Incoming Email Prayer need (Rose Hunter)
I am requesting prayer for my son, Sterling. He has been really bad the last few weeks.I know this is an attack of the enemy, but I really need your prayers. Thank you.
Incoming Email Divine dental work (Jim Bramlett)
This afternoon I received the below fascinating, confirming reply to my "divine dental work" message from friend Dr, Jean (Wootton) Kincaid, a brilliant medical doctor, also with a Ph.D., and who was formerly a department chairman at a major university. Jean's late father was a Pentecostal preacher and she is well-acquainted with several decades of history of God's miracle-working power.
Interesting. A couple of days ago I sent Karen an email about these gold fillings and reminded her that in the late 1960s there were several people in Columbus, Ohio who miraculously received gold fillings while attending a tent meeting. One of those was a school teacher friend who had an appointment with her dentist to get a painful tooth filled. She showed me the gold filling in a right lower molar.
At that same time I also had a very painful, previously filled, throbbing right lower molar and thought I needed to get it repaired. On impulse, I telephoned the mother of the evangelist who had prayed for the school teacher when she received the gold filling. You may have heard of him since he subsequently spent some time in jail in the 1970s, Leroy Jenkins. Leroy was somewhat of a scoundrel but I knew about several miracles in his ministry, including the miraculous and dramatic healing of a friend's leg that had been mutilated in an auto accident that Cindy and I also were in.
"Mama" Jenkins prayed over the phone for that molar and the pain instantly stopped. After 30 years I've had no more trouble with that tooth. During a dental check a year later they took x-rays and said that the tooth was fine and did not need the filling replaced as I had suggested to them. Amazingly enough I've never had a carious tooth since that prayer when before that I was developing caries on a regular basis.
In respect to to the accident, Dr. Joe Leach, the orthopedic surgeon for the Ohio State football team, was the only Dr. who was willing to try to repair that leg. Several doctors said that it would have to be amputated. Dr. Leach said that he'd give it a week and if gangreen did not set in he'd leave the leg to serve as a support for a brace. He did not even try to re-connect the nerves but just stuffed them in and closed the skin over that terribly mutilated leg.
A few days later Elizabeth nearly died from a transfusion reaction. She'd lost over half her blood from that bleeding leg despite the tournequet. God pulled her through that, also. Elizabeth told Dr. Leach that God would heal her leg. He just shook his head. She had no movement below the knee and should not ever have movement since the nerves had been totally severed. Several months later, after LeRoy prayed, she instantly was able to flex and to extend the foot. A different evangelist prayed for her two months later and then she could move the foot sideways. The leg was still 2 inches shorter than the other because of the macerated bone.
One day she asked me to pray for its lengthening and when I lifted her two legs to measure the difference, with the right leg noticable shorter, the leg just grew out by itself before we even prayed. Two inches. Verified by Dr. Leach who remarked with tears in his eyes, "I had nothing to do with this." Neither did I. We had not even gotten to pray. It was all the Lord's doing.
Even her agnostic daughter who had been the driver and had a broken back, broken leg, teeth knocked out, etc. got saved through the accident and is still serving the Lord.
Cindy's femur (thigh bone) was broken. A newly Spirit-filled municipal judge who had begun attending Katheryn Kuhlman's meetings prayed for Cindy and her femur was completly healed. Her waist-to-toe cast was removed by her orthopod who verified the healing by x-rays after only 3 weeks in the cast. He admitted that it had been a miracle and was visibly shaken. It seems that I may already have told you about these miracles, but I am still in total awe about the Lord's love and healing power.
I also met people in the 1960s who claimed to find gold dust on their hands during worship and have no doubt that the Lord is doing it again. He is a mighty God.
God bless, Jean
Incoming Email In January of 1998, the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to learn all that I could about the Rapture because it was coming soon. I was at a bookstore and found your book Revelations 2000 and started reading it. It's so facinating, I read it several times. I too was disappointed when the Rapture didn't occur last year, but I didn't take it to heart.
I started a new job with a computer with Internet access and I was really excited to find your web site. I read it every day at lunch to see if you've posted anything new. (And I get really worried when you haven't posted for a few days, just like everybody else!) Being employed full time and raising a 14 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and being married doesn't give me a lot of time to study my Bible like I should, but your web site really helps me in this regard, and inspires me to keep on the straight and narrow. May God bless you and give you the strength to continue your wonderful work!
Satan has certainly sifted me like wheat in the last year, at least healthwise....I am now trying to convince my 14 year old daughter about the Rapture coming soon. You know how teenagers are; they think they're invincible. She's been baptized and confirmed, but I told her unless she confesses that Jesus is her Saviour and confesses her sins she'll get left behind (was I right?). My husband has joined the church and been confirmed also, but he says I scare him with this Rapture stuff. I told him he should be scared and that he doesn't want to be on earth when all the bad stuff starts happening. Hopefully I can get him convinced next, before the Rapture comes (I don't have much time, do I?).
