Incoming Email, Re: Really interesting Jewish site
I was reading on the Dead Sea Scrolls and came accross this site that I think you should look at.
This archaelogyst is working on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Take a few minutes and check it out.
My reply Thank you for bringing this site to my attention. I gleaned some interesting information from "Timing is Everything," by Scott Huckleberry and drew my own conclusions.
King David was anointed king by the prophet Samuel at Gilgal. Gilgal means circle, a circle standing upright like a wheel. After Absalom wrested the kingdom away from David, and when David was reinstated, it was at Gilgal. Joshua entered Gilgal. The Tabernacle was raised at Gilgal.
Now for a most interesting thing that I didn't know. The city of Gilgal is located in the Kikar of the Jordan. Kikar means a circle lying down flat. A kikar is a circular flat basin that rises in a series of ever-widening concentric circles.
My own conclusions: If you set up a Gilgal upright circle in the kikar flat circle with its ever-widening concentric circles, you have a graphic representation of the sphere of Heaven with its concentric rings, just as you do with the circle within a circle within a circle layout of the Levitical City, a city of refuge. This is similar to the concentric circles of the Israelite camp around the Tabernacle in the wilderness, as described by Josephus. Imagine spinning the Gilgal circle like a top and you get an even better picture.
King David stands for the greater Son of David, Christ. When Christ receives his golden crown, it will be in Heaven. The Marriage of the Lamb will also be in Heaven. That is why the first miracle was making water wine at a wedding at Cana of Galilee. Galilee also means circle, and the wine suggests the kingdom of God. In Lu. 22:18, Jesus said, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. As soon as Christ is crowned, the Marriage of the Lamb takes place--in Heaven.
In the English Septuagint, translated from the Greek Scripture used in Jesus' day, Zech. 3:1-10 says, "And the Lord shewed me Jesus (Joshua from Hebrew is Jesus from the Greek) the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and the Devil stood on his right hand to resist him...If thou wilt walk in my ways, and take heed to my charges, then shalt thou judge my house: and if thou wilt diligently keep my court, then will I give thee men to walk in the midst of these that stand here. Hear now, Jesus the high priest, thou, and thy neighbors that are sitting before thee: for they are diviners (mowpheth, men who in their persons shadow forth future events), for, behold, I bring forth my servant The Branch. For as for the stone (planet) which I have set before the face of Jesus, on the one stone are seven eyes (orbs, rings)." It also was the seventh in the original planetary lineup before Satan's planet Rahab was split apart.
Ezekiel saw Heaven and said, "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about" (Ezek. 1:28). John saw it and said, "there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald (Judah's stone in the high priest's breastplate)" (Rev. 4:3). Jesus, our High Priest, is of the tribe of Judah. It all hangs together.
Incoming Email I really love your site and believe the Lord has revealed a lot to you. I have known Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior five years now and I too believe He will be coming soon to take His Bride. I shared some of the info from your site to my husband and unfortunatly he was pretty skeptical. The Lord has been drawing me closer to Himself and I know that I am not even close to where I should be, I feel very unworthy of His Love for me. Yet I know He loves me and the work he has begun in me will be completed. Thankyou for sharing what the Lord has revealed to you.
My reply Thanks for sharing this with me. We should be skeptical until we search the scriptures and see if these things be so.
Since one of the attributes of God is love, if his Holy Spirit is in us, his love is in us. It flows from God through us out to other people too. Christians feel the bond of the Holy Spirit when in fellowship with God, and have fellowship one with another. The world can't understand this, but we know it is real.
Incoming Email I perused your web page with great interest, and based on what I've seen have come to the opinion that you are someone who genuinely loves the Lord, and someone who has diligently searched the Scripture in search of truth.I also disagree with many of the presuppositions with which this search has been made, and I am very convinced that however sincere you may be (and I believe you to be completely honest and sincere), you are also sadly mistaken.
I am also a follower of Jesus Christ, and because I am nothing more or less than a sinner who deserves hell who has been saved by God's grace, I am hardly in a position to criticize another believer. It's not my purpose to criticize or insult you in any way -- but I wanted to let you know (as I'm certain you already do) that there are people whose conclusions from Scripture differ from yours -- people whose devotion to Jesus and the Bible are every bit as sincere as your own. Please don't take my disagreement with your conclusions as persecution or hatred of you personally, for I find you warm and engaging from what you have written.
I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you -- that you won't lose your faith if you find yourself and other Christians still here on earth after Pentecost this year, as I am convinced you will.
