Re: kings of Israel becoming sons of God when they become king

> > I’ll tell you something that may surprise you. The kings of Israel were also the sons of God. In Psalm 2:7, the Lord tells the king, “You are my son/Today I have begotten you.”

I searched the Word of God for "my son," and "son of God," and found that there are only two kings that are referred to as the son of God. Solomon and Jesus, who will be known as the King of kings and Lord of lords at the Second Advent. In 1 Chronicles 28:6, the Lord said to David, "SOLOMON thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be MY SON, AND I WILL BE HIS FATHER."

Israel was chosen to play out dramatic skits in their history recorded in the Bible to help us understand prophecy. Since Jesus is both son of David and son of God, God called Solomon, a type of Christ, both "son of David" and "my son." Both Solomon and Jesus will build the Temple. Solomon had multiple wives, and the Bride of Christ will be multiple. Both Solomon and Jesus are known for their wisdom.

Psalm 24:10 asks, "Who is this King of glory?" and answers, "THE LORD OF HOSTS, HE IS THE KING OF GLORY. Selah." When we see the word "Selah," meaning pause, it indicates that we should stop and think, this is important. Here, we need to identify "THE LORD OF HOSTS."

The answer is found in Isaiah 44:6. "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH/Yahweh) the King of Israel, AND HIS REDEEMER the LORD (YHWH) OF HOSTS; I am the first (YHWH King of Israel), AND I am the last (HIS REDEEMER the YHWH OF HOSTS); and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD." YHWH, KING OF ISRAEL, IS THE REDEEMER, THE FIRST AND LAST, AND THE LORD OF HOSTS.

In John 8:23, Jesus said, "Ye are from beneath; I AM FROM ABOVE: ye are of this world; I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD"?

Luke 1:78 says, "Through the tender mercy of our GOD; WHEREBY THE DAYSPRING FROM ON HIGH HATH VISITED US".

Proverbs 30:4 asks us to stop and think by asking questions we need to answer. It says, "Who hath ascended up into heaven (i.e., God), or descended? (God) who hath gathered the wind in his fists? (God) who hath bound the waters in a garment? (God) who hath established all the ends of the earth? (God) WHAT IS HIS NAME (YHWH), and WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, if thou canst tell?"

To find out what YHWH'S SON'S NAME IS, we should first think about what 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". New Testament believers should not discard the Old Testament. OT believers should not discard the New Testament. Both are God's word. One explains the other.

Then go to Revelation, where it is revealed. "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" is a dramatic miracle play. The setting is 10 days before the Pre-Trib Rapture (2:10). The Rapture is "at hand" in both the first and last chapters (1:3 and 22:10). From this vantage point, Jesus shows us things that take place before the Rapture, at the Rapture and following the Rapture (1:19). John, both narrator and scribe, writes it all down. Jesus starts his dramatic production with a short Introduction and then a Preview of the FIRST TRUMP RAPTURE (Rev. 1:8-18; I Thess. 4:13-18).

As the Preview begins, Jesus, the Producer, tells us who he is. "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the ending, saith the Lord, which is (i.e., at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent), THE ALMIGHTY" (1:8).

In the last chapter, just before signing off, Jesus reminds us who he is again. "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the end, the first (YHWH King of Israel) AND the last (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer)....I Jesus have sent MINE ANGEL (i.e., THE ANGEL OF THE LORD) to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root (YHWH King of Israel) AND the offspring of David" (Jesus) (22:13,16). As Matthew 1:23 says, he is "God with us."

II Cor. 5:19 tells us that, "GOD (i.e., YHWH) WAS IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF." No wonder Jesus said, "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE" (John 10:30).

In John 14:8-11, "Philip saith unto him (Jesus), LORD, SHEW US THE FATHER, and it sufficeth us. JESUS SAITH UNTO HIM, HAVE I BEEN SO LONG TIME WITH YOU, AND YET HAST THOU NOT KNOWN ME, PHILIP? HE THAT HATH SEEN ME HATH SEEN THE FATHER; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? BELIEVEST THOU NOT THAT I AM IN THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER IN ME? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but THE FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME, HE DOETH THE WORKS. Believe me that I AM IN THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER IN ME: or else believe me for the very works' sake." Those credentials: he raised the dead, cured the sick, made the blind see and the deaf hear.

