I am writing to you to thank you for your hard work that you put in on your website and to point out an error on the front page. First let me quote the scripture.

Thomas, after eight days, saw Jesus...

John 20:24-29 says, "But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was NOT with them when JESUS CAME (could this represent Rapture I, after "the rain is over and gone," Song of Solomon 2:11, in spring 1999?). The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord (after the Resurrection). But he said unto them, Except I shall SEE in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will NOT BELIEVE. And AFTER EIGHT DAYS AGAIN (1999 + 8 = 2007, year of Rapture II)...

In both of these passages it says..after eight days. The next day would be the ninth day if eight days are completed. If you use inclusive reconing in counting the days or years it still fits but the math is incorrect as stated above. In the other examples on your front page you did use inclusive reconing but not here. I'm not trying to pick on you as I love you to pieces. You are a super Bible sluthe and I feel confident that you have nailed the rapture date this time around. I'm looking for Pentecost weekend hoping you are correct. It is amazing to me that so much additional information has been uncovered in the last year. Keep up the good work. Your web site is a blessing to many.

Thanks for all those nice things you said, and for letting me know I needed to be more explicit. Here is the revision....Agape

Here is a case where the word "hemera," translated "days" might prophetically represent years. Hemera is a period of time to be understood by the context. Thomas, after eight days, saw Jesus. Both Thomas and Didymus mean "twin." Twin is emphasized. Does Thomas represent the Laodiceans that are left behind the first time, but go the second time, the latter of the twin Raptures? If so, it may give us a clue to the year of the first Rapture. To rough it out on our calendar, if the Pre-Wrath Rapture is in 2007, the year of the Pre-Trib Rapture would be in 1999 (2007 - 8 = 1999).

Using the Jewish calendar is more accurate. If we figure from the proposed Pre-Trib Rapture in 5759 (1999) to the Pre-Wrath Rapture, taking into consideration that it is "after" eight days, or years, i.e., after the ninth year begins, we end up with 5768, which is our 2007/2008 (5759 + 9 = 5768). Tishri 1, 5768 is our Sept. 13, 2007. I think it is the 2300th day of the shortened Tribulation and the day of the Pre-Wrath Rapture.

And AFTER EIGHT DAYS AGAIN (5759 + 9 = 5768, year of Rapture II) his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then CAME JESUS (representing the second Rapture?), the doors (symbol of the two Raptures, Rev. 3:8; Mt. 24:33) being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace (real peace comes in the Millennium, and Rapture II is the first day) be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and BE NOT FAITHLESS, BUT BELIEVING. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord AND my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast SEEN ME (as at Rapture II, when they see the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30), thou hast believed: blessed (i.e., our "blessed hope" of escaping the Tribulation) are they that have NOT SEEN (as at Rapture I), and yet have believed."

I tried to find Avi's book thru a local bookstore - can you give me the publisher? They could not find it. Do you know if it is still in press? Thanks

My reply

It is a Millennium 7000 Communications Int'l Publication, but email Avi at: avimarc@aol.com.

He thinks the Rapture will be in the 6001st year (maybe as early as 1999) on the Feast of Trumpets. I think 5759/1999 is the 6001st year.

He says, "Our final redemption will occur on the first day of the seventh month, on the seventh day of the week, at the beginning of the seventh millennium." Sure enough, next Tishri 1, Sept. 11, is on Sat. Tishri 1 is also on Sat. in 2000 and on Tue. in 2001. However, I think Pentecost is a better bet.

The Hebrews were to go up to Jerusalem 3 times in the year, Unleavened Bread (Old Testament saints raised), Pentecost (Bride raised) and Tabernacles, which has to do with the remnant that lives on Earth during the Millennium.

In Mt. 24:20 Jesus told his disciples, "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day." This Sivan 6 is on Friday. Eve was the bride taken out of the body of Adam on Friday. This is a good picture of the Bride of Christ being taken out of the Body of Christ on Friday. I am hoping for this Pentecost, Friday, May 21, 1999.

