Comet Lulin Approaches

APOD: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap090202.html

...Comet Lulin could well become visible to the unaided eye later this month....Comet Lulin's orbit indicates that this is likely the comet's first trip into the inner Solar System....In this picture, taken from Italy last Friday, are Comet Lulin's coma and tails, one tail pointing away from the Sun, and an anti-tail -- dust that trails the comet in its orbit and may appear to point toward the Sun.

February night sky: Comet Lulin comes in from the cold

"Comet Lulin moves during February along the bottom of Virgo and into the neighbouring constellation of LEO. To find Leo, return to the Plough and take the two stars which make up the side of the bowl nearest to the handle. Follow these down toward the horizon and you reach REGULUS at the base of the sickle which is Leo’s most prominent feature. On the 27th the comet, just past its brightest, will be just over half a degree from the star which forms our second convenient signpost.

By then, Lulin will already have passed by the ringed planet, SATURN, which is lurking among Leo’s hind legs. SATURN LIES JUST ABOVE THE LINE WHICH JOINS REGULUS AND SPICA, and at magnitude 0.2 is the brightest thing in that part of the sky.

My reply to an incoming email, Re: false teaching

> > Many Christians, unfortunately have been led astray by their hireling shepherds, into believing that Christians would be "Raptured" out of this before the Anti-christ is revealed. This is totally and completely a false teaching according to II Thess. 2:1-5 KJV: "NOW we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That, ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the DAY OF CHRIST is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day (the Rapture of the Lords True Believers) shall not come, except there come A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. (the Antichrist). Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"

THE DEPARTING ACTUALLY COMES BEFORE THE MAN OF SIN IS REVEALED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIBULATION

Unfortunately, the KJV translation has two errors in this passage. Older manuscripts were found after the KJV was translated. The "DAY OF CHRIST" should be the "DAY OF THE LORD", and "A FALLING AWAY FIRST" should be "A DEPARTING FIRST." The Rapture comes before the man of sin is revealed, and both come before the Day of the Lord begins.

Three of our oldest manuscripts, the Vatican Codex, the Alexandrine Codex, and the Sinaitic Codex, have THE DAY OF THE LORD.

II Thess. 2.2 (ISV) says "not to be so quickly upset or alarmed when someone claims that we said either by some spirit, conversation, or letter that the DAY OF THE LORD has already come."

The departing is the Pre-Trib Rapture. This is why Jesus said in Luke 21:36 (KJV), "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

II Thess. 2.3 (Geneva) says, "Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for that day shall not come, except there come A DEPARTING FIRST, and that that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition".

In "The Rapture in 2 Thessalonians 2:3,"
(http://www.pre-trib.org/article-view.php?id=165), Thomas Ice said, "The first seven English translations of apostasia all rendered the noun as either "departure" or "departing." They are as follows: Wycliffe Bible(1384); Tyndale Bible (1526); Coverdale Bible (1535); Cranmer Bible (1539);Breeches Bible (1576); Beza Bible (1583); Geneva Bible (1608).[5] This supports the notion that the word truly means "departure." In fact,Jerome's Latin translation known as the Vulgate from around the time of a.d. 400 renders apostasia with the "word discessio, meaning 'departure.' Why was the King James Version the first to depart from the established translation of "departure"?

I don't know why the KJV translators made this mistake in II Thess. 2:3, but thank you, LORD JESUS CHRIST, our shepherd, for telling us plainly in Luke 21:36 that we can "ESCAPE" before the Tribulation begins.

JESUS' MESSAGE TO THE PHILADELPHIANS, FOR WHOM HE HAD NO WORDS OF CONDEMNATION

In Rev 3:10 Jesus said, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (hupomone, patient enduring), I also will keep thee from (ek, out of) the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

JESUS' MESSAGE TO THE LUKEWARM LAODICEANS

In Rev 3:16, Jesus said, "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, OUR SHEPHERD, COMMANDED US TO WATCH

"And the Lord said (in Luke 12-42-46), "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant (the foolish one who is not watching) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (the 2300-day shortened Tribulation) with the unbelievers."

