Notice the SEQUENCE of events. Esther represents the WISE virgins of Matthew ch. 25 and the "other " virgins of verse 19 are those that are "gathered" at the START of the Kingdom of God.
The sequence is the Firstfruits Rapture of the Bride in verse 16, "Esther was TAKEN" to the Royal House. Then in verse 18 there is a "RELEASE" made. This would be the JUBILEE year of the Start of the Millenium on the earth when God "makes a relase to the provinces" --- that is the nations of the world. This would fit in with the scenerio of the 2000 biblical years ending on 2004.5 --which is exaclty 40 periods of 50 years Jubilees from the crucifixion. The "taking " of Esther would be 3.5 years before that time, which would be the year 2001.
The "other" virgins are not "gathered together" until the 2nd coming in Power as described in Matthew 24, when Jesus will send forth His angels to gather "His elect." This sequence appears to fit. God Bless
Here is some other food for thought. Let's take another look at Esther (hidden, secret, star). Ahasuerus (lion king) made a feast in the 3rd year of his reign (1:3). At that time, Vashti was called and would not come. Esther and other virgins were GATHERED in the 6th year of his reign. Esther was purified one year after that and was taken to the king in the 7th year of his reign (2:16). She was made Queen instead of Vashti.
From the 3rd year of the king's reign to his 7th was 4 years. What if those 4 years fit the 4 years in the parable of the barren fig tree in Lu. 13:6-9? The Lord comes and looks for fruit on the fig tree (Israel) in the 1st two years and finds none. Then in the 3rd year, he speaks. That could be when he will say, "Come up hither" (Rev. 4:1) and the wise virgins will be brought to the king. The extra year speaks of peace to Israel under the 1st seal (Rev. 6), the 4th year of the parable, and maybe the 12 months of purifying the virgins, as Esther was purified 12 months. The Marriage of the Lamb is not yet, so Esther was not made Queen in the 6th year.
Just as a trial, lets say that the 6th year when the virgins are gathered is 2001. Three years previous to that would be 1998, which I think was the 6000th year since Adam was cast out of Eden. Christ speaking in the 3rd year of the parable would fit the Rapture in 2001.
Let's consider the Modern Parallels too, adding 400, 430, 450, 480, 483 and 490 years to 5278, when Martin Luther tacked his 95 theses to the church door and Gen. Allenby took Jerusalem.
In one, we have 480 years, which was 5758 (1997/1998). (5278 + 480 = 5758.) Maybe it was the beginning of the 4 years in the parable of the barren fig tree. In the very next parallel, we have 483 years, which would be 5761 (2000/2001). That fits the 3rd year of that parable, the year in which Jesus speaks. It could be the Rapture and beginning of the Tribulation. The last parallel is 490, which would then be 5768 (2007/2008), year of the beginning of the 1000-year Day of the Lord, and 7 months later, the Second Advent. Mull it over a bit and see what you think. Agape
According to many religious the world is not supposed to have the rapture for about 100 or more years. Also, I always thought a generation was 25 to 30 years.
> > The first 36 months are good but the final 36 months are very very bad
The 7 seals are opened after the Rapture takes place and Christ is given the 7-sealed Title Deed of the Earth. The seals are opened about 1 per year until the Tribulation is shortened between the 7th and 7th seals. Then the 7th is opened the next day after the 6th is opened on the last day of this age. When the 3rd seal is broken there will be famine. When the 4th seal is broken, 1/4th of the people on Earth will die (Apoc. 6:8), and at that point, the worst is still to come. Very very bad is right. The asteroids of Apoc. 8:8,10 will destroy civilization as we know it. There will be a worldwide earthquake and every wall will fall (Eze. 38:20; Apoc. 16:18).
> > According to many religious the world is not supposed to have the rapture for about 100 or more years
They will be wrong. Ever since Israel became and nation and grew leaves, the Rapture is nigh. When the Israelites came out of Egypt, the males 20 and up were counted. Those 19 and under were the young. The year 1967 was the last year that the fig tree parable of Mt. 24:32-34 could be fulfilled, because Israel was 19. Forty years from 1967 is 2007.
On Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007), I think the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, and the stars (aster, stars or asteroids) shall fall from heaven. The smoky atmosphere will be rolled aside like a scroll and the Sign of the Son of Man will be seen in Heaven (Mt. 24:29,30; Apoc. 6:14f). At that time, Christ "will send forth his angels with a trumpet and a great sound, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other" (Mt. 24:31, Conf). These are the Bride group that were taken up to Heaven before the Tribulation began. They are gathered to "Mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, and to the Church of the firstborn who are enrolled in the heavens, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, and to Jesus, mediator of a new covenant" (Heb. 12:22-24, Conf). They are gathered to the general assembly because Jesus is to receive his golden crown and his kingdom, the Marriage of the Lamb will follow his Coronation.
