"Spring rapture may still be possible"

I guess I'm technically a "lurker", having been reading the posts on this site for at least a year or two, and never having posted before - although I've E-mailed a couple of posters. The point I want to make is - maybemaybe, we rapture watchers shouldn't, necessarily, give up on a spring rapture, 2002. Years ago, I was persuaded that the rapture had to be on Rosh Hashana. Some people I consider good re. Bible Prophecy (i.e. Dr. Charles Taylor) have had that viewpoint. However, after having read alot of Marilyn Agee's site, I believe she may have some good points for a spring rapture. To get back to my POINT - on some previous post, it says that 1. ORTHODOX ascension day is June 13th and ORTHODOX pentecost is June 23rd. I moved here about 1 year ago (on Feb. 22nd) - after having been at the previous house 37 years. God seemed to say to me I'd only be here 1 year. Actually, it's been more than 12 whole months, but we moved in winter and it's still winter, a year later. It's not summer, yet. I get the impression I won't be here for another summer. Time will tell if that's a true or false impression. Anyway, June 13th is BEFORE summer and June 23rd is just 2 days after . Close. Just thought I'd remind you all of this possible "window." May we all be able to move to our Father's house - soon!!! GJM

My reply

I just wanted to let you know I appreciate your reminding me of the Orthodox Ascension Day on June 13 and their Pentecost on June 23.

Any day is ok with me. It has to be the exact day that the Lord planned before the world began. Father knows best. His wonderful Son knows best. I wouldn't change their plans for one minute. I have faith, walk by faith, and walk with my God. All I need is to be patient and let the Rapture happen when it is supposed to happen. If I can figure out when it will be, fine. If I can't figure out when it will be, fine. I can be patient. Agape

...the “National and Islamic Forces” are on the verge of signing a joint memorandum confirming the Palestinian right to use violence against Israel. The organization's emblem features of a map of the entire State of Israel, indicating that the factions' common ideological denominator is to destroy all of Israel and replace it with a Palestinian state.

My note: Look at the map of all of Israel in the center of the National and Islamic Forces Emblem. They don't want peace, or even a piece of Israel. They want all of Israel. Arafat arranges his headdress to look as much like the whole map of Israel as he can muster.

Re: The light of the world.
Be encouraged & keep looking up. 'We must work the works of Him who sent us AS LONG AS IT IS DAY.' Your brother (in the Lord)

My reply

Thanks. I am encouraged and will always keep watching and looking up, no matter how long it takes. This I know, every day brings us closer to the time when Christ will come for his bridegroom. Things are coming together ready for the beginning of the Tribulation after we are gone. That seems close.

I don't get discouraged, because I wouldn't change one minute if I could. The Lord always knows best. He can see things that we can't. It will all come out right in the end. I'm an overcomer.

You are right about working His works as long as it is day. In John 9:4, Jesus said, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." Agape

Re: How are we doing?
Thank you for all your hard work. You are indeed a blessing to those who read your website. Question: Are we still on track for a pretrib rapture and the glorious return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus on Nisan 1, 2008?

My reply

Thanks for your kind words. Of course we are still on track for a Pre-Trib Rapture, and the Second Coming on Nisan 1, 5768 still looks good. We are probably being winnowed to blow the chaff away and leave the good grain. We have to walk by faith, and should be steady as a rock. God took Enoch because he "walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (Gen. 5:24). We should simply "walk with God" until Christ comes for his Bride.

In the parable of the ten virgins, "the bridegroom TARRIED" (chronizo, delayed) (Mt. 25:5).

Ruth 3:13 says, "TARRY this night (probably Pentecost), and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning."

Elijah told Elisha to tarry before Elijah was raptured. 2Ki 2:2 says, "Elijah said unto Elisha, TARRY here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I WILL NOT LEAVE THEE. So they went down to Bethel." At the 1st TARRY, Elisha passed the test.

In 2Ki 2:4, "Elijah said unto him, Elisha, TARRY here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho." At the 2nd TARRY, Elisha passed the test.

2Ki 2:6 And Elijah said unto him, TARRY, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on." At the 3rd TARRY, Elisha passed the test.

God's prophecies always come true on time, even if to us it seems that he tarries. Hab 2:3 says, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry (mahahh, delay), wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not TARRY" (achar, be late).

Heb 10:35-39 says, "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For YE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE, THAT AFTER YE HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YE MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not TARRY (chronizo, delay). Now THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." We have to be patient a while longer.

...Did you get my email asking you about any scripture that would refer to the concept of an "age of accountability."...I am going through Joel 2 verse by verse. It struck me that in verse 16 it refers to the gathering of the "children and those that suck the breasts" for a reason. I believe this could be a reference to all the children and babies below the age of accountability worldwide being raptured before the wrath falls. I believe, that unlike the scenario given in the Left Behind books, that not all children will be caught up at the rapture of the Bride. I think that children will be caught up in that rapture along covenantial lines.

