Re: Where have all the Pro & Cons gone. I have not visited your Web Page for about two months. I noticed today that the rest of the Pro & Cons which used to be on your Page are gone. Could you please tell me how I can access them 'cause I just want to study all your enlightening comments there. Thanks.

My reply

To bring up the Pro and Con Index, scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page. Click on the line that says, "Separate Pro and Con Index (478+ files containing incoming email and my replies)"

It is underlined to show that it is a link that will bring up the Pro and Con Index. The document got to be too long. I had to split it into 2 documents. I did it when I had 478 Pro and Cons. There are 488+ now.

Subject: Re: March 11, 2000
The last e-mail I sent had that PS at the end about the Pre-Trib Rapture being on Sivan 6, 5760
It is interesting to read in P&C 486 page 3, "Since I am in California USA, ..." This is what the Holy Spirit has been telling me all along.

I totally agree with you, I just was mixed up. I accept by faith that indeed the Pre-Trib Rapture is on Sivan 7, 5760 IN JERUSALEM. This means it is on Sivan 6, 5760 here. You know what I believe? I accept by faith it will be exactly the same time of day that my household saw that rainbow of March 11. That was 4pm Pacific Standard Time, which in Pacific Daylight Savings Time is 5pm. That corresponds to being 3 AM in Jerusalem, which is the time that the Lord asked the disciples why they could not watch. (The last watch starts at 3AM and ends at sunrise). This double confirmation of both you and I, and the double confirmation of time can not be ignored. Thank you for writing out P&C 486, so I could see this. Where two or more are together, the Lord is present.

What a time this will be when this happens with the "freeway strangle" in full progress in both of our places we live. There are going to be COLOSSAL problems for those who are left behind when car drivers, plane pilots, train engineers . . . all suddenly are carried away. I pray that in these last fifty five days that many people will come to be spirit filled believers, for the woe will start immediately at the instant of the Pre-Trib Rapture. Agape

My reply

Thanks. You know what I said before, I'll be happy with any day this spring. It sure seems that we are running out of time, though.

We drove into the end of the rainbow the same day that I figured out that Sivan 7 seemed to be the correct day for Pentecost, Jerusalem time. You also had the end of the rainbow come in the van on you. I only know of one other that was in the end of the rainbow, and he had just made his first solo flight and was coming in for the landing when the colors shone on him. You, Ed and I were in vehicles that were moving. He was in flight. Interesting. Hope Pentecost is travel day par excellence.

Check this out. They are planning a really big "Jesus Day" on June 10, 2000. Lots of organizations are partners in it. Web site at Agape

Subject: rapture
I Corinthians 15 verses 35-40 may indeed have some relevance to the rapture and whether pets will be taken with their masters. What do you and those who follow your site think of these verses?

Also, I think that the May 5 alignment along with all the other clues and signs of the times means that the rapture will be sometime this spring. I could be wrong, but it would appear that if the rapture is indeed a pre-trib. event, then time is growing very short.

My reply

I don't know about pets, but the Ark was full of animals. Dr. Talbot once said that we would be happy in Heaven, so if it took our having our pets there, they would be there.

I agree that the time seems short. The United Religions charter to be signed June 26, 2000 makes it even more likely that the salt of the Earth will be taken away before that. We'll soon know. Agape

From Jim Bramlett
What drives us prophecy buffs? What causes us to seek, study, speculate and yearn for that which is unimaginable to the world?

A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) said it well:
"The yearning to know what cannot be known, to comprehend the incomprehensible, to touch and taste the unapproachable, arises from the image of God in the nature of man. Deep calleth unto deep, and though polluted and landlocked by the mighty disaster theologians call the Fall, the soul senses its origin and longs to return to its source."

No doubt, our yearning is Spirit-driven, deep calling unto deep. And what might not be known or knowable to the natural mind, and what "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him ... God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:9-10, NIV).

Jesus said, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened" (Luke 11:9-10). He's coming. Jim

Re: I can hardly believe I missed an obvious truth
As you recall, I accept by faith that the Pre-Trib Rapture is on somewhere during the "last watch" on Sivan 7, 5760 in Jerusalem. I have spent all day today looking over calendars with scripture study for the day, and something incredible was put into my mind by the Holy Spirit. If you look at a world map of all the time zones, at 3AM and beyond in Jerusalem on Sivan 7, THE ENTIRE EARTH IS ON THE DAY OF EITHER SIVAN 6 OR SIVAN 7! In otherwords, it it PENTECOST everywhere on the earth! Of course the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is on Pentecost! It is Pentecost everywhere! I can hardly believe that I missed this. I have had this compelling desire to sort this out since the rainbow of March 11, 2000....

