dear sir U just came across your letter on the internet about the rapture. I found it mind boggling and it made my stomach churn.

I am a christain but I have done things that have comprised my christianity. I have been leading a life full of sin and fooling myself that I could have seen about my own self and stop doing the things that zi have been doing on my own & without the grace of god. Tell me kind sir, what can I do to reoccupy my place with the lord. This article had me thinking and I do not want to be left behind at all. I am going to repent and wait on the lord. Would that be all I have to do?? Please write and tell me, Thank you

My reply

The Lord Jesus Christ is the judge, not me, but we can trust in his promises. His word tells us "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness" (I John 1:9).

At the time of a feast of the Jews, "Jesus went up to Jerusalem" (John 5:1). Right by the sheep market was a pool called Bethesda, which means the house of pity or mercy. There, Jesus healed a man "which had an infirmity thirty and eight years" (v. 5), but first, Jesus asked him, "Wilt thou be made whole?" (v. 6). Afterward, the man "took up his bed, and walked: AND ON THE SAME DAY WAS THE SABBATH" (v. 9). Afterward, Jesus found the man "in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (v. 14).

I did not mean to capitalize the above. It just happened. Neither the shift key nor caps lock key was down. This has happened to me several times, evidently to emphasize something. In the past, I have wondered if these caps started when I capitalized a letter, but as you can see in the King James Version, Scofield Reference Bible, this "and" is not capitalized in John 5:9. I wouldn't have used the shift key at all.

This particular capitalization is very interesting to me because tomorrow, Sivan 7, 5759, our May 22, 1999, is both the Sabbath and a feast day, Pentecost. In the heading preceding John 5, Scofield said, "The feast (Pentecost?): the pool of Bethesda, and healing."

I have been wondering if this feast could be Pentecost because John 4:35 says, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?" We are wheat, and the wheat harvest begins on Pentecost. The huge gamma ray burster was seen four months ago, on Jan. 23, 1999 too. Gen. 6:3 said of man, "yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." It is interesting that Jan. 23 plus 120 days, counted by Jewish inclusive reckoning is May 22, 1999.

John 5:13 says that "Jesus had conveyed himself away." He both came and went away, but that man was "made whole." Then, in verse 15, we find, "The man departed." There may be more in this passage than we realized. It makes me wonder. Verse 25 may be revealing. Jesus said, "Verily, verily (which means that this is important), I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live."

I was planning to quote "sin no more" to you and found more than I bargained for. The Lord is good and full of mercy. Get right with Him and "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Lu. 21:36).

MJ, I've followed your site for almost two years now. What a blessing you are.

I was looking up at the moon tonight as it was edgeing closer to leo. The moon is half full this weekend. Do you suppose there is any correlation to the parable of the virgins in this? (only half went up)?

Wether it's this year or 100 years from now, I'm ever grateful for your exhaustive research. I will continue to watch patiently with you no matter how long it takes.

My reply

Thanks. Glad you like my site.

> Do you suppose there is any correlation to the parable of the
> virgins in this? (only half went up)?

Yes, it is possible. The Moon is thought to be a type of the Church that reflects the light of the Sun that comes as a Bridegroom (Christ). He is the "Sun of righteousness" that will "arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall GO FORTH (as Noah left the Ark), and GROW UP as calves of the stall" (Mal. 4:2). If this "GO FORTH" represents the Rapture, this sounds like the children will grow up in Heaven.

I had a dream once of Ed's grandmother in Heaven. She was in a kitchen cooking with children all around her. That was so typical of her. She loved to cook and loved children. I'll have to wait until I get there to see if that is realistic or not. Anyway, Jesus said to suffer the little children to come unto him for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Agape

Matthew 24:29 reads in the New American Standard translation, "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken."

You are probably aware of the fact that the greek word translated as "heavens" in this passage is "ouranos" (G3772) and that this same word is the root origin of the english word uranium? Substitute that back into the text and it reads, "... the powers of uraniumiwill be shaken."

Now that would be quite an interesting use of language. Having foreknowledge of how the greek language would evolve, God uses it to obscure the full meaning of this prophesy until it was time to be revealed. It is a prophesy that that would not make sense to any people on earth until the atomic age -- our age -- an age when the atom could be split, when uranium would be used to create atomic bombs. It could be all the more significant because Matthew 24 is talking about terrible war, tribulation such as has never been seen before, and the end of the age. And that is exactly what an atomic war would produce. Mankind literally shakes "the powers of heaven" (ouranos) every time we test an atomic bomb or split an atom in a nuclear power plant.

