Noah's Ark Replica
I just thought it was interesting that the doors of this replica of Noah's
Ark were just opened Saturday, 04-28-2007. No direct tie in, but just
interesting considering the times.
Replica of Noah's Ark Opens Doors to Visitors
April 29, 2007
SCHAGEN, Netherlands — The massive central door in the side of Noah's Ark was thrown open Saturday — you could say it was the first time in 4,000 years — drawing a crowd of curious pilgrims and townsfolk to behold the wonder.
Of course, it's only a replica of the biblical Ark, built by Dutch creationist Johan Huibers as a testament to his faith in the literal truth of the Bible....
Incoming e-mail, Re: regarding your post on Rapture and the shortened trib
You believe the shortened trib will start May 29, 2009 so do you believe that the Rapture will also occur in May 2009?
No! I expect the Rapture in TWO WEEKS, on Israel's 40th Independence Day, Monday, May 14, 2007, which also happens to be Ascension Day, Iyar 26, 5767. It all came together for me on Easter. Iyar 26 is the date of Jesus' ascension in 30 AD. That was 40 years before the Temple went up in smoke in 70 AD. Several things tie in.
The Six-Day War started June 5, 1967 (Iyar 26, 5727). That war fullfilled the Fig Tree Parable of Mt. 24:32-34. It was the Sign of the End of the Age. It couldn't have been one year later. Israel could not be over 19 years old, she was "apalos," young, and she was 19 in 1967. Forty years later will be Iyar 26, 5767. Why do we say that life begins at 40? We might get surprised that eternal life does begin 40 years after the Six-Day War.
In the past, Israel was abused by Egypt 400 years, then the Exodus took place. After that, the Israelites were tried in the desert 40 years, then went into their promised land.
Four hundred years ago, in 1607, the Jamestown colony made their Exodus to the New World. They disembarked on the lower fringe of Chesapeake Bay on May 14, 1607. Now, exactly 400 years later, on May 14, 2007, which is 40 years after the Six-Day War, we will probably complete our 40 years of testing and go into our promised land, Heaven.
In 70 AD, the earthly Temple went up in clouds of smoke. Theoretically, it was no longer on Earth, but in the heavens. I think that in 2007 AD, the temple of the Holy Spirit is likely to go up into the heavens in clouds.
Read my Home Page for all my projected dates, even of the Second Advent, and reasons why. For more on Jamestown colony as a type, see Pro and Con 1333.
I think the Jubilee Year will start Nisan 1, 5777, Sunday, March 26, 2017. That will be 50 years after the Six-Day War.
In 30 AD, Jesus, the head of the Body of Christ, ascended on the 40th day, and the Holy Spirit descended on the 50th day, Pentecost, which means 50. I'm no prophet, but it seems likely that the ascension of the Bride of Christ would be on the 40th year, and the Jubilee start on the 50th year. To me, everything fits like never before. May 14 is approaching fast. We will know soon. Be ready. Agape
Incoming e-mail, Re: Sharing Spiritual Experiences
I am so grateful to you and those people who have provided you with testimonies of their experiences of the imminent return of the Lord. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I have been inspired to tell you of my blessings from the Lord also, hoping others also may be encouraged.
In 1957 when I was 19 years old, I was sitting calmly in my bedroom studying one afternoon at about 3 o’clock. Quite unexpectedly, and never having heard of a similar occurrence in anyone else ever, I was suddenly grabbed upwards out of my body and found myself floating thousands of feet up in the sky above the township of Vereeniging where I lived. Below me I was conscious of all the people below, running around, each one busy with their own trivial affairs. Their thoughts came floating up to me like bubbles do in water, bursting open when they reached me. I was able to project myself through the air by only using my will power. I experienced an incredible explosion in awareness for want of a better word, which I now perceive to have been a sort of super-consciousness state. I had incredible knowledge at my disposal. It was a fantastic feeling; I should imagine it to be the state of mind that an angel would be in all the time. I could do unbelievable things with my thoughts but these were suddenly taken from me. Those fantastic few moments did something for me though, because the memory still influences me to this very day, although I certainly do not have the mental power I experienced then.