The Bible is still God's Word and the truth we need to live in this world and to find His will for our lives now and in eternity. But it is possible for us, in our fallen nature, to become preoccupied with our own mistaken ideas about what Scripture means. Truth is always honoring to God, wherever it may be found. During his trial before Pilate, Jesus said, "Everyone who loves truth listens to me." Pilate's rhetorical reply, "What is truth?" didn't really expect an answer, but it is in fact the vital question we must all find in the person and nature of Christ, who is himself the incarnation of Truth.
Once again, please don't take my theological disagreement with your eschatological ideas as condemnation, judgement or persecution. I only want to see your faith continue. And I believe that if you continue to study the Scriptures, you will grow to be a very old and very wise woman here on earth, for though we must always keep watch for His coming, I believe that Christ must reign at the Father's right hand another two years, two centuries, two or even two hundred millenia before all things are put under his feet.
Even if he doesn't rapture the Church on Pentecost this year, he is still King of kings and Lord of lords. All the best of God's blessings to you.
My reply Don't forget that you can also be sadly mistaken.
And don't worry, nothing could ever shake my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ--NOTHING. I know who he is, the Almighty himself.
This year is the Jubilee since Israel was reborn as a nation. It is the 6000th year since man began to be tried as mortal and knowing both good and evil. We have a MARC being intruduced to 20 nations that could very well end up being the Mark of the Beast. We have the Oslo Accords that could easily end up being confirmed in 2001. Babylon has been rebuilt. The Sign of the End of the Age has appeared. How you can think things could go on as they are for much longer is beyond me.
However, you have as much right to your views as I do to mine. If we are right about Christ and ready for the Rapture, we will be fine, no matter if we are wrong about other things.
Incoming Email One question concerning David. In one of the chapters in Ezekial, where it talks about Prince David, it says that he will offer a Sin Offering for himself and for the people (Israel). Could this still refer to David. He has died, and will be ressurected, I assume (not ressusitated). If he is in a ressurected body, would he sin, and hence need to offer a sin offering for himself? Also, you correctly point out that someone, serving under The Lord Jesus Christ, will 'rule with a rod of Iron'. The problem with this being fulfilled by King David, is that he was never a member of the Church. This individual, I would assume, would have to be a Christian, who becomes Prince David. This would also cancel out Moses and Elijah as well. I think, MJ, that you will find that there is going to be one more David, who is probably a Christian now, that stays behind at the Rapture, and is used by God during the tribulation. This person lives through the Tribulation, and enters the Kingdom as a mortal, to rule directly under Jesus. Note also the letter to the Laodaceans, where Jesus says that 'He that overcomes, will sit down on My Throne (The Throne of David), just as I have sat down on My Fathers Throne (In Heaven). Again, this would fit a member of the Church who lives through the Trib, and not a ressurected individual. This would also explain the Sign of the Woman clothed with the Sun, and the Moon at her feet. The Woman in the believing Remenant, the Sun (Father) is Moses, the Moon (Mother) is Elijah, the 12 stars are the 144,000 and the Male Child is Prince David, who is probably a Christian now. That is why the sign is occuring now. If it was refering to Moses and Elijah, than I would guess that they would already be here.
Let me know what you think. I also have another letter to write to you, and I would appreceiate any feedback you could give me on this. Thanks alot MJ, I do appreceiate the chance that I have had to fellowship with you. I can already hear Jesus saying, "Well Done" to you.
My reply I just have to go with Scripture. Jer. 30:9 says, "But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them."
> King David...was never a member of the Church.
That doesn't matter. He believed in the coming of the Messiah.
> He that overcomes, will sit down on My Throne (The Throne of David)
Jesus Christ's throne is in Heaven. While on Earth, he will sit on David's throne. When Christ returns to Heaven, David will sit on his own throne.
> The Woman in the believing Remenant, the Sun (Father) is Moses, the Moon
> (Mother) is Elijah, the 12 stars are the 144,000 and the Male Child is Prince
> David, who is probably a Christian now.
The woman in Rev. 12 is Israel (Gen. 37:9,10). She flees into the wilderness in v. 6. The time is the middle of the Tribulation when Satan is cast down to Earth. He is ready to devour the man child. Since she is now in birth pain, the man child is not Christ. He was born "Before she travailed...before her pain came" (Isa. 66:7). The man child must be the two witnesses that the Satan possessed False Prophet kills in the middle of the Tribulation.
> Moses and Elijah, than I would guess that they would already be here.
Moses and Elijah are the two witnesses of Rev. 11. They prophecy the first 1260 days of the Tribulation.
