Mt 24:36 says, "But of that day and hour KNOWETH no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." The Greek word translated "knoweth" is in Strong's Concordance "eidoŻ...A primary verb; used only in certain PAST TENSES." (emphasis mine) Therefore, no man knew up to that time. It has nothing to do with what we can or can't know today.

Chief rabbis, EU president discuss 'interfaith UN'

May. 30, 2007 - European Parliament President Hans-Gert Pottering said Wednesday in a meeting with Israel's chief rabbis that he would support the establishment of an "interfaith United Nations" that would bring together religious leaders from all over the world to promote peace.

Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yona Metzger first proposed the idea at an interfaith meeting several months ago. But Metzger said that Wednesday's meeting with Pottering marked the first time a political figure had shown interest in concrete steps towards achieving that idea.

More light on Isa. 18

By Marilyn Agee

The article "It's Time to Nip It in the Bud," by Pam Stone, page 5 in the March/April issue of Perry Stone's "Voice of Evangelism" says that in a vineyard, some branches are marked with red tags. These healthy branches have leaves, but no fruit. They will be cut off at pruning time. It says, "If these branches were not cut off, they would be detrimental to his entire vineyard. The branches that did not produce fruit would sap the strength from the good branches, eventually killing the entire vine." I immediately thought, "That explains Isaiah 18."

Isa 18:3-7 says, "ALL YE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD, AND DWELLERS ON THE EARTH, SEE YE, when he lifteth up an ensign (i.e., the UN flag) on the mountains (kingdoms, nations); and when he bloweth a TRUMPET (i.e., at the Rapture), HEAR YE. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider (see, look at) in my dwelling place (Heaven) like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For afore the harvest (i.e., before the vintage of Elul and Tishri), when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower (probably at Pentecost), he shall both CUT OFF THE SPRIGS WITH PRUNING HOOKS, AND TAKE AWAY (i.e., rapture the fruiting branches to Heaven in the spring) AND CUT DOWN THE BRANCHES (i.e., those without fruit). They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall SUMMER UPON THEM, and all the beasts of the earth shall WINTER UPON THEM. In that time (i.e., at the second Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets) shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion."

When John was caught up to Heaven at the Rapture in the preview of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, he saw that Jesus had a sword. In Rev 1:16, he said, "he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went A SHARP TWOEDGED SWORD: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength." Now, we can understand why he had a sword at that time - to cut off the branches with leaves, but no fruit.

Luke 12:46 says, "The lord of that servant (the foolish one) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will CUT HIM IN SUNDER (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (i.e., the Tribulation) with the unbelievers."

Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall CUT HIM ASUNDER, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders): there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Mt. 24's days of Noah apply to the first Day of the Son of Man

By Marilyn Agee

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private (idios, separate) interpretation" (II Peter 1:20). Scripture must be compared with Scripture.

There are two "DAYS (plural) OF THE SON OF MAN", i.e., there are two Raptures. The Pre-Trib Rapture is as the days of Noah. Rain fell, and he was lifted up in the Ark. The Pre-Wrath Rapture is as the days of Lot. Fire and brimstone fell. There is a big difference. Also, marriage is only mentioned in the days of Noah, because those to be raptured before the Tribulation are the Bride of Christ. There is no marriage listed here for the days of Lot. His wife did not make it.

Luke 17:26-37 says, "And as it was in the DAYS OF NOAH, so shall it be also in the DAYS (plural) OF THE SON OF MAN (i.e., there are TWO DAYS OF CHRIST, TWO RAPTURES). They did eat, they drank, they MARRIED wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the DAYS OF LOT; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom IT RAINED FIRE AND BRIMSTONE from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (The Sign of the Son of Man will be seen the day of the 2nd Rapture) In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is (the Body of Christ is in Heaven at this time), thither will the eagles (high flyers) be gathered together." This ties in with Ex. 19:4. It says, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on EAGLES' WINGS', and brought you unto myself."