Is that a genuine end-time sign? Taken by itself, it sure seems so. Did God actually use the language that way? I don't know. It's certainly within His power to do so, but I would feel better about it if I could relate it back to Israel in some way, or to the Hebrew. But it is an interesting observation. Hope to meet you soon in His Glory.

My reply

Since I think "THE STARS (asteres, asteroids) WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers (forces) of the heavens will be shaken" as the Millennium begins, I don't connect it up with atomic explosions. However, since there will be a worldwide earthquake, it could cause problems with atomic reactors too.

Dear Girl, The new Clinton installed PM of Israel is Ehud Barak. Barak in Hebrew means "Flash of Lightening" Maybe the appearance of this critter on the world stage is another sign that the rapture is imminant. Agape Love and thank you!

My reply

Maybe so, but he is not the final one. Rev. 17:10 says, "and the other is not yet come." That is at the time of the Rapture for the ten kings "have received no kingdom as yet" (v. 12). When the Tribulation comes in Rev. 13:1, all ten kings are crowned.

...I imagine you must be very busy...Your example, 2 Thess. 2:2 would seem to re-inforce the accuracy of KJV from your own book. On page 129 of Exit, you write "the day of Christ [day of the Rapture]; also, in the Blue Letter Bible, which is of tremendous help to me, it says "Christos" which look like XPLOTOS in Greek; Strongs #5547, should it not be "day of Christ" ?

My reply

No. The two Raptures are called days of Christ, or days of the Son of Man. However, the passage in II Thess. 2:2 is not talking about the Rapture, it is talking about the millennial Day of the Lord. Most of the major original manuscripts have it as Day of the Lord. I know that the Sinaitic Codex, the Vatican Codex, and the Alexandrine Codex all have Day of the Lord.

The very literal Concordant Version has "day of the Lord." So does the Berkeley Version, the New Jerusalem Bible, the Lamsa Bible, and the NIV. I didn't look at the rest on my shelf.

On p. 129, I was quoting Phil. 1:9-11. That is talking about the Day of Christ, the Rapture. II Thess. 2:2 is not. It is talking about the Day of the Lord, the Millennium. They are not interchangeable terms.

Hoping for the Rapture this weekend. Agape

Food for Thought-
....I get Personal Update published by Koinonia House. In the issue that just came, May 1998, is a very good article discussing the Feast of Shavout / Pentecost. It states in part, "The Feast of Pentecost was, of course, prophetic of the birth of the church. Yet, could it be even more? This day is also regarded as Enoch's birthday. There is also a tradition, from Kabbalistic grounds, that he was "translated" on his birthday. Could Enoch be a "type" -or foreshadowing- of the harpazo of the Church? Is it possible that the church will also be 'translated" on it's birthday, too?"

7 Day Sign?
Also, I have been patiently waiting for a sign from God letting his Bride know 7 days before Pentecost, in allusion to Noah, if this really was the time of the Bride being taken. Although the "living" water springing up on the temple mount would indeed be such a sign, it appears now that this event started before then. That leaves in my mind the defeat of Netenyahu. His election would not have served as a sign. Runoff elections later would not have served as a sign. As late as last week this election Monday was the only event I saw on the horizon to "forewarn" us. It seemed to me he was predestined to lose but I was troubled by this being at the most only 6 days away from Pentecost. However, come to find out on Sunday, May 16th, Center Party leader Yitzhak Mordechai pulled out of the race and gave his endorsement to Barak. It was reported - "In a move certain to benefit Labor leader Ehud Barak and perhaps hand him a first-round victory, Center Party leader Yitzhak Mordechai has pulled out of the race for prime minister, a day before Israelis go to the polls.". Looks to me like a sign after all.

7 day/4 month/7 month/7 times 4 month/7 times 7 year/Signs??? A lot of 7's and 4's. Taking the meanings of 7 and 4 in the Bible one could conclude that if this is pointing to the rapture of the bride that this is also a sign leading to God's completeness or bringing to an end (7) the first creation (4). Your Pros and Cons have detailed the 4 month, (Jan 23, 1999), 7 month, (Oct 23, 1998), and 49 year, (1950). It may have also brought out the 7 times 4 = 28 months sign. At the risk of being redundant:

(CNN) -- An exceedingly rare planetary alignment will take place Thursday, (January 23, 1997)... For the first time since the Renaissance, the heavens will briefly line up in a perfect six-pointed star -- a galactic Star of David. ...The last time the alignment took place was in 1475....

