(CNN) Israeli and Palestinian officials have agreed on a new plan to implement the stalled Wye River land-for-security pact and will sign the deal the end of the Jewish Sabbath, in an Egyptian resort town on the Red Sea...

Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat told Egypt's Middle East News Agency that "We are on the way to an agreement on all the points with the Israeli side." The announcements came after Israeli and Palestinian negotiators broke a deadlock over the release of Palestinian prisoners Friday. The Palestinians agreed to accept Israel's proposal that 350 prisoners be released, instead of the 400 the Palestinians had sought.

Israel hails 'new era' with pact Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy on Friday billed the deal as the opening of a new era that will "bring an end to this tragic situation" and lead to future deals with Syria and Lebanon....

The agreement sets a February 15, 2000, goal for a framework agreement on permanent status. The final status agreement would be linked with the third and final handover of Israeli land to the Palestinians, as stipulated in the Wye agreement.

I printed out pg.1 of your PC 8/27 so I can continue to pray for Brandi. I am so sorry because I know how I feel when one of my grandchildren gets even a little sick. How it must grieve your heart and of course her parents'.
I just read on a website of Phillip Brown that the Lord will not return until Christians get out of sin. He quotes Daniel Chpt.9 as 70 weeks are determined to put an end to sin. Also, that the Church must be presented without spot or wrinkle. Also "be ye Perfect as God is perfect". I feel that as hard as we try, we can never be perfect enough to get to heaven. That is why we need Jesus. Aren't we made perfect by his shedding of blood? Isn't this enough to get us to heaven? If Jesus has to wait until the church is made perfect, He might never come for us. What do you think about this? Thank you for all your work for the Lord and how you are clarifying the word for your readers. Love in Christ.

My reply

Thanks for your prayers. I still pray for your facial pain to go away.

> read on a website of Phillip Brown that the Lord will not return until Christians get out of sin.

If that were true, we'd all be out of luck--forever.

> He quotes Daniel Chpt.9 as 70 weeks are determined to put an end to sin.

The Seventieth Week of Daniel is the Tribulation too. We will be out of here before it starts. The Tribulation saints will be out of here as the millennial Day of the Lord starts. Dominion will be taken away from Satan right after the full seven years end. At the end of Armageddon, Satan will be chained. Then things will be different.

> Also, that the Church must be presented without spot or wrinkle. Also
> "be ye Perfect as God is perfect".

Eph. 5:27's "not having spot, or wrinkle" is talking about the church as the Bride. Before it, v. 25 says, Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it." After it, vs. 30-32 say, "For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." We need to confess our sins so as to bring them under the blood of Christ. That is the only way we can be perfect in God's sight.

> Aren't we made perfect by his shedding of blood? Isn't this enough to get
> us to heaven?

Accepting Christ will get us to Heaven, but we must be accounted worthy to escape (Lu. 21:36) in the first Rapture. When we accept Christ, we are made perfect for our old sins are wiped off the books. We are as pure virgins. However, none is without sin. I John 1:8 says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." When we sin, we are not perfect any more, and must confess it to bring it also under the blood of Christ. I John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is what we need to do to be chosen as part of the Bride of Christ and be taken up in the first Rapture. If we do not, we risk being left behind until the second Rapture. At that time, all believers will be caught up, whether they have built on the foundation of Christ gold and silver, or wood, hay and stubble. Agape

My reply

> "God closed the Old Testament canon 389 years before Christ's first coming.

Are you sure they have their facts right? Scofield has BC 397. I haven't researched this, so I can't decide at the present time if this is right or wrong.

> regarding the account of the transfiguration

Mt. 17:2 says, "AFTER six days." Mark 9:2 says, "AFTER six days." Lu. 9:28 says, "ABOUT an eight days AFTER." Would seven days satisfy them all?

There seem to be seven good years and seven bad years. I think the good years began with the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. If 1994 was the first year, 1995 the second, 1996 the third, 1997 the fourth, 1998 the fifth, 1999 the sixth and 2000 the seventh, we could be very close to the Rapture, prefigured by the Transfiguration. Lu. 9:28 says, "And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went UP into a mountain." Look at the first chapter of Revelation. There in the Preview of the Rapture, is the way Christ will look. Does that remind you of the Transfiguration at all?

> is it possible that Moses...represents those who have died and whose lives are hidden
> in Christ...and Elijah represents those who are alive at Christ's second coming?

I think the "Come up hither" ties them to a Rapture, not the Second Coming. At either Rapture, Pre-Trib or Pre-Wrath, there are those asleep in Jesus plus the living believers. The two witnesses will demonstrate what the "Come up hither" means. This gives us hope because we believe that what Scripture says will come true. It will also give hope to the Tribulation saints that will be taken up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture. This hope will help sustain those that have to flee from Judea during their days of hiding in the wilderness. They will know that the Rapture is real when they hear the news of the resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses.