A divine presence had been next to me during those seconds, who for a few years I did not positively identify because of the fear that I might have been tempted by Lucifer who I had no intention of following. I had grown up in a nominal Christian home and did not know my Bible very well then. I wanted to be absolutely certain that it was God who had visited me. At that time I had not been born again in the Lord Jesus Christ either. During the experience the Lord had said to me, “If you seek me, and serve me, I will give all this back to you and much more”. In the next moment after that I was back again in my bedroom and walked on cloud nine for weeks afterwards. I told my family about it but they were not impressed at all and just looked at me in askance, so I just kept it to myself for years.
Many years later I realized that Enoch had a similar experience, and this resulted in me making an intensive study of the Scriptures for years and doing what the Lord had requested of me, with all my heart and soul. Enoch, I don’t have to remind you, walked with God who took him away, being the first recorded Rapture experience, and was referred to by Christ as a sign of the times to come during the promised Great Harvest. I believe Enoch to be the representative of the pre- Tribulation Saints of today.
Some nine years later while undergoing gastric surgery in hospital I died and met the Lord again at the entrance to Heaven. It was a wonderful experience, but He sent me back with work to do. Today I have no fear of death and only look forward in the “blessed hope “ of the prophets and saints of the ages awaiting the return of our Lord and Savior. What is of relevance for me though in particular is the fact that “That generation will not pass away before…‘I return’…..” This year on the 14th of September I will reach my three score and ten years, seventy being the “modern” length of a generation but my birthday being on the first day of the new Jewish year, the year being after all these things must happen. Time is therefore short. My experiences also overlap those of the birth of Israel. As usual the Lord appears to be waiting for almost the last moment to give everyone a full chance to be at His wedding supper.
Remember, the way to perdition is broad, and there are many who walk there on, the way to eternal life is narrow and there are few who find the door, and “The prayers of a righteous man accomplishes much” Very few people were ready and waiting for Him when He arrived the last time. Nominal Christians are in big peril at the moment because they do not have a spiritual relationship with Him and are not expecting Him at all. That is why the Pre Tribulation Rapture is so important as a sign to the elect to prepare themselves for His return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Shalom
Thanks much for sharing this with us at this important time.
It is strange how some people have experiences that others don't. Maybe we will know why someday. My grandmother dreamed things that were true. In one, she told my dad his wallet was by a truck's rear wheel in a certain garage, and he hadn't even told her that he lost it. It was there too. She often said that she could put off doing a certain thing today, because "tomorrow is another day, and if it isn't, it won't matter what we do today." I wonder what she would say if she were here today. She loved to laugh and tell jokes, but she was pretty shrewd along with it.
However, repentence is a different matter altogether. We should not put it off another instant, let alone another day. We want to go through the strait gate before the Tribulation begins. What is neat is that those that are asleep in Jesus will get to experience the Rapture the same as we will. It boggles the mind to think of how many people will be in the air on that day, and other people will see it happening.
Psa. 40:1-3 says, "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined (bent down) unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit (Earth), out of the miry clay (body of clay), and set my feet upon a rock (Heaven), and established my goings (at the Rapture). And he hath put a new song (as in Rev. 5:9) in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it (i.e., the people rising in the Rapture), and fear, and shall trust in the LORD." Shalom
Jamestown, May 14, 1607
By Marilyn Agee
Since May 14, 2007, is Ascension Day, and hopefully the Rapture, what happened exactly 400 years ago might be important for us to consider. On May 14, 1607, the 104 new colonists landed on Jamestown peninsula, which is at the southern edge of Chesapeake Bay.
On April. 29, 1607, this nation was dedicated to Christ by those first colonists. They said, "From these very shores the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World, but the entire world."
