Pro and Con 309
Incoming Email Hi sweet Marilyn and Ed. Following your posts closely and see you never fail to answer even the toughest of questions. Your rainbow experience reminds me of the beautiful circular rainbow my wife and I saw in the "hole in the clouds" on May 29, 1998. What a compelling experience of the presence of the Lord. I'm looking forward to May 16, as a day of opportunity to experience the 'final warning' before May 22.
On your response about our time and Israel time regarding the rapture P/C 308, I believe that 6 PM there is 8 AM here (blue skies up above, everyones in love, (come on) up the lazy river with me. If we were betrothed (engaged) last year, then this year we ELOPE with the bridegroom to have our wedding and banquet in a secret place that only the bride and friends and Angel will attend in heaven. Praise God, society is about to break down and they don't have the answer to the world's problems. I am looking forward to being with the one who is the answer. Thank you for pointing the way. My mom's nane was Millie too, so there are at least two Millies in heaven awaiting our arrival. She always said everything will come out in the wash.... we have been washed clean thru and thru by our incomparable Christ, our Jesus. Praise God
My reply Thanks. I have to admit though, that I do not answer every email. There are now 396 in my Inbox. I tried so hard to cut them down, but it became more than I could keep up with. I do as much as I can, and that is all I can do. I hope those who have not gotten the answers they deserved will forgive me. I am just one person, trying hard.
There is an email that I awoke in the night to answer night before last. The subject said it was important. Due to the personal nature, I am not posting it, but wave after wave of the phenomenon of my hair standing up passed over me while writing the last paragraph and some more times as I proofed it and added a few things. Something truly important must be at stake. I just now went to copy the last part to paste in here, and got another wave of hair raising. This may apply to us all. I keep getting waves of that feeling even now. Here is the last part of the email:
>>Misspelled words don't matter. Your chance to go in the Rapture is at stake. Write me if you have questions. I am ready to help in any way I can. Time may be very short. You need to act NOW. You will have no peace until you do.
I just felt my hair raise up on my head. That is a sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit. He is calling you to repentance right now. Please respond to his call. There may even be some other reason besides the coming Rapture why it is so important right now. I feel the urgency, and my hair keeps raising up, wave after wave is hitting me. I sense that there is a lot at stake here. Please, please let me know what your response is. I love you and want every good thing for you. The Lord got me up in the middle of the night to write this. The Lord is working mightily in your life. Now the feeling is spreading even to my upper legs. Another big wave just hit my head and ran all over me. It just keeps going on, wave after wave. Something big is at stake here. Please hear the Lord's call. Confess your sins and get right with Him, immediately. Turn around.>>
Just reading it over, the feeling keeps coming in waves. I think maybe we had all better take it to heart.
Re: the circular rainbow. Saturn's rainbow is circular. Circular ones have also been seen from airplanes above the Earth. I don't know of anyone but you that has seen a circular one from the ground. You won't forget that any more than I can forget being in the end of the rainbow last Jan. 26. Agape

Thanks so much for your response to my last e-mail re : One or two raptures? It certainly helped clarify some issues for me. I was studying occurances of the 'Come hither' phrase and found the following which I believe reinforces what you have said about the one year wait between Penecost 98 & 99.
Acts 25:17, "Therefore, when they were come hither, WITHOUT ANY DELAY ON THE MORROW I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth. This seems to indicate that on the morrow (or year after Pentecost 98', year in which Noah was told to 'go forth') there will be no delay in rising up tp meet Christ.
The inclusion of the phrase,' without delay' seems to emphasise that there will be NO DELAY this time. I beleieve the verse is an allegory to end times as you will see when you compare this to Rev 17:1 which also talks about judgement in the same phrase as the come hither." Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters". Rev 21:9 refers to the Lamb's wife and to come hither and see her," Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife".
If we in the first rapture are the Bride of Christ it would seem appropriate we would be called up to form the bride prior to the events that unfold in Rev 21. It also links the come hither pre trib rapture in Acts with the Lamb's wife in Rev 21.
All these are just my thoughts, you may have different views on them. See you soon on the rock!!!!!! In abundant agape love
My reply > Acts 25:17, "Therefore, when they were come hither, WITHOUT ANY DELAY ON

When I was scanning my email, I thought that this probably did not apply because it is about Paul being brought forth before a judge. That did not seem too significant. Then while reading it to answer, I realize that you may be teaching me something that I had not seen before. Paul is a member of the Bride of Christ. What applies to him CAN apply to us.
