Jesus is called "The Word" or logos in the bible. The words Alph and Omega the first and last letters of the greek alphabet are used in most conversations and sermons. However we need to remember that Our Lord was a Jewish Rabbi and not Greek. So the proper words to use is Alaph and Tav, the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The fist thing I thought of is that the Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters in it. It would only seem fitting that the planet Saturn would have 22 moons....Agape.
Today ---- (the Hindi girl) is fine and happy. She is now reading the bible and of course waiting for the Lord to take her and her baby to heaven. I am very very happy for her. she mails me often or chats with me regulary. I take time to explain her the new testament and some good websties mentioned in your links section in your website.
indeed the israel palestine conflict is shaking foundations all over the world. In all nations. Last week in the benny hinn show Benny hinn told there was a huge angelic force right now on earth. It also told the power of intercessory prayer in ones life.
Yet i believe thare are still billions in asia to hear the gospel properly and i strongly believe this is the great multitude that will come from the tribulation for God. This great multitude whom no one can count are the ones who will believe in Jesus Christ during the great tribulation.
We must remember most people in asia are not atheists. They have faith somekind of faith in some other religion. But once the tribulation starts. the antichrist will destroy the basis of all religions to declare himself as a god later on. But christianity will survive and cling on with power and faith. The unsaved mulittudes will see this. Since there is a faith in their hearts. many will see Jesus Christ as the true God. that includes the millions of hindus, buddhists and muslims and other smaller religions. The light of Christ will touch even those humble buddhist people living in the isolated regions of himalayan moutains far away from preachers or churches.
Inspite of the difficulties you have undergone in your own life it is inspiring to see how much you care for all those who write to you with their problems. I felt real sad after reading some of the problems you and your husband underwent. It also made me realize that God will never leave no matter what. Yet some are busy attacking and condemning you. Yet i just want to say to them to see the smile of a baby whose mother was touched by the prayers and love of Mrs. marilyn.
yes my country is watching the middle east carefully. but not with the intention of jews or muslims. my country is worried that the cost of fuel petrol can increase. yet that is also a main reason why most nations are looking at the middle east with some worry.
yet i watch the developments carefully. since news is not censored here i am able to get lots of information on middle east. where as ---- is having lot of difficulty getting news of middle east because she is in malaysia. and malaysia being islamic is banning lot of news concerning middle east.
yet i told her to keep watching and also told her to contact you. take care Mrs.Marilyn and do pray for us. We are also praying for you and your whole family. You spend 40 years of your life studying the word of God. now the day is comming when there will be a eternity to study more and greater wonderful things of this creation with God as our teacher.
Do remember me in your daily prayers to God and please tell Him not to forget poor me in the rapture. i got no mood to face that baboon antichrist. with love and prayers
That is the best news since she accepted Christ. Glad you, me, and the Lord could work together as her life line. You have had a profound influence on ---- too. I am grateful that you had emailed me before she did, so I would have someone from India to alert that another Indian needed help. Once, I told her to go to a Christian Church, that they were in the help business, but corresponding with a Christian of her own race was the best influence. She knows that you understand how she thinks, where I could not see through her eyes. She is more comfortable corresponding with you than me. I had to speak to her in no uncertain terms, telling her exactly what she should and shouldn't do. You could be more of an understanding friend. She needed both.
There also were many prayers in her behalf, not only from me, but from readers always ready to try to help. I told her what she should do, both spiritually and in her daily life, but you gave her the courage to do it. She could not continue in the path she was in. She had to make a clean break and get on with her life and figure out how to raise that precious child. She desperately needed the Lord in her life. He is the ultimate help in time of need.
> > the israel palestine conflict is shaking foundations all over the world.
True, but don't forget that in Mt. 24:6, Jesus said, " ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye BE NOT TROUBLED: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." In Mt. 11:28-30, he said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find REST unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." I hope Kamini has truly found rest unto her soul. She has found salvation, and your saying she is happy sounds like she has found rest too. Praise the Lord.
