RADIATION FROM THE PLANET'S WARM INTERIOR
Saturn's Infrared Glow
...Saturn looks strange and unfamiliar in this false-color view from the Cassini spacecraft. In fact, in this Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) mosaic the famous rings are almost invisible, seen edge-on cutting across picture center. The most striking contrast in the image is along the terminator or boundary between night and day. To the right (day side) blue-green hues are visible sunlight reflected from Saturn's cloud tops. But on the left (night side) in the absence of sunlight, the lantern-like glow of infrared RADIATION FROM THE PLANET'S WARM INTERIOR silhouettes features at Saturn's deeper cloud levels. The thermal infrared glow is also apparent in the broad bands of ring shadows draped across the northern hemisphere...
Incoming e-mail, Re: Bizarre 'string of pearls' adorns Saturn
Thought you might like to see this neat image and the article as well.
Thanks much. It is interesting for us to have Cassini up there photographing Saturn before we get there. We have a lot to learn about that planet.
Bizarre 'string of pearls' adorns Saturn
David Shiga, Pasadena, October 2006
A "string of pearls" is draped around Saturn's northern hemisphere. The "pearls" are gaps in the clouds, which may be the result of regularly spaced downdrafts. The clouds themselves appear dark in this image (Image: NASA/JPL/University of Arizona)
A mysterious "string of pearls" has been imaged in Saturn's atmosphere by NASA's Cassini spacecraft. These and other features indicate that the Ringed Planet's atmosphere is much more active than expected.
Before Cassini arrived at Saturn, scientists thought the planet was a relatively placid place compared to Jupiter...Since then, infrared images that cut through Saturn's high-altitude haze have revealed that the planet is seething with activity lower down.
A newly released image shows a bizarre string of alternating bright and dark patches, something never seen in the atmosphere of Saturn or any other planet....
This, along with other strange features such as doughnut-shaped clouds and closely spaced cloud bands show that Saturn is just as active as Jupiter...
Re: Possible meteoroid impact on Saturn's D ring
As Cassini imaging scientists extrapolated the spiraling trend backward in time, they found that it completely unwound in 1984, leaving only an inclined, or tilted, sheet of material. The researchers speculate such an inclined sheet may have been produced around that time by the impact of a comet or meteoroid into the D ring which kicked out a cloud of fine particles that ultimately inherited some of the tilt of the impactor's trajectory as it slammed into the rings. Another possibility is that the impactor struck an already inclined moonlet, shattered it to bits and the debris remained in an inclined orbit.
Incoming e-mail, Re: Harvest Chart
We have not corresponded in ages, I trust you are well.
A good while ago I remember you publishing a harvest chart which depicted the approximate month of harvest for various types of foods.
If you still have it handy, I was hoping you could forward it to me asap. Blessing!
Good to hear from you.
See "Harvest Seasons of Ancient Israel," at:
The following is also interesting, since Jesus mentioned drinking new wine in the kingdom of God (Mk. 14:25).
"The new wine festival came 50 days or seven weeks after Pentecost. Until new wine was offered, no one could drink any of the new juice (Temple Scroll, columns 19-21). Fourteen weeks after Pentecost, shortly before the Feast of Trumpets, was the new olive oil festival. No one could use new olives until some oil had been offered..."
Notice that June has grapes, July has grapes and figs, August and September have grapes, figs and pomegranates. Olives are harvested in September, October and November.
However, olives are actually harvested until Hanukkah. They had olives to make new oil for the lamps at Hanukkah. That process took 8 days.
Remember what Haggai 2:19 says about Kislev 24: "Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, HATH NOT BROUGHT FORTH (NASA, lifted up): from this day (i.e., from Kislev 24 on) will I bless YOU (the Bride of Christ?)."
Will Kislev 25, 5767 (Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006), the first day of Hanukkah, be the day of the Rapture? Hmmm. My parents were married on Christmas Eve. I wonder if that could be a hint about Kislev 24. Food for thought. Agape
Good info you sent me. I will research it in conjunction with my view.
John 4:35 "Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’?
