Incoming e-mail, Re: CONSIDER THIS

I believe that the 'Seventh Seal' BEGINS the 'Wrath of God' at mid-tribulation AFTER the 'Tribulation Saints' are seen in Heaven by John.

Rev 7:14
"These are they WHO HAVE COME OUT of the great tribulation-- " (I think they got to Heaven by the 'second rapture' at mid-tribulation before the 'Wrath of God' is poured out upon the earth at the Seventh Seal. Christians are NOT APPOINTED TO suffer God's Wrath - only the wrath of the anti-Christ during the first half of the tribulation to test those left-behind.)

Rev 8:5 Seventh Seal
"Then the angel took the censer, FILLED IT WITH FIRE FROM THE ALTER (in heaven) AND HURLED IT ON THE EARTH---" (this is the beginning of the 'Wrath of God'. Previous wrath to this is the wrath of the anti-Christ)

At this point the "fullness of the Gentiles has come in" and God turns His attention to saving the Jews during the second half of the tribulation. If there is a rapture at the end of the tribulation it will be only for the 'Sainted Jews'. The gentiles left-behind after the second rapture at mid-tribulation will "will receive a strong delusion from God" and WILL NOT get a THIRD chance at salvation. Come Lord Jesus!

Our difference is in the time of the second Rapture. To me, the Great Tribulation is the last half of the 70th Week of Daniel 9, and the second Rapture is on the Day of God's Wrath at the end of the Great Tribulation, but before the Wrath of God falls on the unbelievers left behind. Let's look at some scriptures again.

Mt 24:15-31 starts with the False Prophet of Rev. 13:10-18 sitting in the Temple at Mid-Trib "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4). It ends with the gathering of all the saints who were taken to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture to the General Assembly in Heaven (Heb. 12:23) on the Day of God's Wrath, the Feast of Trumpets, which is also the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Heb 12:22-24 says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the GENERAL ASSEMBLY (a public festal assembly; Thayer; i.e., on the Feast of Trumpets) and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus".

Mt 24:15-31 says, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand: [ i.e., stand in the Temple]) Then (Mid-Trib) let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains (to be fed there 1260 days; Rev. 12:6,14): Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then (i.e., from Mid-Trib to the Day of God's Wrath) shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days (the last 1260 days) should be SHORTENED (to 1040; Dan. 8:13,14 has 2300 total for the Tribulation), there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake (the Tribulation saints) those days (of the Great Tribulation) shall be SHORTENED. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he (i.e., the False Prophet) is in the desert (i.e., in Babylon, Iraq); go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase (body, i.e., the Body of Christ) is (it's in Heaven), there will the eagles (high-flying Tribulation saints) be gathered together.

Continuing, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days (i.e., after the Great Tribulation, the last half of the Tribulation) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven (sixth seal, Rev. 6:12-17), and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then (i.e., at the sixth seal) shall appear THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN in heaven (i.e., they will see him in the sky sitting on his throne; Rev. 6:16): and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (i.e., 7 months before the Second Advent; Eze. 39:12,13). And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet (THE 'LAST TRUMP' of I Cor. 15:51,52), and they shall gather together his elect (i.e., the Bride of Christ that was caught up to Heaven at the first trump, the Pre-Trib Rapture) from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."

Isa 40:31 says, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Mark 13:27 includes the Pre-Wrath Rapture. It says, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (i.e., those caught up at the last trump, the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN" (those caught up to Heaven at the first trump, the Pre-Trib Rapture).

> > Christians are NOT APPOINTED TO suffer God's Wrath - only the wrath of the anti-Christ during the first half of the tribulation to test those left-behind.)

No believer will suffer God's Wrath. I think the wise virgins will be caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture, and the foolish virgins will be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture. Only unbelievers will be left on Earth to suffer God's Wrath.

Rev 6:17 says, "For the great DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?" Probably no one, for the worldwide earthquake of Eze. 38:20 will cause every wall to fall.

Rev 7:9-17 says, "After this (i.e., after the Day of God's Wrath had come) I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb (IN HEAVEN), clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands (i.e., the Pre-Wrath Rapture just took place); And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, AND HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb (Christ, both man and God) which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

After the Tribulation saints are safe in Heaven, there will be silence in Heaven and Earth while Christ is seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Rev 8:1 says, "And when he had opened the SEVENTH SEAL, there was SILENCE IN HEAVEN about the space of half an hour."

Hab 2:20 says, "the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the EARTH KEEP SILENCE before him."

After that, the 7 trumpet judgments take place.