Mt 24:50,51 adds, "The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion (the Tribulation) with the hypocrites (pretenders): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."

In Mt. 22:13,14, the astonished man without a wedding garment was cast outside the door (symbol of the Rapture in Rev. 3:8) Then, "THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN."

We need to be called, and chosen and faithful. In Rev. 17:14, at the time of the Rapture, those with Jesus, the Lamb of God, are "CALLED AND CHOSEN AND FAITHFUL."

In Mt 25:112, Jesus told us the Parable of the Ten Virgins. He said, "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil (symbol of the Holy Spirit) in their vessels (i.e., bodies) with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, THE BRIDEGROOM CAME; AND THEY THAT WERE READY WENT IN WITH HIM TO THE MARRIAGE: AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not."

I John 1:9 tells us what we have to do to have enough oil of the Holy Spirit. It says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Then we are ready for the Rapture. Agape

Incoming e-mail, Re: The Judgment Seat of Christ in a nutshell

First, I am very grateful that my post (Warning: Tears in Heaven! [POSTED ON FIVE DOVES SITE]) elicited such responses from you, which means we are all interested to arrive at the truth of the matter at hand. Peggy, maybe I was wrong to use the word "punished," but I'm still looking for a better and exact word in its stead. (I'm a Filipino and English is a second language to me.) Is the following not a case of punishment? -- "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:45-48). I believe the parables have the people of God in view.

Frank Molver, the Judgment Seat of Christ will happen IN HEAVEN. It will be in heaven where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I just looked up in a Webster's dictionary, one definition of weep is "to shed tears."

Anonymous, my apologies if my post really upset you. On the other hand, I hope this is the beginning of our Bible study to dig deeper into the riches of the Word of God.

Since I am lacking in the use of right words to explain this extremely important subject of the salvation of the soul, I am copying from the writing of someone who has the eloquence and ability and wisdom to elucidate the same. I don't know how to copy and paste, so I may produce typographical errors by copying the old, typewriter-day way: --

"The judgment seat of Christ will be operable in one realm alone -- man's actions, following the birth from above. Nothing pertaining to man's eternal salvation (based entirely upon that which Christ has done) can come into view at this judgment, for God has already judged sin in the person of His Son at Calvary. And God is satisfied wiith His Son's finished work.

"Thus, all judgment relative to eternal salvation is past and can never again be brought up as an issue. 'He that believeth on him [Christ] is not condemned [Gk. krino, lit., 'is not judged,' i.e., the one who has believed on Christ can never be brought into judgment {for judgment has already occurred}]. . .' (John 3:18a).

"And this is what bothers some Christians about thoughts surrounding the judgment seat of Christ. Scriptures such as John 3:18 clearly state that no Christian can ever be brought into judgment. Yet, Scriptures such as ll Cor. 5:10 -- 'For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ . . . ' -- also clearly state that judgment awaits all Christians.

"This can become quite confusing unless one recognizes that two entirely different matters are being dealt with. One has to do with God's judgment upon sin, based upon His Son's finished work at Calvary, which pertains to man's eternal salvation. The other has to do with God's subsequent judgment upon His household servants relative to their faithfulness or unfaithfulness as servants in the Lord's house, with the Messianic Era in view.

"The former judgment has to do with unsaved man and eternal verities; the latter judgment has to do with saved man and millennial verities. And the difference between the two could be compared to the distance between the east and the west. It is only because of the former that the latter can occur; and the latter can have nothing to do with the former in the sense of nullifying, adding to, taking from, etc.

"The two are completely separate in this respect. Once a person has believed on the Lord Jesus Christ -- has passed 'from death unto life' -- that individual comes into an entirely new relationship with God. He is born from above, becomes part of the family of God; and he then finds himself among household servants, who are being dealt with accordingly.

"Following the birth from above, God deals with an individual on an entirely different plane -- as a household servant, with a view to the Messianic Era lying out ahead. The individual is never again dealt with (during this or future time, or at a future judgment) on the basis of that which is past -- Christ's finished work, effecting his eternal salvation.

