Re: The Virgin Parable (have you thought of it this way).
This is ---- ---- of Cornwall England...My walk with the Lord is great and I feel very close to Him and I have not lost heart over the weekend. Infact quite the opposite, the attack as we all know about has been rampant but my family have all been keeping faith throughout.

We all know that you are a true saint and that has not changed, I think we all feel as you do and know that all you had done was give us a goal. I can boldly say that GOAL hasn't changed we still have the same great prize waiting to be awarded and I will keep on running till I see the glory of Heaven!!!

I will now get to how I have been feeling and what the Lord has been showing me. Yesterday when I see that we are all still here I started to think about why, so it started me off praying, asking the Lord to confirm something in me. I then had it brought to mind about the 10 virgins parable and couldn't believe that I hadn't thought about it before. You see they were virgins when they went out to meet the bridegroom which means that they must already had a year of testing to see if they were pure or not, then when they went out to meet him He tarried. This would be us now as we went out after our year but now He is tarring. If I remember rightly you were putting both the year of purification and the tarring as the year between 98/99. As you can see they must of had a year before they went out to meet bridegroom and then he tarried, which there is no indication of how long he tarried for. It won't of been long just enough to separate the wise from the foolish which fits this time very well because I feel that the Lord wanted you to say a date as so many foolish will go off to buy more oil because they will think that they have time to go, but while they're gone the Bridegroom will call and those that are wise who kept their lamps filled will be ready because they didn't lose sight and they will go through the door and it will be shut! As you have said there is still time for the Lord to come and HE WILL COME so we have to keep our eyes on Him and keep our lamps filled so that we are wise virgins and go through the open door! I hope you are both well and keep up the pro's and con's we are still here reading them only this time we will just go and the foolish will be left because they will relax and forget to keep their lamps filled. I pray that this time of tarring is a short one and that we will meet you soon, maybe tonight maybe tomorrow but it is closer than we first thought!

In his love and will may you be greatly blessed. Agape your brethren in Christ

My reply

I am glad you are keeping the faith. That is the most important of all. We must withstand whatever time of testing is left us.

My faith is strong. My body is not. Our weather change from the thunderstorm to sunny 86 degrees has triggered headache and pain in various places. Eating things I am sensitive to didn't help either. I am going through a time of such muscular cramping, especially bad from my hips to my toes, that I am terribly uncomfortable. My shoulders and even my knuckles ached last night, so I didn't put the HTML on a Pro and Con so I could UL it. Who knows, maybe it is for a reason. Maybe this is supposed to go on it before I UL it. Only the Lord knows. At least my hands are ok this morning. Otherwise, I ache, but am better off sitting up using cold packs than lying down trying to rest.

This is what is going on in my mind this morning. It might tie in with your thoughts. Even though Sivan 7 seems more likely for Pentecost when I consider what Josephus said, I can't get around the fact that, by inclusive reckoning, 2300 days before the Feast of Trumpets on Sept. 13, 2007 is Sivan 6. Because it is by inclusive reckoning, it can't come out on Sivan 7.

The Sign of the End of the Age was the Six-Day War in 1967, and 1967 + 40 = 2007. Scripture shows that the Day of God's Wrath is on the Feast of Trumpets (Mal. 2:3; Joel 2:1-3). Sept. 13, 1993, the Oslo Accords were signed. Sept. 13, 1993 + 14 (7 good years and 7 bad) = Sept. 13, 2007. Those Accords were ratified in Israel three days later, on Tishri 1. Tishri 1, 5754 + 14 = Tishri 1, 5768, which is Sept. 13, 2007. From Tishri 1, 5768 to Nisan 1, 5768 is the necessary seven months (Eze. 39:14) for the Jews to bury the dead to cleanse the land for the Lord's return on the first day of the first month (Eze. 29:17,21) of the Regnal and Sacred Year. This is because 5768 is a Jewish leap year. Thus, in my head, I can see no way that these dates could be changed.

The beginning of the Seventieth Week of Daniel on the Feast of Weeks seems like the kind of thing the Lord would do. This keeps bringing me back to Sivan 6 for the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost, just as it is on the Jewish Talmudic Calendar.

Last year was the 480th year of the modern parallels (5278 + 480 = 5758). I am convinced that it was an important marker year for something. There is no 481st or 482nd year mentioned in Scripture that could mark the Rapture. I think the 480th year was 6000th year of man's test being mortal and knowing both good and bad.

