Hi, my name is Christopher and as i was surfing through the desolate web i found your pages which i found of intrest, there are some things that i am not really clear about though, the first is that many Christians say that Jesus Christ is the Lord our GOD, this i cant agree with because i have learned that Jesus is the SON of GOD.How can something be both the SON of GOD and GOD at the same time? The other confusing things are that you have written that we only have a few months left!!!! The thing is that i cant find a date when you wrote these pages so how can i decide which month everything i coming to an end?

I would appreciate a little help in this matter if its no trouble. Myself i believe that the book of revalations has already started, by my calculations it began at the beginning of the 19hundreds, and by 2006/7 the earth is not going to be a nice place, even by todays standards.I belive in GOD but i am not a practicing Christian and i dont practice any religion to be honest, i know that i am already damned and accept it.I cant see the sense in living a life of sin and then at the end trying to make up for all the mistakes of life in the short months or days before death just to try and make things better for onesself, this i think is very selfish. So i accept my fate as a sinner and face the consicuenses (i hope thats spelt right). Thanks for now. Sweden. ps sorry about my spelling

John 6:42 says, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph (no, he was not the son of Joseph, but the Son of God), whose father and mother we know: how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?"

II Cor. 5:18 says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself."

John 20:28 says, "And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."

John 1:1-3,14 says, "IN the beginning was the Word (i.e., Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us."

John 10:30,38 says, "I and my Father are one....the Father is in me, and I in him."

Heb. 1:1-3 says, GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by (lit. in) his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high."

I Cor. 15:47 says, "the second man is the Lord from heaven."

I Cor. 2:7,8 says, "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the LORD OF GLORY."

In John 8:23-29, Jesus said, "I AM FROM ABOVE: ye are of this world; I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins....They understood not that he spake to them of the Father...I am he...And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone."

I think that the Pre-Trib Rapture will be next Pentecost, May 31, 1998. It seems that only the Bride of Christ will be caught up to Heaven at that time for only the wise virgins of Mt. 25 went with the bridegroom when he came for them. Everything will not come to an end at that time though.

> i know that i am already damned and accept it.

Please don't be stubborn. Too much is at risk. You don't have to accept it. While there is life, there is hope. It is easy to be saved. Just accept Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour. John 3:16 is clear. It says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Rom. 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

At that point, every old sin you ever committed will be forgiven. You will stand there a new man, sinless, and be counted as a pure virgin. You can have not only salvation, but a fresh start. It is free, God's gift to you if you only believe in Jesus Christ. Don't miss out because of a false sense of what is fair. It doesn't matter if you think it is fair or not. God wants to give you this gift. All you have to do is accept it. Please pray and tell Christ you believe in him. Don't let Satan hold you back by making you think about what is fair and what isn't. Salvation is F R E E. Reach out and take what is being offered you before it is too late. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Jesus paid a dreadful price for you. He took the death that you deserved because of your sins. Don't cheat him of what he so painfully bought. He bought you with a price, crucifixion. He was resurrected and you will be too. Some will be raised "to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt" (Dan. 12:2). Please choose life. This is eternity you are toying with. Don't turn God down. I would appreciate you letting me know your decision. God bless you

His reply, Re: Thanks

After reading your reply i must admit i was a litte confused, so i read it again and it all seemed to make sense.I accept Jesus and God, as i am writing this a strange feeling of happiness or something is coming over me, cold yet warm, nice.I want to laugh but somehow i also want to cry.I thank you as much as i can for taking the time to write down the passages and answering my letter and if you ever come to Sweden you are more than welcome to visit me...

Ps what a wonderful feeling i am feeling right now

My reply

Hi Christopher:

Now you are living up to your name. I am so happy for you. The feeling you have is because Jesus Christ just baptized you with his Holy Spirit. He has told us that he will never leave us. You have him indwelling you for good. Your prayers will not have to go to Heaven to be heard. He knows your every thought. Now walk humbly with thy God. You are born again into God's family as an adopted son. Your eternal home is with God in Heaven, which is a better place than Earth.

Jesus said, "LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (This you have done.) In my Father's house are many mansions (dwelling places): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (Jn. 14:1-3).

Luke 21:36 says, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Right now, you are sinless, but if you slip and sin, get right with God immediately. Use I John 1:9. If you confess known sins to God, he is faithful and just to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Jesus just might come for us at the Rapture next Pentecost, May 31, 1998, Jerusalem time. Be ready just in case. Here is the scripture that describes what will take place.

I Thess. 4:13-18 says, "I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren (believers), concerning them which are asleep (dead in Christ), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him (only their body is dead; their spirit and soul live). For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (Old English for precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first (they will get their resurrection bodies): Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Scripture says to quench not the Spirit. Evidently, the level of the Holy Spirit in us goes down somewhat when we sin. Then to be filled again, we must confess that sin and get the sin barrier that stands between us and God out of the way. Then we are back in fellowship with our Holy God.