...my cousin...She was the one who first brought my attention to your web site and may I say what a blessing that truly was as we were too put it bluntly backsliden born again's?...we also have two small children aged two & half and thirteen months old I am also pregnant with our third child who will be due to be born on the 04/07/99 if we are still here and that is my first question but first of all I feel because you are my sister I would like to share an exciting experience with you that happened on Friday 19th March

I asked the Lord to show me what I needed to put right and would you believe that he made it as clear as crystal (of course you know how powerful HE is). When I was at work...I found that a really strange thing was starting to happen I for some reason was being made aware of all the couples that were entering the shop no more than usual but this time I was seeing the affection between them and then realised that I was now ready to be healed for my childhood and previous relationships as I knew that until I was healed I would always be keeping Trevor away and that in turn would stop me growing in Christ. It was so wonderful like suddenly after all these years of window shopping God gave me the needs to buy my hearts desires. I knew that the nail had been hit on the head as then when I was on the bus going home (sat on an isle seat) I got this warm sensation that someone sat next to me and I felt so peaceful in a real holy presence. I didn't think to much about it until later that evening when me and --- sat down and started to talk, something that we do regularly but never about the right stuff! This time I felt like I was being healed from the inside out and then Trevor started to pray after I had cried and let out all those hurts from deep down that I had held on to like a child and its comforter...I tingled from top to toe as --- prayed, he prayed about everyone all my family, his family and God's family it was so great we committed our relationship back to Christ something we should of done when --- gave his life but obviously God knew I wasn't ready back then. We were sat together holding each other then --- knelt on the floor in complete submission to our LORD and I saw for the first time just how much he loves the Lord and was sorry that I had ever doubted that (but we have never really been together in Christ before). I cant really remember what happened exactly after that only that I was praising and thanking Jesus and...when he came back I could feel words rolling out of my mouth that were not making much sense to me and realised that feeling I had earlier was the Holy spirit entering in what peace and freedom I felt WOW!!! I had feared that tongues was something that I would have no control over and it isn't like that you speak it when you want the full armour on and you cant have the full armour when there are to many battles to fight on the inside I see all this now and it is so great to have my eyes healed I know that after a real good nights sleep...I am well on the way to being a wise virgin I have My Lamp FILLED with OIL and I am NOT going to let it go down I have the power to stand up and fight in Gods army and PRAISE THE LORD I AINT EVER TAKING THIS ARMOUR OFF I WILL GO TO BED WITH MY SWORD AND SHALL MAKE SURE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT TOPS ME UP EVERY DAY AND KEEPS ME FULL!!!

So far you will be able to tell that I really truly LOVE JESUS and so I now bring you to my questions:
As a mother and family women yourself I am sure you must of had these thoughts at some stage. I am not worried about it just wondering that if I am to be raptured in may as I hope too (I do repent, pray & praise all the time now) what if anything is going to happen to the baby I am carring and the other two girls we have??? I was wondering if I believe as you do that rapture is in may then could God have it planned so that this baby arrives early of will we go as ONE body, Being only 22 years old I am not one who has studied the bible as much as you have and hoped that you might be able to comfort my fleshly feelings alittle as spiritually I am not worried just excited at seeing my one true love JESUS!!!

I also wondered what would happen to the pets that we own I have a cat that has been with me for 4 years now and would love to think that she is taken care of as she has been missing now for nearly 3 days. Second question:
This is a little sad but my cousins husband (he was in Love with JESUS)not the one in N.Z committed suicide...and I have had very strong feelings about this I know that what he did was wrong but cant find anywhere in the bible that says suicide is unforgivable only that blasphemy against the Holy spirit is unforgivable. Could you shed some light on this for us, his death has brought about so much good that we feel it was sort of a sacrifice as he knew how much our family needed help and did this drastic thing about it. His wife has since come back to the Lord and even my cousin...has flown over full of the Holy Spirit and has been able to lay hands on us and anoint us with gifts that had been spoken to her on the plane over here. So as you can see good has come out of it and still is but to much to mention?  We are all praying that God will forgive his lost sheep and that we will see him in may.