Mt. 24:3 says, "the disciples came unto him (Jesus) privately, saying, TELL US, WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE? AND WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGN OF THY COMING (parousias, comings), and of the end of the world (lit., completion of the age)" The consummation of this age is the time of the 2nd Rapture, the 2nd Day of the Son of Man. It is on the Day of God's Wrath, but before his wrath falls on Earth. The Second Coming is 7 months later. The Jews will bury the dead during these 7 months to cleanse the land for the return of Christ in glory (Eze. 39:12,13).

Jesus gave them the Fig Tree Parable in answer to the question about the sign of his comings. He will come in the air at the Pre-Trib Rapture. The Bride of Christ will rise up and meet him in the clouds.

The Sign of the Son of Man sitting on his throne will be seen in the sky at the Second Rapture as the angels gather the Tribulation saints on the first day of his Millennial Kingdom. Jesus will set his feet on the Mt. of Olives at the Second Advent 7 months later.

Mt. 24:32-34 says, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel, Joel 1:6,7); When his branch (klados, scion broken off for grafting) is yet tender (apalos, young, i.e., no more than 19, which Israel was in 1967), and putteth forth leaves (Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, Sinai and West Bank), ye know that summer is nigh (the Six-Day War began June 5; summer began June 21): "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (the Pre-Trib Rapture) is near, even at the doors (symbol of the Raptures, Rev. 3:8). Verily (amen, so be it, i.e., this is important) I say unto you, THIS GENERATION (born in 1967) SHALL NOT PASS, TILL ALL THESE THINGS BE FULFILLED. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth (eidoŻ, Strong's: 'A primary verb; used only in certain PAST TENSES) no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But AS THE DAYS OF NOE WERE, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE."

Luke 21:29-36 says, "And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (other nations); When they now shoot forth (i.e., in the Six-Day War), ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, KNOW YE THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NIGH AT HAND. Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS AWAY, TILL ALL BE FULFILLED. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and SO THAT DAY COME UPON YOU UNAWARES. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. WATCH YE THEREFORE, AND PRAY ALWAYS, THAT YE MAY BE ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT SHALL COME TO PASS, AND TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN."

I take it that one generation from the Six-Day War will be the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture, which is as the days of Noah. We have two lengths for a generation, 40 (as when Israel was in the desert before going into her promised land) and 48.33, from Mt. 1:17.

Iyar 26, 5727 + 40 = Iyar 26, 5767 (May 14, 2007), Ascension Day. We are in the ballpark already. We should stay ready.

In Mt. 24:4-14, Jesus sketched things that would characterize the time from 30 AD to the end of the age. Verse 14 says, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

In Mt. 24:15-31, Jesus described the Great Tribulation, the last half of the 7-year Tribulation, the section that is to be shortened or no flesh would be saved. It starts with the abomination of desolation being seen in the Temple, and ends with the Bride of Christ being gathered from one end of heaven to the other. They are being gathered to the general assembly in Heaven on Coronation Day, the first day of Jesus' millennial kingdom.

Heb 12:22-25 says, "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the GENERAL (lit., festal, i.e., it is the Feast of Trumpets, time of the 2nd Rapture) ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we ESCAPE, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven."

At the same time that the Bride is gathered in Heaven, the Tribulation saints are gathered from Earth. Mark 13:24-27 says, "in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."

Incoming e-mail, Re: "Shavuout dream"

I have posted only a couple of times, even though I avidly read your letters since 2003. I have something to share re: the Pentecost Rapture. I was reticent about sharing, for the past 4 years we have been so intently looking for each Rosh Hashanna and had been disappointed, but this time I feel I am being led to believe in the Pentecostal rapture.