Man's test is to walk by faith. You have passed the test and have reserved your spot in Heaven. Now, you can build on that spot. When we do good deeds while filled with the Holy Spirit, we earn rewards. We lay up treasures in Heaven. They will be awarded us at the Judgment Seat of Christ, which is the first day of the Millennium. I think that will be September 13, 2007.

I'd like to ask a question regarding the rapture. I understand from your web site that the bride of christ the church has to be raptured before the evil one is revealed. Does this mean that the holy spirit would have left the earth due to the believers being raptured?

What about the christians who are not raptured due to not being ready and foolish. Will the holy spirit leave them personally? Confused.

Also another question if there are two christians who are married with children- one partner is ready but the other not-where do the children go? Is the other partener sanctified by the faith of the other beliveing partner (they are both saved but one ready and one not)...

Also i'm confused about what it means to be ready, I really struggle with sin in my life I know God has forgiven me but I'm far from what he would want me to be. Every time I deal with one issue there is another around the corner. I sometimes feel scared that I won't be taken, but i know i need to trust. thank you for your wonderful web site...

I've been really encouraged by your site, God bless you.

My reply

No. I think he just stops restraining the evil one.

> What about the christians who are not raptured due to not being ready and
> foolish. Will the holy spirit leave them personally? Confused.

No. Jesus said he would never leave us. The Spirit of Christ will not leave them.

> Also another question if there are two christians who are married with
> children- one partner is ready but the other not-where do the children go?
> Is the other partener sanctified by the faith of the other beliveing

I Cor. 7:14 says, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." This sounds to me like the children would go with the one worthy of the Rapture. I certainly hope and pray that this is so.

Also, the Rapture is as the days of Noah, and Noah's sons (and all their wives) were with him in the Ark, even though they were of age and nothing is said of their beliefs.

It is hard to know if "and thy house" of Acts 16:31 always applies, but if Noah's family is an indicator, it could be very meaningful.

> Also i'm confused about what it means to be ready,

First, we have to have accepted Christ as our own personal Saviour. At that time, we are forgiven all our old sins and stand before God as pure virgins. After that, when we sin, we need to use I John 1:9, confess all known sins since Salvation so the Lord can cleanse us from all unrighteousness, including unknown sins.

Other than this, follow Peter's advice in II Peter 1:4-11: "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (Holy Spirit), having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue...knowledge...temperance...patience...godliness...brotherly kindness... charity (love). For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind (like the Laodiceans), and cannot see afar off (Heaven), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren (believers), give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance (the Rapture) shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

I am pleased that you like my Web site.

It's funny. As my quest for knowledge and understanding about God moves on, the more questions I find popping up in my head (most of which I don't yet know how to ask). However, I am finding that each answer I come across provides great satisfaction.

The question on which I'm now dwelling doesn't deal directly with your books, but I wanted to seek out your opinion. You've had such a great influence on my life already that I consider you the best "earthly" source to turn to.

I'm intrigued by the books by Neale Donald Walsch "Conversations with God". Are you familiar with them? Through his conversations, he reveals a very 'down to earth' God. This a picture that many people are not often exposed to, especially the great sense of humor that Mr. Walsch credits God with. I find these things very easy to believe. I guess I'm try to somehow tie this side of God's personality in with what we know from scriptures. I did a search on Mr. Walsch's web site for the words 'rapture', 'Jesus', and 'Heaven'. None were found. I'm just curious why these important topics were left out of his conversations. (Perhaps he forgot to ask).

Anyway, that's my rambling for today. I hope you have some thoughts about this.

I'm still working through Revalations 2000. It's great!

Note: Omitted, but he told me things that were in the books that did not agree with Scripture.

Re: "Conversations with God" books Marilyn, Thank you for helping me. I got your reply on Friday and it was like a wake up call.

Before I recieved your message, I had had a difficult day at work. I'm a...and I couldn't concentrate at all. I was sick at heart trying to know the truth, and I prayed earnestly at work for God to reveal the truth to me. Your message gave me what I needed to look into my own heart where I already knew the truth. I had an hour drive to...and in that hour I felt so stupid, and gullible. I felt great guilt and remorse for letting myself be drawn into something like that. During the drive God allowed me to realize the falsehoods contained in those books. I couldn't believe that I had forgotten so many of the things I had already learned about the Lord and so readily fell into Satan's trap. He must have known of my desire for knowledge about God and thought this book would steer me of the path.

You are so right. Those books contain so many things that sound so good and so right, but underneath there are lies so great I still don't understand how I missed them the first time. God has shown me the way though, and I know that I have passed this test. Thank you so much for your help. Just as God brought me to your books 2 years ago, I believe he led me to seek your help again.

I trashed the books today when I got home. I don't feel the conflict within me anymore either.

