Solar Eclipse: "Madagascar Totality"
"Taken as totality began, this image of the last bright rays of sunlight shinning through dips and valleys in irregular lunar terrain gives the illusion of a glittering jewel set in a pink celestial ring."
Re: time and date.com:
http://timeanddate.com/calendar/index.html?year=30&country=11 The Thursday, April 6, 30 AD date is confirmed in both Gregorian and Julian Calenders. I think this was the day of the Crucifixion and that the Second Advent will be on Sunday, April 6, 2008.
The Computer Emergency Response Team at Carnegie Mellon University said the virus spreads rapidly. It infected more than 250,000 computers in nine hours on July 19.
"Because the worm propagates very quickly, it is likely that nearly all vulnerable systems will be compromised by Aug. 2, 2001," the CERT said....
The virus, or worm, automatically scans computers over Internet lines for a particular software vulnerability that would allow it to take up residence. That scanning threatens to overwhelm Internet lines.
Note: I went to Microsoft and DL a fix to close some boxes they had left open. Their computer scanned mine to taylor the fix to what I actually needed. Nice.
Iraq military units have been infiltrating neighboring Jordan for the past 10 days, according to the report. Their mission, say DEBKA sources, is to reach the Israeli border, cross the Jordan River and move into the main Palestinian cities of the West Bank – Ramallah, Jenin, Nablus and Bethlehem – and fight alongside the Palestinians....
The incursion was detected by Israeli reconnaissance planes and the Ofek 3 and 5 spy satellites....
DEBKA's sources in Amman and Jerusalem report that both Israel and Jordan view the Iraqi military operation as an act of war against them. While maintaining official silence, certainly on the Iraqi invasion of Jordan, both countries consider themselves in a state of war with Iraq....
But what is true, is the Iraqi’s have moved troops up near the Jordan Border (again) and the Syrian Border and some reliable sources say, even in the Beka Valley in Lebanon. There is no doubt that Iraq wants to start this war. Right now they are very busy with the United States and the British air attacks in the no-fly zones. And if you look at the northern no fly zone takes care of most of the Syrian – Iraqi border, but the Jordan border is open for them.
(Is this had been an Israeli incursion into a neighboring Arab nation it would have been screaming front-page headlines.)
Note: It is strange that no national media seems to have carried this story. At this point, I think, "Maybe it's true, and maybe it isn't true. We'll see."
It appears now that the two Iraqis were possibly a decoy or a test to see how far they could get into Jordan before being apprehended. Or to see if the Jordanians would arrest them or not. And that there were between 1,000 and 2,000 Iraqi Commandos just inside the Jordan border, with another group of over 10,000 not far behind them and very close to the Jordan border as well.
King Abdullah is between a rock and hard place, he don't want to be run over by Saddam Hussein, and have his country taken over by Saddam, but he does not want to appear to be a traitor to the Islamic Arab world either. My guess is he will play ball and join the attack on Israel knowing it could well be the total destruction for his Kingdom....

This Sir Cam virus is in the attachment. Just don't open it. Delete it. I'm just not going to open attachments at all. People can send a URL, Mail a web page, or Copy and Paste into the email document without endangering my computer. I DL the free AVG Anti-virus program too:
It checked for the latest data then spent 6 minutes 2 different times examining everything on my computer--no virus.
(Up through yesterday,) I have received 6, 2 PRETTY PARKS and 4 Sir Cam. I am just thanking the Lord that he helped me recognize what it was so I could Delete it, Empty the Deleted Items Folder, and compact my folders twice to erase all traces of where it had been (click File, Folders, Compact Folders). I watch how long it takes for mail to come in. If I'm getting 6 e-mails and #1 is taking a long time and the others rip right in fast, I am suspicious of #1 before I ever see it. One Sir Cam took 22 minutes to come in. Another took 5 minutes. The reason it varies is because it sends a file at random from an infected machine's My Document Folder. Ordinary e-mail usually does not take that long. A virus is an executable program, so it takes quite awhile to come in. I changed the name on My Documents folder too, for good measure. Agape
Note: The virus stores itself in the Microsoft Windows Recycle Bin, where most virus scanners don't scan for viruses. I just checked mine, and it is empty.
I DL the Free AVG Anti Virus program last night, installed it this morning and checked for new data, then checked all files on my PC--no virus. It will DL new data monthly automatically. My McAfee was not up to date, and it didn't catch these viruses. I did. It didn't catch PRETTY PARKS earlier, either. I did. And that one sent another virus the next day purporting to cure the PRETTY PARKS virus. Someone thought that if they didn't catch you with the first one, they might with the 2nd. I deleted them both, thank the Lord.
To erase all traces of a virus ever being in Outlook Express: click File, then Folders then Compact all folders, and do it twice. I'm thankful that someone nice emailed me and told me how to do that awhile back. At that time, I went to Microsoft and DL a fix that closed some holes they had left open. All it did was uncheck some boxes, but that helps. Agape
"This is the Jewish year 5761 or CE 2000-2001. On Rosh Hashanah, September 27-28, the present Amalek crisis began. That very date is the beginning of the Shmittah (Sabbatical) year. This is the seventh Shmittah (Sabbatical) year since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948." (By Amalek crisis, he means Intifada, or uprising of the sons of Amalek.)