> > This great multitude whom no one can count are the ones who will believe in Jesus Christ during the great tribulation.
I sure hope so. The multitude come from all nations. We plant seeds that will produce fruit then.
> > Yet i just want to say to them to see the smile of a baby whose mother was touched by the prayers and love of Mrs. marilyn.
Thanks. I couldn't help but do my best to help that precious child not lose her mother.
> > do pray for us
I do, and thank you for your prayers in my behalf.
> > please tell Him not to forget poor me in the rapture. i got no mood to face that baboon antichrist.
Done. I got no mood to face him either. Thanks for helping ----. We owe you a debt of gratitude. Agape
Christians don't just "fall into" situations where they are tempted and tested. We have an adversary who roams about the entire world looking for those whom he may devour. Every single Christian I have ever known has gotten into some sort of bizarre thing or other. I don't know any "normal" Christians who aren't struggling fiercely with some addiction or compulsion or lack or situation.
I know many unsaved people for whom life is just going great. I know many unsaved people for whom life sucks. But I don't know any true born-again believers that have not gone through some wretched trial or other. I don't know whether I am wording this correctly or the way that the Lord would have me word it. I pray that I am. My point is that God brought Richard to your site. God watches over Richard with tender mercy and care. And it is God that is going to get him through all the things that he is experiencing.
One of the most important strongholds that I think Satan has is our faulty perception. Satan immediately attacks our standing with God when we stumble. The Adversary is quick to point out our flaws, weaknesses and shortcomings.
But we forget that the Lord God points them out too. The difference is that the Lord God sent us a Redeemer who bridged the gap between us and God. The Law was sent to condemn us so that we would know that we are condemned already. So that we would know that we are already separated from God. God does NOT sugar coat or whitewash this. But The Lamb of God was sent to fulfill the Law so that by putting on His righteousness we might be reconciled to God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I just want Richard to know that God is watching him. God has His hand on Richard. I know that it seems like things are really bad But he should not be moved by this circumstance. The way that things seem is NOT the way that things really are at all. It's so hard to convert God's truth into circumstancial reality. That is why we must let God do it. Yes, he needs NOT to smoke marijuana or be addicted to base things. Yes, he needs to align himself with the Lord by prayer and devotion to the Word.
As a man, I sometimes (rather frequently) feel the same way about the things that I have done. I used to smoke marijuana. I have done and continue to battle with the desire to do things that I ought not to have done and ought not to do. But the Lord God Almighty reaches down to me all the time to remind me that the Word of truth contains the reality that I am to live by. If I stumble, I know that I have an Advocate with the Father, that Advocate being the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ And I think that Richard should be reminded of that too.
I have gotten side tracked perhaps. Richard is in my prayers. I pray that the Lord God will renew Richard's mind. After all, that is what repent really comes from. It doesn't actually come from the Latin 'repænitare', even though that is what the word-historians tell us. It comes from the Latin 'repentare': to think anew or to rethink.
I'd like to remind Richard that the Blood of Christ has paid the price for his sin-debt. I'd like to remind Richard that when Jesus left us, He sent us a Comforter (The Holy Spirit) who leads us into the truth. The Holy Spirit tells us nothing on His own, but only what He hears from the Lord. I'd like to remind Richard to get into the Word (both the written word and the Word of Truth Christ Jesus) by spending time in the Scriptures and in prayer.
I am praying that the One who is able to see us through until the Day of Jesus Christ will guard and hold and help Richard. He has my prayers that even though Satan will make Scripture reading time and prayer time seem stupid and useless and empty, the reading out loud of the Scriptures and the time spent in talking to God (especially when telling God about Richard's own shortcomings and failures) will water the seed that the Lord Himself planted within Richard's spirit 17 years ago....Your brother in Christ
The reason I was wondering whether the redemption of the Bride of Christ was a separate event from the Bride being snatched away was because of the model of the Jewish engagement and wedding. I believe the Father usually pays for the redemption of the Bride before the groom comes and snatches the Bride away. However, I don't see why it couldn't occur at the same time. And what kind of event would we be looking for to tell whether this had happened beforehand?