"BROUGHT FORTH" is "ago." The Rapture is a go, even in English. The word "ago" in Greek means , to go, (prop., to bring), bring forth, carry, lead away, to lead by laying hold of (and in this way to bring to the point of destination), to lead by accompanying to (any place), to lead with one's self (attach to one's self as an attendant), to conduct, lead away (or through), to lead, guide, direct, to move, impel, to DEPART. It fits the Rapture. Wow! Thank you.
> compare this to Rev 17:1...Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment
> of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters".
The setting of Rev. 17 is the time of the Rapture. In verse 12, the ten kings have received no kingdom as yet. They are crowned as the Tribulation starts in Rev. 13:1. I knew that, and should have paid more attention to the "Come hither" in the first verse. In my book, "The Master Key," renamed "Revelations 2000" by Avon Books, I set "Come hither" in bold face type and used it as a heading, but I did not follow up and tie it in with the Rapture in Rev. 4:1. I was too eager to explain that John was shown a religious group being moved from Rome to "SIT upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns" at Babylon "IN THE WILDERNESS" ("desert," Mt. 24:26). The "many waters" are many nations (Rev. 17:15). This is the world church.
The "Come hither" is the first clue that the setting of Rev. 17 is at the time of the Rapture. As in 4:1, John is being shown what is to come "hereafter" the Rapture. The same thing applies to Rev. 21:9.
> Rev 21:9..."Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife".
Rev. 3:12 shows that the Philadelphians will be in New Jerusalem at the time of the Rapture. The same thought is expanded in Rev. 21:9f. This shows that the Philadelphians are the Bride, as I thought.
> Acts 25:17, "Therefore, when they were come hither, WITHOUT ANY DELAY ON
> THE MORROW I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth
Thank you for showing me this confirmation that there will be no further delay beyond our engagement period. It sure seems to indicate that our Bridegroom will come on time.
This ties in with Hab. 2:3, "For the vision is yet for AN APPOINTED TIME (year, Rev. 12:6,14), but at the end (of the year?) it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry (mahahh, hesitate), wait for it (have patience, Rev. 3:10); because it will surely come, IT WILL NOT TARRY (achar, be behind)."
That ties in with Heb. 10:30-38: "The Lord shall judge HIS people...call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions...ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of REWARD. For ye have need of PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the PROMISE. For YET A LITTLE WHILE, and HE (Christ) that shall come will come, and WILL NOT TARRY. now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."
This year's engagement period was pre-planned. I just did not see it until after Pentecost, 1998 passed. There were too many indications that pointed to 1998, one being that it was the 6000th year of man's test being mortal and knowing both good and evil. I did not see that even the Jew's keeping both Sivan 6 and Sivan 7 as Pentecost could indicate the beginning of our engagement and the coming of the Bridegroom for his Bride on Sivan 7, a little later on, after the 6000th year was complete.
"But the end of all things is AT HAND: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity (Old English for 'agape,' God's love) among yourselves: for charity (love) shall cover the multitude of sins....For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God" (I Peter 4:7,8,17).
When last Pentecost passed, Jack Langford threw in the sponge. I could not. The Lord strengthened my back. I was not about to give up. The Lord had shown me light on Jer. 50:2. It said to publish and conceal not. Somehow, I knew I was in the will of God even though May 31, 1998 passed without the Rapture taking place. I decided that last Pentecost must have been a wake-up call. Now, I am even more convinced of it.
Recently, I said that, according to Esth. 2:12, we would be tried by both bitterness and "sweet odours". I think I just was tried by the sweet." Someone asked to do a documentary on me, follow me around as I went about my own business." I am turning it down today. This is all about the Lord's work, not me. It would interfere with my getting as much done for the Lord as possible before the Rapture. It would keep me from learning everything I could learn. I have a one-track mind. It would keep me from concentrating. Be on guard. Not all testing seems bad on the surface.
Thanks for your teaching. See you soon on the rock!!!!!! In abundant agape love

Below is an interesting excerpt from an article about Enoch and the rapture by Samson Raphael Hirsch on Chuck Missler's Web site. The parallel gives one possible rationale for a Pentecost rapture, another being the symbolism in Song of Solomon 2:10-13. (http://www.khouse.org/articles/update/codes9805.html).
Enoch is one of the most interesting characters in the Bible. The first prophecy uttered by a prophet was a prophecy of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and it was proclaimed before the Flood of Noah! Enoch is also distinctive in that he did not suffer death; he was "raptured."
There were three groups of people facing the flood: those that perished in the flood; those that were preserved through the flood; and those removed before the flood: namely, Enoch. There are some who view Enoch as a foreshadowing of the church being removed prior to the global ordeal known as the Great Tribulation.