Rev. 11:15-19 tells us more about that Feast of Trumpets when Christ begins to reign. It says, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art (on the Feast of Trumpets that begins the Millennial reign of Christ), and wast (at the First Advent), and art to come (at the Second Advent 7 months future); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED, and that thou shouldest GIVE REWARD UNTO THY SERVANTS the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (in the Old Testament, it had in it the two stones with the ten commandments written on them): and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

In Rev. 8:8-11, we see that there will be two asteroids hit Earth. I think the two stone tablets were types of the two stone asteroids that would punish those that broke the Ten Commandments and didn't believe in the Messiah.

Isa. 22:16-19 says, "What hast thou here? (Babylon) and whom hast thou here (the Satan-possessed False Prophet), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? Behold, the LORD will carry thee (Satan's asteroid, Wormwood) away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. He will surely violently TURN AND TOSS THEE LIKE A BALL into a large country (not tiny Israel): there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down." Agape

Re: Old Testament saints, Samson's question and Pastor Riley's answer

> > Samson Mwawasi said, "will those who went with Jesus when He resurrected, resurrect again at the rapture? Will their tombs break open again?"

I don't know for sure whether the tombs will break open again, but I will share with you what I think. It seems likely that the graves will open though. It would be a good sign to those left behind. Let's look at some scriptures and see what they indicate.

Those that "sleep" in I Thess 4:13-18 are the dead in Christ.1Cor 15:18, 20,21 says, "they also which are fallen ASLEEP IN CHRIST ARE PERISHED."

There are two trumps of God, two Raptures, a Pre-Trib Rapture (I Thess 4:13-18) and a Pre-Wrath Rapture (I Cor. 15:51,52). Not one believer will ever be hit by the wrath of God. The Tribulation saints must be removed from Earth before the wrath of God hits the unbelievers left behind.

Of the FIRST TRUMP OF GOD, the Pre-Trib Rapture, 1Thess 4:13-18 says, "I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren (believers), concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so THEM ALSO WHICH SLEEP IN JESUS WILL GOD BRING WITH HIM. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (phthano, be beforehand, precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP OF GOD: and THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." The dead in Christ will get their resurrection bodies and rise up in the air. Then we will be raptured.

Those left behind will see people going up. Psa. 40:1-3 says, "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay (as Jeremiah was alive and was pulled up out of a miry pit), and set my feet upon a rock (Heaven), and established my goings. And he hath put a NEW SONG in my mouth, even praise unto our God: MANY SHALL SEE IT, AND FEAR, AND SHALL TRUST IN THE LORD."

Jeremiah "sunk in the mire" before he was pulled out of the miry pit. Jer 38:6 says, "Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire." Later, he was pulled out of the miry pit with a cord and rotten rags. This may be a type of the dead in Christ being brought out of their graves.

Coming up out of a pit in Psa. 40 makes me think that graves will be opened, but I can't be sure. I think this is the first group to be raptured, because we see these saints singing the new song in Rev. 5:9,10. It says, "And they (the saints) sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on (epi, on or over) the earth."

In 2Cor 5:8, Paul said, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Therefore, from Jesus' resurrection forward, the dead in Christ are alive and in their incorruptable spiritual bodies in Heaven.

1Cor 15:42-44 says, "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."

As I see it, at the first Rapture, Jesus will come down bringing with him all the saints that have died. These will be the saints of the Age of the Gentiles (approximately 2000 years), of the Age of the Jews (approximately 2000 years), and of the Age of the Church (approximately 2000 years). All these believed in the Messiah. Those before Jesus believed that he would come. We believe that he came.

Heb 11:40 says, "God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect (teleioo, complete)."

Not until the Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Tribulation saints will we all become immortal. At the time of the First-Trump Rapture, we will become incorruptible. At the time of the Last-Trump Rapture, we will become immortal. So will the Tribulation saints.

I Cor. 15:51-54 says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and WE SHALL BE CHANGED (i.e., including Paul, who will be one of the 24 elders caught up in the first Rapture, for they are the 12 patriarchs and the 12 apostles of Israel). For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

The saints caught up in the first Rapture sing a NEW SONG in Rev. 5:9. The 144,000 caught up in the second Rapture also sing the NEW SONG, but no other Tribulation saint can sing the NEW SONG.

Rev 14:2-5 says, "I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, WHICH WERE REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH. These are they which were not defiled with women; for THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for THEY ARE WITHOUT FAULT BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD."

It seems that the 144,000 are added to the Bride-of-Christ group caught up in the first Rapture.

> > Pastor Riley said, "An Answer to Samson"
> > The Old Testament believers are to be resurrected at the middle of the coming Tribulation, Daniel 12:1-2. Read this passage in context with Daniel 11:38-45. Notice that the first verse of chapter 12 is a continuation of what is being stated in chapter 11, as this 12th chapter starts with the words, "And at that time...." What time? The time set forth in Daniel 11:45. The time when the coming Antichrist sets "his palace between the seas" at the middle of the Tribulation.