I and my family came out of a Hindu background 15 years ago this month (8th May 1992). We were as a family baptized the very next month; on the 7th June 1992, which happened not only to be a Christian Pentecost, but also the Shavuot fell on the same day!!! Couple of months before we gave our hearts to the Lord, I had a vision of my whole family kneeling to Jesus and that came to pass unexpectedly two months later. I had been reading the Bible for at least 6 yrs, but never thought that I would possibly able to break from my background, but the Lord worked in a mighty way.

In fact on the day before the baptism, i.e. 6th June 1992, the Lord again gave me a vision, showing the 3 of us holding hands outside our home and waiting to be raptured, and the Lord was stretched out in the sky, his feet from the North and his head was on the South. He hair was all white and his clothes were shining white and a gold sash around his waist.

That first year the Lord gave me altogether 3 visions and 1 experience. Since then I have only had just vivid dreams and no visions. In Oct 92, in a prayer meeting I had the experience of the rapture. I truly experienced the whole thing, being actually taken up, even though all the while I was seated beside my mum. But when I opened my eyes, my mum was awfully concerned about me for I was out of breath and panting, as if I had run a marathon. This experience of being caught up, going up to heaven in white garments (loose ones, which one uses for baptism, only it was like silk, nice and shining), and there were so many of the people in white garments going up with us, and it was so exhilarating, the rush of cold air, and very fact we have made it!! We passed the Lord half way, His hands outstretched and He was blessing the whole lot of us passing Him. I went up and reached a place that had ground which resembled a soft quilted mattress, and the colour was like pale, translucent gold. Next moment I found myself in the prayer meeting. This experience has sustained me and my family these past 15 yrs.

Anyway coming to the present, I have an operation coming up on 28th May. I was supposed to have it before Easter, but very unusual and unexpected thing came up and I was put off until 28/5. As you can imagine, myself and my family want the rapture more than ever, and I have been going round in circles trying to work out whether it would be on the Shavuot of 23/24 or Pentecost 27th May.

Nowadays, we hardly see a decent rainbow with all the chemtrails sprayed around in Down Under. Throughout these 15 yrs rainbow has held a special significance for us.

Yet on the 1st of April the Lord gave us our first rainbow for the year. Last year my mum was supposed to go for a small operation and the Lord gave her rainbows and her operation has been so far deferred. So I took this as a sign for me. Then on the 26th of April, I dreamt of a rainbow outside our home, but unusually it was on a clear blue sky and we could almost touch it and the colours were very vibrant. Then on the 7th and 8th of May, we saw rainbows each morning at the very same time. Then on the 9th May, I was not feeling too well and had a little cat’s nap at 12 noon, which is very unusual for me to do, and I did not get up till 1:30pm and when I woke up the words in my mouth was “Tel Abib”. The dream was very vivid; I was in Israel ( I have never been to Israel) in a Hebrew University and I was asking my way to “Tel Abib”. Every time I asked for direction I was telling each group about the Ezekiel 38/39, about the Jacob’s Trouble (Jeremiah 30:4, I got all my Bible references quite accurate in my dream) and then informed them that before all this the catching away of the church was going to happen soon, SOON! I must have repeated this over and over again to about 4-5 groups and got up with the word Tel Abib. My mum only pointed out and said that it looks as if we should take Abib 14 (Passover) and count the Pentecost and not the Christian one. It made sense to me. For I was quite confused about the 27th May and the 22/23 May.

Then again yesterday I got my around 6:30 in the morning about another Jewish gathering. My son and I were in a meeting- the company exclusively all Jewish and my son’s boss was a Jew. ( Actually my son has a sticker in his car “My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter”). And there were a group of youngsters and I asked them if they spoke Yiddish. I don’t know why I asked Yiddish instead of Hebrew. But I had this unusual dream. This is the second dream to do with the Jewish people, and I do not move with any Jews nor have I ever been to Israel. I have travelled around but not there. All that I can say is the Lord is pointing us to look to their calendar. For me this rapture is all the more important for I truly want to miss my operation. I am not saying that the Rapture would take place this time, but I am preparing for it with all my heart. I see that a few people have come forward pointing to the Shavuout. Even so come Lord Jesus.

