Incoming Email Someone FAXed me interesting information that Israel, the wheat harvent is completed in Tamuz (June/July). Now that perked my ears right up. We are the wheat.
I also found Mt. 24:33 (Berkeley Version) when in the car waiting for Ed at the store. It says, "He is so near, He is at the door." That was in 1967. How long will that door stay open? Not through the Tribulation; that I feel sure of. Do you have the feeling that we won't have to wait much longer?
My reply ...The chart you sent me says that the Wheat harvest begins in Sivan and is completed in Tamuz (Jun/Jul)....
On the Talmudic Jewish Calendar, Tamuz runs from June 25 through July 23 (the Sundays are: June 28, July 5, 12, and 19)....
Unger's Bible Dictionary says that the wheat harvest was in April, May or June. Your information extends the time of harvest through July 23.
The wheat still stands unharvested here.
Incoming Email Love in Jesus
Hi Marilyn, All the love of Jesus, from your brother in Christ, from Cape Town. I wrote you before and have felt a call to share with you again. I know you post many of the emails you receive to your pages and so I wish to write 3 sections into this mail message.
Firstly to you, Marilyn:
Thanks for all the hard work, research and Bible study that you have shared on the internet, continue always in His strength. It's the 22nd of June 1:00 a.m. in South Africa which almost parallels Israel's time and I assume that the dates you have expected the rapture to occur have come and gone and you will most probably be getting both mail of encouragement and hatred. There is no doubt in my mind that your walk with our Lord Jesus is the strength that has and will see you through the tons of emails. I won't insult you by trying to guess how you feel or assume that I know what is best to say to you. I only encourage you that as part of the body of Christ, in my humblest way I will ( and I'm sure many others ) stand with you in prayer and in the absolute knowledge that our Lord will return for His own. As I said before I'm more inclined to the post-trib/pre-wrath way of interpreting the Word. This hasn't stopped the excitement I've felt in the possible dates which you have researched, in depth and have been kind enough to share. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the amount of work that you have done and the way in which you have opened yourself in sharing that which must be countless hours of Bible study and research. I have to say your work has given me loads of shortcuts to my own understanding of God's word.
MESSAGE TO CHRISTIANS:
The POSSIBLE dates that Marilyn shared may have come and gone and I'm sure that some who call themselves Christians will want to have negative things to say about this, as we've seen in the previous Pro&Con postings. To any and all who would call themselves Christian consider carefully what it means to have Jesus within. All Christians everywhere, consider carefully before you speak out whether it is you speaking or Jesus within you speaking. (The chorus "Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in you" springs to mind) Rom:8:1 says: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (KJV) Marilyn is a member in the body of Christ and from any who call themselves Christian, there can be no condemnation against Marilyn. I have found that most of the visitors to Marilyn's page have been Christians of a mature nature, who have acted accordingly in Christ. The one thing we all have in common is an evident child-like hope of Christ's return. There has been great excitement (around these possible dates) that has bonded many of us together, by the work that Marilyn has painstakingly done, by posting many of the loads of emails that she has received. How many of us have gleaned valuable information off of Marilyn's pages to supplement and increase our own understanding of the end times ? I'm sure it's much easier to "surf" around the net to find information on the end times than to have your nose stuck into solid Bible study and then stand up an claim to be an expert on the subjects, that others have worked hard to discover and share. The pages which Marilyn has so freely shared has lost nothing because of a missed date or 2, yet has done wonders to stir up the complacent like myself. Brother, sister, THINK; THINK; THINK before you stand up to throw comments and judgments. We are all of one body in Christ. Some have commented that Marilyn's pages have caused division, yet it is immature and arrogant to think that this one issue surrounding the topic of the rapture is something that could divide the body of Christ. Do you not believe that Jesus lived, died and was raised again unto life for you and I? Has Jesus not given all to save each one of us from sin ? Is he not interceding right now unto the Father for each of us? Do we not all believe that we are one body in Christ? If our belief was only in a set date for Christ's return, then we would loose all faith and become divided, but He has done more than just give us clues as to when He will return. He has saved us from sin, forgiven us and cleansed us from all unrighteousness. There is not only scriptures concerning the rapture, but a whole Bible that makes up the Word of God, so how can any of us ALLOW division over just one portion. Marilyn has been bold enough in Christ to share a POSSIBLE date and this in no way has diminished the truth that Jesus is returning and WILL rapture His people. (Pre-trib or post-trib or pre-wrath or a POSSIBLE date - does it matter - the truth is Jesus WILL be coming again to receive His people)
1Cor:12:3: "Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." (KJV)
Marilyn and all the Christian's who's messages she has kindly posted to her pages can say that Jesus is Lord. In this we are one and we say it by the Holy Spirit, that yes Jesus is Lord !