At the same time, those Tribulation saints that are to be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture will be gathered to the assembly. Mk. 13:27 (Conf) says, "then he will send forth his angels, and will gather his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost parts of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost parts of HEAVEN" (those caught up previously in the Pre-Trib Rapture). After all saints are present, the Lord will sit and judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. The saints will receive their rewards for their faith and righteous deeds while the unbelievers on Earth receive their just rewards for their unbelief. Apoc. 11:18 says, "the nations were angered (Gog's united nations' army attacking Israel, Eze. 38), but thy wrath came and the time for the dead to be judged, and for giving the reward to thy servants--the prophets, and the saints, and those who fear thy name, the small and the great--and for destroying those who corrupted the earth."
If that day is Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007), and the Tribulation lasts 2300 days up to that day, the first Rapture has to take place between now and the beginning of the Tribulation on next Pentecost.
I am convinced that the Rapture will be in the spring. Canticles 2:10-15 (Conf) says, "My lover speaks; he (i.e., Christ the Bridegroom) says to me, ARISE, MY BELOVED (i.e., the Bride of Christ), my beautiful one, and come! "For see, the WINTER IS PAST, THE RAINS ARE OVER AND GONE. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of pruning the vines has come, and the song of the dove is heard in our land (Apr. through Oct.). The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines, in BLOOM, give forth fragrance. ARISE, my beloved, my beautiful one, and COME! "O my dove in the clefts of the rock (i.e., in Christ), in the secret recesses of the cliff, Let me see you, let me hear your voice, For your voice is sweet, and you are lovely." Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that damage the vineyards; for our vineyards are IN BLOOM!" It is the time of the firstripe grapes. The former rains of Tishri and the latter rains of Nisan are over and gone. The next feast is Pentecost, in the spring.
> > I always thought a generation was 25 to 30 years
If you read Websters, it is 33 years. If you read the Bible, it is 40 years. Nu. 32:13 says, "the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness FORTY YEARS, until all the GENERATION, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed." In 30 AD, Jesus told the Pharisees that all those things would fall on "this generation" (Mt. 22:36). They did, 40 years later, in 70 AD. Agape
And perhaps I would fall in a trap if I did. We are being tested, and I intend to come through with flying colors. I don't want to miss a thing.
> > When Jesus told us in God's Word that no man knows the day or the hour, not even Himself or the angels, only His Father. When He said "no man" that's exactly what He meant (there are no exceptions).
The word "knoweth" is present tense. It was true in the day in which it was stated. It does not say we will never know. Mt. 24:35,36 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." I think we can now not only know the DAY but the HOUR that the atmospheric heavens and some of the elements of the Earth shall pass away in the asteroid impacts.
The day, probably Thursday, Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). The hour, noon.
II Peter 3:10-13 says, "the day of the Lord (the Millennium) will come (first day) as ('like' and 'as' are symbolic language) a thief in the night; in the which the HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY with a great noise, and the ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God (day of God's Wrath), wherein THE HEAVENS BEING ON FIRE SHALL BE DISSOLVED, AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new (kainos, refreshed) heavens and a new (kainos, refreshed) earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."
The asteroids will impact Earth at noon. Zeph. 2:3-5 says, "Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid (the Pre-Wrath Rapture is that day) in the day of the LORD'S ANGER (1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord). For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the NOON day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast." Amos 8:9 says, "it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at NOON, and I will darken the earth in the clear DAY." Job 20:23 says, "When he (the wicked one, i.e., the False Prophet) is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his WRATH upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is EATING."
> > All we need to know is that His coming is near.
The Laodiceans may believe as much. Jesus told us to watch for a good reason. Watching made it possible to know the day and hour that no man knew in 30 AD. Israel growing leaves and taking the temple area in the Six-Day War of 1967 made it possible to figure out the day and hour that a portion of the atmosphere will be blasted away and a portion of earth will melt with fervent heat when the asteroids of Rev. 8:8,10 impact Earth.
> > When you try to set dates (like you and others who have been wrong over and over), you're only causing people to doubt that Jesus ever will return--you do more harm than good.
I am doing what I think the Lord wants me to do. You do what you think the Lord wants you to do. He is the judge. Mt. 7:1 says, "Judge not, that ye be not judged." I saw a rectangle of light on Jer. 30:3 that said to publish and conceal not. I am doing my best to do that.
I am watching for his return and studying the Bible to see if I can figure out what the Lord meant by every bit of it. I am not saying that things have to happen when I think they will. I am not a prophet. I am just sharing the way it looks to me. It is up to you to compare everything with Scripture and see if these things are so. You are responsible for what you do or don't do. Same with me.
