So it's just as well that the latest news from the Wailing Wall proved prosaic. Officials of the Jerusalem Antiquities Authority enlightened the Haaretz newspaper over the weekend about the moisture's source: It was residue from a plant growing between the stones.
Note: It is pretty big to be called a "small drip."
Hab. 2:3-12 says, "the vision is yet for an appointed time (mowed, set feast, season, time, SIGNAL OR SIGN), but at THE END it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (delay). Behold, his (the Beast of Rev. 13:2-10, the Tribulation Pope's) soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith (Christianity). Yea also, because he (the Beast) transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home (travels and moves to Babylon), who enlargeth his desire as HELL (Satan), and is as DEATH (the False Prophet, Rev. 6:8), and cannot be satisfied, but GATHERETH UNTO HIM ALL NATIONS (Rev. 13:7), and heapeth unto him all people: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? (42 months, Rev. 13:5) and to him (Satan) that ladeth himself with thick clay (enters into the body of the False Prophet)! Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them? Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land (Israel), of the city (Jerusalem), and of all that dwell therein. Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul. For THE STONE SHALL CRY OUT OF THE WALL, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city (Babylon) by iniquity!"
I was utterly amazed to see eight (8) separate
images on your posted photograph of the Wailing Wall.
From the far left, I see:
1) Lion Cub (Angle View -- Cub Facing to the Right)
2) Mature Male Lion Face
3) Female Human Face
4) Ram Face
6) Partial Female Human Face
7) Cross (Slightly Lower)
8) Building (Similar to Models of the Second Temple)
(45 Deg. View -- Building Facing Left)
There are other images there that I cannot define. It appears that the Wailing Wall is a collage. I agree with your correspondent in PC 927 in seeing the cross and the image that I think is a ram's face. What do you make of all of these images? Thank you
I can pick out some vague faces, of what I don't know, but the only ones that are clear to me are those I call the Bride and Bridegroom. I thought the time of day had to be just so to see these faces. I have looked at many pictures of the wall in the last few days. The male face is there in many different lighting situations. The female face is not recognizable to me in other pictures like she is in the picture on my Home Page. It makes me wonder if that is on purpose as we get closer to the time of the Rapture.
Here is a night photo that shows the man's face clearly, but not the woman's. She seems to be farther back and more hidden. I doubt that I would have recognized her if this was the only picture I had seen.
Below is one after a snowstorm. I can barely see the man's face in this one. It may be because it is...a grey-skies day. Aside from that, this shows why shepherd's would not have been tending their flocks in the fields at night on Dec. 25th. It doesn't always snow, but it does get cold at night in winter. Jesus was born in the fall, not on Dec. 25, probably on Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets. Agape
The FEASTS OF THE LORD depict ALL of the significant events in the life and ministry of Jesus:
"...REGARDING A FESTIVAL OR A NEW MOON OR SABBATHS...WHICH ARE SHADOWS OF THINGS TO COME, BUT THE SUBSTANCE IS OF CHRIST." Col. 2:16-17
Jesus rode into Jerusalem atop a donkey on Palm Sunday April 22, 31 A.D.
Three day's later on Wednesday April 25, 31 A.D. they crucified the perfect lamb of God.
This was the first of the 7 feast's of The Lord from the law of Moses that Jesus fulfilled called...
1. THE FEAST OF PASSOVER - DEATH OF CHRIST...
The second was fulfilled late in the afternoon or early evening of Wednesday April 25, 31 A.D. called...
2. THE FEAST OF UNLEAVEN BREAD - BURIAL OF CHRIST...
After Jesus spent three day's and three night's in the grave he fulfilled the third feast late Saturday evening April 28 to Sunday evening April 29, 31 A.D. and that feast day was called...
3. THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS - RESURRECTION OF CHRIST...
They were to count fifty day's from Firstfruit's and after 49 day's on the 50th day was Pentecost and that feast was fulfilled by Jesus on Saturday evening April 16, 31 A.D. to Sunday evening April 17, 31 A.D. It is called in the book of Act's
4. THE FEAST OF PENTECOST - SPIRIT SENT BY CHRIST...
There is a long interval between the 4th feast Pentecost and the 5th feast Trumpet's and that long interval represent's the 2,000 year church age. 2,000 X 360.016.57 day's = 720,033.14 day's.
>From Palm Sunday April 22, 31 A.D. to Rosh Hashanah the feast of Trumpet's, which begin's sundown September 6, 2002 and ends sundown September 7, 2002, it is 720,033.14 day's between those date's.