Speaking of time, can you amend your countdown to say how many days are left? I get a little confused with the other way. I think it would shock people to realize how few days are really left. Thanks!
...Thanks again for all your hard work and your inspiration....I hope & pray that we get to meet in heaven someday.
My reply ...Sorry you have had all these awful things happen, but hang in there, the Rapture can't be far off.
As for teens like your daughter, they are of age and must confess Christ as their Savior. If this is the first time, they have only sins committed afterward to confess. Everything before accepting Christ is erased. We get a fresh start.
The primary thing, of course, is just to be sure that as many as possible have really accepted Christ, that they are not trusting a church, but the true Head of the Church, Christ himself. Next in importance is to get sins committed after accepting Christ under the blood of Christ by confessing them to God.
Incoming Email Re: Question about 1st Thess. 4:16
I would first like to say, Thank You for your Web Site and all the hours that you put into answering questions from the public. You are truly a Servant of are Lord Jesus Christ. I hope You, Ed and your family are doing well. I just have a quick question that I was thinking about the other day and didn't know how to answer exactly. If you have the time to explain this concept I would really appreciate it.
Question: I understand that when we die as a Christian that we "go to be with the Lord", and I believe this. The concept that I'm not real clear on is in 1st Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first". The dead in Christ will rise first, if the dead are with the Lord, how do they rise to meet the Lord? Are the dead rising to receive their "Resurrected Bodies"? If this is so, is it just their bodies rising, because the dead in Christ are already with the Lord? I'm probably making this harder than it is and I apologize, but I would like to be able to explain this to someone else someday. And as you know well, you can't explain things until you have learned the details. I have a friend that I witness to often and he asks very detailed questions often, so I have to prepare myself in advance as much as I can.
God Bless you and the work that you do. If the Rapture happens May 22, I will be in long line to come give you a big hug and thank you for all that you have taught me over that last couple of years. Keep up the great work that you do, it really is appreciated.
Looking for our "Blessed Hope" next month. Your brother in Christ
My reply Thanks for all those nice things you said. It will be WONDERFUL to actually meet you and those like you. I am definitely looking forward to it.
> The dead in Christ will rise first, if the dead are with the
> Lord, how do they rise to meet the Lord? Are the dead rising to
> receive their "Resurrected Bodies"?
I Cor. 15:40 says, "There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial." The dead in Christ have left their earthly bodies behind and exist in their celestial bodies until Jesus returns for his Bride. It is my understanding that when he brings them back, they come down, get their resurrection bodies and rise up. We then shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air.
A passage that may shed some light on this is Acts 3:21. Speaking of Jesus Christ, it says, "Whom the heaven must receive until the TIMES (plural) of restitution (apokatastasis, reconstitution) of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."
I Thess. 4:14-17 (KJV) says, "if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God BRING WITH HIM (i.e., in their celestial bodies). For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (Old English for precede) them which are asleep (the dead in Christ). For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first (be reconstituted, get their earthly bodies back): Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." Incoming Email I hope you're right, Do you have problems with people calling you a "date setter?" the bible does say no man knows that day or the hour, Praise god He is coming again, I praise God that you are getting the message out to people, God Bless you
My reply No problem. I expected it from the first, but I have to do what I think the Lord wants me to do no matter what else happens. When I saw light on Jer. 50:2, and it said publish and conceal not, I knew I had to plow ahead through this kind of jelled mindset. I understood it, for I thought this myself until things came clear in 1968. God bless
Incoming Email I just wanted to write and let you know I enjoy your website, and check it regularly. It is too bad some have to have such a critical spirit. (You could take the obvious feminist reply and say, "Well the Bible says 'NO MAN (you being a woman) knoweth'" but I know you are to kind to do that!) -I'm sure you have endured much abuse over your position at the hands of "so-called" Christians. I must say that I admire your graciousness in responding kindly to the critical letters that you have published. I'm sure you have received many more than you have shared with us on your website. I think that shows a TRUE Chrislike spirit. God Bless You. Maranatha!
