Kay (5 May 2007)
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, Marilyn, but the picture you have on your homepage of the "RED SQUARE NEBULA" looked to me as though I were looking down upon the top of the Giza Pyramid, AND IT'S CAPSTONE WAS IN PLACE AND ILLUMINATED. What do you think? Does anyone else see this too? Also, it was just about this time last year that the Comet made a grand fly-over, with that magnificent Fragment B with Jesus' face! ~~Kay
ANOTHER CROSS IN THE SKY, THE RED SQUARE NEBULA
Yes, I see the pyramid in the Red Square Nebula too. I don't remember the comet fragment with Jesus' face though. Do you know where I can find a picture of it? Agape.
Incoming e-mail, Re: the wise and foolish virgins
Arlene (5 May 2007)
Marilyn, I believe you are right about the virgins being pre-tribulation rapture types. It just makes sense, because the cry is that the bridegroom cometh, and in the oriental weddings, the bridegroom would come and abduct the bride like a thief in the night,,,and the bridesmaids would then go with the bride and groom to the wedding festivities, which lasted for a week----and then at the end of the week there was a large public celebration (the wedding supper), open to a larger crowd. Rebekah's damsels went with her when she left with Abraham's servant (the Holy Spirit)........they didn't stay for any part of the "ten days"
that Rebekah's family wanted her to stay. The cry is that the bridegroom cometh,,,not that he has already come and taken the bride away......the foolish virgins had very little oil, and no oil in the extra vessels. They will be taken by surprise, and then want to rely on the wise virgins and their supply of oil....keep up your very good work,,,,your sister,,,,,Arlene
Thanks for the reminder. There are so many types, it is easy to miss some. The week before the wedding festivities is a type of the Tribulation week of years (Dan. 9:27) before the Marriage of the Lamb and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb take place.
EU seeks talks on Arab plan
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has invited the prime movers behind an Arab Middle East peace plan to join a meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Brussels on May 14.
5 May, 2007 - EU external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner, who also took part in the meeting, said however that rising calls for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to resign over last year’s Lebanon war complicated peace efforts.
“At the moment there are probably few possibilities for a meeting between (Palestinian) President (Mahmoud) Abbas and Prime Minister Olmert,” she told reporters.
“But we hope that the situation in Israel will be resolved as soon as possible because it is extremely important to seize this moment.”
She said Arab foreign ministers she spoke with had echoed the importance of seizing the moment, describing the Arab peace initiative as “extremely important”.
“They say this moment is so important now - we should not waste any time and that is why I hope they we will manage to create some momentum... The Arabs want peace now - they are ready for it.”
She said Abbas would need the support of his Arab neighbours for any compromises in the name of peace.
Members of the international Quartet for Middle East peace, comprised of the EU, the UN, the US and Russia, were to meet the Arab foreign ministers here later yesterday.
The Sanhedrin’s peace initiative
Jewish group devoted to rebuilding Temple in Jerusalem to send letters to all world leaders, including Arab ones, inviting them to take part in project, attend conference on Temple Mount in Israel
Kobi Nahshoni, 5.01.07
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has been gearing up for an Israeli offensive in recent months, is bound to be surprised by the peace feelers he is set to receive from Jerusalem soon
Without Saudi mediation or diplomatic procedures, the president will get a “Letter of Love and Peace”, accompanied by a historic invitation to visit Jerusalem, from The Supreme Judicial Court of the Jewish People, better known as the Sanhedrin...
In recent days, the group members have drafted a letter that will be translated into 70 languages and sent to all government institutions in the world, including “the sons of Esau and Ishmael” who do not hold diplomatic ties with Israel.
Jews responsible for world peace
In the letter, the rabbis of the self-proclaimed Sanhedrin warn that the world is nearing a catastrophe, and write that the only way to bring peace among nations, states, and religions is by building a house for God, where Jews will worship, pray and offer up sacrifice, according to the vision of the prophets.
The rabbis also call on the non-Jews to help the people of Israel fulfill their destiny and build the Temple, in order to prevent bloodshed across the globe....
'Renew animal sacrifices on Mount' says radical rabbi
Member of Sanhedrin says sacrifices 'were not possible when the people of Israel were in the Diaspora, but now they are.' Adds: Jerusalem Temple should be rebuilt, Israeli government standing in our way
Yaakov Lappin Published: 03.01.0
Animal sacrifices should be renewed on the Temple Mount, a member of the radical Sanhedrin organization told Ynetnews.