My reply

Now that you mention the Sivan6/7 for Pentecost, I remember that the second Rapture will be the same way. The Jews keep Tishri 1/2 for the Feast of Trumpets. Now, it makes sense that both are that way. Thanks for getting that through my head....Agape

I have seen the topic of the Jewish calendar discrepancy with totaled biblical dates regarding the conclusion of 6000 years of history and the reason for it addressed before, perhaps by you in past pro and cons but can't locate it quickly. Can you summarize the reason for the difference as well as when and why it occurred? Is their a web site where this is laid out in detail, perhaps in chart comparison form? Thanks for your help as always. In Christ

My reply

I don't know why they did it, but when they started the present Jewish Calendar, they started it in BC 3761. From then until today, I don't think there are any changes in the progression of years.

It is possible that they just happened to have a record of the first new moon of Tishri in BC 3761 (FNM = 0 days, 23 hours, 11 minutes, 06 parts). The 0 day is Sunday. Monday is 1.

Each calendar year is built from the new moon of Tishri of the following year. They make minor adjustments so their fall feasts fall on appropriate days. Then they see which of their 6 types of years fits into that preceding space. Year types are Deficient (353 days), Normal (354 days), Full (355 days), Deficient Leap (383 days), Normal Leap (384 days), and Full Leap (385 days).

Strange as it must seem to some people, there is no Jewish Year with 360 days. Only 3 months vary the number of day in the month, Cheshvan, Kislev and Adar. Agape

In II Peter 2:9, after talking about Noah and Lot, it reads: "The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished." The word deliver (Strong's 4506) is"rhuomai", to "rush or draw, i.e. rescue" is the same word found in Matthew 6:13, "...lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil....". Also the word temptation (Strong's 3985) is "peira," "a test," that is found in II Peter 2:9, is the same word in Matthew 6:13 and Revelation 3:10: "...I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." (where "peira is used for both "temptation" and "try"). Indications that we will be taken out of this earth before the great trouble comes upon all who are left.

I hope you are OK, as I have read about the severe storms in southern California.

I am feeling in my spirit, more and more strongly, that the day of the Lord's shout is close at hand. Glory! Deliverance from this "vile body," and fit to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Much love

My reply

Thanks for the fine explanation. I agree with you.

We are ok. All we got was some much needed rain. The plants will be happy. They get so much alkali build-up from our city water that they need some rain to counteract it.

It seems that our time is getting short any way you figure it. Agape

Re: Global March for Jesus. WOW !!!! Marilyn. Guess what date they picked for the Global March? Check out the banner (clouds, wings, crown).

My reply

Thanks. June 10 is the date. There is on the picture the name Jesus, the cross, crown, wings and a dove. I'm glad to see that this web site in Canada lists the "purpose of celebrating JESUS CHRIST as Saviour and Lord through public prayer, praise and proclamation." The USA March for Jesus is at I didn't go through every file, but I found no statement as above. It said, "History is on the move toward the year 2000, but even more exciting is the fact that God's church is on the move!...they will be celebrating the 2000th birthday of Jesus Christ...Then let's pour out extravagant praise to the King of Kings marking his 2000th birthday."

Incoming email

I'm very puzzled over this Jesus Day mentioned in P/C 488 ( How do you figure this? Is there some link with the expected Rapture of June 10th that we aren't seeing? Is God truly behind this day and it's organizers or perhaps even Satan? Suppose Satan is. The rapture takes place, but leaves many, many behind carrying on with their Jesus Day activities. That could lead to an argument with many saying something like "Obviously, nothing from God has happened, look around at all of the Christians working today. Something else explains your loved one's disappearance."

Or maybe this is part of the "Delusion" that God will send at the Rapture to confuse the unbelievers. Maybe, I've got this all wrong, but the coincidence of dates, and the extensive plans that JD organizers envision really intrigues me.

My reply

There is lots to wonder about today. I am wondering about Jesus Day right along with you. I went to the Canadian March For Jesus web site last night and was happy to find that it is for the "purpose of celebrating JESUS CHRIST as Savior and Lord through public prayer, praise and proclamation." At the March for Jesus, USA site, it includes "...the fact that God's church is on the move!" I hope that is right on the button.