Remember this: It's easy for anyone of us to take a scripture and use it against a brother or sister as some have been in the habit of doing, but lets consider this if we do this then we should also be reading the all rest of the scriptures to see if there may another which may be applied against us instead. So once again brothers and sisters in Christ, search your heart and find what Jesus is saying. If we can get past our own pride, arrogance and self-righteousness we will be the bride that Christ longs for.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (KJV)
MESSAGE TO NON-BELIEVERS:
Romans 3 verse 10 says the following: "There is no-one righteous, not even one."
Romans 3 verse 23 is even more graphic: "There is no difference, for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 5 verse 12 explains the consequences of not listening to God in the first place: "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned."
Romans 6 verse 23 clearly shows us the price we pay for the way we are: "For the wages of sin is DEATH"
Romans 6 verse 23 again in it's completed sentence says: "For the wages of sin IS death, BUT the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord"
Romans 5 verse 8 shows us Gods love again: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." John 3 verse 16 says it all: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Romans 8 verses 38 and 39 give us a rather powerful hint about the way God loves: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 10 verses 9 and 10: "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Romans 10 verse 13 says this: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"
Romans 10 verse 17 tells us how we get faith: "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."
Romans 12 verse 2 gives us the advice how to start our journey of eternal life: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 8 verse 15 to 17 says this about you and I: "For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ" (ALL verses NIV) - Note - Abba Father virtually means my Daddy - We now call God out Daddy and that's the relationship and joy everyone can share with God as they open their hearts to Jesus.
Marilyn thank you for all you do and are in Christ.
May the Lord richly bless you and yours always.
My reply Thanks. None of us are perfect. We are not God. We do the best we can. I was hoping for the Rapture at this time, but it has not happened. That has not dashed my hopes. The Rapture is our "blessed hope," and hope springs eternal.
Personally, I aim to stay ready, filled with the Holy Spirit and wait patiently until the Rapture takes place, whenever it is. I am in there for the long haul if it is necessary and feel no animosity toward anyone. Instead, I love the brethren. I want them all to win this race we are in for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
We all need to "take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" (Eph. 6:13-18).
I pray for all who send me email, good or bad. I do not want any sin to accrue to anyone's account because of me. I appreciate the good and forgive the bad.
Father, bless those that send encouraging emails. Please forgive those that send negative emails. I pray that you forgive all of their animosity, even Bill's, who just flooded my Inbox with 421 hate emails. Father, I hold no grudge against anyone. I pray that we all show our strong faith in these days of testing. I pray that you will wrap your protection around us all and protect us from Satan's sifting. I remember that Jesus told Peter he had prayed for him. We all have similar needs in these critical days. May all the wheat that got mashed down straighten up, and may we all come through in the end with flying colors. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
Incoming Email Spring is past now and I'm still here. I haven't seen anything on TV this morning that would indicate the rapture has happened. The following is an e-mail I sent you this past Monday. I know you are up to your neck in e-mails but I wanted to re-send this in case you have lost it. Don't worry about replying. It is just my opinion.
Don't faint on us here, Marilyn. Your strength is needed more NOW than ever before. The attacks on you will geometrictly progress from this Sunday morning on till the rapture happens. Many will fall back into the woodwork from whence they came, but a few of us will stand with you to the end, studing and searching the Word as we have been instructed. God bless you, Marilyn. Your abounding love is unmistakable.
Note: I won't faint. I have a smile on my face. You know my first reaction? I thought, "Oh no, you mean I have to get this split tooth pulled and weed the yard." I had sure hoped to get out of those. I'll be better off without the tooth, but have been there twice and they would not pull it. Third time better be a charm. But, the weeds? I am afraid that I will throw my back out. Since getting rear-ended last September, I have had it go out just vacuuming. Haven't weeded very much. It's a bit scary.
Incoming Email Re: A NOTE TO MRS. AGEE
To: Pilgrimpub@aol.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
Why don't you get off her back? She has plainly said that she is not a prophet and is just calling it as she sees it, and could be wrong. I could give you a long list of Scriptures that support the idea that God has revealed all things in His Word, and the exortation of Jesus that you cite was for His hearers only and not for those alive near the time of His return, similar to when He said, "Tell no one that I am the Christ" -- but you would not believe those Scriptures.
