WASHINGTON - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon plans to present a new Israeli peace plan to U.S. President George W. Bush at their meeting in Washington next week. The plan is apparently based on the principal of a long-term interim agreement with the Palestinians, together with a regional conference as the vehicle for implementing this agreement.

Fw: Pope Kisses Koran.htm
what is wrong with this guy? He is/will be sheltering 2 sex abusers/enablers, an international banking gangster (BCCI 20 years ago), and now this???

Pope Kisses Koran

distinguished Church source of Report:
6-4-99 - No 4151 - NE 312

Here is a photo of the pope at the end of an audience with Patriarch Raphael I of Iraq, where the pope "bowed" to the Muslim holy book, The Koran, presented to him by the delegation.

Did the pope, who in fact is the supposed "infallible" voice of the Roman Catholic Church not remember what The Koran has to say about Jesus and the nature of God? Does he not know how The Koran demotes Jesus the Messiah to "only a messenger of Allah" status?

"O people of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit [sic.] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers and say not 'Three' - Cease! (it is better for you! - Allah is only one God. Far is it removed from His transcendent majesty that He should have a son...The Messiah will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah."

Of Jesus Christ The Koran also states:
"And when the son of Mary is quoted as an example, behold! The folk laugh out, and say: Are our gods better, or is he? They raise not the objection save for argument. Nay! but they are a contentious folk. He is nothing but a slave on whom we bestowed favor, and we made him a pattern for the Children of Israel. And had we willed it we would have set among you angels to be viceroys in the earth".

Regarding Christ's death on the Cross, The Koran says:
"That they rejected Faith; That they uttered against Mary a grave false charge; That they said (in boast): We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah. But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. ... And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be a witness against them (Christians)." (Koran, 4:156-159)

The Koran even has Jesus Himself saying:
"Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One."

The above picture is simply further evidence, along with the his receiving the mark of Shiva, organizing "prayer meetings" with occult religious leaders, and allowing the worship of a false god on the altar of the Roman Catholic Church at Assisi, of his interfaith agenda.

This is the man who was picked as "the Man of the Century" by various religious leaders who signed the Evangelicals and Catholics Together document (that claims that Evangelicals and Catholics are preaching the same gospel).

...Islam has historically been a bloody religion. This is partly due to the strong influence of violent secret societies in Islamic culture and the wide acceptance of peripheral religious writings that promise a better place in paradise including a harem of 72 virgins for those men who die while taking the lives of "unbelievers." It is also due to Islam's holiest book, The Koran, which is militant in its views toward Christians and Jews.

Consider the following quotes taken directly from The Koran:

p. 2 of introduction (Islamic view of Jews & Christians) "The Koran accuses the Jews of corrupting the Scriptures and the Christians of worshipping Jesus as the son of God, although He had expressly commanded them to worship none but Him."

Surah 5:51 (No friendship with Jews or Christians)"Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number. God does not guide the wrongdoers."

Surah 9:73 (Make war on unbelievers) "Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate."

Surah 9:5 (Slay the idolators/unbelievers) "When the sacred months are over slay the idolators wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them."

Surah 5:33-34 (Enemies should be slain or crucified) "Those that make war against God (Allah) and His apostle (Muhammad) and spread disorder in the land shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land."

Surah 47:3-6 (Behead the enemy) "This, because the unbelievers follow falsehood, while the faithful follow the truth from their Lord. Thus God lays down for mankind their rules of conduct. When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. Then grant them their freedom or take a ransom from them, until War shall lay down her burdens. Thus shall you do. Had God willed, He could Himself have punished them; [but He has ordained it thus] that He may test you, the one by the other."

Surah 4:99 (Special reward for aggressive martyrs) "He that leaves his home in the cause of God shall find many a refuge in the land and great abundance. He that leaves his dwelling to fight for God and His apostle and is then overtaken by death shall be recompensed by God. Surely God is forgiving and merciful."...

Thanks for this information. This Pope has done some strange things. It adds up to me that he wants to head up the United Religions.