Now for the weather report. The Paramount area SE of Los Angeles was hit by what they are calling a microburst. The funnel cloud did not touch down but caused tornado-like winds that did a lot of damage. Trees were down all over the place and a trailer park was a mess. I thank the Lord, no people were hurt badly. Here in the Inland area of Riverside, we got substantial rain, but no damaging winds.

There is another thing to wonder about--SNOW. The Press-Enterprise today, Apr. 19, 2000, says, "Cold storm pours fury on region...The tail end of an unseasonably cold, wet and powerful Alaskan storm raked Southern California early Tuesday with RECORD RAIN and fierce winds that tore up mobile homes and businesses and left thousands without power....The storm also brought SNOW to ski resorts. Mountain High ski resort in Wrightwood announced it was re-opening for today after reporting nearly 2 feet of snow had fallen. Snow Summit Ski Resort at Big Bear Lake, which closed Sunday, had received 4 to 8 inches of snow by Tuesday afternoon, and perhaps up to 10 inches at the peak elevation...Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains received 3 inches of snow." I can see snow on two separate mountain areas from my house. Also, the area may get more rain/snow tomorrow from this storm. This seems unusual. We were back to wearing shorts, then it turned cold. We seldom get much rain after March.

Here is food for thought. Job 37:6 says, "For he saith to the SNOW, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the SMALL RAIN, and to the GREAT RAIN OF HIS STRENGTH." I think the "great rain of his strength" REPRESENTS the Second Coming. What COULD the "small rain" and the "snow" represent?

De. 11:14 says, "That I will give you the rain of your land (Israel) in HIS DUE SEASON, the first rain (former rain, First Advent, Tishri 1) and the latter rain (Second Advent, Nisan 1, Eze. 29:17,21), that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil."

Prov. 25:6,7,13 says, "stand not in the place of great men: For better it is that it be said unto thee, COME UP HITHER (as at the Rapture in Rev. 4:1); than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen....As the COLD OF SNOW IN THE TIME OF HARVEST, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters."

James 5:7 says, "Be patient therefore, brethren (believers), unto THE COMING OF THE LORD. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth (firstfruits at Pentecost?), and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early (former rain, in Tishri, in the autumn) and latter rain" (in Nisan). Today is Nisan 14 (Apr. 19), Passover. The storm hit at 4:30 AM Tuesday, Nisan 13, Crucifixion Day. hmmmm

Dear friends:
This will inspire you and remind you of God's power and faithfulness to His Word when we are willing to radically trust Him.

Medical doctor friend Jean Kincaid sent me two amazing healing testimonies. Jean is a brilliant lady. She is a member of Mensa (those with extremely high IQ's) and also has a Ph.D. degree. Before she went to medical school as urged by her late surgeon husband she was the department chairman in business at a major university. She also knows the power of God and the reliability of His promises.

1. Jean says:
This is the true story of the woman who was prayed for healing of a huge, ugly goiter on her neck. For the next year, every Sunday morning at testimony service she'd get up and say, "I just praise the Lord with all of my heart for the wonderful healing I received for a terrible goiter on my neck. Praise His wonderful name." She'd be standing there with the goiter hanging out in all of its ugly dimensions. Everyone in the church believed that she was "touched in the head" because everyone could see that the goiter had not changed and had not shrunk at all. One Sunday morning the church had important visitors from the state administration. Sure enough the lady got up to testify and the pastor felt like crawling off the platform. She said, "I just want to thank and praise the Lord for the marvelous healing He gave me for an ugly goiter that was on my neck." The church members gasped in amazement because the goiter disappeared before their eyes, and her neck was smooth, slender and normal in appearance. As Hebrews 11:1 states, "Now faith IS the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen." We just need to hold on on, awaiting the evidence which we see by faith. Praise the glorious Name of Jesus, Who paid for ALL of our diseases (Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, etc.). It also came to me this morning, "Just what part of ALL, is excluded from the promises?

2. This second story is about herself:
It was that (above) story that inspired me to keep testifying how the Lord had delivered me from frequent chest pain. I was only about age 25 at the time and quite worried about the pain which radiated down my left arm. I knew that it had to be related to my heart, and I had three young children at the time. Later four. For a whole year I told people how the Lord had delivered me from chest pain while I still experienced the pain. I never let on that I still had the pain. Then one night at a meeting conducted by Lester Sumrall (that great man of God who ministered in the Philippines), he said that there were three people with chest pain in the audience. I stood up and he pointed to me and said, "You lady in the blue suit -- take three deep breaths. You will never again experience that pain." I took three deep breaths and the pain disappeared, never to return like that again. I had based my faith on the fact that since Romans second chapter states that God is no respecter of persons, then if he healed the lady with the goiter after her faithful confession of faith then He'd do the same for me. Praise God, He looks after His word to bring to pass that which He sent it out to do.