His words that the present year 2001 is the "seventh Sabbatical year" since Israel was born caught my eye. I called Jones and asked him how he came up with that. He said, "I didn't. The rabbis did." He explained that they do not count from 1948 but that they continuously count from the time of Joshua and the first Sabbatical year (Leviticus 25:1-7). He said that according to the rabbis, 1952 was the first Sabbatical year after 1948, and 2001 is the seventh.
My thought immediately raced to the understanding of Sir Isaac Newton. As I have previously written, Newton, who lived 300 years ago (1642-1727), was one of the greatest geniuses in all history -- perhaps the greatest. He is called the father of modern science and the industrial revolution. He discovered many scientific laws. God chose Isaac Newton to impart many of His deepest secrets.
Newton is also said to be a devout believer in Christ and Bible scholar, fluent in ancient languages, and who translated directly from the Hebrew. He was unusually drawn to the prophet Daniel, which he began studying at age 12 and continued until he died at age 85. In fact, The Columbia History of the World, a secular history book, remarks, "At the end of his days he spent more time studying and writing about the prophecies in the Book of Daniel than he did in charting the heavens." Did God Himself put in Newton's heart this burning desire to study Daniel, then give him the key to the timing of Christ's return? Could this be the final profound secret the Lord revealed to this godly genius near the end of his life -- a secret "accidentally" discovered in the Library of Congress and republished just in the last decade -- a secret so simple that most have missed it?
I am referring to Newton's understanding of Daniel 9:25: "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be SEVEN weeks, and THREESCORE AND TWO weeks."
Newton believed the above verse contains the timing (but not necessarily "the day or hour") of BOTH the first and second coming of the Lord. Most conservative scholars acknowledge that the verse pinpointed the year of the Lord's first coming, by adding the seven weeks (49 years) and 62 weeks (434 years) to get 483 years, which they count to His passion week.
But Newton believed that the 62 weeks (434 years) separately applied to His first coming (His birth, and using different dating for the decree) and the seven weeks (or 49 years) to His second coming, both being counted, as it says, "from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem."
Using this idea, some thought the modern 49-year count began when the U.N. made a resolution to give the Holy Land back to the Jews on November 29, 1947, ending in 1996; others when Israel was established on May 14, 1948, ending in 1997; or others when Israel declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel on January 23, 1950, ending in 1999; or by one count, the end of Jewish year 5760 on September 30, 2000
However, a recheck of Newton's book on the prophecies of Daniel reveals that he was speaking specifically of SEVEN SABBATICAL YEARS, not just 7 X 7 = 49 years, from "from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem."
If Vendyl Jones and the rabbis are correct, whether starting the count in 1947, 1948 or 1950, IN ALL CASES the first Sabbatical year following would be 1952 and the SEVENTH would be 2001!
And if true, Sir Isaac Newton would say that THIS IS THE YEAR TO WHICH DANIEL 9:25 POINTED! Of course, even if true, we do not know whether it will be during or after the seventh Sabbatical year. In either case, it is a small window, indeed.
This comes in the same year that Israeli rabbis reportedly declared this "the time of Jacob's trouble," and the Middle East on the precipice of war which will affect the whole world.
These are truly amazing times. Let us rejoice at the soon-coming King, the Prince of Peace, who only can bring peace, and let us be ready to meet Him. Jim
I haven't read Newton, but a mirror image or double reference could apply. Someone figured out that it was 40 years plus another 120 days from when Jesus was refused as king on day # 1 to Av 10, when the temple proper burned. That seems to apply to our days too. From when Israel regained the temple area on June 7, 1967 (Iyar 28) to Sept. 13, 2007 (Tishri 1, 5768) is 40 years plus another 120 days. Sept. 13, 2007 is the 14th year (7 good and 7 bad years) since the Oslo accords were signed. It is also Tishri 1, 5768, 14 years after the Oslo Accords were ratified in Israel 3 days after they were signed.
Martin Anstey found an eighty-two year mistake in the era of the Persian Kings. BC 536 - 82 = BC 454. 483 yrs (Dan. 9:25) - BC 454 + 1 (no zero year) = 30 AD (Jewish 3790), the Crucifixion. 3790 was not a Sabbatic Year, but 3787 (27 AD), the 1st Passover of Jesus' ministry, was a Sabbatic Year. Even Jesus' birth in BC 5 was not a Sabbatic Year. It seems that the 70 weeks (shabua) were not necessarily Sabbatic Years in their first fulfillment (of 69). That doesn't mean that they couldn't be in a second fulfillment though, but we do need to consider how Dan. 9:25 was fulfilled the first and primary time. We are getting close, however we figure it. Since the Rapture is as the days of Noah, consider this. Gen. 7:11 says, "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life (suggests 6000 years), in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month (i.e., Cheshvan 17, Nov. 3, 2001), the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." The DOOR of the Ark was open, then "the LORD shut him in." The Philadelphians have the "open door" set before them (Rev. 3:8).
