...The astronomers from the Joint Astronomy Centre were mapping the magnetic structure of galaxy M82 in order to see stars being born in the smouldering gas clouds at the very heart of this active starburst region when they detected the magnetic bubble.
"We were really surprised to see the huge bubble," said British astronomer Jane Greaves," this is a new feature of galaxies that we didn't know about before and could show how magnetic fields help shape the evolution of starburst regions.
"The most likely explanation for the bubble is that enormously energetic winds -- outflows of interstellar gas powered by stars and supernovae -- are forcing the magnetic field out into the halo of the galaxy...
The third is from the throne when the seventh bowl is poured out. Any thoughts?
I figure the original creation of Earth was FINISHED in the dateless past, but God refashioned Earth to make it a fit habitat for his creation of animals and Adamic man in 4044 BC. When this kosmos (Gr., order of things) was ready to operate, Adam and Eve were created. That six days of work was FINISHED, and God rested. That finish and day of rest was a type of the end of this age and the Millennium.
Without question, the most important finish to us was Jesus' death and resurrection. Without a Saviour, no man would have a chance at all. The Messiah's death was foretold in Dan. 9:26: "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself." From the first year of Cyrus, when he made his decree (Isa. 44:28; II Chron. 36:23) in BC 454, to 30 AD was 483 years (483 - BC 454 + 1 because there was no zero year = 30 AD. It was in 30 AD that Jn. 19:30 came true: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."
People pay attention to that verse, disregard what the LORD said in Isa. 44:28, and argue about what decree started the countdown, but I don't hear the 24th verse quoted too often.
Dan. 9:24 says, "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to FINISH the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to SEAL UP THE VISION AND PROPHECY, and to anoint the most Holy." This stretches to our days.
This prophecy includes Dan. 9:27: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until THE CONSUMMATION, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (desolator)."
Rev. 10:7 says, "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the MYSTERY OF GOD should be FINISHED, as he hath DECLARED to his servants the PROPHETS." Dan. 9:24 will be fulfilled early in the millennial Day of the Lord. Those prophecies will have come true, Christ will have received his kingdom.
Rev. 11:15 says, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."
Concerning the wrath of God, Rev. 16:17 says, " 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, IT IS DONE." By that time the wrath determined will have been poured on the desolator.
When the Seventieth Week of Daniel is over, I think dominion will be taken from Satan at the Judgment of the Nations. This is the end of the "one week" of Dan. 9:27.
Hope this helps somewhat. Agape
PS: Psa. 11:6 says,"Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup."
The only significance of 10 days that I can think of is between the anniversary of Christ's Ascension Day and Pentecost. Rev. 2:10 mentions tribulation 10 days. There could be a connection, and they may represent the last 10 days before Pentecost. The Rapture might cut short any prison or tribulation one might be enduring. Revelation is written as if the Rapture were at hand (1:3; 22:10). Maybe the door of Heaven opens on Ascension Day (i.e., the Rapture would then be at hand) and the Rapture takes place on Pentecost.
I was thinking about the Rapture being as the days of Noah. The Ark represents Christ, our Saviour. Then it hit me. The Ark was lifted up above the Earth on the 40th day--just as Christ ascended on the 40th day. Gen. 7:17 says, "And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and IT WAS LIFT UP ABOVE THE EARTH." That's perfect. There is always something else to learn.
Gen.18-20 say, "And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the MOUNTAINS were covered." The Ark continued to be floated higher and higher after the 40 days.
Song of Sol. 4:8 says, "Come with me from Lebanon, MY SPOUSE, with me from Lebanon (the white mountain, i.e., purity): look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon (lofty), from the lions' dens, from the MOUNTAINS of the leopards (spotted)."
The 10 days fit between Ascension Day and Pentecost. The Head of the Body of Christ went up on the 40th day. We follow the Head later. Ex. 23:19 says, "The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God." Ex. 24:26 repeats the same words, "The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God," and it is talking about Pentecost. I still think the day the Church was born into this world will be the day she will be born into another new world. The Spirit of Christ came upon her on Pentecost, and it looks like Christ will come to her on Pentecost.