Summing up the anser to Proverbs 30:4, 1 Corinthians 8:6 says, "But to us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER, OF WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, and we in him; AND ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, AND WE BY HIM."

Jesus called the indwelling Holy Spirit the Comforter. He descended on the Church on Pentecost in 30 AD. In John 16:7, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you."

Acts 2:1-4 says, "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND BEGAN TO SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE."

Their speaking with other tongues fulfilled Isaiah 28:11. Isaiah 28:9-13 says, "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: FOR WITH STAMMERING LIPS AND ANOTHER TONGUE WILL HE SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken."

1 Corinthians 15:47 says, "The first man ('Adam, which was the son of God.' Luke 2:38) is of the earth, earthy: THE SECOND MAN (THE SON OF GOD, JESUS) IS THE LORD FROM HEAVEN."

In John 8:23-27, Jesus "said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I AM FROM ABOVE: ye are of this world; I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. THEY UNDERSTOOD NOT THAT HE SPAKE TO THEM OF THE FATHER."

John 1:18 declares that "NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME; THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHICH IS IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER, HE HATH DECLARED HIM." When the angel of the Lord was seen in Old Testament days, it was the pre-incarnate Son of God. In New Testament days, "GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF" (II Cor. 5:19).

Isaiah 48:16,17 says, "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now THE LORD GOD (1, the Father), AND HIS SPIRIT (2, the Holy Spirit), HATH SENT ME (3, YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, i.e., the Pre-Incarnate Son of God). Thus saith the LORD (YHWH), THY REDEEMER, the Holy One of Israel" (i.e., at first, the Pre-incarnate Christ, later, Jesus, the kinsman redeemer that took the punishment due us for our sins, so that believers would not have to die for their own sins).

Matthew 28:19 elaborates on this. Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in THE NAME (singular) OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST". Those three are one united YHWH.

Deuteronomy 6:4 agrees. It says, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD (YHWH) our God (Elohim) is one (echad, UNITED) LORD (YHWH)".

Jeremiah 23:24 says, "Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD (YHWH). Do not I FILL HEAVEN AND EARTH? saith the LORD (YHWH)." God is everywhere. Acts 17:28 explains, "For IN HIM WE LIVE, AND MOVE, AND HAVE OUR BEING; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring."

Hebrews 1:1-3 (LITV) says, "GOD SPOKE TO THE FATHERS IN THE PROPHETS; IN THESE LAST DAYS HE SPOKE TO US IN THE SON, WHOM HE APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL; through whom he indeed made the ages; who being the shining splendor of his glory, and THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS ESSENCE, AND UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, HAVING MADE PURIFICATION OF OUR SINS THROUGH HIMSELF, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high".

Exodus 3:1-6, 15 says, "Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to THE BACKSIDE OF THE DESERT (i.e., the inner part of the desert near the Mediterranean Sea), and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb (Mt. Sinai, now called Mt. Jebel Helal). And THE ANGEL OF THE LORD APPEARED unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when THE LORD saw that he turned aside to see, GOD called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I AM THE GOD OF THY FATHER, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon GOD.... And GOD said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD GOD (YHWH Elohim) of your fathers, the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: THIS IS MY NAME FOR EVER, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

Acts 7:30-35 (LITV) explains, "forty years being fulfilled to him, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD APPEARED to him in a flame of fire in a bush in the wilderness of Mount Sinai. And seeing, Moses marveled at the sight. And he coming up to look, A VOICE OF THE LORD came to him: "I AM THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB."

Genesis 22:11-13 says, "THE ANGEL OF THE LORD CALLED UNTO HIM (Abraham) OUT OF HEAVEN, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest GOD, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from ME. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son." The ram was a type of Jesus, who was offered up for our sins instead of us having to die for our own sins. His offering applies to those that accept him.

Judges 6:22,23 says, "And when Gideon perceived that he was AN ANGEL OF THE LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O LORD GOD! for because I have seen AN ANGEL OF THE LORD face to face. And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die."

