,420 days. What caught my attention about the 1,420 days is that it is equal to 4 lunar years (4x355 days) and we know 4 is the number of earth and the gematria for 1420 is also related to earth as in Genesis 1 and perhaps Joshua's "long day" occurred in 1420 BC. Although ascension day on the current Jewish calendar would correspond to Iyar 26th and June 4th (Gregorian), Saturday, the Julian calendar has ascension occurring on Julian May 27th (Thursday) or June 9th Gregorian calendar (the new crescent Moon will be in Gemini near Saturn). Ten days later is Pentecost on the Julian calendar and happens to be June 19th (Father's day) on the Gregorian calendar. Might we have an extra five days of grace from June 4th as IS had during the six day war in 1967. Just as Christ ascended on a Thursday might he not descend also on a Thursday to the lower heaven to rapture the believers who will be ascended back with Him ! *Note 9/9/2010 Rosh Hashanah is also on a Thursday.

My reply

> > Given that the crucifixion was on a Thursday (April 6, 30AD) and ascension was on a Thursday (May 18, 30AD) why would not the rapture also occur on a Thursday and in this case, perhaps, June 9th, 2005, a Thursday.

It wouldn't be Ascension Day. I don't think Ascension day was Thursday. Pentecost, Sivan 7, 3790 (the 50th day after Resurrection Day), was Monday, May 29, 30 AD (Julian, which was in use in 30 AD). Ascension Day was 10 days before Pentecost, i.e., on Iyar 26, 3790, May 19, 30 AD, Friday.

Lev. 23:15,16 says, "ye shall count unto you FROM THE MORROW (Sunday) AFTER THE SABBATH (Saturday), FROM THE DAY THAT YE BROUGHT THE SHEAF OF THE WAVE-OFFERING (Sunday), SEVEN SABBATHS (7 weeks) SHALL BE COMPLETE: EVEN UNTO THE MORROW AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH (week) SHALL YE NUMBER FIFTY DAYS..."

Pentecost is the FEAST OF WEEKS. Ex. 34:22 says, "thou shalt observe the FEAST OF WEEKS, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end."
Deu 16:10 says, "thou shalt keep the FEAST OF WEEKS unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee".
Deu 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the FEAST OF WEEKS, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty
2Ch 8:13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the FEAST OF WEEKS, and in the feast of tabernacles."