Re: Pope Declares his Wish to Visit Ur
I never read the trash that usually appears in "Time" magazine, but was interested in this issue because of the popes Mideast trip appears upon the cover. Deep into the story was JPII's regret that he could not visit Ur, because of Saddam Hussien. JPII also said that he intends to see the Zigguratt at Ur. Even in a pile of dung you can find some truth. Re: rapture
In Matthew 24, verses 37-39 Jesus may be talking about the rapture. He says,"The world will be at ease--banquets and parties and weddings--just as it was in Noah's time before the sudden coming of the flood..." At least in the U.S., June is a popular month for weddings, wedding receptions (banquets), and graduation parties. These verses would seem to confirm a June date for the rapture. Do other nations around the world tend to have numerous weddings, wedding receptions, and graduation parties in June? If so, these verses may be an even more powerful confirmation of a June date for the rapture.

My reply

Thanks for your insight on this. As in the days of Noah is referring to the first Rapture, when RAIN falls that same day. Christ comes unto us "as the rain." Hos. 6:3 says, " the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." The former rains start Tishri 1 and represent the First Advent. The latter rains start Nisan 1 and represent the Second Advent. Maybe his coming at the first Rapture is in the A.M., "as the morning," and "as the rain." Mk. 13:35 says, "Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning."

Job 37:6 says, "For he saith to the SNOW, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the SMALL RAIN, and to the GREAT RAIN OF HIS STRENGTH." I think the "great rain of his strength" REPRESENTS the Second Coming. What COULD the "small rain" and the "snow" represent but the Rapture that is as the days of Noah? Gen. 7:11 says that on the same day that Noah entered the Ark, "the windows of heaven were OPENED." At the Rapture, the DOOR opens in Heaven (Rev. 4:1).

The second Rapture is as in the days of Lot, when FIRE falls that same day. No marriage is listed that time (Lu. 17:28,29).

No other month of the year is known for weddings like June here in the USA. There are many June brides. I don't know about other nations. Maybe readers will let us know soon. Agape

Blessings to you, Marilyn! Could you kindly comment on this news item?

"The Pope, who is nearly 80, is to travel to the shrine of Fatima in Portugal next month to give thanks to the Virgin Mary for saving his life on May 13, 1981 - the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima - when he was wounded in an attempted assassination".

Apparently, he will visit the shrine on the 19th anniversary (May 13, 2000) of this event. In scripture, the number 19 represents "faith"; unfortunately, the Pope is placing his "faith" in an idol. Do you know anything about this feast day of Our Lady of Fatima? This May 13th is just 4 weeks (28 days) before June 10th.

Could it be possible that another assassination attempt (this time successful) will be made? If so, the RCC will be actively seeking a new Pope, who may only be chosen after our June 10th departure! That way the "wise virgins" would not get to see the new "false prophet".

My reply

I Tim. 2:5 says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Maybe he never read it.

I know what happened at Fatima, but I know nothing about the Feast of Fatima.

> > Could it be possible that another assassination attempt (this time successful) will be made? If so, the RCC will be actively seeking a new Pope, who may only be chosen after our June 10th departure! That way the "wise virgins" would not get to see the new "false prophet".

I see nothing that would indicate such. Rev. 17 is a view at the time of the Rapture. In verse 10, "there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is (the Pope), and the other (the False Prophet) is not yet come." I think the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18 will be a Jew from the tribe of Dan. He comes up in THE LAND. He is the one that speaks "as a dragon." Agape

Re: UR charter doesn't contain the word God
Amazing, but true. Try it for yourself. Here is the link, just load the charter and search for the word "God".

I also searched for deity, supreme, Jesus, Christ, and Jehovah. None are to be found in this document. And I suspect not to be found in this "religion" either. Also, the words creator, redeemer and sustainer are not to be found! The lack of the word "creator" is especially surprising. It is as they think man created himself.

The "United Religions" which is slated to be signed on June 26th, 2000 caught my attention. This appears to be a post rapture event. I believe the true church would cry foul and expose this scheme for what it is, but God will send them a strong delusion that they believe Not the truth, (thinking that they have strength in numbers). God Bless!