It still seems that May 31, 1998, Sivan 6, 5758 (meaning the season of Noah) was a marker date in the 6000th year. It fit the four years (5758, 5759, 5760, and 5761) that the Lord would watch for ripe fruit on the fig tree (Israel) before the Tribulation would begin on the Feast of Weeks in 2001. Noah went into the Ark in his 600th year. He was told "Go forth" in his 601st year, just a fraction shy of a full 365 day year later. Could the waters of the Flood also indicate that the Lord has been watching closely this year? As soon as "the earth dried...God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth" (Gen. 8:14-16). When the water, which represents the Spirit of Christ, is gone from the Earth, and Noah is told to "Go forth," does it represent the Rapture at the end of 365 days? Gen. 5:23 says, "An all the DAYS of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

In II Thess. 2:7, we can see that the salt of the Earth and the Holy Spirit quit restraining the appearance of the Wicked One before his appearing. When the earth was dried in Noah's day and Noah went forth, did it represent the Holy Spirit taking to Bride of Christ to Heaven before the Wicked One is revealed? Since the Holy Spirit is represented by water, the Earth being dried fits the Rapture very well.

If May 31, 1998 marked our figuratively entering the Ark, 365 days later is May 31, 1999 (Sivan 16). I counted the actual days twice to make sure. This is 10 days after Sivan 6. Could these 10 days be the 10 days of Rev. 2:10? May 30 is the Greek Orthodox Pentecost. May 30 is Memorial Day, which is now kept on May 31. On this day, we remember those that have gone on to be with the Lord ahead of us. I wonder if it is possible that we might see those people on May 31.

Later, after Cardiac Rehab. I have been wanting to know how long it took the Israelites to journey from Sinai to Kadesh-barnea, from where they went in to spy out the promised land, so I looked at it again this afternoon at Rehab. This took place in the SECOND YEAR after they left Egypt, thus it could fit this 6001st year very nicely. Nu. 10:33 says, "they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey." Nu. 12:14-16 says, "let her (Miriam) be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again....and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again. And afterward the people removed from Hazaroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran." From there, 12 men, representing the 12 tribes, went into the promised land, "And moses called Oshea the sun of Nun (the eternal) Jehoshua (YHVH is Saviour). And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you UP this way southward, and GO UP INTO THE MOUNTAIN: And see the land...Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes. So they went UP" (Nu. 13:16-21). If I am figuring right, the 3 days journey plus the 7 days they waited for Miriam to be allowed back in camp was 10 days. This agrees with the 10 days of Rev. 2:10, adding to the probability that we might go up on the 10th day after Sivan 6.

I also looked at Ex. 20 and 24. Ex. 20:18,20, in the New Scofield Reference Bible, says, "And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings." We had thunder and lightning May 22, so verse 20 hit me good. It says, And Moses said unto the people, Fear not; for God is come to TEST YOU, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not."

In Ex. 24:15-18 (NSRB), I found this. It says, "Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. And the glory of the LORD abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it SIX DAYS (6000 years?); and the seventh day (6001st year?) he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud...And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and got UP into the mount."

I am sure going to be watching again on May 31, as last year. Millennial peace seems to start on that date in 2008. Maybe the Rapture will take place on that date in the second year. It is 365 days after Sivan 6, 5758 (the 6000th year). That ties in with Enoch's age when he was raptured. It is 10 days after Sivan 6, 5759, the 6001st year. That ties in with Rev. 2:10, which says, "ye shall have tribulation ten days." Green's Interlinear says, "And you shall have ten days of trials." This fits Ex. 20:20 (NSRB): "for God is come to TEST you." We have to stand strong no matter how long it takes.

Other things of interest come to mind. The mind-boggling huge GRB of Jan. 23, 1999 was in the tip of the spear of Bootes, which means HE COMETH. The star near where the GRB was is Al Kalurops, which means THE SHEPHERD'S CROOK, OR THE BRANCH TREADING UNDERFOOT.

Psa. 104:19 says, " He appointed the MOON for seasons: the SUN (Sun of righteousness, Christ, Mal. 4:2) knoweth his going down." May 23, the Moon was close to Denebola in Leo, which stands for Christ, the lion of the tribe of Judah. Denebola means THE JUDGE OR LORD WHO COMES QUICKLY. It was two days after the Moon got our attention when it occulted Regulus, the king star.