To me this clearly says the harvest is four month premature, and since wheat is related to the harvest of man, we work backward from that time to get the approximate month.
Hanukkah seems to be what we are all looking for.
I am excited as we come to the close of this year.
Seems everyone want to go to war, but we will wage the spiritual war.
Thanks for the Feast Chart! Blessing!
I see. The four months before next Nisan (month of the barley harvest, and barley turns white at harvest time) are Kislev, Teveth, Shevat and Adar, and Hanukkah is Kislev 25. Thanks. I had not applied the four months this way.
If this is correct, the Rapture will be in a year that is NOT a Leap Year, a year with a 13th month, Adar II. The year 5768 (2007/2008) is the next Hebrew Leap Year. Therefore, the Rapture should come before 5768. If on Hanukkah, it would have to be between Dec. 16-23, 2006.
The year 5767 has just started. September 23, 2006 was the Feast of Trumpets. The year 5768 will start September 13, 2007. That is the 40th year since the Six-Day War of 5728 (our 1967) (5728 + 40 = 5768).
If the wise virgins had oil enough for one day, it could last 8 days, as at the first Hanukkah. The Rapture could take place during those 8 days.
Mat 24:32-34 says, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel, Joel 1:7); When his branch (modern Israel) is yet tender (apalos, young, i.e., no more than 19, as Israel was in 1967), and putteth forth leaves (Sinai, Gaza, Golan Heights, and West Bank in the Six-Day War), ye know that summer is nigh (The war started June 6; summer began June 21): So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (the kingdom of God, Luke 21:31) is near, even at the doors (symbol of a Rapture, Rev. 3:8). Verily I say unto you, This generation (1967 to 2007) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Thus, the Rapture would be before 5768 starts on Sept. 13, 2008.
Look what John 10:22-30 says, "And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication (Hannukah), and it was winter (beginning Dec. 21; i.e., Kislev 30 through Teveth 2; Dec. 21,22, and 23) ). And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE (the 'shout' of I Thess. 4:16), and I know them, and they follow me: And I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."
Maybe 2006 is our last year here before the Tribulation starts. I hope so. Keep watching, and please send me your studies on Hanukkah. Agape
Incoming e-mail, Re: Welcome Back!!
What a joy to see the answers to prayer in your postings this morning!! God is so good to give you a monitor for cataract challenged eyes! I understand what you have endured as I had surgery for a non-age related cataract almost a year ago. I just had my first check up and was told me eyes are now very healthy! You have been sorely missed in your absence! My prayer for you is that the challenges faced result in glory to God as we ascend in victory! We have been tried and now Lord rapture us into your eternal joy and presence!
Has God yet supplied a motorized vehicle for Ed? It is also my prayer for your sustaining until He comes for us!
We are so clearly in the season of His return!! All of the miracles that I have seen in response to my prayers were based on "this fall" rather than a specific day...He is clearly pointing to this season for our rapture! We are all hoping now for Nov.8 to be His victory over this world in our departure!!
God bless you richly with a deep sense of His presence and the knowledge that we are about to be held by His arms! Agape
Many thanks for your prayers. Not only could I not get on line lots of times, I couldn't upload to my web site. That happened once before when I had to get a new computer and download my FTP client program again.
I have wished I never heard of DSL or setting up a home network. I bridged the modem, and that helped some. The first router wasn't being recognized by my computer, because the power light blinked constantly. The second router had a bad connection on the first of 4 Ethernet sockets. Last night, I finally took out that cable and put it in No. 2. The router light finally turned white, as it should be, instead of orange. I ran the Network Setup Wizard again on my computer, then on Ed's, clicked for it to ignore a disconnected cable, and finally got both computers online with DSL. So far, it is holding up. Whew! what a battle. I'd go to bed with them online and wake up to fight again to get them back online. I couldn't do it some days. The Modem cable is properly connected to the router by my computer, but not to a Gateway that Brandi has on her computer. That caused a connection problem until I clicked for the setup Wizard to ignore the disconnected cable.
