I have read your book, The End of the Age. It has completely turned my life around. I really want to go in the first rapture, but I am afraid that I have led my life in a lukewarm fashion....I am trying to change that...What bothers me is, I have been telling people of my beliefs, telling other christians, and all they do is scorn me...No one wants to hear that the rapture may be only a few short months away...I've been lookin for fellowship with other christians , but when I mention the rapture, they tell me I am misled and they will pray for my evil ways...I feel so alone and like an outcast...Am I wrong for telling people? I just want everyone to be prepared. If I don't go in the first rapture, I would like to know that maybe I helped others go and not face the tribulation...I had no idea I would be scorned so much by fellow christians..This really hurts me...Please return my mail, I am so confused.....I LOVE YOU AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN HEAVEN ALSO....GOD BLESS YOU and thank you so much for kindling my faith...PRAISE GOD!!!!! thank you
My reply Praise the Lord. The turning around is what God wants.
Sometimes you have to get a new set of friends. That happened to my daughter when she decided to let the Lord lead her life. Don't worry, there are other sold-out Christians out there. Pray that the Lord will bring you together. Know that he is in complete control and can do it.
You are not wrong for telling people. Just be ready to tell others of the hope that is in you. The Lord will arrange the occasion, sometimes when you least expect it.
Every time we make a spiritual leap upward, we are tested to see if we will hang on to it or let it go. Stand firm. Be sure you do go in the first Rapture, no matter what anyone else does. You will be eternally glad you did. After you withstand the test, what seems to be cursing turns to blessing. You'll see.
Incoming Email Good job. You are (outside of my select circle of friends) the ONLY other person to discern between the Day of Christ (2 thess 2) and the Day of the Lord.
I also have been teaching Pentecost this year. This year Only It falls on our May 31! Pentecost started it out and will end it. All the squaking about "no man can know" is scripture taken out of context. What no man could know was not the rapture. It was a mystery given to Paul. What they could not know was the timing of the kingdom of Heaven (not the same as the kingdom of God). Christ himself did not know it because if he had known, his offer of a kingdom to Israel would have been a hoax.
At any rate, I look forward to browsing your site some more, and sometime in the future getting your book. But as it looks now, maybe we just won't have time. Let's get the heck out of here!! Keep putting out the word. The world will hate you, but great will be your reward in heaven. God's Best.
Incoming Email Actually His second email I was interested in what one of your friends had to say about all these Baptists being here. Since I am an independant Baptist preacher, I clicked, only to find myself at the kiwi home page. This was done several times, and then I manually keyed in the address bapt.html. Still unable to see what happens to us Baptists.(:-).
I would have to disagree (who doesn't on some things) with your and everyone else's insistence that the seven years are all future. In Mark 1:14 Jesus stated that the "Time is fullfilled". That could only be referring to Daniels prophesy of the seventy weeks. Scripture states clearly that the "break" in time occurs in the middle of the seveniteth week, not at the beginning. I cannot find any evidence in the scripture pointing to a break in time at the END of the 69th week. Am enjoying my journey through your pages.
My reply Sorry about that. My web page is full. To get new things on, I have to take something off. I forgot to remove it from the Index. Attached is the file you wanted.... BTW, I am Baptist also.
Mark 1:14,15 says, "after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
Daniel 9:26 says, "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off (killed)." The passage in Mark came before the Crucifixion. Therefore, it had nothing to do with the timing of the Tribulation. The time that was fulfilled was the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks of years (i.e., 69 total) that were to elapse (from the commandment to restore and the build Jerusalem) before Jesus' ministry in 30 AD.
> Scripture states clearly that the "break" in time occurs in the middle of the

The break is between the Messiah being killed in verse 26 and the beginning of verse 27, which says, "And he (the prince that shall come) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week." This is the very beginning of the seven-year Tribulation week. This cannot be the middle of the Tribulation for Scripture continues saying, "and in the midst of the week."
Thanks for giving me the chance to explain this.
Incoming Email I just read through the last couple of posting, and you know how it is when you got this bone to pick with someone. The bone I have to pick isn't with you at all. As usual, you answered the questions exsquisitly. So I thought I would throw in with you on some of these if it's ok?...