2Sa 7:23 says, "what one (echad, united) nation (i.e., the United States) in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?"
Act 7:6 says, "God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land (Egypt); and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years." After that, they came out in the Exodus to their promised land. The Exodus lasted 40 years.
In our days, the Rapture is our Exodus to our promised land (Heaven), and it might take place 40 years after the Six-Day War began on May 5 (Iyar 26, Ascension Day in 30 AD).
It is also important to remember that Israel declared their Independence on May 14, 1948. This year, Ascension Day is Iyar 26, which is also May 14. Therefore, it is both Ascension Day and Independence Day. It also comes at the end of a significant 400-year period and an important 40-year trial period. I can't think of a better time for the Pre-Trib Rapture. Can you?.
I heard that Israel is celebrating Independence Day May 14 through 19. That reminds us to take a look at this day.
A friend in Florida reminded me of that and gave me another bit of insight I had missed. Song of Solomon 2:10-14 says to rise up twice. She thought it might refer to the dead in Christ arising first, then after getting their resurrection bodies, the still living Bride of Christ would rise up with them into the clouds.
It makes sense. Here's what it says, "My beloved spake, and said unto me, RISE UP (qum, rise up, or rise up again), MY LOVE, MY FAIR ONE, AND COME AWAY. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (lit., turtledove) is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. ARISE (qum), MY LOVE, MY FAIR ONE, AND COME AWAY."
I have known about the migration of the turtledove for several years. A different friend that is a birdwatcher looked it up in a book he had. He told me that they come in April and leave in October.
Today, this girl told me that over a million birds of prey, including vultures, come to Bashan in March and April and leave in September and October. It truly is a time of the singing of scads of birds. Bashan was called the land of the giants.
Incoming e-mail, Re: Significant events to Watch out for in the coming few weeks
With the very important Ascension Day 2007on May the 14th approaching, it could be highly significant and very rewarding to keep an eye open for developments on the Gaza Strip involving Ethiopians especially during the week preceding the 14th. Noah was given a final seven days of warning of the flood, could this be one of our final warning signs coming up too?
A lot of activity is going on at the moment in Ethiopia, a country that is not often in the news but is under attack by the Moslems. Many Ethiopians have also recently been accepted as part of the lost tribes of Israel and have been given the right to return and receive Israeli citizenship.
History always repeats itself. That is one of the cardinal tenets of prophesy. The Lord did just not dump this little episode in the Scriptures to keep us entertained, there was a very definite reason and lesson in it for this time. Could this not have relevance and contain a warning sign of the impending pre Tribulation Rapture? Will it have something to do with a “eunuch” situation on the Gaza Strip?
I hope you find it interesting too, because I believe that it is extremely relevant at this moment. The next weeks will prove if I am right or not but this is a chance not to be missed.
By His grace, Yours sincerely
A Case for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture / Philip and the Ethiopian Official.
What was Gods very important reason for giving us the story of Philip meeting the Ethiopian Official on the Gaza Road and Philips consequential rapture afterwards? Acts 8. 26 to 40.
The earlier recorded raptures of Enoch, Isaiah and Christ all are highly significant with regard to the coming Tribulation Period. Where does the case of this apparently insignificant one fit in if at all? Reference to this extract form Holy Scripture is highly significant especially today because of the prominence of the Gaza Strip (or road?) in all the latest news reports. It is also the place where Samson brought down the pagan temple and is an area that has been given by the Lord to Israel. The Moslems are occupying it illegally today. Reference to Sampson, blinded, could represent the deceived and blind nominal Christians of today who become passionate about their faith after the pre-Tribulation Rapture and eventually be involved with the destruction of the pagan religions of the world as he did at the time by destroying the two pillars in their temple.