Thank you ever so much for all your time and effort you are a true missionary of the LORD and I commend that on behalf of all my family thankyou and may God continue to bless you with strength and wisdom and heal you and your husband Ed of illnesses...

My reply

> So far you will be able to tell that I really truly LOVE JESUS

That agape love is what it is all about. We must have it or we are "nothing" (I Cor. 13:2). One of the attributes of God is agape love. If he dwells in us, we have agape love. It shines Godward and manward. You and Trevor are drawn closer in this bond of God's love. Now you have two kinds of love binding you together. When you meet other Spirit filled Christians, you will feel a bond of fellowship too. Unbelievers do not understand this, but we are all now one in Christ. We are bound together by His Holy Spirit as cells in His spiritual Body of Christ.

>if I am to be raptured in may as I hope too (I do repent, pray & praise all the time now)
>what if anything is going to happen to the baby I am carring and the other two girls

It certainly sounds like you will go in the Rapture. You have your oil in your vessel with your lamp. I believe that all children under the age of accountability will go with their parents, born or unborn.

> cant find anywhere in the bible that says suicide is unforgivable
> only that blasphemy against the Holy spirit is unforgivable.

That's right. A person who takes his life may lose rewards, but not his salvation. That only depends on faith in Christ.

Thanks for your prayers for us and I prayed for you and your family. He will be with you through thick and thin.

Sometimes a death in the family does bring others to Christ. I know of one example where the parents said they would never have come to Christ except through the illness and death of their daughter. I attended Bible studies at their house later on, and the wife gave her testimony. However, those things should be up to God, not us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and should not damage our earthly house. We should not take God's work into our own hands and make decisions that should be His in times such as this. We should stand fast and trust Him to work things out in His infinite mercy. Agape

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I have enjoyed your web site greatly as of late, and have gained much hope and comfort from it. The reason for my correspondence is a point that I would like to share with you. I too believe in the rapture of the saints, that blessed hope that Paul wrote about in 1 Corinthians and Thessalonians. I also believe in the imminency of the event, the fact that our Lord could come back for at any time, even this very moment. However, I have been studying available information, and I feel that it is possible that the rapture of the saints will occur on a Rosh Hashanah in the near future, and not on a Pentecost. Here is my reasoning:

The Jewish festivals are divided into two groups: the season of passover contains the feast of passover, unleavened bread, first fruits and shavuot, or pentecost. The passover season occurs in the spring of the year, and the time of the first rains in the land of Israel. Then there is a large gap in time until the next festival group starts. In the fall of the year begins the season of teshuvah, or repentance. The festivals are Yom Teruah, or rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and the Sukkot, or the feast of tabernacles. Now the prophet Joel in the second chapter compares the God pouring his Spirit out on the earth to rain, and as I stated the land of Israel has two rainy seasons during the year. The former rain, occurring at the time of planting and characterized by lighter rainfall, and the latter rain, occurring in the fall of the year at harvest time and characterized by being a heavier rainfall. The former rain symbolizes the first advent of Jesus, when he came to this earth as a suffering servant, to bear the sins of us all. This former rain is represented by the season of passover. The latter rain symbolizes the time that we both wait for, when Jesus will return to this earth as a conquering, victorious King of Kings. The time in the future is symbolized by the season of Teshuvah.