Now, concerning Moses and Elijah, I used to believe that it was going to be Enoch and Elijah also, based on the same scripture (only one verse) "As it is appointed unto man..." A casual look at the Bible and history itself will prove that this verse is being torn out of its context. People in the Bible (and more so in our time) died, and then were brought back to life and than died again, as you pointed out. I just barely posted my comments on this subject on the 5 Doves home page, so I will repeat them here. It seems to be a popular topic right now. As you pointed out, Enoch being a Gentile, is a type of the predominantly Gentile Church. So he fits the typelogy of the Church Raptured before the tribulation better. Now, lets look at Moses more closely. First off, he was 120 years old when he died, but the Lord had preserved him in a 40 year old body. Also, the Lord wouldn't suffer anyone else to bury him, but He buried him, Himself. Also we know that Michael and Satan had an argument over Moses' body (why?). This leads to the possibility that Moses was ressussitated (not ressurected) several days later, and ascended up to Heaven, to become a type of Jesus' death, burial and ressurection. We also know that the Angel of the Lord of Hosts (preincarnate appearance of Christ?), was right in that same area at the same time, cause He appeared to Joshua. As you correctly pointed out the judgements that the two witnesses are capable of, point right back to Moses and Elijah. And you also correctly point out that they were on the mount of Transfiguration with Our Lord. Now one other interesting thing that ties Moses and Elijah togeter, that is often overlooked is that Moses, before he died, was allowed to look into the promised land. He would have been looking right over Jericho. Now when Elijah was translated, he crossed the Jorden outside of Jericho, and walked up into those same mountains. Moses died and Elijah was translated at Mount Nebo. One speculation on all of this is that no one really knows where the Mount of Transfiguration was (why?). It would not surprise me if it was Mt. Nebo. By the way MJ, I just came to the conclusion that it is possible that Moses is the Sun, and Elijah is the Moon, and the women would be the remenant, and the 12 stars would be the 144,000. You know the verse, "Behold a sign appeared in Heaven, a Woman closed with the Sun etc. Would like your comments on this.
Concerning Sir Robert Anderson and the 30 day month. I would have to throw in with Anderson over the person who made that comment any day. It is hinted at in Revelation and other places. My own study, that settled it for me is Enoch. I often wondered why Enoch was taken in his 365 year. This is the approx age of a year now. What if it was originally a 360 day year, and because of the fall, it has been slowing down ever since? This may seem strange at first but let me go on. When Jesus steps down on the Mt. of Olives, this is possibly the moment, when all lost time will be reincorporated. In electrical terminology (my present profession) this would put us back in sync, with the rest of God's creation. Now, if you figure out how old Enoch was, according to God's calender (360 day years) you will find that Enoch was translated exactly at the end of the first 1,000 years. Precisely. With like .111 left over. That accounts for maybe a day or week or something. Enoch was translated at the end of the first Lords day. This symbolizes our victory over death ("In the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.")through the Mighty Hand of Our Great God. That person is out to lunch. Just like the other guy who is an 'unbeliever' in his own words. He should thank you for responding so nicely to him. I would have told him that there aren't any atheists in hell.
I probably should end this now, cause I have rattled on. But I have one question for you MJ. Some people think that the invasion by Gog and Megog occure before the trib. If it were, could your time line be slid back to end in 2005. The reason I am wondering is that I don't think that there is going to be 3 years between the events, but I think the trib will start almost immediately after the rapture. I quess what I need to know is where to go to find out when Jewish leap years occur. Well, I will let some one else speak now. Keep up the good work MJ, you are certainly a big blessing to alot of people.
My reply ...I certainly appreciate someone helping me out in answering. Wish more would do so....
> but the Lord had preserved him in a 40 year old body.
How do you know this? He was 80 when the Israelites came out of Egypt, wasn't he?
> no one really knows where the Mount of Transfiguration was (why?).

Unger said, "it was the head or summit of Mount Pisgah...a portion of the general range of the mountains of Abarim.' Josephus says of Abarim...that it 'is a very high mountain, situate over against Jericho, and one that affords a prospect of the greatest part of the excellent land of Cannan.' This is corroborated by Eusebius and Jerome. The mountains of Abarim are a mountain range forming the Moabitish tableland." He also said, "Although Pisgah is often considered as identical to or a part of a neighboring peak, Mt. Nebo, it is actually slightly N. W. of Nebo."

I think the woman is Israel and that the Sun, Moon, and 12 stars represent Jacob, Rachel, and Jacob's 12 sons because of Joseph's dream (Gen. 37:9,10). Jacob's name became Israel.
> In electrical terminology (my present profession) this would put us back in sync
I understand sync. My husband and I took a correspondence course in TV repair. Got interested because repairing TVs was my dad's hobby. We were able to do simple repairs on BW TVs. When color came out, my dad bought all the equipment to do the job, but we dropped out.

As the years are listed in the begats, we find that Enoch was born in 622 AH, when Jared was 162. He lived 365 years and "God took him" (Gen 5:24). Therefore, he was raptured in 987 AH (BC 3056). I don't see how we can change that, no matter how many days in a year. A year is a year.