My reply

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. I am thrilled that you and your family are part of the Body of Christ.

Our son had a dream that the three of us went up from our front yard. He didn't mention white robes, and I have been wondering about when we would get them. Keep watching. This next year or two should be interesting. I keep wondering about when they will start to build the Temple in Jerusalem. That might mean the spiritual temple of the Holy Spirit would be raptured. There is a chance though that "Rise" in Rev. 11:1,2 stands for the Rapture. If it does, the Pre-Trib Rapture might take place on Pentecost in 2009. That is when I expect the Tribulation to begin on May 29, which is both Pentecost and our daughter's birthday.

Hope your surgery went well. Agape

Incoming e-mail, Re: Just a thought, just a query

Hope this message finds you well. It has been a while since I last wrote to you.

I keep getting these pangs/hunches about 2030.

Call it an intuition or whatever, but the scripture that keeps coming to mind is the one that references the Lord raising us up after two days, i.e., each day being a thousand years.

Hos 6:2 After two days will He revive us, on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.

It makes sense that the Lord would return after a two thousand year period from when he finished his ministry here. This means 2030ish.

Another thing that may back this up is it is confirmed that we have a near Earth asteroid heading our way in 2036. You may be able to see if this would tie in with a shortened tribulation and Hebrew regal year?? I am also sure I have heard references to a generation being 70 years? From 1948 plus 70 = 2028. I have done my own reading extensively and understand the references to 40 years, but something keeps giving me these pangs of 2030-2036.

Even though the signs are as thick as ever I think we are still in the beginning of sorrows – I think the pangs have to increase significantly so that we have something to escape. In the natural order of things, i.e., politics, signs in the earth, stars, social deterioration, we may still be twenty years out. Any thoughts? I hope you are right about this year though. Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Keep up the fantastic work Marilyn – God bless you in Jesus name. Regards

My reply

Thanks for your kind words.

I'm ok. Ed needs our prayers. He is getting weaker every day. He is so weak, he often needs help to sit up in bed or to get his legs up on the bed. He fell backward in the bathroom, hit his head on the tub and skinned both arms. We need a ramp to load his power chair into the van. Dave had found 4 at the swap meet, but they won't work, because the power chair has two back wheels that are close together. The ramp will soon be a have-to case. It takes Ed forever to use his walker. Stroke during heart surgery, Diabetes and Parkinson's Disease to boot is no fun. His feet just don't want to move. Each tiny sliding step takes concentration, and the ramp outside the front door scares him. He wants help there so he won't fall.

I don't think the 2000 years dates from AD 30. Hosea wrote when the kingdom was split between Israel and Judah. Hosea 1:1 says, "The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of JUDAH, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of ISRAEL.

The difference between Israel and Judah is clear in Hosea 4:15. It says, "Though thou, ISRAEL, play the harlot, yet let not JUDAH offend".

Hosea 5 is written to Israel. The first verse says, "Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of ISRAEL; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment".

In the last verse of chapter 5, I can hear the LORD of hosts, i.e., Jesus the Redeemer (Isa. 44:6), saying, "I will go (i.e., in the future) and return to my place (Heaven, in 30 AD), till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face (at the Second Advent): in their affliction (on the Day of God's Wrath) they will seek me early." They will have to wait 7 months (Eze. 39:12,13).

Then, in Hosea 6:1-4, Israel is speaking. "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days (i.e., after 2000 years) will he revive us: in the third day (i.e., in the 3rd millennium) he will raise us up (he did, in 1948 Israel declared their Independence), and we shall live in his sight. Then (i.e., after 1948) shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD (i.e., Jesus, the LORD of hosts, the Redeemer): his going forth is prepared as the morning (i.e., he will return as 'the Sun of righteousness'; Mal. 4:2); and HE SHALL COME UNTO US AS THE RAIN, AS THE LATTER AND FORMER RAIN unto the earth. O EPHRAIM, what shall I do unto thee? O JUDAH, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away."