My reply After last Pentecost, one person sent me 400 blessings, an email bomb, with about one line of type on each. I figure that if we suffer for well doing, the Lord will reward us. I had to stop putting a lot on because I ran out of Web space. However, after the worst of those, Frank Lee Tullock, died unexpectedly at a fairly young age, that kind of thing slowed to a trickle. We are commanded in Scripture to treat the brethern with agape love. Why go against the Lord? He is the judge. I just try to help people, not down them. Agape
Incoming Email I am very interested in the signs in the heavens that seem to be happening each month around the same time. Jan 23, Feb. 23, Mar 23, April 23 and maybe May 22. On Jan. 23 was the gamma ray burst, then Feb. 23 was the alignment of Venus and Jupiter to form what many believe was the star of Bethlehem as it appeared to the shepherds in their fields heralding the birth of Christ. Mar. 23 another planetary alignment of Venus and Saturn. And we should expect the Lyrid Meteor shower on the 23 of April. Each of these events is 30 days apart. I hope the culmination being the Great Finale....the sign of the Son of Man.
Is there any significance in the way the planets are aligning themselves to give us this spectacular night light? I wonder if Venus is being marched through a sequence of comparisons and being overshadowed by the brighter lights of larger planets? Did you mention in your first book that Venus was the habitation of Satan?
Don't forget that Palestine is suppose to announce its Statehood in May, I think around the 13th or so. I am not sure of the date. That gesture may start the global conflict we are anticipating.
By the way, I don't believe it takes 9 billion years for light to travel from one end of the universe to the other. I think God is going to prove man's theory of light travel wrong when every eye shall see Him in all time zones at the same time...no delay.
Let me know what you think of this.
Keeping the faith and getting excited about the possibility of May 22, 1999.
My reply Jan 23, Feb. 23, Mar 23, April 23 just might indicate Sunday, May 23. Since Pentecost can be figured 3 ways, be ready May 21-23.
> I wonder if Venus is being marched through a sequence of comparisons and being
> overshadowed by the brighter lights of larger planets? Did you mention in your
> first book that Venus was the habitation of Satan?
Venus is the brightest planet, bar none. Rahab was Satan's planet, not Venus.
> Don't forget that Palestine is suppose to announce its Statehood in May
I think they have since postponed it to 2000. I posted the news on a Pro and Con.
Incoming Email I do believe, my friend, that you are very mislead and are not in tune with what Jesus has actually said. You said that Jesus and the Father is one person, that is very untrue. Jesus is the Son of the Father. Two seperate persons, yet One God. God is a three person Diety. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
I am going to be raptured when God sends His Son, who is presently awaiting His Father to tell him "Son, go get Your bride", which is not written in scripture, but Father God WILL Tell Jesus to go get the church. And yes, only the Father knows exactly when, and No Man knows. Including you and all your studies. Write down the exact date and time that the Rapture will take place and please email it to me. I will email you the day after to show you that man does not know. God bless you and take care.
My reply Jesus Christ is the Almighty himself. In Rev. 1:8, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega (i.e., the first and last), the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
He is called Yahweh of hosts in Isa. 44:6: "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."
II Cor. 5:19 says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." He is "Emmanuel...God with us" (Mt. 1:23).
I am hoping for the Rapture next Pentecost. There are 3 ways to figure it, so be ready May 21-23.

Hope this finds you and your family well. Haven't written in a while, and I just finished catching up on your posts. As usual, you've been busy!
I just wanted to confirm your post on the battle of Gog and Magog. Many people put it at the begining of the Trib, or at the mid point or even before the trib begins. However, there really is no doubt that it is at end of the trib. If people would look at the Feast for the Fowls of the Air, which is recorded here and several other places in the Scripture (including Revelation) than there is no doubt as to the time of its occurance. It definately takes place at the end of the Trib.
Also wanted to mention Daniels 70th week, in response to Steve. You answered him well, and I wanted to expound on a specific statement he said. He said something to the effect that there is absolutely no evidence in the Scripture that there is a separation between the 69th week and the 70th week, and that the latter ran right after the former was finished. However, as you pointed out, the Messiah was Cut off at the end of the 69th week, and in the same verse it specifically says that 'the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the temple' which we know occured 40 years later. And then, after this, the 'prince' signs the covenant for on week. There is obviously already a forty year 'waiting' period, and to say that there couldn't be more shows a lack of understanding of God's Word. Though most people don't realize it, Daniel Chapter Four is a Sign (in Nebachaddnezzar's own words) of the Church age, which we know has lasted about 2,000 years. Until the Seven Times of the Church have been fulfilled, than the Times of the Gentiles and the 70th week (Times of the Jews) will be put on hold.
As well, this individual hasn't done his homework very well. He puts a lot of emphasis on the 'Protestant' Eschatology, however the 'AnteNiacene' Theology, which has much more Authority, states that the entire 70th week of Daniel was still future. Most of the early Church Fathers believed this. This concept that it has already been fulfilled is a product of Covenant Theology (the Spiritualization Method) which didn't gain any prominence until the times of Constantine in around 325 AD....
