"Human genome draft is complete. A new era in medicine began yesterday when once-feuding scientists confirmed they have produced a draft of the human genome, achieving what is being called one of the greatest feats in the history of science"
Dan 12:4 "Even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and Knowledge shall be increased." Dan 12:4
Watching and Praying...Come Quickly, Lord Jesus
That may be a bit optimistic. The article ends with this: "Collins said the effort supported by public funds had completed a 'rough draft' of the genome, which means that more than 97 percent of the chemical base pairs have been identified and sequenced, and about 85 percent has been placed in the correct order in the chromosomes.
"It is not all zipped up with every letter identified,' Collins told a news conference. 'That will take another two years.'
"Venter said the genome map produced by his company also has gaps that eventually will be filled.'"
That's a bit like celebrating the new century one year before it starts. Agape
Saturn again being a morning star seems significant. In Rev. 2:28, Jesus said of the overcomer, "I will give him THE MORNING STAR." This could indicate that the Rapture will be when Saturn is a morning star.
These rainbows of June 27th are associated with the sun and NOT precipitation. To me this makes them even more unusual. If anybody out there has ever seen anything like this before, please respond to Marilyn. I could never even imagine something like what we saw. I apologize to all the readers who may see my artwork, it is lousy. I wanted to get this out in a hurry. Agape
In the Bible, the number 40 means probation and testing. Jesus was in the wilderness being tested by Satan 40 days. Saul, David and Solomon each reigned 40 years. Out of this test, David won the right to rule again.
In Lu. 11:51, Jesus told the Pharisees in 30 AD, "From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of THIS GENERATION." It was, 40 years later, in 70 AD. I like the next verse. Jesus told them, "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the KEY OF KNOWLEDGE: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered." Agape
When we first accept Christ as our own personal Saviour, all our past sins are wiped off the books. We are counted as a pure virgin and get a fresh start.
Any known sins committed after that must be confessed to God so he can cleanse us of all unrighteousness. I Jn. 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Doing this is referred to as washing our robes to make them white in the blood of the Lamb in Rev. 7:14. This is what the Tribulation saints need to do, but it is also what we need to do to avoid being left behind to be part of the that crowd. Remember that the Bride wears white (Rev. 19:8).
It is the same as allowing the Lord to wash our feet. In John 13:5-10, after the Last Supper, Jesus "poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet...Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, IF I WASH THEE NOT, THOU HAST NO PART WITH ME. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit."
When we are cleansed from all unrighteousness, the sin barrier is gone that was between us and God, and we are back in fellowship with our holy God. Then his Holy Spirit will well up within us like a fountain of living water.
King David did not confess his sin for a whole year. He was most unhappy. He said it was as if the Lord was pushing him down with his hand. When he finally confessed his sin, he was back in fellowship with the Lord. We don't want to be out of fellowship at all, so the minute we slip and sin, we should confess it right then, and not wait.
We are running a race for "the PRIZE of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 3:14), the Rapture, when we will hear Jesus say, "Come up hither" (Rev. 4:1). In I Cor. 9:24-27, Paul said, " Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
Those that win the prize will not be castaways. The foolish Laodicean virgins are in danger of being castaway. Lu. 12:46 warns: "The lord of that servant (the unwise one) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (I think it's 2300 days of the Tribulation, Dan. 8:14) with the unbelievers."
Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders): there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This is not where we want to be. Remember the parable of the wedding feast? The man who did not have on a "wedding garment," i.e., a white robe, was cast out. Verses 12-14 say, "he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen."
In Rev. 17:14, we see that those that are with the Lord "are called, and chosen, and faithful." That is our goal, to be with the Lord, and to do that, we must be called, and chosen, and faithful. We must wear white, not literally, but spiritually. We must be clean in the Lord's sight.
May the Lord be with you. Agape
I read with interest the reader in South Africa who saw the double rainbow. At the time he saw the sign, I had answers to my prayers, which I have been praying fervently since the Pre-Trib Rapture did not occur on June 20th (solstice in my time zone). I received two answers to my prayers as to why the Lord was tarrying.
All the signs I have seen pointed to the beginning of the time to watch, AFTER June 20th. In otherwords, now the Lord is standing at the door. It is still NEAR summer after the solstice. I was reminded that originally I had two feasts given as the time, Pentecost and Rosh Hashannah. At that time was when I saw the two Raptures. Actually in addition to that, the two feasts given actually "bracket" the time to watch. Now I know this is a large interval, and it is the only revelation I have at the moment. I will keep praying and watching for signs. It is interesting that on the day of my prayers being spoken to, I experienced a very unique presence of the Holy Spirit I have not experienced ever before. It was incredible. Let's all keep looking, stay confessed, and forgive all those who trespass against us!
Agape to all the Spirit Filled Believers
1. Rosh HaShanah - "the Seven Festivals of the Messiah" page 130 I quote"Rosh HaShanah is called the hidden day because it was hidden from satan.......beleivers never said when the day of Rosh HaShanah was, they simply said "of that day and hour no man knows, only the Father". .........this saying is actually an idiom for Rosh HaShanah. Thus it should be given as proof that He is speaking about Rosh HaShanah because Rosh HaShanah is the only day in the whole year that was referred to as the Hidden day ot the day that no man knew.