Ezek. 38:18 shows you when this war begins, when God's fury comes up in his face. Verse 19 speaks of "the fire of my wrath." It is on the 2300th day of the Tribulation, when the seven trumpet judgments hit Earth on the Day of God's Wrath. The mountain burning with fire of Rev. 8:8 is an asteroid piece that strikes the Mediterranean Sea. Ezek. 38:19f shows that "the fishes of the sea...and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake...and the mountains shall be thrown down." This is the day the cities of the sea coast are destroyed at noon.
"Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast" (Zeph 2:4,5). The woes come with the 5th through 7th trumpet judgments (Rev. 8:13). All seven trumpets sound on that one day, the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. That is the day of Jacob's trouble.
The reason the Rapture is four Jewish years (counted by inclusive reckoning) before the Tribulation is the parable of the barren fig tree in Luke 13:6-9.
> I need to know is where to go to find out when Jewish leap years occur.
These are leap years: 5760 (our 1999/2000), 5763 (our 2002/3), 5765 (our 2004/5), and 5768 (our 2007/8).
I'm glad you think I am a big blessing to a lot of people.
Incoming Email Re: rapture 1998 I found you!!! I've read "End of the Age" my husband and I were so impressed with your book that I called and ordered 10 copies to pass out to friends. Let me explain how I came to find your book...In May 1997 here in Paris, Texas a gentleman started passing out flyers believing the rapture would be May 14, 1997 (I bet he passed out thousands) after reading what he had to say about Isreal becoming a nation again in 1948 (he never mentioned the 6 day war)but being a believer and knowing that Jesus will return soon I wanted to know more so I went to a book store looking for prophecy books on end time and I was literally drawn to your book like a magnet! Just last month I went in search of anthing else by you and that's when I found "Heaven Found" My husband and I have both read it and believe, what's really wild is the other night (late) I channel surfed over to the christian videos and the song playing was "Saturn" the words were "Saturn has a ring around it, heaven has a ring around it. Wow!! Just wanted to let you know that I feel like your books are a heaven send. And we are looking forward to "Revelation 2000. And hoping your date May 31, 1998 is right. Wondering where you'll be and what your planning on doing that day?
My reply I am glad you liked my book.
Wonder who did the song. I wonder if it was Bob Ayala. That just sounds like something he would do. He once sang, "Don't get left behind the second time."
I have known him ever since 1969. He and several other college age kids came to my home to study the Bible with me. I did not plan it or say when we would have Bible study. They came when they pleased and we sat down at the kitchen table and studied. He and his sister, Shirley, have wonderful voices and play guitar. Bob was legally blind in 1969, and is probably totally blind by now, because of Retinitis Pigmentosa. He is able to use a computer that talks to him, be on Compuserve, but not the Internet, get and send email, and he makes albums of Christian songs he writes himself. Shirley sings with him on some. He, his wife and adopted children live in Mineola, TX.
Don't yet know what I'll be doing. We are ten hours earlier than midnight Jerusalem time here in California. That would put it in the afternoon on the 30th here. I don't know for sure that it will be midnight, whether it will be all at an instant, or if it will be, say midnight in each time zone around the world. We just have to be ready and wait patiently for it, whenever it happens. Rev. 3:10 mentions "patience."
Incoming Email I just finished "Heaven Found", it was just as amazing as "The End of the Age". Thank God for you and the knowledge He has given to you! In return, He has made my journey toward Him easier! I thank Him daily for you and His knowledge! I try to visit your web site daily for updates and I continue to read The Bible and other books that will help prepare me for the work that the Lord has in store for me (us) over the next few months! I pray daily that we all will be found in the book of Life! This world is so evil, it can't continue as it is headed. Christ must return and set this world back in correct order! I agree with Mr. Kuek & Mr. Ware that God has a special purpose for you and the knowledge He gave you! My husband and I had already discussed the fact that God used Mary to carry His only begotten son, and that he could use woman again to deliver His end time message! Are we going to be like the people in Noah's day; that ignored Noah until the first drop of rain fell to the ground! By that time it truely was too late! We must repent of all sins in our lives and hearts, and walk closer with Christ daily in prayer and study! We must teach the younger children more about Christ and His kingdom. We must prepare them for His works! Many young people haven't had to do without any thing, so they don't understand faith in something that you can NOT physically see! They must BELIEVE! They must have FAITH! Please continue to send us all new updates, especially regarding the mark of the beast developments.
PRINTING: I try to print some articles for my family to read (not your books - I buy all of them)the print is either too large or the page is too large. My printer misses parts of sentences either at the top, bottom, or edge of the page. I have learned that they pring better in landscape mode, but it still misses key sentences. Any suggestions on how to print them better! Keep up the great job you all are doing! Thank You
My reply Thanks for saying such nice things about me and my books.