There is a north polar hexagon on Saturn, photographed by Voyager. Now the Enterprise Mission has detected one at the pole under the surface of the Sun. We have had blood moons on feast days. Aren't we seeing signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars? Lots of food for thought. Agape

KEEP ON KEEPING ON
I am writing to encourage you to continue unwavering in your study, despite the passing of Pentecost without IThess 4:17 being fulfilled yet.

I sent an e-mail to you on February 24/99, and have studied your findings on the web since. All of your study is truth to me, that is the Holy Spirit that resides in me. Let me share some signs I have witnessed.

My daughter ---, who is 3 years old has told my wife during her bath, "When is the water going to turn to blood", and to me "we are going to die and live a thousand years". Both times she said she did not know where this came from.

My wife ---, saw a red light with rainbow color on the ceiling of our bedroom yesterday, despite all the curtains being closed, no lights on in the room, and no pieces of glass, lamps, or anything that would create it from refraction.

Myself, ---, was watching In Touch Ministries about a month ago, and near the end of the program, as I was semi recilined on the sofa, was being lifted out of my body towards the ceiling.

My other daughter --- (7), my wife, and myself had all had the exact same dream in the last few months, being on a ship of some sort, in the midst of a terrible high sea outside the windows, but totally calm inside. I believe this to be a vessel in the manner of Noah's, with us safely contained inside. These dreams were all independently occuring, at times over a month apart, without any knowledge from each other, until we started talking one day about them.

The rapture is no mystery to any of us, it could happen before I send this e-mail, or it could happen anytime. It is certainly the next event on God's propehecy, since the seven major events such as Israel 1948, Jerusalem 1967, satellite TV to show the two slain in Jerusalem when it happens, the information and technology expolsion and more all coming to pass.

Let us all pray for the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and touch in Jesus precious name, Amen.

Also, I know it is a simple answer, could you explain why you answer with the word "agape", it is not in my Strong's Concordance. Blessings

My reply

Thanks for your encouragement and sharing all this with me.

Wow! I finally found it. In all this mountain of email, I knew I saw somewhere that someone didn't understand what agape was. I wanted to address that first, but it took all the daylight hours and then some to find it.

In the love chapter, I Cor. 13 (KJV), the first three verses say, "THOUGH I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not CHARITY, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not CHARITY, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not CHARITY, it profiteth me nothing." The chapter ends with "And now abideth faith, hope, CHARITY, these three; but the greatest of these is CHARITY."

Col. 3:12-16 says, "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on CHARITY, WHICH IS THE BOND OF PERFECTNESS. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom."

The word translated CHARITY is #26 in Strong's. In Greek, it is "agape," love. It refers to God's love. God is love. It is one of his attributes. If we are filled with the Spirit of God, we are filled with AGAPE.

AGAPE is used in John 3:16: "For God so LOVED the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

It is used in John 13:34,35: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye LOVE one another; as I have LOVED you, that ye also LOVE one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have LOVE one to another."

There is phileo, to be a friend; philadelphos, loving one's brethren; philadelphia, love of the brethren; philoteknos, love of children; philandros, love of husband; philanthropia, love of mankind; etc.

AGAPE is more special. It is God's great love flowing through us by means of his Spirit to others.

It is used in Eph. 5:25: "Husbands, LOVE your wives, even as Christ also LOVED the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

I agree with you to "pray for the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and touch in Jesus precious name, Amen."

I read with interest your P/C 325, but have a problem with the post from Troy. Here's where I have the problem:

To seal is 'to seperate', just as we will be seperated from this world at the rapture.. if we take this thought into Esther 8 : 9 it cast a a new light on what is written there. "that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof;". In otherword this is referring to May 23rd. This is the day the all the scribes are BROUGHT TOGETHER to write and SEAL all that Mordecai instructs them. Just as Mordecai used the kings seal on the 23rd day of Sivan, so also, I hope, will the King of Kings seal us along with Christ into heaven & everlasting life on the 23rd Day of Sivan, 1999.

Now I'm wondering - how can you equate May with the Jewish month of Sivan? Sivan is the 10th month in the Jewish calendar.

Another point - May 23rd, 1999 does not cross over to Sivan 23. May 23rd, 1999 is Sivan 8, 5759. And Sivan 23, 5759 is June 7th, 1999. Here's a website to verify these numbers: Calendar Conversions -
http://genealogy.org/~scottlee/calconvert.cgi.