"And this fact alone should put to rest any thought that saved man could ever one day become unsaved, lost. How could he? Such would be impossible, for God never deals with saved man in this respect (and this is all aside from the fact that man's salvation is not based on anything which he has done to begin with, but on that which Christ alone has done).

"But that which numerous Christians fail to recognize is the fact that they are directly responsible, as household servants, to the One Who sent His Son to die in their stead. And, as household servants, they will one day stand before their Saviour (to Whom God has committed all judgment) to give an account relative to faithfulness or unfaithfulness in the Lord's house.

"The judgment seat of Christ will be operable in this realm alone, and decisions and determinations emanating from findings at the judgment seat will result in two things: 1) reward on the one hand, or 2) loss on the other. And both will have to do with the Messianic Era, not with eternal life.

"And within both there will be a just recompense (Heb. 2:2; 11:26) -- receiving exactly what an individual deserves, receiving wages exactly commensurate with the person's faithfulness or unfaithfulness as a servant in the Lord's house (cf. Luke 12:42-46)."...Your brother in Christ

Yes, to me, to be cut off and appointed his portion of the Tribulation is a case of punishment. The believer cannot go to hell, but he can be treated as a wise virgin or a foolish virgin. The wise virgin gets to escape the Tribulation. He will be caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture. The foolish virgin is assigned "his portion" (of the Tribulation) with the unbelievers. He will be caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Wrath Rapture just before the wrath of God is poured out on unbelievers.

In Luke 21:36, Jesus said, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Our old sins are wiped off the books when we accept Christ. Sins committed after that need to be confessed to God. I John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Then, we are wise virgins, worthy to escape the Tribulation.

Mt 24:51 says, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."

Mt 22:11-14 gives more details. It says, "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment (i.e., a foolish virgin, a lukewarm Laodicean to be spewed out of Christ's mouth; Rev. 3:16): And he saith unto him, Friend (i.e., not the Bride), how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless (he thought he had it made). Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness (i.e., outside the door darkness, this door is a symbol of the Pre-Trib Rapture; Rev. 3:8); THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN."

The setting of Rev 17:14 is at the time when the Pre-Trib Rapture has just taken place. It says, "he (Christ) is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL" (i.e., wise virgins).

At this time, the 10 kings "have received NO kingdom as yet" (Rev. 17:12). They are crowned as the Tribulation begins (Rev. 13:1,2), so it seems that there is a short period of time between the Rapture and the Tribulation. I think the Rapture will probably take place on Nisan 21 (April 15, 2009), the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, and the Tribulation will start on May 29, 2009, Pentecost. The second Rapture will probably be on the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 14, 2015. There are 2300 days (Dan. 8:13,14), counted by inclusive reckoning where the first date is counted as number one, between Pentecost 2009, and the Feast of Trumpets 2015.

Wise virgins sing the NEW SONG after the Pre-Trib Rapture. The foolish virgins do not get to sing the NEW SONG after the Pre-Wrath Rapture, but the 144,000 Israelites will sing the NEW SONG after the Pre-Wrath Rapture.

Rev. 14:3-5 says, "And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God." Agape

Incoming e-mail

...I sent you an email concerning the book of Revelation. I was sure hoping you might comment on my logic.
In the 6th trumpet, the two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days, and then the beast kills them.
In the 7th trumpet, the woman flees to the wilderness for 1260 days, and the beast continues for 42 months.
(I think that the woman and the beast run concurrently)
My point is that these two events – 6th trumpet and 7th trumpet - add up to 7 years (if they run sequentially – I think they do).

That means that the two witnesses must start their prophesy at, or VERY near the beginning of the tribulation.

If we are still in agreement, then I ask that you look at the following:
Something else that happens when the 6th trumpet is blown is that the command is given to “Loose the 4 angels which are bound in the
Euphrates – prepared for an hour, day, month, year to slay 1/3 of men”
If a day is 1 day, and month is 30 days, and a year is 360 days, then they are prepared for 391 days (and an hour).
So while the 6th trumpet must happen very near the beginning of the tribulation, these 4 angels have already been preparing for 391 days.
Did I go wrong somewhere with my logic – or could the 4 angels be preparing at this very moment?
391 days preparing, then the 6th trumpet (1260 days), then the 7th trumpet (another 1260 days).