Incoming Email Your web pages were forwarded to me a new acquaintance on the Net...I was overwhelmed at your knowledge of the Word.
I was born and raised in the Assemblies of God and have a pretty decent background in the Word but you go so much deeper and reveal truths that I have never known. The amount of information cannot be digested in one sitting. I'll have to come back.
I have not actually read any of your books. When Pat Robertson wrote "The End of the Age", I went into Barnes & Noble to review it. I noticed that you had written a book by the same title. I spent some time reviewing it also but did not actually purchase the book and read it. I have trouble reading books in that reading usually makes me fall asleep. But, I've been reading your web pages for the last 4 hours and am not a bit sleepy -- in fact I'm energized and want to start evangelizing.
I noted on one of your pages: "Satan is thrown out of Heaven". Since I have not yet read your books, I have to wonder how he got there. You will no doubt tell me to 'read my book' but that's ok because I will.
Thanks for your wonderful web pages. They will change my prayer life. If the Rapture takes place when you say it will, I have only 3 months to pray our families into the Kingdom. I feel that this could literally be the truth because even in the natural, people feel that 'something' is going to happen. May God's richest blessing be yours.
My reply > "Satan is thrown out of Heaven". Since I have not yet read your books, I
> have to wonder how he got there.
He was allowed there. Job 1:6,7 says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."
Ezek. 28:16-18 says, "thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God...I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth."
Incoming Email I just would like to thank you for your good work you are doing for the Lord. I heave read your new book and I am re-reading it now, that is Rev 2000, very good book.
I was wondering if you have heard from any people who might have seen a vision of the rapture? Because I have had a vision in church not to long ago, about three months ago.
It was a very beautiful thing, the vision lasted seconds. I saw a light above the earth, it was about the quarter the size of the moon. This light was pure white, and moving around this ball of light was like a swarm of pure white lights, a vast number, all small lights, and there were others appearing from earth. I felt part of this, there was a feeling of total peace and love. I never felt like that in my life, it felt as if I was going home, it felt right, one of the feelings which was interesting, was being certain of things, like you knew the total picture, and knowing that a decision was correct beyond any doubt, but this did not come from me, it was from Christ. It is hard to describe, wonderful I think is a good description. After this I had a second vision, and this time I saw the earth, from space. There was a wave moving across the face of our earth. At the point where the wave crossed, the earth changed color. The face of the earth became radiant with different shades of gold, silver, blue almost like sparkling crystal. The earth looked I guess like it was new and pure. I thank God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit for this vision. I look forward to being with our Lord, we can not really describe how it will be like in our human terms, it is beyond our ability, but God does give us glimpses.
My reply Thanks for sharing. Let's hope the little white lights represent the Bride of Christ. Scripture shows us we should keep our lights burning brightly so we will be ready when the Bridegroom comes.
Incoming Email I think that you have done an amazing job researching the bible and figuring out when Christ will come again. I was wondering if you know who the false prophet might be???
There is one thing that always bothered me about the return of Christ. How can the people who have never been exposed to Christianity save themselves. What will happen to these people? After everything is over and done with...Will everyone return back to earth or what will happen. Will everyone live in heaven or will people exist in physical form on the earth once again. Another question is will we return to how we originally existed ( Adam and Eve) not knowing what evil is or will we continue to know right from wrong. Another question bugging me is wether music or any forms of art from this period will remain once jesus returns. I am a music major and it bothers me that classical music might not exist once the Tribulation is done with and God returns.
I dont know if you can help answer any of these questions but I sincerely think that you are right with your prediction. Even if it turns out to be wrong I will not doubt for a second the existence of God and that Jesus is his Son.
If you could help answer any of my questions it would be greatly appreciated.
My reply Thanks for your kind remarks.
> I was wondering if you know who the false prophet might be?
No. He is to be revealed after the Pre-Trib Rapture (II Thess. 2:7).
> How can the people who have never been exposed to Christianity save themselves.
None of us can save ourselves. That is why we need a Saviour, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved than Jesus Christ. Rom. 1:20 says, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
It seems that if one sets his mind to know the true God, God will get the necessary information to him one way or another, even if someone has to speak in tongues to get it to him, or an airplane drops leaflets.
All judgment is given to the Son of God. Rom. 2:12 says, "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law...For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another."
> After everything is over and done with...Will everyone return back to earth or
> what will happen. Will everyone live in heaven or will people exist in physical
> form on the earth once again.
The Jews are promised the Earth forever. The church is promised Heaven. People will exist in normal physical form on Earth at least through the millennial Day of the Lord, but it seems that their life span will be longer than at present.