I was just wondering how we can relate Sivan 23rd to May 23rd. Maranatha!

My reply

Well, I am still waiting for the Rapture. It can't be far off. First likely time could be the Greek Orthodox Pentecost, Sunday May 30. Second that comes to mind would be still in the time of the firstripe grapes, when the Israelites went in to spy out the land.

We can't relate Sivan 23, 5759 with May 23, 1999. They don't match up. Sivan 8 was May 23 this year. Sivan 23 is truly June 7.

> Sivan is the 10th month in the Jewish calendar.

That's true on the Civil calendar that starts with Tishri. However, Sivan is the third month of the Jewish Sacred Calendar that started at the Exodus--Nisan, Iyar, Sivan. Agape and Maranatha

I've been enjoying your website and agree 100% that the rapture of just the firstfruit Christians are on a Pentecost. Could the rapture be this May 30, 1999 which is the Greek Orthodox Pentecost? I would appreciate a response from you on this possibility! God bless you

My reply

That is the next particular date that I am watching to see what will happen. It ties in with Samuel tarrying seven days in I Sam. 13:8. Saul did foolishly. We must not, even though it be as in those days when Samuel "camest not within the days appointed" (I Sam. 13:11). Agape

There was a thunderstrom here in Little Rock as well, and those verses were also going through my mind. And actully, I was expecting this for the Rapture, so I was pretty excited! Have you ever sat down during a thunderstorm and read Elihu's words out of Job? It is quite an experience! As well, your letter is prophetic of this coming week...

I don't think that it is a coincidence that the Lord brought you to that passage in Samuel, where Saul couldn't tarry for his arrival. The Lord brought that same passage to my mind as well. And I was thinking about this and was wondering...

The Church age is divided up into seven periods by the Seven Letters in Revelation. As well, my interpretation of Daniel Four also divides the Church age up into Seven Times.

So, that being the case, is it not possible that, since the Church age began on Pentecost proper, that the Church Age might end, Seven Days after Pentecost? Still within the Pentecost Season?

Maybe you could check on this for me, since I don't have my Edersheim any more. I think that I have read that, although in the Bible there is only one day set aside for Pentecost, the Jews would habitually keep the Holiday for Seven Days, as they did for Passover and Tabernacles. This might be important, and only further emphasises that no man can 'know' the day.

And this brings up two other points. We are being taught patience to tarry for the Lord, as you have pointed out. And here we have one more period of testing, in which a Final Separation of the Bride will take place. Those who really are not tarrying, will stop watching. And this is what they will say, "My Lord Delayeth His Return!" I think that you will see (more than others will see it) that this next week, alot of Believers are going to be fulfilling this parable. They will start 'beating' the servants, cause they really don't want to wait. You are probably going to see alot of this MJ. Don't let it discourage you, instead let it remind you to Tarry, and wait for Him. For the more letters you receive with this attitude, certainly the more it supports our belief that This Is The Year of The Redeemed, and that This is the Season of Joy! So, when these brothers and sisters start 'beating' on you. Don't respond in kind (as I know you wouldn't!) just send that parable to them and thank them for the encouragement!

As well, there will be unbelievers who are going to say, "What is the Sign of His Coming?" I think that you are going to see alot of these as well MJ. And it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them use those EXACT WORDS. And if this does in fact occur, then rejoice greatly! And let me know too! And then respond to them with that passage of Scripture and thank them for the encouragement.

I think that you can agree with me, that One More Week, is definately worth Tarrying for. And, in other parts of the World, like China, where they are on fire for the Lord, this one week might add alot of brothers and sisters into our Family of Faith. Surely, we can Tarry another week. If no one else wants to tarry with us, then so be it. We will tarry with the Saints in Smyrna, with patience and joy.

Take heart MJ, this IS the Season of our Joy, and this IS The Year of the Redeemed.
Your brother (in Christ), who tarries with you in Yeshua Messiah

P.S. I don't know why I include this to you, or if it will mean anything to you, but in the Bible, The Kinsman Redeemer is also The Avenger of Blood...

It is possible. So is the time until they went in to spy out the land. That was still the time of the firstripe grapes. Nothing I have found mentions keeping Pentecost for a week.

> Don't let it discourage you

Don't worry. I don't get discouraged easily. Thanks for all the good advise.