Are you saying that now that Jesus has ascended and is totally one with the Father, that He still does not know when He is coming? Nonsense. What kind of view of the Trinity is that? That is easily refuted by Scripture.
I suggest you pray for our dear sister Marilyn and be kind instead of critical and arrogant. This is what the Lord would have us do.
Incoming Email Dear Sister Agee,
* The Cry of Mt 25 did not occur previous to any of your rapture-dates. Something supernatural will probably be the event "at midnight" when the call is made (world wide) - "Behold the Bridegroom cometh!!." - This has not happened yet.
* Please re-read Mt 25 and keep each verse in its exact place. The Cry was made while ALL the virgins slept and they arose together to the soon return of the Bridegroom. vs 6 - This has not happened yet.
* The wise and foolish trim their lamps and the foolish virgins beg for more oil from the wise. vs's 7-8 - This has not happened yet. * The wise reply, NO go and but for yourselves. vs 9 - This has not happened yet.
* The wise command the foolish to go and buy the oil from those that sell. vs 9- This has not happened yet.
* WHILE THEY WENT TO BUY, THE BRIDEGROOM CAME. vs 10. This has not happened yet, but when the foolish realize that only the Holy Spirit can give the oil that they need, they will be hot to get it, but there will not be enough time to get ready properly and they will be left behind.
* ....THE BRIDEGROOM CAME, (vs 10) and those that were ready went in with Him to the wedding. - This has not happened yet.
* ...the door was shut. vs 10 - This has not happened yet.
* Later the foolish virgins came and begged to get inside the door, but they were not allowed. vs 12 - This has not happened yet.
I still believe that - for the most part - the Christian world remains asleep, simply because the event to trigger The Cry has not taken place. We are definitely "on our way to meet the Bridegroom" Mt25:1, and the wise and foolish are going along together on this trip. There was a definite time period when they were all aroused to "Go ye out ot meet Him". There will be no question about it, THIS IS IT!! The wise trim, the foolish beg, the foolish go, and while they are going to buy, the Bridegroom comes and takes the wise to the wedding and the door (rapture) is shut, or over, until rapture #2, just before the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth. If some event had happened this past week, I think I would have been more convinced about your dates. I guess I am looking more for the event that precedes the Cry, before I get too excited about the date, even though your research has been thourough and thought provoking.
Mt 25:13 admonishes us to "Watch, for you do not know the day or hour in which the Son of Man is coming.", but He certainly has given the sequence of events that will precede the rapture, since this is the wedding, not the wedding feast. Love in Jesus.
My reply I need time to really go over that parable. I want to read it in every version I have too. There is obviously more there than I realized before. Wish the day had more hours.
Incoming Email "When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."
"Then if anyone says to you 'Look, here is the Messiah' or 'There he is' - do not believe it"
Why don't you just leave everyone alone, stop scaring people and keep your stupid wrong predictions to yourself.
My reply I am not a prophet. I don't see how watching and trying to find clues in Scripture is scaring people. Why do you visit if you are not interested?
"Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching" (Lu. 12:37).
"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him" (Heb. 10:35-38). In His love
Incoming Email I'm sure I am not alone in being very disapointed that He hasn't come for us yet. Know this: He will come and when He does many more will be ready because of your help. I see from your P+C's that some people are not very forgiving. Try not to let them get to you, the Lord is our strength.
Don't bother to reply, I see you are very busy. God bless you and don't be discouraged. Love
Note: They may not be forgiving, but I am. I know my scriptures better than that. I am not discouraged. I do wish I had some time for real Bible study right now though.
Incoming Email Don't Give Up Hope
Well, Pentecost has come and gone for this year. I truly believe the Rapture was scheduled for this time, but that it was DELAYED. That being so, does it mean that the Lord could reschedule it for any time he wants? Or do we look to next Pentecost.
I believe the Bible Codes that Peter Hader revealed for ...6/7/98, were correct, but that we just do not understand them at this time. Later, in retrospect, we will see why they were there and why it didn't happen.
My message to everyone is, DONT BE DISCOURAGED, it will come. This delay may be a test to see how many will remain ready, and keep looking, and not fall back into disbelief.
My advice to you, Marilyn, is to take some time off and get some rest. We will miss you while you are gone, but you realy deserve a break.
I love you, my Sister In Christ, and am praying for your health.
