...I compliment you on your thoroughness in your research. Very impressive! I enjoyed your Pro & Con Section and find your answers to your "adversaries" very kind & loving. In all things we must remember that some are chosen for the Rapture & some for the tribulation. The ones "against" you now, might be the strong ones for Christ our Lord, during the tribulation.

I feel that all we can do is plant the seeds. God needs to water them and make them grow. Something that HE WILL DO IN His time, not ours....

l. Is Jerusalem 12 hrs ahead for our West Coast?
2. What will you be doing when the Rapture comes?...
3. If the flood destroyed all, except Noah & his family, where did giants like Og & Goliath come from?

God has sent me 2 visions. In one I was tested and in another comforted.

He also spoke to my mind on several occassions. In the fall of '96 He told me to "Expect the Lord"

Concerning important decisions or questions, I always "put out a fleece." According to your Rapture date, I asked for the disappearance of a huge object. 2 months later, within a 12 hr period, it disappeared and left no trace. Only God's hand could have accomplished this. I am still overwhelmed. At the time, I felt somewhat uneasy about asking for an answer to a specific date and I attributed this feeling to the time zones involved worldwide. Now I have...big questions. I feel that only you will be able to find a flaw in my reasoning.

When Christ ascended, 40 days after His resurrection, (Matt 27:52) he told His disciples He would send a Comforter (the Holy Spirit) who, 10 days later (on Pentecost) descended, seen as tongues of flame.

If my math is correct, the day that He ascended falls on the same day of the week that He died. i.e. He died - physically
He ascended - translated spiritually.

Also, He died Thursday was resurrected Sunday, walked amongst us 40 days then ascended on Thursday (counting from Sunday) Could not His ascension and Him being a "type of firstfruit" be Rapture I? (Taken the "Restrainer" out of this world at that time (Rapture I) the Holy Spirit did not come for 10 days, being synonomous with 10 yrs of Tribulation. Then after 10 yrs coming down like flames of fire at Rapture II? Why would Rapture I be on Pentecost? The Holy Spirit is already here, it now needs to be taken out (ascend) so that evil can do his thing. In Rapture II it will come on Pentecost.

Ruth & Boaz represent the marriage of Jesus & the Bride, but that also can not happen until Rapture II. Enoch walked with God and was not. They looked but couldn't find him. Rapture I, but nobody sees.

Elijah was taken up in a chariot of fire & many saw. Rapture II, fire out of the sky (i.e.tongues of flame as on Pentecost) and many believed. Since all saints are taken up and all evil people destroyed, who is left to repopulate the earth...

I think the "day of the Lord" does not necessarily refer to Sunday, but to His 2nd Coming, which for us is spread out over 10 yrs....So to me, the day of the Lord is when Rapture I occurs all through when He actually arrives....

My reply

Thanks for your letter. In the last part of the following quote from it, you may have just hit the nail on the head. I hope the ones left behind see the Rapture take place and receive a double portion of the Holy Spirit to prepare them for the days ahead.

"I compliment you on your thoroughness in your research.

"I keep this thought in mind whenever I give out your book, recommend your book or talk about it."

I think Jerusalem is 12 hours ahead of us. (It is NOT. See email on down on this page for the correct time.) I got out my travel clock, but the battery has run down. Next time I get to the library, I'll find out for sure. If it is different, I'll let you know.

I can't be certain what I'll be doing when the Rapture comes, but would like to stay up all night and be showing someone what I think the prophecies mean.

The giants after the Flood were angel/man hybrids as before the Flood. Genesis 6:4 says, "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that."

That is neat that in the fall of "96, the Lord told you to "Expect the Lord." A friend of mine heard, "You will never die." A correspondent heard something like I'm coming in your lifetime.

Goodness, what kind of large object disappeared? I have never heard of something like this.

Now for your question about could the Rapture take place on the anniversary of Jesus' ascension. Of course, anything is possible, but we need to look at it closely to see if it is probable.

The first thing that comes to mind is that Ascension day was not one of the seven feasts, appointment days, rehearsal days. Pentecost was one of the days they had to go up to Jerusalem.

The Ascension was on the 40th day following the Resurrection. If that was the type, don't you think the Rapture would have taken place in 1988? The ten days could represent the ten years between 1988 and 1998. There was no terrible tribulation recorded during those ten days, was there?

