You have mentioned the possibility of Acension Day as the time of the rapture. Did you notice that Acension Day this year is the 2nd month, 27th day (as the days of Noah), the day that God told Noah to "go forth" out of the ark? Another thought, "Ye shall have tribulation 10 days." Could that be 10 days before Pentecost? Was the lst Pentecost when the Gentiles and the Church recieved the Holy Spirit, The Comforter? And, Pentecost 2000, is when the Jewish Nation recieves the Holy Spirit, 10 days after the Church is raptured? What do you think?

My reply

In Noah's day, the Civil Calendar was used. The way I count the omer, the 40th day is Iyar 26.
As for the 10 days, it apply as you say--very easily. There was some good reason for those 10 days. Only thing is that the 10 days was in the message for the church. If they were gone, how would the 10 days apply to them? Let's mull this one over awhile. I hadn't thought of it this way before.

FWD: The Charter for Global Democracy

In less than a year, the United Nations will convene a special Millennium Assembly as a global summit on the future of the world. This event will crown a decade of preparation to launch the new millennium based on a new system of global governance. The blueprint was published by the United Nations Commission on Global Governance in 1995.

Now, a Charter to achieve global governance has been developed for presentation at the Millennium Assembly in September 2000. It will be published publicly on UN day, October 24th. It is called The Charter for Global Democracy. It has already been signed by influential leaders in 56 nations, and has the support of civil society non-government organizations around the world. The document is, in reality, a Charter for the abolition of individual freedom.

Dear Marilyn,
How does October 24th fit into your Covenant with Death? Any Biblical significance to the Hebrew date?

My reply

Oct. 24 is Tishri 25. I can't think of a tie in there.

I am CAPS brother. I am attaching an article we sent in to the Doves site., re: significance of Passover and Pentecost and the 2 comings..Thought you might find it interesting.

In ACTS 2:16,17 Peter said in response to the uproar of the activities of the Day of Pentecost, "THIS IS THAT which was spoken by the prophet Joel ; And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS says God that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh." ( I believe these are the last 2 days of this present age that started at the crucifixion of Jesus and are measured by 360 days / year , making them 2 prophetic 1000 year-days equivalent to 1971.25 years) . A careful reading of this chapter will show that Peter went on to later connect the last 2 days to the "great and notable Day of the Lord." That day is the Millennium.

I believe that this account in Acts 2 shows that the current age will END at the Final 2nd Coming of Jesus in POWER on the day of Pentecost. Reading Sherry's explanation(or Perry Stone's) of the comparision of the account at Mt. Sinai to the Rapture triggered in my mind several things. Notice in Exodus 19 that God would descend in POWER on the THIRD day. He would also descend IN THE SIGHT OF ALL THE PEOPLE. Look at descriptions of the 2nd coming of Jesus and you read things like ,Rev.1:7 " Behold He comes with CLOUDS ; and EVERY EYE shall see Him...." This sounds like the descent at Mt. Sinai which was to be in the "sight of all the people." At the Rapture Jesus comes as a "THIEF IN THE NIGHT" and so not every person shall see him. The Rapture is NOT the coming in power, so a distinction is made between the season of Passover, ending on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, (a Wednesday this year, refer to the dream of the Dove that the Rapture would be on a Wednesday this year), and the 2nd coming at Pentecost, 3.5 years later, at the start of the Millennium.

Since the literal Kingdom of God comes in POWER--i.e the 2nd coming, and since the Jews rejected Jesus, then the "Power" aspect of the Kingdom came on the Day of Pentecost to the Church. THIS EXPLAINS why Peter said "THIS IS THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL." The POWER aspect of the Kingdom came by way of the Spirit on Pentecost , which was a type of the literal 2nd coming, which will also be on the Day of Pentecost.