Children under the age of accountability whose parental covering are qualified to be the Bride, will also raptured at that first rapture. But those children under the age of accountability who are in families whose parents are "foolish virgins" will be left to face the tribulation with their parents. When the death angel passed through Egypt, only the innocent children who were under the care of parents who were in covenant with God, spreading the blood of a perfect Lamb over their doorposts were saved. In the same way the babies and innocent children will be taken to the ark of safety in the first rapture only if their parents, their covering, are worthy to "stand before the Son of Man." At the second rapture, I believe that even the babies and children under the age of accountabiity of the wicked will be taken and will not face the wrath of God. I am rambling some, but you get the idea. I am looking for any verses that would speak to this idea of the "age of accountability." I know Jews have a bar mitzfah to herald a child moving into adulthood. I am not sure if this has any connection with a child being then responsible for moral decisions. I tend to think that the age is not fixed, but because God knows every heart and when they are able to grasp spiritual things, the age would vary with every individual. You have such a grasp on so much of the Word of God, I though you might remember coming across a verse having to do with the age of accountability. I know I remember coming across one in particular, but I cannot remember where it was at. Thanks for any insight you might have on this. Your brother in Jesus

My reply

I got your e-mail about the age of accountability and thought I answered. I'm sorry. The words "accountable" and "accountability" are not in the LXX or the KJV. Unless there is a specific commandment on this, the only thing we have to go on is Jesus' actions in line with Jewish traditions. Jesus went to the temple when 12 to prepare for his Bar Mitzvah at 13. The Lord knows how to make exceptions when warranted, and he is the judge. I agree with you on the children at the 1st Rapture. All will go in the 2nd Rapture.

Here is my take on the early part of Joel. Joel 1:14 to 3:14 concerns the last day of this age, when the 6th seal is broken, and the first day of the Millennial Day of the Lord, when the 7th seal will be broken. Joel 1:9 says, "The meat-offering and the drink-offering is cut off." The temple on Earth has been desecrated Mid-Trib.

Joe 1:14,15 says, "Sanctify (qadash, proclaim) ye a fast, CALL A SOLEMN ASSEMBLY, (in Heaven, Heb. 12:23) GATHER THE ELDERS (from one end of heaven to the other, Mt. 24:31; they were caught up previously in the Pre-Trib Rapture, Rev. 4:1-4) and all the inhabitants of the land (the Pre-Wrath Rapture, gathered from one end of the Earth to the other, Mark 13:27) into the house of the LORD your God (in Heaven), and cry unto the LORD, Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is AT HAND, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come" (i.e., 'the day of God' that is the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord).

II Peter 3:12 mentions "the day of God." It says, "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of THE DAY OF GOD, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"

Rev. 6:12-17 describes the same time. It says, "I beheld when he had opened the SIXTH SEAL, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and THE SUN BECAME BLACK AS SACKCLOTH OF HAIR , and THE MOON (the Crescent Moon for this is Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets) BECAME AS BLOOD (possibly reflecting the fiery meteorites and wildfires on Earth); And the stars of heaven (smaller stones, probably released when the binary asteroid breaks apart) fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven (smoky sky) departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places (in the earthquake). And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face (as in Eze. 38:20, 'presence,' paniym, face) of him that sitteth on the throne (the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30), and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME (it's 6 PM on the last day of this age); and who shall be able to stand?"

Joel 2:1 says, "BLOW YE THE TRUMPET in Zion (this represents the 'last trump,' I Cor. 15:51,52, the Pre-Wrath Rapture), AND SOUND AN ALARM (more trumpets, for it is the Feast of Trumpets) in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for THE DAY OF THE LORD COMETH, FOR IT IS NIGH AT HAND."

Joel 2:32 says, "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (malat, ESCAPE, leap out; i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture): for in mount Zion (the heavenly one) and in Jerusalem (the earthly one) shall be deliverance (pleytah, an escaped portion), as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant (those who will live on into the Millennium) whom the LORD shall call."

Joel 3:14-16 says, "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR in the valley of decision. THE SUN AND THE MOON SHALL BE DARKENED, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens (atmospheric) and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel."

Rev. 11:15-19 describes the next day, the Day of God, the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. It says, "the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall REIGN for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast REIGNED. And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, AND THE TIME OF THE DEAD, THAT THEY SHOULD BE JUDGED, AND THAT THOU SHOULDEST GIVE REWARD UNTO THY SERVANTS the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great (at the Judgment Seat of Christ); and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (no stones are mentioned in it; as Moses broke the stone tablets at the foot of Mt. Sinai, the stone asteroids have been cast down to Earth because God was not obeyed): and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

Psa 75:2,3 says, "When I shall receive the congregation (Heb. 12:23) I will JUDGE uprightly (at the Judgment Seat of Christ). The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it (i.e., Earth itself won't split apart). Selah (meaning pause and think of that)."