In Lu. 21:25, Jesus said there would be signs in the Sun, Moon and Constellations. I am watching for those too. In v. 28, He said, "when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." We are supposed to watch. Then we KNOW when he is nigh. I don't think we are supposed watch up to a point, then say that he is near and quit watching from that point on, either. Jesus didn't put a limit on how long we were to watch. I'll watch until he comes.
I am saying that we should be certain that we have used I Jn. 1:9 and confessed all sins committed since we accepted Christ. We must be ready. There is no time to go buy the oil of the Holy Spirit after the Bridegroom comes. We must be ready ahead of time. Are you ready? Agape
In Scripture, a woman is a symbol of a religious group. In Apoc. 17:18, "the woman...is the great city which has kingship over the kings of the earth." This is Vatican City now. However, in the Tribulation, she will move to literal Babylon in the desert. At that time, she will be joined together with all nations and religions. In Scripture, the sea and waters represent "peoples and nations and tongues" (Apoc. 17:15), and this woman "sits upon many waters (nations), with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication" (joined) (Apoc. 17:2). This religious group sits "upon a scarlet-colored beast (the great red dragon, Satan), full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns" (17:3). The religious group has "upon her forehead a name written--a mystery Babylon the great, the mother of the harlotries (false religions) and of the abominations (idols) of the earth" (17:5). This religious group began with the Mystery Religion of Babylon at the Tower of Babel and will end with Babylon III.
The moving of Vatican City to Babylon is seen in Zacharia 5:5-11 (Conf). It says, "Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth. "What is it?" I asked. And he answered, "This is a bushel (ephah, largest wheat measure, i.e., largest church) container coming. This is their guilt in all the land (i.e., all the world)." Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman (religious group of Apoc. 17) sitting inside the bushel. "This is Wickedness," he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening. Then I raised my eyes and saw two women (two religious groups) coming forth with a wind ruffling their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. As they lifted up the bushel into the air, I said to the angel who spoke with me, "Where are they taking the bushel?" He replied, "To build a temple for it in the land of Senaar (Babylon); when the temple is ready, they will deposit it there in its place" (where the Tower of Babel was, Gen. 11:2).
Apoc. 17:9 says, "here is the meaning (of the 7 headed dragon) for him who has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains (kingdoms) upon which the woman (Mystery Religion of Babylon) sits; and they are seven kings; five of them have fallen, ONE IS, and the other has not yet come."
These 7 world empires are (1) Babel, (2) Babylon II, (3) Media-Persia, (4) Greece, (5) Roman Empire, (6) Ecclesiastical Roman Empire, headed up by the Beast in the first half of the Tribulation, and (7) Babylon III, headed up by the False Prophet in the last half of the Tribulation.
I can't tell you who the Beast and False Prophet will turn out to be. Believers are called the salt of the Earth, and salt retards the growth of leaven (i.e., evil). The indwelling Holy Spirit in believers is hindering the appearance of the False Prophet, the "wicked one" (2 Thess. 2:8). However, when the Rapture takes place, the Beast will already be in power. He is the one who "IS" in power in Apoc. 17:10. In that chapter, the Rapture has just taken place for in v. 14, they who are "WITH HIM," Christ, are "called, and chosen, and faithful." So whatever Pope is in power when the Rapture takes place will become the Beast of the Tribulation. I hope it is not this one, but another, but we will just have to watch and see what develops.
Whomever he will be, the Beast will come on the scene at the beginning of the Tribulation riding a white horse as a prince of peace. Apoc. 6:2 says, "behold, a white horse, and he who was sitting on it had a bow (toxon, simple fabric, i.e, a man of the cloth, a religious leader), and there was given him a crown" (head over united world government and united world religions).
Yes, I believe Aids is a chastisement from God.
> > Are you definitely positive about 5/28/01 and it could not be 6/01/01?
I am human and can make mistakes. I am not a prophet. I cannot say anything for sure unless I quote Scripture, but I just say how it looks to me after 40 years of intensive Bible study. Sivan 6, 5761 (5/28/01) seems to be the beginning of the Tribulation. It is the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost. It would be very like the Lord to start the clock for Daniel's 70th week on the same feast that the clock stopped for Israel in 30 AD--Pentecost. As for 6/01/01, I don't think so, because the 2300-day shortened Tribulation would not end on Tishri 1, 5768, which I think is the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord and the Day of God's Wrath on the united nations' army attacking Israel (Eze. 38:18-20).
> > What will happen on the earth and in the heavens on 5/28/01?