Temple Mount Faithful march on Ascension Day

See below report from Gershon Salomon and the Temple Mount Faithful in Jerusalem. Note that they are doing this on Ascension Day, May 9, the day Christ ascended, of which they may be totally unaware, even as most of the Protestant church is unaware of Ascension Day. May 10 is actually Jerusalem Day, which commemorates the capture of Jerusalem in 1967 (but it begins the evening of May 9).

Here is a transcript of the original recording of the Israeli Defense Forces entering the Old City of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall during the Six Day War in June, 1967: "The Temple Mount is in our hands, the Temple Mount is in our hands. All forces cease firing! The time is 10:20, the 7th of June."

The Commemoration Day for the Liberation of Jerusalem The Temple Mount Faithful will March from Ammunition Hill to the Temple Mount on 9th May, 2002...

This is an excellent article and brings much needed information to those who are being deceived in these last days. It is interesting to read of the sign in the sky he witnessed on Sept. 10th. The Lord is showing us the way!!! Bless His Holy Name. Looking forward to meeting you and your hubby soon. God bless you both as well as all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Maranatha, ysic

Last Trumpet Newsletter - by David J. Meyer - May, 2002
Our Lord Jesus told us that when we see these things begin to come to pass that we should look up and lift up our heads for our redemption draweth nigh. We find these words in Luke 21:28. We are also told that there will be signs to watch for. In Luke 21:25 we read, "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring." This verse has captivated my attention recently, as I have been looking up and studying, watching, and praying. I will never forget the storm of blood-red dust that I saw through my telescope as I was looking at the planet Mars the night before the towers were hit. A women's prayer meeting was going on in the church, and I was outside for a while as I have been an astronomer since I was eight years old. I watched in amazement as clouds of swirling blood-red dust caused the planet to pulsate. It was a Monday night, September 10, 2001. I remember going into the church where the women were praying, and I told them that the Lord showed me a sign in the heavens. Mars was festering with activity, and I told the women that something was about to happen. The next morning came the sad shock of the planes hitting the towers.

We now see a new development, and it is truly amazing. A very rare, if not unprecedented, event is now forming in the heavens. I will do my best to describe it because it is doubtless a sign from the Almighty. Our earth is tilted at an angle of twenty-three and one-half degrees. Because of this, all planets, the sun, and the moon follow a certain path as they move from east to west. This path is called the "ecliptic." The ancient Romans and Greeks called it "the path of the gods." The sun, moon, and other eight planets move at varying speeds, so generally only a few are visible in the sky at any given time. However, at the end of this month of April and for the first half of May, the planets will begin to line up like a celestial traffic jam. Dr. Philip Sadler, Director of the Science Education Department at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, had this to say: "The world hasn't seen anything like the planetary traffic jam that is going to occur the last week of April and the first two weeks in May! Inching across the sky like bumper to bumper commuters on their way to work, a rare planetary alignment will allow sky observers to see every planet in our solar system in a single evening." (26) As these planets move along this line they form what are called "conjunctions." I counted them, and according to the Old Farmers Almanac, there will be exactly 11 conjunctions in the month of May. We must also note that May 1, or Beltaine as the witches call it, is the Druid New Year and a high cross-quarter sabat.

Dr. Sadler also reported two more facts that are both stunning and amazing. Here are his exact words. "Even more amazing, two very special events will occur during this planetary line-up. On May 10, the planets Mars and Venus will appear to pass so close to one another that, to the naked eye, the Roman god of War and the Roman goddess of love will become one. Needless to say, the witches will be going berserk with their spells and love potions during this time, and it will stir up a lot of spirits, who will attempt to cause perversion and a sexual revolution as has never been seen before. We must pray! Dr. Sadler also reported the following, which should stir us greatly: "Earlier, on May 5, something even more spectacular will happen. The bright planets Mars, Saturn and Venus will group together to form a perfect equilateral triangle in the western sky. This dazzling configuration will be visible almost everywhere on Earth. In the Middle East, this pyramid-shaped specter will hang directly above Bethlehem." (27) Dr. Sadler also explained that the last time this happened was 2,000 years ago! This is without question a great sign in the sun, moon and stars and the very thing that Jesus told us to watch for. Our Saviour is soon to come with His fiery and righteous judgement....