According to Unger's Bible Dictionary, the former rain starts Tishri 1, the 1st day of the Civil Year, and the latter rain starts Nisan 1, the first day of the Regnal and Sacred Year. I think Jesus was born Tishri 1, and his Second Advent will be on Nisan 1.

> > I have heard references to a generation being 70 years? From 1948 plus 70 = 2028.

The 70 years is a lifespan, not a generation. Webster's says a generation is 33 years, but according to the Bible, it can be 40 years (as when Israel was in the desert 40 years before going into the Promised Land) or 48.33 years (according to Mt. 1:17).

Jesus mentioned a generation in Mt. 24:32-34. He said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel); When his branch (klados, scion broken off for grafting, i.e., modern Israel) is yet tender (apalos, young, i.e., no more than 19, which she was in 1967), and putteth forth leaves (Gaza Strip, Golen Heights, Sinai, West Bank in the Six-Day War of 1967), ye know that summer is nigh (the war started June 5; summer started June 21): So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it ('the kingdom of God', Luke 21:31) is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

Luke 21:29-36 says, "And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (other nations); When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE (i.e., in the Rapture) all these things that shall come to pass (in the Tribulation), and to stand before the Son of man."

1967 + 40 = 2007v 1967 + 48.33 = 2015 plus 4 months

Because of this, I thought maybe the Pre-Trib Rapture would be on Pentecost in 2007 and the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets in 2015, but we are now past Pentecost.

If the Pre-Wrath Rapture is on Trumpets in 2015, that would be the Day of God's Wrath. According to Dan. 8:12-14, the shortened Tribulation lasts 2300 days. Therefore, it would start on Pentecost in 2009.

It looks like we have two more chances to be caught up on Pentecost, on June 6, 2008 and May 29, 2009. The first sounds most likely to me.

Rev. 11:1,2 takes place at the beginning of the Tribulation, when Moses and Elijah come back. It says, "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."

It took one year for the priests to build the Temple itself in Herod's day. He had prepared the stones before they began. I understand that Israel has the stones ready now, and the priests are practicing building the Temple. The red heifer is to be sacrificed during her 4th year. She is 3.5 now. They will use her ashes to purify the priests that are going to build the Temple.

If construction begins on the Temple, surely it will wake lots of foolish virgins up. What a sign that would be. We should stay ready to go at any time, and continue to watch.

If they begin to build the literal Temple on Iyar 2 (May 7, 2008) as in Solomon's day, the temple of the Holy Spirit might be raptured on Sivan 6, Pentecost, June 6, 2008. Agape

My thoughts

Song of Solomon 2:10-15 fits with Isa. 18 Song of Sol. 2:10-15 (LXX) says, "My kinsman (redeemer, i.e., Christ)answers, and says to me, RISE UP, COME (i.e., 'COME UP HITHER,' Rev. 4:1), my companion (the Bride of Christ), my fair one, my dove. For, behold, the winter is past, the rain is gone, it has departed (i.e., Nisan, time of the latter rain is gone). The flowers are seen in the land; THE TIME OF PRUNING HAS ARRIVED (i.e., THE CUTTING OFF OF THE FOOLISH LAODICEAN VIRGINS); the voice of the turtle-dove (Christ) has been heard in our land. The fig-tree (Israel) has put forth its young figs (fruit, i.e., the Messianic Jews), the vines put forth the tender grape (one bunch of the Bride group, i.e., the 1st of 2 Raptures), they yield a smell: ARISE, COME, my companion, my fair one, my dove; yea, COME. Thou art my dove, in the shelter of the rock (in Christ), near the wall: shew me thy face, and cause me to hear thy voice; for thy voice is sweet, and thy countenance is beautiful. Take us the little foxes that spoil the vines: for our vines put forth tender grapes."