The "THIRD DAY " referenced in Exodus 19, "... be ready against the Third Day...", will be the START OF THE MILLENNIUM. The Church will be taken out BEFORE that . In Ruth ch. 3 Ruth is at the Feet of Boaz at the time of the Barley Harvest which occurs at the Passover/Unleavened Bread season. Notice that in Ruth 3:1 Naomi says it is time for Ruth to have "REST" . In 2 Thes. 1:7, "..and to you who are troubled, REST with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be REVEALED from heaven". This is the same REVELATION that takes place during the book of Revelation, when the mighty angels are used to release plagues on the earth". Likewise, the church is also given REST during the tribulation. This is the same "rest" as Ruth being with Boaz before the marriage which came at Pentecost. So , this "rest" typifies the rapture at Passover, the Barley Harvest.

Also , after that night is over , 6 Barley loaves are sent to Naomi. This confirms that Ruth is with Boaz BEFORE the end of the 6000 years, pictured by the 6 loaves of barley. Ruth , of course, pictures the Church. This shows that after the rapture, typified by Ruth being with Boaz in secret, (Boaz said to Ruth, ..."let it not be known that a woman came into the floor", Ruth 3:14) occurs BEFORE the 6000 years are over. In Ruth 3:18, Naomi, after having received the 6 loaves says to Ruth, "sit still...for the man will not be in REST, until he has finished the thing this day." This "day" is a reference to the "day" of the Lord, which is the 3rd day of Exodus 19 and the start of the millennium. The 6 loaves which represent 6000 years, combined with the fact that "...he will not rest until he has finished the thing this day..." shows that the wedding takes place at the start of the millennium.

The marriage of the Church to Jesus ( in Heaven) will take place on Pentecost, at the time of the 2nd coming, as shown in the first few verses of Revelation 19. See Rev. 19 :7 " Let us be glad and rejoice...for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

The Passover is the season of separation and of the Rapture of the Church. Pentecost is the fullfillment of the promise to deliver Israel after two days, or two thousand years. The Rapture occurs 3.5 years before the start of the Millenium.

My reply

Thanks. It sure is good to hear from you again.

> I believe these are the last 2 days of this present age that started at the crucifixion of Jesus

I think the last two 1000-year days started when the wise men visited Jesus in his 2nd year, in AH 4040 (BC 4/3) (Jewish 3758). (Adam was tested 40 years, just like the second Adam, Christ, was tested 40 days. Forty means testing and probation.) The gifts the wise men brought Jesus symbolically pointed him out as both priest and king at that time. It was 4000 years after Adam was cast out of the Garden of Eden in AH 40 (BC 4004/3) (243 BJE, Before Jewish Era).

> Peter went on to later connect the last 2 days to the "great and notable Day of the Lord." That day is the Millennium.

The prophecy in Joel 2:28 has a double fulfillment. Joel 2:27-32 says, "And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel (Second Advent), and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward (after his return), that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood (when the 6th seal breaks), before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come (before the 7th seal breaks, Rev. 6:17; 8:1). And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (the second Rapture): for in mount Zion (the heavenly one) and in Jerusalem (the earthly one) shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call" (those that will live on into the Millennium on Earth).

I think the 6000 years of man's test being mortal and knowing both good and evil were up in 1997/8 (5758), and that the millennial Day of the Lord does not begin until Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007), 10 years later. The church has been given "space to repent" (Rev. 2:21), and the 2300-day Seventieth Week of Daniel/Tribulation of Dan. 8:14 runs from the Feast of Weeks in 2001 to the Feast of Trumpets in 2007, counted by Jewish inclusive reckoning.

The Millennium cannot begin until after Elijah prophesies during the first half of the Tribulation. Mal. 4:5 says, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD."

The Oslo Accords were signed on Sept. 13, 1993. Add 7 good years and 7 bad years, as when Joseph was in Egypt, and you come to Sept. 13, 2007. The Accords were ratified in Israel 3 days later, on Tishri 1, 5754. Add 7 good years and 7 bad years, and you come to Tishri 1, 5768, which just happens to be Sept. 13, 2007. That is too good to be accidental. Remember, the Lord is in complete control.