Re: Crucifixion, ** Low Priority **
Please take the time to examine the link I have provided regarding the resurrection story as presented by the gospels. I can't imagine anyone who examines this chart will remain faithful to the myth being perpetuated. I'm wanting to see if you are an intellectually honest person. If you read this chart and choose to ignore what you find, then there cannot be any hint of honesty in you. But if you read this chart and find what is written to be true to the New Testament, then my question is, "What are you going to do with this truth? Are you going to ignore it?"

My reply

I'm sorry that many things in Scripture are "foolishness" to you. Anyone has to be baptized with the Holy Spirit to be enabled to understand. You have to accept Yeshua as your Messiah to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Until then, you are a "natural man," and 1Co 2:14 says, "the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are FOOLISHNESS unto him: neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED."

Rom 8:9 (CJB) says, "you do not identify with your old nature but with the Spirit -- provided the SPIRIT OF GOD is living inside you, for anyone who doesn't have the SPIRIT OF THE MESSIAH doesn't belong to him."

The Bible is written so that only "the wise will understand." Dan. 12:10 (Stone) says, "none of the wicked will understand; but the wise will understand."

God placed parts of the puzzle in separate accounts on purpose. This is why there are four gospel accounts. It is why Daniel and The Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah have to be studied together. The Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah furnishes the outline that the Tanach prophecies need to be fitted into to get the sequence of events right. The various parts of the puzzle have to be put together with the help of the indwelling "SPIRIT OF THE MESSIAH" to be understood correctly. One without the indwelling SPIRIT OF THE MESSIAH can't see but bits and pieces of the puzzle. He can't see how the various pieces fit together in the larger picture. The scattered prophecies of the Tanach lack the outline that The Revelation of Yeshua reveals. The Revelation of Yeshua needs the information in Daniel 9:24f to be fully understood. Both work together. Without both, it is like a one-eyed person trying to figure out spatial distance.

Why is Scripture written this way?

Isa 28:9-13 (Stone) explains, "To whom shall one teach knowledge? To whom shall one explain a message? [To] those weaned from [mother's] milk, removed from the breasts? For it is commandment by commandment, commandment by commandment; line by line, line by line; A BIT HERE AND A BIT THERE. For as if with unintelligible speech and in another tongue does one speak to this nation. Though he tells them, 'This is the [true] rest, "Give rest to the weary"; and this is the [true] satisfaction!' yet they would not consent to listen. The word of HASHEM shall befall them commandment by commandment, commandment by commandment; line by line, line by line; A BIT HERE AND A BIT THERE; so that they will go and stumble backward and be broken, and be tripped up and caught."

Here is an example of how one necessary fact is found in only one account. Without that fact, a breath-taking miracle is obscured, and the other accounts are by themselves incomplete.

In Mt. 14:13 (CJB), "Yeshua left in a boat to be by himself in the wilderness." The KJV has "he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart." Evidently, it was on the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee. In Mt. 14:21-33 (CJB), after Yeshua fed over 5000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish, "Immediately, he had the talmidim get in the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the crowds away. After he had sent the crowds away, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night came on, and he was there alone. But by this time, THE BOAT WAS SEVERAL MILES FROM SHORE (KJV: 'in the midst of the sea'), battling a rough sea and a headwind. Around four o'clock in the morning, he came toward them, walking on the lake! When the talmidim saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost!" they said and screamed with fear. But at once Yeshua spoke to them. "Courage," he said, "it is I. Stop being afraid. Then Kefa called to him, "Lord, if it is really you, tell me to come to you on the water." "Come!" he said. So Kefa got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Yeshua. But when he saw the wind, he became afraid; and as he began to sink, he yelled, "Lord! Save me!" Yeshua immediately stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, "Such little trust! Why did you doubt?" As they went up into the boat, the wind ceased. The men in the boat fell down before him and exclaimed, "You really are God's son!" HAVING MADE THE CROSSING, THEY LANDED at Ginosar."