You said, "Could not His ascension and Him being a "type of firstfruit" be Rapture I?" He is The Firstfruit, the Head of the Body of Christ. Rom. 8:29 says, "that he might be the firstborn among MANY brethren." We are a "a kind of firstfruit of his creatures" (James 1:18), the" first of the firstfruits" (i.e., the 'many') to be brought into the house of the Lord on Pentecost, the "feast of harvest" (Ex. 23:16,19). We are called wheat, and Pentecost is the wheat harvest.

Christ will send the angels to gather the Tribulation saints at Rapture II. "An then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven" (Mark 13:27). This will be on the Feast of Trumpets, not Pentecost.

Boaz chose Ruth as his bride at the season of Pentecost. Their marriage was a bit later on.

I think people will see Rapture I take place. Psa. 40:1-3 says, "I WAITED patiently (as the Philadelphians do, Rev. 3:10) for the LORD; and he inclined (bent down) unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit (as Jeremiah acted out), out of the miry clay (out of our bodies of clay), and set my feet upon a rock (Heaven), and established my goings (the Rapture). And he hath put a new song (sung after the Rapture, Rev. 5:9) in my mouth, even praise unto our God (Rev. 5:12,13): MANY SHALL SEE IT (the Rapture), and fear, and shall trust in the LORD."

Elijah was taken up in a chariot of fire, and fire will fall the same day as Rapture II.

As to who will be left to go on into the Millennium, those that are born that day, after Rapture II takes place (Isa. 66:8 says, "shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children") and the "sheep" of whom Jesus said, "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom" (Mt. 25:34).

The Day of the Lord is the Millennium. A different term is used in Rev. 1:10. It is "the Lord's day," Sunday, the day of Jesus' resurrection and, I think, the day of resurrection for the Church saints that are asleep in Jesus. It is the same as one of "the days of the Son of man" of Luke 17:22, 26.

As I understand, you have said that going in the first rapture is one of the Lord's rewards, not a question of salvation. Also you have said that we must have our garments clean to be able to participate in this rapture, and that to get and keep our garments clean, we should use 1 John 1:9 and confess our known sins so that He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In all sin, there is a period of time from the sin to repentance. What if the rapture occurs during this time period? You've said that you try to repent as soon as you realize that you have sinned. I do too. But there is still a period of time between the two. To ask the question another way, how confident are you that you will go in the first rapture, that you won't be caught having sinned five minutes before and not having repented just yet, even if you do know the correct date? In this world, I can't believe anyone keeps their garments clean 100% of the time.

If I am concerned about going in the first rapture, and I try to constantly keep confession updated, using 1 John 1:9, my eyes are always on the sin in my life, instead of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life. I am now back under the law. The blessed hope becomes the blessed wish.

I feel something is not quite accurate about the heavy use of 1 John 1:9 in making sure we are ready at the first rapture and the confidence of going at that time. The message I'm getting is we can't be sure, but we should try. Knowing what we know about the tribulation period, this is a scary message.

On another note, thank you so much for your web page. It is a huge page with a wealth of information. You have a tremendous ministry, and I hope you remove absolutely nothing from it. I refer back to various parts of your page from time to time and give out your address when I find interested people. The pro and con forum is an excellent way of trading information and seeing bits and pieces of truth in new ways and most importantly, bouncing it off of scripture. Thank you again.

My reply

You said, "If I am concerned about going in the first rapture, and I try to constantly keep confession updated, using 1 John 1:9, my eyes are always on the sin in my life, instead of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life. I am now back under the law."

I can't see how this puts us back under the law. We are trusting Christ, not the law. Also, the church of Ephesus is told "repent." The church in Pergamos is told "Repent." The church in Thyatira is given "space to repent." The church in Sardis is told "repent." The church of the Laodiceans is told "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

Certainly no one avoids sin. First John 1:8 says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." This is why we have to have a way to let Jesus wash our feet as he did Peter's. In John 13:8, Jesus told Peter, "If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." This is why the Tribulation saints have "washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Rev. 7:14) by the time they are seen in Heaven.

We are not told in Scripture how much oil of the Holy Spirit we have to have in our lamps. All we can do is try our best to obey the scriptures that say to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and the Lord will be the judge. We do know that one of his attributes is perfect justice. He is fair.