There is another lesson in this. The peace covenant is for seven years. Moses and Elijah are killed after the first 3 1/2 years, and resurrected after 3 1/2 days. As their enemies behold them, they ascend up to Heaven (Rev. 11:12).

Some people have made the mistake of thinking that these two witnesses prophesy during the last half of the Tribulation, when it must be the first half. The last half is to be shortened from 1260 days to 1040 days (2300 {Dan. 8:14] - 1260 [Rev. 11:3] = 1040). Their ministry would not fit into the last part. These two would be recipients of the wrath of God, and that could never be.

A. General Overview

Revelation 13. 11-18
-and I beheld another beast [FP-false prophet] coming up out of the earth
-and he had two horns like a lamb
-and he spake as a dragon.
-And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast [the Beast] before him
-and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein
-to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
-And he doeth great wonders,
-so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
-And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth
-by the means of those miracles
(2 Th 2:11-12) God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
-which he had power to do in the sight of the beast
-saying to them that dwell on the earth
-that they should make an image to the beast
-which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
-And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast
-that the image of the beast should both speak
-and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
-And he causeth all
-both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond
-to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
-And that no man might buy or sell
-save he that had the mark
-or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

John 5:42-43
-But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
-I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not
-if another [FP] shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Jer 48.29
-the pride of Moab [FP]
-he is exceeding proud, lofty, arrogant, haughty

Isa 63:1-2
-Who is this that cometh from Edom
-red garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

***Isa. 63:1-4 says, "WHO is this (Christ) that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah: this (Christ) that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I (Christ) that speak in righteousness, mighty to save (our Saviour). Wherefore art thou (Christ) red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I (Christ) have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come."

***Rev. 19:13: "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the Word of God."

***Isa. 59:17-19: "he (the arm of the Lord) put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."

1. General
Daniel 11.36-39
-the king [FP] shall do according to his will
-he shall exalt himself
-magnifies himself above every god
-shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods
-shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished
-shall not regard the God of his fathers
-shall not regard the desire of women
-he shall honour the God of forces
-shall divide the land for gain.

2. Moves Religious Headquarters To Babylon
Zech 11:17
-idol shepherd [FP] leaves the flock

Zech 5:10-11
-hither do these bear the ephah?
-To build it an house in the land of Shinar

Jer 51:44
-I will punish Bel in Babylon
-and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up
-and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him
-the wall of Babylon shall fall.

Isa 22:18
-He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country
-there shalt thou die
***I think this ball represents the asteroid that impacts at Babylon. Verses 15 and 16 say, "Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts (Christ), Go, get thee unto this treasurer (as the betrayer, Judas Iscariot, carried the bag of money), even unto Shebna (meaning 'who nests himself'), which is over the house (Harlot Church), and say, What hast thou here? (World Church) and whom hast thou here (False Prophet), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?" (the asteroid, Wormwood).

***Amos 3:15 may apply. It says, "I will smite the winter house with the summer house."

***The False Prophet is wounded. Zech. 11:17 says, "Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword (sword of the Lord, flaming sword of Gen. 3:24, the asteroid) shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened."

***After Armegeddon, "the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." I think this Lake of Fire forms at Babylon after the asteroid impact.

***An asteroid destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah and the cities of the plains. It split the Earth and formed the Great Rift Valley. Rocks also fell on Joshua's Long Day (Jos. 10:11). Eze. 21:9-17 is the parable of the sword of God. I think it will strike on Jesus' Long Day.

***The parable says, "Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree. And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh (the mountain burning with fire strikes the Mediterranean Sea, Rev. 8:8, stopping the northern army). Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD. Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers. I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter....I will also smite mine hand together, and I will cause MY FURY to rest: I the LORD have said it."

Mat 24:23-26
-Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
-For there shall arise false Christs
-and false prophets
-and shall show great signs and wonders
-insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
-Behold, I have told you before.
-Wherefore if they shall say unto you
-Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth
-behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

3. Fears Northern Invasions
Ezekiel 28:7
-I will bring strangers (King of the North) upon you [FP at Babylon]
-the terrible of the nations war against you
-and they shall draw their swords against the beauty
-they will defile your brightness.

Jeremiah 50.3
-out of the north comes up a nation against her [Babylon]
-which shall make her land desolate
-an assembly of great nations from the north country v9
-a people shall come from the north, and a great nation v41
-and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
-The king of Babylon [FP] hath heard the report of them v43
-his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him

Dan 11:40-45
-And at the time of the end
-shall the king of the south [Egypt] push at him [FP at Babylon}
-and the king of the north shall come against him [FP} like a whirlwind [at Babylon]
-with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships
-and he [King of the North] shall enter into the countries
-and shall overflow and pass over.
-He [King of the North] shall enter also into the glorious land [initial assault is against Babylon]
-and many countries shall be overthrown
-but these shall escape out of his hand
-even Edom, and Moab
-and the chief of the children of Ammon

Hosea 9:7
-The days of visitation are come
-the days of recompense are come
-the prophet is a fool

***He is Satan possessed.

Isa 9:14-15
-LORD cuts off tail in one day.
-the prophet that teacheth lies is the tail.