Any amount of time is worth tarrying for. This is an eternity to rejoice that we are talking about here. :-) Agape and Maranatha

Re: KEEP ON KEEPING ON
1 Sam 12:17: Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send THUNDER and RAIN; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great (the people have rejected God and wanted a king), which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.

Romans 4:20: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Marilyn, the rapture is at hand no matter what! This Pentecost, tomorrow, next week, or next Pentecost. Keep the faith and keep charging the Web/Internet with Jesus and His soon coming. I have been faithful to delivering your same message and trust me, there are a lot of good Christians out here unwise and short of oil and/or, not looking/watching/waiting! Then, there is those like in Samuel's day looking not for God and looking for a "One World Government Leader". We, the Church, must change that. While God SENDS FORTH THE THUNDER AND RAIN so that all may perceive their wickedness, we the Church, must keep on keeping on by plowing, sowing, fertilizing, watering the wheat fields, ect. while God does the increase. I stand with you and strongly encourage you to keep listening to what the Sprit is saying so that the Church may continue to awaken those souls bound up to Satan's devices. Let us look at this this way...God's mercy is extended to those who are still lost! LETS GO GET THEM! The Wheat Fields are White and Full!

You have a following of people who agape' love you...pray for new visions and ask your followers on how we can help you get the basic message of deliverance from the coming judgement to those being blinded by the great deception and sifting of darkened spiritual forces. Two can put 10,000 to flight! They are many but we have more than enough by Christ Jesus...Amen'.

My reply

> Keep the faith and keep charging the Web/Internet with Jesus and His soon coming.

I will certainly keep the faith, and will stay on the Internet as long as I can. It is in the Lord's hands. I only want to do his will as long as I live. Agape and Maranatha

Greetings Marilyn in the wonderful name of our soon coming Lord!!!

I just finished browsing through the Weekend Discussion Group website. Although I should not have been surprised, I was disappointed at seeing "Christian" brothers and sisters already lining up to throw stones at you and anyone else who speculates on a likely date for the Lord's coming for His bride. I for one, as well as my wife, will continue to look for another date that may show as a possible candidate.

I could never accept the idea of an imminent rapture. Our heavenly Father has always shown Himself to be a God of order and He has an "appointed time" for every aspect of His salvation plan for His people. That also means that certain things and events have to happen first before Jesus comes for us in the Rapture. That is why our Lord gave us so many signs to watch for. If the rapture were imminent then the signs make no sense whatsoever. We are at that point in history when the signs are definitely all around us and the time is at hand. If we continue to watch and pray we will eventually get it right.

I must admit it has always been a disappointment for us when our expectations didn't pan out, however, it only motivated us both to work harder at getting ourselves prepared for when He does come for us. We shall continue our "date guessing" (not date setting) and I hope Marilyn that you continue as well. Many people have been drawn closer to Jesus as a result of your studies and postings. In our case we have been having a home Bible study on prophecy in our house for the last three months. Although there are only four of us out of our whole congregation, this time has drawn us into a deep study of the Scriptures, closer to one another, and definitely closer to our Lord. And that makes it all worthwile, no matter how much scoffing and how often you hear "We're not supposed to set dates! No one knows the hour or the day!" Keep on keeping on, Marilyn! ( 2 Peter 3:11-14)

A brother in Christ, who's watching and praying

My reply

Thanks for your encouragement.

I am glad you can see that the Rapture has not always been imminent. So many don't seem to realize that this so-called doctrine is theory, not Scripture. Your point about the signs we are to watch for is well taken.

> I was disappointed at seeing "Christian" brothers and sisters already lining up to throw
> stones at you and anyone else who speculates on a likely date for the Lord's coming for
> His bride.

But, don't you think that is part of their testing? We are commanded to treat the brethren with agape love. I Peter 1:22 says, "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently." This will prove who will and who won't obey.

Do you remember how in Judges 7, Gideon (cutting off iniquity) was told to eliminate the people that bowed down on their knees to drink water? They were foolish and forgot to be alert and watch. Those that stood were wise. They brought the water to their mouth in their hands, and lapped like a dog so they could see what was going on around them. They were the three hundred the Lord used to take Midian (measure).

I want to stay alert. I want to recognize the signs. I want to be counted among the wise virgins. I don't want any sin counted against me, whatsoever. I am doing the very best I can to understand what the Lord has told us.

In John 8:7, Jesus said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." Agape