II Peter 1:1-10 tells us how we Christians can make our calling and election sure:

"SIMON Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ...his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that BY THESE YE MIGHT BE PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith VIRTUE; and to virtue KNOWLEDGE; And to knowledge TEMPERANCE; and to temperance PATIENCE; and to patience GODLINESS; And to godliness BROTHERLY KINDNESS (the meaning of Philadelphia); and to brotherly kindness CHARITY (agape love). For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind (like the Laodiceans), and cannot see afar off (i.e., Heaven), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his OLD sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for IF YE DO THESE THINGS, YE SHALL NEVER FALL: For so an entrance (the Rapture) shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

If you go to World Time Zones on the Internet you will find that Pacific time, your time, is 10 hrs. earlier than Israel, therefore on May 31, 1998, you should look for the Rapture from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (8:00 p.m. coincides with 6:00 a.m. Israeli time. I figure that is the latest time one could see the morning star in the Israeli skies).
(For a correction to this information, see her next incoming email, following my reply to this.)

I have studied bible prophecy since I was in high school. I am now 63. My library is quite large. About last November I began to feel a sense of urgency and began studying once again. I began to feel as though the time was very near. I realized I would never figure this out until I went to Isaeli history, mainly their feast days and their calendar. Of course, why did it take me so long! From the beginning of time God was orderly and deliberate. Certainly he wouldn't leave the end times just dangling out there somewhere. He told Israel when to celebrate their feast days and not to abandon them. He gave us a pathway to follow but those of us who have not been schooled in Israeli feast days had not considered them as a part of our "religious culture". What a mistake. I have been fretting for weeks, ordered an Israeli calendar and other books from Israel. They are not here yet, but I found your web page yesterday! You have spelled it out so well. Thank you and do not remove anything from your page. I have to buy a printer so I can copy some of your pages and pass them around to my family and friends. I pray for Israel and all those who have not yet received Christ as their savior. There is so little time. Even so, Lord Jesus, Come Quickly.

My reply

Thanks for this information.

Strange, but two emails that came in at the same time said not to remove anything from my Web page, and no one ever said that before. I guess I had better not remove anything.

Here, we can take a floppy disk to Kinkos and they can print out copies from that. If something similar is available where you are, you might not have to buy a printer.

I made a mistake, forgot to consider Israeli day starting at 6:00 p.m. It seems nothing dealing with Israel is simple. I have calculated all U.S. time zones using Universal Time, adjusting for daylight saving time in those zones who have it, as well at the Israeli day starting at 6:00 p.m. On the following chart any time listed before 6:00 p.m. (all of them), falls on May 30. Example: Israeli day May 31 May 30 / 6:00 p.m. 7 8 9 10 11 12midnt

Eastern time zone - back up 7 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 5:00 p.m., May 30.

Central time zone - back up 8 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 4:00 p.m., May 30.

Indiana East - same as Central

Mountain time zone - back up 9 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 3:00 p.m., May 30.

Arizona - back up 10 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 2:00 p.m.,May 30.

Pacific time zone - back up 10 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 2:00 p.m., May 30.

Alaska - back up 11 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 1:00 p.m., May 30.

Aleutians - back up 13 hrs. from midnight. Midnight in Israel is 11:00 a.m., May 30.

Hawaii - same as Aleutians.

I have now read every single word on your site. You are more long winded than I am and that is saying a lot (my husband would agree with this statement abot me.)

What a swell person you are.

Dear Marilyn, About your capital letters. I had experiences such as that with one word only. When I would be typing the word LORD while quoting scriptures where it was completely capitalized all I had to do was hit the shift key for a capital "L" after I let go ORD would also be capitalized. When I was typing from the Bible the word Lord, after holding down the shift key for only the "L" the rest of the word would come out ord. That was on my 486 DX2 that I gave to my former mother in law. It was eerie to me the way the computer did that. This new one doesn't do it, which I wish it would. I never did anything to make it do that. It just always happened. It would not do that for any other word except LORD, according to the way it appeared in the Bible quote which I was typing out myself, not copying from a computerized version. Therefore it is not hard for me to believe that the Lord causes your caps to appear on selected occasions. He is, after all, the omnicient, omnipotent God of all creation, and I'm convinced that he also can control computers.