> Another question is will we return to how we originally existed ( Adam and
> Eve) not knowing what evil is or will we continue to know right from wrong.
We won't lose what we already know (Luke 16:19-31). We will add to what we know. This time of testing is showing us that we do not want to live where evil is allowed to defile. I don't think we will forget this important hard-learned lesson.
> Another question bugging me is wether music or any forms of art from this period will
> remain once jesus returns. I am a music major and it bothers me that classical music
> might not exist once the Tribulation is done with and God returns.
I can't see good music being done away with. I expect music in both Heaven and on Earth. After the Rapture, we will sing the new song. God must love music too. Many of the Psalms were to be sung. Musical instruments are also mentioned in the Old Testament. Think of lyres, psalteries (harps), timbrels, bells, sistrums, cymbals, flutes, cornets, trumpets and drums. Think of King David's 288 trained choir members.
I know that you are really busy, but I really need some insight, and I respect your Wisdom....
I asked Him what the Holy Spirits Personal name was. The still small voice, that we Christians are priviledged to be able to hear, told me, as well as showing me in my mind the word Shalmah... SHALMAH, means ASK WHAT
My reply You are trying to separate God when he cannot be separated.
In the Old Testament, De. 6:4 says, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD (YHVH) our God (Elohim) is one (echad, united) LORD (YHVH)."
We are to baptize in the name (one name) of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
I John 5:7 says, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
Listen to Isa. 44:6,8, "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) the King of Israel, AND his redeemer the LORD (YHVH) of hosts; I am the first, AND I am the last; and beside me there is no God....Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any." There is one God.
Also, Isa. 45:21, "I the LORD (YHVH)? and there is no God else beside me; a just God AND a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself...That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear." This is fulfilled in Jesus Christ (Rom. 14:11). Phil. 2:10,11 says, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
II Cor. 5:19: "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself."
Now look back at Isa. 48:16,17, "Come ye near unto ME, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent ME. Thus saith the LORD (YHVH), thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD (YHVH) thy God."
Thus saith YHVH, the Redeemer (i.e., Jesus Christ), in whom God is. This same Redeemer says, "I am the LORD (YHVH) thy God." This is the preincarnate Christ.
In Isa. 48:16, it said, "now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent ME." If the preincarnate Christ is YHVH, then his Spirit is also YHVH, and the incarnate Christ is YHVH.
God cannot be separated. Jesus said, "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30), "the Father is in me, and I in him" (John 10:38).
Romans 8:9 says, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Christ.
"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him" (John 1:18). Jesus Christ, the express image of God, hath shown him to us. Heb. 1:1-3 says, "GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, AND UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, WHEN HE HAD BY HIMSELF PURGED OUR SINS, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH."
Christ is "the arm of the LORD (YHVH)" (Isa. 53:1). Isa. 52:10 says, "The LORD (YHVH) hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."
In Heaven, we will still see God in the face of Jesus Christ. Rev. 22:3,4 says, "the throne (one throne) of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his (singular) servants shall serve him (singular): And they shall see his face (one face); and his name (one name) shall be in their foreheads."
No wonder Isa. 9:6 says, "his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
No wonder, when we see him at the Rapture, "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow" (Rev. 1:14). This reminds us of Dan. 7:9, "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool."
No wonder Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Rev. 22:13).
No wonder Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty" (Rev. 1:8).
Since the Son is the Almighty, no wonder he is "UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER" (Heb. 1:3).
Phil. 2:5-7 says, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men."
Incoming Email 2 Thessalonians 2:1 (nasv) Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
Is this verse talking about the Rapture or the 2nd coming. It seems to me like it is the Rapture.
2:2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
These versus seem to say the coming in verse 1 is after the AntiChrist has been revealed and even more, than that it is after the abomination.
My reply I agree with you that the first verse refers to the Rapture because it is our gathering together unto him.
The Day of the Lord is the Millennium. It starts on the 2300th day of the Tribulation (Dan. 8:14). It cannot come until after the Rapture takes place, and following that, after the False Prophet is revealed.
The Greek word translated "falling away" in the KJV (and by "apostacy" in the NASV) is "apostasia." It means departing. It was translated that way in older Bibles, such as Beza's translation, the Coverdale Bible, The Great Bible, Tyndale's Bible, etc.
The Holy Spirit will hinder the revealing of the False Prophet until after the Bride of Christ has departed to Heaven. Then the restriction will be removed and the man of sin will be revealed.