It is interesting that there is a Jewish tradition that Enoch was born on the day that was later ordained as the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). What makes this even more interesting is the associated tradition that he was "raptured" on his birthday.
Is it possible that this is a foreshadowing of the harpazo of the church?
There would seem to be a logical consistency if the same feast that "stopped" the Jewish clock will be the same event that "restarts" it. We will just watch and see. Let's remember that He instructed us to "occupy until He comes." Even so, Come, Lord Jesus!
My reply Thanks. I saw this article last May. Here are some other nuggets I found interesting, especially Pentecost being the FIRST Harvest.
Hag Ha Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, also called, Hag Ha Kazir, the Feast of Harvest ("the First Harvest")....
The sudden "gathering out" of the church (harpazo in the Greek;12 called the "rapture" from the Latin) may also be hidden behind this feast....
(For those subscribers who don't hold a pre-tribulation view, don't be concerned: we will have mailed our June newsletter before May 31.)
--- Hirsch seems to have expected the Rapture May 31, 1998, as I did. There were so many things pointing to it. I have come to think that as Noah entered into the Ark in his 600th year, we entered upon our 12 month engagement period in the 6000th year. Now I am hoping that as Noah heard "Go forth" in his 601st year, we too will hear the Lord say "Go forth" in the 6001st year.
> he was "raptured" on his birthday.
There is a reference somewhere on my Pro and Cons that Enoch was born and Raptured on Sivan 6. I won't be unhappy with Sivan 6 or Sivan 7, May 21 or 22, 1999. Maranatha.
Incoming Email I have a few questions related somewhat to your discovery of the flaming sword. In I Thess.:
1. What is the "trump"?
Just as the flaming sword is not exactly as we conceive it, could the same be true here? 2. What is the "voice of the archangel"?
3. What is, or what is in, the "shout"?
I am sort of left wondering why God would put these three descriptions relating to His "descending" to catch us away. If the passage just stated that the "Lord will descend", I think we would all still get the message very clearly. But, it goes on to list these three things the Lord comes "with". So, what are they?
Also, I am interested to read Josephus' account of the candlestick, with the Sun being in the middle. I have been reading Exodus and think, as I did with the Ark, that it may be in reality a bit different from what we see in pictures or the one I have in my house. Which, may give a new view of the account in Rev., not only of Christ being in the midst of the candlestick, but the seven spirits of the seven churches. So, the question I have here is, when Christ speaks of being seated at the right hand of the Father, is it possible Christ is speaking of Jupiter? Or, Neptune?
Finally, I am very basic regarding knowledge of astronomy, so your posting are quite remarkable to me, in particular, the gamma ray burst of 01-23-99. Thanks for all the years of sacrificial obedience searching for things finer than gold. The question here is, in the parable of the 10 virgins, at the time of the rapture, is it possible that 5 of the planets would be designated as "burning lamps", "stars", "able to be seen at a particular time together", etc., while the other 5 would not, thus a sign in heaven? I know there are 9, but assuming Rahab is not a wise virgin, but rather counted in the 5 foolish...? I'm just curious. I can only find Orion and the Dipper, so this is just a question in my mind.
Thank you for all your hard work and loving spirit. See you soon!!
My reply Thank you for your kindness.
> In I Thess.: 1. What is the "trump"?
It may be the Lord's voice. In the Preview of the Rapture in Rev. 1:10, John heard behind him "a great voice, AS OF A TRUMPET." When the Rapture actually takes place in Rev. 4:1, John said, "and the FIRST VOICE which I heard was as it were (symbolic language) of A TRUMPET TALKING WITH ME; which said, COME UP HITHER."
Do you remember how Jesus taught 5000 people without a microphone and amplifier? He is able to speak with "a great voice," a trumpeting voice.
> Just as the flaming sword is not exactly as we conceive it, could the same be true here?
There is that possibility.
> 2. What is the "voice of the archangel"?
Michael's voice. He will probably announce that the Bridegroom is coming. Mt. 25:6 says, "And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, THE BRIDEGROOM COMETH; GO YE OUT TO MEET HIM."
There is a chance that Michael is also speaking Rev. 12:10: "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
> 3. What is, or what is in, the "shout"?
I don't know exactly, but when the first trumpet of the Bible sounded at Sinai, there were "thunders and lightnings" (Ex. 19:16).
> Also, I am interested to read Josephus' account of the candlestick, with the Sun being
> in the middle.