Joel 2:5 mentions "a strong people set in battle array." That is Gog's army (Eze. 38). Verse 10 says, "The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining."

Joel 2:15-18 describes the scene in Heaven on that Feast of Trumpets. It says, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly (the 'general assembly' of Heb. 12:23): Gather the people (i.e., gather those who had been caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture, from one end of Heaven to the other, Mt. 24:31), sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts (i.e., gather the Tribulation saints in the Pre-Wrath Rapture, including all children, Mark 13:27): let the bridegroom (Christ) go forth of his chamber, and the bride (Bride of Christ, the chosen ones) out of her closet (chuppah, inner chamber). Let the priests (those caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture are priests, Rev. 1:6), the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people." I take it that we will ask for the Lord to save the Jews, as Queen Esther did.

Addressing the Jews on Earth in Joel 2:19-21, the Lord says, "Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen (i.e., the Muslims, etc.): But I will remove far off from you the northern army (Gog's army, Eze. 38), and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea (Dead Sea), and his hinder part toward the utmost sea (the Mediterranean, Zeph. 2:4,5), and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things."

Joel 2:23 says, "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain (Christ's 1st coming on Tishri 1) moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain (Christ's 2nd coming, on Nisan 1) in the first month." Both rains start with a first month. The former rain starts Tishri 1. The latter rain starts Nisan 1 (Unger's Bible Dictionary).

Joel 2:27-29 says, "ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel (the Second Advent has taken place as the latter rain on Nisan 1), and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward (after the 2nd Advent), that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit."

Joel 2:30-32 says, "I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of SMOKE. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come (at the breaking of the 6th seal, before the Day of God arrives). And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (raptured): for in mount Zion (the heavenly one) and in Jerusalem (the earthly one) shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call" (the earthly remnant of Israel that will live on into the Millennium). All Israel will be saved in a day--that day (Isa. 66:8). Agape

Ice reservoirs found on Mars, By Dr David Whitehouse http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_2009000/2009318.stm
BBC News 5-26-02 Water-ice has been found in vast quantities just below the surface across great swathes of the planet Mars....

It confirms early observations that pointed to enormous reservoirs of ice.

Ice crystals less than one metre (three feet) below Mars surface Located south of 60 degrees latitude Melted, would create planet-wide ocean 500 metres deep

...This finding will answer a question that has puzzled Mars researchers for decades: Many lines of evidence suggest that the Red Planet was water-rich in the past, so where did all that water go?.

The answer appears to be that it is in the regolith - the layer of loose rock and dust on the surface....

The same design of instrument was used on the Lunar Prospector spacecraft that discovered ice in the shadowed regions of the Moon's poles in 1998....

The ice is just beneath the surface south of 60 degrees latitude.

Researchers suspect the same to be true of the northern hemisphere but cannot make the appropriate observations until later this year due to the Martian winter in the north.

The "Seal of Jerusalem"; and the "signs of the times"
by Philip Rogers

Several weeks ago (from March-2000) I was watching the television broadcast of "God is News in the News" and was elated at the article Perry Stone and Joe Van Koevering did on the recently discovered "Seal of Jerusalem". This seal or engraving upon stone and various pottery artifacts was discovered at a site on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. The discovery was made at what we would call a "house or home church". This building was complete with underground cisterns for the probable use of "baptism". It was at the level of these cisterns that to the stone and pottery "seals" were discovered.

However, what excited my soul was what the "seal" represented. The dating of these artifacts are according to reports, from the 1st century church in Jerusalem!...

"Seal of Jerusalem stamp"

...when the ones that are called (the bride) by the bridegroom-Christ are united they are "immediately at the land whether they went". This my friends is the "Rapture"!

My thoughts

Jn. 6:21 says, "immediately THE SHIP was at the land whither they went." This seems to tie in with the gospel in the stars.

The constellation Argo, meaning "the company of travelers," is a ship. It represents Christ as Saviour just as Noah's Ark did. The ship Argo has a depiction of Christ's face just above the waterline.

On Jan 21,1999, an anchor-cross sign was seen in the Sun (left above). Did it mark the first of the four years in the parable of the barren fig tree (Mark 13:6-9)--1999, 2000, 2001, 2002? There was a new star, Nova Velorum, in Vela, the sails of the ship Argo, on May 22, 1999. The magnificent anchor-cross sign (right above) was seen in Vela June 9, 2000.

Gen. 7:11-17 says, "all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark...and the LORD shut him in. And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up (depicting the Rapture?) above the earth."