1 Chronicles 21:16,17 says, "David lifted up his eyes, and saw THE ANGEL OF THE LORD (i.e., the Redeemer) STAND BETWEEN THE EARTH AND THE HEAVEN, HAVING A DRAWN SWORD IN HIS HAND stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces. And David said unto GOD..."

At the time of the Preview of the Rapture, Revelation 1:16 says of Jesus, "he had in his right hand seven stars (the angels of the seven churches; 1:20): and out of his mouth went a SHARP TWOEDGED SWORD: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength." Those that are not believers will be cut off.

Zechariah 12:8 says, "In that day (Day of God's Wrath, Day of the Lord) shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David (i.e., Jesus, son of David) shall be AS GOD, AS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD before them."

2 Samuel 7:26,27 says, "And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, THE LORD OF HOSTS IS THE GOD OVER ISRAEL: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee. or thou, O LORD OF HOSTS, GOD OF ISRAEL, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house".

If Jesus is the YHWH OF HOSTS, how is he THE REDEEMER? The epistle to the Hebrews says in 9:22, "almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD IS NO REMISSION." Colossians 1:14 tells us plainly, "WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, even the forgiveness of sins".

Hebrews 9:13-17 says, "For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through THE ETERNAL SPIRIT offered himself without spot (i.e., the perfect sacrifice) to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is THE MEDIATOR of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."

Isaiah 64:6 says, "we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags". We need a Redeemer and a perfect sacrifice.

The second Psalm is mentioned in Acts 13:32,33 of God's word. It says, "we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that HE HATH RAISED UP JESUS AGAIN; as it is also WRITTEN IN THE SECOND PSALM, THOU ART MY SON, THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE." The word translated "begotten" is "gennao." It means begotten or regenerated, which fits the Resurrection best.

Of the Day of God's Wrath, Psalm 2 says, "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD (YHWH), AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED (Christ, the Mashiach), saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. HE THAT SITTETH IN THE HEAVENS SHALL LAUGH: THE LORD SHALL HAVE THEM IN DERISION. THEN SHALL HE SPEAK UNTO THEM IN HIS WRATH, and vex them in his sore displeasure. YET HAVE I SET MY KING UPON MY HOLY HILL OF ZION. I will declare the decree: the LORD (YHWH) hath said unto ME (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, Christ, the Messiah), THOU ART MY SON; THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with A ROD OF IRON; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. KISS THE SON, LEST HE BE ANGRY, AND YE PERISH FROM THE WAY, WHEN HIS WRATH IS KINDLED BUT A LITTLE. BLESSED ARE ALL THEY THAT PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM."

The Day of God's Wrath is the day Jesus is crowned King of kings in Heaven. Besides being Coronation Day, it is the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Marriage of the Lamb. The believers will receive their rewards in Heaven and the unbelievers will receive their rewards on Earth. Rev 11:15-19 says "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND HE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come (i.e., the Second Advent is still 7 months future; Eze. 39:12-14) because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and HAST REIGNED. And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged (at the Judgment Seat of Christ), and that thou shouldest GIVE REWARD unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND SHOULDEST DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

In Revelation 2:25-27, Jesus said, "that which ye have already hold fast TILL I COME. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: EVEN AS I RECEIVED OF MY FATHER. And I will give him the morning star" (Heaven).

Revelation 12:5 says, "she (Israel, i.e., Mary) brought forth a man child (Jesus), WHO WAS TO RULE ALL NATIONS WITH A ROD OF IRON: and HER CHILD WAS CAUGHT UP UNTO GOD, AND TO HIS THRONE." Acts 1:9 says, "while they beheld, HE (Jesus) WAS TAKEN UP; and a cloud received him out of their sight."

Revelation 19:15 says, "And out of his (Jesus') mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON: AND HE TREADETH THE WINEPRESS OF THE FIERCENESS AND WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD."

Psalm 2:9 says, "thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."