Rev. 1:20 says, "the seven CANDLESTICKS which thou sawest are the seven churches." Ex. 25:33 says, "Three bowls made like unto ALMONDS, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the CANDLESTICK." That's interesting. Almonds come on at Pentecost too. Pentecost is Sivan 6,7 (June 9,10, 2000). Unger's Bible Dictionary says of Sivan, "WHEAT harvest begins on uplands; ALMONDS ripen; GRAPES begin to ripen; HONEY of the Jordan valley collected May to July. Figs do not come on until the month of Av (July/Aug.). Therefore, there would be green figs at Pentecost (Song of Sol. 2:10-14). Agape
I believe the asteriod belt is about midway between the known planets of our Solar System, so could God be reffering to his planet Rahib as that being destoyed from the midst of the stones of fire? Thanks for your time and I am continuing in study of these subjects to better understand the Word of God. Hopefully, see you SOON in Heaven.
Yes, cherubim is plural. However, the translators of the KJV used it as if it were singular and added an "s" that seems unnecessary, but to keep things straight, let's use their terminology.
We find both "kerub" and the plural "kerubim" in Ex. 37:8. It says, "One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof." That was a symbolic picture. II Sam. 6:2 says, "the LORD of hosts that DWELLETH BETWEEN THE CHERUBIMS" (i.e., between planets). Psa. 80:1 says, "Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth." Psa. 99:1 says, "The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved."
Eze. 10:1 says, "Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament (expanse of space) that was above the head of the cherubims (the 4 terrestrial planets) there appeared over them (farther out in space) as it were a sapphire stone (Heaven, sapphire means dear to the planet Saturn), as the appearance of the likeness of a throne" (the Lord's).
II Sam. 22:11 says, "And he (the LORD) rode upon a cherub (a rock?), and did fly (orbit?): and he was seen upon the wings of the wind." This is in David's song, which speaks of the Pre-Wrath Rapture, the Sign of the Son of Man, and the Wrath of God that falls that day, I think Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). Listen to his prophetic song and notice that a rock seems to represent both the Lord and a literal rock. It is similar to a mountain being used to represent both a kingdom and its king. It is the same with Satan and the rock he lives on.
In II Sam. 22, David sang, "The LORD is my ROCK, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my ROCK; in him will I trust: he is my shield...my saviour; thou savest me from violence...In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple...Then the EARTH SHOOK and trembled; THE FOUNDATIONS OF HEAVEN MOVED AND SHOOK, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and CAME DOWN (the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30; Rev. 6:14-17); and darkness was under his feet. And HE RODE UPON A CHERUB (a rock), and did fly (orbit): and he was seen (i.e., visible) upon the wings of the wind. And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his VOICE. And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. HE SENT FROM ABOVE, HE TOOK ME; HE DREW ME OUT OF MANY WATERS; He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me...HE BROUGHT ME FORTH ALSO INTO A LARGE PLACE (i.e., Heaven): he delivered me, because he delighted in me. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness...(It is also the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ) according to my cleanness in his eye sight....For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a ROCK, save our God?...He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and SETTETH ME UPON MY HIGH PLACES...thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me....The LORD liveth; and blessed be my ROCK; and exalted be the God of the ROCK of my salvation."
Gen. 3:24 says, "So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden (in the sky) Cherubims (planets), and a flaming sword (chereb, destroying weapon, i.e., an asteroid, piece of the Planet Rahab that split apart) which turned every way (rotated and orbited in four directions), to keep the way of (to) the tree of life" (now in Heaven, Rev. 22:2).