The feasts of the Jewish year were given to us as a type, or example, of things to come. The first four feasts of the passover were literally and physically fulfilled by Jesus Christ when he came 2,000 years ago. In fact he fulfilled them right to the very day! If he did this, we can be assured that he will literally fulfill the rest of the symbolic feasts when he returns. I believe the gap in the year between pentecost and rosh hashanah symbolizes the church age, or the age of grace, as well as the diaspora of the Jews, which has now come to an end in this century. Because of this we now that we are very close to the time of the end when all things shall be fulfilled. The reasons I believe Rosh Hashanah will probably be the rapture is the following:

1) Of the many times in the Jewish year that the shofar is blown, by far the most important times are at Pentecost, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur. Rabbi Eliezer in the Pirkei Avot (the sayings of the fathers), said that horns of the ram that Abraham slew on Mt. Moriah were the first and last trump. The first trump ( the left horn of the ram) is blown on Pentecost. We see this first trump in Exodus 19, when a trumpet sounded from the top of Mt. Sinai when God descended upon it. The last trump is blown on Rosh Hashanah, according to Jewish rabbinical tradition. Compare this with 1 Corinthians 15:52, where Paul places the resurrection of the dead in Christ with the last trump. Paul was trained as a pharisee, including studying the oral teachings, and I am positive that this is what he must have been speaking of. The jewish rabbinic tradition even equates Rosh Hashanah with the resurrection of the dead, and the day of judgment. Rosh Hashanah is called Yom Teruah, which in hebrew means the day of the awakening blast.

Rosh Hashanah is also called the hidden day by the Jews. They believe that the day of Yom Teruah is hidden from Satan, so that he will not know what day it will occur on. In fact, a common reply a Jew would give when asked when the day of Yom Teruah would be was "no man knows but the father in heaven". Compare this with Jesus statement in Matthew 24:36.

This is only a small portion of the evidence that I have read on the subject, but I do feel that it is quite compelling. However, if there is anything that you can add to this or counter with, I would very much appreciate it. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings if you disagree with me :) Regardless of whether or not we agree, I still enjoy your web site, and I have tremendous respect for the time and effort you put into studying God's word to this generation. And besides we agree on the most important thing, that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and that by believing in Him we may have life through His Name, as St. John said. I look forward to hearing your reply, and if the Lord comes back in the meantime, I looking forward to meeting you face to face with our Lord and all the saints in the clouds of Heaven. In a way it wouldn't be bad if you were right about Pentecost, because we could then meet that much sooner! Thanks alot and God bless. Your Friend in Jesus

> I also believe in the imminency of the event

I don't think that imminentness is directly stated in Scripture. I think the Rapture is a pre-planned event, scheduled to take place at a precise time determined before the world began.

> the season of passover contains the feast of passover, unleavened bread,

The rains stop between the end of Nisan and the beginning of Tishri.

To a Jew, the former rain starts Tishri 1 and the latter rain starts Nisan 1. See Unger's Bible Dictionary. Also see Ezek. 29:17,21. It tells us that the king of Israel (Christ, Second Advent) WILL BUD ON NISAN 1.

I did not mean to capitalize that. It just came out that way. Neither the caps lock nor shift key was down. It is strange that these capitalizations never start or stop in the middle of a word. At times, I have wondered if it started when I made one letter a capital, then stuck for awhile. That could not have happened here. I would not have capitalized "will." It is beyond me to figure them out unless the Lord triggers it when he wants something emphasized.

Back to Ezekiel. Verse 17 sets the month and day of the month: "In the first month, in the first day of the month." You can be sure this is Nisan 1 from Ezek. 45:18,21.

Then verse 21 says, "In that day will I cause the horn (king) of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth (Logos, Word) in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD (YHVH)."

Nisan 1 makes sense because Nisan 1 is the beginning of the Jewish Regnal Year and Sacred Year, Regnal because Christ is King of kings, Sacred because he is Lord of lords. Jesus will officially take office on Earth on the same day all the other Hebrew kings officially took office.

Hosea 6:2,3 shows us the month and day of both Advents. It seems to have a double reference, to both Israel and the Church. It says, "After two days (2000 years) will he revive us: in the third day (after the third millennium begins) he will raise us up." Israel was raised up in 1948, after the third millennium had begin. It also seems that we will be Raptured after the 2000-year Church Age has ended and the third millennium has begun.