In ancient Israel and Judea, the Sanhedrin served as the highest court in the land, and was made up of 71 top judges. Now, a group of
fringe rabbis say they have reformed the group, although the organization has received no recognition from Israel's official religious authorities....
"In the Torah there are around 200 commandments dealing with animal sacrifices," said Rabbi Dov Stein, of the Sanhedrin organization....
Stein outlined his plan for Israel, calling for a king to be appointed democratically. "Democracy was not invented today, the king is elected from a list of candidates. A senior judge, as was done during the days of the judges, can also be appointed," he added

Peggy McIlveene (1 May 2007)
No! I expect the Rapture in TWO WEEKS, on Israel's 40th Independence Day, Monday, May 14, 2007, which also happens to be Ascension Day, Iyar 26, 5767.
What a MARVELOUS coincidence THAT would be! Mine & my precious Richard’s 10th wedding anniversary is on May 14, too… AND, we have been planning for two years to buy ourselves new wedding rings for our 10th anniversary (if we can afford them… if you’re right, we won’t NEED to buy them!!!) that say “Yahshua” on them in Hebrew, since, as we both agreed, we are soon going to be His Bride!!!
Love from your sister in Yahshua!

i found this wonderful looking starmap web site at www.sky-map.org and i thought you might like to look at it i don't concern myself with these thing very much, so i don't pretent to say it absolutely is excellent by any means but i know you do, so when i literally stumbled over it i thought of you and knew i had to send you a link. i hope it's half as good as it looks.
i hope you and your husband are doing well. i know myself how it is to be sick i'm paralyzed due to a stroke 8 years ago, but the Lord provides and gives me strength so, no need to whine about it
until the next time i talk to
yours in Christ
Thanks. I hadn't located that one. It sure looks interesting. I bookmarked it so I can go back often.
I'm so sorry to hear you had such a bad stroke. I keep telling Ed that it isn't easy, but we have to do the best we can with what we have. Your attitude sounds great.
We are ok. Ed can barely walk, though.
Hope the Rapture is soon. We will all be cured instantly, and we will all be as at the prime of life. When my mom died, she was 84. I woke up in the morning after sleeping in her den that night hearing her voice. She said, "Marilyn, there's no way I'm 84 years old." I didn't need it, but that's reassuring, nevertheless. Agape

Nope, no physical Rapture. That doctrine began by a 15 year British girl
named Margaret McDonald in or around 1840 AD. She was sick and was
seeing things. In all probability she saw a truth, but the interpretation was
wrong. She probably saw a spiritual catching up with Christ. For He has
come to those who believe.
2 Cor. 13:5, says "Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith;prove
your own selves, how that Jesus Christ dwells in you, except you be reprobates?"
Col. 1:27, ..."God would make known what is the riches of this glorious mystery
among the nations; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Gal. 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
lives in me: and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son
of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
John 14: 20, "In that day you shall know that i am in my Father, and you in
me and I in you."
Verse 23, Jesus said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words,:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode
(residing place) with him."
And He is in the true believer, and we are in Him, and He is in the Father.

> > That doctrine began by a 15 year British girl named Margaret McDonald in or around 1840 AD.
That isn't true. You sound like the Preterists. They claim the same thing. But then they claim that the Bible's prophecies about the end times refer to events that took place in the first century too. That is not even remotely possible.
Not only is the Rapture taught in the Bible, it was plainly understood in early times. In his sermon about the end times, Pseudo-Ephraem (c. 374-627) said, "All the saints and elect of God are gathered together before the tribulation, which is to come, and are taken to the Lord, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins."
In my mind, it all boils down to whether we believe what the Bible says or not. If you don't believe what the Bible plainly says, how can you be sure you are saved? You either take it all as truth, or you don't. If it is truth, the Rapture is inescapable.
If it is not truth, you have no way of being saved. Your eternal destiny depends on what you believe. God has decreed that the just shall walk by faith. We can't separate out certain things that we want to believe and throw the rest away. Following men, our standing is precarious. Following God is safe. He is testing us. He gave us the Bible as a manual so we could have a chance to pass our test in this world. If we fail to read it for ourselves, that's our fault.
Here is the way I feel about it personally. I either take all of the Bible as truth and be saved by my faith in Christ, or I could be in deep trouble and on a slick slide to hell without realizing it. As for me, I choose Christ and read and heed the Bible. I have hope. There are "others which have no hope." You are lucky you are not among those. You do believe in Christ. That is the all important thing.