Another thing is I think that Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, came into the World and was conceived of the Virgin Mary, on the first day of the Festival of Lights, Kislev 25. For example this coming up Kislev 25, 5762 when nine prophetic months are added to it (270 days) for human gestation one comes to exactly Tishri 1 which you said you think is the date Christ was born. So we come up with the same date. However some may argue that human gestation is 40 weeks instead of 9 months so we could be off by 10 days. Of course Kislev 25 sometimes coincides with December 25th as it did in 1978.
I believe Jesus fulfilled the Festival of Lights when He first came into the World. In the book Arithmetic of God it states under the number 25, "King Jehoiachin was pardoned on the 25th day of the 12th month. Here we see number 12, divine authority and power by which man must be forgiven of his sins, and 25, which stands for forgiveness of sins." There's much more rich insight under 25 in the book but I'll stop there.
What leads me to associate the wedding of the Lamb of God with the Feast of Tabernacles is that Jesus is the Brides Tabernacle or covering. And we know that something very significant is going to occur on what looks like the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles because it is written:
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zechariah 14:16
Before I forget it, I have a book called "Bible Doctrines" by P.C. Nelson, first published in 1948 which has the following in it's appendix which I thought would be good to share with those that have a different perspective of history.
Appendix: The Time of the Rapture
1. The snatching of the bride of Christ has come to be known as the Rapture. This word is coming into general use, but is not found in our English Bibles. It comes from the word used in the Latin versions of 1 Thess. 4:17, Translating the Greek word meaning to catch or snatch away, and rendered in the Authorized and Revised Standard Versions as "caught up."
2. Until recently, nearly all the Fundamentalists, including the Pentecostals, held that the rapture of the saints is to take place before the Great Tribulation. At a meeting of the General Presbyters of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1932, it was reported that in one section of the country certain brethren were teaching that the saints must go through the Tribulation, and with such emphasis, that some assemblies were being disturbed, and some were being divided, and some were withdrawing fellowship from the Council on account of this doctrine. After considerable discussion, the General Presbyters unanimously passed this resolution: "That we reaffirm our position as being definitely behind the Statement of Fundamental Truths and the declaration therin that we believe in the imminent personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ as the blessed hope of the church, and that we disapprove any of our minister teaching that the church must go through the tribulation."...
In closing, do I think the snatching away of the Bride will happen this coming Christmas Eve? I don't know. I haven't seen this expressed in your pages but I think a lot of evidence points instead to January 23rd. I have thought whether to wait to share this but have thought instead I shouldn't "hide my light under a basket" and go ahead and let you share this with your large audience.
1. Jesus was around 33 1/2 when raptured into Heaven. What if Jerusalem will have been under Jewish Rule the same exact time since June 7, 1967 when the Bride of Christ is raptured into Heaven? What is interesting is that the Bride appears to be exactly the same age as Jesus was when He was raptured as of January 23, 2001. A reader in P&C 600, seventh incoming mail asked essentially the same question. You had answered for the number of days after Jesus's birthday (Tishri 1) to Nisan 13, his death, being 190 but I didn't see where you went on to complete the calculation. Add 40 days for ascension which gives 230. Take June 7, 1967 to June 7, 2000 as 33 years. Now use any calendar program such as www.calendarmaven.com to add 230 days and you should get January 23, 2000.
2. January 23, 1950 was when Jerusalem was first declared Israel's capital. According to Sir Isaac Newton, Jesus would return before the 49 years were up following this event as these 49 years represented the last seven weeks in Daniel. Add another year for it being a Jubilee year and for it being the year of betrothel or courtship and this ended on January 23, 2000. The snatching should be any time within this coming year and could be at the very last day.