Eze. 28:12-17 says, "take up a lamentation upon the king (Satan) of Tyrus (the rock), and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God (both earthy and heavenly Edens); every precious stone (planet) was thy covering (surrounding), the sardius (Mercury), topaz (Venus), and the diamond (Earth), the beryl (Mars), the onyx (REHAB), and the jasper (Jupiter), the SAPPHIRE (Saturn), the emerald (Uranus), and the carbuncle (Neptune), and gold (Pluto)...Thou art the anointed cherub (Satan) that covereth (guardeth, Gen. 3:24); and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God (i.e., Saturn, 3rd heaven since Rahab split up); thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire (on Rahab, and later on an asteroid, a piece of Rahab)....thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God (3rd heaven): and I will destroy thee, O covering (guarding) cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire (from the Asteroid Belt). Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground...I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth."
> > I believe the asteroid belt is about midway between the known planets of our Solar System, so could God be reffering to his planet Rahib as that being destoyed from the midst of the stones of fire?
Rahab was split in the past. I think Satan lives on a piece of it now. In the middle of the Tribulation, Satan (the guarding cherub) and his angels will be cast down to Earth (Rev. 12:7-9). As the Millennium begins, his home in the heavenlies (the chereb, flaming sword, probably a binary asteroid, Rev. 8:8,10) will be cast down to Earth.
Eze. 10:2 says, " Go in between the wheels (orbits), even under the cherub (Satan), and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims (Mars and Jupiter), and scatter them over the city" (Jerusalem).
We have to decide from the context whether the reference is to Satan or to his home. I hope this helps. Agape
I like to think of the wilderness temple turned on a vertical plane in our present time. The brazen altar is down here where we pray, and the Holy of Holies is in the Third Heaven....Agape
This page is just my comments and beliefs.
I am with you in believing that we will know the time of the rapture. Revelation 3:3 (KJV) says, "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."
It doesn't make sense to me that Jesus knows everyone's hearts and knows who is and who is not saved, but does not know when the rapture will be. If the Lord knows that everyone on the earth has heard the gospel, why couldn't He figure out that it is time for Him to return.
However, I do not believe that we can determine the date of the rapture ourselves, but the Lord will reveal it to us. Only the people who visit your web site can say the Lord will return on Petecost 2000, not every true believer, so I believe that the Lord will tell us this day himself, or by a messenger (which could be you).
For my entire life, people have said that we won't know the day and hour of the Lord's return, I believe this to be true; but I take it in its literal sense. We won't know the day and hour of the Lord's return, not necessarily the rapture. Whenever the bible speaks of the Day of the Lord or the Son of Man coming, it is referring to his return to earth, the day and hour that no man knows. So when Jesus says that no one knows the day nor the hour, not He, nor his angels, I don't take it to be past tense, but to be the truth until the day comes.
Take a look at Hos. 6:3: " the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning (maybe at the Rapture); AND he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." The former rain starts Tishri 1, the first day of the Jewish Civil Year. I believe it is the date of the First Advent. The latter rain starts Nisan 1, the first day of the REGNAL and Sacred Year. I believe it is the date of the Second Advent.
Eze. 29:17,21 agrees. Verse 17 sets the day, " in the first month, in the first day of the month" (Nisan 1; Eze. 45:18,21). Then verse 21 says, "In that day will I cause the horn (king) of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth (the Word, the Logos) in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD." I keep you in my prayers knowing what a tremendous burden this must be to you even though you probably would say it's a Labor of Love! I'm sure millions now depend on your website for their daily devotions and to just keep in touch. Truly, it would be an emptiness now without it!
A Very Blessed Easter to you and yours, Love in our Lord Jesus Christ, P.S. It is really thundering and storming outside now--Good Friday!
Not "millions." My counter passed 404,000, but many have got to be repeats. Anyway, I'm glad to be able to share what I have learned in my studies. I also am thankful for what people have shared with me. I have learned too. If two heads are better than one, all our heads put together are a lot better than one.
Hope this year is the best year of our lives. Happy Birthday and Happy Resurrection Day too. Agape
God bless you and your ministry. You are such a blessing.
The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope." The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life." Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us my pregnancy isn't about disability or illness, it's about a little person."