In I Thess. 4:13-18, I read and believe Paul's message, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren (believers), concerning them which are asleep (i.e., the dead in Christ), that ye sorrow not, even as OTHERS WHICH HAVE NO HOPE. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (Old English for precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP (harpazo, to be taken up by force) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." Are you comforted?
Paul knew firsthand about being caught up to Heaven. He was physically caught up to the heavenly Paradise himself so he could be absolutely sure about what he taught.
Being careful not to boast, in II Cor. 12:1-7, Paul said, "It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ (Paul himself) above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one CAUGHT UP (harpazo) TO THE THIRD HEAVEN. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was CAUGHT UP (harpazo) INTO PARADISE, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure."
What is your decision? Do you believe what Paul says in Scripture? or something you have heard man spout?
The Rapture is our"blessed hope." Titus 2:13 says, "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." Jesus will appear at the Rapture. 1Pe 1:13 says, "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at "THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST".
What is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ"? We should know, for "the time is at hand."
Rev. 1:1-3 says, "THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things (i.e., the Rapture) which are written therein: for the time is at hand." It literally is at hand now. This was specially written for us.
The script for this miracle play was dictated by Jesus and given to John to write down for us upon whom the ends of the ages are come. The scene opens with a Preview of the Rapture, because the whole play is written as if Jesus stood on the pinnacle of the Rapture and looked both backward and forward to tell us what would take place. In 1:19, he told John to "Write the things which thou hast seen (before the Rapture, the 7 churches), and the things which are (at the time of the Rapture, Rev. 4:1), and the things which shall be hereafter" (after the Rapture).
The Rapture and the "hereafter" the Rapture starts in Rev. 4:1. It says, "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." Immediately, John, the other 11 apostles, and the 12 patriarchs, in all 24 elders, are seen in Heaven crowned and seated on 24 thrones. The other saints, out of all nations, that are raptured at the same time are seen in Heaven singing the new song in 5:9.
Therefore, Jesus' monologue to the 7 churches is addressed to us today, when the Rapture is at hand. This is the condition of our churches today, when the Rapture is at hand. Jesus also wove in enough of their past so we could identify them.
As the play starts, the scene is just before the Rapture. John introduces the play, then in 1:8, Jesus tells who he is. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning (LORD of the Old Testament) and the ending (Lord of the New Testament), saith the Lord, which is (at the Rapture), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent), the Almighty." That is the first thing I expect to hear from him when we arrive in Heaven.
Then, in 1:9-11, John tells us how it happened when he was caught up to Heaven. Remember, this is the Preview. He said, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos (meaning mortal, for John was at that moment mortal), for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was (lit., became) in the Spirit on the Lord's day (the Rapture is the Day of Christ), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a TRUMPET (this is the first trump of God, the first of two Raptures), Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last".
In Heaven, John turned to see who spoke. He saw "in the midst of the seven candlesticks (which are the seven churches that have just arrived in Heaven along with John, 1:20) one like unto the Son of man (Jesus), clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle (attired as a king/priest). In his hand were the seven stars ("the angels of the seven churches," 1:20) that he has just caught up, "and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword", 1:16). This sword is to cut off the foolish virgins. They will have to wait for the second Rapture, the "last trump" (I Cor. 15:51,52).
1Thess 4:16,17 tells us about the first Rapture, the Pre-Trib Rapture. It says, "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Luke 12:46 tells us about those that are cut off. It says, "The lord of that servant (the unwise one) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and WILL APPOINT HIM HIS PORTION WITH THE UNBELIEVERS" (the shortened Tribulation). Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."
I Cor.15:51-53 tells us about the second Rapture, the Pre-Wrath Rapture. It says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."
You can't convince me that there is no Rapture, I understand Scripture too well for that. Unbelievers will even see it and fear and trust in the Lord. Psa. 40:1-3 says, "I waited patiently for the LORD (as in Rev. 3:10); and he inclined (bent down) unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit (grave), out of the miry clay (body of clay), and set my feet upon a rock (Heaven), and established my GOINGS (plural, i.e., the two Raptures). And he hath put a NEW SONG (as in Rev. 5:9) in my mouth, even praise unto our God: MANY SHALL SEE IT, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD."
Rev. 3:10,11 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation (trial, i.e., the Tribulation), which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." I'm holding fast.