3. January 23, 1997 there was a "Star of David" documented that appeared in the Heavens
Thursday, (January 23, 1997)... For the first time since the Renaissance, the heavens will briefly line up in a perfect six-pointed star -- a galactic Star of David. ...The last time the alignment took place was in 1475. ...www.awarenet.com:80/jan.html. although from an occultic perspective. What would we expect?
4. January 23, 1999 was the largest gamma ray burst ever recorded. Jesus coming for His betrothed? You have this well documented on your site.
5. I found this reading a book which stated that Roman Catholics celebrate January 23rd as the betrothal day of Mary & Joseph
6. Esther was taken in the tenth month (a reference to the timing of the Bride redemption?) to the King. The next 10th month, now called Tevet, ends on the Tevet 29, 5761, January 24, 2001.
7. Adding 2300 days to January 23, 2001 brings one to June 3, 2007, 4 days short of exactly 40 years since Jerusalem was captured. This may not mean anything but is an interesting coincidence with the number 2300 as found in Daniel and I didn't want to stop with only 6 references. Shalom
As I understand it, Christ paid the price for the Bride's redemption in 30 AD.
> > (270 days) for human gestation
It is 280 days, a little better than 9 months.
> > Kislev 25 sometimes coincides with December 25th
It also sometimes coincides with Dec. 13, my birthday. I do think Jesus was conceived around that time of year, but not necessarily on Dec. 25. I think scripture is clear that Jesus was born as the former rain, which starts Tishri 1, and will return as the latter rain, which starts Nisan 1 (Hos. 6:3; Eze. 29:17,21). De. 11:14 says, "I will give you the rain of your land in HIS DUE SEASON, the first rain (former rain) and the latter rain." The Second Advent on Nisan 1 is perfect, since it is both the Jewish Regnal Year and their Sacred Year, Regnal because He is King of kings, Sacred because he is Lord of lords. I think Jesus Christ will return on the same day all the other Israelite kings officially took office.
Thanks for copying what P.C. Nelson said. I had not read it before. It is interesting.

Ascension Day was 40 days after the Resurrection on the Feast of Firstfruits, Nisan 16. However, the Rapture did not happen on Jan. 23, 2000, so something else figures in.
> > The snatching should be any time within this coming year and could be at the very last day.
If the 70th week of Daniel is to start on the Feast of Weeks, I expect to be in our new home before May 28, 2001.
> > Esther was taken in the tenth month (a reference to the timing of the Bride redemption?) to the King. The next 10th month, now called Tevet, ends on the Tevet 29, 5761, January 24, 2001.
"So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus (meaning lion king) into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign" (Esth. 2:16). In the Bible, when no day number is given, we are to understand that it refers to the first day of the month. This is because the same word means month and new moon. The first of each month was the new moon. Teveth 1, 5761 is Dec. 27, 2000.
> > Adding 2300 days to January 23, 2001 brings one to June 3, 2007, 4 days short of exactly 40 years since Jerusalem was captured.
The shortened Tribulation ends on the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord. It is also the Day of God's Wrath, when destruction hits Earth to stop Gog's army that is invading Israel. It is the FEAST OF TRUMPETS, NOT JUNE 3. Mal. 2:3 says, "your solemn FEASTS; AND ONE SHALL TAKE YOU AWAY WITH IT." Rev. 8:2 says, "I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven TRUMPETS."
Jer. 4:19-26 says, "the sound of the TRUMPET, THE ALARM OF WAR. DESTRUCTION UPON DESTRUCTION is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment. How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the TRUMPET? For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had NO LIGHT. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence (paneh, face, i.e., the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30; Rev. 6:14f) of the LORD, and by his fierce ANGER."