Anyway, since the Star of Bethlehem appeared to have preceeded the birth of Christ by two years, based on Herod's inquiry of the Wise Men in Matthew 2:16, this Star of David was a sign for preceeding something else by two years which points to January 23, 1999.

What ties in 28 months which brings us to May 23, 1999 is Don Kistler's "The Arithmetic of God" book. In the last paragraph under the number 28 he states, "The 28th time that Noah's name occurs in Genesis 8:15-16, it states, "And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee." As Noah and his family entered the ark, we picture them passing into eternal life and entering the blessed age to come." Food for thought. -Shalom!

My reply

Thanks for all the food for thought. I remember the galactic Star of David. I had just failed to note the date. Interesting that it was Jan. 23, 1997. The wise men seeing a new star two years before Christ's first coming could tie in with the gamma ray burster in Bootes (meaning HE COMES) on Jan. 23, 1999. It took the wise men four months to travel to Bethlehem after they saw the star. From Jan. 23 to May 23 is four months.

Speaking of the Star of David, have you seen the picture of the top of Saturn that shows a polar hexagon? I'll see if I can attach it for you. One seems to be showing up deep in the Sun too. Strange.

Note: If we are caught up on the birthday of the church, it will be appropriate. The Tribulation saints will, I think, be caught up on Jesus' birthday.

Many Thanks- No I had not seen the star on top of Saturn or the Sun and the picture you sent came out great. In His Love
Note: It is a NASA picture. Takes 2 Megs to open. I can't put it here and don't have the URL where I found it. I have to close most applications to even open it on my computer. Here is what it says, "NASA Solar 'Acoustic Seismology' Discovers Identical 'Hyperdimensional Signature Beneath Sun's Surface to 'Polar Hexagon Found by Voyager on Saturn' 76-Degree 'Polar Hexagon.'" My email friend in Finland is the one that told me about the one on Saturn. It seems that the one in the Sun would qualify as a sign in the Sun.

Christ is the Sun of Righteousness. I think his planet is Saturn, the third heaven (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn). The Star of David being represented on both makes sense. The Moon has been said to represent the Church reflecting the light of the Sun, the Bridegroom. Tonight, May 21, the Moon is going to occult the King Star Regulus, which means THE TREADING UNDERFOOT, in Leo, i.e., the lion of the tribe of Judah. In the pictorial Zodiac, Leo's feet are fending off Hydra, the snake. By the 23rd, the Moon will be near Denebola (in the tail of Leo), which means THE JUDGE OR LORD WHO COMES QUICKLY. Leo's head is touching the Greater Sheepfold, and the sheep are streaming out the doorway and out the handle of what we call the Big Dipper. Leo's head touching the Greater Sheepfold fits for Christ is the head of the Body of Christ, the Church. One of the stars of Leo is Sarcam, THE JOINING. Very expressive.

in reading your correspondence concerning water coming from the temple mount, i wonder in Ezekiel 47 v1-12 what significance the measurements of 1000 cubits or 1500 is,it is mentioned 4 times= 4000 cubits or 6000 ft could it be a measurement of time instead, also Israel just elected a new leader his name (Barak) i wonder if there is any ties to Barak in Judges chp 4.

just wondering,God bless, keep up the good work

My reply

Let's see. 1000 cubits x 18 inches = 18,000 inches divided by 12 = 1500 feet. 1500 x 4 = 6000 feet. If we apply this to years, it could have an application. If this were the 6000th year, and water began to flow from the temple mount in the 6000th year, there would be a tie in.

However, if that were the case, what would the 480th year mark in the modern parallels? It pointed to 5758, which I think was the 6000th year. I Kings 6:1 says that in the 480th year, the son of David began to raise up the temple. Since we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, I expected to be raised up in 5758. I wonder what "began" really refers to in this respect. Since Noah was began to be raised up on the water in his 600th year and came out of the Ark in his 601st, this year makes sense to be the 6001st year, and 5758 the 6000th.

I don't know if there is a tie in with Barak. I don't think the False Prophet will be in power at the time of the Rapture, though. Rev. 17:10 says, "one is, and the other is not yet come." I take this to be the two beasts of Rev. 13. The first is in power at the time of the Rapture, the second is not.