***Satan is also the tail of the great red dragon (Rev. 12:4). He is in the False Prophet, and "is the eighth, and is of the seven" of Rev. 17:11.

Jer 48.25-29
-The horn of Moab is cut off
-his arm is broken
-he magnified himself against the Lord
-he shall wallow in his vomit
-he shall be in derision.

Zec 11:17
-arm withers from sword wound
-his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

Isa 47:9-15
-the loss of children and widowhood come in one moment
-desolation comes suddenly
-shall be as stubble
-fire shall burn them
-none shall save him

Jer 51:44
-I will punish Bel [FP] in Babylon

Jer 50.30
-I will punish the king of Babylon [FP]
-as I have punished the king of Assyria.
-I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up

Isa 22:18
-He will die in a large country [Babylon]

Jer 51:25
-I will roll thee down from the rocks
-I will make thee a burnt mountain.

***Satan's home on the asteroid will impact Earth.

Jer 50:32
-I will kindle a fire in his cities
-fire shall devour all round about him.

Rev 16:13
-unclean spirits come out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev 19:20
-false prophet cast alive into lake of fire

Rev 17:8-18 The beast that was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit

***:-) OK. This is Satan. He was in Judas Iscariot, is not in man at the time of the Rapture, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and finally inhabit the False Prophet Mid-Trib. He (Satan in the False Prophet) will go sit in the temple that day "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4).

Beast Same as:
Image of Daniel 2
Dream of Daniel 7
Beast out of the Sea of Rev 13

Rev 17.1-14
-one of the angels talked with me, saying unto me
-I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore
-that sitteth upon many waters:
-With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication
-and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
-So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness
-and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast
-full of names of blasphemy
-having seven heads and ten horns.
-And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour
-and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls
-having a golden cup in her hand
-full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
-And upon her forehead was a name written

***From Marilyn: This Mystery Religion of Babylon was started by Nimrod and Semiramis at the Tower of Babel. Both Tammuz, their son, and Nimrod were worshipped as the sun god. Semiramis was worshipped as the goddess, Ishtar. Idols, "abominations," of a Madonna and Child were used.

-And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints
-and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus
-and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
-And the angel said unto me
-Wherefore didst thou marvel?
-I will tell thee the mystery of the woman
-and of the beast that carrieth her
-which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
-The beast that thou sawest was, and is not
-and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit
-and go into perdition
-and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder
-whose names were not written in the book of life
-from the foundation of the world
-when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
-And here is the mind which hath wisdom
-The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
-And there are seven kings
-five are fallen
***The five are Nimrod, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Alexander the Great, and the Caesars.

-and one is

***The Pope, head of Ecclesiastic Babylon, the sixth head of the great red dragon. He rules 42 months, or 1260 days (Rev. 13:5).

-and the other is not yet come

***The OTHER is the False Prophet, the seventh head of the great red dragon.

-and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

***1040 days (2300 - 1260 = 1040), because the Great Tribulation is shortened or no flesh would be saved (Mt. 24:22).

-And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth

***This is Satan. After the catastrophe deposes the False Prophet, Satan himself operates.

-and is of the seven

***Satan indwells the seventh head of the great red dragon, the False Prophet. He energizes the rest of the heads.

-and goeth into perdition.
-And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings
-which have received no kingdom as yet
-but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
-These have one mind
-and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
-These shall make war with the Lamb
-and the Lamb shall overcome them

Jer 51:7
-Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand
-that made all the earth drunken
-the nations have drunken of her wine
-therefore the nations are mad.

Rev. 17.15-18
-And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest
-where the whore sitteth
-are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
-And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast
-these shall hate the whore
-and shall make her desolate and naked
-and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
-For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will
-and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast
-until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
-And the woman which thou sawest is that great city
-which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Rev 18:
-an angel comes down from heaven
-saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen
-is become the habitation of devils
-and the hold of every foul spirit
-and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
-For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication
-and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her
-and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
-and double unto her double according to her works
-in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
-her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine
-and she shall be utterly burned with fire
-And the kings of the earth
-who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her
-shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
-Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying
-Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city!
-for in one hour is thy judgment come.
-And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her
-saying, Alas, alas, that great city
-that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet
-and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
-For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.
-And every shipmaster cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying
-What city is like unto this great city!
-Alas, alas, that great city
-for in one hour is she made desolate.
-Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets
-for God hath avenged you on her.
-And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone
-and cast it into the sea, saying
-Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down
-and shall be found no more at all.

Revelation 19. 1-3
-true and righteous are his judgments
-for he hath judged the great whore
-which did corrupt the earth with her fornication
-and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
-And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