The Day of Atonement was Oct. 6 in 1973. In looking through my book on Israel, I saw my note, "US entered WW I on APRIL 6, 1917. I think the Crucifixion and Second Advent are on Apr. 6. In the Modern Parallels, 5278, when Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the church door, + 400 years is 5678 (1917/1918). 5678 + 90 = 5768 (2007/2008). I think Christ will return Apr. 6, 2008. Rom. 9:9 says, "this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son." Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born. 2008 - 7 = 2001. 5768 - 7 = 5761, which ends Sept. 18, 2001. Of course, the 7 years get shortened, but surely we are very close to the Rapture. Agape
I was taught the following:
1 Cor. 15:1-7 Paul preached only one gospel and what he preached is found here. This is the only one for this time.
Matthew 3: 1-2, Luke 1:32-33, Matthew 24:14 Gospel of the Kingdom preached by John the Baptist, Jesus and the disciples. It will be preached again by the 144,000.
Rev. 14:6 - 7 Everlasting Gospel preached to ever one on earth by the angels during tribulation just before judgement.
Rom. 10:9,10 goes with this. It says, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Agape
Also, I'm wondering what is the first event in your chronology that would definately be noticed and reported. In other words what is the first date when if something fails to happen we can conclude that the entire chronology must be wrong. Would that be the November 7, 2004 date? I hope you will admit that your dates are wrong before then, but if not then surely when that date comes and goes uneventfully then you will have to admit that you were wrong.
By the way, I am a Christian and I believe the Bible and believe that Jesus is coming back soon. For a while back in 1997 I thought your dates might be right, but I think it has become clear that they aren't. But I would like to read/hear your explanation of how they could still be right. Shalom
BTW, Ed (my husband, 76 years old and having had open heart surgery) was sent home from Rehab yesterday without exercising. He is holding too much water, has gained too much weight, and has had too high blood pressure this week. He doesn't feel very good to boot. He came home and took a Lasix tablet to get some of the water out of him. I made a doctor's appointment yesterday for us both next week. I am 72, with high blood pressure that is more resistant than Ed's. I take twice Ed's dosage to control mine. My lower legs and feet are swollen, I think partly because I sit at the computer such long hours. We both just came off clinical trials for a blood pressure medicine and are both holding too much water on the prescription given us at the end of the trials. Actually, it isn't the one they wanted to give us, but because SCAN HMO would not ok that one, they substituted another that SCAN would cover. I'll be glad when we get back on what we were taking before.
I haven't had time to update old files. To see when I posted a file, refer to the bottom of the page. At some stage, I also started putting the date up top on Pro and Cons. Since the Rapture did not come last Pentecost, I don't think Moses and Elijah are here yet. If the Rapture has not taken place before that, I'll be watching Dec. 19. That is 2300 days before Apr. 6, 2008, when I think the Second Advent will be. I still think the Day of God's Wrath will be Sept. 13, 2007. There are the 7 months (because 5768 is a leap year) between Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007) and Nisan 1, 5768 (Apr. 6, 2008). There are 7 good years and 7 bad years between Sept. 13, 1993, when the Oslo Accords were signed, and Sept. 13, 2007. There are also 14 years between when the Oslo Accords were ratified 3 days later in Israel on Tishri 1, 5754 and Tishri 1, 5768.
Also, there are 40 years plus another 120 days from June 7, 1967 (when Israel regained the temple area) and Tishri 1, 5768. This is similar to the 40 years plus another 120 days from when Jesus arrived in Bethany the day before Palm Sunday to the burning of the temple proper on Av 10 in 70 AD. In Mt. 23:36, Jesus told the Pharisees that "All these things shall come upon this generation." They did, in 70 AD, showing us how long a generation is.
On Pro and Con 781, INCOMING EMAIL said, "Rapture this fall, and Confirming of Covenant on last day of Hanakuh (dec 17) of this year. 2300 day countdown begins and ends exactly on Nisan 1 2008. Mid point of trib occurs in 2004.
I quoted him in the 1st line below and answered him in the second line:
"> > Mid point of trib occurs in 2004.
"If the Tribulation starts Dec. 19, 2001, the Calculator indicates that Mid Trib would be 6/1/2005."
I no longer think Mid Trib will be in 2004. Agape
Note: They do not have permission to actually place it on the temple mount.
I'm really enjoying the signs in the heavens. Your web site is wonderful. The beloved nation of Israel, and the United States will need to make a decision soon .I believe that regional war is very near in the Middle East. Iraq's war machine is on the move, and guess where they're headed? As I'm writing this Israel and the United States are meeting on what to do about this situation. You have been warning people to get right with the Lord of Israel, the time to repent is getting shorter.
Right now, I am not sure Iraq's soldiers are in Jordan. Maybe so, maybe not. Either way, we have been warned. In Mt. 24:6, Jesus said, "ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." He spoke of "the end" again in v. 14. The very next verse mentions the "abomination of desolation." This makes me think that this end is the Great Tribulation, and Jesus mentioned "great tribulation" in v. 21.
If the news is right, expect lightning attacks upon the invading forces. Keep checking the news sites for developments. Things seem to be coming to a head.