Marilyn, I just wanted to say how much I love you. In case, I don't get to talk with you anymore. I will be praying for you and your family. I hope He comes soon. I'm always feeling like I missed a sin here or there that I forgot about and didn't confess, so I don't have full confidence about myself. But I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for guiding me back to Our Lord. In Christ, Respectfully

My reply

Thanks. We have to hang tight, no matter how long we have to wait. Never give up. I'm sure hoping the Rapture is soon, but if not, I will stay strong and never give up. I know who the Lord Jesus Christ really is, the Almighty himself (Rev. 1:8; Isa. 9:6). There is no possibility of change.

Please read I John 1:9 again. If the Holy Spirit did not bring something to your attention, and you confess what you can think of, he is faithful and just to cleanse you of ALL unrighteousness. Also, read II Peter 1:4-11: "for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

I visited the link referred to in Sharon Kaiser's email, it is the Temple Mount home page run by Gershon Salomon. I couldn't find any of the updated reports about water flowing from the Temple Mount. I have posted an email directly to Gershon Salomon asking him whether he could again confirm these reports and if so how he was able to verify them. Awaiting his response. I visited the other site re : the face of Jesus in a Tornado and this picture is indeed authentic and amazing. A picture of the Tornado on April 24th has been flipped onto its side and appears like an image of Jesus with his arm outstreched. In his love

Thanks. I'm interested in what you hear about the water.

The first time I looked at the picture, I looked at the wrong part, the light part. The next time, I looked at the shadowed part. Then I saw what you saw at:

Note: I went back to show it to Ed and David. A black rectangle covered the main parts of both pictures. They didn't get to see it.

FWD: Subject: Cassie Burnall, By Dr. Ed Tropp,
associate pastor of Circle Drive Baptist Church, Colorado Springs, CO

More about Cassie Burnall, who gave her life for Christ at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. What the news is not reporting is the revival that's begun. There were 2 other backslidden Christian kids in that library while people were getting killed, who watched her step up and give her life and came out and vowed never to compromise their faith again as long as they lived. Christian kids that were in public schools in the whole area that had been embarrassed because they wanted to be cool, didn't want to stand up for Christ, have all opened their mouths this week and there are hundreds of teenagers turning to Christ. They don't want to hear about peer counseling and psychology, they're falling on their knees and crying out to Jesus Christ. In this group that gathered with the soccer team to pray, a little girl stood up to preach the gospel and all of these kids got on their knees and accepted Jesus Christ. Churches have been filled every night, all week. For the first time, all the youth pastors in the area are meeting together on Monday, all the senior pastors are meeting on Tuesday, what you're not hearing about is, there is a revival. One girl stood forward and said, 'I believe in Jesus', and what that has done in the hearts of the people in this community is unbelievable. What the news isn't reporting is what they don't understand, a revival has begun.

One life.

Lord, give me the courage of a 17 year old, not just to die for Jesus, but to live for Jesus....Joshua 23:14

Re: Temple Mount: Water from Rock
> The Temple Mount Faithful are the ones that have tried repeatedly to lay the > cornerstone for the temple. This year, they are going to offer the two > loaves for the Pentecost offering for the first time too.

[Isn't this all incredible. Just this past winter, a group in Israel have started 'Santifying' the moon every month, in accordance with Biblical Customs. And now, there is probably Water coming from the Rock. I posted on the Doves that the water, if the rumor is true, would have started on the first weekend in May. On the Jewish Calender, this was the 15th day of the Second month. This is the Second Passover, which a person could observe if they 'missed' the First Passover. And this is like the Second offering of the New covenant to Israel. And now the Temple Mount Faithful, under a Biblically Santified Moon are going to offer the Two Loaves of Bread, even with out the Temple! Talking about Anticipation. This is such an incredibly fantastic time to be alive!]

David Hill wrote:

I was just looking at the calender and noticed some other important events that correspond with this water from the Rock on the Temple mount.

As well as this being the Time of the Second Passover, it is also the time that the Windows of Heaven were opened, and the Rains poured out, during Noah's flood. This is the same weekend!

And on top of that, this is also the same weekend that the Manna started fallen from Heaven onto the Israelites. Indeed, this can hardly be coincidence, at this is going to be a major milestone in God's plan for Israel in these endtimes.