I think the time in Dan. 12:1,2 is the END of the Tribulation, not the middle. Dan 11:36 says, "And the king (i.e., the False Prophet) shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper TILL THE INDIGNATION BE ACCOMPLISHED".

Dan 11:40 says, "AT THE TIME OF THE END shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind"

Dan 11:45 says, "And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to HIS END, and none shall help him."

The False Prophet will come to HIS END at the end of the Great Tribulation, which is the shortened last half of the 7-year Tribulation.

> > What is described in Daniel 12:1-2 very clearly speaks of the very same time period as that of Revelation 12:7-12 when "Michael and his angels" stand up to oppose Satan at the middle of the Tribulation period.

We need to remember that there were no chapter divisions in the originals. Dan 12:1,2 goes on to say, "And at that time (when the False Prophet shall come to his end) shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be A TIME OF TROUBLE (the Day of God's Wrath), SUCH AS NEVER WAS SINCE THERE WAS A NATION EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME: thy people (Israel) shall be delivered (malat, ESCAPE, BE RESCUED, LEAP OUT, i.e., in the Pre-Wrath Rapture), every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake".

This could easily include breaking open the graves. If they break open at the second Rapture, there is a good chance that they will open at the first Rapture.

The Day of God's Wrath has come in Rev. 6:17. Then Rev. 7:9-17 says of the second Rapture, "After this (i.e., after the Day of God's Wrath has come) I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne (in Heaven), and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders (caught up to God in the first Rapture, Rev. 4:4) and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION (the last half of the Tribulation), and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb (i.e., confessed their sins as in I John 1:9, to bring all sins committed since accepting Christ under his blood). Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. THEY SHALL HUNGER NO MORE, NEITHER THIRST ANY MORE; NEITHER SHALL THE SUN LIGHT ON THEM, OR ANY HEAT (i.e., they are in Heaven). For the Lamb (Jesus) which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

> > Pastor Riley said: It is therefore at the middle of the Tribulation that the resurrection of the Old Testament believers will occur. But they will not be "caught up" to glory. Rather, they will be restored to natural physical life. Such a state of being is clearly promised to several of God's men in the Old Testament, Daniel himself being one of them, Daniel 12:13.

Dan 12:12,13 says, "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till THE END (i.e., the end of the 2300-day shortened Tribulation) be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days" (the 1335 days from Mid-Trib, when Daniel will be given his land in Israel).

> > Pastor Riley said: Most prophecy students totally ignore the Davidic Covenant and the promises the Lord made to King David, yet there is an abundance of Scripture that clearly states that King David is to rule over Israel again. In fact, I can demonstrate from the Scriptures, book, chapter, and verse, that King David will be resurrected back to life at the middle of the Tribulation and will be king over Israel during the last half of the Tribulation. It is also revealed in Ezekiel 46:16-18 that King David [the Prince...Ezekiel 37:25] is going to father more children DURING THE COMING MILLENNIAL KINGDOM. The only way that would be possible is to have King David resurrected back to life in a natural body. Compare Psalm 92:12-15. (emphasis mine)

This is all "DURING THE COMING MILLENNIAL KINGDOM."
Eze 45:1 says, "Moreover, when ye shall DIVIDE BY LOT THE LAND for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land." Remember Daniel will stand in his lot at the end of the 1335 days counted from the middle of the Tribulation.

Dan. 12:11-13 says, "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up (Mid-Trib), there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and STAND IN THY LOT at the end of the days."

Eze 46:15-18 says of the Millennium, "Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering. Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons'; it shall be their possession by inheritance. But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons' for them. Moreover the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession."

Eze 37:22-28 says, "And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be NO MORE TWO NATIONS, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: (i.e., there will be no Palestinian State, therefore, I think this is in the Millennium.) Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them (i.e., in the Millennium); and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever (i.e., starting at the beginning of the Millennium). Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore."

To me, this can't happen while the False Prophet rules. It has to be after the Tribulation is over, and after the wrath of God has hit Earth.

Psa 92:12-15 says of the Millennium, "The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."

Isa 16:5 is in the Millennium. It says, "And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he (i.e., Jesus) shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

I don't think the Lord would put David or the Israelites back on Earth until after the Tribulation, after the Day of God's Wrath, which is the great and terrible Day of the Lord.. Zech 14:1-3 says, "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle."

Then the two asteroids of Rev. 8:8-11 will impact Earth. The worldwide earthquake of Eze. 38:20 will cause every wall to fall. The dead will lay around the Earth. On that day, all the saved are in heaven receiving their rewards. That includes Israelites.

Rev. 11:15-19 says, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."