Just as I was feeling better about the whole thing, the car broke down big time today, had to be towed home. It looks like the engine is gone for good (probably threw a rod). I had a hunch that I should finish my article on the Temple location before trying to install the DSL. That turned out to be a good hunch, probably put in my head by the Lord. I have had nothing but trouble ever since. He would have known what was coming.
Ed hasn't gotten a motorized chair yet. We should hear from SCAN soon, but if it is like the motorized lift recliner, they just never answer. David found a broken-down lift recliner at a thrift store and has had to fix it about three times, but it serves the purpose. Maybe the Rapture is close enough that Ed can manage without the motorized chair. He is afraid to go out much, afraid he will get "stuck" like he did at Farmer Boys. It took three of us to get him in there that day.
I sure hope the Rapture is soon, if not Cheshvan 17, then between Kislev 24 and 27. In Noah's day, it rained 40 days. Forty days after Cheshvan 17 (Nov. 8) is Kislev 27 (Dec. 18, 2006).
I am so sorry, Marilyn. The frustrations are a marker of how valuable your input is to the Lord and to those of us watching. The enemy has especially targeted you and your household. Do you mind if I forward your letter to Five Doves for prayer? We need to uphold you together. I am praying about the frustrations of the computer and the car and Ed's motorized chair. Let me know.
Of course it's ok. We covet prayers in our behalf. There has to be a good reason why so many of these things are happening. Maybe we are getting out of here during Hannukah, and I am supposed to be so distracted that I won't see it. Well, that won't work. We have the Lord on our side, and the Lord's work will get done in spite of distractions. For instance, one of the two last things my old electricity-damaged computer was able to do in extremely slow motion, barely working, was to upload a Pro and Con and print out my 95 pages of Temple-location research. I know the Lord held it together to do it. After that, I tried to run System Recovery and it wouldn't boot to Windows because the register keys could not be restored. Not to be outdone, Ed sent me out immediately to buy another computer.
The Lord indicated that the Rapture is to be as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37), who died in 2006 AH (1656 + 350 = 2006). That ended those days of Noah. Therefore, there is a good chance that the Rapture will take place in 2006 AD. The 40 years indicated in the parable of the fig tree in Mt. 24:32-34 will end in 2007. The year of the Six-Day War, 5728, + 40 = 5768, which starts Sept. 13, 2007. This coming December will be the last Hannukah before 5768 begins.
The Lord closed Noah into the Ark on Cheshvan 17 and it began to rain. Forty days later, the water had lifted the Ark above the earth. Forty days after Cheshvan 17 this year will be December 18, Kislev 27. Hanukkah will begin Kislev 25 and run 8 days.
Haggai appropriately means festive. In 2:18,19, it says, "Consider now from this day and UPWARD, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, (Kislev 24, Hannukah Eve) even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it...Is the seed (Jesus, Gen. 3:15) yet in the barn? (i.e., in Mary's womb) yea (YES, Jesus was conceived at this time), as yet the vine (Jesus), and the fig tree (Israel), and the pomegranate, and the olive tree (into which Gentiles can be grafted), hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you." (i.e., the Bride of Christ).
If the wise virgins have enough oil for one day, maybe it will last eight days, as the oil for one day lasted eight days during the first Hanukkah. John 10:22,23,27,28 says, "it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication (Hanukkah, dedication of the Temple), and it was winter (i.e., after Dec. 21, when the Sun starts its journey upward). And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch...My sheep hear my voice (as in I Thess. 4:16), and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."
I just got an email that opened my eyes to the meaning of John 4:35. It says, "Say not ye, There are yet four months (Kislev, Teveth, Shevat and Adar), and then cometh harvest (in Nisan)? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white (barley is white at harvest time) already to harvest" (i.e., in Kislev).
I'm sure glad you got good news about your eyes being healthy now. Agape
The "Second Coming" of
By John D. Keyser
Revelation 4:10 -- 5:7: The 24 older persons fell down before the one seated on the throne and worshipped the one that lives forever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, JEHOVAH [YEHOVAH], even our God to receive the glory and the honor
and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created." And I saw in the right hand of the one seated upon the throne a scroll written within and on the reverse side, sealed tight with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice: "Who is worthy to open the scroll and loosen its seals?"