I didn't hear from you - I just figured you get a LOT of emails.

Take care, look forward to hearing from you.

Re: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ"

> > In the 6th trumpet, the two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days, and then the beast kills them. In the 7th trumpet, the woman flees to the wilderness for 1260 days, and the beast continues for 42 months.

The way I understand it, the two witnesses prophesy during the first half of the 7-year Tribulaion. They are killed Mid-Trib and are resurrected and ascend to Heaven 3.5 days later. At Mid-Trib, the Israelites are to flee to the wilderness and Petra for the last half of the 7-year Tribulation. However those 1260 days will be shortened to 1040. The Shortened Tribulation is 2300 days, probably from Pentecost, May 29, 2009, to the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 14, 2015, using Jewish inclusive reckoning, because it is a block of time, not running time.

I think the 7 trumpet judgments all take place on one day, the Day of the Lord, which is also the Day of God's Wrath, the Feast of Trumpets in 2015. Rev 1:19 gives us the first statement about how the miracle play "The Revelation of Jesus Christ is organized. It says, Write the things which thou hast seen (i.e., before the Pre-Trib Rapture), and the things which are (at the time of the Rapture), and the things which shall be hereafter (after the Rapture)".

Before the Rapture, we find Jesus' messages to the 7 churches.

Then Rev. 4:1 says, "AFTER THIS I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (the Pre-Trib Rapture), and I will shew thee things which must be HEREAFTER (i.e., after the Rapture).

We are not told that the script of this play applying to hereafter the Rapture is organized using circle clocks, but it fits, and makes it easier to picture. Draw a large circle. In it, draw 6 circles around a 7th circle in the middle. Label the outer ring of circles Seal 1 through 6. The 7th is the 7th seal, but don't label it inside the 7th circle.

Inside that center circle, draw another smaller circle clock. These 7 circles are the 7 trumpet judgments that come out of the 7th seal.

Inside that 7th trumpet center circle, draw another small circle clock. These 7 circles are 7 vials of God's Wrath that come out of the 7th trumpet..

In other words, the 7 trumpet judgments come out of the 7th seal, and the 7 vials of God's wrath come out of the 7th trumpet.

This play deals with a lot of sevens. The 7 seals stand for 7 years. The 7 trumpet judgments all take place on one day, the Day of God's Wrath. The vials of God's wrath sum up the damage over the 7 months between the Day of God's Wrath and the Second Advent.

Look at Rev. 8:1,2. There, it is easy to see that the 7 trumpets come out of the 7th seal. It says, "And when he had opened the SEVENTH SEAL, there was SILENCE IN HEAVEN about the space of half an hour. And I saw the SEVEN ANGELS which stood before God; and TO THEM WERE GIVEN SEVEN TRUMPETS." The silence in both Heaven and Earth are to show respect to the Judge while he is being seated at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Hab 2:20 says, "But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the EARTH KEEP SILENCE before him."

In Rev. 8, a censer represents the asteroid that will hit Earth on the Day of God's Wrath. Rev 8:5,6 says, "And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the SEVEN ANGELS which had the SEVEN TRUMPETS prepared themselves to sound." All the things that the trumpets represent happen in quick succession when the 2 asteroid pieces of Rev. 8:8-11 hit Earth.

Satan's asteroid is called Wormwood (Rev. 8:11). It seems that it will split apart at the Roche Limit, about 11,000 miles out. The mountain-sized piece will hit the Mediterranean Sea. The larger piece called an aster in Greek will obliterate Babylon III.

Isa. 22:16-21 says, "What hast thou here? (Babylon III) and whom hast thou here (the False Prophet, the final Antichrist), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and THAT GRAVETH AN HABITATION FOR HIMSELF IN A ROCK? Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. HE WILL SURELY VIOLENTLY TURN AND TOSS THEE LIKE A BALL into a large country (Babylon III, in Iraq, not tiny Israel): there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down."