...I have been reading through your Internet site and I wanted to propose some initial questions that linger in my mind at this point.

1. You place some emphasis on a 5bc birth for Christ. Once you read Avi Ben Mordicai's book, "A Sign in the Heavens", I would wonder how you would refute his analysis of a 3BC birth? It (5bc) just doesn't seem to link properly with other historical and astronomical "proofs".

2. You also place some emphasis on a Sunday Rapture date. I have always acknowledged that Pentecost is a Sunday observance based upon how you count the days. But aside from that I have never seen any proof for recognizing Sunday as the Lord's Day or the Sabbath. I have believed that Saturday is the seventh day of the week and the day to keep holy under the Old Covenant. It was also my belief based upon a 3bc birth date for Christ that he was crucified on a Wednesday and was risen after 3 days and nights in the grave. Christianity's traditional explanation for a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday resurrection cannot satisfy the 3 days and nights (also the example of Jonah and the Whale). I have not seen convincing evidence that God now acknowledges the first day of the week, the day of the sun, as his day. This would seem to contradict that He was trying to remove the influence of the sun and the ancient religions that glorified it by having Israel's calendar based upon the moon. Comments?
I wish I could afford to buy Avi Ben Mordechai's book, "Signs in the Heaven," but I just don't see how I could manage it. However, a friend gave me Ernest L. Martin's "The Star that Astonished the World." Maybe some of the astronomical information is the same.

It is hard for me to see how ANY natural astronomical event could lead the wise men to Bethlehem. Stars do not move enough to be detected in one man's lifetime. The planets move, but slowly. His star, Heaven, moves slowest of all. Jupiter does not lead one to Bethlehem. All planets follow the ecliptic. A conjuction between Saturn and Mercury on May 19, 3 B.C. and Saturn with Venus on June 12, 3 B.C., or one between Jupiter and Venus on Aug 12, 3 B.C., do not lead one to Bethlehem either.

Mt. 2:9 says, "lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was." It seems to me that it was a miraculous event, not a natural one. If the Spirit of God came down on Pentecost like flames of fire, and appeared as fire, the Shechinah visible divine presence, over the Tabernacle in the wilderness, he could come down as visible light and lead the wise men to Bethlehem and stand over the manger. It would be very fitting. Jesus said he was the light of the world, and the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ are one and the same. This babe was "Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us" (Mt. 1:23).

Here is the quote Greg Alston had in "The Prophecy Post" (Apr. 96) from "Signs in the Heaven: A Jewish Messianic Perspective of the Last Days & Coming Millennium," by Avi Ben Mordechai (pg 249,283), that I do not agree with:

"...the tribulation will share the same 'day' as the millennium, not [be] separated from it. It is not 1,007 years.' The fact that the Day of the Lord is 1,000 years long is found in the Tanakh, the Talmud, the Midrash, the Book of Enoch, the Book of Yasher and the B'rit Chadashah. The rapture will not - and I say definitely - will not happen seven years before the start of the Millennium. It must happen at the very beginning of the Millennium. It establishes the millennium. And everything in Jewish eschatology taught from Adam to Mosheh to Yeshayahu (Isaiah) to Y'shua to Sha'ul (Paul) confirms this."

Evidently, he failed to read Malachi 4:5, which says, "I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." The Millennium cannot come until after Elijah comes, and that is at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel. He is killed in the middle of the Tribulation when the then Satan possessed False Prophet sits in the temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess 2:4).

I wish I could think Jesus was born Sept. 11, B.C. 3, as Ernest L. Martin explains. Sept. 11 was my dad's birthday and the Age of the Church started in B.C. 3. It would be so fitting. However, I have not been able to reconcile this date with the Scriptures.

The reason I mention my dad's birthday is because my son's birthday falls on Apr. 6, the date on our calendar of both the Crucifixion and Second Coming. I tried to make him be born the week before on my husband's birthday, dug post holes and built a fence around our front yard, but the Lord had other plans. Then, after he was born, I looked at this almost 10 lb. baby and could not name him Brian, the only name we had picked. He was big, had a thick shock of dark hair nearly 2" long standing straight up on his head, and was strong, could raise his head like a turtle and even turn himself over. Brian seemed to fit the helpless little baby I expected, not my "football player," as the nurses called him. David crossed my mind. I asked my husband, and David it was, a complete surprise to us both as we had not even considered David as a possible name.