1. It is the first record of a case of the rapture occurring in the post-Christ New Testament era, so it will definitely be relevant to our era. The other two raptures of Paul and John came later and both could have relevance and representations to the raptures that occur during the Tribulation Period ( Paul was blind before he took Christ’s message to the West. Our churches of today also are blind to the great events happening at this time, never preaching about the fulfillment of prophesy ?)
2. It appears to be of short duration and distance (Occurring to a believer who returned very soon (as will the Pre Trib Saints) and who obeyed the instructions he received blindly and with great haste and faith. It the only one recorded where the participant went to a "castle", or fortress (a place of protection or Christ's bosom during the Tribulation?) the town of Azotus.
3. Philip, a lover of horses (fast movement) and one of the first seven deacons (completion), was instructed by an angel to go to Gaza meaning "the strong place".
4. On the road under the guidance of the Holy Spirit he was directed to the Ethiopian eunuch, (an incomplete person representing incomplete believers and passionless as of today's typical nominal Christians?) an important official in charge of the treasury (Lots of wealth like today's nominal Christians) of the Queen of Sheba,
5. He was a nominal or partial believer at that time and had gone to Jerusalem to worship in the temple of Solomon and was on his way HOME.
In his carriage he was studying the Book of the PROPHET (prophesy, of things to come) Isaiah concerning the suffering of Christ and was reading Isa.53: 7&8.."no one will be able to tell about His descendants because His life on earth has come to an END" ( End of Church Age of today?) The eunuch had the scriptures like so many of our church going brethren, but was not entirely committed until that morning.
6. The eunuch asked Philip to explain the scriptures to him, and when they came to a place with water asked to be baptized. (Became enthusiastic from luke warm to passionate after the Pte Trib Rapture?)
7. Philip was then raptured away and the eunuch went on his way "full of joy." to await his own resurrection later.
It would appear that Philip represents the pre-Tribulation saints who provide a testimony to the left-behind nominal Christians or unorthodox church (outside the Jewish community of Philips day and outside the regular church community of this period)
Acts 8, 26 to 40.
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
And he arose ( Obediently with great haste, not questioning the command ) and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship
Was returning, and sitting in his chariot reading Esaias the prophet.
(The Holy Spirit chose this particular piece of Scripture for a good reason to be revealed when the time was right as of now.)
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot ( The Lord comes for his saints in a chariot)
And Philip ran thither to [him], and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
> > It would appear that Philip represents the pre-Tribulation saints who provide a testimony to the left-behind nominal Christians or unorthodox church (outside the Jewish community of Philips day and outside the regular church community of this period)
I have wondered why Philip was caught away too, other than to demonstrate to that generation that it could happen.
What I have noticed is that Azotus (the Greek form for Ashdod) is north of Gaza on the Mediterranean Coast. Philip traveled north when he was caught up if he was close to Gaza. He travelled north again along the coast, ending up at Caesarea. North can indicate up. Job 26:7 says, "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." There is an empty place in the far northern sky.
The word translated "caught away" is "harpazo," the same word found in I Thess. 4:17, where we read about the Rapture. It says, "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (harpazo) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
However, since Philip preached to those along the coast, he could represent others warning them before disaster strikes.
Philip's experience could tie in with Zeph 2:1-5? It says, "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired (Israel); Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger (the Pre-Wrath Rapture will catch up all believers). For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast".
The reason the Mediterranean coast will later become a place for keeping flocks is that the asteroid of Rev. 8:8 will hit the Mediterranean Sea. Can you imagine the tsunami that will hit the coastal desert?
Just now, we seem to have been hit by one sharp earthquake shock. That's appropriate.
> > The other two raptures of Paul and John came later and both could have relevance and representations to the raptures that occur during the Tribulation Period
The Rapture of John in Rev. 4:1 cannot take place in the Tribulation, because Jesus receives the 7-sealed Title Deed of the Earth after that, in Rev. 5. The first seal is not broken until Rev. 6. That's when the Tribulation starts. Agape