I don't think the Sun was in the middle. Here is what Josephus said, "...near the southern wall, was set a candlestick of cast gold, hollow within...the shaft elevated itself on high from a single base, and spread itself into as many branches as there are planets, including the sun among them. It terminated in seven heads, in one row, all standing parallel to one another; and these branches carried seven lamps, one by one, in imitation of the number of the planets. These lamps looked to the east and to the south, the candlestick being situate obliquely" (Ant., III. VII. 7).
I think the Sun is represented by the western light that was always to be kept burning. The rest of the lamps were not lit until night, since planets are not seen in the daytime. The planets were all those that are visible to the naked eye. Here is the Sun and its visible family: (1) Sun, (2) Mercury, (3) Venus, (4) EARTH, (5) Mars, (6) Jupiter, and (7) Saturn. Notice who is the central light. The Sun is on the west. Heaven is on the east, and the Earth is in the middle. Know why the Lord will come from the east (Mt. 24:27)? Planets rise in the eastern sky. On Pentecost, Saturn will rise in the east about 4:36 AM. The wise men said, "we have seen his star in the east" (Mt. 2:2).
> when Christ speaks of being seated at the right hand of the Father, is
> it possible Christ is speaking of Jupiter? Or, Neptune?
Neptune? No. Jupiter, a possibility. Dan. 7:9 says of the Ancient of days, "his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire." The words "like" and "as" are symbolic language, so it is not literal. Since the whole universe cannot contain God, I really doubt that Jupiter is the throne of the Father, but I did think of it since it looks very much like whirling flames.
However, instead of "at," it seems more like Jesus is ON the right hand of the Father. I think that Jesus actually IS the right hand of the Father, the arm of the Lord. Isa. 52:10; 53:1, 5 says, "The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God....WHO hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?...he was wounded for our transgressions."
Isa. 51:9 says, "Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut (lit., split) Rahab (Satan's planet that is now our Asteroid Belt), and wounded the dragon (Satan)?" This Angelic Conflict has been going on a long time.
One thing we can be sure of, even in Heaven, we will see God in the face of Jesus Christ. The "throne (one throne) of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his (one person's) servants shall serve him (one person): And they shall see his face (one face); and his name (singular) shall be in their foreheads" (Rev. 22:3,4).

I don't know, but there are places on the Web to see the planet lineup on any certain date. There is a link to one near the top of my Link page.
There are lots of things that we don't know. We are only given so much information because this life is a test. It will be nice to learn more when we get to Heaven.
Incoming Email Re: Day and hour: Charles D Landis wrote:
In one of your recent P & C s, you listed five (5) words that are used for "rapture":
I did a "Bible word code" search on the entire OT and found only one(1) word code for "Shilhuv" in Genesis 25:28-30 and 26:1 at a "skip sequence" of 50. The number 50 has a lot of significance.
After I find an important word like "Shilhuv", I then focus in on that passage of scripture to see if I can find other related words that would support the main word. Listed below are some words that I found that relate directly to the rapture (shilhuv):
"gone", "up", "lift", "high", "root", "out", "go", "with", "took", "save", "us", "in", "jet", "air", "watch", "wait", "hear", "horn", "blow", "ear", "know", "week", "hour", "Noah", "Noe", "ark", "shut", "YHWH", "son", "get", "him", "wife", "wed", "wise", "oil", "wheat", "corn", "new", "wine", "song", "crown", "pure", "eat", "fig", "no", "sin", "crown", "GRB" (This is NASA's abbrevation for "gamma ray burst"), "glow", "wave", "warn", "wrath", "saw", "on", "TV", "CNN", "NBC", "ABC".
As you can see from the above words that I actually found, all these relate directly to the rapture. It appears that we will be "lifted up on high" as our Lord "saves us" in a "jet of air". Those who go with the Lord will be "watching and waiting to hear the horn blow". Will we "know the week and the hour" as the final deadline approaches? This is truly a time similar to when the Lord "shut up Noah(Noe) in the ark". It is soon time for "YHWH to tell his Son to go get a wife to wed". Only those who are "wise and pure who have oil of the Holy Spirit (New Wine) and no sin will be crowned". The Lord has given His "warning of the wrath to come with a powerful GRB". Many people(those who were not saved) "saw the shilhuv and it was reported on TV with CNN, NBC and ABC".
That is the message I have gotten from this study. What do you think? Do you think that we will "know the week and the hour" just before the "shilhuv" occurs? I would like to hear some feed back from other readers too.
My reply Small words are interesting, but must occur frequently. Longer words are easier to accept as not being accidental. You didn't mention numbers, but since every letter represents a number, numbers alone do not seem to me to be good indicators. However, something like Sivan 6 5759 or Sivan 7 5759 might be put in there on purpose.