> prophetic 1000 year-days equivalent to 1971.25 years.

I count by regular years, set by the Sun and Moon on the Jewish Calendar. Gen. 1:14 says, "Let there be lights in the firmament (expanse of space) of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

>I believe that this account in Acts 2 shows that the current age will END at the Final 2nd Coming of
> Jesus in POWER on the day of Pentecost.

I think Eze. 29:17,21; Hos. 6:3 show that the Second Advent will be on Nisan 1. I expect it in 5768, seven Jewish months (Eze. 39:12) after the catastrophe on the first day of the Millennium. There are 7 months between Tishri 1 and Nisan 1 in 5768, because it is a leap year with the 13th month. Hos. 6:3 says, "the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." The former rain starts Tishri 1. The latter rain starts Nisan 1.

Eze. 29:17 sets the day, "first month, in the first day of the month." Then verse 21 says, "In that day (i.e., Nisan 1) will I cause the horn (king) of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth (the Logos, the Word) in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD."

> Notice in Exodus 19 that God would descend in POWER on the THIRD day. He would also descend > IN THE SIGHT OF ALL THE PEOPLE.

All the people did not see the Lord. They saw the cloud. He was in the "thick cloud upon the mount" (v. 16). He "said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish" (v. 21). It seems that Pentecost fits the Pre-Trib Rapture. Israel was espoused to the Lord at Sinai. The Lord said, "be ready against the third day" (v. 11). This is what we need to do right now. There is a good chance that the third day refers to the third year, 1998, 1999, and 2000 (5758, 5759, and 5760).

> Ruth is at the Feet of Boaz at the time of the Barley Harvest which occurs at the Passover/Unleavened
> Bread season.

Ruth was there from Barley harvest through the wheat harvest. Ruth 2:23 says, "So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of WHEAT HARVEST." We are wheat, and Pentecost has the offering of two loaves made of fine wheat flour.

Song of Solomon 2:11 seems to indicate that when the Bride of Christ (Son of David) hears him say, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away" the Rapture will take place when "lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone." Both Tishri and Nisan are rainy months. To me, this eliminates all 6 feasts that take place in these 2 months. Only Pentecost is in the spring after the rain is gone. Passover and Unleavened Bread are in Nisan, the time of the latter rain.

> 6 loaves

Boaz "measured six measures of barley" (3:15) and gave it to Ruth. I think this is what you meant to say. It does suggest 6000 years, but just as Boaz and Ruth were not married that day, we have a bit of extra time after the 6000 years are up.

> the wedding takes place at the start of the millennium.

I agree that it is on the first day of the 1000-year Day of the Lord.

> The marriage of the Church to Jesus ( in Heaven) will take place on Pentecost, at the time of the
> 2nd coming

I think the Marriage of the Lamb will be on the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). The Second Coming can't be that day, because that is the day of "thick darkness" (Joel 2:2). Zech. 14:5-7 says, "the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, NOR DARK: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light." There are 7 months between the Day of God's Wrath and the Second Advent (Eze. 39:12).

> The Rapture occurs 3.5 years before the start of the Millennium.

I expect the Pre-Trib Rapture to take place in the 7 good years, either on Ascension Day or on Pentecost, this year. Christ is to keep us FROM the trial that is to come upon the whole world during the 7 bad years (Rev. 3:10). Ascension Day and Pentecost are 10 days apart. Both are in the spring after the rain is over and gone. Ascension Day would be appropriate since the Head of the Body of Christ ascended to Heaven on that day. In the first century, the apostles had to wait 10 days until the Holy Spirit was poured out on them. Either the Ascension or the coming of the Spirit of Christ could prefigure the Rapture. The 10 days seem important. What do you make of them? You are good at research. I would be interested in anything you could turn up on this.

Isa. 57:1 in the Complete Jewish Bible, says, "Godly men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous person is TAKEN AWAY from the evil YET TO COME." Agape