I find myself concerned about all the others who have read that stuff and been affected by it, and the author. When such good comes out of a work like that, the evil is very difficult to see. They don't have much time to get back do they? Take Care. You have my thanks.

My reply

I thank the Lord that you now understand how Satanic forces work to try to fool us. They would love to get us all listening to music that is so loud that we can't think and reading deceiving books that try to convince us that we shouldn't use our brains. Meanwhile, the days are passing us by, and we are running short of time to get right with God.

I hope others can profit by your experience and wake up too. Thank you for letting us know how it came out. Now, you will be blessed for withstanding the test.

I've been studying the y2k millenium bug for over a year...and I am distressed about all the chaos it will cause. I am sure it is what will cause us to welcome a one world gov't and currency. I asked the Lord tp please reveal to me his plans for the Church....i.e. rapture timing, etc. in relation to this computer snafu... for at best we have only 18 months of "normal" left. ( I certainly would not look forward to life "on the other side" of 2000)

I found your web site....I scoffed...I read...I scoffed less...I read...I asked the Lord to help me test your insight...I have been re-reading the Bible, especially end-time verses....Well, your scenario sure clears up alot of my confusion and frustration. I would read and decide one thing; read and decide another. I started to doubt a rapture at all. Now--as I read these verses, it is finally making sense. And The Lord is confirming to me what you are saying. I am still reluctant to dwell on a date, although your date makes sense and God does do things with incredible precision.

Blessings on you and your family.

Please see attachment if you can regarding our common fondness of Col. R.B. Thieme. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Well--now I know why your writings have such a wonderful, familiar tone. I was reading some Pros and Cons last night and I read that you studied under "the Colonel", R. B. Thieme, Jr. I see his influence. He lead me to the Lord at 14 (30 years ago) and gave me a foundation that has given me strength all these years--he was also very influential in Hal Lindsey's life (His book "Saving Grace" is replete with Bob Thieme overtones.)

My mother and sister and many friends still go to Berachah. I "moved on" although I respect him very much. In fact, I used an extensive quote in my book from one of his works (with permission.)

Anyway, we both have a foundation in Basic Doctrine that has obviously borne fruit--especially in your case....

One more question--what if you are a really great Christian, love the Lord, but just happen not to be in fellowship at "the momment???" Yuck, does that mean you don't get in on the first cut?

REBOUND, REBOUND, REBOUND!!!

...TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

My reply

I doubt that I would have gotten as far as I have if I hadn't studied with Bob Thieme early on. Not only for basic doctrine, but for the correct designation of the ages. He is the only one I know of who saw the light on that. I kept his names, Age of the Gentiles, Age of the Jews, Age of the Church. They make perfect sense.

When I first began hearing Hal Lindsey, I could hear Bob Thieme coming out of his mouth.

> I asked the Lord to help me test your insight...I have been
> re-reading the Bible,especially end-time verses

How I wish I could hear this from everyone out there. This is exactly what we should do.

> One more question--what if you are a really great Christian, love the
> Lord, but just happen not to be in fellowship at "the momment???" Yuck,
> does that mean you don't get in on the first cut?

> > REBOUND, REBOUND, REBOUND!!!

You answered your own question as to what we should do. However, we are not told how much of the oil of the Holy Spirit we must have. The Lord is the judge. The only safe thing is to be filled, as Scripture tells us.

I find your work very interesting. Although I am no scholar, I would be interested in your thoughts on the following:

Rev.13.18 " This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six."

1998 divided by 3 =666, chinese year of the tiger
1999 divided by 3 =666.333, year of the rabbit
2000 divided by 3 =666.666, year of the dragon

Thank you for your time. Humbly yours

My reply

I think the wicked one will be allowed to come on the world scene right after the Rapture. The Holy Spirit holds him back until that time (II Thess. 2:6,7). Thus, the 666 + 666 + 666 = 1998 makes sense. The year of the dragon doesn't seem to tie in. I think the False Prophet will be indwelt by Satan when he and his angels are cast out of Heaven in 2004.

Have enjoyed your web site immensely. If the rapture doesn't happen when you expect, I will have had a lot of happy and exciting moments thinking about it.

Jesus ascended to Heaven, and ten days later, the Holy Spirit came.

Do you have any thoughts about Jesus leaving His believers for ten days before sending the comforter. One person on a Christian forum pointed out that a lot could happen in ten days to His believers being alone with out the Holy Spirit.

My reply

I think these ten days and those in Rev. 2:10 represent ten years between the two Raptures, from the Jewish 5758 to 5768.

Jesus ascended to Heaven and his Holy Spirit returned on Pentecost Sunday. I think next Pentecost just may be the first Rapture. I expect the second one on the Feast of Trumpets that begins the Millennium.

I really don't think the Holy Spirit will be totally removed. Jesus said, "I will never leave you." The Spirit of Christ's restraining influence on the wicked one will be removed at the time of the Rapture.