My reply

The rain began "in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month" (Gen. 7:11). Chances are that it was Cheshvan 17, since the Sacred calendar started later, at the Exodus. Iyar 17 was Monday, May 3, 1999, if we should interpolate the Sacred Calendar backward.

"The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it" (the second Passover) (Nu. 9:11). Fri. Apr. 30, was Iyar 14.

Ex. 16:1,8, tells us that it was "the fifteenth day of the second month," then the manna appeared in the morning. Verse 7 says, "And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD." I assume that it appeared on Iyar 16.

I do wish we knew exactly when the water started to flow. Anyway, we know it was recently. First, the red heifer, now the water. Israel should realize that Messiah ben David is near.

Shalom and Hag Shavu'ot Samay'ach (Peace and Happy Pentecost)

HARPAZO, to seize upon suddenly, with force. At the Rapture, Jesus will come quickly (Rev. 2:5; 22:20) and catch us up with his power.

Philip seems to have played out the Rapture. He baptized the eunuch of Ethiopia after the following exchange of words in Acts 8:37. "Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest (be baptized), And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Verse 39 says, "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away (harpazo, to seize upon suddenly, with force) Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more. It happened suddenly, and there was no body left behind. It was nearly as with Enoch: "he was not; for God took him" (Gen. 5:24). Afterward, Philip was found at Azotus, which means theft. He was picturing our being stolen away.

It reminds me of Mt. 24:43, "But know this, that if the goodman (minister) of the house (church) had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up." Thus, to the one that is not watching, the Rapture will come as a surprise.

That is exactly what will happen at the Rapture. We are to be "caught up (harpazo) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air" (I Thess. 4:17).

In Rev. 12:5, Israel's child is "caught up (harpazo) unto God, and to his throne. This is another picture of a Rapture. I think it is when Moses and Elijah are resurrected and told "Come up hither...they ascended up to heaven" (Rev. 11:12). This "Come up hither" is heard also at the Pre-Trib Rapture in Rev. 4:1. Thus HARPAZO (to seize upon suddenly, with force) is associated with the words "Come up hither."

Paul himself was very likely the man who was "caught up (harpazo) to the third heaven" in II Cor. 12:2. Harpazo definitely means being caught up forcefully to Heaven. Here we see it clearly.

This being caught up may happen all at once all around the world. In Lu. 17:34, two men are in bed. In v. 35, two women are grinding. In v. 36, two men are in the field. Thus, there may be night on one side of the world and day on the other.

Found on 5Doves site: Eric Casagrande (19 May) "Jubilee Trumpet Date"

...I believe Ola is correct in stating that God's calendar probably runs based on the Holy City of Jerusalem, rather than Israel in general.

However, I would like to point out that, if this is correct, and if Jerusalem truly celebrated the starting of its Jubilee (50th) Year on March 18, 1999, then it seems to me - according to Scripture - that the Jubilee Trumpet would be blown on September 20th, 1999, which would be the subsequent Day of Atonement (10th day of 7th month).

Here is what is written in God's Word:

"And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Then [I.E. AFTER THE 49 YEARS HAVE PASSED] thou shalt cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the [I.E. OBVIOUSLY UPCOMING] tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land."

- Leviticus 25: 8 - 9

Clearly the Scriptures state that there must be a "space" of 49 years in length, BEFORE the Jubilee Trumpet is blown on the seventh day of the 10th month (Day of Atonement). It doesn't say to blow it in the 49th year, but rather, after THE SPACE of 49 years.

At any rate, I totally agree with Ola, concerning the true measurement and timing of the Year of Jubilee. This is certainly going to be an interesting year, one way or another!

Yours In The Blood, Eric Casagrande

My reply

I think the trumpet of the Jubilee is to be sounded on the Day of Atonement in the 49th year. Then the Jubilee year starts the following Nisan 1, first day of the Sacred Year.

If the year of Jubilee was announced on the Day of Atonement after it had already run for half a year, it would not be an announcement of the coming year of Jubilee. It would be an announcement of half a year of Jubilee. That wouldn't work. It must be announced BEFORE the year of Jubilee commences, so people can do the things required of them during that year.

I think Nisan 1, 5759 (Mar. 18, 1999) started the 72nd Jubilee (counted from the Exodus) which would run to Nisan 1, 5760 (Apr. 6, 2000). If the Rapture is on this Pentecost, it would be in the 72nd Jubilee Year. That would be appropriate.