In Mark 6:32 (KJV), "they departed into a desert place by ship privately. In the CJB, "They went off by themselves to an isolated spot." It was in a ship for v. 34 says, "When Yeshua came ashore." Then, in Mark 6:45-56 (CJB), we read, "Immediately Yeshua had his talmidim get in the boat and go on ahead of him toward the other side of the lake, toward Beit-Tzaidah, while he sent the crowds away. After he had left them, he went into the hills to pray. When night came, the boat was out on the lake, and he was by himself on land. He saw that they were having difficulty rowing, because the wind was against them; so at around four o'clock in the morning he came toward them, walking on the lake! He meant to come alongside them; but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought it was a ghost and let out a shriek; for they had all seen him and were terrified. However, he spoke to them. "Courage," he said, "it is I. Stop being afraid!" He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. They were completely astounded, for they did not understand about the loaves (i.e., multiplying to feed about 5000 people); on the contrary, their hearts had been made stone-like. AFTER THEY HAD MADE THE CROSSING, THEY LANDED at Ginosar."

In John 6:1 (CJB), "Yeshua went over to the far side (i.e., east side) of Lake Kinneret (that is, Lake Tiberias." I call it the Lake of Galilee. Then John 6:14-21 (CJB) says, "When the people saw the miracle (multiplying the loaves and fishes) he had performed, they said, "This has to be the prophet who is supposed to come into the world." Yeshua knew that they were on the point of coming and seizing him, in order to make him king; so he went back to the hills again. This time he went by himself. When evening came, his talmidim went down to the lake, got into a boat and set out across the lake toward K'far-Nachum. By now it was dark, Yeshua had not yet joined them, and the sea was getting rough, because a strong wind was blowing. THEY HAD ROWED THREE OR FOUR MILES when they saw Yeshua approaching the boat, walking on the lake! They were terrified: but he said to them, "Stop being afraid, it is I." Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and INSTANTLY THE BOAT REACHED THE LAND THEY WERE HEADING FOR."

The lake is 7.5 or 8 miles wide. They were in the middle part of the lake, at least 3 or 4 miles from any land, when "INSTANTLY THE BOAT REACHED THE LAND THEY WERE HEADING FOR."

Only God could pull that one off. Agape

I can't even begin to tell you the blessings of your web page. I like so many others, check your page often for new updates - and then read with blessed anticipation.

I recently took a job in a Jewish facility and have been so blessed by asking questions of their culture and religion. I went to a Jewish web page to study about the mezuzah and read about the Jewish symbol of life...Chai... (below). Interesting that the numeric value of 18 is assigned to life. May 18, 2002 would certainly be a wonderful symbol of life! Blessings dear sister in Christ!

This symbol, commonly seen on necklaces and other jewelry and ornaments, is simply the Hebrew word Chai (living), with the two Hebrew letters Chet and Yod attached to each other. Some say it refers to the Living G-d. Judaism as a religion is very focused on life, and the word chai has great significance. The typical Jewish toast is l'chayim (to life). Gifts to charity are routinely given in multiples of 18 (the numeric value of the word Chai).

My reply

Thanks for your kind words. What is "mezuzah"? Agape

Her reply

On the doorposts of traditional Jewish homes (and many not-so-traditional homes!), you will find a small case like the one pictured at left. This case is commonly known as a mezuzah (Heb.: doorpost), because it is placed upon the doorposts of the house. The mezuzah is not, as some suppose, a good-luck charm, nor does it have any connection with the lamb's blood placed on the doorposts in Egypt. Rather, it is a constant reminder of G-d's presence and G-d's commandments. The commandment to place mezuzot on the doorposts of our houses is derived from Deut. 6:4-9, a passage commonly known as the Shema (Hear, from the first word of the passage). In that passage, G-d commands us to keep His words constantly in our minds and in our hearts, by (among other things) writing them on the doorposts of our house. The words of the Shema are written on a tiny scroll of parchment, along with the words of a companion passage, Deut. 11:13-21. On the back of the scroll, a name of G-d is written. The scroll is then rolled up placed in the case, so that the first letter of the Name (the letter Shin) is visible (or, more commonly, the letter Shin is written on the outside of the case).
I'm learning a lot about Jewish customs! Above is the webpage address where I found this description. At work one of the men has placed a mezuzah on the casement of his office door. He touches it and kisses his finger everytime he enters his office. Blessings!