It was 15 or 16 years later, when I found out when the Crucifixion and Second Advent of the Son of David was, that it hit me why our David was born on Apr. 6, the day after Easter, instead of on Mar. 29, as I had wished.

That is not important, but this is what we need to reconcile:

The temple was begun in B.C. 19, 4024 A.H.(counted from Adam's creation). It was 46 years in building. Thus it was finished in 26 A.D., 4068 A.H., the same year that Jesus began to be about 30 years of age. This was the 15th year of Tiberius, who began to reign as Co-Rex with Augustus Jan. 16, 12 A.D., 4054 A.H. He was practically the sole monarch over Syria and Palestine from then on. Augustus concerned himself with other parts of the Empire. There were four Passovers of Jesus ministry, and the Crucifixion was Thursday, Apr. 6, 30 A.D., 4072 A.H., on the Preparation for the Passover. (His coronation in Heaven at the beginning of the Millennium also falls on Thursday.) He died as the Passover lambs were being slain at the temple. A.D. 30 was 483 years after "the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem" was given by Cyrus in 454 B.C., 3589 A.H. (Dan. 9:24-26; Isa. 44:28; 45:13). (Martin Anstey found that Plolemy's chronology errs by 82 years. See his Romance of Bible Chronology.) It was also 40 years before the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 A.D., indicated in Ezekiel 4:6,7). It also fit the meaning of the number 40, testing and probation.

If you can figure out how to compress this by 2 years, please let me know. I would like to be convinced.

The Sabbath is, was, and as far as I can tell, always will be Saturday. It is a sign between the Lord and the Jews. The Day of the Lord is the Millennium.

However, the "the Lord's day" in Rev. 1:10, is Sunday, the same day as the Resurrection. Malachi 4:2 says, "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall." Christ is this "Sun of righteousness." At the transfiguration, "his face did shine as the sun" (Mt. 17:2). At the Rapture, "his countenance was as the sun" (Rev. 1:16).

This is why Satan set up a counterfeit Sun god, to confuse mankind. He was called many names after the confusion of languages at the Tower of Babel, but Tammuz was the original set up at the Tower of Babel, the original "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Tammuz and Semiramis were worshipped as madonna and child. Semiramis said that the light brown haired Tammuz was killed by a wild boar and was brought back to life. His birthday was Dec. 25. Evergreen trees were used in celebrating his birthday. Easter was celebrated with eggs.

According to Song of Solomon 5:11, a symbolic description of Jesus, "His head is as the most fine gold (symbol of deity), his locks are bushy, and black as a raven." Black hair makes more sense than light brown hair for a Jewish man. Looks like Rembrandt got it right in his painting.

Not only does Scripture indicate that Jesus was not crucified on the Passover (Mark 14:2, "Not on the feast day"), ancient Jewish writings say, "On the eve of Pesah they hung Jeshu." According to the Talmudic Jewish Calendar rules, Nisan 13 can only fall on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. This makes Wednesday an unlikely Crucifixion Day.

Israel's calendar is luni-solar. It has leap years inserted to keep it in step with the seasons, which are set by the sun. Gen. 1:14 (KJV) says, "Let there be lights (i.e., sun and moon) in the firmament (expanse of space) of the heaven (literally heavens) to divide the day from the night; and let THEM (i.e., both sun and moon) be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and YEARS."

Green's Interlinear says, "Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night. And let them be (for) signs and for seasons, and for days and years."

Incoming mail, Re: Decision Time: Can You Give Up This World?

The message to the Church in Laodicea: "So because you are luke-warm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My Mouth. Because you say, 'I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,' and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see."

I believe the main message here is that in a split instant we are going to have to decide whether we can give up what we have here to take what is there. Remember Mark 10:25: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Ever wonder about that? Well, what happens when a believer hears, "Come up hither!". The choice has to be made in an instant. Unless one has ALREADY decided that he/she is PREPARED to leave this world I expect the following scenes to take place:

"Now? but I want to see what my small children will grow up to be" (careers,etc.).