Joel 1:15 says, "Alas for the day! for the DAY OF THE LORD is at hand, and as a DESTRUCTION FROM THE ALMIGHTY (Christ, Rev. 1:8) shall it come." Joel 2:1-3 says, " Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and sound an ALARM in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the DAY OF THE LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of THICK DARKNESS, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong (Gog's united nations' army); there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them."
Isa. 13:6-13 says, "Howl ye; for the DAY OF THE LORD is at hand; it shall come as a DESTRUCTION FROM THE ALMIGHTY....they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the DAY OF THE LORD cometh, cruel both with WRATH and fierce ANGER, to lay the land desolate: and HE SHALL DESTROY THE SINNERS THEREOF OUT OF IT. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be DARKENED in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I WILL PUNISH THE WORLD FOR THEIR EVIL, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I WILL SHAKE THE HEAVENS, AND THE EARTH SHALL REMOVE OUT OF HER PLACE, in the WRATH of the LORD OF HOSTS (the redeemer, Christ, Isa. 44:6), and in the day of his fierce ANGER."
Nu. 10:9,10 says, "if ye go to WAR IN YOUR LAND against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall BLOW AN ALARM WITH THE TRUMPETS; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and YE SHALL BE SAVED FROM YOUR ENEMIES. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and IN THE BEGINNINGS OF YOUR MONTHS, YE SHALL BLOW WITH THE TRUMPETS."
Eze. 7:14 says, "They have blown the TRUMPET, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for MY WRATH is upon all the multitude thereof."
Zeph. 1:14-17 says, "The great DAY OF THE LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the DAY OF THE LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a DAY OF WRATH, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a DAY OF DARKNESS and gloominess, a day of clouds and THICK DARKNESS, A day of the TRUMPET AND ALARM against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD."
Hos. 5:7-9 says, "They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a MONTH (chodesh, the new moon, the first of the month, the Feast of Trumpets) devour them with their portions. Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the TRUMPET in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin. Ephraim shall be desolate in the DAY OF REBUKE: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be."
The way I see it, the Feast of Trumpets being the only feast that begins on the 1st of the month, the 2300 days of Dan. 8:13,14 have to end on the Feast of Trumpets. Then count back the 2300 days by Jewish inclusive reckoning. You will end up on the Feast of Weeks for the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel. That is perfect. God works logically. Agape
Chay ("life") seems to be part of the answer. The rest is wrapped up in the phrase "The time of...". It's interesting that all occurrances of the phrase describe the birth day of a male child that is long sought for and is the heir and one that prevents the father's line from dying out. So I understand "the time of life" to mean that moment when the child chemically signals to the mother that it is time to start the birth process; a time that can be generally determined if one knows enough about biology and the mother in particular but is rather difficult to determine the exact moment because of the myriad of interacting processes surrounding the baby's development and the mother's health. But when the baby signals "Ready!" the birth process starts and, most of the time, proceeds to completion regardless of the mother's (and others) opinion.
So rather than a calendar driving the event, the baby does. Issac's birth is described in Gen 21:2 as "...and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him."
The phrase "set time" appears in these verses: Gen 21:2; Ex 9:5. Strong's has 4150 for "set" in this usage: mowed or moed or (feminine) mowadah, all meaning a fixed time or season, or a signal or meeting or season or time determined in advance, implying that some event or activity will occur at the prearranged time. There is the sense of at least two people (or beings) planning for something to take place at a specific time in the future.
Do you have any idea of the date of Issac's birth? Maybe there's a clue in there after all.
> > bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him."
A "SET TIME" leaves no room for the baby to do the signalling at its own whim. God knows how to arrange for things to happen when he plans for them to happen.
Moed is an appointment, a fixed time, spec. a FESTIVAL, a solemn FEAST. The feast day is the Feast of Trumpets. Hos. 6:3 says that the Lord will come as the former rain and the latter rain. The former rain starts Tishri 1. The latter rain starts Nisan 1, the first day of the Jewish Regnal Year and Sacred Year. Agape