I was wondering just how long the star shown over Jesus' birth place and if that length of time is relevant for today in some way. You know the star that the wise men followed.

My reply

Sorry, I don't have the answer to that. The star was seen in Babylon that caused the wise men to make their 4-month journey. When they got to Jerusalem, they asked, "Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things...when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes...demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea" (Mt. 2:2-5).

In Num 24:17, Balaam said, "I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel." Leo is the sign of the tribe of Judah. Regulus, in Leo, is called the king star. However, I don't see how sighting Regulus could alert the wise men.

Mt. 2:9 says, "When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child (paidion, toddler, not brephos, infant) was." Jesus would have been taken to Egypt right after the wise men found him.

I don't see how any ordinary star could show the wise men where the Christ child was living. It probably was a miraculous event, rather than a star we would recognize. It is an unsolved mystery. Whatever it was, it lasted long enough for the wise men to travel to Bethlehem, which is about 5 miles south of Jerusalem.

Since Herod had the 2-year-old-and-under males killed in Bethlehem, the wise men probably visited Jesus in BC 3. Herod died before the eclipse of Jan. 10, BC 1. Agape

Re: Books
Just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your pro"s and con"s. Over the years that I have been reading them, I have learned so much. I have written you many times before, but I just felt the need to say "Thank you" again. I am reordering your book on Revelation, as I loaned the one I had and it was never returned. I have just finished re-reading "The End of The Age"(Exit 2007). And I was wondering, If you were writing the same book today, Would you make any changes? In Christ

My reply

Thanks, and yes, I'd change the timing of the Pre-Trib Rapture :-) I thought we'd be long gone by now. 1998 was the 480th year in the Modern Parallels. The next one was 483 years. That came to 2000/2001, a reasonable time, I thought, after the Rapture for the Tribulation to start. Pentecost, 2001 was 2300 days, counted by inclusive reckoning, from the Feast of Trumpets in 2007. That looked good, but it wasn't right.

Now, I'm hoping the Rapture will be this Pentecost. I'm watching events in Israel. What a powder keg the Middle East is. Wars and rumours of wars is tailor-made for today. Jesus said, "ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass" (Mt. 24:6). It's a good thing the Lord is in complete control of the situation.

Oh Israel! Eze 18:31 says, "Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for WHY WILL YE DIE, O house of Israel?"

Eze 33:11: "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for WHY WILL YE DIE, O house of Israel?"

God set before them the blessing and the curse. They have chosen the way that ends in chastisement. Lev 26:27,28 says, "if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times (a week of years, Dan. 9:27) for your sins." The 70th week of Daniel seems near. Once it starts, I see no way to stop it. Thank goodness the Lord will shorten those days, or no flesh would be saved (Mt. 24:21,22).

This shortening may also be why we are still here. Agape

Re: 10 day warning =10 month warning?
I read somewhere that if Pentecost was in 30 AD, then 2000 years(prophetic) would end on July 22, 2001. So if the 10 day warning is really a 10 month warning starting from that time, that would bring us to May, wouldn't it? Sincerely

My reply

I am not convinced that there is such a thing as a 360-day prophetic year. In Gen 1:14, "God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years." I don't think this has ever been changed.

The 10 days in Rev. 2:10 could easily mean something else rather than 24-hour days. The meaning is to be understood by the context, but that's hard to figure out in this case. The Greek word translated "days" is "hemera." Strong's says, "feminine (with 5610 implied) of a derivative of hemai (to sit; akin to the base of 1476) meaning tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. (literally) the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole 24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes); figuratively, a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context):--age, + alway, (mid-)day (by day, (-ly)), + for ever, judgment, (day) time, while, years."

There are 10 days from Ascension Day to Pentecost. Maybe that is the time in view. There was some good reason that Christ waited 40 days to Ascend. Forty years from when Israel grew leaves in the Six-Day War of 1967 seems to include not only the Pre-Trib Rapture, but the Pre-Wrath Rapture, when the Body of Christ is all in Heaven just before the Wrath of God hits Earth.