"WAIT!, what about my stocks, bonds, cash, jewelry, my Mercedes, my Jaguar, my new Sport Utility Vehicle, my house, my new cherry wood dining room suite?"

"BUT I'm not ready, I want to become more perfect."

"BUT I've got this big deal to close tomorrow."

"BUT my daughter is going to be married tomorrow."

If you let those things flash through your mind, it will be too late, you will be left. The richer you are the more difficulty you may have to let it go.

That, I believe, is the message to this church. Unless you are ALREADY prepared to say YES, you are likely to hesitate and be left on this earth to go through the tribulation until your next chance comes.

Think about that, there will be no rain for three and one half years. We have rivers because rain falls in the north in the form of snow. In the spring that snow thaws, flows toward the sea and we have rivers. Within a short period of time, perhaps one year, you will have no more water, the rivers will have begun to run dry.

The Mercedes won't help grow food for you or give you a drink.

My reply

I know I want to go; the sooner the better. There is nothing here I want. I just hope all our relatives go too. I don't want any of them to have to go through the Tribulation. It will be the worst seven years since Adam was put on this Earth.

I would hate to be in the situation described in Song of Soloman 5:2f. It says, "I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him. I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer."

Jesus has given us the chance to accept him as our Saviour. To those who do, he will save our soul from death and give us eternal life. And "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

If we are as wise virgins with our lamps full of oil of the Holy Spirit amd burning brightly, Jesus has also given us the chance to be kept from the Tribulation (Rev. 3:10). He will save us from that also. I want to leave here in that group that is caught up to Heaven Pre-Trib, not "when the virgins were (are) gathered together THE SECOND TIME" (Esther 2:19).

Incoming mail, Re: What happens to the young?

I recently finished your book "The End of the Age" and was deeply touched by what you had to say. I truly do believe the Rapture is upon us, and thusly I have read many books concerning this topic as of late and found yours in particular to be the most insightful. My question to you may seem somewhat unintellectual, but I myself cannot answer it:

What happens to infants who are just born or for that matter, more relating to me, what happens to our pets that we care for so much when the Rapture occurs?

I wouldn't what my cat stuck here on Earth while my family and I are gone up to heaven. Again, I know this question seems elementary, but I would appreciate any light you could shed on this matter.

One more thing: something I have noticed is that most people are too grounded into the physical world to realize what a fantastic event is upon us. It's like you'll tell someone about what is to come, they'll pay you some token attention, and then quickly return to paying their bills, watching the television, or going on their computer. Even my mother, who is deeply religious, blows me off when I tell her about the Rapture. What can be done to help these people understand?

My reply

I appreciate your kind remarks about my book. It represents a large portion of my life. It took 23 years to write (was rewritten seven times) besides the years of study that preceded it. I kept learning new things all along. It was a learning process. My husband said that he would like to see it finished in his lifetime and finally got me a computer so it could be revised right up to the day it went to the printer.

Wish I had all the answers, but I only have some. Concerning infants and children under the age of accountability, I think that they will all go to Heaven in the first Rapture if the parents are being caught up at that time. Acts 16:30,31 says, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." The first Rapture is as the days of Noah, and Noah and his family went into the Ark.

But look at the difference with Lot. Rapture 2 is as the days of Lot. Not all of Lot's family left Sodom with him, and his wife looked back and became a pillar of salt, or mineral salts.

Concerning animals, I don't know. The Lord will take care of them somehow. Doesn't he take care of the ones in the wild?. Don't look back because you are worried about the animals. Trust the Lord to take care of that detail.

You are right that some people are grounded in the physical world. I have no pat answers on what to tell them to wake them up. Every case is different. Pray that the Lord will speak to their hearts, and tell them what the Lord leads you to say.

I try to alert people that the Rapture may been soon and that they would not want to be left behind to go through the Tribulation. Some need to realize that the Bride of Christ will be caught up and that the Laodiceans will be left behind for chastening during the Tribulation. Others need to be reminded that only the wise virgins will be chosen as the Bride of Christ, and that they should have plenty of the oil of the Holy Spirit. To be filled with the Holy Spirit, we need to use I John 1:9 and confess all our known sins so the Lord can cleanse us of "all unrighteousness."

I pray that you will find the right words.