The next feast Jesus will fulfill is Revelation 4 verse 1 and it is called...
5. THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS - RAPTURE BY CHRIST...
Since there were 55 or 56 day's between Palm Sunday April 22, 31 A.D. and Pentecost June 16 - 17, 31 A.D. there will be 55 or 56 day's before the tribulation begin's.
There are 55 or 56 day's between Rosh Hashanah the feast of Trumpet's September 6 - 7, 2002 and November 1 - 2, 2002.
October 31st is Halloween which mean's something like "ALL HELL'S EVE". That would make Novemeber 1 - 2 "ALL HELL'S DAY". The perfect day for the tribulation to begin.
360.01657 day's X 7 year's = 2,520.11 day's.
From November 2, 2002 to Yom Kippur (the feast of Atonement) sundown September 26, 2009 it is 2,520.11 day's between those two date's.
This will be the sixth feast Jesus will fulfill called
6. THE FEAST OF ATONEMENT - RETURN OF CHRIST...
The final feast Jesus will fulfill is called
7. THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES - REIGN OF CHRIST...
> > on Wednesday April 25, 31 A.D. they crucified the perfect lamb of God.
I think the Crucifixion was on Thursday, Nisan 13, April 6, 30 AD. Ezekiel portrayed "the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year" (Eze. 4:6). AD 30 + 40 = 70 AD. The year 31 AD does not fit. AD 30 fits perfectly.
Herod's temple construction began in BC 20/19. John 2:20 tells us that the temple was 46 years in building. That was when "passover was at hand" (John 2:13). This was the first Passover of Jesus' ministry, 27 AD. Three Passovers later was Friday, April 7, 30 AD. Jesus died as the lambs were being killed at the temple on the previous day, the preparation day, Thursday, April 6, 30 AD (Nisan 13, 3790). John 19:14,15 says, "IT WAS THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him."
Luke 24:7 says that he will rise again on the third day. Those days were Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mt. 12:40 says that Jesus was 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the Earth. Those were Thursday (day), Friday (night then day), Saturday (night then day), and Sunday (night). A Wednesday crucifixion does not fit.
John 12:1,12,13 says, "JESUS, SIX DAYS BEFORE THE PASSOVER (Friday, Nisan 14) CAME TO BETHANY...NEXT DAY...PALM" (Sunday). Jesus arrived at Bethany near 6 PM on Saturday, Nisan 8. The 6 days before the Passover were (1) Saturday, Nisan 8, (2) Sunday, Nisan 9, (3) Monday, Nisan 10, (4) Tuesday, Nisan 11, (5) Wednesday, Nisan 12 and (6) Thursday, Nisan 13. A Wednesday doesn't fit.
Jesus was anointed for burial as Wednesday, Nisan 12, which began at 6 PM on Nisan 11. Nisan 12 was the last night to anoint him for burial. The next night, Nisan 13, he had been taken prisoner.
Mark 14:1 tells that "after two days was the passover." Those 2 days were Wednesday, Nisan 12 and Thursday, Nisan 13. A Wednesday doesn't fit. It was on the day before the Passover. The Passover was Nisan 14. Therefore, the Crucifixion had to be on Nisan 13. The Crucifixion was "NOT ON THE FEAST DAY" (Mark 14:2). "IT WAS THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER" (John 19:14) (i.e., the day BEFORE the Passover, Thursday, Nisan 13.
> > THE FEAST OF UNLEAVEN BREAD - BURIAL OF CHRIST
Jesus was buried in haste just before the Feast of Passover began. He was 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the Earth (Mt. 12:40). They were Thursday (day), Friday (night then day), Saturday (night then day), and Sunday (night). Nisan 15, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, will not work. Jesus had to be buried before Nisan 14, the Feast of Passover, began.
> > >From November 2, 2002 to Yom Kippur (the feast of Atonement) sundown September 26, 2009 it is 2,520.11 day's between those two date's.
> > This will be the sixth feast Jesus will fulfill called
> > THE FEAST OF ATONEMENT - RETURN OF CHRIST
Why do you think Christ will return on the Day of Atonement? Eze. 29:17 sets the day as Nisan 1, first day of the first month, Then verse 21 says, "In that day (Nisan 1) will I cause the horn (king) of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth (Logos, Word) in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD." Nisan 1 is the first day of the Jewish Regnal and Sacred Years. Hosea 6:3 says, "the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." The former rain starts on Tishri 1, Jesus' First Advent, his birthday. The latter rain starts on Nisan 1, Jesus' Second Advent. Agape
I wasn't aware that Bob Thieme taught two Raptures. I thought I figured that out all by myself with just the Lord's help. In all my 7 years of reading an 18" stack of books from the Seminary Collection at BIOLA, La Mirada, CA, campus every week, I don't remember even one author that taught 2 Raptures.