My reply I've been so busy that I didn't get this answered in a timely fashion. Sorry. I no longer know to which Pro and Con this refers, so I'll put the date I received it. You made some good points that should be posted....
Incoming Email Hi, I am an engineering student at the university of exeter in england and have never really taken an interest in anything spiritual or religious. A few weeks ago I was visited by two Jehova's witnesses who I invited in to my student house for a chat. I actually found what they were saying was extremely interesting and relevant to me, firstly they asked me what my thoughts were about the twentieth century and I replied that It is a very fast paced society where everywhere other than in the western world suffereing and violence is a part of everyday life. We talked about drug abuse as being 19 years of age I am of a generation of drug users whether middle , upper or lower class etc I assured them that everyone I meet is in some way connected to the drug culture (wether this is just the case in great brittain I do not know). They then went on to tell me that we are approaching changeable times and showed me passages from the bible suggesting that the twentieth century is the beginning of the end , with two great wars etc they suggested that the devil has been very subtle over the last 2000 years and that it was time for a reckoning. Anyway from an unbiased perspective I can see alot of sense in what these people had to say and as a result I decicde to investigate on the internet - which is where I came accross your website. I was simply wondering when you personally beleive the rapture will happen and how you think unworthy (If that is the right phrase to use) people will be cleansed or gooten rid of? My degree in electronic engineering is set to finish in 2001 , so what can I do to include myself in gods reign over the next 1000 yrs?
My reply I personally think the Rapture will take place this Pentecost. There are three ways of figuring Pentecost, so be ready and watch May 21-23, 1999. It has to take place before the Tribulation begins.
To get ready, you first need to accept Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour. Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." When you accept Christ, all your past sins are wiped off the books, and you get a fresh start.
Second, any sins committed after accepting Christ should be confessed to God, as per I John 1:9, so Christ can cleanse you of all unrighteousness.
Drugs are a sign of the end-times. In the last book of the Bible, the Greek word pharmakeia (translated sorceries) means drugs, sorcery, witchcraft. It appears twice. Rev. 9:21 says, Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." Rev. 18:23 says, And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee (Babylon); and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived."
I am glad the Jehovah's Witnesses alerted you to the fact that these are the end times, but I must warn you they they believe the wrong thing about Christ. They think he was Michael the archangel. He really is the Son of God. They will tell you that John 1:1 in the Greek Diaglott says that "the Word was a God." That is not the whole truth. I have a copy of page 312 of "The Emphatic Diaglott," Greek test translated by Wilson. There are two columns. On the left side is the Greek text with the English word under each Greek word. The transliterated Greek says, "kai theos en o Logos. Under those words (actually in the Greek alphabet, which I can't type for you) are these English words, "and a god was the Word." However, over in the right column, Wilson's translation into English, is "and the LOGOS was God." Wilson knew what it really said.
I also have a copy of the same passage in "The Interlinear Literal Translation of the Greek New Testament," by Berry. Under the Greek words, he had "and God was the Word." In his English translation, he said, "and the Word was God."
Green's Interlinear says under the Greek words, "and God was the Word." In his English translation, he has "and the Word was God." These men understood Greek grammar.
Colwell's Rule of Greek Grammar says that a definite predicate nominative takes the article when it follows the verb; it does NOT do so when it precedes the verb as in John 1:1.
Here is the whole section that is so important in John 1:1-3,14: "IN the beginning was the Word (i.e., the pre-incarnate Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made....And the Word was made flesh (the incarnate Christ), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
Heb. 1:1-4 explains, "GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days (last with respect to the whole seven 1000-year days, the half-way mark being past) spoken unto us by (en, in) his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."
Terrible times are coming. The worst seven years since there was a nation will, I think, start with the confirming of a seven-year peace covenant on the Feast of Weeks, May 28, 2001. On the 2300th day (Dan. 8:14) of the seven-year Tribulation, I think an asteroid (probably a binary; Rev. 8:8,10) will strike Earth destroying civilization as we know it. You should want to escape before that. The Rapture gives you that chance.
Luke 21:36 says, "WATCH ye therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS, that ye may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS (the Tribulation) that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." The word for escape is EKPHEUGO, "escape OUT OF or AWAY FROM." We get our word EXIT from the prefix, "EK." Strong's gives "vanish" as an alternate meaning for EKPHEUGO. From ESCAPE to VANISH, not the slightest hint of "survive through." Agape
Incoming Email Sadly I think you will mistaken er only joking you are right really
My reply Hope so, but right or wrong about the day, it can't be long. We must stay in the Ark (Christ) until the Lord says, "Go forth." We must send forth the raven (evil) and not receive him back. Instead, we must receive the dove (Holy Spirit) back. He will bring us olive leaves (peace) while we wait patiently for him to do his work. Agape