If that is the day of the Rapture, Christ will come and we will rise to meet him in the air (I Thess. 4:13-18). I don't think we are told what will happen on Earth that day except that many will see the Rapture take place, fear the Lord, and trust in Him. Psa. 40:1-3 (Conf) says, "I have waited (maybe one year), waited (maybe a second year) for the Lord, and he stooped toward me (maybe in the third year) and heard my cry. He DREW ME OUT of the pit of destruction, out of the mud of the swamp (i.e., out of these bodies of clay); He set my feet upon a crag (rock, i.e., Heaven); he made firm my steps. And he put a NEW SONG into my mouth, a hymn to our God. MANY SHALL LOOK ON IN AWE AND TRUST IN THE LORD."
After the Rapture, we sing a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the scroll and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us for God with thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and has made them for our God a kingdom and priests, and they shall reign over the earth" (Apoc. 5:9).
As at Sinai, where the Lord came down on the "third day" (Ex. 19:11), and as the Resurrection came on the third day, in the parable of the barren fig tree, notice that Jesus only speaks in the THIRD YEAR. He will speak at the Rapture, a rank in the First Resurrection (Apoc. 20:5), and say "Come up hither" (Apoc. 4:1).
Lu. 13:1-9 (Conf) says, "And he (Jesus) spoke this parable: "A certain man (Jesus) had a fig tree (Israel) planted in his vineyard (the world); and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none (3 years). And he said to the vine-dresser, 'Behold, for THREE YEARS now (1998 [6000th year] + 3 = 2001) I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree (Israel), and I find none. Cut it down therefore (the Tribulation begins); why does it still encumber the ground?' But he answered him and said, 'Sir, let it alone this year too (peace during 1st year of the Tribulation), till I dig around it and manure it. Perhaps it may bear fruit; but if not, then afterwards thou shalt cut it down.'""
God singled out 6 blocks of years in the 400s and saw to it that they were mentioned in Scripture--400, 430, 450, 480, 483 and 490. Added to 5278 (Oct. 1517), when Martin Luther tacked his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany, these years seem to sketch major end-time events. I call them the Modern Parallels.
(1) 5278 + 400 = 5678 (1917/1918), the Balfour Declaration was signed, modern Exodus began
(2) 5278 + 430 = 5708 (1947/1948), Israel became a nation
(3) 5278 + 450 = 5728 (1967/1968), Six-Day War, when Israel grew leaves
(4) 5278 + 480 = 5758 (1997/1998), possible end of 6000 years since Adam cast out of Eden
(5) 5278 + 483 = 5761 (2000/2001), possible 1st Rapture and beginning of Tribulation
(6) 5728 + 490 = 5768 (2007/2008), possible 2nd Rapture, Day of God's Wrath, Second Advent
The 3 years of the parable of the barren fig tree fit into this framework.
I think the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord will be Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). This is 7 good years and 7 bad years from Sept. 13, 1993, when the Oslo Accords were signed. The Accords were ratified 3 days later in Israel on Tishri 1, 5754. Add the 7 good years and 7 bad years, as when Joseph was in Egypt, and you get Tishri 1, 5768, which just happens to be Sept. 13, 2007. That seems like something the Lord would plan.
Subtract the 2300-day shortened Tribulation (Dan. 8:13,14) from Tishri 1, 5768 and you get Sivan 6, 5761 (May 28, 2001). Be sure you are ready in case the Rapture takes place that day. Agape
***From Marilyn: Thanks. The departure (Rapture) is here "the standing off."
> > Here is Rev 12:10 "And I heard voice great in the heaven saying, now became the deliverance and the power and the kingdom of the God of us and the authority of the Christ of him, because was thrown the accuser of the brothers of us, the one accusing them before the God of us day and night."
***In the Lord's prayer, Jesus said, "And lead us not into temptation (i.e., the Tribulation), but deliver us from evil (i.e., Satan): For thine is the KINGDOM, and the POWER, and the glory, for ever. Amen" (Mt. 6:13). The power and kingdom are mentioned in Rev. 12:10.
***It sounds like we are kept from the Tribulation by the Pre-Trib Rapture, then Satan still accuses some brethren before God during the first half of the Tribulation (1st 1260 days), until he is cast down to Earth to enter into the False Prophet. At this point, Heaven is purified, but evil is left on the Earth for another 1260 days. Then dominion over Earth will be taken away from Satan at the Judgment of the Nations, after Satan has played his last card, operating as "the eighth" of Rev. 17:11, the tail of the great red dragon himself.
***It may be that the "deliver" in the Lord's prayer results in the ultimate "deliverance" of Rev. 12:10.
> > Here is Rev 17:14 "These with the lamb will make war and the lamb will conquer them, because Master of masters he is and king of kings and the with him called and select and trustful."
***We are with him at this point. The Rapture has just taken place when he called the select and trustful to "Come up hither." Agape, Marilyn.