PS. To all of us who love Marilyn, why don't we all pitch in and donate a few bucks for her to buy a new computer. It sounds like she needs one.
My reply I agree with the delay. I think Satan is being allowed to sift us in a sieve like wheat. It is an important time to just hang in there and stay ready and watching.
> does it mean that the Lord could reschedule it for any time he wants?
Of course he could. However I don't think we will. I think he made out the schedule of events before the world was created.
> Or do we look to next Pentecost.
At this point, I don't know. I need time to study. People have suggested a fall Rapture, but if Song of Solomon 2:10f applies, I just can't see it fitting the fall of the year. I suppose it could be stretched into the summer a bit (green figs, ripe grapes), but not the fall. Verse 11 says, "winter is past." How far can you stretch that? If it were fall, wouldn't it have said that summer is past?
> My message to everyone is, DONT BE DISCOURAGED, it will come. This delay may
> be a test to see how many will remain ready, and keep looking, and not fall

I could have said that myself. This may be the most important time since we first believed. Better to be safe than sorry.
> My advice to you, Marilyn, is to take some time off and get some rest. We will
> miss you while you are gone, but you realy deserve a break.
> I love you, my Sister In Christ, and am praying for your health.
Thanks. I am very tired, but excited too, and feeling happy (actually having trouble keeping a smile off my face). These are challenging days to live in. Someone said it is kind of like waiting for a baby to be born. It is the same way, living in expectation that the most wonderful thing that could happen to us in our lifetime could take place soon.
Several are praying for my pain to let up. I certainly appreciate it. Pain in my arm and hand just about stopped me. One wonderful gal sent me a track ball. Using it at first was like learning to skate. My thumb has hit the space bar all these years, but that did not give it control over that marble. When I first tried, my thumb caught and cracked. It was very reluctant, but every day it gets better, and I turned the sensitivity and speed of tracking to the minimum. It is helping a lot now that I am getting the hang of using it. I love the way the arrow jumps to the active check box all by itself. There is a third button on it that I would not know how to program. I kept hitting it by mistake and it would take everything off my desktop. After reopening my work a few times, I got smarter. I folded some index cards over it and taped them down, taped the whole thing down too. Now, I have a place to rest my hand when not doing something with it, and it can't slide around. My arm and hand are much better now. The weakness in my thumb that hit me just hours before I installed the software to run the track ball kept me from starting the car with out help from my other hand a couple of times, but I had no trouble today.
> PS. To all of us who love Marilyn, why don't we all pitch in and donate a few

Thanks for such a nice thought, but as long as this IIsi holds up, I am fine. I am comfortable with this one. When Ed got me a computer in the first place, he got a Mac so I would not have to spend a lot of time learning how to use it. I've been grateful for that. This does what I need it to do.
I am not discouraged, and hope springs eternal. The Rapture is our "blessed hope." I'll wait as long as it takes.
Incoming Email It is wonderful to read about your faith in the Lord Jesus. Although I wish the rapture would come as soon as possible, I still wish that the Lord will delay it because my parents and some of my dear relatives are not believers yet. I also have many Muslim friends to whom I have difficulty reaching for Christ. Here in Singapore, it is very difficult or almost impossible to convert any Muslim to Christianity. Please pray for me that I can do something besides prayer. Thanks for the website. It is very interesting and it reminds me to have a closer relation with God. Warmest regards,
My reply You got your delay.
I pray that the Lord will use you to reach your family and convince them that without Christ, we are all lost, that God is offering them a free gift of salvation, but that they must accept Christ to receive God's gift. I pray that if there is anything that can be done to help your friends understand, the Lord will bring it to pass. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
The Lord knows who will believe and who will not. He will lead you to say what is needed to those who will believe. Others may enter the picture to back you up. You will probably not be led to say something to one who the Lord knows will scorn it.
Incoming Email I think that God is simply not willing that any perish. Hence the delay.
My reply I know that whatever he does is perfect. His timing is perfect. We may not understand, but the Rapture will take place at the very best possible time. We will understand why it had to be that way later if we don't now.
Incoming Email Dissapointed but not discouraged
The subject says it. We'll just keep watching... He will come again soon. My faith has never been stronger and much of that is because of you. Thank you, keep up the good work.
My reply Me too, disappointed but not discouraged. We know that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord. We don't have to know why. We just have to love the Lord and trust him to work everything out his way. My faith cannot be broken, no matter what the test. I have peace and know that everything is is His capable hands.