This makes it very clear to all that when this phrase is used it is referring to the 2nd rapture not the 1st. It is an idiom and is actually telling us which festival rapture 2 happens on!! It does not apply to a pentecost rapture.
2. God gave these wedding customs to the Jewish people:-
a. The Father of the Bridegroom chose the Bride....the father would send a trusted servant to her - read Genesis 24 and the story of Abraham choosing Rebekah for Isaac. His servant is a type of Holy Spirit. We too are chosen by the Father and His Holy Spirit.
b. A Bride price was established. This was called a MOHAR Jesus paid a very high price for us on the Cross. It was so high that even He agonized at it's enormity Matthew 26:39.
c. The Bride and Groom were Betrothed to each other.......the first stage of the marriage was the Kiddushin. When the Bride said"I do" they were legally married though they did not live together. When you accept the Messiah into your heart and life you become betrothed to Him while living on earth.
d. A written document was drawn up known as the Ketubah. This betrothal contract in hebrew was called a "shitre erusin". This document states the Brides price, the promises the groom makes and the rights of the Bride. The word "ketubah" means "that which is written" The groom promises to work for her,to honor, support and maintain her in truth. To provide food, clothing and necessities, and to live together with her as husband and wife. The Ketubah was signed before the wedding ceremony. The Bible is the beleivers Ketubah
e. The Bride must give her consent...she must say "I do"...she must daily say "I do" Romans 10:8-10
f. Gifts were given to the Bride and they shared the cup of the covenant. Today a ring is given.....the rite of betrothal is called kiddushin which means "sanctification" Our gifts to our betrothed are love, commitment and loyalty(wise virgins). Our beloved gives us His Holy Spirit and His gifts of the Spirit
g. The Bride had a Mikvah (water Immersion)which was a ritual cleansing.......Mikvah means"body of water or pool" indicating leaving the old life for the new one with your spouse.......baptism in water.
h. The Bride groom departed....He left to return to his fathers house to prepare a bridal chamber, build a house and prepare for the wedding supper.......He would ceremoniously say "I go to prepare a place for you, if I go, I will return again unto you" These are the words used by Jesus before He left us John 14:1-3
h. The Bride being consecrated was set apart for a period of time while the Bridegroom was away building the house.........The groom could not return until THE FATHER GAVE HIS PERMISSION. Maybe that is what we are waiting for now??
i. The Groom would return with a shout "Behold the Bridegroom comes" and the sound of a rams horn (shofar) would be blown........He would usually return after midnight with a shout.
j. He would abduct His bride in the middle of the night to go to the marriage chamber were the marriage would be consumated. This full marriage was called Nesu'in......they would stay in their chamber for 7 days..."shavuah" or week can mean seven days or seven years.....the Tribulation.
k. Finally there is a wedding supper for all the guests invited by the Father...........the faithful will attend this wedding supper whilst the unfaithful will attend another where the fowls of the earth will feast on their fleshRev 19:17-18
Final observation.....if we are married from the time we give our lives to Jesus...then the foolish virgins are divorced for spiritual adultery? 2 Thess 2 :3 apostasia in the greek...in Hebrew divorcement! a seperation? The unwise christians do not realize that they are being unfaithful as they mix with this world and worship idols in their hearts...we are called to be a Holy people - set apart.
There is much more...worth a read even at this late stage...I ask for our Father to bless you Marilyn with health and strength.
ps I saw a rainbow the other day. I was thanking Father for it and telling Him how beautiful it was when I realised that it was a hot sunny June day and there was hardly a cloud in the sky - no chance of rain at all...I don't know for sure that there wasn't a little rain in the few clouds I saw but It was so strange that I wondered if it was another little sign that the ark is close.
pps two people got up in church on sunday and talked about the reference in the new testament about the "anchor of our faith" they gave a word on how the anchor holds us steady especially in rough seas.....that some of us might need to secure our anchors(faith) so that we do not loose our safe moorings in these testing times....it spoke to me.....my anchor dragged a bit when pentecost came and went. We need to secure our anchors and firm our faith in the face of the enemies sifting. much love in YAHshua
The anchor sign is probably double, because there are two Raptures. There were once two ships in the gospel written in the stars, just as there were two sheepfolds. Here is what Bullinger said on p. 159 in The Witness of the Stars:
"In Kircher's Egyptian Planisphere Argo is represented by two galleys (as we have two sheepfolds), whose prows are surmounted by rams' heads; and the stern of one of them ends in a fish's tail. One of the two occupies four segments of the sphere (from Taurus to Virgo), while the other occupies the four from Leo to Capricorn. One half of the southern meridians is occupied with these galleys and their construction and decorations."
The ships must have been an important part of the gospel story depicted by the Zodiac to take up so much space.
Glad you saw a rainbow too. Thanks for sharing all this with me. Agape