Hosea continues, "and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we KNOW, if we follow on to know the LORD (YHVH):" We could know when end-time events would take place when Israel grew leaves in the Six-Day War of 1967.

Here is the capstone: "his (the LORD'S) going forth is prepared as the morning (the Rapture in the dawn of the new millennium after the 2000-year Church Age is complete); and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter (Second Advent, Nisan 1) and former (First Advent, Tishri 1) rain unto the earth."

Joel 2:23 says, "he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month." In the Bible, when no day number is given, it means we are to assume it is the first of the month, because the same word means new moon and month. The new moon is the first of the Jewish month. There are two first months. Tishri 1 begins the Jewish Civil Year. Nisan 1 begins the Regnal and Sacred Year.

In De. 11:14, the LORD promised Israel, "I will give you the rain of your land in HIS DUE SEASON, the first rain and the latter rain."

> The former rain, occurring at the time of planting and characterized by lighter rainfall,
> and the latter rain, occurring in the fall of the year at harvest time and characterized

The former rain takes place when wheat is planted in the fall, and it is light. The latter rain takes place in Nisan and literally is a gathered rain, or a heavier rain.

> The latter rain symbolizes the time that we both wait for, when Jesus will return to
> this earth as a conquering, victorious King of Kings. The time in the future is
> symbolized by the season of Teshuvah.

The first statement is true. The time is, however Nisan 1, not in the fall.

> first four feasts of the passover were...fulfilled by Jesus Christ when he
> came 2,000 years ago....If he did this, we can be assured that he will
> literally fulfill the rest of the symbolic feasts when he returns.

I don't think he will return until seven months (Ezek. 39:12) after the Day of God's Wrath on the Feast of Trumpets. Therefore, the three fall feasts will be past before his return. Dan. 8:14 says, "Unto two thousand and three hundred days (the shortened Tribulation); then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." This is the Day of God's Wrath, and will, I think, take place on Tishri 1, 5768 (our Sept. 13, 2007), the Feast of Trumpets.

This is a big day, like no other ever. In Heaven, Christ receives his golden crown, then the Marriage of the Lamb takes place. The Tribulation saints are caught up, then the Judgment Seat of Christ takes place. That is when the seven trumpet judgments strike Earth while the saints in Heaven are getting their rewards (Rev. 11:15-18). After the Judgment Seat of Christ, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb takes place.

It is a dark day, Joel 2:1-3 says it is a day of thick darkness. This is because of the asteroid impacts. Zech. 14:6 says that the day of his return with his saints is not a dark day. Therefore, he does not return on that day of desperate sorrow, when the terror of terrors hits Earth and turns it upside down. Every wall will fall. So many men are killed that a child could write the number left.

> horns of the ram that Abraham slew on Mt. Moriah were the first and last trump. The
> first trump ( the left horn of the ram) is blown on Pentecost. We see this first trump
> in Exodus 19, when a trumpet sounded from the top of Mt. Sinai when God descended upon

The first trump is the Pre-Trib Rapture. The last trump is the Pre-Wrath Rapture. I agree that the first is on Pentecost, just as the first trumpet of the Bible sounded at Sinai on Pentecost. I agree that the last trump is blown on Rosh Hashanah too.

> rabbinic tradition even equates Rosh Hashanah with the resurrection of the dead, and
> the day of judgment. Rosh Hashanah is called Yom Teruah, which in hebrew means the
> day of the awakening blast.

This is all correct. There is a resurrection of the dead at the Pre-Wrath Rapture. That day is the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ. It is the day of the awakening blast. The noise of the asteroid impacts will be heard around the world.

>Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings if you disagree with me

I don't think any two people would agree on everything. The Bible is too deep for that. We don't have to agree except about Christ. We are both trying to understand. I think the Lord likes that. Agape