I think the 24 elders are the 12 patriarchs of Israel and the 12 apostles. Since John is one of the elders, and all 24 are seated on thrones in Heaven right after John is caught up to Heaven in Rev. 4:1, all the rest of the elders get their crowns of gold at the same time, at the Pre-Trib Rapture. Heb 11:40 says, "God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect." Therefore, we will be raptured when the Old Testament Saints get their resurrection bodies. Rev. 5:8-10 speaks of "saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE, AND NATION; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."
This group is present in Heaven when Christ is given the 7-sealed Title Deed of the Earth. This group seen in Heaven in Rev. 4 and 5 is PRESENT IN HEAVEN BEFORE THE FIRST SEAL IS BROKEN. They are not said to have washed their robes in the blood of Christ. They are the wise virgins that confessed their sins so that God could cleanse them of all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). They had enough oil of the Holy Spirit to keep their lamps burning brightly during the time they had to wait for the Bridegroom. They are Philadelphians, the ones that Jesus has no words of condemnation for, when the Rapture "is nigh" (Rev. 1:3; 22:10).
In Rev. 5:9, we see another group in Heaven. "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, OF ALL NATIONS, AND KINDREDS, AND PEOPLE, AND TONGUES, STOOD BEFORE THE THRONE, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands." Who are these people? Rev. 7:9 tells us that "These are they which CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, AND HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB."
These Tribulation saints are in Heaven AFTER THE 6TH SEAL IS BROKEN in Rev. 6:12. They arrive in Heaven before the 7th seal is broken in Rev. 8.
The first group are caught up to Heaven when the FIRST TRUMP OF GOD SOUNDS in I Thess. 4:13-18. The second group are caught up to Heaven when the LAST TRUMP OF GOD SOUNDS in I Cor. 15:51,52.
There are two trumps, the first and the last, and, in the prototype, there are two trumpets to call the two groups to Heaven. In Nu. 10:1-4, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee TWO TRUMPETS OF SILVER; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest USE THEM FOR THE CALLING OF THE ASSEMBLY (in Heaven, Heb. 12:23), and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them (both), ALL THE ASSEMBLY SHALL ASSEMBLE THEMSELVES TO THEE AT THE DOOR (symbol of the Rapture, Rev. 3:8; 4:1) of the tabernacle of the congregation. And IF THEY BLOW BUT WITH ONE TRUMPET, THEN THE PRINCES, WHICH ARE HEADS OF THE THOUSANDS OF ISRAEL, SHALL GATHER THEMSELVES UNTO THEE."
Both groups are to be gathered to the general assembly in Heaven on the Day of God, the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. This is the day that Jesus Christ is given his kingdom on Earth. All his saints are called to the assembly. Heb. 12:22-23 says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of JUST MEN MADE PERFECT."
Mt. 24:31 speaks of the wise virgins who were caught up to Heaven before the first seal was broken. It says, "he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
All 10 virgins are Christians. Their "OLD SINS" are wiped off the books when they accept Christ as their own personal Saviour. II Peter 1:4 says, "But he that lacketh these things (in the previous list of things to add to our faith) is blind (like the Laodiceans), and CANNOT SEE AFAR OFF (HEAVEN), AND HATH FORGOTTEN THAT HE WAS PURGED FROM HIS OLD SINS." Rom. 3:25 says, "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST."
Salvation is a free gift, and cannot be worked for. Rewards are different. They are something we should work for. Paul knew this. In 1Co 9:24-27, he said, "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a CASTAWAY." Could Paul lose his salvation? No! However, he could forfeit the prize of being part of the Bride of Christ called to Heaven before the Tribulation.
In Phi 3:14, Paul said, "I press toward the mark for THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS." That high calling is the Rapture, when Jesus will say, "Come up hither" (Rev. 4:1). So run that ye may obtain.
2Pe 1:4-11 says, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: THAT BY THESE YE MIGHT BE PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (the Holy Spirit), having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, GIVE DILIGENCE TO MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE: FOR IF YE DO THESE THINGS, YE SHALL NEVER FALL: FOR SO AN ENTRANCE (THE RAPTURE) SHALL BE MINISTERED UNTO YOU ABUNDANTLY INTO THE EVERLASTING KINGDOM OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST."