Incoming mail, Re: The Bible Codes

A friend told me about your website and I find it fascinating. What I'm interested is if you've read "The Bible Code" yet, and what you think of this? Do you think it's the "sealed book" to be opened at the end times that Daniel talked about? This book is awesome and I'd love to hear what you think about it. I got so excited when I read it and then read "The Signature of God" which also talks about this hidden code in the Bible.

...My sons says heaven is on the planet Venus.

My reply

I am glad you find my website fascinating.

Yes, I have read "The Bible Code." I found it very interesting, especially the page that has "asteroid," "it will hit Rahab," etc. on it. Rahab was Satan's planet that split into pieces and formed our Asteroid Belt. Rahab was also the name of the harlot at Jericho.

The reason that page stood out for me is that an asteroid, a piece of the former planet Rahab, will hit Babylon at noon the first day of the Millennium. At that time, Babylon will be the home of "MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS" (Rev. 17:5).

I understand equidistant letter spacing. I know that Yakov Rambsel researched the Hebrew Old Testament for ELS, counting the letters by hand. Then the search was later made using computers. That much makes sense to me and seems to stand up to scrutiny by others.

However, I do not fully understand how they set up the Hebrew scriptures to do the words that come out lined up vertically and at an angle in "The Bible Codes." I wish someone would explain that to me. I read the book quickly and loaned it to the family to pass around, so I can't at this time go back and reread it. I remember something about lining up the letters as if spiraling around a drum, but wouldn't the size of the drum change the arrangement?

I have not read Grant Jeffrey's book "The Signature of God," but I have read what is posted about it on the Internet. There, I found that he said,

"Recently, researchers in Israel discovered a staggering phenomena of hidden codes beneath the Hebrew text of the Old Testament that reveal an astonishing knowledge of future events and personalities that cannot be explained unless God inspired the writers to record His precise words. The material is possibly the most important evidence I will present in the book that will prove to any unprejudiced observer that the Scriptures are truly inspired by God....

"One of the most astonishing features is that the clearly Messianic passages of the Old Testament often contain the name Yeshua - Jesus - encoded beneath the text of the words of the prophecy about the coming of the Messiah Jesus....

"It would surpass the skills of any group of human writers to encode these complex and prophetic messages within the text of the Torah. Since the evidence is overwhelming that the five books of Moses were written over three-and-a-half thousand years ago we are left with the undeniable conclusion that this phenomenon is another clearly authenticated signature of God upon the pages of His message to mankind....

"This revelation of God's matchless wisdom and inspiration in this decade as we rapidly approach the new millennium reminds me of the angel's prophecy to Daniel: 'But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase....Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand' (Daniel 12:4,10). Truly, the discovery of these codes revealing the name of God's Son Yeshua, that were hidden within the text of the Bible for over three thousand years, is a fulfillment of the angel's prophecy to Daniel. Our knowledge of the Bible, its hidden code, and its divine prophecies is truly increasing at a phenomenal rate in these exciting last days as we approach the time of the Messiah's return to set up His kingdom on earth."
_________end of quoted material________

This ELS is probably part of the "knowledge shall increase," but it is not the whole thing.

Just what I have been able to find in Scripture that has not to my knowledge been understood before proves that to me. I don't think that there can be any seal on Daniel now that we are in the end times. The appearance of the Sign of the End of the Age made it possible to figure out when all the key end-time events would take place. I explained this in my book, Exit: 2007: The Secret of Secrets Revealed.

One thing that I had surmised, but not yet accepted, at that time was where Heaven is really located. That knowledge came when I was writing what turned out to be my third book, Revelations 2000 (the title given it by Avon Books; I called it The Master Key: Revelation's Secrets Revealed).

I have read the pro and cons about Bible codes that I found on the Internet. I find nothing wrong or occult about ELS. Anyone can take any writing and use it for the wrong thing. That does not effect the original. I think there is definitely something to ELS, but have not made up my mind on words that appear vertically or at an angle in "The Bible Codes." If those are authentic, I need to understand how they got the different lines aligned in just the right way so they can be read.

And, no, Heaven is not the planet Venus. It is not the third heaven any way you count it.

My heartfelt thanks to all who like my Web Site. God's wonderful blessings on you all. May we meet at the assembly in Heaven right after the Rapture.

In Christ,