> Do you think that we will "know the week and the hour" just before the "shilhuv" occurs?
Rev. 3:3 says to the churches (plural), "If therefore, thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what HOUR I will come upon thee." The word translated hour is Strong's 5610, hora. It can be translated as day, hour, instant, season, or time. The period of time is to be determined by the context. It is translated "day" in Mk. 6:35: "And when the day was now far spent."
Young's says that hora is translated day (1 time), high time (1), hour (89), instant (1), season (3), time (11) and short (1 time). As you can see, it usually seems to mean hour. In Rev. 3:3, there is reason to take it as a literal hour. If this means what it seems to, we can know the hour if we watch. The parable of the ten virgins mentions midnight. Lu. 12:38 says, "And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants."
From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM is the first watch of the 12 hours of night. From 9:00 to midnight is the second watch. From midnight to 3:00 AM is the third watch. From 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM is the fourth watch. The second and the third watches have something in common. They touch at midnight. To me, midnight, Jerusalem time seems most likely. The rest of us would probably have to figure the difference in our time zone. There is a World Time Zones link on my link page.
Before you think we really know the hour, consider Mt. 14:25 (and Mk. 6:48): "And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea." This is when to told Peter to "Come," and Peter walked on the water. He became afraid and started to sink. We must be confident that Jesus will bring the Rapture to pass, but the actual day and hour are not that important. If we are ready, it will be fine whenever he comes. Just get ready and keep watching. I am hoping for this upcoming Pentecost.
Incoming Email my prayers are with you and Ed, hoping that you are both well.
You have pointed out that Eve (the bride) was taken out of the body of Adam (Christ is the last Adam, I Corinthians 15:45). Genesis 2:21, says that..."the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam...." It seems that the body of Christ is also in a deep sleep, not watching, and the bride will again be taken out of the body as it sleeps. Looking forward, and watching, for that blessed hour!
My reply Thanks for your prayers. Ed is feeling better, walked a bit faster at the mall today, seems to be getting back slowly to something near normal.
I'm glad you thought about the deep sleep on Adam. It does fit, very well. Only a portion are awake and watching. I hadn't thought of this.
Incoming Email I have enjoyed visiting your web page. It appears you have extensively analyzed the scripture about the return of Christ. I just came across something that I think could be of very importance. When God was getting ready to meet the Jews after their exodus from Egypt the scripture says:
Ex:19:15: And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
"....come not at your wives." If Jesus is getting ready to come for His bride, and we have to be in purity, then doesn't it make sense that this scripture be fulfilled?
Most likely supernaturally. Is there any consensus of this, eventhough could be very private. I appreciate your response. Thanks and God bless.
My reply Glad you enjoyed my web site. I have studied the Bible as deep as I can go since before 1960.
There definitely is a lesson to be learned from Ex. 19:15--BE READY!!! That means clean up your act and get right with God. They were to wash their clothes. That says it too. It is a spiritual lesson being acted out in a little dramatic skit. The Bible is full of them. Israel's recorded history is set down for us for this very reason. God caused them to act out prophecy. Israel was to be espoused to the Lord on Pentecost. It looks like we were too, last Pentecost. This year, I think that those that are ready will be taken to the HIS PLACE, promised to us in John 14:2. However, the Marriage of the Lamb will not take place until the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord, right after his golden crown is placed on Jesus' head.
In the meantime, we will visit our habitation (Job 5:24) and rest (Psa. 149:5) while those left on Earth go through the trial that is to come upon the whole world (Rev. 3:10). That will be one glorious vacation for us. I don't know about you, but we haven't had a vacation in so long, I can't remember when it was. I am sure looking forward to this wonderful one.
The delay in Israel being brought before the Lord can apply today. The third day can also apply. We have entered the first year of the next millennium. According to my research, this is the 6001st year of man's test since Adam left the Garden of Eden near the Euphrates River. It is the 2001st year since the wise men visited Jesus in BC 3, when he was about two years old, and gave him gifts that depicted his kingship and lordship. We are in the third millennial day since.
That reminds me of Jesus appearing to the two men on the road to Emmaus (people despised, i.e, on the road to the Tribulation) on the third day since (Lu. 24:21). I think he will appear to us also on the third day since.
Lu. 24:13-31 says, "behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him....to day is the third day since these things were done....And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself...And their eyes were opened, and they knew him."
Jesus is near us this year, but we do not yet see him. He is helping us understand "in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." Soon, we will see him. BE READY!!!