Revelation 8:5-11 answers. It says, "the angel took the censer (globe-shaped), and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth (symbolizing an asteroid impact): and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail (i.e., of stones) and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire (a piece of the asteroid after it broke up at the Roche Limit) was cast into the sea (the Mediterranean): and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and THERE FELL A GREAT STAR (aster, star, meteorite or asteroid) from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And THE NAME OF THE STAR IS CALLED WORMWOOD (it is Satan's home): and the third part of the waters became wormwood (meaning bitter); and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter."

Isaiah 22:16-19 asks, "What hast thou here? (Babylon) and whom hast thou here (the Satan-possessed False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? (first on the planet Rahab, then on the asteroid Wormwood) Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. He will surely violently TURN AND TOSS THEE LIKE A BALL into a large country (Iraq, not tiny Israel): there shalt thou die (i.e., when tossed into the Lake of Fire that forms at Babylon), and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's (Satan's) house. And I will drive thee from thy station (i.e., fixed orbit), and from thy state shall he pull thee down."

Revelation 19:20 says, "the beast (of Rev. 13:2-10) was taken, and with him the false prophet (of Rev. 13:11-18) that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire."

Ezekiel 1:26-28 says, "above the firmament (expanse of space) that was over their heads (i.e., farther out in space than the terrestrial planets) was the likeness of A THRONE, AS THE APPEARANCE OF A SAPPHIRE STONE (sapphire means Heaven as a birthstone; it also means dear to the planet Saturn from the Sanskrit Sani [Saturn] and priya [dear]): and upon the likeness (symbolic language) of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (i.e., Jesus, the REDEEMER, THE LORD OF HOSTS) above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber (Saturn is amber), as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins (from the equator) even upward, and from the appearance of his loins (from the equator) even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness (Saturn's rings) round about. As the appearance of the bow (rainbow) that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. (Both are made up of ice crystals.) This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD." Heaven has a halo.

Ezekiel 10:1,2 says, "I looked, and, behold, in the firmament (expanse of space) that was above the head of the cherubims (i.e., farther out in space than the 4 terrestrial planets that travel in concentric orbits) there appeared over them as it were A SAPPHIRE STONE (i.e., Heaven), as the appearance of the likeness of a THRONE (Jesus'). And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels (orbits), even under the cherub (Satan, Eze. 28):, and fill thine hand with coals of fire (i.e., asteroids) from between the cherubims (terrestrial planets), and scatter them over the city" (Jerusalem).

When the asteroid splits, the mountain-sized piece will hit the Mediterranean Sea. The larger piece will obliterate Babylon. Only coals of fire will be scattered over Jerusalem, the place of the Lord's house.

Ezekiel 28:13-18 says to Satan, "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone (standing for the planets) was thy covering (i.e., surroundings), the sardius (Mercury), topaz (Venus), and the diamond (Earth), the beryl (Mars), the onyx (Rahab, originally Satan's planet, now the Asteroid Belt), and the jasper (Jupiter), the sapphire (Saturn, the 3rd heaven from Earth), the emerald (Uranus), and the carbuncle (Neptune), and gold (Pluto)...Thou (Satan) art the anointed cherub that covereth (guards, i.e guards with the flaming sword [that turns in every direction] the way to Saturn); and I have set thee so (Gen. 3:24): thou wast upon the holy mountain of God (i.e., on Saturn); thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire (Rahab was in the middle of the planetary lineup that reflects the sunlight). Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God (i.e., Saturn): and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire (asteroids). Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I WILL CAST THEE TO THE GROUND, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries (Rahab, Wormwood and Babylon) by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore WILL I BRING FORTH A FIRE FROM THE MIDST OF THEE, IT SHALL DEVOUR THEE, AND I WILL BRING THEE TO ASHES UPON THE EARTH in the sight of all them that behold thee."

Hebrews 11:13-16 says, "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that THEY WERE STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS ON THE EARTH. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. BUT NOW THEY DESIRE A BETTER COUNTRY, THAT IS, AN HEAVENLY".