Rev. 18:21 says, "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all." Babylon I was ruled by Nimrod at Babel. Babylon II was ruled by Nebuchadnezzar. Babylon III will be ruled by the False Prophet.

When the asteroid pieces impact Earth, every wall will fall (Eze. 38:20), the towers will fall, the cities will be in shambles, there will be huge tsunamis, and all countries of the world will become kingdoms of Christ. He is the only one that can bring order out of that chaos.

The globe will be knocked upside down. Isa 30:25 says, "And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when THE TOWERS FALL." Rev 11:15 says, "And the SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

> > Something else that happens when the 6th trumpet is blown is that the command is given to “Loose the 4 angels which are bound in the Euphrates – prepared for an hour, day, month, year to slay 1/3 of men” > > If a day is 1 day, and month is 30 days, and a year is 360 days, then they are prepared for 391 days (and an hour).

I take that to be a certain hour in a certain day in a certain month in a certain year (I think Tishri 1, 5776 (Sept. 14, 2015) the Feast of Trumpets.

> > So while the 6th trumpet must happen very near the beginning of the tribulation, these 4 angels have already been preparing for 391 days.

I think all the trumpets will hit on the Feast of Trumpets in 2015.

Incoming e-mail, Re: Israel

I support Netanyahu all the way. I hope he wins the election.

With the status of Jerusalem at the center of the upcoming Israeli elections, the evidence is strong that the End Times scenario for the holy city is moving very close to being fulfilled.

With the candidates for PM in the upcoming elections in Israel vying for every vote, the statement by a former PM, Benjamin Netanyahu, that if elected, he will not divide Jerusalem, the body politic of Israel must now decide if Jerusalem is indeed the major issue in this election. Another candidate for PM, the present FM, Tzipi Livni has been negotiating with the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Palestinian negotiator told the US Middle East Peace Envoy George Mitchell that Livni is ready to give a portion of Jerusalem for a Palestinian capital city.

The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2,500 years ago that Jerusalem would be intoxicating to those who control it, a cup of trembling, Zechariah 12:2. The prophet also said it would be a heavy weight, a "burdensom stone" for those who wanted to control Jerusalem, Zechariah 12:3. Jesus told Zechariah that He would come back to Jerusalem and build a Temple there, Zechariah 1:16.

It does not really matter who the next PM of Israel is, Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

My reply

It sounds like Netanyahu has a good chance. They will part the land. Joel 3:2 says, "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and PARTED MY LAND."

Peres is president, and Dan 5:28 says, "PERES; Thy kingdom is divided". Agape

Thank you so much for your time and patience, since I am not so educated for me all this feels so difficult to grasp, so I am very thankful for you taking time in helping me.

I enjoy reading all this, but I fail to understand

According to a page I saw earlier you have at earlier points predicted the end of everything to occur at the following dates

31 may 1998...14 sep 2015

How come the date has been changed so many times?

May god bless you and take care of you and your family. Halleluja Marilyn! Sincerely

My reply

> > According to a page I saw earlier you have at earlier points predicted the end of everything to occur at the following dates

I don't predict anything. Only prophets can predict. I am not a prophet. I am just studying the Bible as hard as I can go and trying to figure out when the Pre-Trib Rapture will take place.

> > How come the date has been changed so many times?

When we pass a certain date, it is obvious that that particular date is wrong. No one has figured it out so far. I think to myself, "OK, then what else looks possible?" I start to look for other clues. The Rapture is our blessed hope, and trying to figure out when it will take place keeps hope alive.

Titus 2:11-13 tells us how we should live. It says, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; LOOKING FOR THAT BLESSED HOPE, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ".

I am always "looking for that blessed hope". I am optimistic. I don't give up, because in Mark 13:23, Jesus said, "take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you ALL THINGS." All the clues are there in the Bible. Dan. 12:10 says, "none of the wicked shall understand; but THE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND."

It is like a jigsaw puzzle. The more pieces we are able to put together, the clearer the picture becomes. As time eliminates some guesses, we have a better chance of seeing the final picture correctly.

May God bless you richly as you seek to understand. Agape