I ran into some of the same problems in printing, right side was cut off. My printer cannot print the last half inch on each side. Therefore, I think the next time, I will cut and paste it into my word processor program and reduce the size before trying to print.
Incoming Email I just found your site and have read some of it. What I have read I find quite interesting. Your view of two raptures is something that I have never heard before. It does seem to make sense of several passages that are otherwise difficult to understand. If this is so,however, why did Paul not explain it to the Thessalonians who had heard rumor that the event had already occured and were distressed by that rumor. It would seem somewhat less than honest of God.
In fact all that Paul says in both first and second Thessalonians implies one rapture for all who are not in darkness. Do you think that those who died as in the Laodician church will be brought back for the tribulation?
I am naturally skeptical when someone claims a new revelation, though I do understand that in these last times the meaning of scriptures previously hidden will be revealed.
We are admonished to test the spirits. Why not include your testimony and a statement of your faith? Who are you? And who do you think Jesus is. Do I detect a dotrine of demons?
My reply > why did Paul not explain it to the Thessalonians
The whole Bible is here a little and there a little so only "the wise shall understand" (Dan. 12) and the wicked will be snared and taken.
Isa. 28:9-13 is clear. It says, "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts (i.e., when the church is old, as it is today). For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little...that they (those that "would not hear") might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken."
> Do you think that those who died as in the Laodician church will be brought back
> for the tribulation?
No. As a general rule, it is appointed once for man to die, and then the judgment.
> We are admonished to test the spirits. Why not include your testimony and a
> statement of your faith? Who are you? And who do you think Jesus is. Do I
> detect a dotrine of demons?
Look at the file with my picture. It has my BIO on it. I am a 69-year old great grandmother, a Baptist, who has studied the Bible intensively ever since before 1960.
Jesus Christ is the Almighty himself. In Rev. 1:8, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega (i.e., the first and last), the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
He is called Yahweh of hosts in Isa. 44:6: "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."
II Cor. 5:19 says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself." He is "Emmanuel...God with us" (Mt. 1:23).
> Do I detect a dotrine of demons?
Don't think so. I stick to Scripture. God spoke to me after waking me in the night. My heart was beating like a little bird trying to get out. I have never felt such terror. Immediately, he said, "Be still and know that I am God." and my heart quieted instantly. He must have opened my understanding that night, for it was after that that I began to be able to figure out things no one else seems to have been able to do.
It was about 20 years before I realized this, but it finally came clear when I read Job 33:15 in the Septuagint. It says, "When the Lord speaks once, or a second time, sending a dream, or in the meditation of the night; (as when a dreadful alarm happens to fall upon men, in slumberings on the bed:) then opens he the understanding of men."
I have prayed and prayed and prayed to understand right and for God to protect me from error. I made a mistake at first on when the Tribulation saints were caught up to Heaven, and he helped me see that it was at the end of the 2300 days of Dan. 8:14, not in the middle of the Tribulation when the two witnesses are caught up.
I could not figure out how long Armageddon lasted. In exasperation, I told him he would have to show me. He did. It rained 40 days and 40 nights here in Southern California. I have the tab section of the Santa Ana Register "The Savage Storm" with the beginning and ending dates in it. There were two huge storms, and it never stopped raining between those deluges. It just rained lighter.
I prayed to understand what the cherubim and flaming sword placed to the east of Eden were. He helped me figure it out.
I had no idea I was going to find out where Heaven was located, but he helped me even understand that.
He put a rectangle of light on Jer. 50:2 that said to publish and conceal not. So I go out on a limb and tell what I have found out, let the chips fall where they may.
It is your duty to examine the scriptures and see if these things are so.
You answered my most impotant question. I believe that you rightly understand what you are doing. I do not detect that you claim the blood of Jesus.
My reply Without shedding of blood is no remission. Without Jesus' perfect sacrifice and shedding of his blood, we would be without a Saviour.
Incoming Email I've been reading your books that you sent me and have been searching your webpage on a very frequent basis--usually daily. You've written some very thought provoking things and I'm always interested in the comments of others and your response.
You've been in my prayers regarding your health!!! Of course, I do pray about the success of your ministry!!! Indeed, the time is short!!!
When you are feeling better, I may have a few questions for you. Right now, I just pray for your vitality and stamina to return!!! God bless you, Marilyn!!!
My reply Thanks. I am feeling better each day. Am beginning mild exercise to get my strength back. It sure doesn't take many days in bed to lose muscle tone....