"But one of the older persons says to me: 'Stop weeping. Look! The Lion that is of the tribe of Judah [Christ], the root of David, has conquered so as to open the scroll and its seven seals.' And I saw standing in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the older persons a LAMB [CHRIST] as though it had been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which [eyes] mean the seven spirits of God that have been sent forth into the whole earth.
And he went and at once took [it] out of the right hand of THE ONE SEATED ON THE THRONE [YEHOVAH, YHVH]" (verses 4:10-5:2).
Here, again, we PLAINLY SEE that Christ and YEHOVAH (YHVH) are TWO SEPARATE ENTITIES. In other words, the Christ of the New Testament is NOT the same as the YEHOVAH of the Old Testament
I disagree. Christ of the New Testament was Yehovah of the Old Testament. We shouldn't let a scripture that is hard to understand interpret a scripture that is easy to understand. In John 10:30, Jesus plainly declared, "I and my Father are one" (heis, a primary numeral; one). We can't make it say two when it plainly says "one." In verse 38, Jesus said, "know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him."
John 8:23-27 says, "And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I AM FROM ABOVE: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I (Jesus) am he (God the Father), ye shall die in your sins. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that HE SPAKE TO THEM OF THE FATHER."
Isaih 44:6 agrees. It says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH, i.e., Yahweh/ Jehovah) the King of Israel, AND his REDEEMER the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I am THE FIRST (YHWH King of Israel), AND I am THE LAST (YHWH of hosts); and beside me there is no God."
Isa 45:21-22 agrees. It says, "who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD (YHWH)? and THERE IS NO GOD ELSE BESIDE ME; a just God (YHWH King of Israel) AND a Saviour (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, Yahshua/Jesus); THERE IS NONE BESIDE ME. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else."
Isa 48:16-18 says, "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD (1. Yahweh), and his Spirit (2. the Holy Spirit), hath sent me" (3. Jesus). Thus saith the LORD (YHWH), thy Redeemer (JESUS), the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD (YHWH) thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS!" (the commandments of YHWH, King of Israel, who is also YHWH of hosts, the redeemer/Jesus/the Lord 'FROM ABOVE').
One God is known as the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name (singular) of the Father (1), and of the Son (2), and of the Holy Ghost" (3).
II Cor. 5:19 sums it up in a nutshell. It plainly says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself".
After we are well grounded in the truth, we can figure out what Rev 4:2,3 and 5:6 mean. Rev. 4:2,3 says, "behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one (YHWH, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper (the first stone in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (the last stone in the breastplate): and there was a rainbow round about the throne (i.e., the rings around Saturn), in sight like unto an emerald" (Judah's stone in the breastplate).
God, the one who is both the first (YHWH King of Israel) and the last (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer of the tribe of Judah) is sitting on the throne. In Rev 1:8, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
Rev 22:13-16, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning (YHWH King of Israel) AND the end (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, Jesus), the FIRST AND THE LAST....I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root (YHWH King of Israel) AND the offspring of David (Jesus), and the bright and morning star" (his throne is on Saturn).
Since God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is sitting on the throne in heaven in Rev. 4:2, we can see why Jesus in Rev 5:6 is symbolized by the Lamb. It says, "I beheld, and, lo, IN THE MIDST OF THE THRONE and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a LAMB as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." This lamb of God is also the Lion of the tribe of Judah.
God being on the throne in Heaven at the same time that he is in the Lamb of God in Heaven takes no stretch of the imagination. God is everywhere at the same time all of the time. Act 17:28 says, "For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." The Father was in Heaven when the Son of God was on Earth. Yet Jesus said, "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30).
Jesus is both the root (Yahweh) and the offspring of David (Jesus/ Yahshua, which means Yahweh saves) (Rev. 22:16). He has two natures. He is fully God and fully man.
Isa 9:6,7 explains the root and the offspring of David. It says, "unto us a child is born (Jesus, his human nature inherited from his mother), unto us a son is given (his deity, given him by his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, the first and the last; Isa. 44:6) will perform this."