The Rapture will be as the days of Noah, (Mt. 24:37). Christ will come as the rain (Hos. 6:3). It rained 40 days in Noah's day, then the ship was lifted up (i.e., raptured). Gen. 7:6 says, "at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark" and he sent forth a dove, symbol of the Holy Spirit and of the Bride (Song of Sol. 2:10-14.

That 40 days may be a good clue. Joshua (Jesus is Joshua from the Hebrew) spied out the promised land on Earth and RETURNED to where he came from at the end of 40 days--on Av 9. Will Jesus return at the end of the same 40 days as Joshua portrayed when they spied out the land? If so, Jesus would come for his Bride on Av 9 (July 18, 2002), Tisha be-Av, turning that fast day, when the temples went up in smoke, to a joyous day, when the dove, Bride of Christ, temple of the Holy Spirit will fly up in clouds.

Do you think the following (Ezek 38/11) suggests that Israel will be demilitarized, and will be, temporarily, in peace. If Israeli people will indeed hand away weapons and close down their mighty army, it might be after one bloody war (Pre-emptive strike against a neighboring hostile country?) and international condemnation.

11. And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

ps You seem to study ´the Dark Side´ ; ) Your e-mail concerning possible eclipse. Reminded me of "Pseudo Ephraim´s" description about drought during Tribulation: it was so intense that - as there were no clouds - the stars could not be seen properly. Is the no rain period going to last 3.5 years or troughout the entire Tribulation? Agape

My reply

Strange that you mentioned the dark side when I was researching the "Dark Time" (see P & C 906). It is the 40 days from Tamuz 17, when the spies entered the land, to Av 9, when the spies returned.

BTW, I wonder what this means. Jer 47:4 says, "Because of the day (Day of God's Wrath?) that cometh to spoil all the Philistines (wanderers, i.e., bedouins? angels that kept not their first estate?), and to cut off from Tyrus (rock) and Zidon (fishing) every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines (wanderers), the remnant of the country of Caphtor (sphere)."

Jude 6 says, "the angels which kept not their first estate (on the planet Rahab), but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day" (the Day of God's Wrath).

> > Do you think the following (Ezek 38/11) suggests that Israel will be demilitarized, and will be, temporarily, in peace.

They are not necessarily demilitarized, but living peacefully because of the 7-yr. peace covenant.

> > as there were no clouds - the stars could not be seen properly

How could that be? It seems that there would be many more stars showing than usual, but the bright ones would be seen in their usual places.

> > Is the no rain period going to last 3.5 years or troughout the entire Tribulation?

I think it is just during Moses and Elijah's 3.5 years. Agape

Re: Ten Commandments
I haven't written for a long time but thank you for all your PCs. Can you tell me why you think God waited 2500 years before he gave Moses the Commandments. How did the people before that know about the laws of God? Thank you for taken the time to answer me. God bless your work!

My reply

So good to hear from you again.

There was some information imparted to Adam by the Lord when he visited the garden in the cool of the day. I think Adam was in the garden 40 years being taught and tested. This is not all recorded, but we get some indications of what it might have been. For instance, Cain and Abel knew that they should sacrifice to the Lord. Cain's early descendants knew how to work brass and iron and make the harp and organ (Gen. 4:21,22). Noah knew what clean and unclean animals were before the Law was codified at Sinai.

There are 7 Dispensations during which God tests mankind in different ways. He gives them certain instructions that they are to obey. What he told Adam or Moses is not necessarily what he tells us in this Dispensation of Grace. God's instructions were tailored for each dispensation. Man will fail in all of them. When it is all over, mankind will be without excuse for failing to obey God. Because all are condemned for not obeying God's requirements, man desperately needed a Saviour. Thank God he sent us a Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ.

1. Innocence - 40 years - God talked with Adam directly
2. Conscience - 1616 years - God gave man knowledge in his conscience to live by
3. Human Government - 427 years - God gave man leaders who made rules to live by
4. Promise - 430 years - God gave Abraham promises to see if he believed him even though he didn't see them fulfilled in his lifetime
5. Law - 1559 years - God gave Moses the written law for man to live by
6. Grace - 1977 years - God sent Christ to teach us. He cut to the basics and gave us a commandment upon which all the laws given to Moses hung
7. Kingdom - 1000 years - Christ will be the perfect king ruling over the renewed Earth. Even with a perfect king and a perfect environment, man will fail his test

For the Dispensation of Grace, in Mat 7:12, Jesus said, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Man was to believe in Christ. In Mar 9:42, he said, "whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. Jesus took sin out of the way as an issue in Salvation. Now it is "What think ye of Christ? WHOSE SON IS HE?"

Some things are carried over into following Dispensations. For instance, Prov 30:4 sounds like it was written for us. It says, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, if thou canst tell?"