Do you remember what Jesus told Peter when He washed his feet? Joh 13:5-11 is an eye opener. It says, "he (Jesus) poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, IF I WASH THEE NOT, THOU HAST NO PART WITH ME. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, HE THAT IS WASHED NEEDETH NOT SAVE TO WASH HIS FEET, BUT IS CLEAN EVERY WHIT: and ye are clean, but not all. For he knew who should betray him."
Mark 13:27 speaks of the Tribulation saints. It says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Tribulation saints, caught up just before God's Wrath hits Earth at noon [Zeph. 2:4,5] on the Day of God) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN (those caught up before the Tribulation began)."
> > First the "good" are raptured and a few years later the "bad?? Com'on! God's children are one Body and are all saved by His electing sovereign grace through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and not of any works on their part!
Try it your way and see. Heb 12:14 says, "Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD." The Tribulation saints have to learn that lesson the hard way, but they do learn it. They wash their robes in the blood of Christ by confessing all their known sins that they committed after they accepted Christ.
1Jo 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins), and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (unknown sins). At that point we have our white robes on. Jesus told the Laodiceans to buy of him white raiment.
In Rev 3:16-18, he said, "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and WHITE RAIMENT, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."
All the Body of Christ is not the Bride of Christ. The head of the Body of Christ is Jesus Christ himself. He was born into another world in 30 AD. Now, we are down to the feet. One foot is born into a new world a bit ahead of the other. The Bride of Christ is born into Heaven before the Tribulation starts. The Tribulation saints are the other foot. They are born into Heaven just before the Wrath of God hits Earth the day the Great Tribulation is shortened or no flesh would be saved (Mt. 24:21,22).
Luke 12:46 says, "The lord of that servant (the unwise one) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (the shortened Tribulation) with the unbelievers." Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
In Mt. 22, the man without a wedding garment was thrown outside the door (symbol of the Rapture, Rev. 3:8), and "there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen." At the time of the Rapture, "they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." We need to be called, and chosen, and faithful when the Rapture takes place. We need a wake-up call before it is too late.
> > I'm convinced the rapture will not happen this July or even next July.
Why not hedge your bets. Get the white robe and watch, as Jesus commanded, and wait patiently until he comes, whenever it is. We need to be overcomers.
> > that the five foolish virgins are born again children of God is just not Biblical.
Why, then, did they call him Lord? Why did they go buy some more oil of the Holy Spirit? Mt. 25:10-12 says, "while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not."
Why, then, did Christ say he would "spue (emesai, vomit) thee (the Laodiceans) out of my mouth"? They were in his Body to start with. However, judgement begins at the church.
1Pe 4:17 says, "For the time is come that JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" Agape
I think Christ will return on the 1st day of the Jewish Regnal Year and Sacred Year, on Rosh Hashanah Nisan (Eze. 29:17,21; Hos. 6:3). That is not a feast day, but a trumpet is to be blown on the first day of each month.
I think the Pre-Wrath Rapture (the "last trump," I Cor. 15:51,52) will be before the asteroids hit at noon (Zeph. 2:4,5) on the Feast of Trumpets in 2007, but when will the Pre-Trib Rapture take place? How does it fit into the picture? It has to be before the 24 elders are crowned and seated on their thrones in Rev. 4:4. The 23 elders are resurrected along with John, who is the other elder. I take the elders to be the 12 patriarchs of Israel and the 12 apostles. The Pre-Trib Rapture has to be before the 7-sealed Title Deed of the Earth is given to Christ. The Pre-Trib Rapture also has to be before the first seal is broken.
The era of the Church is sandwiched between the 69th and 70th weeks of Dan. 9:27. Thus the Pre-Trib Rapture will take place before the 70th week (the Tribulation) begins. The first "trump of God" (I Thess. 4:16) is heard at the first Rapture. The "last trump" sounds at the last Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets. Therefore, it seems that the first trump would be heard on Pentecost, between Pentecost and Trumpets, or on Trumpets like the last Rapture.
When would a trumpet sound? On Pentecost (when the 1st trumpet of the Bible sounded), on the fast of Av 9 (the trumpet was to be sounded on fast days) and on the Feast of Trumpets.
The Jews keep Av 9, Tisha B'Av. However, the Bible shows that Solomon's temple was burned on Av 10. Jer 52:12,13 says, "in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, And burned the house of the LORD." Josephus gives Av 10 for the burning of Herod's temple too.
Zec 7:5 says, "Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth (Av 9) and seventh month (Tishri 10, fast of the Day of Atonement), even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?"
Zec 8:19 says, "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth (Av 9), and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts."... Agape