Luke 21:36 warns, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Yes, I pray that I will be accounted worthy to escape in the Rapture, and like John, stand before Christ in Heaven. In Jesus' name, Amen. Agape
Incoming email, Re: Nope No physical Rapture<
Marilyn, you like myriads will go on to be with the Lord looking for Him to physically take you away from earth to the heaven in the sky. since I was a kid i have heard preachers and theologians say Jesus is coming soon, over and over again, but how soon is soon? When the saints get a revelation from the Lord of His now appearing in them (2 Cor. 13:5, plus scores of verses), they will come out of deception into the light of the Lord. But not until they quit looking at Schofield bible doctrines (footnotes), and walk in the Holy Spirit, delivering people of "Dead works" teachings. Hebrews 6: 1-3.
I could write you two pages of two evangelists who i have had run ins with. One in 1987 who wrote a book saying, "88 reasons why Jesus is coming in 88." He taught it also on radio in Little Rock ARK., nation wide. He didn't pay much attention until the prophesied day came and went, and he revised his book. But myriads of people had already quit their jobs, sold their homes and everything and sent most of it to this prophet. They went into waiting for Jesus to rapture them physically away beyond the blue. Those people were devestated beyond all hope. No jobs, no homes, nothing. I knew one young lady. Hers is a unique story, she was my son in law's sister. She called him in Louisville KY. She said, "I am calling to say good bye." "He asked her, where are you going." She answered, Jesus is coming tomorrow, and i am going to be Raptured to heaven." He tried to talk her out of it, and even asked her to call me, as she lived about 20 miles from here, but she waited till the next day-of the prophesied Rapture. The day came and went, and no sign of Jesus coming. She started going to the Catholic church that her husband was born and raised in. but he didn't have salvation. It was pathetic, as all the others.
Then in 1994 there was another one in Oakland CA. Same thing with him as the first. Still there has been so many of them it is scandalous to say the least. I write a monthly news letter ( CALL OF THE KINGDOM ) and it goes out monthly. It is free and goes nearly around the globe, international, and I warn people about these fleecing of the sheep people who were prophesied of in the bible, and many hear the Lord and turn from those scoundrels who are out to get money, and grow rich. God's true ministries don't pitch for money. Didn't Peter call it "filthy lucre?" enough said. Best in Jesus
Daniel prayed to understand timing, and he got an answer. Was he wrong to try to figure it out?
We should obey the Lord Jesus Christ and not obstruct others that are obeying him. He commanded us to watch.
In Mark 13:23, Jesus said, "BUT TAKE YE HEED: BEHOLD, I HAVE FORETOLD YOU ALL THINGS." That includes the timing of the Rapture.
Then in verses 33-37, he said, "Take ye heed, WATCH and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and COMMANDED THE PORTER TO WATCH. WATCH YE THEREFORE: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. AND WHAT I SAY UNTO YOU I SAY UNTO ALL, WATCH."
Between these, in verses 28-31, Jesus said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel, Joel 1:6,7); When her branch (klados, scion broken off for grafting, i.e., modern Israel) is yet tender (apalos, young, i.e., not over 19), and putteth forth leaves (Sinai, West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights), ye know that summer is near (the Six-Day War started June 5 and summer began June 21): So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it (the kingdom of God, Luke 21:31) is nigh, even at the DOORS (symbol of the two Raptures). Verily (Amen, so be it) I say unto you, that THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS, TILL ALL THESE THINGS BE DONE. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."
The first open door is set before the Philadelphian church group in Rev. 3:8. Jesus said, "behold, I have set before thee an OPEN DOOR, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
> > how soon is soon?
Let's discuss that. There is something special about that parable of the fig tree since it is between these other strong statements Jesus made. Israel was 19 when the Six-Day War started on Iyar 26, 5727, ASCENSION DAY. Maybe that is our clue. Israel was tried 40 years in the desert, then went into the promised land. Forty years from Iyar 26, 5727 is Iyar 26, 5767 (May 13,14, 2007). Iyar 26 is Ascension Day (May 13 is Mother's Day). What if the Rapture would take place after we were tried for 40 years, then we would go into our promised land, Heaven, on Ascension Day? Jesus is the head of the Body of Christ, and he ascended on the 40th day after his resurrection. We might follow in the 40th year. What do you think of this possibility?
> > people had already quit their jobs, sold their homes
Jesus didn't tell us to do that. We are to occupy until he comes. Luke 19:13 says, "And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, OCCUPY TILL I COME."
What do you think Jesus meant in Luke 21:29-36? Here's the way I take it.
He said, "Behold the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (other nations); When they now shoot forth (in the Six-Day War that started June 5, 1967), ye see and know of your own selves that summer (June 21) is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For AS A SNARE SHALL IT COME ON ALL THEM THAT DWELL ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
How do you plan to "escape all these things that shall come to pass"? Agape