> > Finally, in the Infancy Narratives in Matthew and Luke, Jesus’ status as the son of God is pushed back to his conception. This doesn’t mean, however, that divine sperm was somehow inserted into Mary. What divine sonship really means is that Jesus had a special relationship to God from the very beginning, and it suggests that these Infancy Narratives are not intended to be taken literally. Otherwise, why would the Gospels trace Jesus’ lineage to King David through Joseph?...

The whole Bible is to be taken literally where possible. The words "like," or "likeness," and "as" are often symbolic. The Bible gives the lineage through both Mary, whose father was Heli (Luke 3:23) and Joseph, whose father was Jacob. Matthew 1:16 says, "And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ." Both Joseph (stepfather) and Mary (mother) were descended from David, Mary from Nathan, son of David (Luke 3:31), and Joseph from Solomon, son of David (Mt. 1:6).

> > The idea that the Messiah would return as a descendant of King David is reflected in the Christian tradition mentioned earlier, which sees Jesus as being a descendant of David (incidentally, through his father Joseph)....

Joseph was not the father of Jesus. Luke 1:35 says that the angel Gabriel "said unto her (Mary), THE HOLY GHOST SHALL COME UPON THEE, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: THEREFORE ALSO THAT HOLY THING WHICH SHALL BE BORN OF THEE SHALL BE CALLED THE SON OF GOD." Matthew 1:20 says, "BEHOLD, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD appeared unto him (Joseph) in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for THAT WHICH IS CONCEIVED IN HER IS OF THE HOLY GHOST."

Luke 1:41-43 says, "ELISABETH WAS FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that THE MOTHER OF MY LORD should come to me?"

Through the inspiration of God, Elisabeth knew that Mary was pregnant with Jesus, the body prepared for the LORD OF HOSTS. "Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but A BODY HAST THOU PREPARED ME" (Hebrews 10:5).

Jesus is called THE WORD OF GOD. John 1:1-3,14,15 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made".

"And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me." John was 6 months older than Jesus. Since Jesus was before John the Baptist, it was because God was in him.

John 3:16-18 says, "God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Romans 10:9 says "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Jesus has a secret name that no one knows, and the angel of the Lord has a secret name. Jesus ascended, and the angel of the Lord ascended. That's food for thought. I think the angel of the LORD that was seen was the pre-incarnate Christ. He always was the one that dealt with man. If the angel of the LORD was not seen, but heard, he could be the Holy Spirit. Jesus ascended so he could send the comforter, the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 19:12-16 says, "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and HE HAD A NAME WRITTEN, THAT NO MAN KNEW, BUT HE HIMSELF. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: AND HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with A ROD OF IRON: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Judges 13:18-20 says, "THE ANGEL OF THE LORD said unto him, WHY ASKEST THOU THUS AFTER MY NAME, SEEING IT IS SECRET? So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD (YHWH): and THE ANGEL did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. For it came to pass, WHEN THE FLAME WENT UP TOWARD HEAVEN FROM OFF THE ALTAR, THAT THE ANGEL OF THE LORD ASCENDED IN THE FLAME OF THE ALTAR."

Both the ANGEL OF THE LORD and the WORD OF THE LORD came to Elijah AT DIFFERENT TIMES. 1 Kings 19:7-10 says, "THE ANGEL OF THE LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb (Mt. Sinai) the mount of God. And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; AND, BEHOLD, THE WORD OF THE LORD (the Pre-incarnate Christ) came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD GOD OF HOSTS (i.e., the Redeemer): for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."

Both the ANGEL OF THE LORD and Jesus were seen after the Resurrection, but AT DIFFERENT TIMES. Matthew 28:2-7 says, "behold, there was a great earthquake: for THE ANGEL OF THE LORD DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN, AND CAME AND ROLLED BACK THE STONE FROM THE DOOR, AND SAT UPON IT. HIS COUNTENANCE WAS LIKE LIGHTNING, AND HIS RAIMENT WHITE AS SNOW: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And THE ANGEL ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO THE WOMEN, FEAR NOT YE: FOR I KNOW THAT YE SEEK JESUS, WHICH WAS CRUCIFIED. HE IS NOT HERE: FOR HE IS RISEN, as he said. COME, SEE THE PLACE WHERE THE LORD LAY. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you."...
